0:01everyone at Sam Evans here and today I

0:03wanted to make a quick video to to

0:06really give you a powerful tip to live

0:09by like everyday so you know there's

0:13there's one principle that's really

0:14helped me a lot in life and in business

0:15and that is you know outputs derive from

0:19inputs so outputs Drive from inputs what

0:23does that mean well you know it was a

0:25Newton that said for every action there

0:27is an equal and opposite reaction all

0:29right and you know that really changed

0:32the whole way that the the world viewed

0:34like reality and and how the universe

0:37worked and everything and they you know

0:39they understood that you know for every

0:42action there's an equal and opposite

0:43reaction so you know to make something

0:46moved it has to be energy applied to it

0:48so if you want to make something move it

0:50can't just move magically you know there

0:52has to be energy exerted in there to get

0:54it to move and you know the energy that

0:56goes into it is proportionate to how

0:57much it moves and so that really helped

1:00you know human the human race really

1:03excel at a lot of things and build

1:05machines and technology and things like

1:07that but you know it goes a lot deeper

1:09than that it's not just it's not just

1:12you know in physics where we're looking

1:14at energy and moving things and stuff

1:16like that it's also in your life and in

1:18your business and you know for every

1:21action there's an equal and opposite

1:22reaction but for every output you know

1:25you've got to look at what inputs go in

1:27and so a lot of people they think they

1:30forget about the inputs and they just

1:32obsess and they fixate on the output and

1:35I'll give you a specific example so you

1:38know a lot of people they might look at

1:39people who are in good shape and fit and

1:42healthy and all of that and then they

1:44might think oh well that person's just

1:46got good genetics or all that person's

1:49just lucky or all that person was just

1:51born like that alright that's not how it

1:53works

1:54you know the people who are in good

1:56shape like that they will be eating well

1:58they'll be sleeping well and they'll be

1:59exercising and so those are the inputs

2:02to be healthy so if you want to be

2:04healthy it's not magic it's just you

2:07know good eating good sleeping good

2:09exercise and it's as simple as

2:11and then when it comes to business a lot

2:13of people think oh that guy he just got

2:16the money from his parents or all that

2:17guy was just lucky or all that guy just

2:19flute dirt or that business just was the

2:22perfect timing or something like that

2:24but that's not truly that you know I

2:26don't know any single person on earth

2:28that is wealthy and has a successful

2:30business that hasn't put in an insane

2:32amount of effort and hard work and so

2:35you know if you want to make a lot of

2:37money then there has to be an input and

2:39a huge amount of effort you know for

2:41every action there's an equal and

2:42opposite reaction so if you want to be

2:44really successful you've got to put in a

2:46huge amount of work and there is really

2:49no magic to it like it's there's no

2:52instance where someone puts a no effort

2:54and gets out a huge amount of you know

2:56reward and so you know it's this thing

2:59it exists everywhere it's one of these

3:01universal principles that you can use to

3:04guide you in life and everything and you

3:07know it really runs deep because

3:08recently I was watching a like a TV

3:12series called shifts table and they

3:15interviewed like the most successful

3:17chefs around the world and they asked

3:19them like you know what's the secret to

3:21having to being one of the best chefs

3:23ever right and I was like all maybe

3:25these guys have some sort of magic you

3:27know I even I even started thinking like

3:29this and then all of them are like the

3:31secret to really good food is really

3:33good ingredients so we pretty much spend

3:36our entire lives just hunting for the

3:38best ingredients and some of the best

3:40chefs in the world take this to the

3:42extreme of starting their own farms so

3:46that they can ensure that they get the

3:47best ingredients and then when they go

3:49to the farms they have to make sure

3:51they've got the best soil and then

3:53they've got to make sure they've got the

3:54best grain and all of this stuff and so

3:57it keeps going back you know how do you

3:59have the best farm well you've got to

4:00have the best soil how do you have the

4:02best soil will you've got to have I

4:03don't know the the best next thing and

4:05you've got to keep tracing these

4:07cause-effect relationships upstream

4:09you've got to really go upstream and

4:12find out the different components that

4:14lead to you know the later components

4:17and if you really get good at seeing

4:19things this way and tracing things

4:21upstream and figuring out what are the

4:23causes

4:24for this what are the causes for this

4:25then you can really start to pick apart

4:27anything and you know you can really

4:29understand what it takes to to build

4:31these things that seem impressive so you

4:35know when it comes to having a

4:37successful business and and in all of

4:39that I want to give you a few tips that

4:42can really you know a few tips to focus

4:44on that are powerful inputs that

4:46generate powerful outputs now the first

4:48one is what you spend your time doing

4:50day-to-day when you're working so here

4:53on my screen I've got my warm app

4:56calendar now my warm app calendar is

4:59basically a calendar I use to map out my

5:02year and then my quarter and then my

5:05month and then my weeks and in my days

5:06and I'm constantly every day multiple

5:09times per day looking at this warm app

5:11and mapping everything out you know I

5:13want to make sure that every day I'm at

5:15work I'm implementing the most powerful

5:17things possible I don't want to get lost

5:19on social media I don't want to get lost

5:21on YouTube you know most people they

5:23think they're working but really they're

5:25just sitting at a desk and they're not

5:27working and so the warm app calendar is

5:30one of my tricks to make sure that the

5:32inputs going into my business are

5:34powerful and I'm focusing on the right

5:36thing and so I'm gonna link beneath this

5:39video to the warm app calendar so you

5:41can go check it out and use it for

5:43yourself and another one you know

5:46another input which is very powerful is

5:49you know food so like what food do you

5:53have going into you because if you're

5:54low on energy

5:55then chances are that you're not eating

5:58properly and that's why you know you

6:00know in order for your body to exert

6:01energy it's got to have good fuel in it

6:04you know if you feel like if you fill a

6:05car up with water it's not gonna start

6:08and so you want to make sure you've got

6:10good food and so you know one thing I

6:13focused on this year and last year was

6:15having a chef and really making sure

6:17that we've got good food and all of that

6:19and also not drinking fizzy drink and

6:23sodas and stuff like that so you want to

6:27make sure that you have good food going

6:30in and you want to make sure that you're

6:31planning out your day and your month in

6:33putting time into the right

6:36now I'm gonna give you some more so now

6:39we're gonna talk about inputs into your

6:42brain so here you can see one of my

6:45bookshelves another one here I think

6:47we've got about a thousand books in here

6:49now and so another one you want to look

6:52at is you know your brain so what inputs

6:57are going into your brain in terms of

7:00information because you know if you want

7:03to know why someone is smart or why

7:05someone knows how to do something that

7:07you don't they weren't born with it and

7:10they weren't like gifted or anything

7:12like that those are all myths the reason

7:15why is because they've just got good

7:17ingredients

7:18just like the shifts they're not just

7:19magically the big shifts in the world

7:21they focus on getting the best

7:23ingredients and so people who are smart

7:26and people who know how to do things

7:28that you don't and people who you know

7:30seem to always seem to always have the

7:33answers to things really they don't and

7:36really they're just they've just filled

7:38their heads with good information

7:40instead of watching Game of Thrones

7:42instead of watching the news and instead

7:45of you know on being on social media and

7:47looking at all of that crap you know

7:49people successful people are filling

7:50their brains with good inputs and you

7:54know really good inputs of books there

7:56really is you know nothing more powerful

7:58than reading good books and that's why

8:01there's a quote that says readers are

8:03leaders and you know it's very true so I

8:06highly recommend filling your head with

8:08good information and also instead of

8:11watching movies like I recommend

8:15watching documentaries like watch

8:16documentaries on you know the

8:19revolutionary leaders watch

8:20documentaries about history and how the

8:22world came to be the way it is because

8:24then you're filling your head with

8:26useful information that you can later

8:28use you know you always want to be

8:30thinking what inputs are going in

8:31because the inputs that are going in are

8:33going to create the outputs that come

8:35out so instead of focusing on or how can

8:38I be rich or how can I you know buy a

8:40new car or how can I make a hundred

8:41grand focus on well how can I get good

8:45sleep how can I eat well how can I do

8:47some exercise

8:49and how can I read good books and then

8:52how can I be productive and put in good

8:54work each day because if you focus on

8:56the inputs the outputs just happen and

8:59but if you focus on the outputs then

9:01nothing happens and you know there's a

9:04saying that's garbage in garbage out and

9:06what it's a it's a popular saying in the

9:09development world and in the coding

9:11software world and what it basically

9:13means is it doesn't matter how good the

9:14system is if you put garbage into a

9:16system garbage is going to come out of

9:18the system and so you know it doesn't

9:21matter how talented you are it doesn't

9:23matter how gifted you are or anything

9:25like that if you put bad inputs into you

9:28bad it bad outputs are going to come out

9:31and this happens everywhere from what

9:33how you spend your time each day what

9:35books you read what movies you watch and

9:37you know how you spend your time what

9:40food you put into you and you know

9:42really who you hang out with to you know

9:44your friends and the people around you

9:46their inputs to their influences on you

9:49and how you're going to evolve and so

9:52you want to be very careful about all of

9:54these things that you come into contact

9:55with you want to be careful with the

9:57information you read the movies you

10:00watch the music you listen to the people

10:02you're around you know how you spend

10:05your time because all of these things

10:07massively influence who you are you know

10:10you are pretty much what you consume and

10:13so if you're constantly hanging out with

10:15people that are talking about negative

10:17useless stuff and if you're constantly

10:19watching negative movies and Netflix and

10:21stuff I mean you know what's going to

10:23come out garbage

10:24nothing nothing special and so really if

10:28you want to do well in life and if you

10:30want to do well in business and

10:31everything always think you know for

10:35every action there's an equal and

10:36opposite reaction and garbage in garbage

10:39out

10:40so you want to constantly be thinking

10:42how can I make sure that I'm focusing on

10:45the right inputs to generate the outputs

10:47and when you do that everything will

10:51change and shift for you so that's it

10:53for this video I just wanted to do a

10:55quick one today

10:55and I wanted to just give you a quick

10:57tip that I'm sure will help you

10:59throughout business and life

11:00Thanks
