0:00so what's

0:02up well we just flew from um from Miami

0:05straight here so that was a long flight

0:08but uh yeah I'm glad to be in it's

0:10always funny coming to LA from Miami

0:12just the total opposite why cuz like

0:14Miami is all like Latin culture right

0:16and then you come to LA and it's a

0:17totally different culture but it's also

0:20by the beach but uh you get pros and

0:24cons of both I like coming I like coming

0:26here to visit especially coming to

0:28sugundo it's like a totally different

0:30Vibe than um like La specifically it's

0:33like right on the

0:34outskirts but uh more homey I

0:38think what how would you describe the

0:40vibe of

0:41Miami uh it's funny because my wife and

0:44I we're not even into that vibe that it

0:45is but it's like more night more light

0:47life like young 20 to 25 year olds like

0:50partying make money like uh boats Yachts

0:53all that and I I mean I I'll have fun

0:55but like we don't even drink so you know

0:57we don't even go out like our our night

0:59of going out or having fun is like

1:00dinner but the funny part about Miami is

1:02dinner doesn't start till like 10:30 or

1:0411: really yeah like we we show up at

1:066:00 or 6:30 or 7 to dinner cuz that's

1:08when we usually eat 6:00 and there's no

1:11one in the restaurants the popular

1:13restaurants there's no one there it's

1:15just us and we like where is everybody

1:17and we learned this when we first moved

1:18there it's because everybody starts

1:20partying or doing dinner at 10: 10:30

1:24and then they go out they stay out till

1:25like 4: really yeah so what time did did

1:28people wake up well it's funny my wife

1:31actually got invited by a friend group

1:34of hers that was like we're going to

1:35start we're going to go out tonight you

1:37want to come and she's like um well I

1:38haven't gone out so yeah I'd love to do

1:39it and they're like okay pregame starts

1:41at uh at 2 o'clock in the

1:43morning so like 2 o'clock in the morning

1:46is when the pregame starts so then

1:48they're not going to wake up till like 2

1:49or 3 or 4 in the afternoon damn yeah

1:54it's like what I did when I was like at

1:56College yeah exactly so it doesn't make

1:58sense for us now m that's not what I'd

2:01be I mean maybe once like a year maybe

2:03if it was like a celebration or

2:04something I'd be I'd go hard but so why

2:08do you like it

2:10Miami I've lived in Arizona so I've

2:13lived in Texas I was born in Texas and

2:15then we moved to Arizona when I was

2:16going into uh seventh grade and then I

2:19was there from seventh grade till

2:21college and then I was just tired of it

2:24so I was like all right let's go to

2:25Miami the only reason why we moved to

2:26Miami just to be honest was because at

2:28that time this is when Co was happening

2:31and it really didn't make much sense to

2:32go anywhere else that uh was attractive

2:36to us in the United States we were

2:38thinking about New York but uh the

2:40policies and stuff there were pretty

2:42crazy and Miami just made the most sense

2:47and also like you know my wife's

2:49Colombian and I'm I've always had a goal

2:51to speak fluent Spanish and my my

2:53parents are and my family is like more

2:55Hispanic and and so I was like all right

2:56I got to learn Spanish where's the best

2:57play to do that Miami in the United

2:59States

3:00everyone speaks Spanish in Miami it's

3:01like the first language actually so uh I

3:05like it because I'm 10 minutes away from

3:06the beach um the only thing that sucks

3:10about Miami is the so for example I'm a

3:15big UFC fan so the fights start at 10:00

3:18EST which means the last fight the main

3:20fight that you're watching the UFC card

3:22for the Mixed Martial Art fights is

3:24starting at like 1 or 1:30 so like my

3:26sleep schedule on Saturdays is like

3:28screwed I'll stay up to do that maybe

3:31I'm an old guy I don't know but uh but

3:34the beach the friend group the

3:36networking alone I got to meet Bashar

3:37out there who's also in the The

3:39Mastermind and then Mitch is out there

3:41there's a lot of people out there that I

3:43just didn't even know and would never

3:45have been connected with if I didn't

3:46move to Miami so like I knew everybody

3:48in Arizona as much as I could in this in

3:50this you know marketing space and I was

3:52like all right where are we going to

3:53move Miami makes the most sense let's

3:55move and we've been there for a year now

3:58um this month so it's been pretty fun

4:01yeah it seems to be one of these new

4:02like entrepreneur hubs I always hear of

4:05people moving to Miami yeah and the

4:08other one is like I mean you hear about

4:10Dubai right yeah but Dubai's time zone

4:14is pretty

4:15crazy why did you give it that that kind

4:18of year um it was like a year but no

4:22well I feel like it's also it's just a

4:23totally different country yeah you know

4:26it's a lot to just to save money on Tax

4:29it's like going to Puerto Rico right

4:31like you're do you're kind of just doing

4:34it to save money on taxes but then

4:36you're kind of sacrific and then you

4:37always come back to United United States

4:39anyways for business so it's kind of

4:42like interesting not to say that anyone

4:44who's living in Dubai isn't having a

4:45great time because it looks like they

4:46are always right uh and there's like no

4:48crime and stuff but I just I don't

4:52know I'll say it I've never been to

4:54Dubai so I can't speak on it that much

4:56but uh I think that um

4:59I like Miami right now you know Arizona

5:02I was pretty surprised because I'd never

5:04been there before I went out to meet

5:05Cole Gordon and there's like a good

5:09little network of of entrepreneurs there

5:12it got even more popular around the time

5:13that I moved to Miami um and we I knew

5:16if I stay there another year I'd

5:17probably just stay there as my home base

5:19and there's nothing wrong with Arizona

5:20the only thing it's missing is like a

5:22beach right but other than that it has

5:24you know Sedona which is an hour up

5:25north which is like the uh the red rocks

5:28and a lot of people go there relax and

5:30get away and then you have Flagstaff an

5:32hour north from Sedona which is like the

5:34mountains where you can go snowboarding

5:36and skiing um so it's like really sick

5:39it's a sick State actually um and

5:42there's a lot of people in there

5:43especially in the space so Arizona is

5:46nothing to not be uh bragging about it's

5:48definitely a great state Scottdale

5:51especially too yeah yeah I was surprised

5:54there was like a good network of like

5:56entrepreneurs they're even in the same

5:57building pretty much they one in North

5:59uh

6:00yeah it's uh the Optima kand North North

6:03Scottdale yeah there's like I know like

6:0510 or 12 people that live there it's

6:08like that all entrepreneurs that are all

6:10yeah all entrepreneurs they all work

6:11together all work with the same clients

6:12it's funny yeah yeah cuz yeah I've been

6:15I've now met I had a zoom call with this

6:18guy Nick Verge you know yeah he said he

6:21knows you yeah and I could spot in the

6:23background I was like wait a minute are

6:25you in the same building yeah and he was

6:27like yeah and I was like how many of you

6:29are there cuz you were just there right

6:32yeah you said you were was there like I

6:34don't know 90 days ago did you go on the

6:37rooftop yeah yeah where they have like

6:38the sa and everything yeah yeah and

6:41there was like clients and Community

6:42guys and just a whole there was probably

6:45like 10 entrepreneurs there that I met y

6:49it's pretty cool I think that change

6:51that's what a lot of entrepreneurs need

6:54as a small group like that yeah cuz it's

6:57too much to just sit in your house by

6:59yourself yeah and just be on the

7:02computer yeah cuz we've all done that

7:03already during the during the pandemic

7:05and stuff right so we're like let's get

7:07out and let's go let's go be around

7:09others so that's why that that Community

7:11there is so sick do you have that in

7:12Miami Yeah well yeah so where we live is

7:15in Brickle and that's like literally

7:17where pretty much a lot of people want

7:19to live because it's it's so close to

7:21everything you're 10 minutes from the

7:23beach just cross the bridge and you're

7:25there you know Mitch lives like

7:27maybe 5 minutes down the street stre

7:29from me um I can walk and go to another

7:32friend's apartment uh who lives

7:34literally right across the street from

7:35me and we all go to the same like gym we

7:39all go to the the beach on the same like

7:41it's just it's a really cool community

7:43so you guys hang out quite a bit Yeah

7:45like so we go to the cigar bar and stuff

7:46sometimes um so yeah it's it's you got

7:49to have that Community I think too

7:51especially with with the business World

7:52especially when you're doing online

7:53stuff so like that kierin spot in North

7:56North Scottdale like you don't even you

7:58don't have to leave that place because

8:00they have the the sauna they have the

8:01cold plunge they have the jacuzzi they

8:04have the gyms there's a gym in each

8:05building and think there's like four

8:06buildings in there if if I did stay in

8:08Arizona we'd be living there but Miami's

8:10uh Miami is still

8:12fun yeah

8:15so yeah I think

8:17that's it's like underrated but that's

8:20super important to have like a real good

8:24network of of friends around you that's

8:26a good point I was going to ask you

8:27because like with with school right it

8:30was in well not school well Consulting

8:32before right it was in person and then

8:34uh and now it's more in person again as

8:37opposed to Virtual right so I guess I'm

8:39curious for you like because of the

8:42community being so like important like

8:45what's your take on like the iners

8:46versus virtual now for what for like

8:50even just like uh even your team I guess

8:52I'm curious like oh so like the school

8:55team yeah yeah so everyone's in La mm

9:00but we are remote but about like 30% of

9:06the team is in person all the

9:09time and then the team comes in for like

9:12on-site interviews when we inter hire

9:14people they also come in when we brief

9:18them on like a new project so we can

9:20just collaborate together and then once

9:22a month for something we call a team day

9:25oh so they all come in yeah yeah so like

9:28it's a hybrid hybrid yeah

9:31um and some people still choose to work

9:34in office all the time I'm one of those

9:36people yeah when you have a kid it's

9:39totally different story yeah I have to

9:41leave my house cuz where we're at so

9:44what when we moved to Miami from Arizona

9:46it's my wife's Colombian so we went to

9:47Columbia for a month before we moved to

9:50Miami so I got to experience like

9:52Columbia and everything and that was

9:53pretty crazy and not crazy in a bad way

9:55crazy in like a cool way and um we moved

9:58to Miami without any place of living we

10:00just got an Airbnb for two weeks and

10:02we're like we'll figure it out and

10:03luckily we found a place on the second

10:04day and that's the place we're living in

10:05now but it's a studio right so like when

10:08you walk in it's a staircase immediately

10:10to The Loft up there where we have the

10:12bedroom and then on the bottom it's the

10:14living room the couch and like the

10:15balcony that has the view of Bickle

10:17which is sick but uh there's no way I

10:20can work there like during the day

10:23because it's well first of all the if I

10:25did have a desk and stuff it'd be on the

10:26same room floor as my bed as our bed so

10:30like I have to leave so I got a

10:32co-working spot where it's me and Nick

10:33in the office and uh I like have to

10:37leave to go work now which I like kind

10:40of like you it's like I like to go to

10:41the office and get stuff done if I try

10:42to work from home on my couch it's like

10:45it's just different so I have to

10:47separate the

10:49two yeah it's interesting watching this

10:52whole Trend emerged like everyone was

10:55like hardcore remote and now we're

10:58starting to see the crack of it I think

11:00that's why I was curious yeah yeah I

11:03mean we we haven't seen it so much with

11:04our company because we're still small

11:07and everyone's still in LA and we still

11:10have in person quite a lot um but in

11:14other just in in general there's like a

11:17ton of companies coming back to the

11:18office now you know went to speak at USC

11:21like the university over here oh that's

11:23sick and to their like engineering and

11:25business school and I asked a bunch of

11:29the

11:29students like I was curious would you

11:33would you rather have an inperson job or

11:35a remote and they said iners wow after

11:37after Co doing university remote they

11:41never want it ever again it sucked so

11:43bad imag and they're like we're going to

11:46be learning like how are we supposed to

11:48learn remote right yeah like you don't

11:52see just imagine it like going out of

11:55University and then starting a job and

11:57you're just like at a computer

12:00and you don't have that discipline yet

12:02to know like how to manage yourself cuz

12:04you're like you could be what like 20

12:07years old 21 years old yeah and also

12:09just the social interaction element

12:12probably single yeah yeah the the work

12:15environment would be totally dis you

12:18know different for you to navigate that

12:20which is interesting because what you

12:21said earlier like like look at what Elon

12:23Musk is doing with Twitter right like

12:25he's just getting everybody at the

12:28office like grinding and they're like

12:31making that product better all in person

12:33though it seems I could be wrong but

12:35from what I'm seeing on like Twitter it

12:37seems like they made everything in

12:39person yeah I think he

12:42just he was just trying to really strip

12:46that company down to the Beer Essentials

12:48and that was one way to do that right

12:50yeah well it's like what you said I

12:52think it was at the not the most recent

12:54Quantum Mastermind but the one before

12:55that when it was virtual you were like

12:58what's the fastest way to make

12:59uh a car go faster when you were

13:02building go-karts I think it was right

13:04you like you get rid of the extra extra

13:06weight yeah that's that's the easiest

13:09fastest way to make a car go faster it's

13:11exactly what it seems like he's doing or

13:12he did and it's it's now going

13:15faster and the experience is better I

13:17think too yeah I've listened to a few

13:21podcasts or interviews with him and he's

13:24got a very similar like way of

13:26approaching problem solving to me his

13:29first instinct is to delete right so

13:32like when they're building a

13:34car if

13:36there's there's so many parts that come

13:38together to make a car right but every

13:40individual part he thinks do we need it

13:43well you don't know until you've tried

13:44to remove it and then you see and then

13:48sometimes it doesn't work and you're

13:49okay well this part is necessary right

13:52mhm you can do that in your business too

13:54yeah

13:55um yeah and what's fascinating though is

13:58he said that in produ like you know when

14:00you're running a production line there's

14:02generally some part that will have

14:05issues and it will be like blocking the

14:06production line and it halts the whole

14:09Factory the whole Factory grinds to Halt

14:11cuz one thing is like blocking it and

14:14often when he goes to find that what

14:17that thing is that's blocking

14:19it it then he figures out do we need

14:22this it's often not even necessary so

14:25this is what I've found too often the

14:27things that are costing you the most

14:29time and effort and energy and holding

14:31everything else back are things that

14:33aren't even necessary at all and so like

14:36it's almost like they're calling for

14:38your attention like

14:39hey this is unnecessary and it's going

14:42to hurt you you know what I mean yeah

14:44it's bottlenecking you but it's not even

14:46needed yeah so it's like a bottleneck

14:49it's like everyone suffers for

14:51nothing yeah I'm trying to think of an

14:53example of like how how to define that

14:56well that's how I was working with you

14:57with the course you remember oh when we

15:00made that that course together yeah um

15:03and for people listening that the course

15:05was like webe and you and I were like

15:09well you should share what that

15:10experience was like yeah so it was it so

15:14it's well the story the full story was

15:16started start of the year uh I ended up

15:19joining Quantum and um my goal is to

15:22build out uh the coaching program for

15:24our agency cuz we had an AG we have an

15:26agency and uh we we help clients scale

15:28with YouTube ads and then you were I

15:31joined Quantum to have to get uh the

15:33help from you and the other members to

15:35build the done with you and then after

15:37the first event that I attended which it

15:39was crazy because you asked me to speak

15:40and I was like oh sick yeah so I just

15:42shared a bunch of YouTube ad stuff with

15:43the members and then like two weeks

15:45later you're like I have an idea can you

15:47get on a call and I was like yeah let's

15:49do it and then you uh were like I'm

15:51doing this new uplevel two 3.0 or 2.0

15:56but it's not up level it's totally

15:58different uh but I don't want to teach

16:00the YouTube ads in it because I think I

16:04think that it would be easier if you

16:08just did it because you're the one that

16:09does it um and then I was like yeah

16:12let's do it and then uh so basically we

16:14you asked me to help you with that and I

16:16did it I created all the content for it

16:17and and I guess it relieved stress from

16:20you and time so I just focused on it so

16:22you didn't have to right that's like

16:23relieving the bottleneck right there oh

16:26yeah I mean that was awesome how I

16:27didn't have to do it

16:30because I mean I wasn't doing YouTube

16:32ads so you

16:34know like I wasn't going to learn it and

16:38then teach it and be average at it right

16:42you know it was funny like in the at The

16:45Mastermind event that one you were

16:47attending yep you know we were going

16:48through all the topics and I could speak

16:50on them because I had been doing them

16:53then we get to YouTube ads and I like

16:55paused and I was like there was just

16:57nothing

17:00and I was like thinking in my head like

17:01am I really going to just try to talk

17:03about something that I don't know how to

17:06do and I was like this is not going to

17:09work like I can't do I can't fake it

17:12like that um and so then I just saw you

17:18and the audience you were like right

17:19there and then I remembered that how you

17:22joined and that you were an expert at it

17:25and I was like well why don't you talk

17:27about it yeah and then at first I was a

17:30little bit anxious I was like oh man is

17:33the is the audience going to think like

17:35Sam doesn't know stuff MH I think a lot

17:38of experts have this kind of yeah

17:41but interestingly enough they loved it

17:44more and then a few other people came up

17:47and spoke and that got everyone like

17:49going and they were like clapping and

17:52right and I was like damn that's this

17:55makes it bitter mhm yeah yeah cuz in The

17:58First beginning of The Mastermind like

17:59the way you run the Mastermind I think

18:00is so sick um it's you survey the room

18:03almost and you diagnose what everyone

18:06wants to learn that weekend of the

18:08Mastermind and it was funny cuz I had my

18:11notebook out and literally like one out

18:13of every three people that went out of

18:15the everyone that was in the room I

18:15think there was like close to 100 right

18:17it was like scaling YouTube ads scaling

18:19YouTube ads scaling YouTube ads and I

18:21was like dude those three words have

18:23come up 20 times like scaling YouTube

18:26ads scaling YouTube ads so I was excited

18:28cuz I was like oh man yeah we're going

18:30to learn scaling YouTube ads cuz it was

18:32funny when you made that video um on

18:34YouTube you dropped like I'm back and

18:36then you like here's what we're going to

18:37be doing and then you mentioned YouTube

18:39ads in there so I I messed up that part

18:40of the story I forgot that but when you

18:42said YouTube ads because Facebook ads

18:45are dying they're getting worse

18:46everyone's seeing success with YouTube

18:48ads we're going to be teaching that and

18:50I was like oh like I have to join

18:52Quantum cuz like if Sam's teaching

18:54YouTube ads or he knows something about

18:55YouTube ads that I don't know like

18:57that's going to make the ROI 10 times

18:59right there because I can learn one

19:01thing and apply it to our clients at our

19:03agency and then uh and then yeah when

19:05you ask me to speak I was like d this is

19:07sick and yeah I think people liked it a

19:09lot you know what's funny about all of

19:11this

19:12like I was running quum and I could just

19:15sense that every like Facebook ads was

19:17were not working very well cuz everyone

19:19was having problems with them and I

19:21could see that some people were getting

19:23YouTube to work mhm so I was like okay

19:26YouTube is important to the ma to the

19:28master mine but I wasn't doing it so

19:32then I just made that video and I just

19:35said what I think the future of what is

19:38going to look like right I didn't

19:39necessarily say I'm the expert at all of

19:41this stuff I was like yeah you didn't

19:42yeah this is what I see the future as

19:45and YouTube ads is going to replace

19:47Facebook ads YouTube Organics is going

19:48to be the main organic thing and I

19:51wasn't like a an experted any of that

19:53but I just told the truth and what was

19:55interesting is that that got you the

19:58first thing I noticed it do cuz I went

20:00to Twitter after releasing that video

20:03and I just searched for like mentions of

20:05me to see if anyone had said and you had

20:08tweeted about it but you hadn't applied

20:10for Quantum at this point not yet no

20:12yeah yeah so my first thing was oh well

20:14this got this guy really interested

20:17because he's a

20:19YouTube expert yeah and then you ended

20:24up in Quantum and I was like oh damn

20:26like that video must have really

20:28appealed to him and then that's how I

20:31when I spotted you in the audience

20:32that's how I knew that you should come

20:33up at that moment to talk wow yeah and

20:36then when I got to that same obstacle in

20:38the course yeah I was like well I

20:40already know what to do here I've

20:41already done this trick so I did it

20:44again um and then I was like what

20:48pattern is working here I'm like okay I

20:51just say what I think the future is so I

20:54also started talking a lot about YouTube

20:56organic y mhm the more I talked about

20:58you yoube organic even though I wasn't

21:00like a complete expert at it I started

21:02attracting all of the YouTubers so we

21:05get people like Vanessa Clark um Ali

21:08abdell like all of these people that are

21:12so good at YouTube YouTube yeah like

21:14people with 3 million Subs 4 million

21:16Subs that joined and I was like well I

21:20don't even need to get really good at

21:21YouTube now because these people are so

21:24damn good yeah so there's something

21:26interesting there right like

21:29with you don't have to be the expert at

21:31everything you just have

21:34to like worry about your your community

21:37or your Mastermind or whatever know

21:40exactly what they want and be totally

21:42honest about it and even if you don't

21:44have the solution you can just say what

21:47you think it is and you start to attract

21:49those people and then you let them share

21:52yeah yeah yeah I think it's funny

21:54hearing you say it full circle now cuz

21:57at that time yeah I was like dude I'm

21:59going to learn something about YouTube

22:00ads that I don't know yet and like that

22:02attracted me same with Clark and

22:04everybody and like I have like even at

22:06that Mastermind where I spoke like o

22:09went up and spoke after me as well and

22:11he taught it he he did a visual like on

22:14the Whiteboard that really just wrapped

22:16how we approach our targeting method for

22:18our clients into a visual and I was like

22:20oh dude that's what was missing from our

22:22because we have something that's called

22:23the targeting timeline you start with

22:24this targeting first warm up the

22:26conversion actions then you start

22:27scaling more Broad right and then he did

22:29this upside down triangle and I was like

22:31oh dude that was worth it alone but to

22:33go back to your point about like

22:35the what everything you said though from

22:38that video has come true like everything

22:41the YouTube ads higher quality intent

22:43buyers and leads hands down compared to

22:46Facebook they're also a little bit more

22:47expensive but once you get YouTube ads

22:50to work as we're seeing in wibe with the

22:51clients like one guy in in wibe

22:55umh I'm going to butcher his name right

22:57now um

22:59I believe it's uh dang I have to look it

23:02up uh he he he literally in the zoom

23:05call one day with Jesse me David and and

23:07and Hower he uh asked me a question and

23:10he was like by the way just want to say

23:12thank you so much prime because I was my

23:14but my business was almost dying with

23:15Facebook ads YouTube ads has literally

23:17saved my business Facebook ads was

23:19giving us uh scaling Problems YouTube

23:22ads is giving us hiring problems we're

23:24at an 8X return on ad spin he spent like

23:2730 grand made like almost 100 Grand back

23:29like over monthly and I was like dude

23:31this is crazy anyways I say all that to

23:34say that uh that combined with the

23:36YouTube organic with the release of

23:38YouTube shorts now now all I'm seeing on

23:41on socials YouTube shorts are just

23:44getting way dialed in and it's really

23:48going to be past Tik Tok pretty soon

23:50even with Mr Beast what Mr Beast said on

23:51the the NK boys podcast the future of

23:54YouTube is so bright so like everything

23:55you said is literally coming true so

23:57just to have that intuition on your end

23:59is really really sick and then being

24:01able to leverage others expertise for

24:04the good of your community is so smart

24:07like I think that's how I think I think

24:11that's yeah just so smart it's like a

24:12master Puppeteer

24:15almost yeah the interesting thing is I

24:17was just forced into it because I didn't

24:20have enough time to like go figure

24:22everything out right well yeah I mean

24:24learning well yeah in this specific case

24:26with the YouTube ad example like yeah I

24:29mean you'd have to run the ads and then

24:30create them from scratch and then put it

24:33together you know if I had enough time I

24:34probably would have done that yeah yeah

24:37so it's like the constraint that forced

24:39me to be creative and think to you know

24:43share it with other people and then and

24:45then the wi program itself because it's

24:48not a course or coaching program which

24:50what was the the hype for like the

24:52longest time it's a mastermind which

24:55combines all the elements that we're

24:56talking about kind of back to what the

24:58iners topic we were talking about right

25:00like having the training in the

25:02classroom uh inside of school which is

25:04the course content and then you have the

25:06community inside of school which is the

25:09Mastermind effect where everyone can ask

25:10questions and collaborate and help each

25:12other out but then you also have on the

25:14calls which is the calendar you can join

25:17the calls to get support from anything

25:19that you're stuck with or just to hang

25:21out with the other members or the

25:24assisting coaches like myself and

25:26everybody you know and it's those three

25:28elements combined is what makes it truly

25:32a unique and and and really amazing

25:34product

25:35because and it's for it's a mastermind

25:38right so it's not uh you know hey you're

25:40in this for 16 weeks and then you get

25:41booted out or you have to double up or

25:43something right which gives everybody

25:46the the relief because it like you said

25:48it I remember it's like it takes like a

25:49year to make true transformation in a

25:51business and cuz like getting ads to

25:54work in 30 days is just not realistic

25:56right which is why when we talked about

25:57I was like it's going to take at least 3

25:59months to get to scale

26:00realistically um but uh what's funny is

26:04when we were making

26:06webe and I was in charge of the YouTube

26:08ads content and I was brainstorming it

26:11yeah I was just like damn dude everyone

26:13everyone kept asking me like is does it

26:16a is it a lot of pressure and I was like

26:18I mean not really because I know it so

26:21well but there is pressure because I'm

26:23trying to do it the best way possible

26:26now because I'm I'm uh I'm also

26:29constrained to the way you did it the

26:30way you the way you set up witu was so

26:32was so brilliant too because it's

26:34onepage Google doc and a loom video so

26:37it's less about the like you know

26:38hourong two hour long slide by- slide

26:40stuff it's like what's the like the car

26:43example how can you strip away the stuff

26:44that you don't even need so I Stripped

26:46Away a bunch of stuff that I was like

26:47yeah we don't even need this in here and

26:50and it's working and I was like dang

26:51this is sick so the way the course was

26:53the way the the wibe um Mastermind was

26:56constructed as well was also a

26:59breakthrough for the industry I think as

27:01well which is uh is cool to see because

27:04now everybody on Twitter uh that I know

27:08who's like 20s something or whatever

27:09they're all talking about the Google

27:10Google doc vssl which is the thing you

27:13use to launch webe and now that set the

27:16it really happening oh dude it's

27:18everywhere everyone's doing a Google doc

27:21vssl like loom video Google doc vsl like

27:24that started to Trend in itself I'm

27:26telling you from the I'm back video the

27:28YouTube ads mentioned that started to

27:30Trend because that got me into it then

27:31the YouTube organic that started to

27:32Trend and then it was the Google Doc

27:35vssl the cell webe which was like can

27:37you every it literally shifted the

27:38Paradigm of everybody like you can you

27:39can do that like no one thought you

27:41could do that now they're doing it just

27:43be direct go for it and then the way the

27:46content is constructed is changing and

27:48everyone's doing Mastermind it's it's

27:50it's sick it's sick you're starting

27:51Trends here Sam your Trends

27:54Setter Mystic Mac

27:58well it was just it was painful before

28:01like I don't know about you but making

28:02slides there's something very wrong

28:04about making slides yeah yeah it doesn't

28:07feel good when you're doing it takes a

28:09long time it kind of makes you worry

28:10about like oh like I should put a an

28:13image here or I should put and it it

28:15bloats it and it's like what are just

28:18the core bullet points yeah it and if

28:21you just if you only have one page it

28:24forces you to be like is that necessary

28:27because you have to fit everything on

28:29one page yeah and so like when and this

28:32was kind of what I was getting at with

28:34elon's first instinct to delete right

28:36when you and I were collaborating on it

28:38and you were like we were going over the

28:40structure first so I was like give me

28:43the structure like what are yeah what

28:45are the what's the minimum number of

28:47modules in what order to be profitable

28:50with YouTube ads and

28:53then you can probably remember I always

28:55was asking you make it simpler can we

28:58remove that yeah you like ooh o like

29:01everyone always makes those kind of uh

29:03like the Google analytics thing yeah I

29:05asked you you said I was like do we need

29:07Google analytics and you know what's

29:08funny is I still put it in the account

29:11setup portion

29:13but honestly yeah you don't you don't

29:16need it like so like back then I was

29:19still even like hesitant but I'm like

29:21yeah you don't need it you just need to

29:23strip down to the very bare minimum of

29:25what you need to get the result so

29:28yeah cuz that's what I found most things

29:30aren't actually needed right yeah I

29:33think I think me like you know what it

29:36this is just transparent like for that

29:37like I think it was because like there

29:39there's going to be people out there

29:40that hear that that are like you know I

29:42don't know whatever you consider them

29:43media buyers or whatever and they're

29:44going to say like oh you need Google

29:45analytics man like without Google

29:47analytics it's like well not really I

29:49mean we spend about $2 million a month

29:51on YouTube ads right now for just a

29:52handful of clients and we've never

29:54really used Google analytics looked it

29:57no it's like yeah I mean you don't need

30:00it you don't need it so no that's what

30:03happened to me I mean I had Google

30:05analytics installed for most of the

30:07years of my business life and I never

30:10looked at it and when I did I was more

30:13confused yeah you just you can just go

30:15down a rabbit hole of like what am I

30:17what am I even doing I was like what

30:18there's so much stuff in here yeah and

30:20do and you might start thinking about

30:23something else and you're like why am I

30:24even thinking about this it's like you

30:28know I learned you should wait until you

30:30have a problem and then figure out what

30:33information you need to like solve it

30:35and then go looking for the metric you

30:37don't start with all of the metric cuz

30:40then it just gives you all of these

30:42potential problems that aren't problems

30:44and then you just do you know what I'm

30:46getting at yeah yeah yeah plus it makes

30:49your page load slower Yeah the more code

30:52Snippets just makes everything slow

30:54which is the worst thing to co

30:55conversions anyways but it's you know

30:57it's always the things that people swear

30:59that you need that cuz Google analytics

31:02would have got to the point that

31:03everyone installed it on everything by

31:05default without thinking yes that's

31:07literally what happened everyone just

31:09did it and I realized that I was like

31:11wow I just put it on because I thought I

31:14had to do it because it just but I never

31:16even thought about it it became that

31:19popular right yeah and those are often

31:22the things that no

31:23one thinks to

31:25remove like do you have a Tesla

31:28no you don't no it's very interesting

31:30when you get one it's an amazing product

31:33to buy by the

31:34way because you know I always think if

31:37you want to make good products you've

31:39got to use good products the same way if

31:43you can't make good music if you don't

31:44listen to good music right yeah or you

31:46can't make good art if you don't look at

31:49good art it's like one of those input

31:51output kind of things right so like I'm

31:53always trying to use the best products

31:55and the Tesla car

31:58it's some the first experience you have

32:00with it is oh my god did they really

32:02just not have that the whole part's just

32:05not even there really yeah well there's

32:07barely any switches or buttons in the

32:09whole car it's all Consolidated onto

32:11that screen on the dashboard right yeah

32:13onto that screen because that way they

32:15can use like pixels UI instead of

32:19putting in a physical switch wow and

32:22you're like is this is every setting for

32:24the entire car really on there and you

32:26realize it really is wow and then

32:30there's just so many things that have

32:31been completely removed from the car um

32:36that it's it's

32:38like it's a new paradigm really when you

32:41when you use it and you're like oh my

32:42God that's smart or like you're driving

32:44it and the lights go on high beam and

32:47you're like where is the light switch it

32:49just does it on well there is no light

32:51button so the the lights just turn on

32:53when it's dark and they just turn off

32:55when it's um when it's daylight and then

32:58they go on high beam when there's no car

33:00and then when it sees another light

33:02another car coming it dips and then it

33:04puts them back up and you're like it's

33:06just doing all of that without you even

33:07thinking and there is no controls for

33:10that cuz the computer's like you don't

33:12need

33:13that it's really it's really interesting

33:16to use it and it it and then the iPhone

33:19did that as well right yeah like there's

33:21no buttons on it yeah it's just the

33:25screen yeah and they've kept removing

33:28pieces from it over time right and the

33:30UI too

33:33and MacBook Pro did it like they

33:36stripped the CD drive and that was

33:38controversial when they did it you

33:40remember that when they had D yeah even

33:43with this MacBook I was like where's the

33:45port for this and this other thing but

33:48it's just the well interestingly enough

33:49on the latest one they bought some stuff

33:51back yeah so like HDMI and stuff but my

33:55point I'm getting at here is like a lot

33:57of innovation comes from

34:00removing yeah so when you when we were

34:02doing the training I was like what can

34:03you cut from

34:05this and

34:07then you know that cuz that's kind of

34:10what I learned is the less Parts you

34:15have the better you can make the ones

34:17that you do have yeah CU you can always

34:20add stuff back if you need it but if you

34:22can get it constrained to the least

34:25amount and it works then that's yeah and

34:29we're seeing that which is sick what's

34:31funny about the Tesla example that you

34:32just said I think I just saw Elon Musk

34:34say something on Twitter the other day

34:36about how they just completed the first

34:38autopilot uh self-driving Tesla U I

34:41don't know if that they maybe announced

34:42that to the Tesla buyers did you hear

34:44about that I didn't hear about it but I

34:46mean I'm not like subscribed to anything

34:48so yeah so it's like I just see uh I

34:50just see the movie um iroot coming to

34:53life pretty soon like where they're just

34:55getting driven around by those super

34:56fast cars which is probably going to be

34:58Tesla soon cuz that's that's where it's

35:00going right it's like you're just going

35:01to be able to uh I mean people are

35:03already doing videos and stuff of there

35:04them playing iPhone games while they're

35:06Tesla just driving them to California or

35:08whatever from Arizona what's interesting

35:11is that is not why I wanted a Tesla at

35:13all yeah like not the self-driving yeah

35:16just because of the product and how and

35:17and and the the quality there was there

35:21was if

35:22I'm there's probably three criteria that

35:26I would use to find a car

35:28like performance cuz I like going fast

35:32it's just really fun yeah but the

35:35problem with performance usually is that

35:37you you trade off safety so like you

35:40know a fast car like a Ferrari or a

35:42Porsche or something it's generally real

35:44small and if you get and La is really

35:47dangerous and everyone drives SUVs here

35:50they're texting they're probably stoned

35:51right so like yeah so like I'm not going

35:54to drive something like that because you

35:57could die right yeah and it's not that

35:59comfortable either like they don't seem

36:01that comfortable yeah and it's kind of

36:03showy right yeah you're going to get

36:05yeah you're going to always have look at

36:07me I'm rich you have to be worried about

36:08it too and yeah where you park and stuff

36:11but what blew my mind about the Tesla

36:13was faster than the fastest like Ferrari

36:16M but it was the safest car in the world

36:20at the same time wow and it was four

36:22doors and it had more like trunk space

36:26so it had it was just pure very usable

36:29very safe and extremely fast and it

36:32looked good yeah and it was a decent

36:34price and I was like it won actually the

36:37award for like the best car the model S

36:41won the best car of all time damn all

36:44time yeah what was like the uh the who

36:48who gave out that award like um one of

36:52those it must be a magazine or a show

36:55it's like Auto something it's like the

36:58one that gives those it's pretty respect

37:01the best car of all time it really is if

37:05you're like purely

37:06like or at least the best car since Like

37:10the Model T Ford right cuz if you look

37:12at Innovation I mean typically people

37:16win on one vector like how do we make

37:19the fastest car in the world and you get

37:21someone making something ridiculous like

37:22the buetti veyon yeah right but now it's

37:25$3 million and now it's not

37:28practical and now it's

37:32dangerous so to win on multiple vectors

37:35at once that means that you've changed

37:37the Paradigm completely right so how do

37:41you make a car the safest and the and

37:44faster than the fastest and

37:46affordable and usable it means that you

37:49can't do it using any of the old ways

37:51you can't just put crazy engines in it

37:53and remove all the seats and yeah so

37:56like the amount of engineering work they

37:58had to do like you know it doesn't have

38:00a gear box for example it's just one

38:04speed like one gear really yeah oh wow

38:08you know how that you know how gears

38:09work and yeah so because of because the

38:12electric motor can go up to something

38:14like 20,000

38:17RPM it it doesn't need cuz you know a a

38:21piston driven engine can only go up to

38:24say like 6,000 RPM or something

38:27that means that it has to change up

38:29gears to be able to go faster and faster

38:32and faster right yeah whereas the

38:34electronic the electric engine can just

38:36take it the whole way there with one

38:38gear so it means it doesn't need a

38:40gearbox damn yeah and so like there's

38:45all of these interesting things about it

38:49um and it's it's just like really I

38:51don't know if you like engineering or

38:54products yeah it's really

38:57quite a it is like the iPhone but with a

39:01car if you think about what the iPhone

39:03did for phones that's really what the

39:05Tesla did to cars and now everyone is

39:08forced to follow them yeah yeah and like

39:12I mean I think

39:13eventually it's probably going to not

39:16maybe in the next five years but it's

39:17like I think eventually the Tesla will

39:20at least if not I think it has it's

39:21honestly going to be the Tesla will

39:23become the standard car that you like

39:24almost have to drive for safety reasons

39:26too um it's almost going to be more

39:29dangerous to drive on your own versus

39:32like a Tesla I think but what's funny

39:34about the iPhone example too is uh did

39:37you we keep talking about Elon Musk and

39:39stuff but uh he's he's thinking about

39:42well there's rumors that he's thinking

39:44about doing a whole new phone to compete

39:46with apple oh really because of the the

39:48um the they stopped advertising on

39:51Twitter Apple did because of the whole

39:53like politic dude he's going to choose

39:54too many BOS you think so yeah well I

39:57mean you know there's a limit yeah he

40:00does keep pushing it though so it's hard

40:02to doubt him but I mean you know how

40:05many fronts can you compare you got the

40:06SpaceX right Tesla now you got Twitter

40:10there's neuralink there's those tunnels

40:12that he's apparently building wow yeah

40:14yeah those all get lost in the sauce and

40:16now there's Twitter which seems to be

40:18taking up a lot of his time yeah that's

40:19taking up the majority now iPhone

40:22iPhone's on version 14

40:25man they R&D Department probably on

40:27version

40:2920 yeah no they have yeah

40:34there's that's

40:37yeah yeah I I I literally just thinking

40:40about that and saying it out loud I just

40:42can't I would have never thought about

40:44anyone competing with the iPhone or even

40:46buying another phone like that thought

40:48never considered in my head because this

40:50is theault now you know like we were

40:52talking about earlier this is like

40:53default like I just can't think of any

40:55other phone MacBook same thing it's just

40:58Apple yeah well if someone does beat it

41:00it will be a different like Paradigm

41:03right just like what they did cuz

41:04Blackberry was the the one before that

41:07right yep yeah Blackberry was the one

41:10that everyone was hyped about and it was

41:11fascinating how they bit Blackberry

41:13because black blackberry's application

41:15developers were all inhouse I think they

41:18had about 10,000 employees that were

41:20just building apps for Blackberry wow

41:23but Apple like said to all app

41:27developers in the world you can build

41:29for this so like they had something like

41:3110 million developers so it was like

41:3410,000 ver 10 million and it was the

41:36richness of all of the apps that were

41:39available that made the utility of the

41:42iPhone so and jux deposed compared to

41:45the the Blackberry that yeah that's

41:48another like I love like studying those

41:51those big revolutionary products so like

41:56what the internet did or like what the

41:59computer did or what the first the

42:02iPhone did um and then what the Tesla

42:07did because all of those are like the

42:09products you know what I mean the ones

42:11that set the tone the one that change

42:13the trends of the world and the culture

42:15yeah well Google's another one I mean

42:17social media you could say is another

42:18one yeah like Myspace was and then

42:21Facebook just took

42:25over yeah yeah there's only so many of

42:28those ones those like products so that's

42:30why I like to kind of study them and

42:35yeah but what have you been working on

42:38yeah so we uh we actually just launched

42:40our our Mastermind for agency owners

42:42media buyers and Freelancers to teach

42:44them how to scale with YouTube ads um

42:46the reason why is because there's just

42:48so many people that always apply to work

42:49with us as our agency to to get us to

42:52run their ads for them um but we we

42:55we're more of a boutique style agency

42:56now where like we take on a certain

42:59amount of clients at a time we also

43:01charge a high retainer plus percentage

43:03of net profit to make it fair for the

43:05client um and to keep us incentivized to

43:07scale right so as opposed to getting 100

43:10clients 200 clients right like most

43:12agencies end up doing which isn't bad

43:13but I've always wanted what's I've

43:17always wanted to to work closely with

43:18the client because I believe in the

43:20mission that they're doing which is why

43:21I work with them in the first place and

43:23then help them scale but the only way to

43:24do that is if I work with less clients

43:26and have a percentage of The Upside too

43:28so we do net profit but anyways I say

43:30all that to say that we have a lot of

43:31people that apply to work with us and

43:34they're it they never they always want

43:37done for you they want someone to help

43:39them run the ads because they don't want

43:40to do it they don't want to learn it um

43:42most of the time right there's all these

43:44people that want to learn it too but the

43:46reason why we launched this Mastermind

43:47is because there's just such an

43:49opportunity to teach what we do to a lot

43:52of other agency owners Freelancers and

43:55media buyers who want learn that skill

43:58which is YouTube ads which is quickly

44:00taking over Facebook like we already

44:02talked about so that we can then you

44:04know refer them to business owners that

44:07aren't a good fit for us or just simply

44:09we can't help um so my team and I have

44:11been working on that and uh that's been

44:14fun we just finished the beta finishes

44:16this week actually uh and then next week

44:18is when the second wave comes through

44:20and uh is this like front end Mastermind

44:23or back end with front end okay so no in

44:25person uh no in person no got it but

44:27annual price uh it's yeah yeah yeah 9800

44:30for the year yeah nice and it's for who

44:34business owners or agency owners

44:36Freelancers and media

44:38buyers and it teaches them how to to run

44:42YouTube ads profitably and then charge

44:44business owners to be able to sell it as

44:45a service got it and then you're helping

44:48place them with businesses that want

44:51them out we refer them out yeah what's

44:53interesting though is and I

44:54think it I've I've talked to my about

44:57this too I feel like we've almost

44:58created a hybrid of a back end and a

45:00front end because if you think about it

45:03I think where I might have rushed things

45:05a little bit is where I was like okay

45:08because the admin Mastermind like I've

45:10gotten so many compliments on The

45:11Branding and the marketing behind it but

45:13what I think we might end up doing in

45:15the future is it's I think it really is

45:18like sort of a hybrid between a front

45:19end and a m and a backend

45:22because I think for a front end

45:25Mastermind what would have been a better

45:27Mastermind would have been teaching the

45:31um you know like the beginner how to be

45:33a YouTube ads media buyer right but what

45:36we've done is we've gone after the lower

45:38hanging fruit that we know we can help

45:40immediately is people that have already

45:42have the experience and said some

45:44experience at least right they're not

45:46total beginners they have some they're

45:47at least making 5K a month right and

45:49then we say we're going to teach you how

45:50to charge this price and we're going to

45:52teach you how to run this skill and then

45:54we're going to teach you how to get

45:54clients like we do and then we're going

45:56to help you SC to this amount right so

45:58it's like not necessarily a total

46:00beginner front in like how to go from 0

46:02to one it's more like 1 to 10 but I'm

46:06sharing that because it's like I think

46:08about it too it's like maybe we should

46:10have done the media how to become a

46:11YouTube ass media buyer as a mastermind

46:13first and then how to go from immediate

46:15buyer to an agency owner as the back end

46:17you know there's always room for like

46:20back end you know

46:23like

46:25you you think right now that you might

46:27have done it but you could there will be

46:30another level for sure like I could

46:32create a backend Mastermind off of

46:34quantum which is already a back in

46:35master M right you can probably see how

46:38that would work there's like a certain

46:39number of people in there that are at a

46:42really high level right that would

46:44probably buy it so like but I don't want

46:47to have another product yeah so like

46:49there's always more levels well that's

46:51that's where we're at now so it's funny

46:54man because the biggest bottleneck that

46:56I think we have right now and this is

46:57more my fault than anything is uh is the

47:00focus like the focus is a huge thing so

47:04it's funny because ever since we

47:05launched this this Mastermind and we

47:07love dude I love I love helping the

47:09clients that are inside of it we've just

47:11had an influx of amazing clients for the

47:13agency that all want to pay us they're

47:16happy with the price they want us to to

47:19to help them scale their business and

47:21we're making money you know with the

47:24agency where it's like this is a big

47:25opportunity right now if we just double

47:27down on the clients we have and help

47:29them with not just generating the leads

47:31but obviously improving our service

47:33where it's and client experience where

47:35it's okay now we're going to help now we

47:37have to help level them up uh and us

47:39have to level up by helping them with

47:41you know obviously not just the ads

47:42because that's just one thing but the

47:44nurturing process of the leads we're

47:45driving because most of these Mo I mean

47:48you at the last Mastermind you heard

47:49Cole Gordon talk about the appointment

47:50heads and everything right like most of

47:52the clients they don't really have that

47:53sales process and team structure and

47:55management down so I'm taking what I'm

47:58learning from Cole and applying it to

47:59their businesses now and helping them

48:01because if the leads don't close that we

48:03drive it you know they're not going to

48:05continue paying us because it doesn't

48:06matter how much traffic we drive if the

48:08leads aren't converting to calls the

48:10calls aren't

48:11closing what you're doing what every

48:14agency owner and consultant ends up

48:16doing which is you know you think you do

48:18one thing but then you realize that the

48:21customer never just wants ads they want

48:25profit yeah and that means and they're

48:27doing all of these other things poorly

48:28so you have to end up right essentially

48:31becoming a growth partner for them right

48:32like we don't basically owning the

48:35business like yeah becoming a partner

48:37right becoming something and I think

48:39that that's where I'm I'm that's what's

48:42funny when you ask me like what I'm

48:43working on right now it's like juggling

48:44the two and then on we top that I have

48:47we tube too right so it's like but the

48:50those are all it's a great position to

48:53be in as well because it's really giving

48:55me experience about like okay

48:57how can I uh how can I strip away some

49:01things that maybe like we're talking

49:03about earlier aren't as necessary um and

49:05focus on the things that are because

49:08I've always loved I really have loved

49:11the agency for the simple fact of being

49:14able to work with clients and really get

49:16their business to scale but the problem

49:17was when it doesn't work it's a it's a

49:19pain in the ass man because it doesn't

49:21work but it's not because you don't do

49:23your job it's because of these things

49:24we're talking about now the lead

49:26nurturing it's funny I was on the way

49:28here the Wi-Fi didn't work on the plane

49:30so I was just totally just uh like in in

49:32a meditative state but I what I do on

49:34the plane is I go through my phone my

49:37pictures I just scroll through pictures

49:38and I just look at like pictures and I

49:40get a lot of ideas of insights and I saw

49:43a text message that I had with Frank

49:44Kern about a year ago this was when

49:46Frank and I were texting because he had

49:48his um R as.org

49:50agency he was doing leg gen uh and we

49:54were talking back and forth and he was

49:57like no I'm switching I'm switching to

49:59Le and I'm doing uh email marketing now

50:01cuz the money's in the followup anyways

50:03he's like most of the time 99% of the

50:05way to get clients results that are an

50:07agency are fixing the follow-up process

50:09and I was like interesting and I looked

50:11at that this on the way here and I was

50:13like this is what we've been missing

50:15from the agency and this is how we

50:17Ascend to helping our clients make

50:19instead of just getting paid x amount we

50:22can make this amount like almost three

50:23to five times more with one client if we

50:25just fix these other issues

50:27so anyways I say all that to say that uh

50:29it's fun because it's allowing me to

50:31deploy everything I've learned from

50:33masterminds and programs into the

50:35client's businesses if they don't have

50:37it already like almost like a consultant

50:40but with that

50:42um you know it's just like the guy who

50:45chases two rabbits catches none right so

50:48what what caused the surge in the agency

50:52what caused the surge in the agency

50:53that's a good question I think I think

50:55it was the compound effect of everything

50:58that's H all the momentum we've had as a

51:01I've personally had as a brand as well I

51:03mean obviously the wi partnership with

51:05you really helped um just to get the

51:07exposure of adsp spin.com even more than

51:09what it what what already was but it was

51:11also the shift of the offer that we had

51:13before our offer was typical you know

51:17we'll help you scale your utbe ads it'll

51:18be flat fee and you know there there's

51:21no guarantee there's no like determined

51:22result it was just like a service but

51:25what we've stumbled upon after just

51:27Consulting with a few other people too

51:29was like we we actually have a

51:31no-brainer offer now where you know we

51:33we take so our pricing is high high fee

51:38right High retainer fee but we don't

51:40charge you the fee unless we make back

51:41the ad spend plus our fee in the 30-day

51:44window so there's no risk to you

51:46necessarily there's a lot less risk

51:47right on top of that we don't take a

51:49percentage of net profit and net profit

51:51is defined as Revenue that we help you

51:53generate specifically from our campaigns

51:55nothing else right so is all trackable

51:57by hyos so all the campaigns that we set

51:59up for your business with ads they're

52:02trackable on hyros so it's ads spin.com

52:04named all that Revenue gets minused by

52:07the ad spend that you put up as the

52:08client and then you minus the sales

52:10team's commissions because you got to

52:12have sales people to close the deals and

52:13then you minus our fee that's net profit

52:17but we don't take net profit until we

52:18make you at least 100 Grand in net

52:20profit so you can see how we're really

52:21incentivized to number one work with

52:23clients that are ready to scale and

52:25number two we want to work with clients

52:27that we can scale and make a lot of

52:29money so that they have no problem

52:31paying us you know that 10K plus the 10%

52:34so we make it a no does that make sense

52:36yeah so it's it's it's really fair for

52:39the client which makes it fair literally

52:43I'm clo I mean when we get on a client

52:45call with this offer it's it's like it's

52:48a 90% close rate so we have to be picky

52:50about who we work with now which is why

52:52we have a weight list and we only work

52:54with clients that are like you know in

52:56quantum like CO's Mastermind and clients

52:58that are really ready to

52:59scale yeah you can really I mean you

53:01should just choose how many clients do

53:03you want 10 that's what you want yeah 10

53:05clients and and we want to make an

53:07average of you know uh right now it's

53:10like the goal is to get everybody from

53:11to make an average of 30k a month per

53:13client which means we have to add all

53:15these different things into there uh to

53:17give them for resources right and then

53:20we have the Mastermind like that's

53:21that's my end goal right agency still

53:23and we take we take everything we're

53:24we're doing for our clients and learning

53:26for our clients and we share it with the

53:29Mastermind but I'm at a point now where

53:31I have agency uh admin Mastermind and

53:35then weu but I'm like

53:38man yeah like how do we simplify it so I

53:41just have uh the I think the biggest

53:44thing that I'm because like thinking

53:45about adding a a front end and then

53:47adding a back end is just too much right

53:48now oh yeah yeah so it's like making the

53:51Mastermind sweet enough to where we just

53:53take everything from the agency and we

53:55share it with the Mastermind

53:57and uh and I really just want to have

53:58those two things cuz that's that's

54:00doable and that's fun for me because

54:02then I get to teach here and not just

54:06do well that it sounds like it's already

54:10solved yeah what's the problem I guess

54:13the problem is is

54:17um what's interesting the the problem is

54:20the the it's always the thought of like

54:24well so there's people that come to work

54:27with us and they're not ready for our

54:30done for you right they're not ready for

54:31our agency but they want to learn how to

54:33run YouTube ads on their own still but

54:35like we don't I push them the wi tube or

54:38we don't sell them anymore so it's like

54:41do we just teach agency owners media

54:42buyers and Freelancers what if we had in

54:45school in the classroom section instead

54:47of just the week one week two week three

54:49week four week five you know content

54:52what if we had a section just for

54:54YouTube ads and then what if we had a

54:56module just for agency owners on how to

54:59get clients and sell it as a service and

55:01then what if we had a section for uh

55:04coaches course creators and consultants

55:06and on on vssl funnels and and low

55:08ticket info

55:10products then it kind of that's IDE I've

55:13been idea I've been playing with because

55:14it's like we could kind of service both

55:18but then it creates the issue of the two

55:20different types of avatars you have the

55:22coaches consultants and course creators

55:24and then you have the agency owners

55:27does that work I mean I've seen it work

55:30in other masterminds well aren't you

55:32didn't you join Quantum as an agency

55:34owner

55:35yeah yeah yeah I mean that's kind of the

55:38progression path right like you're like

55:44student like

55:46freelancer agency yeah you max out y

55:50everyone wants to learn from you but you

55:52can't work with them course High ticket

55:56Mastermind right yeah um it's natural

56:01and so there's always going to be a

56:02blend I'm pretty sure in Quantum there's

56:03still some agency owners yeah yeah um

56:07Nico I know he's in there there a lot of

56:09other people so I think they mix quite

56:12well yeah I guess I mean I used to have

56:14an agency for example yeah yeah yeah

56:17like a lot of the info people probably

56:19had agencies or or they were Freelancers

56:22so like they're totally going to be cool

56:25with that person being there you know

56:28that's in the simplest way that's how I

56:30want it structured because thinking

56:32about having another thing just doesn't

56:34it's just not going to make sense like I

56:37want the the opportunity with the agen

56:39like I I've the agency I've always told

56:41my team this too like cuz dude it's

56:43funny like everybody thinks The Grass Is

56:45Always Green on the other side right

56:46like the and and to some to some extent

56:49it can be but I've always seen the

56:52agency as one of the

56:55uh best best business models to start

56:57with just like obviously why you started

56:59with too because it provides the cash

57:01flow but also you get to learn by doing

57:04and mastering and getting the results

57:07and then I've saw the next Ascension as

57:08the education so in an Ideal World right

57:12we have the Mastermind the admin

57:14Mastermind for anyone who's running and

57:15wants to scale with ads and it's we're

57:18teaching everything we're doing for our

57:19clients which won't just be um YouTube

57:23ads because as ads spin.com is not a

57:25YouTube B agency it has been to get us

57:28off the ground but aspen.com is going to

57:30be essentially like the next digital

57:31marketer like you know digital marketer

57:33they have they're an education company

57:35but they have certification programs

57:37right but we're going to be an agency

57:39and and an education company but just

57:41with the agency boutique style less

57:43clients capit lean team High profit

57:46margins uh also High Touch where they

57:49get to uh still have my time and

57:51attention and then I have the Mastermind

57:53where we get to have fun and share and

57:55community

57:56and and and really create the marketing

57:58content

57:59so yeah it's just it's just playing

58:02chess with all the pieces we have right

58:03now because we still have our our

58:06coaching program that we tried to do

58:08when we first joined Quantum and we have

58:10like about 40 people in there but I just

58:12want to combine them oh yeah I that's

58:14what you got to start doing

58:15consolidating yeah and deleting

58:18literally I literally just want to in my

58:20head I'm like we just got to combine

58:22them guys and everybody gets in one

58:25school group we have two calls a week

58:26the classroom gets broken out into

58:28modules for the specific types of people

58:30and then and then we have and then

58:33that's

58:34it yeah so that's what we're doing yeah

58:39now that's what that's the fun part I

58:42think like you know in the beginning

58:44like nothing works and it's it's

58:48quite you know you you're just trying to

58:52find something that works right but you

58:53get to a point where to many things work

58:57yeah and you don't have any time yep and

59:00there's even a million other things you

59:02could do that would also work right so

59:06like then it just becomes a game of like

59:09it's a totally different game then it's

59:11it's like you there is an optim there

59:14are optimal moves to make that will get

59:16you further but they

59:18require not doing things yeah yeah so

59:22let me ask you this right because one

59:24thing I literally had a call call with

59:25my team on Monday of this week and have

59:30you ever taken the 16 personalities test

59:32the Myers Briggs one yeah of course um

59:36so I'm I'm a they I took the test I've

59:39taken it four times now actually I

59:40wonder if I can guess what you are take

59:42a

59:45guess it's probably obvious with what I

59:47just

59:48shared a

59:50in yeah if yeah NFP yeah yeah okay

59:57campaigner so it's funny because when I

1:00:00read it again literally this weekend it

1:00:03was just so spoton but the question I

1:00:05want to ask you is be like how how how

1:00:07much do you pay attention to that and

1:00:09then number two the things that they say

1:00:12you're weak on right in that personality

1:00:14test do you you have what's your take on

1:00:18improving those or simply focusing more

1:00:21on the strengths so for example for

1:00:23context right campaigners enfps uh like

1:00:27super uh you know I don't know what the

1:00:30super my strengths are I really get

1:00:34inspired and I really just I I do

1:00:35Sprints right when I get inspired on

1:00:37something and I get an idea I want to

1:00:38make it happen now I go do it like the

1:00:40admin Master man I had the idea had The

1:00:42Branding had the concept I was like oh

1:00:43we're going to do it and we launched it

1:00:44and it was a success but the problem is

1:00:47the focus on the follow through once the

1:00:49inspiration wears off a little bit right

1:00:52and that's something that I've seen

1:00:53happen in my life plenty of times with

1:00:56ideas and then I act on them and then I

1:00:58don't follow them through uh as long as

1:01:01I saw for as long as I need to for the

1:01:03for the end goal of the vision if that

1:01:05makes sense but then my strengths are

1:01:07really good I can come up with ideas I'm

1:01:09really creative I have the the personal

1:01:12uh brand I guess in terms of like the

1:01:14communication and being a leader and and

1:01:16saying guys we're going to come do this

1:01:18come join me I'm going to I'm like let's

1:01:19go do this um so my question really is

1:01:22like for you have you ever like paid

1:01:24attention to those to where you're

1:01:25thinking like

1:01:26well I got to work on these weaknesses

1:01:28or are you more of like let me just have

1:01:30someone who can help me with these

1:01:31weakness focus on these weaknesses so I

1:01:33can just focus on my strengths does that

1:01:35make sense it makes sense um so you

1:01:38definitely need to be aware of them yeah

1:01:40and your business and your strategy and

1:01:43everything that you're doing should be

1:01:44aligned to your strengths right just

1:01:48like me I'm an

1:01:49inj which is the is that so your

1:01:52extrovert so the eii is so int introvert

1:01:56oh so e and okay yeah and then n and s

1:01:59means like Intuition or like rules so

1:02:04you're more you're the intuition same

1:02:06with me so we're the same on that we're

1:02:07opposite on the E I then the um f and T

1:02:14is feeling and thinking do you feel your

1:02:17way through choices or do you think so

1:02:20I'm hard jammed on T I'm like 98% T I

1:02:23could tell you were an F really yeah

1:02:26I can just tell um

1:02:29and then the last one J or p is like do

1:02:33you are you good at planning and

1:02:35structuring and scheduling

1:02:39and and organizing or do you prefer to

1:02:41just kind of just let it go so you're a

1:02:45p that means you prefer to let it go

1:02:47yeah so you're just like you probably

1:02:48would like to not have a plan for next

1:02:51week yeah well that's the funny part man

1:02:54because I always always I always want to

1:02:57structure things because I feel like

1:02:59some things aren't structured as much as

1:03:01they need to be for my life but then

1:03:03when they're too structured or too

1:03:04routine I just want to go to the

1:03:06beach and like dude I just need to get

1:03:07out and like go go go get into my gut

1:03:09and go feel yeah so you you should play

1:03:11the your strengths which would be like

1:03:14interaction with people that's extra

1:03:16version you need to have interaction

1:03:17with people you're never going to be

1:03:19happy just analyzing a Google sheet

1:03:20right yeah you need to be creative

1:03:23that's the end yep you need to um

1:03:27feeling is important to you which is

1:03:28probably why you like video yeah cuz it

1:03:30is a very high bandwidth channel of

1:03:34communication that carries emotion

1:03:37unlike a lot of text and stuff it's it

1:03:39is about emotion yeah and

1:03:42then the the thing I think you'd have to

1:03:45worry about them you just worry about

1:03:47the opposite side so we almost have like

1:03:50opposite sides but like someone that is

1:03:54too extroverted probably isn't paying

1:03:56attention to the details yeah but

1:03:58someone that's too introverted probably

1:03:59isn't getting out there enough right and

1:04:02then intuition someone that's too like s

1:04:05means they're probably not creative

1:04:06enough too creative means that

1:04:10operations are probably yeah falling

1:04:12apart right cuz things are just constant

1:04:14creation then there's just that

1:04:16needs to be done day in day out that the

1:04:18the creative person was terrible at yeah

1:04:21feeling and thinking I mean thinking is

1:04:23really great at logic and structure and

1:04:26math and all of that and strategy but

1:04:29too much of that and people don't

1:04:30connect with what you're doing yeah so

1:04:33too much T and

1:04:35like it's soulless kind of in a way too

1:04:38much effort it's often lacking some of

1:04:40that logic or thought you know what I

1:04:42mean and then the last one just PJ it's

1:04:45more

1:04:46like you know I've I used to actually

1:04:50get a p and then The more I've been in

1:04:53business and I'm like a so I have to

1:04:56schedule and plan and do all of this

1:04:58I've had to train that muscle and in

1:05:01recent years I actually check it again

1:05:03and it's it's coming up J wow so I would

1:05:07just understand that first and then look

1:05:09at your business and think where where

1:05:12are my like where is my

1:05:15personality blocking us right mhm and

1:05:19you you should also play your strengths

1:05:20I'm never going to be a stage speaker

1:05:23because I'm introverted right like that

1:05:26ain't happening but you're also going

1:05:28out and and doing more like inperson

1:05:30stuff right for school so you're you're

1:05:32also training it right now in a way

1:05:34right to get out of your comfort Z the

1:05:36hard part right so like I'm playing to

1:05:39my strengths because I'm building a

1:05:41software platform which is what I'm it's

1:05:44behind the scenes and analytical and

1:05:47everything right

1:05:48mhm however I also need to be aware of

1:05:53the fact that I would like to just hide

1:05:55m but I need to get out there too people

1:05:57need to find out about school so I have

1:05:59to also get outside of my comfort zone

1:06:01so that's what I'm getting at here your

1:06:03business should play to your strengths

1:06:05but you have to be mindful

1:06:08of you can't just purely play to your

1:06:10strengths you also have to like cover

1:06:12your weaknesses yeah and you should also

1:06:16bring in people around you to cover

1:06:18those areas yeah what's funny is um one

1:06:21of my first hires uh is is Nick uh Nick

1:06:24Rondo he he's I actually him in college

1:06:26and he's literally the I I um he's um

1:06:31Commander it's it's the i group I forget

1:06:33what his exactly is but he's very uh

1:06:37much involved in the oper like he's

1:06:40liter the operations now for he he has

1:06:42pretty much always been operations but

1:06:44uh like recently after doing that test

1:06:46again this weekend I'm like it finally

1:06:49clicked I was like dude Brian you cannot

1:06:51be trying to be the operations as much

1:06:55as you would you need to have the ideas

1:06:56of how to improve the operations give

1:06:58those to Nick and Nick's in charge of

1:07:00seeing those projects through to improve

1:07:01the operations so it's funny because it

1:07:03took me almost two and a half years to

1:07:05get to this point to finally have that

1:07:06realization but he's always been that

1:07:08he's always been the one to do the

1:07:09spreadsheets and and the and like the

1:07:11you know management of GC basically

1:07:14literally yeah but but it finally

1:07:15clicked this weekend where I'm like no

1:07:17that's Nick like Nick it's like you do

1:07:20this Brian and Nick does this and what I

1:07:23think that I need to improve on per for

1:07:25what you just said too is like what what

1:07:28Nick and I uh sometimes uh like discuss

1:07:32and have different opinions on is like

1:07:35certain elements of the the service when

1:07:38it comes to the client experience or the

1:07:40product and I think about it because I'm

1:07:43I'm the creative and I have the vision

1:07:45and I and like the things that sometimes

1:07:46we suggest are different from one

1:07:48another because it's operations versus

1:07:50marketing and then fulfillment right um

1:07:53anyways I say all that to say that

1:07:56uh I've what I think I need to work

1:07:59better on like you're doing is the P

1:08:02aspect when it comes to the strategic

1:08:04planning because I've sort of honestly

1:08:08adopted that from you with the war map

1:08:10once I remember when I had that when I

1:08:12was on The Daily huddle with you and I

1:08:14was like and I shut

1:08:17you we were on the daily huddle for the

1:08:20weed tube call it was me you Jesse Hower

1:08:22David Dre and uh you got on and then we

1:08:25were talking about the remarkable I was

1:08:27asking like have you guys ever uh used

1:08:29the remarkable and we watched the vssl

1:08:31together we all they're like damn that

1:08:33looks pretty sick dude and I was like

1:08:34yeah I'm gonna get it dude and then uh

1:08:36you're like yeah it's just why and I was

1:08:40like well I think it'd be pretty cool I

1:08:41could put my schedule in there I can

1:08:43have all this and you're like yeah but

1:08:46why and I was like I mean I don't know

1:08:48he's like dude I just you're like I just

1:08:50use the war map and then my notepad and

1:08:53I'm like really you're like yeah I

1:08:55literally just just plan everything here

1:08:56and then I write down what I got to do

1:08:57on my notepad and but I live on the war

1:08:59map I was like oh and then I I didn't

1:09:03buy it and then ever since then I've

1:09:04been using the war map but it's so

1:09:07crucial for for planning things cuz I

1:09:09mapped out the whole launch of admin I

1:09:11mapped out the whole promo like you did

1:09:13for we and I was like dude we need to do

1:09:15this we need to have an adp.com War map

1:09:17a company calendar War map and so

1:09:20anyways I say that to say that I think

1:09:22that that's one thing I should work on

1:09:25as an ENFP is leaning more into training

1:09:28that that strategic planning

1:09:31muscle yes especially if you're going to

1:09:33be the CEO yeah cuz you just have to be

1:09:35like you have to think ahead cuz

1:09:37everyone relies on you to do that that's

1:09:40like your job right you have to know

1:09:42yeah and the more the better I've gotten

1:09:44and The more I've

1:09:46been like the more intricate my

1:09:50organization that I'm building the

1:09:52further out I have to think and plan and

1:09:55it's hard to like I was telling you the

1:09:56R&D department for the iPhone is

1:09:59probably three four versions ahead right

1:10:01yeah they would have probably already

1:10:03prototyped and their testing the next

1:10:06iPhone like that's how can you imag do

1:10:09you know how like they've probably

1:10:10sourcing the raw materials they're

1:10:12probably negotiating different like mine

1:10:15deposits in the Congo for like for

1:10:19different raw medals that are necessary

1:10:22for the three iPhones ahead right like

1:10:25you just just can't have a massive

1:10:26operation without a lot of like thinking

1:10:29into the future and planning and

1:10:31organizing because you just don't make

1:10:34things like the iPhone or the Tesla just

1:10:36winging it like what are we doing

1:10:37tomorrow I don't know

1:10:40like it just doesn't happen yeah so as

1:10:44the CEO you need to get good at that but

1:10:48yeah getting an operator 100% cuz you

1:10:51that person should get good at that yeah

1:10:53and then you should lean into your which

1:10:55is the creative expression which is like

1:10:58videos which is why you're getting into

1:11:00YouTube organic I guess and you're

1:11:02vlogging yeah I'm going to be vlogging

1:11:04the whole weekend at cool stuff this

1:11:05weekend and people love that man and

1:11:07that's what I love doing too it's like

1:11:09I'm out in my zone with everyone that

1:11:11I'm at friends with or I know and I'm

1:11:13I'm collaborating and I'm getting to

1:11:15meet but then I'm also creating a

1:11:17Content piece from it which is the best

1:11:18of both worlds that gets the best part

1:11:21about this for me with this Vlog style

1:11:24kind of value based content organic that

1:11:26I've done with with Quantum obviously

1:11:28that people love is I I'll always get to

1:11:31be able to look back at that when I'm

1:11:33older and go relive it which I think is

1:11:35the best part dude I watch your video of

1:11:37my

1:11:38event like the day after my event really

1:11:42yeah yeah yeah we uploaded it the next

1:11:43day and I was like this is pretty cool

1:11:45this looks pretty cool and it was my

1:11:47event I was there but it like captured a

1:11:50lot of the the vibe yeah yeah that's

1:11:54that you just

1:11:56people don't know what goes on in that

1:11:58room but like when I was watching it in

1:11:59that video I was like damn that looks

1:12:01pretty cool yeah I had a bunch of people

1:12:03reach out to me uh they they probably

1:12:06they were all saying like dude I want to

1:12:07join Quantum I want to join Quantum so

1:12:09it kind of It kind of kills two birds of

1:12:10one stone for for me and for the The

1:12:12Mastermind host in this case you right

1:12:14it was like they get to see what it's

1:12:16like to be a part of the Mastermind and

1:12:19they get to see the quality of people in

1:12:20the room and how much more of a I guess

1:12:23like a family almost is a community it

1:12:25is and they want to be a part of it cuz

1:12:27you're showing them the behind the

1:12:29scenes and you're good at that because

1:12:30of your extra version in your feeling

1:12:34yeah so you're picking up on the vibe

1:12:36which is like the part that I'm fully

1:12:40it's there but I miss it and I don't

1:12:42know how to translate it properly cuz my

1:12:43senses aren't as strong as yours on that

1:12:46area right so that's how you can pick up

1:12:49a different you can pick up more feeling

1:12:52yeah exactly that's what you do I I

1:12:54literally I'm I really can I can can

1:12:57really tell how someone's feeling and I

1:12:58I always try to um I just know how I

1:13:02think I'm really good at being able to

1:13:04like know when to uh I guess I don't

1:13:07know do certain things or say certain

1:13:08things or not do certain things or say

1:13:09certain things because I always have the

1:13:12person's feeling in mind how are they

1:13:14going to react to this and that's how

1:13:15I've been able to really do well with

1:13:17just being someone who's um I guess

1:13:20positioned himself well because I I

1:13:21really want to be someone that is adding

1:13:23value and just not being a to you know I

1:13:25don't know whatever but yeah being able

1:13:27to put the vibe into a video yeah that's

1:13:29that's your strength well you know

1:13:31what's funny was in in high school I

1:13:33used I used to make my own rap music I

1:13:35used to call myself B Money be money I

1:13:38was trying to think of a rap name and in

1:13:39my first you should still cool yourself

1:13:42it fits man like yeah B right for Brian

1:13:45and then m o is my last mon m o and I

1:13:48was like was what can I name myself be

1:13:51money but I share that because yeah I

1:13:54had like my own Studio in my my closet

1:13:56at my parents house I had my friends

1:13:57come over and record songs and I would

1:13:59audio engineer for them and uh and then

1:14:02we made like we made music videos and

1:14:04stuff like they're deep on YouTube if

1:14:06someone finds them that'd be it's it's

1:14:08the same thing it's expression of

1:14:09emotion and so now not music is and now

1:14:12I'm able to create my new style of music

1:14:15videos and and music through video with

1:14:19YouTube and what I'm doing in my normal

1:14:21life like I it's almost like every video

1:14:23for like the Vlog style that I did for

1:14:25for Quantum like that's what I really

1:14:29love creating because that's what

1:14:31creates the best content that I would

1:14:33want to personally watch as a viewer

1:14:35which is why this podcast just the same

1:14:36thing right like being able to to

1:14:39hear the insides of of the people that

1:14:43you that you watch or that you follow

1:14:46that's always the best content as a

1:14:48consumer for me so that's why it's

1:14:50natural for me to make that cuz I would

1:14:51want to see it and with the vibe too is

1:14:54I love that has that got you many

1:14:55clients yeah oh that's actually worked

1:14:58for you oh yeah oh nice yeah for the

1:15:00agency and the other thing yeah because

1:15:03they but it's also worked for for I mean

1:15:06I don't know but I would I would assume

1:15:08it worked for like I did one for another

1:15:09another Mastermind um uh Jeremy Haynes

1:15:12Jeremy Haynes he used to run ads for um

1:15:14Dan lock Grant Cardone and uh I did one

1:15:17for his Mastermind recently and that one

1:15:20got a a girl that I knew that was

1:15:22following me said I watched your video

1:15:23I've been following Jeremy for a while

1:15:25but that Mastermind video made me made

1:15:27me apply and finally join so I don't

1:15:29know how much that is working for

1:15:30Quantum if Jesse or Nick and I'm sure it

1:15:32has cuz I saw it and I was like this is

1:15:34cool like it's just you capture

1:15:38something that you know cuz I always

1:15:40talk about The Logical side of quantum

1:15:42I'm like yeah it'll teach you how to get

1:15:44these things these people are in here we

1:15:47cover these topics here's the results

1:15:49people have gotten but you know I'm not

1:15:51going to pick up all of the like what

1:15:53does it feel like to be here and what's

1:15:56the vibe and that's what you're good at

1:15:59picking up it also takes someone to like

1:16:03not yeah you got to be some for me it's

1:16:05like I just had to make a decision I was

1:16:06like look how can I approach YouTube to

1:16:08where it's fun for me like cuz like what

1:16:10you said in Quantum before it was like

1:16:12if you how can I make this fun right

1:16:14when you were approaching webe how can I

1:16:16make this fun and then you asked me to

1:16:17help you with the YouTube ads to make it

1:16:18more fun so you didn't have to have time

1:16:20doing it yourself for me it was like how

1:16:22can I make the YouTube content fun what

1:16:25do I want to create and then I was like

1:16:27I'm going to be at these Ma I'm going to

1:16:28be at the Mastermind anyways I'm going

1:16:29to be learning things anyways why don't

1:16:31I just document that package it up into

1:16:33a video that's valuable and sharing for

1:16:35other people and it's fun for me to

1:16:37create those are your best videos like

1:16:39by far really yeah my best video in the

1:16:41last in this whole year is that that

1:16:43Quantum video see that's what's missing

1:16:44from this industry I think there's so

1:16:46much missing detail like what are these

1:16:49things like and who are these people and

1:16:52what are they like cuz everyone's just

1:16:54in their own isolated Little World

1:16:57posturing as like that character with

1:17:00that one message like whatever that

1:17:03message is but it doesn't that'll it'll

1:17:06never go mainstream like that because

1:17:09most people don't just buy stuff on like

1:17:12a vsl or logic they want to like be a

1:17:16part of some like scene and some Vibe

1:17:20yeah right and that there is no scene

1:17:23and Vibe especially there is actually

1:17:26it's happening but it isn't communicated

1:17:28no one's capturing it yeah and

1:17:31everyone's being there like character

1:17:33instead of just yeah do you know what

1:17:35I'm saying yeah 100% because that's what

1:17:38I've always wanted to capture was this

1:17:41behind the scenes and be able to to

1:17:44share it I just never had a medium to do

1:17:46that but like I've you know even back

1:17:49when I was you know doing this before I

1:17:51was like I've always wanted to document

1:17:53that like you always hear Gary document

1:17:55to create and I do believe that that you

1:17:57should document along the journey so you

1:17:59can have a thing to look back on but

1:18:00also everyone can see your journey to

1:18:02where you you're going um yeah you just

1:18:06got to make the decision for me I was

1:18:07like I just got to make a decision to

1:18:08just pull out the camera and not care

1:18:09and I did and like is a little bit of

1:18:12friction at first but it's like once you

1:18:13just get going you get going and then

1:18:16and then you you just got to ask

1:18:17yourself how can I make it fun and

1:18:18people loved it like and next time

1:18:20everyone's like dude you should get me

1:18:21in it next time and I'm like yeah dude

1:18:23we got to get a a session in next time

1:18:25that's what I want this industry to do

1:18:27way more sharing way more collaborating

1:18:30way

1:18:30more fun yeah and that's why you know

1:18:33even at the start I was asking about

1:18:35like the scene in Miami or like the

1:18:38scene that I saw in um in Scottdale yeah

1:18:43because that's like another layer of it

1:18:47right like a physical friends that are

1:18:50in the same building or block or at

1:18:52least City yeah and then the community

1:18:55and then the overall industry and then

1:18:57the masterminds and you know yeah

1:19:00because it all fuels each other right

1:19:01like the more you're like for example

1:19:03right at the beginning of this year I

1:19:04had 500 followers on Twitter right but

1:19:07when I moved to

1:19:09Miami there was a huge so that's funny

1:19:12I'll share I'll share exactly what I did

1:19:14because I I've I've been on Twitter

1:19:16since 2010 right but I never used

1:19:19Twitter to build anything personal brand

1:19:21share anything that I was doing up until

1:19:23January of this year year and I and the

1:19:25reason why is because I was following

1:19:27these guys for three or four two or

1:19:29three years now that you know they they

1:19:33weren't doing

1:19:35as how they basically there's a lot of

1:19:39there's a lot of people on Twitter that

1:19:40are that are really popular that uh

1:19:43don't have as much experience I would

1:19:45say right at at what compared to

1:19:48somebody like myself for example and I'm

1:19:50like seeing everything that they're

1:19:51doing and I'm like damn people look

1:19:54people like trust everything they're

1:19:56saying just cuz they have the following

1:19:57and they're sharing it and then at

1:19:59January of this year when I moved to

1:20:00Miami I had uh there was about five big

1:20:04influencers who were in Miami that I

1:20:07started connecting with and based off

1:20:10those connections and adding value to

1:20:12them and just becoming friends with them

1:20:13and now we all hang out Daniel his

1:20:15name's cold Emil wizard he's he's has

1:20:17like 80,000 followers on Twitter uh and

1:20:19there's Logan Fitz he has about 40,000

1:20:22followers on Twitter there's Nick Rogers

1:20:24about 20,000 Jeremy Moser anyways

1:20:26there's all these guys and I started

1:20:28connecting with them but they were the

1:20:30younger generation right I'm 28 they're

1:20:3322 23 24 so they're a few years younger

1:20:38but they're appealing to the 16 17

1:20:4118yearold and I was like okay if I can

1:20:45add value to them and become friends

1:20:47with them so we're all we're all helping

1:20:48each other grow then naturally I'm going

1:20:51to be able to be a part of this upand

1:20:53cominging wave of entrepreneurs who

1:20:55follow them and position myself as

1:20:57someone who's a friend of theirs so that

1:20:59I can be able to you know impact connect

1:21:03with this new generation and it's funny

1:21:05because I went from 500 followers at the

1:21:07beginning of January to now I'm at

1:21:08almost 7500 which you know isn't 10K but

1:21:11it's like that's 7.5 7x from what I've

1:21:15done and all I've been doing is just

1:21:16sharing on Twitter like literally just

1:21:18documenting what I've been doing so I

1:21:20share that because there's a there's a

1:21:23power like you said in the community and

1:21:26in my opinion

1:21:28YouTube with what we're talking about

1:21:30now sharing the journey the

1:21:32documentation of the behind the scenes

1:21:34with real value provided as well plus

1:21:36the Twitter because Twitter is where you

1:21:39can exp like a lot of people don't

1:21:42succeed on Twitter and the reason why is

1:21:44cu they're not able to express their

1:21:46thoughts in a way that connects it's

1:21:49hard for people to go from like Facebook

1:21:50or YouTube to Twitter but you either

1:21:53have it or you can learn how to do it

1:21:54but it's like it it takes another level

1:21:56of like expression it's like quick

1:21:58thoughts like the best Tweets that I

1:21:59have sometimes I'll just think of

1:22:01something randomly and I'm like boom

1:22:02boom boom boom I I just send it out to

1:22:04the universe and that one just gets

1:22:07retweeted favorites because it's just it

1:22:09almost like the natural thoughts that

1:22:11you have those are tweets and that's

1:22:13what people that are following you get

1:22:15to see as the like the behind the scenes

1:22:18of you so it's almost like the YouTube

1:22:20Vlog but it's an insight into how you

1:22:22think does that make sense yeah I get it

1:22:25and I think Twitter is going to be

1:22:28especially with everything that's going

1:22:29on with Elon too one of the most like uh

1:22:33high IQ kind of platforms for this

1:22:36industry as

1:22:37well I'm already seeing it like The

1:22:40Mastermind the admin Mastermind five out

1:22:43of the you know 20 people or so we'

1:22:45enrolled so far is all from Twitter yeah

1:22:48well I've noticed that all the

1:22:50VCS and founders of like massive

1:22:53companies that their platform of choice

1:22:55M which is interesting like why I

1:23:00mean yeah I personally don't like it but

1:23:04I see its value like yeah yeah I mean it

1:23:07would take a lot it's it's you can get

1:23:09trapped on Twitter too right like you

1:23:10just scroll it's just like anything else

1:23:13but the networking from Twitter and the

1:23:15the the the thought the thoughts on

1:23:17Twitter are just a lot more clean I

1:23:20would say than than like a Facebook

1:23:23nowadays

1:23:24you know yeah well Facebook is just

1:23:28weird yeah

1:23:32um yeah I think Twitter's very good at

1:23:34conveying like news yeah like if I ever

1:23:37want to know like what's going on like

1:23:40sometimes you just get that feeling

1:23:42you're like what's going on out there

1:23:45and you've got some spare time so you

1:23:46can

1:23:47look I'll typically go to Twitter like I

1:23:50don't go to the news any news stations

1:23:53you certainly don't go to Facebook I

1:23:54mean I don't I don't go there for

1:23:56anything

1:23:58um and you don't it's also not a YouTube

1:24:01thing like where do you go to find out

1:24:02what's going on yeah you don't go to

1:24:04YouTube yeah it's that's why I go to

1:24:07Twitter so I've got a fake account it's

1:24:10it's called like I won't even say what

1:24:12it's called cuz then you'll be able to

1:24:14see who I follow yeah but um it's just a

1:24:17random name Anonymous account yeah yeah

1:24:18I don't post anything but I only follow

1:24:21about five accounts that are just five

1:24:25heavily curated things so and

1:24:28it's it's just the people that I believe

1:24:32are like the smartest in the world so

1:24:34like if I want to know what's going on

1:24:36in the world I'll find out what's going

1:24:38on in their world and there the people I

1:24:40trust the most yeah and it only has five

1:24:43people on it cuz I think as soon as you

1:24:45follow too many people it just gets out

1:24:47of control right yeah but I don't engage

1:24:51in it at all which I just treat it as a

1:24:53news source that's the other uh that's

1:24:56how I knew you tweeted about you went on

1:24:58there right yeah so I'm using it but I'm

1:25:00not like getting sucked into it but

1:25:03that's the cool part about what you just

1:25:04said is that that proves almost what I'm

1:25:06trying to get across as well which is

1:25:09that powerful people influential people

1:25:12smart people use Twitter they may not

1:25:15engage or tweet every day but they have

1:25:17a Twitter account and I think that's

1:25:20what I see in it as well where it's like

1:25:22you can get in contact with I mean

1:25:24obviously if they're nf's account you

1:25:25won't be able to know but I've had

1:25:27people book calls with our agency that

1:25:29had they said they followed me on

1:25:31Twitter somehow and then you look at

1:25:32their profile and they have three

1:25:34followers no like a random image about

1:25:37there's no like literally anything about

1:25:39them but they're doing 500k a month like

1:25:41in their business like and I'm like yeah

1:25:44there's there Twitter's level of uh

1:25:47quality I think is just underrated it's

1:25:50really

1:25:51underrated cuz because I mean you just

1:25:53said it right you follow five people

1:25:54people and you curate your content but

1:25:56you also are tapped into what's going on

1:25:58there and I think if you can become an

1:26:01influential on Twitter in the future

1:26:04it's going to be very very lucrative uh

1:26:06for your personal brand and Longevity

1:26:08because there's a few kind of like

1:26:10different developments that I'm tracking

1:26:12that have like impactful to me in my

1:26:16world which is like the remote work

1:26:18trend is really interesting

1:26:20because I've noticed that switch it went

1:26:22heavy remote and now it's coming back

1:26:24and every day a different company

1:26:26announces it and I'm seeing what

1:26:28different people think about it and the

1:26:30reactions to their thoughts cuz that's a

1:26:32big one that'll impact me yeah and then

1:26:35the other one is just the economy like

1:26:38the recession and then the other one is

1:26:40like venture capital and

1:26:43startups and Founders and the and the

1:26:47experience Founders are having right

1:26:49like about hiring about raising about

1:26:53valuations about the markets about

1:26:55Capital markets and those are just the

1:26:58things I'm sensing from there from

1:27:00Twitter yeah because it's it's all on

1:27:03the feet it's news that's what it is

1:27:05yeah yeah yeah you go on I go on my

1:27:08Twitter timeline and it's always about

1:27:09insightful things related to what's

1:27:11going on this happened with FTX for

1:27:13example is a big one right now uh I saw

1:27:15that one blow up yeah yeah and it's it's

1:27:17like there's a new Thread about it every

1:27:19single day it's like new discovering

1:27:21about FTX and that one's getting shared

1:27:23a bunch because of

1:27:24that whole debacle you know um and then

1:27:28like the whole like uh presidential

1:27:30stuff yeah so it's like it's yeah you're

1:27:32right I never thought about it like that

1:27:34but it's basically

1:27:35news because everyone's sharing in real

1:27:38time as well yeah and it has a power to

1:27:41it if you like want to see what I'm

1:27:43talking about you can just create a new

1:27:45account fresh with a random name so you

1:27:47never even think about using it to

1:27:50create just look and just think about

1:27:52who would be the five people that are

1:27:54trust the most to give me my news oh wow

1:27:57and then look at your feed it's actually

1:27:59pretty good and then yeah cuz then it'll

1:28:01things like suggested on based on what

1:28:03we think you might like and then I don't

1:28:05follow any of those by the way the more

1:28:07you add the worse it gets yeah and I

1:28:12don't in interact with it so I'm purely

1:28:15just seeing what are the thoughts of the

1:28:17five people that I think are the

1:28:19smartest in my world yeah it could be an

1:28:22interesting experiment to do cuz I used

1:28:24to have a Twitter that I

1:28:26used and it was just kind of the feed

1:28:30was all junked up and everything right

1:28:32so I just created a new one like a

1:28:34burner one and it's pretty a burner

1:28:36Twitter account I'm really curious of

1:28:39what your name is dude what your image

1:28:40is is I wonder if it's like a crypto

1:28:43I'll tell you afterwards yeah yeah tell

1:28:44me after cuz if I tell everyone then

1:28:46you'll probably ruin my feet yeah no no

1:28:48don't don't mention that yeah that's

1:28:51funny man yeah but it just it just makes

1:28:53me cuz I'm like yeah Sam's on Twitter so

1:28:56it's like confirming my my uh on it but

1:28:59just not in the normal way I'm not

1:29:01tweeting my opinions still you're on it

1:29:05yeah and you're not on any other social

1:29:06probably once a week I'll check it just

1:29:08to see what's going on in my world yeah

1:29:10for probably for 30

1:29:11minutes I think that's why like it's

1:29:14just

1:29:15uh yeah I just I I just felt like the

1:29:18barrier to entry for Twitter was so low

1:29:20when it comes to the space that we're in

1:29:21about what's being shared that I was

1:29:23like dude this is an opportunity that

1:29:24like I just can't pass up and I'm seeing

1:29:26the fruits of it now just by I'm not

1:29:28even like I'm not even there's people

1:29:30out there that they plan their content

1:29:31ahead of time and schedule it all I'm

1:29:33doing is just when I get like kind of

1:29:35like what you do when you do it once a

1:29:36week I maybe do it I maybe tweet it once

1:29:38or twice a day maybe but I've just been

1:29:41doing that consistently as just been

1:29:42active on it but if I took it seriously

1:29:45I mean then it would be a different

1:29:47story yeah I've got some friends that

1:29:50have like they're real big on it and

1:29:52they swear by it Dan go who joined wi

1:29:55right 300,000 followers on Twitter it's

1:29:59funny Dan seeing Dan's tweets but yeah

1:30:00he crushes it he crushes Twitter um Alex

1:30:04rosi gets all of his YouTube content

1:30:05from Twitter because he tweets out his

1:30:07thoughts in real time and the ones that

1:30:09go crazy he turns those into

1:30:10full-fledged long form YouTube videos so

1:30:12he uses that for his

1:30:14content um there's a lot of other people

1:30:17too I just don't want to get sucked into

1:30:19it because I don't have

1:30:22the the time like I'm already very busy

1:30:27and so I don't want to get sucked in I

1:30:30think it depends too going back to the

1:30:31the personality types of what we just

1:30:32talked about right like I think it makes

1:30:35sense for me to get some of my time

1:30:37sucked into it to build the brand of me

1:30:43but also that fuels ad spend so there's

1:30:45a little bit of I mean there is direct

1:30:47correlation of why I I believe I should

1:30:49be doing it and there's arguments maybe

1:30:51not

1:30:52right but I don't see I don't seeing it

1:30:56I don't see it I actually see it as

1:30:58counterproductive if I don't do it like

1:31:00I I think about the what if not what if

1:31:02I didn't do it like do we would

1:31:04definitely not the pros for me far

1:31:06outweigh the cons yeah I think what

1:31:08you've got to do is decide what your

1:31:10core

1:31:11Platformers yeah so like there you

1:31:13should have cuz it's I mean some

1:31:15full-time influencers are multicore yeah

1:31:18so they're like producing native content

1:31:20on Tik Tok real short I mean that you

1:31:24can't also do other things when and

1:31:27that's fine there's people that make a

1:31:29ton doing that but they're like

1:31:30influencers yeah yeah but if you have to

1:31:33run a business which is the problem that

1:31:34all businesses basically have these days

1:31:36how do I make content and run my

1:31:40business and you just choose one core

1:31:42like YouTube I would still choose that

1:31:44as my core for sure but then like you

1:31:47know you could tweet out your ideas that

1:31:50could help you find material for your

1:31:53video cuz you still need ideas right and

1:31:58so Twitter's your idea machine and your

1:32:00sharing of the things that blow up you

1:32:03share the video and then they take off

1:32:06too right and then you could then get

1:32:09people to repurpose it for shorts and

1:32:11stuff but you see what I mean about

1:32:13YouTube is the core cuz cuz that is what

1:32:16create that that's the most sustainable

1:32:19I think scalable and then longevity wise

1:32:21as well stable platform M and then you

1:32:24can cut up like let's cuz like every

1:32:26video from what Clark and Vanessa and

1:32:28Aaron and uh they were and quasi were

1:32:30teaching it's like every video is like

1:32:32just the same as an ad right it's a hook

1:32:34and you have the body or the story it's

1:32:36the three bullet points of the body of

1:32:38the the video and then you have the call

1:32:40to action it's the same as a YouTube ad

1:32:41script and then you can cut up those

1:32:44three body points those three bullet

1:32:46points into Twitter uh Twitter content

1:32:50or into shorts Tik toks Instagram reels

1:32:53and stuff like that so yeah YouTube is

1:32:54definitely the main one and like I think

1:32:57the way you separated it right now is

1:32:58just perfect it's like YouTube is your

1:32:59main organic traffic source and platform

1:33:02and then Twitter which is exactly how

1:33:04I'm using it is just Idea Idea like just

1:33:09throwing out ideas and then the ones

1:33:11that hit can then be turned into a long

1:33:13form video you're always testing

1:33:16material cuz there's a creator of stand

1:33:18comedian right that's how I started to

1:33:20think about it because you know and a in

1:33:23a musician a guitar player has a riff

1:33:26they might have all these different

1:33:27riffs and they start jamming with

1:33:28friends and then they notice that this

1:33:30one little riff gets everyone's

1:33:33attention so then they build on it right

1:33:36and that becomes a song and then that

1:33:39song takes off because it's built that

1:33:41way and I always know that I can do a

1:33:45killer promo immediately after a Quantum

1:33:48event yeah like this last one that

1:33:49happened yeah it was so obvious to me

1:33:52what topics people cared about out

1:33:54masterminds YouTube organic YouTube ads

1:33:58right mhm Taxas like um and I knew what

1:34:03little sayings I had that got people's

1:34:06attention because I was up there I could

1:34:08see everyone's face yeah so I knew like

1:34:11I had some material or like some bits or

1:34:14a riff whatever you want to call it it's

1:34:16all the same kind of thing or nuggets

1:34:18people call them you know then I had to

1:34:21go to a few different settings after

1:34:23that like I went down to San Diego to

1:34:25and I had to someone called me up to

1:34:27speak about something and it was the

1:34:29last minute so I just thought well I'm

1:34:31just going to cover those things that

1:34:32were hot at that event mhm and then I

1:34:34won best nugget at this damn thing when

1:34:37it was and it was just cuz I I had a

1:34:39Zone I that I had pulled it from I kind

1:34:42of cheated I had just come from an

1:34:44environment of 3 days yeah and I CH

1:34:47chose the most highlight Snippets and

1:34:50then provided them there so it just

1:34:52stood out m then later I turned that

1:34:55into a

1:34:56video and it enrolled a ton of people

1:34:59into Quantum yeah do you see yeah yeah

1:35:02it's like that and then when I heard

1:35:04hosi talking about how he uses Twitter

1:35:07that's how he comes up with ideas he

1:35:09just tweets them doesn't think twice the

1:35:12things that gain traction become videos

1:35:16and that's how he he has more confidence

1:35:19that the videos are going to take off

1:35:21cuz he's not testing ideas at that level

1:35:25yeah just the same way I know like a

1:35:26campaign's going to work because I've

1:35:28kind or a video is going to work cuz

1:35:30I've kind of tested the at The

1:35:32Mastermind yeah yeah yeah I think like

1:35:35even the that's how I used the last

1:35:37video I did uh the Youtube ads targeting

1:35:39update one cuz everything was changing I

1:35:41put it on Twitter I was like big changes

1:35:43with YouTube ads my highest engagement

1:35:46tweet I've ever done like almost two 300

1:35:49retweet 300 retweets a th000 plus likes

1:35:53almost 100 plus comments like that the

1:35:56Impressions on that was insane you going

1:35:57to make a video on it now I already did

1:35:59okay and that one uh is is getting so

1:36:02many view like getting views it got it's

1:36:04at 1.6 1,600 which is good for my

1:36:07channel right I have 6,000 uh

1:36:09subscribers and then a lot of them were

1:36:11from like my old Fitness content so like

1:36:12that's a really good size for me but

1:36:15um but uh it's getting organic cuz it's

1:36:18a Hot Topic in the industry especially

1:36:20when it comes to YouTube ads because

1:36:21everyone's freaking out about it like

1:36:22even in we right like with the the the

1:36:26the you know everyone's worried about

1:36:28with keyword targeting gone content

1:36:29targeting what do we do and I'm like you

1:36:32know it's funny cuz it was so prominent

1:36:34that I had to put it in the FAQ of the

1:36:36promo I yeah yeah because I asked Jesse

1:36:40I was like you know this even is how we

1:36:43came up with the FAQ I asked Jesse what

1:36:46are the what are most of the customer

1:36:47support tickets about in order and he

1:36:49ranked them and he gave them to me wow

1:36:51and then that's what I put as the FAQ

1:36:53beneath the sales page cuz I knew that's

1:36:55what everyone was asking about so I

1:36:56didn't sit down and try to think what is

1:36:59I just found out so I'm not surprised

1:37:02that you say that that's what everyone

1:37:03wants yeah there there's different ways

1:37:05of sensing and seeing what people want

1:37:08and then you've got to take that and put

1:37:11it everywhere and that will it's pretty

1:37:13much guaranteed to take off yeah the

1:37:15same this is the same way that like

1:37:18musicians

1:37:19test like riffs and music and stuff and

1:37:23standup Like Comics test

1:37:27comedy they test bits at different uh

1:37:30like standup standup gigs sometimes they

1:37:32do a show just they're experimenting

1:37:35like they're not performing so you've

1:37:37got to know like which zone are you in

1:37:39like yeah I was watching a podcast I

1:37:41listen to a lot of standup comedians

1:37:42podcasts like uh Andrew Schultz or like

1:37:44Andrew Santino or Brian Ken and Brennon

1:37:47sh and all them and then they one of

1:37:49them I remember some one of the

1:37:51comedians was like maybe it was the oon

1:37:53was like uh he came on stage one time I

1:37:55could be wrong if it's the ovon but

1:37:57someone I remember one of them saying

1:37:58like they got on stage and they were

1:38:00like guys I'm testing out new material

1:38:01tonight so like just want everyone to be

1:38:03aware of that like they made it clear it

1:38:05was kind of interesting but yeah they're

1:38:06testing always they're always suring and

1:38:09and the timing and everything yes you

1:38:11need a testing ground right you can't

1:38:13just perform yeah so it's like Twitter's

1:38:15a testing ground now it's just got it's

1:38:18very clear it could be test and share

1:38:21test and share yeah like cuz once you do

1:38:23find a thing that people want they you

1:38:25know they want more so you bring it back

1:38:27and you give them the YouTube video or

1:38:29whatever right yeah yeah yeah so it's

1:38:32playing a like it's providing a function

1:38:35to the overall system what's funny is

1:38:38the last Quantum the last AB Bard room

1:38:40Mastermind with Cole I did it my best

1:38:43successful uh thread and email to my

1:38:47list I the subject line was um here's

1:38:50$68,000 worth of free value that was a

1:38:52subject line and then it was like a

1:38:54almost like a ninew email but it was

1:38:56like Hey first name I just got done

1:38:58spending the weekend with a 100 with a

1:38:59100 with a room full of 100 plus

1:39:01entrepreneurs doing anywhere from um 1

1:39:03million to 5 million whatever right you

1:39:06want my notes uh comment reply notes and

1:39:09I'll send them to you flooded my inbox

1:39:12it was like a 50% open rate which is in

1:39:15I mean crazy and there was like a it was

1:39:17it was whatever reply rate and then I

1:39:20posted on Twitter too flooded and then I

1:39:22was like okay so that's why I'm bringing

1:39:24my camera this time around to a fig

1:39:25boardroom because I'm going to do

1:39:26basically the same sort of subject line

1:39:29but for YouTube now right cuz it's a

1:39:32hard

1:39:33topic yeah it's funny I even clicked

1:39:36that

1:39:37link cuz I was like I wonder how we

1:39:39summarized my event oh yeah yeah yeah

1:39:43cuz I don't have notes CU I'm like

1:39:45running it right so I was like you like

1:39:47it yeah yeah I can see why people you

1:39:51know people most most people can't get

1:39:54access to like a 36 G Mastermind so that

1:39:58is as good as they're going to get and

1:40:01they they that's like getting access to

1:40:04something that you can't get access to

1:40:05you know but they don't get the best

1:40:07part which is the experience of course

1:40:09it's still the best they're going to get

1:40:11the it's the tactics the Nuggets but

1:40:14it's like that's it's something yeah

1:40:16it's something and I think that's also

1:40:17why it's cool because now I I believe it

1:40:20inspires them to want to be able to be a

1:40:22part of it oh yeah no it's helpful to

1:40:24The Mastermind for sure yeah cuz that

1:40:27was me I was like man if I could just

1:40:29get inside of these rooms with these

1:40:30guys I I'll be able to learn and go so

1:40:33much faster and then now being in a

1:40:35position to where I can share that with

1:40:36others it's like I'm almost sharing it

1:40:38with my younger self in a way it's like

1:40:39here's dude take it and then more people

1:40:41need to do that like share what it's

1:40:43really

1:40:46like yeah because I think way more

1:40:48people would want to be

1:40:50involved and everyone would see that

1:40:54it's not people are just normal and

1:40:56pretty casual and they've figured out

1:40:59some basic stuff it's not as like insane

1:41:02as prob cuz you know when you don't know

1:41:03anything you assume wild things like

1:41:05they're doing black magic in there or

1:41:07something you know like you just don't

1:41:10know like well yeah even even when you

1:41:13were sharing all the stuff like with the

1:41:15the remarkable thing I'm like Sam has to

1:41:17have this crazy thing where it's like no

1:41:18I just use the warm map and a notepad

1:41:20yeah that's what I'm getting at

1:41:22sometimes the answer what it really is

1:41:24is so damn simple that it's it's

1:41:27unbelievable actually yeah but you swore

1:41:30that what must be going on in there must

1:41:32be crazy but it's more simple than like

1:41:35the amateurs a lot of the time

1:41:40yeah which is interesting too cuz like

1:41:42one thing that I think I'd be curious to

1:41:44to hear your perspective on is like do

1:41:47you do you think it'd be better if you

1:41:49started sharing more about like the

1:41:51building process of school

1:41:54like that kind of behind the scenes not

1:41:56video but like maybe like a Weekly

1:41:59Newsletter around the what the school

1:42:02team's working

1:42:04on so we have this kind of thing this

1:42:07rule that we've got which is we don't

1:42:09talk about anything till it's done yeah

1:42:15and that's why we don't do any of that

1:42:19uh because it really just motivates us

1:42:22to ship and then we just build a relate

1:42:24like a reputation with our

1:42:27users as Builders not like talkers we

1:42:30never hyping up we just we just

1:42:33ship and we just keep going and we

1:42:36provide and it and school is fast and

1:42:38reliable yeah right and that's what we

1:42:41want to be knowing for um we get to and

1:42:44it makes it so much more exciting to

1:42:46talk about when it's ready and it also

1:42:48want forces you to really like finish it

1:42:52and then ship it in announce it it's

1:42:53like a celebration Loop yeah and we we

1:42:56have 30-day Cycles like that um so there

1:43:00is we do kind of have that but you know

1:43:04the other thing is is that if I was

1:43:06sharing the intricacies of building

1:43:07school that would be appealing to a a

1:43:10SAS well it be a venture backed SAS

1:43:13founder because the scale of school is

1:43:15very expensive it's not going to be just

1:43:17someone that wants to start a s yeah

1:43:19school's way too expensive you need a

1:43:20lot of money so it's only going appeal

1:43:23to people that are going to raise money

1:43:24from VCS that want to build big

1:43:26companies which is not my audience for

1:43:29school at all it's it's people that want

1:43:31to share education so then I'm I'm

1:43:33picking up the wrong audience yeah and

1:43:36then it makes me a teacher of something

1:43:38that I have no interest in teaching like

1:43:41I don't want to teach how to build a

1:43:42platform which is why this podcast makes

1:43:44the most sense yeah yeah CU you're

1:43:46talking to the creators as well as the

1:43:48people that are in the industry and

1:43:50anyone else that's just interesting to

1:43:52you and

1:43:53yeah because I'm building software but

1:43:55my audience are creators content

1:43:59creators and Community Builders right so

1:44:02that's I ran into a bit of a trap at one

1:44:03point cuz I was like the thing I am

1:44:05doing is

1:44:06not the thing that my audience wants to

1:44:09know about which was school you mean

1:44:11right yeah yeah yeah yeah well I think

1:44:15that's also going back to what we talked

1:44:16about earlier with the Mastermind why

1:44:17why you've been able

1:44:18to use that you said like the little

1:44:21trick again of being able to get other

1:44:22people to share those topics that

1:44:25everyone else is interested in who are

1:44:27good at it they're good at it and then

1:44:28they're sharing that was amazing like I

1:44:31thought I would be done cuz I was so

1:44:33worried about this I was like I'm going

1:44:35to lose my Edge because I'm no longer

1:44:37doing a lot of the

1:44:38things I'm not going to know what to

1:44:40talk about at The Mastermind people are

1:44:42going to start to leave and then I'm

1:44:45going to just have to stop doing it

1:44:47completely right yeah and I was like

1:44:49damn

1:44:51um that's what I thought was going to

1:44:53happen

1:44:55but instead I was like well I'll just

1:44:58get other people to talk and what's

1:45:00amazing is it got better yeah 100% like

1:45:04but do you know how crazy that is that I

1:45:06thought the thing that was going to end

1:45:08it made it

1:45:10better so it just shows that the

1:45:13Paradigm everyone's using to approach

1:45:15this industry is really wrong yeah yeah

1:45:18and the quality of members I started

1:45:20getting was so much better and the IT

1:45:23things got way more fun and then it just

1:45:26became way more like collaborative

1:45:29because people were sharing everything

1:45:32and like helping each other out and yeah

1:45:36so it taught me a lot that was probably

1:45:39the biggest lesson I had in info like

1:45:43today I reckon that experience cuz

1:45:45people haven't had that experience

1:45:47they're still very guarded about and and

1:45:51in their little island and they've got

1:45:53to know everything you know yeah but

1:45:55that's never served me what's allowed me

1:45:57to be able to I guess Win Friends and

1:46:00Influence People if that makes sense the

1:46:01easiest metaphor is like being just

1:46:03sharing everything giving everything

1:46:04away because we always had an agency

1:46:07right so it's like we can give

1:46:07everything away for free but they they

1:46:09want to pay us to work with us to to do

1:46:11the implementation so I was never afraid

1:46:13of that and I mean I know about sharing

1:46:16but of like getting other people to fill

1:46:18in where you don't have the answer you

1:46:20know yeah yeah using other people's

1:46:23knowledge to be able to fill in the gaps

1:46:25that you're not as strong at also I

1:46:28think people think that if they're going

1:46:29to refer someone else that that person

1:46:31the customer's going to leave them and

1:46:32just go to that person yeah but that

1:46:35doesn't happen often that person that

1:46:37you referred them too if they end up

1:46:41having a good experience like if I told

1:46:42someone about you I win more trust with

1:46:45that customer and now if they get

1:46:47results with you they want to help me

1:46:49more cuz they attribute it to me so it

1:46:52does at the doesn't like leave you and

1:46:54go to them it actually just it comes

1:46:56back around if you make good

1:46:59recommendations Yeah well yeah because

1:47:01like even with the Mastermind now right

1:47:02it's like well if you want to learn how

1:47:04to scale with YouTube ads in the info SP

1:47:06space and build uh a sustainable brand

1:47:09long term you're going to need to learn

1:47:10how to do YouTube organic where's the

1:47:12best place to learn that I mean Quantum

1:47:15Mastermind is probably the best place

1:47:17obviously because of the quality of

1:47:18members that are in there that are doing

1:47:20both so but even even with in there like

1:47:25people are working with each other and

1:47:28it's not like I just provide all the

1:47:29value you know what I mean yeah

1:47:33exactly we're getting close to your

1:47:35flight time yeah Quick Trip heading to

1:47:38uh Arizona tomorrow tonight tonight no

1:47:42I'm going tomorrow yeah that'll be fun

1:47:45I've never been before you were just

1:47:47there with the no I mean to Cole's

1:47:49Master oh oh yeah yeah I'm interest we

1:47:52oh man I want to uh I want to text you

1:47:54after and well we'll talk about it at

1:47:56The

1:47:57Mastermind yeah cuz it's it's funny it's

1:48:00two different types of

1:48:02atmospheres really yeah but a lot of

1:48:04there's people that are in both right

1:48:06yeah yeah but it's just different and in

1:48:09not a bad way or a good way it's just

1:48:11different there's something special

1:48:13about this classroom I'll refer to it as

1:48:16a classroom whereas other masterminds

1:48:20Cole specifically is really good though

1:48:21the quality of people in are really good

1:48:23as well

1:48:25um yeah I don't know maybe it's just a

1:48:28different format if that if that makes

1:48:30sense there's tables specifically for

1:48:32specific people um what do you mean like

1:48:37uh like depending on where you're at

1:48:38with your business oh I see oh I got it

1:48:41which is actually interesting cuz uh

1:48:45last time we were there there was a

1:48:46table like at wonder what table I'm

1:48:47going to be

1:48:48in yeah it was table one through like

1:48:51table 18 or something but there was no

1:48:53one at table 18 cuz that was reserved

1:48:55for like this certain uh revenue or

1:48:57whatever and everyone's like I want to

1:48:58get the I want to get to table 18 man so

1:49:00it kind of creates like a gamified

1:49:02system if that makes sense maybe they

1:49:05still have that maybe they don't but uh

1:49:06we'll see tomorrow or we'll see this

1:49:08weekend I'm interested at how people do

1:49:11their I think the the tendency I've

1:49:13noticed cuz I've been talking to Vanessa

1:49:15who doing her Mastermind this weekend

1:49:18then she's coming on this podcast oh she

1:49:20she launched hers yeah she's got people

1:49:23oh wow was it a back end yeah 25k wow

1:49:26that's sick yeah um she showed me her

1:49:29agenda and it's just jammed and I'm like

1:49:31you really could leave more white space

1:49:34in here I was like if there's no moments

1:49:36that you that are just left

1:49:39empty the like Spirit of the room won't

1:49:43like come out to tell you what it wants

1:49:47cuz it's just it's just boom boom bo

1:49:49boom flooded yeah your Bas there's the

1:49:52energy and the room isn't given anywhere

1:49:54to

1:49:55like to play basically right yeah

1:50:01and it's I think people were scared of

1:50:04that like we were talking about our

1:50:05friend that's too scared to come on the

1:50:07podcast because cuz it's he's never done

1:50:10anything structured no unstructured yeah

1:50:13that's what I mean yeah yeah he's that's

1:50:15that freaks everyone out cuz Vanessa was

1:50:18freaked out about doing a mastermind cuz

1:50:19she had only done structured stuff but

1:50:22was like you're just going to have to

1:50:23get over that but I said the easiest way

1:50:26to get over it is just to come to

1:50:28Quantum watch and then she got it she's

1:50:30like oh okay yeah it freaked her out at

1:50:33first though oh yeah the th yeah well

1:50:36like just even being a partic like just

1:50:38like it's so so loose and natural and

1:50:41organic well you have to be I refer to

1:50:44it as like the difference between like

1:50:46jazz music and like an orchestra so you

1:50:49know how jazz is different yeah yeah

1:50:51yeah so Jazz you got one person kind of

1:50:53start jamming someone listens and they

1:50:55kind of come in and it it kind of

1:50:57emerges like that right and that's how I

1:51:02run these um whereas an orchestra is all

1:51:05like scheduled and everything I think

1:51:08people are terrified of what might

1:51:10happen if it isn't planned yeah so I

1:51:14always have a backup that's my way of

1:51:16dealing with it I have an agenda and I

1:51:18have things that I if it's just awkward

1:51:20and there's nothing I always have

1:51:23something I can fall back on but I leave

1:51:26the space there and often what comes up

1:51:28and goes in there is way better than the

1:51:31things that I would have planned yeah

1:51:33it's a fear

1:51:35thing and it leaves room for the

1:51:37community to collaborate which is what

1:51:38the best part is about getting the real

1:51:40inperson experiences and being able to

1:51:42attend an event like that so that white

1:51:45space is

1:51:46good yeah I don't why do you think

1:51:48people are scared of it cuz they're

1:51:51afraid of like it's us just described it

1:51:53perfectly I mean just thinking about it

1:51:54for me if I were ever to run a backend

1:51:56Mastermind I would definitely do it how

1:51:57you're doing it but if I would also

1:52:00still have that fear of like maybe it's

1:52:02too loose because you almost think that

1:52:05people are coming and they're going to

1:52:07be disappointed if they don't get

1:52:09tactical tactical tactical shoved down

1:52:11their throats because you don't want

1:52:12them to be

1:52:14upset but the real money in the

1:52:16masterminds from my experience and the

1:52:18real memories are made not like in the

1:52:21classroom they're on the conversations

1:52:24yeah the conversations you have during

1:52:25lunch the conversations you have during

1:52:27breaks the conversations you have at

1:52:28dinner the cigar bar at wherever hanging

1:52:31out with the members those are when

1:52:33everyone's a little bit more loose

1:52:36anyways to where I mean everyone's just

1:52:39sharing and it's

1:52:42fun yeah that's what it needs to be

1:52:44sharing and fun so how can you make the

1:52:46classroom experience that as well as the

1:52:49hanging out which which is exactly what

1:52:51Quantum is now to me because it's it's

1:52:54both you combined both of those elements

1:52:56whereas if there's too much structure

1:52:57and too much schedule like some of the

1:52:59other masterminds it's uh yeah it kind

1:53:02of drains you a little

1:53:03bit

1:53:05yeah yeah well I'm curious to see what
