0:29Hey. Down. Down.

0:53[music]

1:08Baby,

1:14baby.

1:28You're in the 0610

1:31focus. [music]

1:32Fantasy

1:35fantasy focus.

1:39>> What's up friends? Welcome into fantasy

1:41focus football alongside Mike Clay and

1:43Field Jates. My name is Daniel Dopp.

1:45Very excited to bring a Thursday episode

1:48week two preview part one, my friends.

1:52Diving into a bunch of the games today.

1:54We got a lot on tap, but first and

1:55foremost, guys,

1:56>> also a Thursday night football game. How

1:58are you doing?

1:59>> I'm great. I I'm I'm actually curious

2:00how you're doing. Uh you we had this

2:02conversation, I think after the show

2:04yesterday

2:05>> about whether you enjoy when your

2:07beloved team plays on Thursday Night

2:09Football or if you prefer for them to

2:11play on Sunday.

2:12>> Strong take on this.

2:13>> You did. Yeah.

2:14>> Yes. I do not like Thursday night

2:16football. Not because the quality of

2:18football isn't great, but because I wait

2:20all week for that Sunday ritual of

2:22football. There is a ritual for me of

2:24watching my team on Sundays. The only

2:26time I'm okay breaking that is Monday

2:29night football when the entire country

2:31wants to watch the game.

2:32>> Yeah, fair. Okay.

2:33>> So, that's where I'm at on this one.

2:34However, that means I get to watch all

2:36the games equally on Sunday without the

2:38Lions play. So, that's nice. And you

2:39know, you could pull off a pretty big

2:42upset tonight if they go into the new

2:43Bill Stadium. They'll be a trivia answer

2:46for a long time. The first game in the

2:48new Bill Stadium.

2:49>> Ah, true.

2:50>> Look at that. Say Lions.

2:52>> Haven't the Bills like won more games in

2:54Metife Stadium than the Jets have in

2:56like the last two years or something?

2:58Isn't there some like ridiculous like,

2:59you know, the

3:01>> I'm probably wrong in that one, but um

3:03interesting. Yeah, I I I actually enjoy

3:05watching all standalone games. I I would

3:08have thought that you'd prefer to have

3:09them stand alone tonight because of the

3:11ability to watch all games sort of

3:12equally come Sunday, but I cannot wait

3:14for this one. Tonight is going to be

3:16fun.

3:16>> We'll talk about some bills in just a

3:18moment. We have some news though.

3:19>> We do. First and foremost, a shout out

3:21to our buddies at Trophy Smack. 10% off

3:23with the promo code trophy week 2. Go

3:25over to trophymack.com. Grab something

3:26from them like this super cool belt that

3:28we got here on our desk.

3:30>> Mike requested a snake skin belt and

3:32trophy snack said, "Sweet." Yeah,

3:34>> we'll get you one soon. Do I get that

3:35for being first and starts of the week

3:37in week one? Is that how that works?

3:39>> No, you don't.

3:42>> Fantasy focus show league. How'd you do

3:44in that

3:45>> show? I did not do good.

3:46>> Okay.

3:46>> I'm off to There you go.

3:48>> All right. I'm off to a slow start, but

3:49that happened last year, too. And it

3:50ended well. So, we'll

3:51>> we're not going to talk much about the

3:53focus show league week to week, but I

3:55will just note that I think I scored the

3:57second most points in the league this

3:58week.

3:58>> Good for you.

3:59>> And lost to Liz by 40.

4:00>> Oh, [laughter] bying. Liz absolutely

4:03dominated my team. Put up 155 and she

4:06put up 195.

4:08>> That's unreal.

4:09>> So Liz officially the team to beat.

4:11>> She crushed me in uh the Countdown

4:13League as well. Fantasy focus countdown

4:14league. Yeah, she's pretty good at

4:16things coming up Liz right now.

4:17>> You know who else is good at football

4:18but may not be available here in week

4:20two. Nico Collins, guys, we found out

4:23today

4:24>> may be uh missing here in week two. Uh

4:27banged up, hurt his hamstring injury in

4:29Wednesday's practice.

4:30>> Yep. I think it sounds safe to say that

4:32if you have Nico Collins, you should

4:34probably consider making other plans

4:35just for this week. Although, it sounds

4:37like they avoided potentially long-term

4:39uh injury here with

4:40>> Yeah. So, this is like good news, bad

4:41news, right? Like you see a player get

4:43added to the injury report because of an

4:45injury that took place during practice

4:46and you immediately think to yourself,

4:48am I going to be without my wide

4:49receiver one or two for a month or could

4:52he play this upcoming weekend? It sounds

4:53like probably not this weekend, but not

4:55a major injury. Hamstrings for wide

4:57receivers make you a little bit nervous

4:58here. The reason why I wanted to address

5:00this is I suppose there are players you

5:03could be making a decision upon tonight

5:06going into Thursday Night Football for

5:07Nico Collins. But more importantly is do

5:09we see anybody not named Nico Collins

5:12and of course Jaden Higgins that would

5:14be worth adding off of waiverss right

5:16now that could potentially impact a

5:19league as deep excuse me as shallow as

5:2110 teams.

5:21>> Yeah. So I don't think we're going to

5:23have anyone ranked as a good flex

5:25option. The problem is they're going to

5:26rotate I think four guys through a wide

5:28receiver. You look at the routes from

5:29last week. 33 for Nico. He was first.

5:31Xavier Hutchinson 28. Kan Booty 23.

5:35Jaylen Null 12. Jared Wayne who will be

5:38mixed in as well. Maybe a good Raheem

5:39Sanders pick there. We're down the total

5:41poll. Although Xavier Hutchinson's still

5:42under 1% as well. He was at six. So I

5:45think all four guys will be involved in

5:46this one. If I had to choose, I'd

5:48probably pick the the explosive

5:50playmaker Kahan Booty. You you know,

5:52maybe hit for a long uh play, but

5:54otherwise I'm probably going to avoid.

5:55But the good news is they have

5:56respectable depth here. So they can hold

5:58down the Ford for a week.

6:00>> All right. So the Texans play the

6:01Bengals. There's also some news on the

6:03Bengals side, Daniel, which involves the

6:04quarterback, Joe Burrow.

6:05>> Yeah. Dealing with some back soreness,

6:07unfortunately, trying to carry the

6:08Bengals in week one, and it hurt him

6:10here in this one.

6:11>> Actually, their defense,

6:11>> the defense did. Yeah.

6:12>> Yeah. We're going to keep an eye on that

6:14one obviously to see what's going to

6:15happen here. Expects to play Sunday at

6:17Houston. But I'll tell you what, we

6:18already had him way down our rankings to

6:21begin with because of this matchup. If I

6:23feel like he's banged up going into it,

6:25I'm probably just going to remove Joe

6:26Burrow altogether. Maybe not from my

6:28rankings. He'll probably be like a low

6:2920s guy.

6:30>> Yeah, but I would say for now, like if

6:33you have Joe Burrow as your normal

6:34starter and you haven't already added a

6:36backup quarterback,

6:37>> yes,

6:38>> because of the matchup, which I know

6:40Josh Allen did not make it look like a

6:41tough matchup, but we still believe it's

6:43a very tough matchup burrow and this

6:45health status,

6:47>> let's let's make a plan here. Whether

6:48it's a Bryce Young off of waiverss,

6:50maybe a Daniel Jones, maybe, you know,

6:52whoever, you know, Jared Goff playing

6:53tonight, like these are some names to

6:55consider. uh if you have Joe Burrow as

6:58not just your starter but your only

6:59quarterback on the roster. On top of

7:01that, if Joe is out, we'll talk more

7:04tomorrow, which he won't be, but he

7:05expects to play. We'll talk just in

7:06general more tomorrow about these wide

7:09receivers and what their forecast is for

7:12the upcoming weekend.

7:13>> Yeah, agree. Joe Flacco, you know, as

7:15far as backups go

7:17>> to hold down, but yeah, not worried

7:19about more worried about Nico, but uh

7:20we'll keep an eye on this one.

7:21Congratulations on being 0 for one in

7:23properly pronouncing Joe Flacco's last

7:26name.

7:26>> Would you rather have Baker Mayfield

7:28right now in week two or Joe Burrow?

7:30>> Yeah, we again we already had Burrow as

7:32a sit, so this kind of makes it an

7:33easier sit.

7:34>> Yeah, makes it makes it an easier sit

7:36than it already was. Okay, got it. All

7:38right, let's talk about Thursday Night

7:40Football, my friends. Bills and Lions.

7:43>> This is going to be a really fun one

7:45here.

7:46>> Lineup blocks in this one include

7:48basically everybody. Holy smokes, that's

7:50a full page.

7:51>> Josh Allen, Jamir Gibbs, James Cook,

7:53Aman Ross, St. Brown, DJ Moore, Jameson

7:56Williams, Sam Leaporta. All of them are

7:59lineup blocks on this one. That is

8:00>> good looking fantasy team right there.

8:02That's a whole team right now.

8:03Seriously, that really is.

8:04>> That is a squad in and of itself. So,

8:06who are we really making conversations

8:07about in this one? I guess we're

8:09probably looking at Daltton Concaid with

8:10what he did in week one.

8:12>> Mike, how you feeling? What do you have

8:13as his projection after? Because we've

8:14seen Daltton Concade do this before.

8:16We've seen the pockets of the big games.

8:17I think he's startable for sure. He's a

8:19borderline tight end one at this point.

8:21I drew I know you talked about this a

8:23little bit yesterday, but an impressive

8:24week one, 130 yards on six targets.

8:27We've seen that before from him. Last

8:28year he had 14 plus fantasy points six

8:30times, but he was had a ton of duds as

8:33well. You know, he's just been all over

8:34the map. The reason playing time, but

8:36here's a few numbers for you.

8:38>> He played 77% of the offensive snaps.

8:40Last year he was at 39%. He

8:42[clears throat] was on the field for 71%

8:44of their pass plays. Actually, his route

8:46participation was 71%. So, we're not

8:48even counting plays where he pass

8:50blocked. That's up from 47% last season.

8:53Both of those numbers in the 70s were

8:55his highest since midway through 2024.

8:58It's been a long time. So, that was a

9:01big change for Dalton Concaid last week.

9:03That gives me a lot of hope that he can

9:05jump into the mid-range tight end one

9:06conversation. And what the Lions do

9:08against the Saints tight ends last week,

9:10Daniel?

9:11>> Not good. Seven for 87 and two

9:13touchdowns. Noah Fant got in on the

9:15action as well. Yes, he did. So, good

9:17spot here for Concaid. If I scooped him

9:19up off waiverss or I drafted him, I

9:21would certainly consider strongly uh

9:23streaming him this week.

9:24>> All right, so that's like the micro

9:25story, right? Is like we need Daltton

9:27Concaid to live up to what he showed in

9:29week one. Let's talk more macro right

9:31now, guys. Let's talk about the

9:32important thing here tonight is that we

9:35are how many hours? Less than just about

9:3810 hours away from kickoff right now.

9:40And what we are, I think, is on paper

9:43the fantasy friendliest game in this

9:46incredibly early season. We're

9:48[clears throat] what, 16 games into the

9:50NFL year.

9:50>> Yep.

9:51>> We need you guys to live up to the hype.

9:53All right. I need Josh Allen, 30 burger

9:55tonight. I need Jerry Goff, four

9:57touchdown passes. Jir Gibbs, just do

9:58what you do normally and you'll be just

10:00fine. JMO, no egg this week. There's no

10:03bagel. All right. We need a big day here

10:05from Jameson Williams. We need Sam

10:07Leaporter to find the end zone tonight.

10:08I need 70 points scored in real life

10:11between these two teams tonight. That is

10:12what tonight's game is all about.

10:14>> I feel like what you need is what

10:15happened last time. I think we even have

10:16a full screen of what it looked like the

10:18last time these two teams played. It was

10:2048 to 42, guys.

10:22>> Okay, so give me this. I asked, give me

10:2590.

10:25>> Jared Goff 494 and five touchdowns. Aman

10:29Ross St. Brown 14 catches for 193 yards

10:32and a touchdown. Leaporta seven for 111.

10:35>> Not too much to ask, Sammy. J Mo had

10:37three for 37 and a touchdown. Josh Allen

10:40363, two passing touchdowns, plus 68

10:42rushing yards and two rushing

10:44touchdowns.

10:44>> All right, so doing some quick math

10:46there. That's 6.8. That's

10:47>> He had over 40 points on that one. Both

10:49him and G had over 40 points.

10:51>> No big deal.

10:52>> James Cook had 105 yards and two rushing

10:54touchdowns in this one. Oh, Ty Johnson,

10:56five catches for 114 yards. Don't remind

10:59me.

10:59>> All right, so we need this.

11:00>> This is exactly what we are hoping for

11:02is the last time they played is this

11:03game right here.

11:03>> He only won 70 though. He hates offense.

11:05That's weird. [laughter] I want I want

11:0770 in the first half is what I what I'm

11:10asking for. I'm not trying to be guil

11:11greedy here. I just want we need a

11:13fantasy bonanza, right? Like we Dton

11:15Kade concaid I agree. Like I'm glad Mike

11:16brought up the only conversation.

11:18>> But everything else just give me points.

11:19All right. Which means we're trending

11:21towards a 13 to 10 grinded out victory

11:23where Tyler M somehow kicks four field

11:25goals and an extra point.

11:26>> So much energy here now. I'm like, do I

11:28start concade or Tyler Warren? Like it's

11:30now I just want to start now. I want

11:32more pieces.

11:33>> There's so much hype around it. There. I

11:34won.

11:35>> All right. Won it all.

11:36>> Guys, in the new stadium, first game in

11:38this new stadium for the Buffalo Bills,

11:40who are you taking to win this one?

11:41>> I am taking the Buffalo Bills at home.

11:43>> Sorry, Daniel.

11:44>> Sorry, Daniel. Yeah, I'm going Bills by

11:46two. Close.

11:46>> I think that's what you guys have to do.

11:48I think that's the appropriate pick.

11:49>> Yeah, that's weird. You pick the Lions.

11:51>> In fact, the Detroit Lions to win. Well,

11:53listen, someone's got to be the bad guy.

11:55>> Like, if you don't ride for your team,

11:56what is the point of being a

11:57>> Exactly. Absolutely.

11:58>> You could be 0 and n Bills team, you

12:01should be taking Detroit. Absolutely.

12:02100%. maybe two top five teams in the

12:05NFL, too. So, certainly once the Lions

12:06defense gets healthier, you know, these

12:08are two power powerhouse teams.

12:10>> All right, let's dive into our week two

12:12preview part one here. We got a bunch of

12:15games to dive into, my friends. We're

12:17going to start with the Jacksonville

12:19Jaguars

12:20>> and the Denver Broncos.

12:22>> Do a fun one.

12:23>> How many lineup blocks do we have in

12:24this one? Jaylen Waddles. Jaylen Wallace

12:26still lineup block after what happened

12:27in week one.

12:28>> He's he he Let's just talk about this.

12:31missed the show on on Tuesday and you

12:32guys gave some of this energy. So, let

12:34me just reiterate it.

12:35>> Actually, you read the full lineup

12:36blocks and I'll talk about Jaylen Wadd.

12:38>> Jaylen Waddle, wide receiver 23,

12:39Courtland Sutton, wide receiver 31, and

12:41Parker Washington obviously on the other

12:42side. Definitely a lineup block at wide

12:44receiver 27 for our consensus consensus

12:46rankings field. Go ahead and take the

12:48stage.

12:49>> All right. So, one game is not enough

12:51for us to feel like the Broncos have

12:52like illegitimate plans for Jaylen Wadd

12:55within their offense

12:56>> because they are going to get him going

12:59because they traded the first round pick

13:00for him. Like, it needs to happen. And

13:02if for some reason it doesn't, then I

13:03will readjust my stance and be like,

13:05"This was an absolutely ridiculous move

13:07to make for a roster that was so good

13:09that the value you were getting in a

13:11first round pick to address one of your

13:13other minor needs." Because I wouldn't

13:15say that wide receiver was like this

13:17absolutely game-changing need for

13:19Denver. A wide receiver one who could

13:21stretch the field if you actually threw

13:22him the ball down the field would be

13:24useful. But Bo Knicks, uh-uh, no more.

13:26Can't be playing like the Bon Knicks we

13:28saw too often last year. Like Monday

13:29night was forgettable of the highest

13:31order. There were a couple of year three

13:33quarterbacks that really did not, you

13:34know, Drake May, Jaden Daniels, Bon

13:36Knicks.

13:36>> More questions than answers after week

13:38one for those three guys. Caleb

13:40Williams, you're good. Um, we need it

13:42though. Jaylen Waddle is going to be a

13:43factor for this Denver Broncos offense.

13:45It starts on Sunday. It is a I think

13:48this this Jaguars defense is pretty

13:49legit, but that Chiefs defense just had

13:52so many more answers schematically than

13:53I think most defenses will present for

13:55the Broncos. I think Jaylen Wadd gets on

13:57track.

13:57>> Yeah, I'm weirdly not worried about this

13:59unless you really think that Davis Webb

14:01can't call a game and is just going to

14:02blow. But if that keeps happening,

14:04they'll make they'll go back to Shawn

14:05Peen. So, I'm just not worried. I mean,

14:07think about last year. I mean, Courtland

14:08the last two years has been terrific

14:10with Bo Knicks. Also, your guy Troy

14:12Franklin was pretty relevant for a big

14:14chunk of last season. I I I mean, I'm

14:16just not really sweating this one at

14:17all. I haven't really moved the needle

14:18on Waddle. They're going to get him

14:19involved. To your point, Bonx is good

14:21enough to get him the ball. It was a

14:23really tough matchup. It was in Kansas

14:24City against a division rival. That game

14:26was a disaster. They're going to get

14:28back on track soon and perhaps this week

14:30at home. Maybe you guys have never met

14:32anyone that's played fantasy football

14:33before. But

14:34>> but sometimes week one overreactions

14:37cause you to think about things that you

14:39would normally not do. And three

14:41targets, one catch for two yards from

14:43Jaylen Wadd.

14:44>> There's a bad drop there, too.

14:45>> Would at least feel like emotionally

14:46like did I did I just get this wrong?

14:48Did we all overthink this? I'm not

14:50disagreeing with you guys. I'm just

14:51saying that I think that's a bigger

14:53question than you're letting on because

14:54people are like

14:55>> so rude on [laughter] the screen right

14:57now.

14:57>> No, that's so mean.

14:59>> By the way, two things. First of all,

15:00this isn't like Marvin Harrison Jr.

15:02coming in in the NFL. But we've seen

15:03Wadd play for a long time. He's a very

15:05good player. Uh we know that for sure.

15:07And um the other part is something I'm

15:10forgetting.

15:11>> I'll tell you what you're forgetting.

15:12I'll just take it from you, Mike. Um

15:14have you guys seen this tweet? I I got

15:15to be honest with you. The joke is made

15:17like once a week on fantasy Twitter and

15:18it still makes me laugh where someone

15:20will start with like a leading headline

15:22like Marvin Harrison Jr. is a baller.

15:25Here are the only wide receivers I'm

15:27starting over him in week two. And

15:29because Twitter now allows you to use as

15:30many characters as you want, it goes

15:32through like 50 receivers. [laughter]

15:34>> And then the bottom I saw this on

15:35Twitter. I forget who it was and it was

15:37like the last one was Xavier Worthy or

15:38something or Khalil Shakir and it was

15:40like

15:41>> that's it. [laughter]

15:43>> 51 guys content. So good.

15:45>> All right. Yeah. So, but Jaylen Wadd the

15:47Broncos have to get it going with Jaylen

15:49Wadd. I hope that this is one of those

15:51funky week one things that we look back

15:52on and we're can you believe the Broncos

15:55got gobsmacked by the Chiefs 31 to10 in

15:58Monday Night Football in week one. One

16:00note from the Broncos that we can talk

16:01about more further if we need to

16:03tomorrow. RJ Harvey was a

16:05non-participant in an estimated practice

16:08report on Wednesday. So we have our

16:09antenna up a little bit more about one

16:12of the Broncos running backs.

16:13>> How does just last thing and then we'll

16:16talk about Jaguars. Um, how does Clay

16:18eye take into effect that Shawn Peyton's

16:21wife drafted Jaylen Wadd? And

16:23>> no, how about that?

16:24>> He he needs to get involved in week two.

16:26Otherwise, Shawn Peyton's sleeping on

16:27the couch.

16:27>> Yeah. Slightly higher target share for

16:29Jack because of that. It does bump it.

16:30I'll call a little bit.

16:31>> He'll call an extra play or two or

16:33Davis. Can you believe that though?

16:34That's pretty cool, actually.

16:35>> You tell your I mean, it's great. It's

16:36awesome. But it's like you tell your

16:38wife to draft this guy and then he has

16:39one catch.

16:40>> That's not good. That's not good.

16:42>> By the way, speaking of looking back and

16:43being like, "Oh, do you remember when

16:44that happened?" First of all, like

16:46remember last year what happened in week

16:47one went off as a pass.

16:48>> Well, that too, but also the the

16:49Patriots lost to the Raiders and then

16:51went to Super Bowl. But I tweeted right

16:52after the Chargers lost to Arizona. I

16:54was like, the Chargers are definitely

16:55going to the Super Bowl now, right? Like

16:56they're definitely so we can look back

16:58at that and be like, remember when they

16:59lost to the Cardinals in week one at the

17:02Super Bowl if the Chargers make it to a

17:04Chargers, Rams, I mean, there you go. At

17:06in the LA stadium.

17:07>> Tough commute. Yeah.

17:08>> Mike, what's going on with the Jaguars

17:09running backs? Will you see enough in

17:10week one either way to have one of them

17:12projected as a startable option here in

17:14>> Yeah. So I actually looked remember we

17:16talked about this Monday a little bit

17:17and we were like we saw a lot of Chris

17:18Rodriguez early and it seemed like maybe

17:20he was the lead back but I looked at

17:21actually like playbyplay through and

17:23that was actually not the case. Bashaw

17:24Ton was plenty involved. He was on the

17:26field a lot so it was it was more even

17:27early on and then Ton kind of took

17:29control in the second half. So I don't

17:31think it was an element of kind of

17:32protecting lead back Chris Rodriguez. I

17:34think Toutton is their elite back but

17:36they did use four running backs you

17:38know.

17:38>> Yeah. Lquint Allen and Demir.

17:39>> Yeah, they combined for six snaps, but

17:41it's clear they're going to use those

17:42guys in some sort of capacity. They're

17:43going to get a series here or there in

17:44obvious passing situations, but they

17:46did. Yeah, six snaps for them. Tuton

17:48played 27, 23 for Rodriguez, but again,

17:50Tuton had a nice edge in carries, 15 to

17:52six, and it was pretty even in routes. I

17:54would like to see more Toutton routes.

17:56It was nine for him, 10 for Rodriguez.

17:58They combined for one target. That has

18:00to increase for Tuton if he's going to

18:01be a serviceable uh RB2. Tuton did play

18:04well. He had 88 yards on 16 touches in

18:07this game and now goes up against the

18:10Denver Broncos. Yes, they were crushed

18:12by Ken Walker. I get it. But, you know,

18:15remember early last season the Broncos

18:17were crushed by Marian Hampton and

18:19Jonathan Taylor. They two awful games

18:20against them. Yeah, they had the fewest

18:22fantasy points and running backs last

18:23season. Even with those games included.

18:25So, um this is still a very tough

18:27defense. They're going on the road here.

18:28Uh I'm a little low on Tootton this

18:30week. I'm an RB 31. So, I think he's not

18:33the greatest flex option, but there was

18:35enough there in week one that there's

18:36hope that he can get into that

18:37conversation in neutral matchups moving

18:39forward.

18:40>> Ideally, you don't have to play either

18:42of these right now. The ranks reflect

18:43that.

18:44>> You just have better options available

18:45to you.

18:45>> Yeah. Right now, yeah. Yeah. And Chris

18:47Rodriguez, I mean, he only had six

18:48touches in that game. It wasn't much.

18:50You know, he's still

18:51>> a little bit of a throwaway for the J

18:52the Jaguars backfield though because

18:54they just

18:55>> little bit

18:55>> maybe. But again, you might think that

18:57they would lean more on Rodriguez in a

18:59situation like that. So I I don't when

19:00they're ahead. Like that seems like what

19:01he was there for. So I don't know. Maybe

19:03they they're also telling us Jon's the

19:05guy. But for now, tough matchup. I'm

19:07going to avoid this one. I'm picking the

19:08Broncos.

19:09>> I'm picking the Broncos. Uh picking the

19:12Jaguars. Sorry.

19:14>> Okay. Okay. I'm also taking the Jaguars

19:16in this one.

19:17>> Would you have picked if if this game

19:18was week one, would you have picked the

19:19Jags? You think?

19:20>> Uh I would have picked the Broncos

19:22probably.

19:22>> Yeah. So you're kind of moving the

19:23needle a little bit. I haven't moved.

19:24Okay, that's fair. I mean, I could

19:25totally see the Jags.

19:26>> Must win for the Broncos.

19:28>> Who do they play in week three? and

19:29start 0 and2 I don't know who is it

19:30>> Rams Sunday night got to have those 0

19:32and three is

19:34>> Rams might have a must win themselves on

19:35Monday night against the Gmen

19:37>> let's talk about the next really

19:38exciting game on the slate Steelers

19:40Patriots

19:42>> it's a fun one

19:43>> lot of line in this one

19:46>> Stevenson and us the fantasy focus

19:48countdown show

19:49>> that's right a reminder or a note

19:51perhaps that Trevon Henderson is now

19:53back practicing in full for the Patriots

19:55so Raandre if there was no Tvia might be

19:58ranked a few spots higher than RB20.

20:00We'll see how much Trayvon's role

20:03impacts or his presence impacts

20:05Raandre's role. Those are two big long

20:08names to pronounce.

20:09>> They are Raandre Stevenson and

20:12Henderson. And the third guy is Cory

20:13Caner.

20:14>> Like that's different. That's different.

20:16>> Oh, next Cory Caner. Cory Caner.

20:18>> Big story here obviously and everyone

20:19knows this. AJ Brown going to miss a

20:21number of weeks placed on IR.

20:23>> We don't have Drake May listed as a

20:25lineup block for this one. And when

20:27we're calling him not a lineup block, we

20:28just call him Drake May. Not Drake.

20:29Drake May be two this week.

20:32>> Without AJ Brown in his offense,

20:35>> Mike, how do you have the receiving core

20:38kind of breaking out with your

20:39projection?

20:40>> Uh, this is I mean, look, you had to Oh,

20:44it is. Oh. Oh, you wanted the receivers.

20:45Yeah, I Pat Fry move here.

20:47>> Um, so I just wanted to pass along some

20:49numbers from last week. Let's note a

20:50couple things. I'll give you the data in

20:52a moment, but let's note that

20:54>> how a team handles an injury within a

20:57game,

20:58>> yep,

20:58>> does not always forecast how they'll

21:00handle an injury when they've known

21:02about it for a full 10 days like the

21:04Patriots will have by Sunday with the AJ

21:06Brown injury. I'm also going to alert

21:07that it's supposed to be

21:09>> nasty weather here on Sunday in New

21:11England. We'll see whether that rain

21:12hits Gillette Stadium. More to come on

21:14Fantasy Focus Countdown. But in those uh

21:18there were 20 passing dropbacks after AJ

21:20Brown got hurt. He got hurt about a

21:22minute and a half into the third

21:23quarter. They had 20 subsequent

21:25dropbacks. Of those 20, M. Hollands and

21:29Romeo Dobs were on the field for all 20

21:31dropbacks.

21:32>> Raandre Stevenson, I'm sorry, Deario

21:34Douglas, Pop Douglas was on the field

21:35for 19 of them. So lots of free receiver

21:37sets. Okay.

21:38>> Uh Randre Stevenson 18 routes run.

21:41Hunter Henry ran 14 routes of those 20

21:43drop backs. And then Len Larrison had uh

21:46one route good enough for one target as

21:48well. So I think that when the Patriots

21:51line up in three wide receiver sets this

21:52upcoming weekend, it's going to be M.

21:55Collins, Romeo Dobs, and Pop Douglas on

21:58the field a ton. Um Romeo Dobs. I know

22:02that his stock is about as low as it

22:03could be after week one for a guy that

22:05signed a massive contract.

22:07>> This is the opportunity to make good on

22:09it, right? It just is. Like Romeo Dobs

22:11got a lot of money this offseason from

22:13the Patriots before AJ Brown was traded

22:15there because they felt like they got an

22:16upgrade on Stfan Diggs. If Stfan Diggs

22:19was still there with the Patriots right

22:20now and AJ Brown was out, we'd be

22:21saying, "Is this guy a top 15 wide

22:23receiver in fantasy for week two?" So

22:26this is Romeo Dobs time to shine. He

22:28better shine or else that contract could

22:30start to age poorly in a hurry. But as

22:32of right now, I rank the Patriots wide

22:34receivers as Romeo Dobs in my flex spot.

22:37M. Collins and Demario Douglas would

22:39only be deeper league considerations. I

22:41would agree with that. I hope they

22:44>> You know what?

22:45>> Go ahead.

22:45>> Save my thought for later.

22:47>> Oh my god.

22:48>> I want to see I want to see one more

22:50>> I know where you're going.

22:51>> See one more wide receiver involved. I'm

22:53going to save that for the end of the

22:54show.

22:54>> What do you want to say on Patri nudge?

22:56Oh yeah. Uh Pat Fmouth. Uh yeah, I felt

22:58good about his usage last week. I think

23:00that this is a guy who after his first

23:02year we thought might be a regular

23:04mid-to-end tight end, one for a long

23:06time. It obviously did not work great in

23:08the Arthur Smith offense, but maybe he's

23:10back in that conversation now. Remember,

23:11John Smith was there last year. He's not

23:13there anymore. Five for 46 and a

23:15touchdown last week on five targets. It

23:17was his best fantasy game since he had

23:1928.1 points in week seven last season.

23:21That was his only game with 12 points

23:23last year. The whole season,

23:25>> but the difference, very much like

23:26Dalton Concaid, is playing time.

23:28>> Last year, his route participation was

23:3054%.

23:32>> This year in week one, 72%. Big change.

23:34That's a big number for a tight end.

23:36That means you're not just out there

23:37again blocking, you're running routes.

23:39So big change for Frier Mouth. Uh gives

23:41me some inspiration to get get back into

23:43that at least the streaming

23:44conversation. There's a lot of names in

23:46that area. Uh but feeling pretty good

23:48about uh that. You're seeing a slightly

23:51different uh route number on this

23:52screen. Some people categorize them a

23:54little differently, but uh I'm at 72%.

23:57Screen says 81%. I like our numbers

24:00better. Wondering if you guys are buying

24:03into narrative street at all here for

24:04Pat Footh.

24:06>> Uh, not really.

24:07>> You're not familiar with the narrative?

24:08I'm not. Yeah,

24:10>> Mike, you're basically a Massachusetts

24:11guy now. You need to know these things.

24:13>> Pat Fmouth

24:14>> played his high school football at

24:16>> Yes.

24:16>> the Brook School in North Andover,

24:18Massachusetts. Okay.

24:19>> He is considered by almost everybody

24:21>> the second

24:22>> you can say Daniel.

24:23>> The second best athlete from the Brook

24:24School in Massachusetts. Obviously

24:25behind Shape and Duke.

24:26>> Yes. You got it. My wife knows that.

24:29Everyone knows I know

24:31>> narrative street in play here. The

24:33Patriots are winning this game by the

24:34way.

24:35>> Um I Yes, the Patriots are winning this

24:37game.

24:37>> Yeah, I have the Patriots as well.

24:38>> This is second time I've said this.

24:41>> Must win for

24:42>> Oh, the producers go with the Steelers.

24:44>> Christina is a Steelers fan.

24:45>> Oh, that's right. She's doing the right

24:46thing.

24:47>> Biased. Okay,

24:48>> she says Steelers. It's a must win for

24:49the Patriots. Jaguars and Bills on the

24:51road after this. So,

24:52>> yes.

24:52>> Oh, boy.

24:53>> All right, let's talk about this next

24:54one. Browns and Bucks. This one's not

24:56very fun, to be honest. There's really

24:59only one conversation really to talk

25:00about with this game.

25:01>> Are you gonna take a phone call?

25:02>> We're gonna throw it up there. Yeah, my

25:04wife Rosie is texting me right now.

25:05You're

25:05>> not interested in strong thoughts on Pat

25:07Fry. No

25:08>> big deal. Uh Browns and Buccaneers

25:10lineup locks. You got a lot of them. And

25:12by a lot, we mean two. It's Bucky Irving

25:14and Acha Ibuka. I don't see anyone from

25:16the Browns up there.

25:17>> Probably. Can you argue with that? You

25:18know what? Until Deshun Watson stops

25:21being the quarterback, are we going to

25:22have a lineup block from the

25:23>> Can you imagine? Can you imagine if they

25:24had a good quarterback like Baker

25:25Mayfield or something? Oh, wait. He's on

25:27the other team in this game.

25:28>> Ken Zampe had some thoughts on that.

25:30>> I think it's actually news that we

25:31drafted Harold Fannon as like tight end

25:33five or six and we legitimately don't

25:36want to play him in week two. I think

25:38there will he will get there. He'll be

25:39okay.

25:39>> Yeah,

25:39>> but right now, sorry, I did not mean to.

25:42>> Um, yeah, for the Browns, like this

25:43feels like one where the upside is low

25:46enough across the board, absent garbage

25:48time, that you can just stay away until

25:49further notice, which might be week

25:51three when they return home and perhaps

25:52they have a new starting quarterback. Uh

25:54the question, if there is really a

25:56question here, is is Bucky Irving just

25:59ready to smash once again? Let's talk

26:01through some of the numbers here on

26:02Bucky in week one. The things that we

26:04liked.

26:05>> Average, excuse me, scored 20.3 fantasy

26:07points, which it's a lot of points and

26:09he was still only RB12 for the week.

26:11Good week for running backs in week one.

26:12>> Good week for NFL offenses.

26:14>> Yes, it was. But importantly for Bucky

26:15Irving, and we did not expect this to be

26:17the case, is that Bucky Irving had seven

26:20targets on just 21 routes in week one.

26:23So, he had a target on a third of his

26:25routes. His seven catches ties his

26:27previous careerh high. It was the second

26:29most catches for any running back in all

26:31of week one, I think. Maybe.

26:34>> Yes, someone had eight.

26:36>> Oh, it was uh was it eight?

26:39>> No.

26:39>> Uh no, Travis Achan. He had eight

26:42targets, didn't he? Or eight, nine

26:43targets?

26:43>> Might have been eight, but bottom line

26:45is it was excellent on the receiving

26:46front there for Bucky Irving. He had 93

26:49total scrimmage yards. And of course

26:51with Bucky Irving playing a lot as a

26:53receiver, it meant very little for

26:55Kenneth Gainwell who had one target on

26:5713 routes. So 61.5% snap share for Bucky

27:01Irving is a good number. Not some

27:02dominant number, but he was very

27:04efficient and very involved in those

27:05snaps.

27:06>> Travis Han did have seven catches.

27:08>> Seven out of nine. Yeah, he had nine

27:10because that game went to overtime

27:11against your Lions, as you know. He was

27:12very busy.

27:13>> You're both going to kick yourself.

27:14>> Did Jir Gibbs have like eight catches

27:16for Robinson?

27:17>> Oh yes. He was the only thing that

27:19worked in that that Falcons off. Eight

27:21for 90 and a touchdown.

27:23>> Wait, so what was he? So Irving was

27:25third. I thought you said he was second.

27:27Tied for second. Got it. Got it. Got it.

27:28Got it. Okay.

27:29>> Yeah, man. All right. Which one you

27:31taking in this one?

27:32>> Oh, come on.

27:33>> Here's the limb.

27:34>> I'm going out on [laughter] it.

27:36>> Buccaneers.

27:37>> I am going with the Buccaneers, too.

27:39>> Buccaneers. All right. Across the board.

27:41Everyone's going with the Buccaneers on

27:42this one.

27:43>> All right. We're going to take a little

27:44bit of time in the mailbag here, but

27:46first a quick shout out to our buddy

27:47Eric Moody. In case you didn't know, on

27:49Sunday mornings, he does an awesome new

27:51show called Fantasy Focus Sunday Kickoff

27:54presented by Lowe's live on the NFL and

27:56ESPN YouTube page starting at 11:30 a.m.

27:59Eastern time to get your lineup set.

28:02It's a great second screen experience

28:04while you're watching Fantasy Focus

28:05Countdown. Head on over there and check

28:07that out and follow our guy at Eric and

28:09Moody. Let's take a couple questions

28:11from our chat now. here. This one comes

28:13from Tyler. Tyler wants to know, "What

28:15do we do with AJ Brown? What scenario do

28:17we hold? What scenario do we trade?"

28:20>> Uh, I Yeah.

28:23>> I I think the only way that you trade is

28:28like

28:29>> it's it's be four games we know for

28:30sure, right?

28:31>> Um, it could be more than that. Some

28:33believe it might be six is what I heard.

28:35Yeah.

28:36>> Um,

28:36>> I would trade you David Montgomery for

28:39AJ Brown.

28:40>> Don't get me started there. Um, I

28:42consider that. Um,

28:44>> so if if you won your week one matchup,

28:46that obviously makes you lean a little

28:47bit more towards hold. This is like a

28:49little bit of a nuance question, right?

28:51So hold to me comes under these

28:53circumstances

28:55independent of your week one results.

28:57>> If you like your roster as it stands

28:58going into week two, just generally

29:00going to hold unless someone makes you

29:02an offer that you're like, why on earth

29:04would this person do this?

29:05>> Yeah. Right. Like just gonna throw a

29:06name out there. Not that this guy was

29:08great in week one, but if somebody

29:09offered you

29:11T. Higgins or Lad Makoni right now,

29:13those are guys who are being drafted

29:15somewhere between like wide receiver 13

29:16and 16 range coming into the season.

29:19Would either of you take T. Higgins or

29:20Lad Makoni for AJ Brown right now? I

29:22would take Lad. So, give you a can I

29:24give you a real uh hypothetical trade

29:26offer that I got?

29:27>> You got one. Okay.

29:27>> Yeah. So, I have Jonathan Taylor.

29:29>> Is it a hypothetical if it's a real

29:30trade offer?

29:31>> Oh, yeah. Good point. No, this is a real

29:33real life hypothetical tradeoff. Well,

29:35it was in the past and has been since uh

29:37I already made a decision on it. I have

29:39Jonathan Taylor. Yep. The person at AJ

29:41Brown offered me AJ Brown. And

29:43>> you ready for this? Marian Hampton

29:45>> for your Jonathan Taylor. Yes.

29:46>> I'm assuming you said no.

29:48>> I said no.

29:48>> Yeah.

29:49>> Yeah. But it's a good one though.

29:50>> Yeah. I want t I mean I want Taylor the

29:52next six weeks over Hampton. I'm It

29:54might work out where I don't know Taylor

29:56only outscores Hampton by let's just say

29:5850 points and AJ Brown comes back and is

30:00a wide receiver one and maybe it would

30:01have worked out but I'm just not gonna

30:03mess with that right That's a That's a

30:04healthy offer though. Over.

30:06>> It was a good offer. I thought about it.

30:08>> I think after week one, generally

30:10speaking, the only time in which you're

30:11making a trade in this scenario is if

30:14it's like it's so obvious that it would

30:16require some lunacy to say no.

30:18>> Sure.

30:18>> Yeah.

30:19>> Right. Like there's so little data.

30:20There's so when it comes to a player

30:23like Taylor or Gibbs or Robins, like

30:26those guys are first round cemented

30:27elite players. It's so hard to to move

30:29on from that. It goes to your point you

30:31make often, right, which is it's not

30:32just that you are it's it's Jonathan

30:34Taylor plus whoever you have as your

30:37next depth

30:38>> receiver. You're not taking a zero for

30:40Brown. Right.

30:40>> Right. So if you drafted I'm just making

30:41this up. Debo Samuel, but you trade for

30:45AJ Brown. Well, Debo gets relegated to

30:47the bench. Like Jonathan Taylor plus

30:48Debo Samuel for AJ Brown and Omar

30:50Hampton might sound like the Jonathan

30:53Taylor side is a clear winner. We'll

30:54see. But sounds like it in some ways.

30:56Also, this is why you need to have an IR

30:58spot because a lot of times I'll throw

31:00someone on my IR right after the draft

31:01or just to utilize it, has an extra

31:03roster spot. AJ Brown like is the kind

31:06of player that's meant for IR. He you

31:07can sit him there. Hold on if you need

31:09to.

31:09>> And then so just to play into that,

31:12Deshawn Stribbling an example of a guy

31:13you could cut loose. You don't have He's

31:15not going to be out. We mentioned that,

31:16but probably closer to 10 weeks now. So

31:18not a guy you keep stashed. You don't

31:20have to worry about that one anymore.

31:21>> All right, let's take another question

31:22here from chat. This next one comes from

31:25>> [clears throat]

31:26>> Salam wants to know, should I start

31:27Jared Goff tonight? I have Joe Burrow.

31:30>> Independent of what happens with Joe

31:31Burrow? And again, all signs continue to

31:33point towards him playing on Sunday.

31:35Independent of that, I have Jared Goff

31:37ranked higher than Joe Burrow.

31:38>> Y agreed. I'm with you on that. All

31:40right. Next one comes from Mana wants to

31:42know, we think Golden or Wadd as the

31:45wide receiver to this week. Matthew

31:47Golden saw 12 targets. A lot of it in

31:48garbage time.

31:49>> Yeah.

31:50>> But still a healthy target share, guys.

31:52>> Like the talent I saw on display there.

31:53I like Jaylen Wadd. bottle for sure.

31:55>> Yeah, not there yet on gold.

31:56>> By the way, I um I saw I believe I saw

31:59um one of our question askers from

32:01yesterday and I think I screwed it up.

32:03Uh realtor and I think it's Andrich.

32:07>> Like the name is Andrich and I thought

32:08you know it was realtor and Rick.

32:10>> Maybe it is.

32:11>> I think it's Andrich. So Andrich, if

32:13you're out there watching right now, I

32:14just wanted to say shout out to you.

32:16Thanks for your loyalty for checking out

32:17sleep last night. He realized in the

32:19middle of the night he's like, "Oh,

32:20here's the deal." And let me just

32:23>> I care about you. I care about the

32:24people. I care about the chat. I care

32:26about our community. Of course, Mike

32:28cares about projections. So, you decide

32:30what's more valuable in your life.

32:31>> He's gonna be like, "But I care about

32:32you."

32:32>> The person is gonna be like, "No, it is

32:34Andre. I'm a realer and I'm married to

32:36someone named Rick."

32:37>> Realer and Rick. And that's what it was.

32:39>> So, you you spent all that time for

32:41nothing.

32:41>> Nope.

32:42>> Mike wants to move on. Field wants to do

32:43one more question. And because Field's a

32:44man of the people, we're going to do one

32:46more question.

32:47Super Yonyi wants to know, would you

32:49start Tedo McMillan, Devonte Adams, or

32:53Debo Samuel?

32:55>> I like Debo after what I saw last week,

32:57but

32:58>> yeah,

32:58>> not going there.

32:59>> I have it ranked as they're listed on

33:01the screen. T McMillan, Dvonte Adams,

33:02and then Dbo.

33:03>> Me, too.

33:03>> I have I have Adams one spot ahead of

33:05McMillan. It's a close call. I think uh

33:08playing the Giants versus going into

33:10Atlanta for Carolina, I think they come

33:11back to earth based on Bryce Young's

33:13track record. I'm leaning Yeah, I'm

33:15leaning Adams, but close call. You got

33:17silver foxes though, so that's that

33:18checks out.

33:19>> Have you guys seen how long until we

33:22start to have the Jaylen Coker versus T

33:24McMillan conversation?

33:25>> Uh, starting to bubble

33:27>> after this week.

33:28>> Really?

33:28>> I think so.

33:28>> I I think Yeah. Well, let's see how the

33:30usage looks this week. I think then it

33:32become because this is going back to

33:33last year. Last two weeks of last

33:34season, Cooker was over 16 fantasy

33:36points. So,

33:38>> I think McMillan's the better player. I

33:41want to say the better raw talent, but

33:43it doesn't always work that way. I don't

33:44know. But I I still lean McMillan, but

33:46>> we'll start having a conversation.

33:48>> I think it starts to be a conversation

33:49this week.

33:49>> Yeah, it we Koker's just got to keep up

33:51that target.

33:52>> And I think we could have a a Bryce

33:53Young conversation, too, if he plays

33:55well. He's had he's had Atlanta's number

33:57recently, but he also has this history

33:59of having a big game and then just going

34:01way down the We talked about this on the

34:02waiver show on Tuesday. Uh so we'll see.

34:05He has to show it consistently.

34:06>> Guys, let's just talk about test mic one

34:08more time.

34:08>> Yeah, go ahead.

34:09Jaylen Coker from

34:12um West uh West Charleston University

34:16Tech.

34:16>> Okay. So, he started his career there.

34:18>> Oh, okay. Okay.

34:19>> Holy Cross.

34:20>> Holy Cross.

34:21>> But I'm testing you. It's going to be

34:23Massachusetts related tests. I'm not

34:25there yet. I'm still I'm still a rookie

34:27in the Massachusetts area. So,

34:29>> have enough lobster rolls and you won't

34:30be.

34:30>> All right. Let's dive into a little bit

34:32more about this Falcons Panthers games,

34:34my friend. We were already a little bit

34:35in on these Panthers wide receivers.

34:37Here are the lineup locks we have in

34:39this one. Bjan Robinson obviously had

34:41eight catches in week one. Drake London

34:44still a lineup lock even though

34:45emotionally it feels not fun to throw

34:47him out there and Tedoroa McMillan.

34:50Let's ask this question right off the

34:51bat field. If Cooper Rush is the

34:54quarterback,

34:56do I still have to start Drake London?

34:58>> Not totally sold on that myself. I know

35:00Mike might feel differently, but I am

35:01not there yet. I'm going to sort of

35:03process that over the next couple of

35:04days. Yep.

35:05>> I mean, their head coach Kevin Stfansky

35:07wouldn't even rule out

35:08>> Jack Sternad, the fourth string QB

35:11sounds like probably no Michael Pennock

35:13Jr. yet this week and Tua sounds

35:15probably not as well.

35:16>> Sternad is Strand.

35:18>> I don't know. I can't read. Um, Strand

35:20Jack.

35:20>> I thought it was Strand, but that's what

35:22I have it as.

35:22>> Strand.

35:23>> There is a Stern. There's like a

35:24linebacker Sternad.

35:25>> Justin Sternod from the Denver Broncos.

35:28There's also Sternad. I actually don't

35:30know on Justin.

35:32>> Got him.

35:32>> Oh, got him.

35:33>> Got him. Got him.

35:35>> One one on the board.

35:36>> One career. Random name on there.

35:38>> On the board.

35:39>> Thank you. [laughter]

35:41>> All right. Um

35:41>> Oh, you Well executed.

35:43>> Do you guys want the good news or the

35:44bad news on the Falcons offense from

35:47week one with Cooper Rush?

35:48>> Give me the bad news first.

35:50>> Let's start there.

35:51>> The Falcons

35:54did not settle for a field goal or a

35:56turnover or a turnover on downs on any

36:00of their trips to the red zone last

36:01week.

36:01>> That sounds like a good news. That's the

36:03good news.

36:04>> Oh, okay.

36:04>> Oh, so you just ignored us and

36:06>> Oh, yes. I did the good news.

36:08>> That's the good news. [laughter]

36:10>> What? Where was the bad part?

36:13>> All right. Here's the bad news.

36:15[laughter]

36:15>> Gats lit us.

36:16>> The Falcons also didn't reach the red

36:18zone last week.

36:19>> Oh, okay.

36:21>> They were the only team in the NFL

36:23there. So, there's us.

36:24>> The NFL I did.

36:26>> Remember back in the day the 20 yard

36:27line at different stadiums used to be

36:29like highlighted. They would do like a

36:31double thick line. They would dress it

36:33up a little bit. That seems to have gone

36:34by the wayside. But it used to be very

36:36obvious where the red zone was.

36:38>> Yep.

36:38>> The Falcons ignored it. They never got

36:40there. The Falcons did not read the

36:41freaking red zone last year, last week

36:44against the Steelers. The only offense

36:46they had was Bejon Robinson being

36:47Superman.

36:48>> He did run through the red zone.

36:50>> Yes, that was Yes, that was the only

36:51time. All right. So, that's how bad the

36:53offense as a whole was.

36:54>> Yeah.

36:55>> This is amazing, though. Last week, 31

36:58teams had their wide receivers and tight

37:01ends combine for at least 10 receptions,

37:04which is not that significant of a way

37:06of a number to reach.

37:07>> It seems like there's one team not on

37:08that list.

37:09>> There would be one team

37:10>> 32 teams minus 30. That's leaves

37:12>> 10 plus receptions for the wide

37:14receivers and tight ends. The Falcons,

37:17every single wide receiver and tight end

37:19in week one combined for four catches.

37:22That's disg.

37:29[clears throat]

37:30We've been dunking on the Browns offense

37:31all week. Have you seen how pathetic

37:33that offense was?

37:34>> They got to 10. The Falcons couldn't

37:36even get to five.

37:37>> That's brutal.

37:38>> This offense was completely

37:39non-functional in week one. And I know

37:42the Steelers are a pretty good defense.

37:43And they're they're a better defense

37:44than Carolina this upcoming weekend. And

37:46I know the Panthers just said 59 hung on

37:49them, but this offense is nonfunctioning

37:52right now given the quarterback state.

37:54So, I've got real concerns.

37:55>> We start Jack Strand. Give us some hope.

37:58I at least want to see him. I mean, he

37:59had a good uh good preseason. Like, put

38:01him out there.

38:01>> Oh, sure. Yes. Great.

38:03>> My point is is that

38:04>> we want Jack Strand.

38:06>> We want That's right. So, I want Jack

38:07Strand, too. I don't know. Whatever. I

38:09want Tua.

38:10>> I mean, I Yeah, perfect.

38:12>> What I really want is Michael Pennix

38:13Jr., But he's not healthy, so I want I

38:15need it. I need it now, though. But

38:17guys, like

38:18>> it it hurt me to have to watch this

38:20offense. So, I don't know. I I

38:22>> Can I tell you a situation I'm in,

38:24>> please? Yes, I need it.

38:25>> I've got Drake London in a couple of

38:26leagues.

38:27>> Dynasty League included.

38:28>> Dynasty League included. Yeah.

38:29>> And at least this week, I'm going to

38:31trust it one more time. Drake London is

38:33too talented. I think they've got I have

38:35to give him an opportunity to write the

38:36ship. I can't like bail after the first

38:38bad week.

38:40>> So, I'm going to buy in lowering my

38:42expectations. I don't know what that

38:43means. There's no actionable to that,

38:45but it's just like I'm not expecting

38:46Drake London to be what I drafted him to

38:48be, but I'm not going to not to bench

38:51him yet. After this game,

38:53>> if we don't have a quarterback change,

38:56then we're just going to have to have a

38:57bigger conversation.

38:58>> Yeah, he's one of those guys where after

39:00there's a short list of guys like this

39:01where if they have a game where they

39:02only have like two or three targets or a

39:04complete disaster there and you know

39:06during the week they're like, "Okay, we

39:07have to fix that." Those guys generally

39:09come back the next week and just are

39:10peppered early on with targets. Yeah, I

39:12would. That would be my expectation.

39:14>> Nervous.

39:14>> So nervous. Doesn't feel good about it.

39:16Like I

39:17>> I had a thought on Dynasty and Drake

39:18London. We can bring it take in a

39:20minute. I think we have something before

39:21we chat on Jack

39:22>> chat. Let's bring it up.

39:23>> It's Strand. My bad.

39:24>> Oh, but as a Falcons fan, if it's Rush,

39:26I don't blame you. I'll sit in London or

39:27any Falcon not named Bjan. Rush's

39:29performance has to be the worst QB

39:30performance in recent history.

39:32>> From C Santiago 7 two for his QBR,

39:36>> guys. It was awful. At least he saved

39:37Bjan though. We'll give him that. We'll

39:39give him one.

39:39>> He didn't save Bjon. Don't you dare say

39:41that. Bjan saved Bjan.

39:42>> He has to throw it to him. He has to

39:44throw.

39:44>> Bull crap. He threw the ball like four

39:46feet and Bejan took it yard. Robinson

39:48did it all, but at least he got it in

39:49his hands. So, you know, we complain

39:51about that sometimes where the guy, you

39:53know, you're you're not getting these

39:54these fantasy relevant guys the ball at

39:56all. And that's a problem. We're like,

39:58come on, just get it in their hands.

39:59>> He didn't do it for Pitts or London, but

40:01at least at least Robinson. If it wasn't

40:04for Scott Mitchell, Barry Sanders

40:05probably wouldn't be a good running

40:07[laughter] back. You know what I mean,

40:08guys?

40:08>> Probably not. Who are you taking in this

40:10one? Panthers or Falcons?

40:11>> I'm taking the Panthers in this one.

40:12>> Yeah, me too.

40:13>> Uh, I am taking the Panthers. Yes.

40:15>> You know, it dawned on me from uh I

40:16think we everybody across the board took

40:18the Panthers in this one.

40:19>> Producers as well, I believe you are

40:21correct.

40:22>> Yeah, sure did. Unless I'm Yeah, there

40:23we go. Um, remember Drake London? You're

40:25on your dynasty team. You won the league

40:27this past year.

40:28>> I did.

40:28>> Two years ago in the semifinals, you

40:31were playing, I think, Matthew. Yes,

40:33>> Barry. And he had Jared Goff and Aman

40:35Ra. That was like the last game that

40:37either one of you had any players. It

40:39was it was a 425 game and you were up I

40:42don't know some ridiculous amount of

40:44points going into that game and then he

40:47came back and got you.

40:48>> Do you know what game that was?

40:49>> The Lions Billions.

40:51>> We're talking the 484. That's I was

40:52thinking about it.

40:53>> I lost two matchups because of that

40:54game. Yeah, there was another where I

40:56had also went up against our buddy Kurt

40:57in the Michigan men. Not in the Michigan

40:59men league but our buddy flashbacks

41:00tonight.

41:01>> I I have so much scar tissue from that

41:03game. We could have faced each other in

41:04the finals.

41:05>> Yeah. that I wish that we had field.

41:06Trust me.

41:07>> Honestly though, you kind of don't

41:08because my team in the finals I had

41:09>> you smashed.

41:10>> It was like it was if you guys may

41:12recall this, but the um the Ravens

41:14played the Texans on Christmas Day two

41:17Christmases ago.

41:18>> Okay. Yeah.

41:18>> And I have Lamar and Dererick Henry.

41:20>> I I'll never forget I was sitting there

41:22watching with my father-in-law and he

41:24was like, "Why is this guy jumping like

41:26an absolute maniac every play?" I'm

41:28like, "Because did you see Derrick Henry

41:29go off for like 120 yards and a

41:31touchdown in the first half?" So, um

41:33that was a good week for the team. Yeah.

41:35Anyways,

41:36>> we get a good week from the Jets and

41:37Packers here. Mike, why don't you and I

41:39talk about that one?

41:40>> Be interesting. The Jets actually

41:41weren't too bad in week one. Lineup

41:43blocks for this one. The two guys that

41:45we would expect, Brace Hall, and Garrett

41:48Wilson for the Packers.

41:49>> I see Christian Watson, Tucker Craft. I

41:52don't see any running backs on there,

41:54Michael.

41:54>> No running backs. Uh, by the way, the

41:56Jets bar is just like they weren't that

41:57bad. Like that's like a bar for the Jets

41:59now. It's like, yeah, that's true.

42:01>> Honestly,

42:02>> no, that's big progress for them

42:03usually. like they were atrocious

42:04against if Gino Smith can make those two

42:07guys fantasy relevant for the entire

42:08season. That's the that's the best thing

42:10that we could hope for.

42:10>> That's kind of my point. Just get the

42:12ball to those guys and we're happy and

42:13at some point Kenyon City we'll give

42:15them

42:15>> I just said that Andre London we're not

42:16going to bail after one week. What about

42:18the Packers running backs? Are we

42:20allowed to bail after one week on Mar

42:22for now? Um the distribution was not uh

42:24in Marshon Lloyd's favor and we needed

42:26it to be in his favor to trust him as an

42:28RB2. I think he's still in the flex

42:30conversation in this matchup, but look,

42:32he was out snapped 37 to 30. He did have

42:35an edge of 13 to7 in carries, which was

42:37good. Um, but the routes were uh the

42:40passing down work leaned toward Chris

42:42Brooks. I actually looked at

42:43specifically when they called pass.

42:45>> Uh Chris Brooks was on the field for 30

42:47of those plays to 16 for Marshon Lloyd.

42:50Basically doubled him up. That is not

42:52great. Um, also Marshon Lloyd didn't

42:56like whereas Bashon like played well and

42:58you're like, okay, maybe he earned more.

43:00Same thing with like Jakori Krosky

43:01Meritt.

43:02>> Marshon Lloyd did not in this one. I

43:03know it was a really tough match up, but

43:0513 carries for 37 yards, that's 2.8

43:07yards per carry. Chris Brooks went seven

43:09for 29. That's over four yards per

43:11carry. So, that was even a little

43:12better. I know the scenarios are a

43:14little bit different. You know, guys in

43:15the box, whatever it might be, but uh

43:17Lloyd did not earn a larger share of the

43:19pie in that game. And the Jets were good

43:21against the opposing running backs last

43:23week. So, uh, I'm avoiding this one if I

43:25can.

43:25>> Me, too. I'm just looking at the pass

43:27catchers. I would be starting Christian

43:28Watson if I have him. I would be

43:30starting Tucker Craft if I had him.

43:31>> And you could start Golden as a flex.

43:33He's not there yet where he's a lineup

43:35lock, but he's in at least now in the

43:36>> field and I both have him at wide

43:37receiver 34. So, in a 12 team league, he

43:40would fall in that flex radar based on

43:41what he did. Again, we don't think that

43:4212 targets is going to happen again

43:44because so much of it was in garbage

43:45time. But, it was nice seeing him at

43:47least be utilized. Yeah, we were talking

43:48uh we were in like a group text talking

43:50about how Watson was doing everything

43:52and and Golden nothing in the first half

43:54and then it kind of flipped in the

43:55second half and Golden just went off.

43:57But again, they were

43:58>> they had fallen behind when that really

43:59started. Yeah. You know, and and he kind

44:01of soaked up a ton of volume. So, we're

44:02not we're not lineup lock territory yet.

44:05But good start.

44:05>> That's really it here. Not not all to

44:07talk about this game. You're taking the

44:09Packers or the Jets.

44:11>> Tougher than I thought it was going to

44:12be to pick this game coming into week

44:14two, but I'm taking the Packers.

44:15>> Wow. Packers at home here, right? All of

44:17us except for the producers who take the

44:19Jets which is a little bit of an issue

44:20is in New York but in New York. I think

44:22that's Yeah.

44:23>> Um our buddy Quinton Thorne who uh helps

44:25us out with a bunch of stuff here. He is

44:26a big Packers fan. Surprised the

44:28producers did not go with Oh, but the

44:30other producer Zach is a Jets fan. I

44:32understand why we picked the Jets

44:33>> side up in room. I get it.

44:36>> All right, let's talk Raiders and

44:37Chargers field.

44:39>> I mentioned this a little bit yesterday

44:41and we'll dive in a little bit more, but

44:43lineup locks on this one. Ashton Genty,

44:46Brock Bowers if he plays. Still waiting

44:48to get a little bit more information.

44:50Yep. We'll uh continue to monitor that.

44:52Obviously, check out Fantasy Focus

44:53Countdown Sunday morning 10 a.m. Eastern

44:55time on ESPN 2. We will give you all the

44:57latest when inactives come out.

44:59>> For the Chargers, we got Lad McConi and

45:01Omari and Hampton

45:03>> Field. This is the matchup. We need the

45:04Chargers to get on track, be the Mike

45:06McDaniel offense that we thought we were

45:08going to see last week. How do you feel

45:10about starting Chargers this week in

45:12fantasy?

45:12>> Well, a lot less excited than I did last

45:14week. I'll tell you that much. Uh but

45:15Vlad Makoni, who we'll see whether he

45:16plays, doesn't sound like there's a ton

45:18of optimism at the moment.

45:19>> Big chest injury.

45:20>> If he's ribs, I think is what they're

45:22calling it. Yes. If he is out, it's not

45:24like there's a Chargers wide receiver

45:25that I say, okay, lad out. You're

45:28starting him. Probably Quinton Johnson

45:30will be my highest ranked, but

45:32>> um the Chargers converted on third down

45:34twice last week.

45:35>> On the plus side, the Browns didn't do

45:37that, so they beat the Browns. Um, part

45:40of the issue though is they just have

45:42didn't have have the ball at all in this

45:44game last week. Uh, they had 22 minutes

45:46and 29 seconds of time of possession in

45:48week one. Only the Titans had more. So,

45:51I I'm not going to excuse this week one

45:53performance. It was awful. It was

45:55pathetic. It was embarrassing. I felt a

45:58sense of of guilt watching them because

46:00I was so optimistic about this offense.

46:03Mike McDaniel with much lesser personnel

46:05has made much more out of his offenses.

46:07That was totally not the case in week

46:10one. Um,

46:12>> this is it. We we talked about this on

46:14yesterday's show. Like you do it this

46:16week and you build some confidence and

46:18you prove that some of that hype, if not

46:20all that hype was deserved or we are

46:23pulling the plug on our Chargers

46:25optimism almost right away. And by the

46:26way, this goes to everybody. Like no one

46:29was good. It's not like like you know

46:32and you're a Marin Hampton guy. You'll

46:34probably be feeling comparably

46:35disappointed if he once again sort of

46:37has a third game.

46:38>> You know what it'll make me feel like?

46:39It'll make me feel like how Chase Brown

46:41started last season.

46:43>> Yeah. Although the schedule is just

46:44going to get brutal for the Chargers.

46:46>> But I had high expectations and it took

46:48Chase Brown a long time. That's the

46:49thing and I agree with you. Yesterday we

46:51talked about this like this is a game he

46:52has to get it going. The next one

46:54traveling across the country at Buffalo.

46:56Okay, Buffalo's not the defense it used

46:58to be. So you maybe have another game

47:00after this and then the schedule just

47:01gets brutal. So you need to build that

47:03confidence now.

47:04>> Yeah, he is going to have to run the

47:05ball well too cuz I mean Katon Mitchell

47:07ran more routes in this game. It was 10

47:09to seven. Neither one of them was

47:10targeted. Neither one.

47:11>> I don't even want you guys to say his

47:12name. It should be a should be just

47:15going to be it's going to be Derk Henry

47:17though and like it's all based on carry

47:19volume and he's only going to get a

47:20couple targets. That's a problem. Like

47:22he he's really going to have to run the

47:23ball well. This is a good opportunity at

47:25home against a Raiders team they should

47:27be better than. But again, we thought

47:28that last week against Arizona and they

47:30did they were disappointed. So, I'm with

47:32you. Huge game for our long-term

47:34expectations for the Chargers.

47:36>> Let's say the Brock Bowers doesn't go in

47:37this one. Michael Mayer slotting in as a

47:38low-end tight end one like he did in

47:40week one.

47:40>> It was fine last week.

47:41>> Similar expectations.

47:42>> I mean, startable. Yes. I mean, how many

47:44options were there last week that it

47:45proved to be startable?

47:46>> By the way, I said the other day I said

47:48Bryce Young was fine in week one and I'm

47:50getting hammered on social from Panthers

47:52fans because he played well.

47:54>> I said fine in week one from a fantasy

47:56perspective. I was talking about his

47:58point total of 19. I was not talking

47:59about his film watching. He had he

48:01averaged 17 points a game last year. He

48:03had 19 in this game. That was the point.

48:04He was fine. He wasn't like a

48:06spectacular fantasy quarterback. That's

48:07what I meant. Yes, Bryce Young was

48:09awesome in week one. We'll see if he can

48:10do it. Again, he's has a history of not

48:12doing it in backto-back games.

48:14>> Can our production team clip that and

48:16then doctor it and it says Bryce Young.

48:18>> You don't need to doctor it. People hear

48:19what they want to hear. They've already

48:21decided in week one

48:25in week one.

48:25>> Same thing with Mayor. I'm not saying he

48:26played poorly. He's a very good tight

48:28end. Could be a tight end one for a lot

48:29of teams. Fantasy output was fine. It

48:31was fine. It was like nine points. It

48:32was

48:33>> uh who you taking in this one? Raiders

48:34or Chargers?

48:35>> Chargers get it done. Chargers for me as

48:37well.

48:37>> I'm buying into Chargers one more week

48:39before I start to fully hit the panic

48:40button.

48:41>> All right. Eagles and Titans. Hey, I

48:44know the Eagles. Are you okay? The

48:47lineup blocks tells me everything I need

48:49to know. We got Saquon Barkley, Jaylen

48:50Herz, Dvont Smith. The Titans seem to be

48:52the other team outside of the Browns

48:54right now with the quarterback

48:55situation, but that one has like a a

48:57limited time.

48:58That's fair.

48:59>> It's got to change.

49:00>> I can't imagine starting any Titans

49:02right now with confidence.

49:03>> When's Cam board panic time?

49:05>> Um,

49:06I mean, you got the guys around you now.

49:08Tate Wandelle, Ridley, your three. You

49:10got Gunnar Helm who did a lot of damage

49:12last year. You have Tony Pard in the

49:13back. I mean,

49:14>> you got to get it going.

49:16>> 100%.

49:16>> Got to figure it out. I mean, if if he

49:18has the guys around him to be at least

49:20average,

49:20>> it won't be easy this week. I'll tell

49:22you that much.

49:22>> Yeah. Eagles defense isn't a great at

49:24least at home to get it going a little

49:25bit, but yeah, they got to get going

49:27because we can't.

49:28>> Speaking of quarterbacks just getting

49:29the ball in the hands of skill guys, get

49:31the ball to these guys. They can make

49:32plays.

49:32>> So, let's talk about the Eagles

49:33receivers before I dive into something

49:35that I think is I don't know. It's it's

49:36it's a name that has meant so much to us

49:38in fantasy football that I want to give

49:40it some good thought. You go for the

49:42wide receivers.

49:42>> Yeah, wide receivers. Uh yeah, kind of

49:44an underwhelming week one. Eight

49:45catches, 121 yards, and a touchdown

49:47combined. And a lot of that was one play

49:49to Dante and Wix. Keep in mind this was

49:51a really good game script for the

49:52Eagles. They led for most of this game.

49:54Herz only attempted 25 passes and also

49:56Dallas got sold two touchdowns. So

49:58that's why there wasn't much impact from

50:00them. We're staying the course on

50:02Devonte Smith. He was on the field for

50:0420. He ran around on 25 of their 28 uh

50:06pass plays in the game. Dontavian Wix

50:08was second with 24. Ma Lemon at 23. So

50:11my perception of this unit is basically

50:15the same as in the offseason. So that's

50:16pretty much the end of the analysis is

50:18just like it's what we thought it was

50:19going to be. Damonte Smith is still a

50:21lineup block. He's the one. Wix and

50:22Lemon I think are just going to steal

50:24too much from each other. There's just

50:25not going to be enough consistent

50:26volume. I can't trust either guy in my

50:28lineup right now.

50:29>> I'm not a part of this conversation

50:30because you're going to but

50:31>> you're allowed to speak to it.

50:33>> I appreciate that. Allow it. I'm going

50:34to ask a dummy question. When you say a

50:36player was out there for 25 of the and

50:39ran a route on 25 of the 28 pass plays,

50:41that means that three of the passing

50:42plays he was just a blocker or he was on

50:45the field. Yes,

50:46>> for a wide receiver, it usually means

50:48they're on the sideline, but some guys

50:50will block. You know, play block cuz he

50:52could block.

50:53>> Okay. So, he took a breather for three

50:54playas, which that's I mean, if you're

50:5625 of 28, I mean, that's around 90%. I

50:58mean, that's a great uh great hit rate.

51:00>> I appreciate I just wanted the context.

51:01I appreciate it. Go ahead.

51:04>> When do we start talking about Saquon

51:06Barkley?

51:08>> In which way?

51:09>> Maybe like

51:12is degraduating a term? I I know what

51:14you mean when you say it.

51:15>> Moving down.

51:16>> Yeah.

51:17>> Are the days of Saquon Barkley being an

51:19offthecharts fantasy back behind us is

51:21my

51:21>> I think so. Okay.

51:22>> I think so, but I think we felt that way

51:24in draft season, right?

51:25>> Well, I don't know. Exactly. Draft. I I

51:27just feel like he was clustered with a

51:28bunch of guys. I wasn't here with you

51:30guys know my Derrick Henry optimism, but

51:32it was like he was being drafted right

51:34around Marian Hampton and Jeremiah Love

51:36and Ashton Genty. All guys where it's

51:38like they can make the big leap and be a

51:40top five running back, right?

51:41>> Yeah. Here's why I'm concerned about

51:43Suan is a couple of years ago,

51:45obviously, he was off the charts

51:46amazing. He had over 2,000 rushing

51:48yards. He was perhaps a fantasy top five

51:51MVP. The guy was amazing, right? Every

51:54single week, he had five games with 30

51:55plus fantasy points. I remember just a

51:57couple weeks ago being like, we haven't

51:58talked a lot about Saquon Barkley. Maybe

52:00we should a little bit more. Part of the

52:02reality two years ago that hasn't

52:04changed is that Saquon Barkley did not

52:05catch a ton of passes and didn't matter

52:07because he was running so dang

52:08efficiently. Eagles offensive line was

52:10so darn good. The scheme was so perfect.

52:12They win the Super Bowl that year. All

52:14those things go right. Mike, you're an

52:16Eagles fan. Are you as optimistic about

52:18the offensive line right now?

52:19>> No, not with Landon Dickerson. Her it's

52:22getting a little older. I still think

52:23it's a very good offensive line when

52:24healthy, but yeah, they've been a little

52:25beat up.

52:26>> There was a time where it felt like two

52:28years ago they were in a tier basically

52:30by themselves as an offensive line.

52:31>> Definitely.

52:32>> I don't they're maybe a top five rate

52:35offensive line. I'm not Mike Goldic Jr.

52:37I'm not going to sit here and try to

52:38rank all 32, but I don't think they are

52:40viewed anymore as so much better than

52:42everybody else that you could put me

52:43behind them and you could get a bunch of

52:45yards. Saquon is obviously an elite

52:47>> uh elite talent. So, it's the offensive

52:50line is not nearly as good.

52:52>> Saquon Barkley's rushing efficiency as a

52:54result goes down over his past six

52:57regular season games. I didn't even look

52:58at the playoff games. Saquon Barkley has

53:02a total of 11 targets

53:04>> and three catches.

53:05>> Wow. for 11 receiving yards. This is,

53:08you know, onethird of a 17game pace. But

53:11just for some context, that would be a

53:14full season pace of nine catches for 31

53:17yards for Saquon Barkley if it keeps up.

53:19It's going to be better than that. It's

53:20going to be better than nine catches for

53:2231 yards. But

53:23>> he has basically been rid of his

53:25receiving duties, which is not like he

53:27was catching a 100 passes two years ago,

53:30but he was running so darn effectively

53:31and scoring so many touchdowns that

53:33didn't matter. this Eagles offense is

53:35not as as good as it was two years ago.

53:37He's still not catching passes that I

53:39don't know. I'm I'm I'm worried that

53:40Saquon, I don't know, in a month. Are we

53:43talking about him as like RB 17 as

53:45opposed to RB? Like he he might have

53:46been RB7 in our week one ranks.

53:48>> I am both worried because I agree with

53:50all of the things that you're saying

53:51field and try to figure out how to

53:53counterbalance that with what I feel

53:55like Mike is potentially also going to

53:56say, which is they have such a great

53:58schedule at least to start the year.

54:00>> Yes, this will help this weekend. The

54:01Tit if it doesn't happen against the

54:03Titans. Don't you get worried?

54:04>> Yes, definitely. If it doesn't happen

54:05against the Titans,

54:06>> I will say this was a low volume game

54:08for them in some ways. The He did have

54:1080 yards, so it's not I mean, again,

54:12not, you know, he didn't have a Derrick

54:13Henry game or anything like that, but he

54:14did have 80 yards. And he was also on

54:16the field for 22 of their 33 called

54:19passes. It was eight for Will Shipley,

54:21uh, three for Tank Bigby. So, that's

54:23still a pretty good number. At least he

54:24was out in the field, so perhaps that'll

54:26lead to more targets. But, I hear you.

54:28He's going to have to to to make up

54:29ground to become a top five, top seven

54:32running back. he's going to have to run

54:33at a high level. And you're right, I

54:35don't know if he gets that level

54:36anymore. And that was my thought in the

54:37offseason was I think he's now down a

54:39tier or two. Like he's still going to

54:41hang in the running back one

54:42conversation. There's so much volume.

54:43There's talent there. The O line's still

54:45pretty good. The offense will be fine.

54:46But I don't know if he gets to that

54:47level. I don't think he's going to be in

54:48the conversation with Robinson, Gibbs,

54:51CMC, guys like that. I I think those

54:53days are behind him.

54:53>> So the first like few weeks of the

54:54season for fantasy in my mind are not

54:56just talking about the guys that kind of

54:58come out of nowhere and have huge games.

54:59Isaiah likely goes off and is he a tight

55:01end one? But I think it's also looking

55:03at the big names that we talked about

55:05coming into the season and deciding like

55:06if things don't go as expected, can

55:09things turn quickly, Jamar Chase, right?

55:11We expect that to turn in a major way or

55:13is this going to be like where things

55:14are heading going forward? And like is a

55:17Saquon Barkley or Dvonte Adams usually

55:20older players? Are they more vulnerable

55:22to the potential slide? So I've got

55:23Saquon ranked easily easily inside my

55:26top 20. I'm starting in every league

55:28that I have. I'm not I'm not suggesting

55:30otherwise. I'm just flagging it.

55:32>> Yeah.

55:32>> I need the turnaround in a hurry or else

55:34the conversations become a whole lot

55:35more serious.

55:36>> I'm with you.

55:36>> Yeah. It's different. Like I think it's

55:38what we talked about before with like

55:40Jonathan Taylor like being at that

55:41level. That's not Saquon Barkley's level

55:43now. Like when you're evaluating trades,

55:45you know, we're not putting him in that

55:46category anymore. So I would agree with

55:48that.

55:48>> Field and I are taking the Eagles. Mike,

55:50you and the producers on the Titans,

55:52which was a surprising pick here. No, no

55:54one's no one's foolish. You know that.

55:57But that arrogance though, that's an

55:59upset special here, isn't it? Isn't it?

56:01Oh, man.

56:02>> This is one of our producers, Dave, is a

56:03huge Titans fan. So, you guys got to

56:04have a little wager.

56:05>> This is the perfect week for Mike to be

56:07like, "So, when's Cam Ward going to put

56:08it together?" Huh? When's Cam Ward

56:10finally going to get good at football?

56:11Oh, this week against my Eagles, huh?

56:13>> Yeah, they would. That's

56:14>> how it tends to go.

56:15>> Let's talk about the Raheem Sanders

56:17Monopoly Fund, my friends.

56:19>> We crushed it last week for one.

56:20>> We You crushed it. Uh oh, it's we're

56:23team Brier team.

56:25>> Let's be clear. If I get it right, I

56:26will not be giving you guys credit.

56:27[laughter] All right, that's

56:28>> Thank you for giving me credit, but I

56:29will not still being humble after going

56:31over last year. So,

56:32>> that's right. [laughter] I respect it. I

56:33I need to earn a little bit more. Uh

56:35grabbing Cole Kat, I got lucky. We

56:37scored 59 points. Honestly, your pick of

56:39of Khalif Raymond.

56:40>> Yeah.

56:41>> Was also

56:43object Objectively speaking, that was

56:44probably the best. This is a game, by

56:46the way, the Cole KT touchdown was like

56:48a

56:49>> How many times could Caleb have made

56:50that throw? He tried that 100 times. How

56:52many times does he hit that

56:53>> Caleb with that arm talent? May maybe

56:55maybe.

56:55>> I mean, it's incredible, but I mean, it

56:57could not have been better. I mean, it

56:58was a 100% accuracy right into his

57:01hands. If it was off a little bit and

57:03maybe doesn't happen, I mean, perfect

57:04play.

57:05>> All right, we're going to start this

57:06week. I'm going to go with Diami Brown

57:10rostered guys

57:12>> taking on the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys

57:14just got embarrassed to be honest,

57:16>> by the Giants. I expect the Dallas

57:18Cowboys to find that offense that they

57:19didn't have in week one. When that

57:21happens, there's going to just have to

57:22be a lot of throwing in this game. I

57:23don't think it's going to be the running

57:24back. So, I'm just taking a shot at an

57:26offense I think is just going to have to

57:27throw the ball a lot.

57:28>> Yeah. And he ran clearly as the number

57:30three wide receiver last week ahead of

57:32Antonio Williams. My only concern with

57:33Brown would be uh does Williams take

57:36that job after impressing? If they watch

57:38the tape and say, "Hey, this guy's good.

57:39He flips." And you know, they flip

57:41roles. But again, we're talking about

57:42under 1% guys. So,

57:44>> under 5%.

57:45>> I get it. I thought about him, too. We

57:46cut it in half because last week we're

57:481% because we hit. Now we have to pick

57:50guys underg. So I got lucky with mine

57:52because mine was

57:53>> Oh wow. Thank you. I forgot we did that.

57:55>> But a reminder that like every time

57:58we're making the case for somebody in

57:59the Raheem Sanders fund,

58:01>> the case against is about a hundred

58:02times stronger.

58:03>> So much stronger. I just wanted to make

58:04a point about Antonio Williams there. So

58:06I was just sliding that in there.

58:08>> I came so close to

58:10>> and I still think it's a really good

58:11pick.

58:12>> Raheem Sanders this week.

58:13>> I thought about it, too. as Raheem

58:15Sanders probably going to be the Browns

58:16RB2 with Dylan Samson banged up. He's

58:18going to miss some time. Uh but my pick

58:21surprisingly had six targets in week

58:22one. Maybe some post hype production for

58:26Roman Wilson. Third round pick a couple

58:27years ago out of Michigan for the

58:29Pittsburgh Steelers. There was some talk

58:31about him during the preseason, him and

58:32Aaron Rogers seemingly having a

58:34connection

58:34>> enough that he got six targets in week

58:36one. They play the Patriots. Uh I I

58:39mentioned the weather could be gnarly

58:41earlier, but we'll monitor that. But I'm

58:43going Roman Wilson. 2% rostered.

58:45>> Like it.

58:45>> I like it. Although I don't want it to

58:47work out because we need Metaf. We need

58:49our guy Michael.

58:51>> We talked about McLaren. We need Stefon

58:54Digs, too. So,

58:54>> I know. I hear you. All right. Uh but we

58:56don't what we don't really need is a lot

58:58of the uh Patriots wide receivers

59:00because we're not going to start them.

59:01So, mine's fine here. I'm going to go

59:02with Kyle Williams. All right. I want

59:04this one to happen. Uh I you know, we

59:06talked about the Patriots game earlier.

59:08This guy is fourth in line at receiver.

59:09I I looked at the usage after the injury

59:12as well. I was hoping to see more Kyle

59:14Williams because he looked pretty good

59:15last year in spots. Uh it didn't happen.

59:17It was a little more. He got a few more

59:19routes, but I would have liked to see

59:20more. Only 11 snaps, seven routes last

59:22week, but he's going to be fourth in

59:23line at receiver and last year he had

59:25three long touchdowns. He hits for the

59:27big play occasionally. Remember this is

59:28a year two receiver. Was a third round

59:30pick last year. Tough match up here

59:31against Pittsburgh, but again only need

59:33one one big play and I think they'll

59:35dial up a play or two for him in this

59:36game. I like it. either of you guys

59:38think about any of the uh Baltimore wide

59:40receivers with the depth issues we're

59:43currently

59:44>> safe hours no practice yesterday and

59:45then Jacobe Lane probably a month. Yeah,

59:48they had Chris Moore ran old friend

59:50Chris Moore I feel like he's had 19 cup

59:52cups of tea in Baltimore. He was very

59:54involved last week. I don't know if

59:55they'll do that again of

59:58so we'll see some talk about Dantes

1:00:00Walker. Guys like that might be involved

1:00:01but

1:00:02>> Oh, I like that one. All right, let's

1:00:03dive into a little bit more of the

1:00:04mailbag here before we get out of here

1:00:06on a Thursday, guys. First question that

1:00:08we have comes from Kenny Templeton. Are

1:00:10you playing KD or are you gonna stick

1:00:11with likely?

1:00:13>> Okay, now be careful. The logo for this

1:00:14player is uh for this person is a 49ers

1:00:17logo.

1:00:18>> I'm stick with Isaiah likely.

1:00:19>> Yeah, me too.

1:00:20>> I think so, too.

1:00:20>> Another weak likely. I I mean

1:00:22>> I think it's totally fine to like you've

1:00:23got this really talented younger player

1:00:25like let's see if George KD

1:00:28>> like I'd like for him to get to I don't

1:00:30know 65% of the snaps before you're

1:00:32calling him an every week starter.

1:00:34>> Yes, I agree. And I like the idea of

1:00:35being able to just keep on following

1:00:37what we saw from week one with likely.

1:00:38All right, just in time. Lawrence or

1:00:39Herbert?

1:00:40>> Justin Herbert.

1:00:41>> Herbert Lawrence has Lawrence

1:00:44stuff.

1:00:44>> Jr. Gamer wants to know in my knockout

1:00:46league, who's a better flex option, Kayn

1:00:48Black or Tyler Algier?

1:00:50>> I'm going Kayn Black. Tyler Ojier and

1:00:52the Seahawks uh

1:00:53>> Seahawks. Kaylin Black against Miami.

1:00:55>> You might have a busy second half.

1:00:56>> I agree with Field on that one. Yep.

1:00:58>> All right. Next one we have, this is

1:00:59another one. Destroy uh Detroit Nation

1:01:02wants to know BB Baker or Patrick

1:01:04Mahomes.

1:01:04>> We got Patty Mahomes right Baker

1:01:06Mayfield.

1:01:06>> I'm going Mahomes. I like what I saw

1:01:08last week.

1:01:08>> I do too, but also I want to say that

1:01:09the revenge game for Baker Mayfield

1:01:11coming back. I kind of like that too.

1:01:12Fair.

1:01:13>> All right. Tim wants to know, does Aaron

1:01:15Jones become a lineup lock at RB2 over

1:01:17Warren and Crossra in a fully PPR

1:01:19league? There is uh Jordan Mason

1:01:21>> I like

1:01:21>> going on IR as part of this.

1:01:23>> I did fill in Aaron. I was on the fence

1:01:25and usually I guess if I'm on the fence

1:01:27if a guy's a lineup like he probably

1:01:28shouldn't be but Aaron Jones in my top

1:01:3020 I feel like he is. I feel like you

1:01:32plug him in if you got him.

1:01:33>> Little outside my top I think 24 for me

1:01:35in my week.

1:01:36>> I lean towards 12 team leagues too. So I

1:01:38think he's I I think you'd be hardressed

1:01:40to bench Aaron Jones in this spot.

1:01:42>> If he you if you told me he played 75%

1:01:44of the snaps this week, I would not be

1:01:46surprised. It's going to be like Jerome

1:01:47Ford and DJ Dallas. DJ Dallas, I think

1:01:49it's been five years since he had more

1:01:51than four touches in a game.

1:01:53>> Wow.

1:01:53>> I mean, he'll have some sort of role in

1:01:55passing situations, but what I think

1:01:56they're going to do is probably Aaron

1:01:57Jones more in early downs and then maybe

1:01:59Dallas in passing situations and mix

1:02:01Jerome Ford in. That would be my guess,

1:02:03but we'll see how it plays out. Love

1:02:05that. Also love being able to do the

1:02:07show with you fellas. Thanks for hanging

1:02:09out with me today. Thanks for hanging
