0:00This video will explain the concept of Interacting with Teammates,
0:04one of the Five CATME Teamwork Dimensions.
0:07Interacting with Teammates is defined as providing positive interactions within
0:11the team that contribute to a supportive environment.
0:14This dimension is measured by the amount the team member listens to and respects
0:18their other team members and their ideas, their communication with their team,
0:22their participation and attitude during team activities,
0:25and how they respond to feedback from other team members.
0:28To excel in this dimension, you need to behave appropriately in meetings.
0:32This can be done through active listening or showing that you're paying
0:35attention and are fully engaged, communicating the proper information
0:38clearly, and being silent to allow others to talk and think.
0:43Creating a safe environment for team members is also very important.
0:46This can be done through providing encouragement or enthusiasm to your team,
0:50welcoming and respecting advice and feedback, asking team members for
0:54contributions and ideas, and making sure both you and your team
0:58members are understood. Thank you for watching! Please fill out
