0:05Today we're here at Max Science Designs
0:07and we're wrapping the Porsche. Right.
0:08What's the first thing you got to Well,
0:10we got to choose a color. So, we're
0:11going either a matte white or a satin
0:14white. It's up to you. And some people
0:15watching are going to be thinking the
0:16car's already white, but there's a plot
0:18twist and it's coming up. If you stay
0:19around, you'll find out why we're
0:21wrapping a white car white. All right,
0:22let's have a look at the So, this is the
0:24mat. Yeah. So, that one's not actually
0:26in there, so I have to double check
0:27that. No, I think I think it' be Matt.
0:28So, this is just going to cause me more
0:30headaches. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But if I
0:32ruin this, I'll have to come back and
0:33get it wrapped again. That's right. It's
0:34a good idea. Two-part pricing.
0:36Fantastic. Take the Saturn swatch out.
0:38Okay. We'll do the Saturn. And then the
0:40first thing we have to do today is
0:41remove the existing wrap. Yep. So, it's
0:43covered in It's actually got a PPF film
0:45on it. So, it's got a um paint
0:47protection film, a clear wrap. The whole
0:48car is wrapped in clear. Uh do people
0:50have to pay extra when they get that?
0:51Yeah. Well, it's usually that's quite an
0:53expensive process to have a clear wrap
0:55done, a paint protection wrap. That's
0:57from anywhere from 10 to $15,000 that
1:00sort of wrap. So that's quite an
1:01expensive wrap. Anything you hear in
1:03dollars, half it and you have British
1:05pounds. When I first got the car, the
1:07wrap was already a bit perished. Yeah.
1:10On the back. Yeah. So when I saw there
1:13was a little bit here that had perished,
1:15I pretty much knew, yeah, we're going to
1:18have to redo the whole thing. We're
1:19going to have to do the whole thing. So
1:21we're going to have to take that off. Is
1:22it as simple as just ye? Yep. Just pull
1:25that off. No, we're going to get one of
1:26our guys to come in who pulls apart all
1:28our vehicles for us. We don't actually
1:29touch the cars. We get a professional to
1:31come in, pull the car apart, and then we
1:34uh store the parts, wrap the car. He
1:37comes back in after the car's wrapped,
1:38puts it all back together. So, we're
1:40wrapping the car completely matte white,
1:42and then we're going to print onto like
1:43a high gloss vehicle wrapping film. So,
1:46and we're going to do, you know, big
1:47gloss logo on the roof and a huge big
1:50gloss logo on the sides and a bit of
1:52branding down the sides. Couple little
1:54accents here and there. Should look
1:55pretty good. Pretty good. And there's no
1:57way you damage the paintwork pulling off
1:58the No, no, it should come off quite
2:00easily. We will use a steamer. So, we'll
2:02steam it. Warm it up a bit to remove it.
2:05We do have a wobbly indicator here. Just
2:07to let you know beforehand. That's going
2:09back to Porsche to get fixed. And I
2:12broke the cup holder, but it's on
2:14warranty. Ladies and gentlemen, if you
2:15get a car out there, finance outright,
2:17whatever, get warranty. All right?
2:19That's why I prefer buying from garages.
2:21You might pay a little bit more. You
2:22don't have to worry about it. Anything
2:24breaks, not your problem. You're going
2:27to be trusting me today with doing a
2:29little bit. Yeah, why not? I'll give you
2:31a couple of tools. And I haven't had the
2:33final bill yet, so depending on how much
2:35material I waste, we'll be putting the
2:37bill for it. I'll put a bit extra on
2:38there. Yeah. Perfect.

2:46You know, like at school when your ADHD
2:48kicks in, you just start destroying
2:49stuff, carving your name into Oh, do you
2:51know what I used to do at school? I used
2:52to carve other people's initials into
2:55stuff. So that and then I would I would
2:57do them into the teacher and I'd be
2:58like, "Look, please." And the best if
3:00you want people to talk about something,
3:02say, "Promise you won't tell anyone." So
3:05there was a there was a girl at my
3:07school called Francis Abigail Buckner.
3:09I'm so sorry, Francis. And me and this
3:12other lad called John would write her
3:13initials all around the school with a
3:14felt tip. And um we got to the point
3:17where we would try and impress each
3:18other with where we'd written her name.
3:20And I just be like, you know, getting
3:22food from the canteen and I'd see her
3:23initials and I'd be like, "Oh my god,
3:24that's so good." Poor Francis. Then at
3:28uni, I feel quite bad for this one. But
3:31we made up a rumor that we walked in on
3:33a lad wanking with a belt around his
3:35neck. Nice. He was a good mate of ours
3:36though. Still still am friends with him
3:38now. But that one spread like wildfire
3:40because we use the old Oh, you can't
3:42tell anyone. Seriously, honestly, you
3:43can't tell anyone. We won't name him,
3:45but his name was Rob Murray and we used
3:47to call him Knob Co.

4:30Hey
4:31[Music]
4:43I thought this was going to be a one day
4:44job, but 4 days later, coming to have a
4:46look.
4:48Oh [ __ ] this is looking so good. Got
4:51you doing the hard labor, is he? How was
4:53the bad? How bad was the rear bumper?
4:56Far out. This is mental. Originally, we
4:58were going to go I actually thought
5:00maybe going black and then when I
5:01thought about it, I was like, "No,
5:02black's rubbish." So, I know the car was
5:04white before. Got a matte white finish
5:06to it. Got branding on the front,
5:07branding down the side. I think the roof
5:09might be the favorite part. The eyes on
5:11the side look unreal. Originally, I was
5:12thinking branding on top of the wing,
5:14but we're keeping that clean and it's
5:16underneath instead. Even the back end of
5:17it just looks so much better. And it's
5:19worth noting, you said yesterday, the
5:20PPF for these cars, the plastic laminate
5:23is preprinted in por shapes. That's
5:25right. It's like templated to suit the
5:27car. So, they've just got to spray some
5:29stuff on it, move it around, and then it
5:31dries. Whereas for this, every single
5:33sheet you've had to stretch and mold
5:35around every single panel, complete
5:36coverage. So, it's a little bit
5:38different. Not saying PPF's not any
5:40harder, but this is a bit more, I guess,
5:42more detail goes into this. And when you
5:43look back at your life, you know, a
5:44whole day of it would have been spent
5:46just doing this bit here. I've got to
5:47have therapy now. So, that's my next
5:49step after today. I'm going straight to
5:51therapy. It looks so good. And
5:52originally, we have a new flavor of New
5:54Tonic coming out. People might be
5:55watching this video and not even know
5:56what not neutronic is. It's a
5:58productivity drink. You've had it. Do
5:59you like it? Love it. Addicted to it.
6:01Perfect. Originally, we're going to go
6:02with different color eye, different
6:04color wind mirror, but we haven't
6:06publicly announced that flavor yet. So,
6:08when we do, come back in, wrap the whole
6:09thing. Easy work. That looks so good.
6:11I'm buzzing. I'm I'm [ __ ] my pants.
6:14That first bug that goes into it, I'll
6:16be running outside. You know, like when
6:18your mom sees you at school with a bit
6:19of stuff on your shirt, you can't not
6:21drive it. As a famous man once said, not
6:23putting miles on your car is like not
6:25[ __ ] your misses. So the next guy
6:27comes along has a better turn. Do you
6:28want to pass me the key? Then I'll just
6:30reverse out and then I'll just do a lap
6:32and come back. I've missed it. I've
6:34missed this car.
6:50See you later, guys.
