0:01hi everyone and Sam Evans here and I

0:03just wanted to make this quick video to

0:05share with you guys a list of things

0:08that are good and what I mean by that is

0:11some basic like everyday things that I

0:14use in my own life that I think you know

0:17make it a lot better they're just basic

0:19things they're very cheap anyone can use

0:21them and I'm gonna explain what they are

0:25and why I like them and why I use them

0:28and I'm guessing a lot of you or some of

0:31you might find these things really

0:33useful as well so what I'm going to do

0:35is I'm just gonna walk around my

0:37apartment here in New York and I'm just

0:40gonna show you these different things

0:41and I'll also include a link to them

0:44below this video on the blog where you

0:47can you know access these things and you

0:50know and get them for yourself if you're

0:51interested in them so let's start this

0:54little tour so first stop is the kitchen

0:58and the first thing I want to introduce

1:00you to list on number one on this list

1:02is quest bars there we go they look like

1:07this now these quest bars why I like

1:12them is you know a lot of the time you

1:15know I have breakfast I have lunch and

1:17then I have dinner but a lot of the time

1:18in between those meals you know I get I

1:20feel like a snack or I might feel like

1:22especially in the afternoons or the

1:24evenings I might feel like something you

1:26know that's bad for me like some

1:28chocolate or some sort of thing that's

1:31that's not very good for me and why like

1:33these quest bars is you know they taste

1:36pretty good they taste like a chocolate

1:38bar almost and the cool thing about them

1:40is that you can eat them but then

1:42there's no guilt afterwards because

1:44there's you know no sugar and then well

1:45there's nothing really in them that's

1:47bad for you so it doesn't matter if you

1:49have like two of these a day or whatever

1:50compared to if you have like you know

1:52two chocolate bars or something so

1:55that's why I like these and I you know I

1:57noticed as soon as I started having

1:58these I pretty much my cravings

2:00disappeared for like chocolate bars and

2:02things like that

2:03and it allowed me to be a lot healthier

2:05and it removed that guilt that I had you

2:08know after eating bad stuff now we'll go

2:10over to the fridge here

2:12and honor introduce you to number two on

2:15this list is Lacroix these things you

2:22can see we've got a good stockpile in

2:24here so the Croix why I like them is

2:27it's basically sparkling flavored water

2:31so you know you've probably had

2:33sparkling water before the only

2:34difference with Lacroix is that it's

2:36flavored and it tastes pretty damn good

2:38and why I like these is you know first

2:41of all it pretty much tastes like a soda

2:44it tastes like you know it's really

2:46flavor some it tastes really good but

2:48the good thing about them is that

2:49there's no sugar in them there's nothing

2:51bad in them it's pretty much just like

2:53drinking water and you can binge drink

2:55these things you know I have like six or

2:57seven of these things a day and you can

2:59drink as many of them as you want and

3:01it's not bad for you at all it's just

3:03like drinking water plus these things

3:05are real cheap as well you can get like

3:07a box of six or eight for like four or

3:10five bucks so cheap healthy for you and

3:13it's just like drinking water also the

3:15sparkling water part in it you know

3:17sparkling water suppresses your appetite

3:19a bit so it if you're drinking sparkling

3:22water throughout the day you don't feel

3:24like eating as much food which is you

3:26know good for health and all of that so

3:29that's pretty much the two things my two

3:31most favorite things in the kitchen now

3:34we'll walk through into the bedroom and

3:39here and into the sleeping area and this

3:47thing here it's one of my favorite

3:48things so look at this so this is like a

3:56an air conditioner for your beard and

3:59I'll pull it out here and you can see

4:03it's called a beard jet and I'll put a

4:08link to all of these things beneath this

4:10video here on my blog but why like this

4:13then

4:13well why like this is you know in the

4:17summertime it gets really hot and the

4:20thing about you know if you've got air

4:22conditioning in your apartment or

4:23whatever that's great but

4:25you know what it won't air-conditioning

4:28doesn't get underneath the duvet or

4:29underneath the blankets or anything so

4:31even if we have the aircon blaring in

4:34this apartment it's still like hot and

4:37sweaty underneath the the duvet in the

4:40sheets so that beer cooler just sits in

4:43between the bottom sheet in the top

4:45sheet and it puts in cold air in there

4:48and you can set the temperature just how

4:50you want it and what you'll find is it

4:52you know your sleep gets way better you

4:54know a lot of a lot of sleep quality

4:57comes from your body temperature it's

4:59one of the main driving forces in a

5:02quality sleep and if you have quality

5:04sleep you're going to be more productive

5:05you're gonna be more happy you're gonna

5:06make more money all of that stuff so you

5:08know there is a very real ROI

5:11- having a good sleep therefore there's

5:13an hour way to controlling your

5:15temperature when you're in when you're

5:17in when you're in bed so that's why the

5:20bed jet is an awesome tool that I highly

5:23recommend and why we're in here you can

5:25see I've got you know a big collection

5:27of the books I love reading and I'll

5:30just give you a quick except one of

5:32these books that I read recently

5:35principles by Ray Dalio

5:37I'll put a link below the video highly

5:40recommended this is probably the best

5:42book that I read in 2017 now what we'll

5:47do is we will cruise on through to

5:52bathroom and then I want to introduce

5:55you to this it's called an aura ring

6:00it's on charge right now you can see

6:03this little thing here and it goes on

6:05your finger and you can see it's got

6:07some of the leaked electrical things on

6:10the bottom now I like this is the border

6:16ring it basically tracks your heart rate

6:20attracts your body temperature attracts

6:22all these different things and it

6:23provides you with health metrics and my

6:26favorite thing about it is that it

6:27tracks your quality of sleep so it will

6:30track like how many hours of sleep you

6:32had the quality of your sleep and all of

6:35that stuff and when you when you start

6:38to have a metric that shows you how good

6:40your sleep is you can start to improve

6:43it and you know one of the things that

6:45I've found that helps me in business and

6:47in life the most is having a good sleep

6:50and that's why the beer cooler and their

6:52ordering are they're like the ultimate

6:54combination of tools to optimize and

6:57improve your sleep and so I highly

7:00recommend the ordering and I'm gonna put

7:02a link to that below this video on my

7:05blog as well

7:06now people coming out here to my home

7:11office area over here and I want to

7:17introduce you to something very simple

7:22some incense so one thing I really like

7:27to do when I'm working is light some

7:29incense and you know the stuffs super

7:31cheap and it's very simple and why I

7:34like it is I find it really helps me to

7:37relax and it also helps me to focus and

7:41really get into the zone and you know

7:43there's been a lot of actual studies and

7:45incense that's why they lighted it like

7:47the monk

7:48camps and up in the mountains with the

7:50ninjas and and all of those in all of

7:53those people but it it helps you focus

7:56on your breathing you know because the

7:58because the incense lets off a scent

8:01you know you're more focused and you're

8:03more conscious about your breathing

8:04which helps you to breathe better which

8:06therefore helps you to you know focus

8:08better in relax and so you know I found

8:11incense to be really helpful when I'm

8:13working throughout the day and it's

8:15another one of my things on the list of

8:17things that are good now what we'll do

8:20this will cruise over to my laptop here

8:24and now what I'm gonna do is I'm just

8:27going to jump onto my laptop and I'm

8:29going to show you a couple of tools on

8:30here that I find really helped me

8:33throughout the day and in my life so

8:36we'll jump on that right now

8:37alright so now we're on my computer I

8:39want to show you a couple of things that

8:41really help so the first one in this

8:43tool is seriously cool it's called the

8:47boom volume booster in the

8:50is available for Mac I'm not sure if

8:52they make Khan for a PC or not but if

8:54you're using a PC we should get a Mac

8:56anyway so this thing here it boosts the

9:00volume of your sound on your Mac and

9:03this it does it for both your speaker's

9:05in your in your computer and headphones

9:08and honestly when you when you install

9:11this thing and you listen to it for the

9:13first time you your life is going to

9:15change it dramatically improves the

9:18volume of your sound and also the

9:21quality of your sound so I highly

9:24recommend that you install this on your

9:26Mac it is one of the best things I've

9:28ever found and it's so simple and so

9:30easy so that's the first one and like

9:33all the other things you know I'm gonna

9:34put a link to it below this video on our

9:37blog now the next one I want to show you

9:41is something it called LastPass and so

9:47you know if you've ever you know if

9:50you're on the Internet which pretty much

9:51everyone is then passwords are a big

9:53thing you got to know your username and

9:55your password for like a million

9:56different things and you know it's a bad

9:58idea to use the same password for

10:00everything and it's you know you really

10:03want to have good passwords that are all

10:05different so that if one password gets

10:06leaked your whole life isn't all at risk

10:09so I recommend using this thing called

10:11LastPass and what it does is if you go

10:14to any website it pretty much autofills

10:17it so if I go to paypal.com for example

10:20and if I go login here it will show you

10:25know that it'll show my login info and

10:28what I need to do is just hit login

10:30because it's grabbing it from LastPass

10:32you can also say if your credit card

10:34info and you know all all things you

10:37really need and so really I I can go

10:40throughout you know the internet on all

10:42of these different sites and I can I can

10:46enter credit card info address info

10:49login info for everything without either

10:51having to type in anything and that

10:53makes you way more productive it makes

10:55you way faster and it also protects the

10:58security of everything because you know

11:00it's it's a complex password like this

11:03you can see like this for all of your

11:05different stuff instead of you know

11:07pulling your birthday and will your

11:10cat's name or something like that and so

11:12this is a really good hack that I highly

11:15recommend now another one that I really

11:18recommend is the warm app calendar and

11:22I'll show you what that looks like right

11:24here and I talked about this in a

11:27previous blog post but you know this is

11:30a calendar that I like to use it's free

11:32and it's available in Google Docs and

11:35anyone can use it's real easy to use and

11:38you know it's basically a way to plan

11:41your plan your life and plan your year

11:43in advance so you can you ever both a

11:45high level view here and you have a

11:47month by month view as well and I'm not

11:50going to talk about this one too much

11:52because I explained it in detail in a

11:53previous blog post so just check below

11:56this video for the link to that specific

11:58blog post and if you go there you'll be

12:00able to see all about it learn about it

12:02learn how you can use it and also you'll

12:05be able to get access to this tool for

12:07free as well and so that's pretty much

12:09you know the list of things that are

12:12good or the things that I use every day

12:14in my life to you know to be more

12:16productive and to get more out of my day

12:18and everything now like I said all of

12:20these things are cheap they're easy to

12:21use the easy to access and everyone can

12:23really start using them today and I

12:25highly recommend that you check them out

12:27and try them for yourself and then what

12:30I want you to do is if you're watching

12:32this video anywhere else other than my

12:35blog which is at consulting.com then

12:38what I want you to do is head over there

12:40right now to the full post because on

12:43over on our blog you'll be able to see

12:45the list of all of the different things

12:47that I mentioned in the links to go and

12:49access them as well as some more

12:50detailed information so if you're

12:52watching this video anywhere else head

12:54over there now and then what I want you
