0:01welcome back to New to medical device
0:04sales I am your host Jacob McLaughlin
0:06and today I have a special guest I'm so
0:10excited to be bringing you guys Hayden
0:13smart Hayden welcome to the podcast
0:15hey Jacob thank you so much for having
0:17me on today and honestly it means a lot
0:19I've been listening for a while and it's
0:21a pleasure to be here oh yeah man happy
0:23to have you so to go in a little
0:25background you guys for Hayden I'll have
0:26him talk into it but Hayden was a
0:29college senior regi received two job
0:31offers from the top medical device
0:33companies in the world which is pretty
0:35impressive if you guys don't know what
0:37that world is
0:39um and so it's just awesome Hayden
0:41reached out to me a little while ago
0:42seen him go through the process seeing
0:44how committed he's been it's just a
0:47testament to how hard he works and no
0:49surprise that these top companies wanted
0:50him so wanted to get him on the podcast
0:52for you guys just for you to learn from
0:54because he put in the work and and now
0:56he's he's broken and he's living it so
0:58again Hayden welcome and I again just
1:01tell us a little bit about yourself
1:02yeah thank you again
1:04um so just a little bit about myself I'm
1:07from Southern California and when I was
1:09going through college and whatnot I
1:11really wasn't sure what I wanted to do I
1:12started off wanting to become a
1:13veterinarian and one of the biggest
1:16things for me though was I wanted to be
1:17able to help my parents retire and I
1:19needed to make money before I did that I
1:21needed to start helping people earlier
1:23than 38 years old which is really where
1:25after residency you can kind of start
1:27your life it's just it's a beautiful
1:30profession but I wanted to do something
1:33quicker uh so I started looking into
1:35other areas like research and
1:36development because I was like maybe I
1:37can cure cancer that would be pretty
1:38cool
1:39um I've got some some family ties with
1:41people that have had cancer and it's
1:43just I'm very passionate about helping
1:45others and really just
1:46making making people's lives easier at
1:49the end of the day so
1:50I did that for a while and I realized
1:53you know what I just can't sit behind
1:55the desk all day every day I um I
1:57probably would implode because I just
1:59have way too much energy you might be
2:00able to power a city with all my energy
2:02but uh I really I was so passionate
2:05about helping people and really just
2:07getting into the workforce that I
2:08started networking every day it was like
2:10Monday through Friday I was up until
2:13midnight trying to reach out to people
2:15to figure out hey like what are you
2:17doing like let's see if that would be a
2:19fit for me how is the culture at your
2:20company and I just kept doing that and
2:23it was day in day out and I connected
2:25with a buddy who actually went to my
2:28same school and he was doing sales for a
2:31company called uh or just a bigger
2:33company in the medical field and it was
2:37super interesting and that's kind of
2:38where I was like oh let's let's pivot my
2:41structure and my focus and look at sales
2:43in the medical field because uh I've
2:46always kind of wanted to talk to people
2:47to interact with them to sell not only
2:49myself but a product that's going to
2:51help somebody and I was looking at two
2:54two options Pharma sales and then
2:55medical device sales and I started
2:58binging podcasts I started reaching out
3:00to alumni I did everything I could every
3:03day to just be figure out what is going
3:05to be the best fit and that's how I
3:06concluded medical device sales and then
3:09I went full force all the way every day
3:11I love it two things real quick I want
3:13to just touch on is you guys the one
3:16thing that Hayden did that he's so smart
3:18and it's what I did as well is
3:20I am mind blown by how many people
3:23choose a career and they've never even
3:25talked to a person about it they saw a
3:27TV show and they're like that sounds
3:28cool you know but like yeah of course it
3:31looks cool you know like but nobody
3:33talks about all the different stuff and
3:34so the fact that Hayden just went so
3:36hard into talking to everybody I tell
3:38everyone no matter what you're gonna do
3:39you need a call that's and going into
3:41details of like reaching out to reps
3:43that's why you reach out to reps that's
3:44why we reach out to people you need to
3:45find out what the everyone knows the
3:47good everybody hears all the cool stuff
3:48making a bunch of money hanging out with
3:50doctors right what's the not so good
3:51stuff what sucks you know like the what
3:54what's like that was always my questions
3:55when I hey what's a pro of your position
3:57and what's a con right because with
4:00every job there's always a con and you
4:02need to learn it and some cons aren't
4:03that bad but you need to understand hey
4:05what it is so the fact that Hayden just
4:07was going out reaching out to everybody
4:09just to learn that's exactly what I did
4:11my first 15 calls when I was trying to
4:13break into my device sales was literally
4:15what is this I don't know what this is
4:17somebody told me about it can you kind
4:19of like tell me what you do and I'm like
4:21after 15 calls after hearing the same
4:23thing I'm like this sounds pretty cool
4:24right but I think that's so good number
4:27two real quick I wanted to just touch on
4:29is going into being a veterinarian I
4:31actually still personal train some
4:32veterinarians and uh
4:34they would say you made the right choice
4:36you know I hear how they talk um and and
4:38also like it's just crazy I didn't know
4:40that profession has the number one
4:41suicide rate
4:42um in all professions
4:44um just again not to be a Debbie Downer
4:46but like so you guys do know other
4:47veterinarians I talk to them about it
4:49all the time because it is you go be a
4:50doctor you go do that stuff but then you
4:51don't make a lot of money and then
4:53you're like again the thing is I've
4:55learned over covid with them is people
4:57are nasty and when it comes to their
4:58pets they are mean man they just don't
5:01give a crap about who you are in their
5:03your soul they care about
5:04Stacy the dog that's dead already and
5:07they're trying to keep it alive when
5:08it's already it's too bad right so uh
5:10it's crazy but I digress um but one
5:12thing I did want to touch on I would
5:14love for you to go into kind of detail
5:15because that's a lot of people reach out
5:16to me hey Pharma or medical device sales
5:18I have my reasons why I chose medical
5:20device sales and I tell everybody when
5:23you did the research what made you end
5:24up choosing medical device sales over
5:26pharmaceutical sales
5:27yeah honestly that's a that's a great
5:30question because a lot of people can go
5:32one way or the other and a lot of times
5:34people can get confused about what they
5:35are and so my mom actually introduced me
5:38to Pharma sales because she's been a
5:39nurse all of her life she's really in
5:41the field and my understanding after
5:43talking to a few people is it's a lot
5:46less being involved especially like
5:48you're not involved in surgeries and
5:49that was one of the biggest things for
5:50me when I was doing uh the vet clinic
5:52work and whatnot like I got to see
5:53surgeries I got to assist in them and it
5:56honestly like it sounds wrong but I got
5:58an adrenaline rush from being able to
6:00help and all that and it was huge for me
6:01so Pharma sales you really don't get
6:04that necessarily whereas Med device
6:06sales you do and you're interacting with
6:09surgeons doctors the same kind of way
6:11but again like medical device sales
6:14you're doing something for an individual
6:17a bit more I think and you're you can go
6:19to bed at night and rest easy knowing
6:21like I actually like might have saved
6:24someone's life today and you're also a
6:26salesperson yep and so that's a great
6:28point and we'll touch on it I'll just so
6:29you guys all know because I know people
6:31are like what's the difference between
6:32Pharma and medical device so
6:33Pharmaceuticals is where you're selling
6:35the drugs right whatever pills doctors
6:37are handing out
6:38um at doctor's office that kind of stuff
6:40medication compared to medical device
6:42sales you're actually selling the
6:43equipment used in surgeries uh or like
6:45right or sold to hospitals or Capital
6:47right it doesn't have to be in surgeries
6:49but like it could be the sponges like
6:50you know there's the grocery stores or
6:52the Amazons uh that sell the hospitals
6:54sell the needles that they need sell the
6:55gloves that they need right but they're
6:56selling stuff
6:57um now the reason I'm going into detail
6:59with this is because
7:02Pharmaceuticals has a horrible wrap in
7:04medical device sales and let me tell you
7:06why medical device sales and I'm not
7:09saying me so don't attack don't give me
7:11messages from farmer reps attacking me
7:13right this isn't me saying this is just
7:14the industry and the stigma around
7:15Pharmaceuticals Pharmaceuticals is a
7:18lazy man's job a lot of them can work
7:20two to three hours a day they're not
7:22really selling they just go to an office
7:24and they do a coffee or do coffee
7:26breakfast or they'll just go to lunch
7:28see the doctor try to be cute hey Doc do
7:31you want to use my stuff thanks and like
7:33there's no selling because all like for
7:35example you guys know the difference
7:37between like ibuprofen right and like
7:40Tylenol what's the difference well I
7:42don't really know they're pretty much do
7:43the same thing right it's just whatever
7:45doctors likes the rep more right like
7:47there's that stuff so it's not really
7:48like they're selling
7:49um and that's the biggest thing and I'm
7:51saying this to you guys because I know
7:53managers literally get on my LinkedIn I
7:55posted something the other day
7:56pharmaceutical or uh one of my buddies
7:58actually did it about medical device
8:00sales pharmaceutical breaking in a lot
8:02of people think they're gonna go farm on
8:03the med device
8:04metadvice hates Pharma because they look
8:06at them as lazy people they are there
8:08and there's no selling so they're like
8:09you're not selling you're not doing any
8:11of the work so we're not going to hire
8:12you the only human beings I personally
8:14know
8:15that get hired in medical device sales
8:17from pharmaceutical sales are people
8:19that that are managers that used to be
8:22in Pharma and then they take a shot on
8:24that person that's the only people no
8:25because I've literally talked to
8:27managers I talked to one manager he had
8:29someone that was in the final round
8:31the VP came in
8:34asked about the background found out
8:35that it was from Pharmaceuticals he said
8:37the interview's done right now you're
8:38out we're not hiring at Pharma rep
8:40that's how bad of a stigma
8:42Pharmaceuticals has in medical device
8:44sales because people think that they're
8:45lazy and that they don't do any sewing
8:48now again I'm not saying they don't I
8:49know people that are in Pharma that are
8:51great do that stuff right and they do
8:52work hard but the stigma is they only
8:54work two to three hours a day
8:57um and I'll be straight up I've talked
8:58to some of my Farmer reps I know farmer
9:00reps you were president club Owners who
9:01told me they work like three hours a day
9:02right so it's not that's not fake
9:05um so it's it's there but also just
9:07going into detail for you guys also pay
9:09so for example pay is normally going to
9:12be way under
9:13um someone in medical device sales if
9:16you're in pharmaceutical sales so
9:17medical device sales allows you to make
9:18more money I just say that I had someone
9:20reach out she said she talked to someone
9:22in Farmland he was a real jerk but he
9:25was like flexing that he made this much
9:26money and he'd been in for 10 years and
9:28to give you guys a piece of advice like
9:30I made more money than him and I've only
9:31been in for two years
9:33right so like that's kind of the
9:35difference with Med device and Pharma uh
9:37there's a the opportunity to earn is way
9:39bigger in medical device sales so when
9:40you guys are looking at it yeah you're
9:42probably going to work way more on
9:43medical device sales than you would
9:44Pharma
9:45Farmers like honestly I just tell this
9:47if I just wanted to like not really try
9:49anymore and just go make a like make a
9:51hundred thousand dollars I go to Pharma
9:53I don't have to work that hard medical
9:54device sales you can make Way north of
9:56that but you're gonna work more so
9:57that's just really the difference so you
9:59guys really have a clear understanding
10:01the difference between Pharmaceuticals
10:02and medical device sales but also the
10:03stigma behind it if you guys are
10:05thinking Pharma the advice I would give
10:07you and the advice I've always received
10:09if you're gonna go into Pharma you got
10:10to get out within two to three years
10:11because if you don't then the stigma is
10:13that you're a like you're you've
10:14been ingrained into that role and that
10:17you're never going to work hard so just
10:18some thoughts to you guys
10:20um but let's get back into Hayden Hayden
10:22so you you decided out of the
10:24pharmaceutical medical device sales it
10:26was medical device sales and so once
10:29that happened and you were like okay I'm
10:31gonna do medical device sales how old
10:32were you because I knew we were in
10:34college so at what point in college were
10:36you and then what were the next steps
10:37for you
10:39so I was actually 21 I'm still 21. um it
10:42was this year yeah yeah exactly it was
10:45last month that I received my offers but
10:48one of the one of the biggest things I
10:50got to say is everyone looking at this
10:52industry like and asking questions like
10:54what's the Silver Bullet to really get
10:56this job and the fact of the matter is
10:58there's no Silver Bullet you better be
11:01willing to bust your butt day in day out
11:03until you hit the pillow at night
11:05networking with people calling people
11:07making relationships following up you're
11:09in the next stage of the interview
11:10process sending those messages to the
11:12people you've connected with thanking
11:14them for their time you have to be doing
11:16that every day and thinking about that
11:17hard work is going to be your silver
11:19bullet and there is no way around it
11:21preach it one more time for the people
11:23in the back and you know you guys listen
11:26to my podcast enough but I literally
11:29have people I just like if you guys
11:31heard last week's it was I was being a
11:32cranky dude and then I had to delete it
11:34and redo it because I was so cranky
11:35because I have so many people reach out
11:36and be like I just want a job
11:39and I'm like and I just won a million
11:40dollars like what do you freaking do
11:42right we we gotta actually do stuff and
11:45so it's how you work and what you do and
11:46what makes you stand out and like we've
11:48talked about take everything away take
11:49your background away who cares what are
11:51they getting when they hire Hayden what
11:53are they getting when they hire you what
11:55do you bring to the team are you gonna
11:56work hard are you gonna follow up are
11:58you gonna work those 14-hour days with a
11:59smile on your face get up and do it
12:01again are you gonna be the one who's
12:02responsible are you going to be the one
12:03setting trades when you don't need to
12:04are you gonna be the one running trades
12:06when nobody even asked you to those are
12:08the things you can't teach and if you
12:09can show and display that you can do
12:11that that's what's going to help you
12:12stand out
12:13exactly and and one of the biggest
12:15things too is like you can't sit on your
12:18butt and expect that these jobs are
12:20going to come flying in even if you have
12:21the best resume in the world building
12:23those relationships especially with Med
12:25device sales is going to get you so much
12:27farther because people talk it's not a
12:30secret Jacob I'm sure this happens to
12:32you every day where you have applicants
12:33and then they reach out to someone else
12:35and you guys talk about it and maybe if
12:37they leave a good impression you can
12:38push them along we have text message
12:40threads about it 100 if I literally just
12:43today somebody reached out to me they
12:45reached out to another person they said
12:46what do you think even right now with
12:47recruiters I literally just called
12:49somebody I got somebody in a recruiting
12:51position with a very high-end company
12:54because the recruiter reached out to me
12:55said what do you think of this person I
12:56said hey I talked to him I think they're
12:57a good go-getter
12:59bam that person got a call today that
13:01person's now in the interview process
13:03right that's what actually happens when
13:05you leave a lasting impression and you
13:07keep going and you're a go-getter right
13:08it's not just good enough but we talk
13:10about it that's the industry you don't
13:12just like reach out to one doctor and
13:13that's it that's why I try to teach you
13:15guys it's doing the job to get the job
13:16you have to be continuing to do this
13:17because that's how you're going to stand
13:19out and like I've told you guys a
13:21million times I I went on to detail with
13:24one of the podcasts with Pierre about
13:26you know what the top companies in the
13:28world aren't doing
13:30looking for the talent
13:33they have the talent coming to them they
13:35have ADP Cintas president Club winners
13:38who've made hundreds of thousands of
13:39dollars coming and applying to them
13:41because they want to work there
13:43they're not out at ADP being like please
13:45come here right some recruiters might be
13:47but those top companies are because
13:49they're the best
13:50it's the pool they get it compared to
13:52like that's the problem with a lot of
13:54these lazy people that listen and like
13:56people who want to break into this
13:57industry they're like I'm pretty good
13:58they'll just come after me nobody's
14:01coming after you man like nobody wants
14:03you like you're not you're not God's
14:04gift to this earth and if you are you
14:06you gotta prove that just sitting there
14:09is no good so that's the conversation
14:11and Hayden's so dead on with that is if
14:14you guys are wanting to break into this
14:15industry it's by the work you're gonna
14:16do not buy what you think
14:18exactly and here's another thing is you
14:22genuinely are not offering them anything
14:23they have everything you have nothing so
14:27even if your resume is the best that it
14:29could possibly be you should be doing
14:31200 more than any other applicant you
14:34should be looking at the competition
14:35like I'm going up against Jacob
14:38am I going to get this job with what I'm
14:40doing right now and the answer is
14:42probably no you need to be doing more
14:44you need to be networking every day like
14:46we were just talking about one of my
14:48goals was every Monday I didn't even
14:50know this at first and if you don't know
14:51this you need to figure it out
14:53LinkedIn has connection request limits
14:55on how much you can send every week you
14:58need to find that limit every Monday and
15:01reach it and then after that send out
15:03your messages with every single person
15:04you connect with because
15:06again your life should be LinkedIn and
15:08Google Calendar among other apps to get
15:11to know people to build relationships to
15:13build that funnel so you can really get
15:16your name out there yep and it's so true
15:18to everybody that's listening it's it's
15:20you guys always ask me what the secret
15:21is Bam we play that right it's LinkedIn
15:25it's messaging people I got told I was a
15:26robot a million times on uh LinkedIn
15:29right and this luckily mine wasn't
15:30wasn't a it was a daily it wasn't a
15:32weekly at that point with LinkedIn so I
15:34just maxed out over 100 people a day on
15:36request and sending out and then
15:38messages uh but yeah like Hayden's 100
15:40right you guys need to be reaching out
15:42to people you need to be exploring what
15:44other options there are you can't be
15:45sitting still and like Hayden just said
15:47I say this to a lot of people who reach
15:49out to me you go up against me let me
15:51just make this clear I'm going to crush
15:53your soul not in a mean way but in the
15:55interview process I'm going to crush
15:56your soul now go up against an interview
15:59with me right and if you think and I say
16:02this out of like laughing but it's the
16:03truth
16:04if you think you've done everything
16:07it's it's that goes back to the quote by
16:09Tim Grover that went viral by the
16:11Georgia Tech uh strength coach it's
16:13losers do barely enough work and think
16:15they did enough to win winners work as
16:18hard as they can and they still think
16:19they haven't done enough
16:21right that's something to like really
16:23think about because even when I went in
16:25I was like I knew I flipped over every
16:27single Stone I say that flip over every
16:28single Stone so there's not even a
16:30question when people go up that's why
16:32like even this will go into detail you
16:34know you guys are listening I'm gonna
16:35just give you a little teaser like why I
16:37get other job offers it's because I go
16:39in and I don't leave another option it's
16:41me it's no one else and like I was
16:44talking to Hayden when I do my other
16:45stuff I'm not comparing myself to other
16:47people it's me versus me I'm the best
16:49that there is and that's what I believe
16:51because I'm going to do all the work
16:52right and it's it's what we talked about
16:54why why you get job offers why Hayden
16:57got you guys are listening to him
16:59as a college senior
17:01and why he got two job offers with the
17:03top companies in the world right it's
17:06the mindset it's the not being lazy it's
17:08the work ethic it's it's going after and
17:10being one percent better every single
17:11day and know what knowing there's
17:13competition loving it and saying I'm not
17:16gonna lose because it's what we talk
17:17about every day this is competition and
17:19guess what you put me in the room with
17:20the top dog let's go I'm not backing
17:24down once I'm gonna go and if I get my
17:26butt whooped guess what I'll be pissed
17:27walk off the court and I'm gonna look at
17:29and reflect on what I did to get my butt
17:31kicked and next time we go I'm not
17:32getting my butt kicked right that's the
17:34mindset you guys always have to have
17:36exactly and you seriously for those that
17:38are listening you shouldn't be going to
17:40bed unless you've done 110 every day and
17:44going to bed even even if you did that
17:46110 thinking what can I do more to
17:49impress to build my my profile to make
17:53me the very best candidate because when
17:55I was applying I didn't have nearly as
17:57much as a lot of these people that were
17:59applying and I just knew that and I also
18:02knew I'm going to do 10 times as much
18:05work as anybody else and I even said
18:07that during interviews I looked them in
18:08the eye and I was like I don't care who
18:11you're interviewing because I am going
18:13to do more work than they will ever do
18:16yep and that's the and I said this to I
18:18say this to people all the time and they
18:19don't like to hear it in this world if
18:21you do not have sales experience
18:23which is the majority of you guys
18:25because that's why you're listening to
18:26this right it's I didn't either
18:27you're gonna work harder than everybody
18:29else
18:31and if you don't like that don't do it
18:32cool all right you just made the plane
18:34feel way easier for other people right I
18:36same thing with Hayden I told people I
18:38know I'm gonna have to work 10 times
18:39harder because I don't have what they
18:41want I'm gonna have to reach out to 10
18:42times amount of people
18:44right all right it's time to get going
18:46we're sitting a whine about it's not
18:48gonna give me any more emails and
18:49anywhere closer so Hayden's dead on and
18:52again so he went into detail like when I
18:54asked what he did that's what he was
18:55doing guys that's what he was doing to
18:57stand out during the interview process
19:00now with that said Hayden
19:02what are some of the tips that you could
19:04literally be like because after this
19:05podcast it's it's I love it it's
19:07fortunate I have people just message me
19:09today they're gonna reach out to you
19:10right they're gonna reach out and be
19:12like Hayden I listen to your podcast on
19:14with Jacob it was awesome hey can I ask
19:16you a few questions right
19:18what's your advice to those people that
19:20are gonna reach out and when they say
19:21what can I do whether they and I always
19:23say it because you and I both know this
19:25because you've done it right it doesn't
19:26matter if you have sales experience or
19:27you don't have sales experience what are
19:29the little things or what are pinpoints
19:31that these people can do
19:33to help them stand out and help them
19:34start getting interviews and eventually
19:36get hired
19:38do research like look at who you are
19:41going to be applying for do research on
19:43the company do research on the career or
19:45the division
19:46for your like whatever you're applying
19:48for and then find the people within
19:49those divisions connect with them on
19:51LinkedIn start messaging them get to
19:52know the team before you even get in the
19:55interview process because if you do that
19:56you might get an opportunity to
19:58interview before the job listing is even
20:00up in the air and that's one of the
20:02biggest things that's how you can really
20:03set yourself apart especially if you
20:05don't have sales experience for me I
20:07knew that I wanted to go into med device
20:09sales and so I picked up a tech sales
20:12job because I wanted to set myself apart
20:13and then I started listening at 8am
20:15every morning to multiple podcasts about
20:18Med device sales and sales in general so
20:20I could understand the lingo I could
20:21understand what it took to be successful
20:23and then on top of that I was looking at
20:25my Google Calendar and scouring it every
20:27day scouring LinkedIn of what do I have
20:30today who am I going to be talking to
20:31what pinpoints do I need to be asking
20:33them or what questions should I be
20:35asking how can I be successful in this
20:36role because they're not hiring the next
20:39associate sales rep or sales associate
20:41they're hiring the next the next rep or
20:44the next manager or the next division
20:46head of the West Coast or east coast
20:48they want someone that's going to be
20:50there and succeed so you have to have
20:52that in your mind I love that and guys
20:55please just go back and listen to that
20:56again because the thing I want you guys
20:57to keep hearing from Hayden being
20:59prepared working hard not letting it
21:01like you know we talked about oh I'm
21:03just gonna see what happens you're gonna
21:04get your butt whooped if you see what
21:06happens right because there's people
21:07like Hayden who are coming prepared
21:09every single day are attacking the day
21:10had a plan knew who they were talking to
21:12right like that's my number one
21:13complaint I tell you guys the amount of
21:15people that listen to this podcast
21:16listen to One reach out to me and
21:17they're like so what do you do who do
21:20you work for I'm like literally have
21:21over 100 episodes at this point go back
21:23and listen to them right it's literally
21:24Hayden would do that he could literally
21:27do the bare minimum and do a 15 second
21:29LinkedIn search and he would know them
21:30more than most people because he just
21:32took the time to care and be like oh I
21:34see this person's worked at these three
21:36companies had this much experience let
21:37me ask these two questions about that
21:39bam he just stood out and so please go
21:43back listen to what Hayden just said
21:45listen to it because because again
21:46there's a reason he got as a college
21:48senior two top companies reaching out to
21:50him that doesn't happen to many people
21:52getting job offers multiple with no
21:55sales experience no and just not even
21:56being in the real world yet being in
21:58sale or being in uh College still right
22:00so again Hayden just congratulations to
22:03you man I'm so excited for you and I
22:04know you could absolutely crush it
22:06yeah thank you so much I really
22:07appreciate it and again for those
22:09listening buy Jacob's book because I use
22:11that as a Bible and then I built on it
22:14and it got me so much farther in the
22:16process I love that appreciate that man
22:18thank you so much and Hayden if they're
22:20if they're wanting to reach out to you
22:21where can they find you
22:23uh they can find me on LinkedIn I I
22:25think Hayden smart should bring it up
22:27immediately it does um yep okay perfect
22:30so just look me up there message me I'll
22:32accept it and then we can hop on a call
22:33at any time yeah and you guys it guys
22:35just like and girls just so you know
22:37again like I've said this a million
22:38times please feel come prepared right
22:41Hayden's gonna be busy he's an associate
22:43he's going to be working hard right you
22:45guys can't just
22:46what's up you know like I I just
22:48messaged somebody the other day
22:50um again I was very respectful about it
22:52but they were just trying to have small
22:52talk in my LinkedIn messages I literally
22:55get 30 messages a day and I messaged the
22:58person back and I said hey can I help
22:59you with something because if I don't do
23:00small talk you want to hop on a call
23:01we'll get on a call right but it's got
23:03to be straight to the point what are we
23:04talking about here we go because we're
23:06everybody's busy everybody's got stuff
23:07to do in their life
23:09um but that way you can help yourself
23:10stand out again that's what it's about
23:12doing showing that you're a real
23:13go-getter so please if you do reach out
23:15to Hayden don't be a creep show we don't
23:17like those on the show um no weirdos
23:19please but also come prepared um and

23:34course today we literally have just one
23:36spot left in July um and then I'm
23:38shutting it off and then we're going
23:39into August and so what's it what's
23:41exciting about the course is again I
23:43just was telling Hayden you know I just
23:45got a call one of our guys he got in
23:46four weeks ago he now has uh three
23:49interviews uh he's in the two of the
