20:55>> Good morning, UCFM. This is Yun Nava.

20:58>> I first encountered marijuana when I was

21:0216 years old. Uh it was actually one of

21:05my friends in the car was like, "Hey,

21:07you want to smoke?" And I was like,

21:07"Yeah, I've done this before." Just

21:09lying and literally hit the blunt and it

21:13was like a completely different world

21:15had opened up for me to just be 12 20%

21:18honest. Um

21:21since that day being 16, I already had a

21:23car. I already had a job. So that's kind

21:26of how the addiction just kind of opened

21:28up for me. I didn't have to ask my

21:30parents for money. I didn't have to ask

21:31my parents for anything. I was able to

21:33just to get it on my own and figure it

21:34out. And that's exactly what I did for

21:38about 10 years. I was shackled by that

21:41addiction. I didn't call it an addiction

21:43because I was convinced that I could

21:44stop when I wanted to cuz I was able to

21:47stop when I was pregnant. And in the

21:48military, I would stop for drill to be

21:51clean and all that kind of stuff. So, I

21:52had already tricked myself into

21:53believing that this isn't a real

21:55addiction, you know, like I have control

21:57over it, which is a complete trick. Um,

22:01I also used to do a whole bunch of

22:04research on marijuana. I used to do

22:07honors like presentations in college of

22:09like the medicinal purposes of it and

22:11why it's so good for you and D. I used

22:14to also like justify it on the spiritual

22:16aspect of well, you know, God put it on

22:19this earth and just a whole bunch of

22:21just confusion. You know, I can see that

22:23on the back end now. But in when I was

22:25in it, when I tell y'all I was in it, I

22:26was in it. I wasn't a person that just

22:28smoked here and there. No, I was a

22:30person that smoked every day, multiple

22:32times a day. And no one really had an

22:35issue with it because I was functional.

22:36You know, I was still a straight A

22:38student. I was still doing good in

22:39church. I was still praising the Lord. I

22:42was still doing all these things, but I

22:43was literally trying to fill a hole that

22:46was literally unfillable to be 100%

22:48honest. During my walk with God, there's

22:51like a certain point you reach where

22:53it's either God's going to say you're

22:55either going to continue to be lukewarm

22:56or you're going to be allin. And I think

22:59my spirit knew that. And so I started

23:02like smoking and it just would bring me

23:05so low. I was watching this podcast cuz

23:08we need to talk podcast. I started

23:09watching a lot of Christian podcastes

23:11and I'll never forget I just broke down

23:14and cried and cried and my husband came

23:16in. He's like, "What's wrong?" I'm like,

23:18I just feel so low, you know? Like, this

23:21isn't what it used to be for me. I feel

23:24like I want to stop, but I don't know

23:26how to stop. That was on a Saturday. I

23:29broke down. I went to church on that

23:30Sunday, and when I tell y'all, I praise

23:33God like I have never praised God

23:34before. Don't can't tell you what I was

23:36praising God for. I just knew something

23:37was about to change. I don't know why,

23:39but I just knew it. And I was like just

23:42dancing. There was this freedom that I

23:44had. there was like God had just met me

23:46and was like here I am you know and that

23:49was the moment of oh my lord this is the

23:51peace I've been looking for and that

23:55Sunday I stopped smoking weed it was it

23:58was honestly just like instantaneous to

24:00be real with you I just and then that

24:02Sunday night

24:04me and my husband got into the biggest

24:07most horrible argument we have ever

24:09gotten into in our marriage in our in

24:11our relationship cuz we're the type of

24:13couple that doesn't argue You know, if

24:15I'm like, "Lord, I don't understand why

24:16I'm going through this. I gave it up.

24:18I'm here for you. What are you doing?

24:19Are you abandoning me? Why are you

24:21attacking my marriage? What's going on?"

24:23Like, I'm talking to God. Like, he my

24:25homeboy. Like, what we doing right now?

24:27Like, what's up? Because it's not

24:29working, you know? And I to be real with

24:32y'all, I didn't hear him. I didn't hear

24:33God during that during that time. I just

24:36knew I just had to keep my eyes on the

24:38prize. And

24:41I just kept praying and I just kept

24:44worshiping despite how I felt like

24:47finally on Friday. So I told y'all we

24:50stopped talking that Sunday. I was

24:52praising up until that Friday. And that

24:56Friday, Fridays are usually our date

24:58days. So I'm like, "Hey, like do you

25:02want to do anything?" He's like, "Well,

25:04I kind of got to go to the stores." I'm

25:05like, "Okay, I'll ride." you know, the

25:07car ride there pitch silent, like no one

25:09saying anything. But it's just the mere

25:11fact that we were in each other's

25:12presence that I was happy with, you

25:13know, like I was able to take that

25:15little inch cuz I felt so alone and

25:17distant from him for the whole week. And

25:19we went to the store, okay? Got back

25:21from the store and we're like kind of

25:24talking little jokes here and there,

25:25whatever. Okay, cool. Started playing my

25:28gospel music again.

25:30We get home and the first time like he

25:34cracks a joke. I'm like, "Oh my gosh,

25:35we're we're getting back on the goods."

25:37Like, if you married, you know how it

25:38is, man. Like, you take you take what

25:40you can get, you know? And so,

25:43really wasn't like back to 100% normal,

25:45but we were back to talking again. And

25:48then later on that night, um me and him

25:51had sat down and he was just asking me

25:53all these questions about God. And he's

25:55like, I'm kind of interested to know

25:57like why who is this? Like, who is this

26:01God? What does he do? Why is he so

26:04prevalent in your lives? Remember I told

26:05y'all I was reading reading the Bible

26:07and praying and worshiping from that

26:09Monday through Friday morning. So like I

26:13didn't really know that God was

26:14preparing me for this conversation, but

26:15that's exactly what it was. You know,

26:17God was literally fixing me to be able

26:19to answer every question he might have

26:20properly. And then on that Sunday,

26:26the pastor has said something that just

26:29sparked in my husband. And next thing I

26:32know, he is going up to the altar to get

26:34saved.

26:36I ain't going to lie to y'all. That

26:38moment was the happiest moment of my

26:42life. It it's it was it was really just

26:45God working. You know, I can't even take

26:47credit for any of that cuz the way that

26:50wheels was turning was just that was God

26:52God ordained and God ordained only. And

26:54now our marriage is God-based. You know,

26:56God is at the root of our marriage,

26:58which is a beautiful thing to say. It's

27:00always been something I wanted. I just

27:01didn't know if it was something I needed

27:02to get. And honestly, our marriage

27:05testimony is still writing itself

27:07because I'm believing in God for a lot

27:08more things now. So, I am Taja Alexis

27:12Bell Stanton and this is my testimony.

27:19Won't he do it? Come on. We can do

27:22better than that. Won't he do it?

27:25God.

27:29They overcame by the blood of the lamb

27:32>> and the words of their testimony. If you

27:40>> Amen. At this time, we're going to

27:42prepare our hearts to give. Be the

27:44envelope. Raise your hands.

27:47Don't miss out on this time of giving.

27:50>> Not going to prolong you. have a lot

27:52going on on the schedule. But

27:55the Bible says, "Let us be not weary in

27:59welloing,

28:02>> doing what is right, doing what is good,

28:05for we shall reap in due season if we

28:08what bank not." Pastor preached a

28:11message a couple weeks ago that talks

28:13about the grace for compatibility.

28:16And one of the things he said that I'm

28:18is still sticking with me and it's

28:20sticking with me every morning when I

28:22wake up.

28:23Effort

28:25without alignment

28:28produces

28:30exhaustion.

28:32>> Effort without alignment

28:34produces exhaustion.

28:37So I began to go back and look at my

28:39life. you know, I'm good at the the

28:44effort, but am I really aligning myself

28:47with God?

28:49Then it immediately hit me concerning

28:51giving because I'm always thinking about

28:52what can I say during the time of giving

28:54to encourage the people to give, to let

28:56them be great stewards, to let them

28:58receive from God.

29:00We often get it right when it comes to

29:02effort even in giving. But if there's no

29:05alignment, we're operating only off of

29:07feeling or emotions.

29:10And we all know emotions is real, right?

29:13>> But it's not truth.

29:15>> And so we got to make sure that we are

29:17aligning ourselves with God with

29:18everything that we do.

29:20>> Alignment,

29:21agreement, making sure we even do some

29:24homework if necessary. One, spending

29:26time with God.

29:28>> And two, having his word placed in our

29:31hearts. That way, emotion doesn't fuel

29:34us, but the word of God does.

29:37>> Amen. So, some of you this morning may

29:39have to change your envelope because you

29:40may feel a certain way. I can only give

29:43because I'm not feeling like giving on

29:44today. So, I'm going to give this

29:45amount. But how many of you know we need

29:48to give God our best?

29:51>> How many of you know God requires us to

29:53be givers,

29:55>> even tithers, bring your tithe into the

29:57storehouse. There may be meat in my

29:59house. And then he says he will open up

30:02the windows of heaven. Look at the

30:03blessing, y'all.

30:05>> Alignment. So alignment goes both ways.

30:07We align ourselves. We're doing what God

30:09tells us to do and we align ourselves in

30:12receiving what God has for us to

30:13receive. Amen. But once again, if you

30:15need an envelope, raise your hands. If

30:17you're going to give online, we have our

40:12of Dr. Mark Ellis. As we come to

40:15celebrate 55 years of life and 30 years

40:19of ministry, one thing that I can say

40:22that being alive 55 years is a great

40:24accomplishment. But being in ministry

40:27for 30 years is the true testimony. Dr.

40:31Mark Ellis, you've been a mentor, you've

40:33been a friend, and you have been a

40:34brother to me. And one testimony I

40:37believe that everybody under the sound

40:39of my voice is able to say that since

40:42we've been in contact with Dr. Mark

40:44Ellis, our lives have never been the

40:48same. God bless you, sir. Happy

49:41The Lord's table,

49:44>> the invitation,

49:46>> a divine host with human guest,

49:52>> a moment of remembrance,

49:55moment of sacred reverence, a moment of

50:00celebration

50:02at the Lord's table. He says, "Do this

50:04in remembrance of me." And there are

50:06four observations we've noted from

50:08scripture that we're to make at the

50:10Lord's table. Our first reader will

50:12share our first observation.

50:14The observance of the Lord's supper

50:16begins with a bat word look. Do this in

50:19remembrance of me. In AD53,

50:22approximately 30 years after the

50:24crucifixion, Paul wrote our earliest

50:26account of the institution of the Lord's

50:28supper. It was already being handed down

50:31as an or tradition in the churches. We

50:34note the formula of the loaf and the cup

50:36in 1 Corinthians 11:23-2.

50:40Jesus took bread, saying, "Take, eat.

50:43This is my body which is broken for you.

50:46Do this in remembrance of me." The

50:49master took the cup from the Passover

50:51table, saying, "This cup is the new

50:53testament in my blood. This do ye as oft

50:57as ye drink it in remembrance of me."

51:00Just as the old covenant was sealed with

51:02blood and a meal eaten before the Lord,

51:04so the new covenant is recalled by

51:06memorial meal.

51:07>> Yeah.

51:08>> For Christ, our Pascal lamb, has been

51:10sanctified. The Lord's supper calls us

51:13to look at the cross. Blessed be the God

51:16of our salvation.

51:18>> Oh commun,

51:28Lord, we long to

51:37>> Our second observation,

51:40>> our observation or our observance also

51:43calls for an inward look. 1 Corinthians

51:4611:27-29.

51:48It is possible to be guilty of

51:50irreverence toward the body and blood of

51:53the Lord. Thus, we have a call to

51:55self-examination before we take the

51:58elements, eat the bread, and drink the

52:00cup. This is a time for spiritual

52:03inventory. We look to our relationship

52:05with God and other persons and may God

52:09be glorified.

52:48drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's

52:52death till he come. 1 Corinthians 11:26.

52:56The observance has a future reference.

53:00It is esquetological.

53:03And we look forward to Christ return in

53:34a forward look.

53:36I discern in this moment

53:40much distraction in the earth

53:44and many are unaware of the Lord's

53:46return

53:49his return with reward

53:53but the unintended consequences

53:56of not being prepared

53:59not being ready.

54:03What do you say? What are you what are

54:05your thoughts? A soldier,

54:13what are your thoughts about being

54:14prepared? How

54:18being prepared

54:21reflects

54:23what we feel about the outcome.

54:27If we have the outcome of being with him

54:31for all of our lives, then we must do

54:33what's necessary. The forward look.

54:37>> Yeah.

54:37>> Looking to be with him as he has

54:40promised.

54:44I think

54:47to these young people when I was young,

54:49I used to my mother would tell me the

54:52Lord is soon to come. But it didn't

54:55resonate like it does at 55.

55:00I have more signs, more pains in my

55:03body.

55:05A lot of weary days I've endured.

55:10I reflect upon Paul's writing when he

55:12said to live is Christ but

55:15at some point you get to a place in life

55:18where dying

55:21becomes the game to you

55:25as a young man. How do you

55:28how do you keep this forward look with

55:31so much of your life ahead of you to

55:33explore life and potentially marriage

55:36and children and careers?

55:39Marcus, how do you how do you keep the

55:41forward look?

55:48>> Um, every time I eat the bread and drink

55:52from the cup, it it just remind me like

55:55I got so much to live for cuz he died

55:57like

55:58>> Yeah.

55:58>> Like it it's it resonates with me well

56:01because I know what I I came from.

56:04>> Yeah.

56:04>> Like I know what he died for. I didn't

56:06seen what he died for. So it's like it

56:08click every time

56:10>> for me. It hit home every time. That's

56:12why I'm up and smiling cuz I got the joy

56:14of the Lord cuz I know he been so good

56:16to me.

56:16>> Yeah. So So you got to you got to be at

56:19the table and that helps.

56:22>> I need for any parent or any loved one

56:25that leaves your children or your loved

56:27one behind

56:28>> because we're serving communion even to

56:30your children.

56:32>> The table is necessary. Amen.

56:35>> Christ knew it was necessary.

56:38>> It's not just the bread and the cup that

56:41we partake of. It is the weightiness of

56:44his presence that's in the room.

56:47>> Behind every act of obedience

56:50affords you a miracle from him.

56:53>> Hallelujah.

56:54>> That's why the Lord's table is an

56:56invitation to all. In the Old Testament,

56:59it was a fellowship meal. Israel was

57:02commanded once a year to invite

57:05everybody

57:06>> to the Lord's table.

57:08>> Consume all the food. Nothing left.

57:12It was a shadow of what was to come. The

57:15Pascal lamb that will take away the sin

57:18of all the world. And the good news is

57:21that your sins have been forgiven.

57:26Why shouldn't we all be conduits of that

57:28message

57:29>> to go tell a dying world there's hope,

57:31there's life.

57:34>> At a table,

57:36>> our fourth observation.

57:38Hallelujah.

57:40>> In our worship at the Lord's table, we

57:42take an outward look. 1 Corinthians

57:4511:26,

57:47you proclaim the Lord's death. The

57:49communion meal is an enacted word. By

57:52participation in it, we herald and

57:54announce our faith. We look outward from

57:58the worship service to the world's need.

58:00People are lost, hungry, weary, and in

58:04pain. The observance is a call to

58:07Christian service.

58:09>> The Lord's supper calls us to remember

58:11and proclaim Christ's sacrificial death.

58:14It invites us to celebrate his living

58:16presence in our midst. And it fixes our

58:19hope on the final victory to realize at

58:23his coming.

1:21:30Acts 2:41,

1:21:34those who embraced his message were

1:21:36baptized, and about 3,000 were added to

1:21:40the believers that day. They devoted

1:21:42themselves to the apostles teaching and

1:21:45to the fellowship, to the breaking of

1:21:48bread, and to prayer.

1:21:50A sense of awe came over everyone. The

1:21:54apostles perform many miracles and

1:21:57wonders and signs.

1:21:59And all that believed were together and

1:22:02had all things in common. Father, give

1:22:04us preaching grace in these next few

1:22:05moments. We might be made better by

1:22:07hearing this your truth. It's in Jesus

1:22:09who is Christ's name we pray and give

1:22:44could from this thought. The power of

1:22:47the flock.

1:22:49The power of the flock.

1:22:52I heard certain phrases growing up as a

1:22:54little boy. My mother would use certain

1:22:56terms. My grandmother would use certain

1:22:57terms. I don't know if you heard them in

1:22:59your home, but they were not direct

1:23:01statements, but they were open-ended

1:23:03statements that led to certain

1:23:05conclusions. And they were almost like

1:23:07riddles. that you had to figure out.

1:23:10Sounds something like this. You don't

1:23:13believe fat meat is

1:23:18y'all. Grandmama had the same room.

1:23:21Now I think they were just trying to say

1:23:23you hardhead,

1:23:26but they can't say you hardhead.

1:23:28Uh say something like a hard head make a

1:23:31hard.

1:23:33>> I see we same together.

1:23:36You also would hear things like if it

1:23:38walk like a duck, talk like a duck,

1:23:40sound like a duck.

1:23:43But then there was one, none of those

1:23:46phrases had anything to do with my

1:23:49necessary functioning with other people.

1:23:54But every stage of life, whether

1:23:56elementary, junior high, or high school,

1:23:59my mama, grandma would use this phrase

1:24:01that had something to do with trying to

1:24:04say to me, who I hung around

1:24:08spoke to who I was.

1:24:12>> She didn't need to necessarily know what

1:24:14I was doing if she knew what they were

1:24:16doing. And

1:24:17>> I would find myself trying to defend

1:24:20myself against them and say, "Hey,

1:24:22they're my friends, but I don't do those

1:24:24things." And then she would say, "Birds

1:24:27of a

1:24:29>> flock together."

1:24:31Now, I thought my mama was crazy until I

1:24:35started paying attention

1:24:37that you hang around what either you are

1:24:40like or what you wish you were like.

1:24:46>> Yeah. I'm going to go there this morning

1:24:47on pastor's birthday because sometimes

1:24:50what we've done is our flock has told

1:24:54told the world who we wish we were.

1:24:59>> Sometime we hang with people who are

1:25:01brave enough to say what we're not

1:25:04>> to feel what we don't want to say we

1:25:06feel.

1:25:08>> So you don't do it but you enjoy being

1:25:10around it.

1:25:14Flocking birds means a group of birds

1:25:16gathering or flying together for

1:25:18protection, food, finding food, and

1:25:20migration. It's a natural behavior where

1:25:23birds follow simple local rules. And

1:25:26they don't always have to see the

1:25:28leader. Number one, they're together for

1:25:30safety from predators. Ask your

1:25:32neighbor, who do you flock with?

1:25:35>> Who do you flock with? Who is it that's

1:25:37your circle? Not just your church

1:25:39circle, but try it on this side. Cuz

1:25:41sometimes we got a church group,

1:25:44>> a friend group,

1:25:46>> a work group,

1:25:47>> and when I want to let my hair down and

1:25:49ain't nobody watching me group,

1:25:53>> you know, I just like you. I can keep it

1:25:55real with you. What does that mean? Does

1:25:57that mean all the other time you faking,

1:26:00tell your neighbor your flock telling on

1:26:02you.

1:26:04That's one OF THE REASONS Y'ALL BE GOING

1:26:05TO BE MAD AT ME BECAUSE I'M GOING TO

1:26:06PREACH SOMETHING today that IS NOT VERY

1:26:08POPULAR. SOMETIME it's good to find a

1:26:10good click in church.

1:26:55getting away from the pack. Last week I

1:26:58was in Tanzania and I saw a man small

1:27:01animals get captured because they kept

1:27:04hanging on the peripheral of the group.

1:27:06They were with the group but THEY WERE

1:27:08NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE GROUP TO stay

1:27:10protected. Y'all ain't saying nothing

1:27:11back to me. TELL YOUR NEIGHBOR, I KNOW

1:27:13YOU'RE AROUND HERE, BUT ARE YOU CLOSE

1:27:14ENOUGH NOT TO KEEP DRIFTING AWAY?

1:27:18AIN'T NOBODY TALKING. SOMETIMES THE

1:27:20INDIVIDUALITY THAT we have is the VERY

1:27:23THING THAT'S CAUSING US TO lose in life.

1:27:26NUMBER ONE, THE FLOCK IS FOR SAFETY FROM

1:27:29PREDATORS. PUT IT DOWN. SAFETY from

1:27:31predators. More eyes WATCHING FOR

1:27:33DANGER. SOMETIME THE FLOCK GETS TOGETHER

1:27:36AND THEY CAN MAKE THESE WEIRD MOVING

1:27:39SHAPES THAT WARD OFF LARGER ANIMALS AND

1:27:42THEY CAN SEE PREDATORS COMING THAT ONE

1:27:44BIRD BY ITSELF COULDN'T SEE, BUT THE

1:27:47FLOCK CAN SEE IT TOGETHER. MANY OF US

1:27:49ARE STRUGGLING BECAUSE WE THE ONLY ONES

1:27:51WATCHING OUT AFTER OURSELVES. Let me go

1:27:53on down THAT ROAD NOW. YOU THE ONLY ONE

1:27:55THAT YOU GOT TO GO THROUGH TO FIND OUT

1:27:57IF THAT'S THE RIGHT BOYFRIEND OR NOT.

1:27:59BUT YOU NEED A FLOCK THAT COULD TELL

1:28:00YOU, "GIRL, HE CRAZY. HIS LAST THREE

1:28:03GIRLFRIENDS SLAPPED IF Y'ALL AIN'T

1:28:06SAYING NOTHING BACK." BECAUSE LOVE IS

1:28:08BLINDING YOU AND YOU DON'T HAVE A CLOSE

1:28:23PROTECTION THAT WE CAN'T SEE. WHO DID

1:28:25YOU RUN YOUR BUSINESS PLAN BY? OR IS IT

1:28:28JUST YOUR OWN INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION

1:28:30THAT LEADS YOU TO IT? THERE'S SOMEBODY

1:28:32ELSE IF YOU'RE PART OF THE FLOCK THAT

1:28:34CAN SAY, "WAIT A MINUTE, THE INTEREST

1:28:36RATES GOING TO FALL LATER. DON'T DO IT

1:28:38RIGHT NOW." ASK YOUR NEIGHBOR, "WHO DO

1:28:40YOU FLOCK WITH?"

1:28:44FLOCK IS A GOOD THING OVER independence

1:28:46because it provides for protection.

1:28:48Number two, it provides for better

1:28:50searching for food. The bigger the

1:28:52group, THE GROUP CAN FIND FOOD TOGETHER.

1:28:55SOMETIMES WE'RE STRUGGLING FAMILY

1:28:57BECAUSE we keep diagnosing our own

1:28:59selves. We tell ourselves what we need.

1:29:02I know I just need this and I know I

1:29:04just NEED THAT. BUT SOMETIME YOU NEED

1:29:06other people who are PART OF YOUR GROUP

1:29:07THAT CAN SAY TO YOU, "NO, BABY, YOU

1:29:09DON'T NEED TO GO TO THE BAR. YOU NEED TO

1:29:11GO TO BIBLE STUDY

1:29:14BECAUSE FOOD IS IN BIBLE STUDY.

1:29:16NOURISHMENT IS IN BIBLE STUDY. NO, NO,

1:29:18NO. YOU DON'T NEED TO GO PAY NOBODY AT

1:29:20THE STRIP CLUB. YOU NEED TO SHOW UP AT

1:29:22PRAYER. Y'ALL PRAY FOR ME THIS MORNING.

1:29:51EVERYBODY does not feel the same weight

1:29:53and the SAME PRESSURE. IF YOU'RE PART OF

1:29:56THE GROUP, YOU GET TO GLIDE ON THE POWER

1:29:58AND the wind of somebody else. Ain't

1:30:00nobody saying nothing back. We got a

1:30:02generation of people who want to believe

1:30:04they made it here by themselves. But you

1:30:06OUGHT TO LOOK AT SOMEBODY AND TELL THEM,

1:30:08"AS GRANDMAMA SAID, SOMEBODY PRAYED FOR

1:30:10YOU. HAD YOU ON THEIR MIND, TELL

1:30:51KEEPS GIVING WIND BEHIND YOU. BUT TELL

1:30:53YOUR NEIGHBOR, THE LEADER IS TAKING SOME

1:30:56BRUISES THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET TO SEE.

1:31:00HE MAKES IT EASIER FOR YOU BECAUSE HE

1:31:03KEEPS FORGING FORWARD.

1:31:16THE HIT FIRST. WHY? SO YOU CAN GET TO

1:31:19THE DESTINATION WITH HIM, BUT EASIER.

1:51:03married at the age of 10. Not by choice,

1:51:05but by force. In their community, the

1:51:07women did 90% of the work, and they had

1:51:09to walk to these water holes and carry

1:51:1250 gallon jugs of water back that was

1:51:14diseased.

1:51:16And I said to myself, I'll never drink a

1:51:18half a bottle of water again.

1:51:20>> Just realizing how good God has been to

1:51:22me.

1:51:24>> Leadership that he give us. I go

1:51:25everywhere. Now, I'm telling you, your

1:51:28leaders are rare.

1:51:32>> That man is an alien. And I'm not saying

1:51:35it's cuz I'm his friend. I'm his friend

1:51:38because he is an alien. If he wasn't, I

1:51:40wouldn't fool with him.

1:51:42>> Tell your neighbor, I'm cutting off

1:51:43anything.

1:51:45that doesn't empower the flock. He has

1:51:47made me better.

1:51:50My life has changed because of you.

1:51:52>> I do business different because of you.

1:51:55I hear you arguing at me all the time

1:51:57and you ain't nowhere around.

1:51:59>> I go to give a discount. I hear you say,

1:52:00"Why you devaluing yourself again and

1:52:03you ain't nowhere in the room?" You've

1:52:04made an imprint in my life.

1:52:06>> Lift those gifts. Somebody shout, "Me,

1:52:08too." I simply want to pray and then I'm

1:52:11going to pass the mic and they'll

1:52:12instruct you. Are they going to walk

1:52:14down with their seed? Is that okay? Lift

1:52:16those gifts high. THIS IS A SACRIFICIAL

1:52:19LOVE SEED.

1:52:22It means something.

1:52:24He's worthy of it. What we GET TO DO IN

1:52:27THIS MOMENT IS BE WIND BENEATH THE WINGS

1:52:30OF SOMEONE WHO WON'T stop flapping.

1:52:34But today, we bring some ease to show

1:52:37him that his labor is not in vain and

1:52:40his reward doesn't just come from God.

1:52:43but it comes from his flock. Father,

1:52:45thank you for your people. Thank you for

1:52:48the love that they have for the man of

1:52:49God today. Thank you for the revelation

1:52:52that they got concerning the flock,

1:52:55which one to stay with and which one to

1:52:57push away. SAY THIS WITH ME. I BELIEVE

1:53:01>> I BELIEVE that the flock I HAVE

1:53:04>> THAT'S BEEN GIVEN BY GOD

1:53:07>> DESERVES MY APPRECIATION. SAY, I BELIEVE

1:53:10>> I BELIEVE

1:53:11>> THAT MY leader my LEADER

1:53:13>> WHO'S TAKEN MORE HITS than me

1:53:16>> deserves my love support.

1:53:19>> AND SO I SOW TODAY WITH JOY AND

1:53:23GLADNESS.

1:53:24>> NOW GOD,

1:53:26I EXPECT

1:53:27>> I expect

1:53:28>> return.

1:53:30>> I'M NOT DOING IT FOR RETURN. BUT THAT'S

1:53:34YOUR PRINCIPLE. SO I EXPECT AS I GIVE TO

1:53:38THE PROPHET I receive a prophet's reward

1:53:42and it is so in Jesus name. FATHER

1:53:44DIRECTION OF THE USHERS BRING YOUR GIFTS

1:53:46THIS WAY. As you bring them I want you

1:53:48to wave at your leader until his face

1:53:50started hurting from smiling.

1:54:09Come on. Come on. Bring those gifts.

1:54:11>> Stand with me.

1:54:14Agree with me. We're all a part of God's

1:54:21body.

1:54:23It is his will that every need be

1:54:30supplied.

1:54:32You are important

1:54:35to me. I need you to survive.

1:54:43You are important

1:54:46to me. I need you to survive.

1:54:58I pray for you. You pray for me. I love

1:55:04you. I need you to survive. I won't harm

1:55:11you with words from my mouth. I love

1:55:16you. I need you to surround. I pray for

1:55:22you. You pray for me. I love you. I need

1:55:29you, too.

1:55:30survive. I won't harm you with words

1:55:35from my mouth. I love you. I need you to

1:55:41survive.

1:55:43>> Amen. Come on, let's put our hands

1:55:45together for a mighty word that went

1:55:47forth this morning.

1:55:49Listen, we are getting ready to go. But

1:55:52a word like that,

1:55:54somebody in here knows that after today,

1:55:58your life has been changed. You need to

1:56:02change your flock.

1:56:04And there's at least 10 people in the

1:56:07room this morning who really resonated

1:56:11with that word and you've been waiting

1:56:14on an opportunity to get a Rama that

1:56:16changed your life. And so if you are

1:56:19here today and you say, "Elder Walker, I

1:56:22want to accept Jesus Christ into my

1:56:24life." This is your opportunity to come

1:56:27to the altar. We don't want to leave

1:56:29without giving you an opportunity to

1:56:31make this declaration in your life.

1:56:34We're getting ready to go. We're

1:56:36standing all over the house. And you

1:56:37say, "Well, Elder Walker, I'm already

1:56:39giving my life to Christ,

1:56:41but I want to make it official. I want

1:56:44to make this declaration

1:56:47that Christ is going to get the glory

1:56:50out of everything in my life. And so we

1:56:53want to give you a moment to just come

1:56:55to the altar if that's you because we're

1:56:58getting ready to pray as we leave the

1:56:59sanctuary. We're standing. We're

1:57:01standing. We're standing.

1:57:05But I want you to think about where you

1:57:07are in this moment

1:57:10and everything in your life that has not

1:57:13gone according to the pattern that God

1:57:16prescribed

1:57:17because this is a progressive church.

1:57:21And the thing about progression,

1:57:22progression does not go backwards.

1:57:26>> Hello somebody.

1:57:29So if you feel like you have been

1:57:30regressing,

1:57:32I'm talking to you.

1:57:35Because in a progressive environment,

1:57:37there's no moving back. There's only

1:57:39going forward. And this is what I've

1:57:42learned. Because we are in the same

1:57:44flock.

1:57:46Sometimes my progression can be delayed

1:57:50because you are not in alignment.

1:57:54>> And so I'm going to make this plea one

1:57:55more time.

1:57:57Don't allow your regression to keep

1:58:00someone else from progressing.

1:58:04Lift your hands all over the sanctuary.

1:58:08Lord, we bless you for the word that has

1:58:10gone forward this morning.

1:58:14And we recognize that each of us has a

1:58:17role to play

1:58:20in the kingdom of God.

1:58:23And so we make this declaration now

1:58:27that we need you more than ever before.

1:58:30We need you for guidance. We need you

1:58:33for direction.

1:58:35We need you for understanding.

1:58:38And most of all, Lord, we need you to

1:58:40help us to understand the difference

1:58:42between the mission and the vision to

1:58:46know where we are in this point and

1:58:48moment in time to accomplish each

1:58:51mission that supports the vision of the

1:58:54vision of this church. And so Lord, we

1:58:57stretch our hands toward heaven

1:59:00and we ask that you would continue to

1:59:02lead and guide us. Give us direction.

1:59:04Give us understanding to know what is

1:59:06our role in the matter. That men might

1:59:09see our good works but give you the

1:59:11glory. For all glory and honor belongs

1:59:14to you. And you have given us Christ who

1:59:17is the hope of glory in us. And so we

1:59:20thank you for the Holy Spirit even now

1:59:23that leads and guides guides us into all

1:59:25truth. And Lord, we pray now that as we

1:59:28leave this place, but never from your

1:59:30presence that you would be with us. In

1:59:33Jesus name we pray. Amen. And amen.

1:59:39All right. Listen. Look at your neighbor

1:59:41to the left and right of you and say,

1:59:43"If no one tells you no one

1:59:46>> that they love you,

1:59:48>> let me be the first to tell you

1:59:50>> I love you. I love you.

1:59:52>> And there's not a thing you can do about

1:59:54it."
