Welcome to Fantasy Focus!

0:00Fantasy. You're in the 06010

0:04focus.

0:06Fantasy.

0:08Fantasy focus.

0:12>> What's up, friends? Welcome into Fantasy

0:14Focus Football alongside Mike Clay and

0:18Field Yates. Sorry about that, Mike. I

0:19just yell. That nice pleasant music

0:21comes on and then you start screaming in

0:23my ear.

0:23>> I know. It's not my fault.

0:25>> You know what it reminds me of?

0:26>> What? As you guys are well aware, I have

0:28three children. My middle child is every

0:31day the tone setter. She wakes up

0:32earliest. Y

0:33>> the problem is my middle is still in a

0:35crib. My oldest is not.

0:38>> So my middle in order to let everybody

0:40know that she's awake has to make some

0:42noise.

0:43>> She has a monitor in her room and I've

0:44told her the monitor is right next to

0:47your bed.

0:47>> Yep.

0:48>> And I have the monitor feed on my phone

0:51right next to my bed.

0:52>> Okay. So all you got to do when you wake

0:54up in the morning is just go, "Daddy,

0:57daddy."

0:58>> She doesn't do that, does she, Phil?

0:59>> Instead, she pretends like no monitors

1:02exist whatsoever. And our bedrooms are

1:04on opposite sides of the house of the

1:06top floor, and she screams at the top of

1:08her lungs, waking up her big sister and

1:11oftentimes her little sister.

1:12>> Gosh. At least that's not till like

1:14probably 8 8:30, right?

1:16>> Yeah. A little. Right. Right. Right.

1:18Yeah. Definitely late in the day.

1:19>> Yeah. Like it's probably 8 or 8:30 in

1:21like the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

1:24Uh but more like, you know, 6 or 6:30 in

1:26the Yates household.

1:27>> Field, do you have an energy bar this

1:28morning?

1:29>> I did.

1:29>> I think you have a little bit right here

1:31on your nose, maybe.

1:32>> Right. Right there. There you go. Got

1:34it.

1:34>> Have makeup done. Thank you.

1:35>> No, that's all right.

1:36>> By my kids as well.

1:37>> Last time that happened, Liz Loza yelled

1:38at me because she was the one that said

1:40something about it. You just love having

1:41your energy bars in the morning. It's

1:42not your fault. I also love I walked

1:44into the makeup room this morning here

1:45at ESPN and the makeup artist who was

1:47helping me out was like,

1:49>> "Did you do your own makeup today?"

1:51>> Yeah.

1:51>> Oh, wow. Because you're

1:53>> That's how pretty he is. Yeah.

1:54>> That's exactly it.

1:55>> She's like, "Cuz there's glitter all

1:56over your face right now."

1:58>> Oh, that's adorable.

1:58>> After I'm done my makeup, the other

2:00makeup artists are like, "Oh, you come

2:02on in. We'll get we'll take care of No,

2:04no. The point was my daughters are

2:05constantly doing my makeup. I am like

2:07the glitter king."

2:08>> We got a big We got a big show today. I

2:10want to get to one thing that's not

2:11football, but I want to tell you what we

2:12are going to talk about in the show

2:13today. We got our week four rankings.

2:14Obviously, a random ranking we do at the

2:15end of the show. We've had a lot of fun

2:16being able to do that. Chat has been a

2:18blast with that. We got some faceoffs

2:20that we are going to do, some fantasy

2:21faceoffs as to who we would want to

2:22start this week. And a quick shout out

2:24to our friends over at Trophy Smack. Use

2:25the promo code trophy week four for 10%

2:28off your orders over at trophymack.com.

2:30We're going to dive into rankings in a

2:32minute, but first, Field, you're playing

2:34through something right now. You came in

2:35with a big red Q next to your name.

2:38Yeah, but I don't miss shows, do I?

2:40>> You don't.

2:40>> Pretty rarely at least.

2:41>> You don't.

2:41>> Are you limited though? Are you going to

2:43be limited today? I need the report.

2:44>> Don't anticipate being limited. Um, but

2:46we can you guys can judge based off how

2:48my analysis goes. Okay. Um, yeah, the

2:50Eight kids will be We will not be having

2:52more than three kids is is what

2:53happened. That's where we're at is that

2:54we're done. Yeah, we're done. Took care

2:56of something yesterday. So, that there

2:58will be three Yates girls absent. And

2:59whoopsies over the next couple of

3:00months. Uh, there will be no more Yates

3:02girls going forward. When they when they

3:05take them out, do they put fake ones in

3:06there so that it's still Is that how it

3:09works?

3:09>> Lead the fifth on that one, Daniel. All

3:10right. I actually don't know too much

3:12about it. Okay. It's a very disarming

3:14process for about 25 minutes. Yeah.

3:16>> We're uh we're all dealing with

3:17something right now, right? So, I think

3:18we should do a poll and see who has the

3:20toughest recovery this week, right?

3:22Okay.

3:23>> So, Daniel Dopp dealing with his leg

3:25hair recovery. That may have hurt more

3:28than my procedure. I'm not kidding. So

3:30frustrating, which is wild. You're of

3:31course dealing with your procedure.

3:33Yeah,

3:33>> and I'm a little tired today. So,

3:35>> okay.

3:35>> Wow.

3:37>> I think we should see who has tough who

3:38has the toughest recovery today. I think

3:40we should do a poll in the chat. See

3:42what people think.

3:43>> Let's dive into our week four rankings.

3:46>> Updating projections. There's a lot of

3:47like this like

3:49>> happening the keyboard and stuff.

3:51>> Yes, I know. You know, that's a lot of

3:53that's a lot of work.

3:53>> Shout out to our buddy Eric Moody who's

3:55always hanging out in chat holding it

3:56down. Here are our top rankings at the

QB Rankings

3:58quarterback spot. Josh Allen, Lamar

4:00Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Shuck,

4:02and Bryce Young are your top five six

4:05through 10 as Brock Purie, Trevor

4:07Lawrence, Kyler Murray, Joe Burrow, and

4:08Jaylen Herz. Phil Jates, I'd like to

4:10call on you.

4:11>> Yeah, we're going to talk about three

4:12names specifically in just a moment. But

4:14can we all agree that other than Josh

4:17Allen being the quarterback god, not a

4:19lot about quarterback has gone according

4:21to scripts so far this year?

4:22>> Correct.

4:23>> Right. The idea was, at least in my

4:24opinion, the idea was like Lamar Jackson

4:27versus Jaden Daniels versus Jaylen Herz

4:30versus Joe Burrow. Throw in a few other

4:32names right there in that top tier.

4:34They're all kind of close. And rather

4:37than arguing over whether Lamar should

4:39be ahead of Jaden Daniels or Jaylen

4:41Herz, the bigger point was like they're

4:42so close that you might see Jaylen be

4:44the second drafted quarterback. You

4:45might see Lamar, but who cares, right?

4:47Instead, the answer is that it's Josh

4:50and then it's everybody else. And we've

4:52had some new names that have entered the

4:54chat. Like if I were to ask you guys

4:55just without thinking about it too much,

4:58Josh Allen is off the board. Who's the

5:00quarterback you want most rest of

5:02season? Who's your answer? Go

5:04>> probably Lamar Jackson.

5:05>> Lamar Jackson.

5:05>> Okay. And then number two beyond Lamar

5:09>> pass.

5:09>> All right. So I don't think that there

5:11is a definitive number three quarterback

5:14that I've seen through three weeks that

5:15I can say that's who I would want rest

5:17of season.

5:17>> And I'm not sure that Lamar has run away

5:20with being QB2, right? I mean, he's not

5:21QB2 in terms of scoring so far.

5:23>> No, it's that he's done well enough and

5:25I know the skill set that he has. The

5:27other guys that are in that conversation

5:28have have they played a little above

5:30their skis or is this like you're

5:32talking about is this a new group of

5:34guys to be in there? Maybe Brock Py has

5:36been amazing. Patrick Mahomes has been

5:38awesome. Like there are some names that

5:39have entered the Yeah. Anyways, um

5:42that's my big takeaway on quarterbacks

5:43so far is that those rankings look weird

5:45compared to where we were preseason.

5:47Yeah. You might have just get used to

5:48that. Matchups matter so much. And by

5:50the way, there was a lot of, "Oh man, we

5:53should have taken Allen way earlier

5:55after week two." I mean, he was QB19 in

5:57week three. So, we'll see if he actually

5:59is at that level. And he may be. I mean,

6:01we projected him well ahead of all the

6:02other quarterbacks. We ranked him ahead

6:04of all the other quarterbacks as well.

6:06But the level he was at after two weeks.

6:08The thought was maybe he actually was

6:10worth the, you know, the the replacement

6:12cost, the pre Yeah. the premium of where

6:14you would have had to take him, we'll

6:15see. I mean, back to QB19, back to

6:17Earth. He's only 13 points ahead of

6:18Brock Pury, right? who you took

6:20substantially later in draft. So, we'll

6:21see how that aspect of it pans out.

6:23>> I want to start with you, Mike, because

6:24Bryce Young is as high as he has ever

6:26been in our fantasy rankings. Coming off

6:28of a down week, unfortunately, against

6:29Cleveland, but he is getting a great

6:31matchup this week.

6:32>> Yeah, he is. Um, you mentioned back to

6:34Earth last week, 13.6 fantasy points,

6:36which at some points of his career,

6:37you'd be like, I'd take that 13 from

6:39Bryce. Um, still had 291 passing yards

6:42in that game. He actually leads the NFL

6:43in both passing yards and expected

6:45passing touchdowns. So, he's getting the

6:47passing volume. He's getting

6:49opportunities near the goal line to

6:50throw the football. That's huge.

6:52Remember weeks one and two.

6:54I mean, I want to say a good match up

6:56against Chicago, although they've been

6:57better lately, but either way, three

6:59passing touchdowns against them, three

7:00against Atlanta as well. Um, if there's

7:03a little bit of a red flag here on him

7:05sustaining QB1 numbers, it's the

7:06rushing. He has three carries for 16

7:08yards so far. Did score a rushing

7:09touchdown, which helped, but he didn't

7:11do a lot of that last year. So, we'll

7:12see. Of course, to your point, why is he

7:15ranked QB3, QB5, QB3 by us this week?

7:18Daniel, avert your ears.

7:20>> I don't like it, guys.

7:21>> They're playing your Detroit Lions.

7:22They've led the most passing yards and

7:24fantasy points to quarterbacks so far,

7:26as well as nine touchdowns already.

7:28They've played Josh Allen, Gino Smith,

7:31and Tyler Shuck. They have all put up at

7:33least 23 points against his defense.

7:36Bryce is in a great spot. He's playing

7:37well. Great matchup. Lots to love here.

7:40>> I couldn't agree more. I'm going to save

7:41too many thoughts because I have a

7:43another Panther that will come up in our

7:44rankings conversation in just a little

7:46bit. Like do you expect at some point

7:48your Lions defense is going to show up

7:50or have you just kind of succumbed to

7:51the idea that all right we are going to

7:54score 30 plus in almost every game we

7:56are also going to allow 30 plus in

7:58almost every game?

7:59>> I think more that one.

8:00>> Okay. Yeah. I I mean where are the

8:02answers right? Like it doesn't sound

8:05like Kirby Joseph is anywhere close to

8:07>> I was going to say the answers are

8:08getting the two safeties back Brian

8:09Branch and Kirby Joseph. And without

8:11that happening we've got a huge hole at

8:12the number two quarterback spot. Then

8:14Campbell won't even confirm that Kirby

8:16Joseph's gonna play again this year.

8:18>> I know

8:19>> like he's stopping short of that. I know

8:20that we don't talk a lot of defense

8:22here, but we're talking about how

8:23exploitable the Lions are. And Brian

8:25Branch at some point sounds like he will

8:27be back, but a defensive back coming off

8:29of an Achilles tear isn't the same as

8:31Brian Branch at his peak. So this is why

8:34the Detroit Lions honestly are the most

8:36fantasy friendly team in all of football

8:39because their offense scores so many

8:40points. They have so many superstars and

8:42their defense is so bad that it allows

8:44the other team's offense to score so

8:46many points and then it's just a

8:47shootout, a barrage of passing back and

8:50forth. Like they are the most fantasy

8:52friendly team in the not offense just

8:53like team in the NFL.

8:55>> I feel like the only way that one of

8:56their games does not go this way is if

8:58and they play obviously in a dome. So

9:00this and they play in a division with

9:02another dome team.

9:03>> Um maybe they'll play a monsoon game or

9:05something soon

9:06>> rather. Yeah,

9:07>> like that. Other than that, I can't

9:08imagine a Lions game not being extremely

9:10high scored.

9:11>> Yeah, they're they're similar to Dallas

9:13last year. You have to wonder with their

9:14light schedule and their good offense

9:16and their window open, there's plenty of

9:18opportunity in the NB in the NFC. I

9:20wonder if they're like Dallas at the

9:22trade deadline and try to make some

9:23defensive acquisitions. They might have

9:24to because if they're like, "Hey, we

9:25have a shot this year with this slate.

9:26We can win potentially win the

9:28conference." They need the Raiders to

9:30start losing a lot of games because Max

9:32Crosby,

9:34we're aligned on Bryce Young. Who's your

9:36pick for quarterback, Daniel?

9:37>> I'm out on Jaylen Herz this week, my

9:40friends. Jaylen Herz has been really

9:41difficult

9:42>> picking on each other here.

9:43>> Yeah, a little bit. And this isn't about

9:44you, Michael, but backtoback weeks

9:46finishing outside the top 15 at

9:49quarterback, guys.

9:50>> Checking the Charlotte weather.

9:51>> And that was against the Titans and the

9:53Bears. Those aren't like defenses that

9:54we thought was going to make him be this

9:57far down the line. His rushing upside

9:59just is not the same as it was last

10:00year. That has basically disappeared.

10:03the loss of AJ Brown, even though he has

10:05a true wide receiver one in Devonte

10:07Smith, I think the loss of AJ Brown is

10:09just another weapon that hasn't given

10:11him a passing outlet. Even though we've

10:12seen a little bit over the time over

10:14here, and the Rams, this is just a tough

10:17defense. Regardless of what they have

10:19done, they have given up over 20 fantasy

10:21points to quarterbacks in two of the

10:22last three weeks. But I'm just expecting

10:24a much tougher outing for Jaylen Herz in

10:26this one. He's not the guy that we

10:28thought he was coming into the season.

10:30Similar to that Saquon Barkley

10:32conversation, I don't really think he's

10:34a tier one guy right now. I think he's

10:36more like a high-end tier 2 quarterback.

10:38Still a low-end QB1, but this week he's

10:41very low-end QB1.

10:42>> Yeah, he's close. I mean, he has 16

10:44carries, 87 yards, and one touchdown on

10:46the ground. That was like Josh Allen's

10:47week two.

10:47>> Yeah, pretty much.

10:48>> But I mean, I think he had 16 carries in

10:50week uh week two. Uh yeah, I mean, look,

10:52the offense struggled last year. His

10:54rushing was rolled back from about 150

10:57carries to about 105 last year and he

10:59was QB8 in fantasy points per game. Now

11:01it's the offense doesn't look much

11:03better maybe week one but not not since

11:05then and he's running perhaps even less

11:07>> and they lost.

11:08>> He might not be at QB1 much longer.

11:10>> Yeah,

11:10>> he might be like Mariota or Kyler Murray

11:13level at this point. So they have to get

11:14it going. They have to figure out how to

11:15move the schedule is easy much like

11:17Detroit's going forward. That helps for

11:19sure.

11:19>> But the offense needs to be more

11:21efficient and he has to add a little bit

11:23more with his life. Do you guys know

11:24where you have them ranked this week

11:24against the Rams?

11:25>> Quarterback 11 for me.

11:26>> You have them 11.

11:27>> I am 11 as well. 11. Yeah. Okay.

11:29>> By the way, um I think that week one

11:31might actually be painting like a

11:34slightly rosier picture for where Jaylen

11:36Hurst is at right now compared to where

11:38it was.

11:38>> Definitely.

11:39>> That game against Washington, he had one

11:41passing touchdown till the fourth

11:42quarter.

11:43>> He got two in the and those count

11:44obviously, right? But like it was a slog

11:46for three quarters there. Week two, they

11:49win a game against Tennessee that was

11:50far closer than we anticipated. And this

11:52past week he lays an egg. He does have a

11:55rushing touchdown against the Bears, but

11:56otherwise an unforgettable night. This

11:58>> the entire Eagles offense has my

12:00concerns.

12:00>> Yeah. Right. I mean, ultimately they

12:03have taken clubs out of the bag of both

12:05Jaylen Herz and Saquon Barkley to be

12:07elite fantasy weapons. Yeah, they can

12:09coexist together, but the truth is that

12:11Saquin and a different offense not

12:13playing with Jaylen Herz is probably a

12:15more valuable player. I don't think that

12:17Jaylen his value is determined by

12:19Saquon's presence one way or the other

12:21but Saquon Jaylen not being able to run

12:23nearly as much as and that could be an

12:25age thing right he's getting not old but

12:27he is you know he's what eight years

12:28into his career now like at some point

12:30you have to be mindful of the wear and

12:32tear even of the most durable steady

12:34quarterbacks like Jayen Herz who's an

12:36absolute freight train but yeah we may

12:38have seen the sun set on Jaylen Herz

12:41being a top three to four fantasy

12:43quarterback he's an amazing real life

12:44quarterback

12:45>> yes but a fantasy quarterback back might

12:46be a different conversation.

12:47>> Push push really elevated him for a

12:49while and that's not where it's at now.

12:50But if you remember in history like

12:52that's just not going to be the Jaylen

12:53Herz. By the way, your golf metaphor

12:55>> I was just going to say that point. I

12:56was waiting for my opportunity. We've

12:58been making a lot of different sport

12:59references. I like that one. We're

13:00gloves out of the bag.

13:01>> Uh that's like a pretty common golf

13:03>> metaphor.

13:04That's not I mean that was a good one. I

13:06like basically the Tiger Woods of ESPN.

13:08I'm surprised you haven't heard it.

13:09>> Couldn't wait to pounce on that, but he

13:10just kept talking. I was like, come on,

13:12man. Uh my quarterback pick is a name

13:14that might

13:14>> Go ahead. Why don't you talk some more?

13:15Phil, go ahead.

13:16>> Just mentioned. Sorry. Wait, do you have

13:18more to say?

13:18>> No, no, no, no, no. It was just cuz

13:19Mike.

13:20>> Um, you mentioned his name, Mike. Kyler

13:23Murray. I think this is the one of the

13:26second straight week I've brought him up

13:27as a topic. Last week it was like, can

13:29we resurrect Kyler Murray as a fantasy

13:31starter? The Bucks,

13:33>> the Vikings, excuse me, who played the

13:34Bucks last week,

13:36>> have three straight games under 250

13:38yards of total offense. Mhm.

13:40>> If Kyler Murray does not get the job

13:42done this weekend,

13:43>> then we might be kicking him to the curb

13:45as a fantasy asset, much less an elite

13:48fantasy quarterback.

13:49>> The reason, of course, they play the the

13:50Miami Dolphins. Miami actually, if you

13:53look at some of the fantasy points

13:56allowed to quarterbacks, passing yards

13:58to quarterbacks, not terrible. It's just

14:01that teams don't really need to throw

14:03the football that much against Miami.

14:05>> But check this out. when they do. The

14:07Dolphins defensively have accounted for

14:09a total of zero sacks. The only team in

14:11the NFL without a single sack this year.

14:13Quarterbacks have plenty of time. What

14:15does time generally lead to? Better

14:17accuracy.

14:19Opposing quarterbacks are completing

14:2180.3%

14:22of their passes against the Dolphins

14:24defense. Right now, they are the best

14:26quarterback in NFL history when facing

14:28off against this Dolphins defense for

14:30three weeks. They are allowing the

14:32Dolphins are 9.1 yards per attempt so

14:36far. That is second worst in the NFL.

14:38Only the Cardinals are worse.

14:40>> Miami's defense is so bad and so

14:43generous.

14:43>> How bad is are they field?

14:44>> I mean that's that they make teams they

14:46make opposing quarterbacks.

14:47>> Basically they're bad.

14:48>> No, that was a joke. Oh,

14:49>> you were like they're so bad. And I was

14:50like how bad are they field?

14:51>> So bad.

14:52>> Oh, okay.

14:53>> I don't know. Landed flat.

14:54>> They're so bad that I

14:56>> It's like a yo mama joke, guys.

14:59>> Yep. But we don't have a good we don't

15:01have a good uh metaphor.

15:02>> And then I don't have a good thought.

15:04>> He's a metaphor guy today.

15:05>> Yeah, metaphor guy.

15:07>> The clubs in the bag of the Dolphins

15:09defense.

15:10>> There are none of them. Uh the defense

15:12is terrible. Kyler Murray, if not now,

15:14never. Right. So if Kyler can't perform

15:15at a high level this week, then we can

15:17just kiss the Kyler Murray as a

15:19quarterback starter experiment goodbye.

15:21Agree. and we'll pivot to other names

15:23that were drafted outside the top 10 as

15:26either streaming options or guys that

15:28could fill your roster spot for four to

15:30six weeks.

15:31>> I have some Kyler thoughts, but I'm

15:32going to save them for a little later in

15:33the show when Mike and I maybe go back

15:35and forth a little bit. We have a couple

15:36of questions though before we move on

15:38from our chat about the quarterback

15:40position this week.

15:41>> And our first question we have from our

15:42YouTube chat comes from the wonderful

15:45Christina Buswell. Hey,

15:47>> can I start Gino Smith over Drake May?

Mailbag

15:50May continues to burn me, but can I

15:51really trust Gino?

15:53>> By the way, this is against you.

15:55>> Yeah, here's the thing. She's playing me

15:57in the show league this week, guys. So,

15:59I think she should play Drake May. What

16:00about you?

16:01>> You have Gino over me?

16:03>> I would play Gino over Drake May. Gino

16:05against Chicago.

16:06>> Um,

16:07>> it's close. I've got Drake May.

16:11Honestly, it's so close. I don't know

16:14who I have right now.

16:14>> How close is it?

16:15>> So close.

16:16>> Still not land. All right. I'm not

16:18again, guys. I don't get it. Um I'm I'm

16:20completely flumxed. I don't know. Um I

16:22>> I do a May ahead by a little bit.

16:24>> Oh, do you?

16:24>> There we go. David,

16:25>> I've got May ahead of Gino Smith, so my

16:27answer is strict.

16:27>> I don't feel great about either, but is

16:29what it is.

16:29>> Prescott or Bryce Young this week, guys?

16:31>> Oh, come on. This Bryce Young. We just

16:33talked about it. This one's not even

16:34close.

16:34>> Got to go Bryce Young. It's just the

16:36matchup.

16:38>> Mr. ANC, Mariota or Kyler Murray, guys.

16:41>> Man, it's it's crazy because like who do

16:43you have more confidence in playing well

16:45this weekend?

16:45>> Marcus Mariota. And who do you have more

16:47confidence in the matchup in this week?

16:49>> Kyler Murray.

16:49>> Yeah, but it's it's close.

16:51>> It's not like the Colts are any good

16:53defensively.

16:53>> Yeah.

16:54>> Um

16:54>> Um

16:55>> Yeah, I'm overseas, too.

16:57>> I've got Kyler Murray ranked ahead of

16:58him.

16:58>> Me too, too.

16:59>> Just so I take Kyler.

17:00>> Yeah,

17:00>> I got him at six. All right, let's talk

17:02about some running backs, my friends.

17:03Running backs here in week four. The top

RB Rankings

17:0620 starts with Jir Gibbs, Bjon Robinson,

17:09Ken Walker III, Jonathan Taylor,

17:11Dererick Henry, CMC, Ashton Genty, and

17:14James Cook, as well as Chase Brown,

17:16Chuba Hubard, Jeremiah Love, Bucky

17:18Irving, Aaron Jones taking on Miami,

17:21Saquon Barkley, Cam Scatterabau,

17:22Scatteraboo rounds out the top 15.

17:24Javvante Williams, Jaylen Warren, Kairen

17:28Williams, DeAndre Swift, and David

17:30Montgomery.

17:32>> Are we talking about Warren here?

17:34If you didn't do it, I was going to.

17:35>> I just pulled out Rico D this morning.

17:36So, Warren moves up to I believe I'm at

17:389ine or 10.

17:39>> Jaylen. Yeah, Rico D was a

17:41non-participant in their estimated

17:44workout yesterday. He was out there with

17:46his teammates, but was estimated to say

17:48nonparticipant.

17:49>> I don't think any of us are talking

17:50about him, but we will talk about it

17:51tomorrow.

17:52>> Tomorrow, Thursday night preview. Yep.

17:53>> Uh, I just want to say really quickly, I

17:55want to talk about Jir Gibbs. Is there a

17:57way we can throw that panel back up on

17:58the screen? Can we see really quickly

18:00like the just the top running backs

18:02again so that we can see what what Jamir

18:04Gibbs projection is. His projection is

18:0626.18.

18:08>> Yeah. Too low probably based on what

18:10we've seen.

18:10>> Bjan Robinson's is 21.5 almost a full 5

18:14points lower.

18:15>> Wow.

18:16>> He is averaging be uh Jir Gibbs 32.8

18:20fantasy points per game. He leads the

18:22NFL with 27.6 6 touches per game on an

18:26offense that's scoring 30 points every

18:28single game. 26.18 is a massive number

18:33and also it might not be high enough.

18:35Mike, honestly, with the way that they

18:37are utilizing him, this guy really is

18:39getting the ball almost 30 times a game.

18:41>> You asked Mike yesterday if he had any

18:44like historical data points about this

18:46projection and you said you didn't know.

18:48I don't recall exactly, but I think like

18:50peak Christian McAffrey was probably in

18:53was certainly in this vicinity some

18:55weeks when the matchup was really good,

18:56but

18:56>> 27 28 points.

18:58>> Yeah, Gibbs is on a heater right now to

18:59open the season with three top three

19:01finishes. He already is 19 points ahead

19:03of Ken Walker. Think about how good Ken

19:04Walker's been so far. Scoring multiple

19:06touchdowns pretty much every game so

19:08far, if not every game. And he's he has

19:10a 19 point edge on him. I mean, he's

19:11just crushing the competition right now.

19:13And a couple thing again we we don't

19:14have to belabor. Jir gives analysis for

19:16too long but

19:18>> he has a couple of really important

19:19things going for him is maybe three

19:21actually the defense is so bad they're

19:23going to have to score points every

19:24single game. We talked about that just a

19:26moment ago. On top of that there's

19:27nobody I mean nobody behind him. Sion

19:30Vaky and Jacob Sailors like there's no

19:33threat to Jir Gibbs and Isaiah Pacheco.

19:35That could be a while right on top of

19:37that. This is a pressure cooker year for

19:40Dan Campbell and ultimately I think the

19:42coaching staff

19:43>> understands

19:45in a different I'm trying to think of

19:47like a coach like maybe maybe we've seen

19:49a little bit of this with Kyle Shanahan.

19:51He signed that extension like just

19:53before the season started. He's not

19:54going anywhere, right? So

19:56>> they aren't going to fail. They're

19:58already three and0. They look a very

19:59good team. But Kyle can play the long

20:01game a little bit more with a player

20:03like Christian McAffrey that I feel like

20:05this Lion staff like maybe is saying to

20:07themselves a couple years ago we're not

20:09just the toast of the NFC North but like

20:11we're the team that has a chance to

20:13control the conference for the next

20:14three years.

20:15>> Yep.

20:16>> Feels a little bit different right now.

20:18They got to win this year. They got to

20:19win meaningfully and it ain't going to

20:21be because of their defense. So Jir not

20:23going

20:23>> five catches, six catches, seven catches

20:26in his three games this year. Like he's

20:27just unbeliev and he's the goal line

20:28back. Like he's awesome. I just wanted

20:30to point out 26 pro 26 points for

20:32projection is just huge. That's

20:33>> a massive number here, right?

20:34>> What about uh Ashton Genty feel jates?

20:37>> Yeah. So the question that I have with

20:38Ashton Genty is whether because when you

20:40looked at those projections, six

20:42players,

20:42>> yep,

20:43>> north of 20 fantasy boys, which is a

20:44monster number. Seventh with Ashton

20:46Genty and he was at 18 plus fantasy

20:50points. The question I have for Genty

20:53going forward is whether he has a chance

20:54to jump into that elite RB1 group or if

20:58he's going to settle into more of like a

21:01solid RB2 uh after week one.

21:04>> Solid RB2 or you think an RB2?

21:07>> I mean maybe let's talk about this.

21:08>> Okay.

21:08>> Um he was obviously incredible in week

21:10one when they played the husk of the

21:12Miami Dolphins defense, right?

21:14>> Uh you have to be encouraged by the

21:16utilization. He's six in the NFL in

21:18carries. Incredibly encouraged by the

21:21passing game utilization. Everything is

21:23good on paper, right? You look at the

21:25number of opportunities he's getting.

21:27You look at the way they are using him.

21:29They're designing things for him. It's

21:30all awesome. One of my concerns coming

21:33into the season that I mentioned a few

21:34times was like, yeah, the offensive line

21:36is better, but how much better is it

21:39with Tyler Linderbomb as like the most

21:42meaningful outside contribution? They

21:44drafted Trey Zun in the fourth round,

21:46but it wasn't like they added four new

21:48starters along the offensive line.

21:49Right. Over the past two games, playing

21:52not the Miami Dolphins, Ashen Genty has

21:55averaged 2.3 and 2.9 yards per carry.

21:59Now, the Chargers suck, but their

22:01defense, I think, is pretty good. The

22:03Saints, I don't think, are some, you

22:05know, dominant defense that you're like

22:06under three yards per carry against the

22:08New Orleans Saints. Yeah, that's what

22:10you expect. Like, you don't expect that.

22:12So my question is if Ashen Jenty can't

22:14get that rushing utilization or that

22:17rushing efficiency up. He's 33rd in the

22:19NFL in yards per carry right now, maybe

22:22he settles in to more like RB12 as

22:24opposed to RB6 or seven. Yeah.

22:26Interesting. And in in this scenario

22:29where they're thinking, okay, the

22:30rushing efficiency isn't there. The

22:32adjustment here isn't to take him away

22:34from passing situations because Mike

22:36Washington Jr.'s game is, you know, he's

22:38obviously a height, weight, speed, like

22:41superstar athlete. Yeah. They're going

22:43to use him as a runner. Like that's his

22:44game. He's not much of a pass catcher.

22:45So, the adjustment would be fewer

22:47carries. Still should be involved in the

22:48passing game, but you're right. He could

22:49settle in as

22:51one.

22:52>> Yeah, the role now has elite. Yeah. Uh

22:54but the schedule coming up so far

22:56definitely has all of our attention.

22:58Keep in mind that the Raiders three and

22:590. They deserve all the flowers they are

23:01getting right now. The next eight weeks

23:03are going to be a bit of a reality

23:04check, including the next four games.

23:07Chiefs this weekend, that's very tough.

23:08The Patriots, the book is still uh out

23:11on the Patriots. Not good so far. They

23:14are good run defense though. The Bills

23:16and the Rams. So, I got my eyes

23:19>> sort of glued on this one here for

23:20Ashton Genty.

23:22>> It's going to be interesting. He only

23:23had three targets this last week with

23:24Brock Bowers back. He had a little bit

23:25more receiving game work the first two

23:27weeks without him, but it's still

23:28enough. that the passing game

23:30utilization is so good this year. Three

23:31for 37. So these are like legit schemed

23:34up. Let's get him in space versus last

23:36year where it was like Gino's about to

23:37get sacked. Let's, you know, flip the

23:39ball to Ashton for a negative one yard

23:41catch.

23:41>> Do you guys feel like, and this is not

23:43maybe not a

23:45once Fernando Mendoza potentially takes

23:47over, like quarterbacks all play

23:48differently. They all target

23:49differently. They all have their own

23:50safety valves. Like are we going to be

23:52talking about how this def this offense

23:53might look different under Fernando

23:54Mendoza than it is under Kirk Cousins

23:56with their the way that we utilize the

23:58running back in this back field?

23:59>> They want to be more aggressive at the

24:00very least. I don't think it'll change

24:01the outlook pressure much.

24:03>> Yeah, I think they want to run the

24:04offense through

24:04>> Gentle

24:07with you. All right. What about Jeremiah

24:08Love?

24:08>> Uh yes, speaking of a guy who we need a

24:11little more efficiency out of. Um it

24:13started great last week. He was

24:14averaging about five and a half, six

24:16yards per carry for most of that game.

24:17it kind of fell off late uh in that

24:20game. But um the big news was just they

24:22turned the backfield over to him in week

24:24three after limiting him the first two

24:26games, which is again something we saw

24:28coming considering how much of the

24:29offseason that he missed. But you look

24:31at the comps here very quickly. Weeks

24:33one and two, he played 43% of the snaps.

24:35That went up to 63% in week three. Weeks

24:38one and two, he totaled 95 yards and one

24:40touchdown and 25 touches. Last week

24:42alone, 109 yards and a touchdown and 26

24:45touches. So he had more in week three.

24:47in terms of touches than he did in weeks

24:48one and two combined. He also has been

24:51plenty involved in the passing game. He

24:52has at least three targets in every game

24:53so far this season. And here's the

24:56thing, this is going to be his best

24:58matchup so far. There's a big

24:59opportunity here. They're playing the

25:00Giants. They're allowing 5.1 yards per

25:02carry to back so far this season. That's

25:04third highest. Uh I've talked about how

25:06their schedule is pretty tough during

25:07the regular season and very easy during

25:09the fantasy playoffs, which is something

25:11that was very intriguing to me. Um but

25:13this is one of those good matchups. So

25:15big opportunity here for Love. We got

25:18the volume last week. If he gets 20

25:19touches again and the efficiency is

25:21better and he scores a touchdown again,

25:22I mean, he's going to be right in that

25:24RB1 mix every week. Giants this week,

25:26>> Lions next week.

25:27>> Yeah, back toback good ones and then it

25:28gets tougher again. So this is a big

25:30window here for Jeremiah Love.

25:32>> Yeah, the Lions obviously are a bigger

25:33question defending the pass, but they

25:35haven't been a whole lot better

25:36defending the run so far this season.

25:38Yeah, this would be great. And I really,

25:40really hope that the first two weeks of

25:42the Cardinals playing Tyler Algier as

25:44much as they did was not stubbornness,

25:46but was truly just, hey, the guy's

25:48coming off a high ankle sprain. Like,

25:50>> that's it. It had to be

25:51>> being smart, right?

25:52>> I hope it was.

25:53>> Yeah.

25:53>> I've not put anything past NFL coach

25:55running back, right? You know, so that's

25:57the hope. And the hope is that what we

25:58saw on Sunday, with all due respect to

26:00Tyler Algier, is the new norm going

26:02forward.

26:02>> I love it, though. Be smart with your

26:04young new asset. That's amazing. Let's

26:05take a couple of questions before we

26:06dive into wide receivers from our

26:08mailbag. Running back questions this

26:10week. Zachary wants to know Montgomery

26:12with Nico Collins healthy or Warren with

Mailbag

26:16no Rico.

26:17>> Yeah, Mike just mentioned right now we'd

26:19say Rico is iffy at the very best for

26:21Thursday night. So definitely Jon

26:23Warren. Also, is there any indication

26:25that Nico Collins is playing this week?

26:26>> I don't think so. I think that's more a

26:27question of if he plays this week. I

26:29think there is a big without Nico

26:32Collins that offense isn't doing

26:33anything. I don't really want to play

26:34David Montgomery unless Nico can be a

26:36part of it because that offense can't be

26:37unlocked without Nico.

26:38>> Yeah, I'm going to go with Jaylen

26:39Warren. I'm with you on that. Nico

26:41doesn't really affect my Montgomery

26:42evaluation anyway. It might maybe it

26:44improves the idea as the offense gets

26:46closer to the end zone, but not enough

26:49to not super material. Uh but yes,

26:51Warren is I'd say a fringe RB1. So, he's

26:54he's the guy here. Love that. All right,

26:56another question here from our YouTube

26:58chat. Derek Bruce wants to know Hampton

27:00or Burden in the flex. Omar and Hampton.

27:03>> You want this one, Daniel?

27:04>> Or Luther Burden. Well, I loved Omar and

27:06Hampton coming into the season. Mike

27:08loved Luther Burden coming into the

27:09season.

27:09>> I wouldn't go that far. I mean, I did

27:11like him the final few weeks of the

27:13>> offseason when his ADP came back to

27:15earth. Yeah,

27:15>> you hated Luther Burden.

27:16>> I did until the last few weeks of the

27:18offseason when his ADP came back to

27:20Earth.

27:21>> I drafted him a couple times late.

27:22>> My answers are Maring Hampton.

27:24>> I would probably still go with the

27:25running back that's going to touch the

27:26ball a bunch.

27:27>> Not me.

27:28>> You

27:29heavily utilized last week. uh playing

27:32well. I mean, he's quietly been okay so

27:34far. It just seems like it's been a

27:36disaster there. But the the Premier pass

27:38catchers, he's been fine and had a good

27:39game last week. Good connection. Uh with

27:41Case Keenum, what Hampton I'm very

27:43concerned about. We'll talk more about

27:45>> doesn't start this week.

27:45>> Yeah. What do you guys think? Do you

27:46think they

27:47>> they've been talking about Tyson Bean

27:49being the guy, right?

27:50>> What did Ben Johnson say? He's like Bean

27:52won the number two job over him. So,

27:54there's a reason for that.

27:55>> I'm going to guess based off what

27:57happened on Monday night. that Case

27:58Kum's gonna be the guy until he falls

28:00flat on his face or Kale Williams

28:02returns.

28:02>> If Case Keenum is the guy, it does put

28:04more stock in the Luther Burden basket

28:06for me. If it's Tyson Begent, I would

28:08definitely go more. I don't know. I just

28:09don't have the same trust.

28:10>> Ben Johnson is telling us that Begent is

28:12better than Case Keenum. So, in theory,

28:13>> Johnson's offense also put up three

28:15points in week two. So,

28:16>> well, they also just crushed the Eagles

28:17defense and they put up 60 points in

28:19week one or whatever it was. I don't

28:21>> that was that was the lion

28:24still in there. A little bit of

28:25bitterness. All right, let's dive into

28:26the wide receivers. Wide receivers here

28:29in week four. JSN, Jamar Chase, Aman

WR Rankings

28:32Ross St. Brown, Puka Nakua,

28:33>> he's good.

28:34>> Chris Olive, Justin Jefferson, Sidi

28:36Lamb, Drake London, just superstars,

28:38man. Garrett Wilson, Z Flowers, Nico

28:41Collins if he plays, Parker Washington,

28:43Dvonte Smith, Tedoa McMillan, Rashi

28:45Rice, Devonte Adams, that is a top 16

28:48with Christian Watson, George Pickins,

28:50T. Higgins, and Jaylen Coker rounding

28:53out the top 20 guys. Big big day for

28:55Pukanakua today by the way. We'll see

28:57whether he does practice for the Rams. I

29:00would say this, the reporting has

29:01indicated that Sean McVey has flat out

29:03said this sounds like there's a chance

29:04of play this weekend.

29:05>> Mhm.

29:06>> Something about that situation is not

29:08passing the smell test for me.

29:10>> Yep. I'm with you on that.

29:11>> We'll we'll figure out we'll have a

29:12better picture of that after practice

29:14today.

29:14>> I want to ask you about Tedo McMillan.

29:17Last week, uh Jaylen Coker kind of got

29:19banged up and dealing with some stuff.

29:21>> How you feeling about both Ted? I guess

29:23you could put both of them in there if

29:24you want to. Tedo and Jayen.

29:26>> Yeah, we'll keep an eye on on Jaylen

29:27Coker's status. Sounds like he's

29:29probably iffy for Sunday night, but we

29:31will discuss that further based off

29:33practice information for the next three

29:34days. Have you guys heard this? Alliance

29:36really struggled defensively.

29:38>> Thanks, Field.

29:38>> Do you know how many passing yards per

29:40game they're currently allowing?

29:41>> No, I don't.

29:42>> 700.

29:43>> Okay. Close.

29:44>> Okay.

29:44>> Close. Over 299.

29:48>> That's basically

29:49>> It's the worst. If it holds up, it's the

29:51worst over the past decade. I mean, it's

29:53it's rare to see teams allow over 275

29:56and they're at nearly 300 passing yards

29:59per game. Sample size is small.

30:01Obviously, a lot of football to go, but

30:03not a lot of reasons for optimism as we

30:05discussed earlier on.

30:07>> Have won a Super Bowl that have allowed

30:08almost 300 passing yards a game.

30:10>> Guess zero.

30:11>> That's not good for my future then.

30:13>> I'm going to guess that. They've worked

30:14their answer.

30:15>> They already benched a corner. Maybe

30:16that'll be maybe that'll help.

30:17>> Maybe that'll help. We

30:19>> sing benched.

30:19>> Yeah. Who could have seen that coming?

30:21It's like the Packers offensive line and

30:22the Lions cornerback room. Who could

30:24have seen those two?

30:25>> At least the Packers though are just

30:26signing all available offensive lineman

30:28on free. Amazing overhaul.

30:30>> Anyways, two wide receivers have already

30:32put up 26.7 or more fantasy points

30:35against this Lions team. That was Chris

30:37Olive in week one, Garrett Wilson last

30:39week. It's kind of funny how Josh Allen

30:40put up over 40 against the Bills and

30:43there was no wide receiver at even 12

30:45fantasy points.

30:46>> D Kate had a big day. Yes, Josh Allen

30:49had a big day himself. Uh, it was kind

30:52of a sort of divvy it up. That was a

30:53game that DJ Moore got hurt. So, wide

30:56receivers can have themselves. Yeah,

30:57sorry. Um, can have themselves a day

30:59against the Lions. So, on Sunday night,

31:02>> I told you guys I'm checking to see

31:04whether the Lions will ever play in a

31:05bad weather day.

31:07>> I went and opened up the app. Charlotte

31:09Saturday and Sunday is supposed to get a

31:11lot of rain.

31:12>> It's supposed to stop before kickoff.

31:14So, it looks like by the time kickoff is

31:15around, rain will be no issue, which

31:18even if rain were prevalent for the

31:19game, I still would have a hard time not

31:21starting Tedaro McMillan against

31:22Daniel's Lions. He's my wide receiver 10

31:24this week, which is uh where would

31:26exactly where Daniel is and five spots

31:28ahead of him.

31:29>> Yeah, I'm a hair lower, but lot of lot

31:30of names in that vicinity. And Jaylen

31:32Coker, if he is healthy, we have him as

31:33a top 20 option. All the things that you

31:35had talked about.

31:36>> Bryson Tummaine flag that name as a

31:39possible Raheem Sanders pick for this

31:42week.

31:42>> I like it. Mike, where are you going

31:43with this one?

31:44>> Uh, I'm going Rushy Rice. Uh, going the

31:46right direction. You know, he just had

31:47to get me burned from the knockout

31:49league in week one and then he started

31:50playing football. Uh, he tried though.

31:52He did score that one touchdown, one of

31:54his two targets in week one. But guys,

31:55he's another guy who missed a lot of

31:57time in the offseason, who's trending up

31:58over the first few weeks of the season.

32:00It seemed like there was intent there to

32:03not really use him a lot. He was on the

32:04field a lot, but not target him the

32:06first couple of games. It was just like,

32:07why is he not the first read at all?

32:08That was especially the case in week

32:10one. Still found the end zone. 2 ramped

32:11up to 4 for83 on six targets. But last

32:14week finally, even in a very low volume

32:16game, 7 for8 on nine targets, he had a

32:1939% target share against the Dolphins.

32:22Uh career-high usage this year and snaps

32:25at 79% and route participation 75%. He's

32:28been around a while on a per game basis.

32:30He's never hit numbers like that. So

32:31that's a good step forward for um Rashi

32:34Rice. They're playing the Raiders. I

32:36will say this, they've allowed the third

32:37fewest fantasy points to receivers. It's

32:40a little bit of a trap. They haven't

32:41allowed a touchdown to a receiver yet.

32:42They have allowed five passing

32:44touchdowns. They just happened to they

32:45haven't happened to go to a receiver.

32:47That'll correct itself going forward.

32:49And even without a score, Chris Alave

32:5019.7 points against him last week. Uh

32:53Caleb Douglas had 14.4 against him. So

32:55number ones have had decent success even

32:58without finding the end zone. So feeling

33:00really good about Rashi Rice. Not going

33:01to get him into the wide receiver one

33:02mix just yet. I want to see it another

33:04week. But he is at least a very good

33:06wide receiver too at this point. And you

33:08know what doesn't seem like it's

33:09happening? Xavier Worthy postype. Yeah.

33:12>> My gosh.

33:12>> Yeah. They He looked

33:15>> He looked good week one and but I again

33:17I think that was just a factor of like

33:19we're not using Rice yet

33:20>> and now it's kind of faded away a little

33:22bit.

33:22>> What was the line in week one? I still,

33:24you know, I feel like it's I I only have

33:26a little bit of

33:27>> his line in week one

33:28>> for Xavier Worthy. Xavier Worthy.

33:30>> He was featured. I think he saw a lot of

33:31targets, right? They were they seem to

33:33be trying to utilize him a lot.

33:34>> Six targets, three catches for 18 yards.

33:37>> Yeah. So then it wasn't like the

33:38production wasn't there, but the effort

33:40to get him the football was there.

33:41>> Next week, seven targets, five catches,

33:4325 yards, and a touchdown.

33:45>> Yeah. I mean,

33:45>> then only two targets.

33:46>> I was watching Rice very closely in that

33:48week one game because I had I was in

33:50jeopardy of losing a knockout, right? So

33:53in the past, Rashi Rice would run them

33:55quick slants and stuff. They would do

33:56everything they can to get him the

33:57football. They were doing that with

33:58Worthy out of the gate in that game.

34:00They weren't doing it with Rice. So

34:02interesting.

34:02>> Uh that was that was the notable change.

34:04But again, that changed last week and

34:06that's a good sign going forward. Do you

34:07guys when you're talking about a player

34:09and his career, if a player does

34:11something in the in the in the playoffs,

34:13do you count that when like remember

34:14last year it was, hey, Matthew Golden

34:16did not score a single touchdown in

34:18playoff game.

34:19>> Xavier Worthy

34:20>> sometimes when when appropriate. Yes.

34:22>> Xavier Worthy has zero career 100 yard

34:25games unless you count the Super Bowl

34:27when he in garbage time.

34:28>> That's crazy.

34:29>> In garbage time, he

34:31>> I was I was partying in the bleachers at

34:33that point. I mean that was it was over.

34:34I mean I was like hey good good for

34:36>> worthy.5 savvi bees.

34:38>> Oh literally more than that. More than

34:41that was a that was a tricky one cuz I

34:44was enjoying that but I also I had the I

34:46was I had the sore throat because I was

34:47getting the flu

34:48>> as or not the flu I was getting like

34:50whatever uh an illness a cold or some

34:52sort. So you know it's often starts with

34:53the sore throat and I had that during

34:55that game.

34:56>> Uh so I was sipping some drinks

34:58terrible. You were like, "You know what?

34:59Honestly, like you're sitting there

35:00talking to your girlfriend. You're like,

35:02>> "Maybe we just don't go to the game."

35:03>> Yeah.

35:03>> You know, we just Super Bowl, right?

35:05Like

35:06>> maybe they'll play in the Hall of Fame

35:08game next year. We can go to that

35:09instead. Yeah. No way. No way. That was

35:10I was battling through that. It was that

35:12was amazing. But yeah, I remember uh

35:13Worthy scoring right in front of us

35:15twice in the late in that game, but um

35:17didn't matter at that point. The game

35:18was way over with.

35:19>> Want to give a little shout out to

35:20little shout out to you, Field Jates.

35:22>> Oh, Christian Watson's been your guy to

35:23start the season. He's been really good

35:25for what it's worth.

35:26>> Freshing it.

35:26>> Great volume. Great,

35:28>> great volume. Wide receiver six in

35:30targets, 12th in receptions, fifth in

35:32receiving yards, third in receiving

35:34touchdowns. The running game doesn't

35:36work in Green Bay, which is great if you

35:39have a Christian Watson guy on your

35:40roster. He's been fantastic from that

35:42perspective. It seems like it's going to

35:43be another condensed target tree. I'm

35:45assuming hasn't officially been ruled

35:47out, but we're very doubtful to see

35:48Jaden Reed this week. So, it should be

35:50Matthew Golden and Tucker Craft. Tucker

35:52Craft hasn't really materialized the way

35:54that we were thinking he may at the

35:56earlier parts of the season. So, it's

35:57really just him and Matthew Golden.

35:59They're taking on Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay

36:02just allowed 20 fantasy points to Denzel

36:04Boston, 20 fantasy points to Jordan

36:06Addison.

36:07>> The only team they haven't allowed 20

36:09fantasy points to a wide receiver to is

36:10actually the Cincinnati Bengals with

36:13against. But, um

36:14>> I think right now Christian Watson

36:16locked in as a wide receiver too with

36:18that volume and the way that that

36:19offense is playing. He is the guy that

36:20everything is running through. I know

36:22we've said this a million times about

36:23him. Just got to stay healthy and if he

36:25does, he'll probably be as long as he's

36:26healthy. Top 20 for wide receiver.

36:27>> By the way, Packers pass heaviest

36:29offense in the NFL. That's a little bit

36:31of it's actually a lot of bit of game

36:33script. They to your I remember you

36:35talking about this. I was a little more

36:36hesitant on it based on Matt Laflur's

36:39track record, but they're calling the

36:41pass heaviest offense in the NFL and

36:42their game scripts have been very

36:44beneficial for the past because they've

36:46been trailing. They've had to throw a

36:47lot. So, they've called pass 73% of the

36:49time. That's easily number one in the

36:50league. It'll come down, but for now, as

36:53long as Josh Jacobs is out, it might not

36:54come down by a lot. Yeah,

36:55>> kind of a mess. Let's go to our tight

36:57ends to wrap things up here.

36:58>> We're going to do a couple questions

36:59first really quickly about wide

37:00receivers from our YouTube chat.

37:03>> Shout out to Red Alert 206 wants to

Mailbag

37:05know, "Half point PPR,

37:07>> Josh Downs or Scary Terry in the Flex?"

37:09>> Gary Terry

37:10>> for sure.

37:10>> Great matchup.

37:11>> Scary Terry, Scary Terry. Uh, they're

37:13both is not his nickname. I hate them

37:15both. Uh, I'm on I'm on downs. I I have

37:18them very close, but I'm more optimistic

37:20than you guys and Josh now. Just the

37:22volume is huge and remember they're

37:23playing Washington. They've allowed the

37:24most fantasy points to receiver so far.

37:26>> Good spot.

37:26>> Great goalie wants to know David

37:28Montgomery or Lad Manki in the fight.

37:30>> Montgomery for me. Lad, tough match up

37:31against Seattle.

37:32>> I don't love Seattle.

37:33>> That's a tough call. I'll lean towards

37:35Montgomery and hope he finds the end

37:36zone.

37:36>> That's what I'm doing too.

37:38>> Open Monty falls into the painted area.

37:41Last one here. Hoodie Squanch wants to

37:44know Cooker or Coker or Boston. I'd be

37:47Jaylen Cooker if he's healthy.

37:49>> Yeah, Coker if he's healthy. Obviously,

37:50you have to pivot off of him if he's not

37:52going to play, but that we agreed that

37:54one Sunday night, so that might be a

37:55tricky one. I think we'll have clarity.

37:57I hope so. Oh, I'm sorry. Because the

37:59Browns play Thursday. Um

38:00>> Oh, right. Yeah, they do. Didn't even

38:02think about that part of it.

38:04>> If there's a legitimate question mark,

38:06if we go DMP DMP for Jaylen Coker, you

38:08play Denzel Boston.

38:09>> I think so. If we go if there's any

38:11practice from Jaylen Coker Wednesday or

38:13Thursday, I'm going Jaylen Cooker.

38:15>> Yeah. And keep an eye. I mean, if you

38:17could find a similar option to

38:20>> Yeah. Yeah, you could. Darren, that's

38:22what I mean. If maybe you could find

38:23another option, too, because remember,

38:25Boston is going up against the Steelers.

38:27I mean, that's a tough defense. So,

38:28>> definitely

38:29>> here. Definitely a chance of a dud

38:30there. That makes me a little nervous.

38:32>> Let's dive into some tight ends.

38:33>> Let's do Speaking of which,

38:35>> top 10 tight ends,

TE Rankings

38:38Trey McBride, Brock Bowers, George KD,

38:41Tyler Warren, Travis Kelce. That is the

38:44top five. Six through 10. Sam Leaporta

38:46famously played college ball for the

38:48Atlanta Hawkeyes. Isaiah likely, Don

38:51Cade, Harold F Jr., and Jawan Johnson.

38:54>> You say the Atlanta Hawkeyes.

38:55>> Don't you got to read the news?

38:57>> Don't, Mike. Just let's just keep moving

38:58on. Guys, let's talk about Brock Bowers.

39:00He looked great last week. Yeah, that's

39:02my pick for tight end this week.

39:04>> Give it to me field.

39:05>> I unlike you guys have him as tight end

39:07one.

39:07>> Wow, that's embarrassing for you.

39:09>> Eric Moody as well has him as tight end

39:11one because he knows ball.

39:12>> Oh, we have we must have Trey McBride as

39:14tight one. Is that what it is?

39:15>> Is he good? I don't

39:16>> you do he done anything the last couple

39:18years? I don't

39:18>> how many what like level of wide

39:21receiver is off the table in a trade for

39:25for Brock Powers

39:27>> right now?

39:28>> That's me. I wouldn't trade him for

39:30Chase. I wouldn't trade Chase for him.

39:32>> So, no JSN, no chase.

39:33>> Uh, Amanra, I'm gonna win.

39:35>> Yeah, I'd keep Amra.

39:36>> Again, that's positioned anymore. Um,

39:39>> once you get into the CDA,

39:42yeah, I'm not trading Puka for him.

39:43Yeah, probably the London tier is where

39:45>> Okay, so we're getting like past CD Lamb

39:47and Justin Jefferson.

39:48>> I think right in that vicinity.

39:49>> Wide receiver eight through 10 range,

39:50maybe.

39:51>> All right. I I don't really have any

39:52analysis on Brock Bowers when we're

39:54we're we're choosing between 10 tight

39:56ends and because I was busy yesterday

39:58for a little while, you guys picked two

39:59already. There's not much to say about

40:00Trey McBride. I thought I would just

40:02take a moment to appreciate the

40:03ridiculousness that was Brock Bowers

40:05yesterday and do a stock check of just

40:07like rest of season, how valuable he is,

40:10not just compared to tight ends, but

40:12compared to other elite playmakers. And

40:14I think if he were a wide receiver,

40:16which he has been deployed as a wide

40:18receiver in that Las Vegas offense, he'd

40:20probably be somewhere between like wide

40:22receiver seven or eight.

40:24>> I agree with you.

40:24>> He's amazing.

40:25>> Yeah. Let's just hope their uh defense

40:27is not legit and comes back to earth a

40:29little because that's just going to we

40:30want those look they play 4 p 4 pm

40:32Eastern every week and we love just

40:34watching Bowers just soak up second half

40:36targets just keep them coming all year

40:38long baby.

40:38>> What kind of a let's say that you've got

40:40Brock Bowers and you were going to

40:42consider would you ever move him or at

40:44this point would you be like I would

40:45only only want to acquire Brock Bowers.

40:47I

40:47>> mean there's a world in which you

40:48snagged Alton Concade off of waiverss.

40:50>> I was going to say what tight end would

40:51you have to have on your roster behind

40:53Brock Bowers to consider making a move.

40:55I mean, look, if you Yeah.

40:57>> So, would would he be high enough for

40:58you?

40:59>> I mean, look, if you have concade or one

41:00of those other guys and you can move

41:01Bowers, someone will give you Jamar

41:03Chase or Amanra or Jefferson or like

41:06>> and you need a receiver. Yes.

41:08>> And you've got a tight end.

41:09>> I mean, you can certainly make the the

41:10case they're going to be similar or

41:12better.

41:12>> I would need someone better, I think,

41:13than Harold Fannon, but I don't know.

41:14How do you feel about him this week?

41:16>> Uh, I Yeah, I actually thought you would

41:17start with him because we were just

41:18talking about this game, but I mean, you

41:20know, it's still the preseason.

41:21>> I'm starting with the guy that's ranked

41:22the highest and then moving up. I

41:23apologize. Uh yeah, Harold Fannon

41:26terrific game last week. We needed that

41:27after a slow start. Seven for 51 and two

41:30touchdowns on nine targets. Remember he

41:32the dud in week one just 21 yards on

41:34three targets. Week two a little better.

41:36Five for 54 in that one and six targets.

41:38So we felt like still not a tight end

41:40one yet. Still a little nervous but then

41:42of course uh exploded in week three. Um,

41:45you know what's interesting about him is

41:47this is a little surprising, but his

41:49snaps and route participation are up big

41:51time from last year and he was

41:53outstanding. It felt like he was out out

41:55there every play last year. I know David

41:57and Joker was involved for half the

41:58season, but target share is actually up

42:00a little bit from last year as well. The

42:01key here is how well does Deshaawn

42:03Watson play? Can he keep this going?

42:04He's been

42:05>> tough match for the Browns tomorrow

42:06night.

42:07>> Yeah, he was okay week one. He was

42:09played pretty well weeks two and three

42:11and then uh yeah, this week is going to

42:13be, you know, huge. They're at home, but

42:14they're playing the Steelers to your

42:15point. We'll talk more about this one

42:16tomorrow. Uh the Steelers did leave mic

42:19open for a touchdown last week. So,

42:21there is that, I guess, in his defense.

42:22For me, Fannon, a fringe tight end one.

42:25>> Guys, I'm not talking about a tight end

42:27inside the top 10, but I do have him

42:29ranked as a top 10 tight end.

42:31>> Okay.

42:31>> And that is Darren Waller,

42:34>> the baller.

42:34>> Interesting. That's an aggressive rank.

42:36I like that.

42:37>> Yeah, you guys have him at tight end 24.

42:39>> I've got him at 10. Um, I just want to

42:42throw up a full screen. I asked our

42:44production team to build looking at what

42:45tight ends have done against the Lions

42:47so far this year. And I'll kind of lay

42:49it out to our audio listeners. Jawan

42:50Johnson, 14.2 fantasy points, scored a

42:53touchdown. Noah Fant 13.3 fantasy

42:55points. Also in week one, also scored a

42:57touchdown. Dalton Concincaid 22.5 in

42:59week two scored a touchdown. Dawson Knox

43:018 and a half also in week two also

43:03scored a touchdown. Kenyan Sadique 23

43:05and a half scored a touchdown in week

43:06three. Jeremy Rucker 14.9 also scored a

43:09touchdown in week three. They have

43:10allowed five of these six tight ends on

43:13this screen to be top 10 in fantasy

43:15football in the weeks that they have

43:17played the

43:18>> play. They've only played three games.

43:19>> Correct. Joan Johnson and Noah Fant were

43:21both top 10 tight ends in fantasy and

43:23Kenyan Sadiq and Jeremy Rucker were both

43:25top 10 tight ends in fantasy.

43:27>> Obviously Daltton Concade was as well in

43:28week two. Um it's really amazing. Do you

43:30think there's like

43:32what is behind this? Is it just

43:33randomness through three weeks?

43:36>> That's a great question. I mean that's

43:37what six of the nine touchdowns. Is that

43:39right? Did they say nine touchdowns at

43:41six times? I mean, yeah. I mean,

43:42certainly that ratio is going to

43:44probably fix itself, but it's still

43:46>> there just to have such poor safety play

43:48right now. Not that safeties are

43:49exclusively responsible for tight ends.

43:51>> We don't also have our linebackers

43:53aren't notably uh always great in

43:56coverage. You know, we don't always have

43:57the best linebackers from a coverage

43:59perspective. I love our love guy in the

44:00middle, but um yeah, allowing the most

44:02yards in the NFL, most receptions in the

44:05NFL, and most touchdowns per game in the

44:06NFL.

44:07>> I freaking love this. This was a great

44:09great stat by you. Great great ranking

44:11by you.

44:11>> Yeah, this is interesting. It's also I

44:13mean Darren Waller did see a big jump in

44:15targets last week but he's still he's

44:16still only playing half the snap. So

44:17>> two touchdowns in week two and then

44:19eight targets and eight targets by the

44:21way with no Jaylen Coker in in week

44:24three by the way. So like the cause that

44:27definitely helped. So if he is going to

44:28be out this week it would definitely

44:30boost him and that's part of why I have

44:31him there. But even against I like if

44:33every single one of those touchdown or

44:35tight ends scored a touchdown against

44:36the Detroit Lions. Every single one of

44:39them that we had on this screen. So like

44:40I think Darren Waller is finding the end

44:43zone. And maybe a spoiler alert for who

44:44I may pick for uh Longot this week.

44:47>> Yeah. Not Waller, but Well, now you're

44:50tipping your hand.

44:51>> Well, if you guys want to go ahead and

44:52be bullies and take it from

44:53>> I'm trembling about what who YOU MIGHT

44:54PICK.

44:55>> WOW. GOOD JOB, MIKE. Impressed by you,

44:58>> Mitchell. Mitchell Evans.

44:59>> Good job, buddy. Good job, buddy. You

45:01got some options.

45:01>> I love you.

45:02>> Should we just all pick a Panthers? How

45:04many do they have? Four on the roster.

45:06>> Everyone takes a Panthers.

45:08>> Mitch Evans, Tommy Tremble.

45:09>> Yeah, that's Is there Let's see. Let's

45:10see. I think they have a rookie out of

45:13>> Oh, they have five.

45:14>> Yeah, because they have

45:14>> Maybe they'll also Sanders.

45:16>> Yeah, he's he hasn't played yet, though.

45:17Felipe Franks, who's the Frank?

45:19>> Maybe he could throw one. He play He

45:20used to be a quarterback, so

45:21>> he's become a sweet special teams

Fantasy Faceoff

45:23player.

45:24>> Love that.

45:24>> Um, all right. Let's do our fantasy face

45:25off. Explain to the people.

45:27>> That's right, guys. Field, you're going

45:28to be the judge. Mike and I are going to

45:30bring two guys to the table. You're

45:31going to let us know how that's why

45:32you're in the middle.

45:33>> I should have dressed up for the

45:34courtroom for what it's worth. You guys

45:35are both wearing suits.

45:37>> Judge Fields Yates.

45:39>> Do we have any images of you in a suit

45:42>> one time?

45:43>> Oh.

45:43>> Um I wore a suit when I officiated our

45:45buddy Damen Drowski's wedding when I was

45:47in Poland. That's really it.

45:48>> The thing is you looked awesome in a

45:49suit.

45:50>> Thank you. I appreciate that. I

45:51appreciate it.

45:52>> Uh you know who else looks awesome?

45:53Kyler Murray taking on the Miami

45:54Dolphins. We already talked about it a

45:56bunch, guys, but here's the deal. We're

45:57going to give a bunch of players, two

45:59players, Mike and I are going to give a

46:00player back and forth. I'm going to say

46:02why I would start this guy. Mike would

46:04say why he would start the other guy.

46:05Fields, you get to choose in between.

46:07Who would you choose in the fantasy

46:08faceoff conversation?

46:10>> Dig it.

46:10>> I'm going with Kyler Murray against the

46:13Miami Dolphins. You already laid out the

46:15conversation earlier. Actually, can I

46:16have your notes? I'll just read that

46:17again if you don't.

46:18>> No, don't give them to him. No, this is

46:19great.

46:20>> What? This is fantastic. So, Kyler Miami

46:22is terrible. They have zero sacks this

46:25season. And did you guys know that

46:26>> quarterbacks are allowing 80.3% of

46:29passes to be completed to them. 9.1

46:31yards allowed per attempt. Honestly, one

46:34of the things that I wanted to say that

46:35I didn't when you were giving your

46:36analysis field, the other quarterbacks,

46:38not everyone has had huge games against

46:40Miami to be honest.

46:41>> Okay.

46:42>> But what those other teams have had are

46:44real running backs. It was the 49ers who

46:47had CMC. It was uh the Chiefs who had

46:49Ken Walker the third. And it was the

46:51Raiders who had Ashton Genty. I don't

46:54think that Aaron Jones is in that same

46:55level of running back. And so because of

46:57that,

46:58>> I still expect the Vikings to be doing

47:01quite a bit of offense in this one,

47:02which means if it's not coming from the

47:03running back like I did with the other

47:05three teams that played there, I just

47:06think that Kyler is going to get a

47:07little bit more than the other

47:08quarterbacks saw the previous three

47:10weeks. So that's why I am in on Kyler

47:12because of the matchup. And if I'm out,

47:14then I get burned by Kyler Murray.

47:16>> Wow.

47:16>> Mr. Clay.

47:17>> Yeah, I'm gonna take this guy Patrick

47:18Mahomes. Have you heard of him? He seems

47:20like he's pretty good at football. Yeah,

47:21I'm going to roll with him. Uh he's

47:23actually done something this season and

47:26last se I mean he was even better than

47:27him last season. Kyler Murray last

47:30scored 19 fantasy points in a game in

47:322024. It's been that long since he's had

47:34a really good fantasy game. Mahomes was

47:37top 10 in the first two weeks of the

47:38season. Didn't have to throw much last

47:40week against the Miami Dolphins who your

47:42quarterback is facing. And the Dolphins

47:45have held two quarterbacks now under 16

47:47fantasy points because teams do not have

47:48to throw the ball against them. So

47:50that's a concern with Murray. Whereas

47:52Mahomes, you know what you're getting.

47:53He's been so productive. Fifth in

47:55passing yards, fifth in passing

47:57touchdowns. Also has a rushing

47:58touchdown. The they're playing the

48:00Raiders who allowed 17 to Malik Willis.

48:02>> Yep.

48:03>> They allowed 24 to your guy Tyler Shuck.

48:05>> Yep.

48:05>> I mean, why even mess around with Kyler

48:07Murray this week? It doesn't make sense.

48:08>> I do want to say I and maybe um I might

48:10be wrong on this. I don't think the

48:12rushing that we saw in week one, that

48:14touchdown, like you take away his

48:15rushing touchdown, I know that's not the

48:16way fantasy works. He had 15 fantasy

48:18points.

48:18>> Okay. Okay, Kyler Murray has two carries

48:20for 17.

48:20>> Understand? And in week week three,

48:23Patrick Mahomes again had 15 fantasy

48:25points. When when Patrick Mahomes isn't

48:27doing the rushing stuff that he did last

48:28season, he's an average fantasy

48:30quarterback.

48:31>> Top five in passing yards and

48:32touchdowns.

48:33>> I don't think it's going to sustain.

48:35>> Um, very different approaches from the

48:37two of you, Daniel.

48:39>> I'm very I'm an emotional fantasy

48:41ranker.

48:41>> I was no in the courtroom as well. Like

48:44you much more appeal to like you the

48:46humanity side.

48:47>> Yes. Mike tries to bully his way into an

48:49argument win

48:51>> and it worked. Patrick Mahomes is my

48:54pick at the first round of the

48:55>> How do you How do you pick against

48:56Patrick Mahomes? I mean, he's right over

48:58your shoulder. Look at that imagery.

48:59Like, how do you

49:00>> That is true. All right, we'll go

49:01running back. I'll let you go first

49:02then, Mike. Maybe the problem is I led

49:04with a bad argument. Maybe you can

49:06stumble, fumble off the top.

49:07>> Yeah, this one's uh going to be a lot

49:09tighter for sure. Two players we're

49:10going to be talking about.

49:10>> Bucky Irving. I'm making the case for

49:12Bucky Irving. You're making the case for

49:14your guy Chase Brown here. M I love what

49:16I've seen from Bucky so far. He is top

49:1815 at running back in touches, yards,

49:20and fant fantasy points so far. Also

49:22second in catches among running backs,

49:24which is obviously going to bring your

49:25floor up. At least 15 touches in all

49:28three games, 90 plus yards in two of the

49:30three games. And the exception was the

49:32Vikings elite run defense last week. So,

49:35uh that's not the case against the

49:36Packers this week. They've allowed six

49:38touchdowns and the second most fantasy

49:40points to running backs so far. Even if

49:42they roll back, they rolled back Irving

49:44usage a little bit last week and he

49:45still was uh productive against a good

49:47defense. So, uh, give me Bucky Irving

49:50here over Chase Brown, who by the way

49:52has been under 11 fantasy points now in

49:54two consecutive games. Daniel,

49:56>> so Chase Brown, while being under 11

49:59fantasy points in two consecutive games,

50:01it's tough when you lead my argument

50:03with a negative stat.

50:04>> I have other negatives. Do you want me

50:05to?

50:05>> No, no. I didn't actually want you to

50:06lead him in in the first place.

50:07>> There's a lot of them here.

50:08>> Here's the thing about Chase Brown. Have

50:10you guys watched the Tampa Bay

50:11Buccaneers play football this year?

50:14>> My gosh, that team is terrible.

50:16>> Yeah.

50:16>> Do you think that without Baker Mayfield

50:18out there, you're just going to give the

50:19football to Bucky Irving and defenses

50:21aren't just going to swarm the box and

50:22be like, "Sure, we're going to let this

50:24guy beat us." No, let the quarterback

50:26beat you with his arm. Chase Brown plays

50:27on an offense that could easily score 30

50:29points a game every single week of the

50:31season. Even though last week and the

50:33week before was not great, here's what

50:35he did do. He had 21 touches in week

50:38one. He had 23 touches in week two. Last

50:41week 15 against a tough Pittsburgh

50:43defense. That's part of the defense that

50:44you could run up against with the

50:46Pittsburgh Steelers in their same

50:47division sometimes. No way. Against the

50:49Jacksonville Jaguars. I understand also

50:51another good defense, but there's no way

50:53with what this offense is and the

50:55quarterback they're going to have under

50:56center and what they will look like

50:58versus the Bucks with a backup

51:00quarterback. There's no way I'm starting

51:02Bucky Irvine over Chase Brown with

51:04everything that Chase Brown brings.

51:05>> So wait, the Jags are allowing 3.1 yards

51:07per carry to running back. So, it's

51:08probably going to slow him on the

51:09ground.

51:10>> Numbers are going to help your argument.

51:11>> And the and the uh and Chase Brown over

51:13the last two weeks is a total of 10

51:15receiving yards. So, where's he getting

51:16the production from? Not in the ground,

51:18not in the in the passing game.

51:19>> I have to give Daniel credit because

51:20that was a much better effort to

51:22persuade on that one. Like you appealed

51:24with like a little bit more zest and

51:25vigor.

51:26>> Yeah. But still not enough.

51:28>> Bucky is the guy that I'm starting.

51:30>> Mike is two and0. Let's wrap it up with

51:31wide receivers. Who do we

51:32>> All right. Hey, the problem. So, the

51:34only piece of advice is like

51:36>> you make really good points and then

51:37you're like, "Yeah, I know that

51:38Jacksonville like is like a whatever."

51:40>> I want cuz I want to be

51:41>> No, don't be No, don't be honest.

51:43>> That's the problem with lawyers. There's

51:45no objectivity. I give you my side and I

51:46don't give you the other side. I let you

51:48bring up the other side.

51:49>> By the way, are you picking Are you

51:50picking the guy you've ranked higher?

51:51Are you just like, are you just

51:53>> I'm going off of argument. Okay. Vibes.

51:55>> I like that. All right. I like that.

51:56>> How judgment

51:58I Yeah, we're going to we're going to

52:00rotate every week. So, I want to see how

52:02I should approach this in the future.

52:04I'm the judge. Okay, last one.

52:05>> Um,

52:06>> last one. Wide receiver.

52:08>> Do you want to go first or second? It's

52:09up to you.

52:10>> I want to go second again. Mike is

52:11bringing Lad Mani to the table. I'm

52:13talking Luther Burden the third.

52:15>> Yeah. So, it's a guy Lad McGunk.

52:17>> This is a tricky one. A guy you love

52:18versus a versus a guy I didn't love.

52:20This is a tricky one.

52:21>> Yeah. Yeah. Glad though.

52:22>> Look, I have him ranked two spots apart.

52:23So, this is a tricky one for sure. Uh,

52:25but give me Lad Mani here. Uh, I'm still

52:28buying in on him. Remember, he only

52:29played half the game in week one. Had

52:31five catches for 82 yards and a

52:32touchdown. Week two only played half the

52:34snaps. Did have a dud coming off the

52:36injury. We didn't know if he was going

52:37to play in that one. Smart.

52:38>> Last week, back to a full-time role. Put

52:40up 66 yards in that game. He's still I I

52:42know that offense has been bad, but he

52:44has been very busy. Um last week against

52:47Seattle, Terry McLaren put up almost 20

52:49fantasy points, 19.7. So, maybe the

52:51number one receiver can do something

52:52against this defense. Uh and I'm still a

52:55little hesitant on on the other side of

52:57this with Luther Burden. Little hesitant

52:58on if Case Keenum could do it again.

53:01Look, look, Burton is averaging 6.8

53:03yards per target this season. So, the

53:05volume is better last week, but the

53:06efficiency has not been. They're playing

53:08the Jets. Do you know that only

53:11>> one wide receiver has reached 12 fantasy

53:13points?

53:14>> I'm going to go with Almond Russ

53:15>> against the Jets. No, it's your boy

53:16Christian Watson. Yeah,

53:18>> it was 14 points. That's the most

53:20>> put up in a game against the Jets. So,

53:22Burden might have his

53:23>> his hands full here. So give give the

53:25edge to uh the guy thinks the better

53:27more polished player now healthy finally

53:29in in Lad Maki.

53:30>> If Burton's got his hands full that

53:32means he's got a lot of balls in him.

53:33>> So there's going to be a lot of

53:35opportunities guys.

53:39>> Is that the whole argument?

53:40>> No, hold on. I think I got more. Hold

53:42on. I think I got more. Uh Luther

53:43Burden, guys, 11 targets last week. By

53:46the way, did you even watch any of the

53:49Chargers games? There's no way that

53:51you're like talking about how Luther

53:52Burton has like maybe played poorly or

53:54something about this Bears offense. If

53:56you didn't watch the Chargers games,

53:59then you would be talking about Lad

54:01Makoni like he was actually good at

54:02football. But the offense is awful.

54:05There was nothing to write home about.

54:07There's no reason for optimism in this

54:09offense. There is reason for dopism

54:12around Luther Burton though because 11

54:14targets last week, seven for 61 and a

54:17touchdown clearly coming on. I'm not

54:19buying the Tyson Beijing thing. It's him

54:21and Case Keenum. He clearly looked like

54:23the guy. And in this offense, Roma Dunay

54:26out, not even thinking about starting

54:28Roma Dunes. But when I look at vibes and

54:30the way that these offenses are rolling,

54:31I don't care about the Jets defense. I

54:33don't care about any of that. I would

54:34rather have the guy that has been doing

54:36things. 11 targets, something that makes

54:38me feel like I can build off of rather

54:40than right now if I'm starting Lad Mani.

54:43I have no confidence. I have zero

54:45confidence in Lad because we're playing

54:46the Seattle Seahawks. We have gone up

54:49against a bunch of cake matchups and

54:51I've done nothing in them except for the

54:53first game. THAT WAS THREE GAMES AGO.

54:56THAT DOESN'T HELP ME IN WEEK FOUR,

54:57MICHAEL.

54:58>> All right. So, Daniel absolutely does a

55:00much better job with each round that

55:02goes by.

55:03>> He's getting angrier and making your

55:05arguments that but that's that's more

55:06persuasive. However,

55:07>> oh, I hate the howevers.

55:09>> Was it persuasive enough?

55:11>> Yes, Luther Burden. It is. Well done.

55:14>> That was the toughest case to make.

55:15>> That really was. Yeah, that was that was

55:17a tough.

55:17>> It doesn't feel good to start Lad Mani

55:19right now, but also is he the most

55:21talented wide receiver in this range of

55:24wide receivers around 25 to 35?

55:27Probably.

55:28>> I mean, there are some really players.

55:30>> Jameson Williams is like way down there.

55:31Super talented. Like, there's a bunch of

55:33guys this year. So,

55:34>> there are.

55:35>> That's the hard part. All right.

55:37>> Fun times.

55:39>> Phil, you did good as a judge.

55:40>> I didn't have to do much. Great.

55:42>> Yeah. Judge, Judy, and execution.

55:44>> For the record, I'm up two to one.

55:46Okay. We're keeping track of all of

55:48these.

55:49>> Will there be any clean sweeps this

55:50year?

Random Rankings

55:51>> I don't know. Find out. It's very

55:53important that we don't just try to be

55:55like, "All right, he got two, so he gets

55:56one." Now, as long as we keep it

55:58objective.

55:58>> Yeah.

55:59>> Guys, we are doing our Wednesday random

56:01ranking. We love the chat for this. It's

56:03always been a ton of fun. Make sure if

56:04you are in chat or if you're not, you

56:05come and hang out on the Wednesday show

56:07uh and let us know what your top

56:09rankings are. Today it is worst

56:11fictional movie or TV show plot to be

56:14stuck in.

56:16>> Worst fictional movie

56:18>> or TV show plot to be stuck in. No true

56:21crimes. No. Yeah. Documentaries,

56:23anything like that?

56:24>> Yep.

56:24>> Who wants to go first?

56:26>> Uh, you both looked at me, so I'll go

56:28first. Going first times.

56:30>> My third one is Honey, I Shrunk the

56:32Kids.

56:32>> OH, THAT WAS ON MY LIST.

56:33>> For real?

56:34>> Yeah. Just being shrunk down. That'd be

56:36scary. What if you can't come back? I

56:37was just impressed.

56:38>> It was It was on my Yeah, it was on my

56:39It was on my short list of movies to

56:40consider.

56:41>> You know, a comedy, too. So, it's fun,

56:43but also a a great movie to go back and

56:46watch, too. Um, but that would be a

56:48nightmare to be

56:49>> It'd be terrible.

56:49>> Yeah. To be that small. I mean, you're

56:51shrunk down.

56:51>> Realistically, you would just be

56:54>> gone immediately. You get eaten by a bug

56:56or something, it'd be over with. So,

56:57>> when you see like those giant ants like

56:58walking by, you're like, "Yes, that'd be

57:00terrible." It would be

57:00>> Yeah, the giant oatmeal pie sandwich in

57:02that movie. Those are great movies.

57:04Think about that. It would take you like

57:05a week and a half to eat it all. be very

57:06satisfying.

57:07>> A week and a half.

57:08>> That's it. Please.

57:09>> Depends how small you are.

57:10>> Don't ants eat fast.

57:11>> You're not. Yeah, but you're not an ant.

57:12I mean, an ant.

57:13>> You're just shrunk. You just get

57:15accidentally shrunk. That's fair. All

57:16right.

57:17>> All right. That's That's my three. Are

57:18we doing all Are we going? No. No. Oh,

57:20number three for me.

57:20>> Yeah. Do three for you.

57:21>> This is This is pretty modern, right?

57:23This is very much in vogue right now.

57:24Not a blood guy.

57:25>> The Pit. Have you guys watched The Pit?

57:27>> I have not. Uh I have not watched it

57:30yet, but I've heard everybody loves it.

57:31Everybody says it's an amazing show.

57:33I've only seen bits and pieces. Um,

57:35>> like that's not where you would thrive.

57:37>> The blood not for me. And like

57:39apparently it's like of all the medical

57:40shows it's considered like the most

57:42realistic and like

57:44>> oh like yeah just like showing up to

57:45work that all I have to do is like you

57:47know suture together like in open hearts

57:49like not for me. I'm out.

57:51>> Feels fields life so good is like

57:52nightmare scenario is being a doctor

57:54like

57:55>> slumed as a doctor.

57:56>> You want to be

57:57>> that's his nightmare scenario.

57:58>> Do you want to be playing with like

57:59intestines?

58:01I'm saving lives of children out here. I

58:03can't answer.

58:04>> But I mean, if you see the list of shows

58:06I have, it's like,

58:06>> well, my next two are a little more

58:08like, you know, just kind of goofy. But

58:09that first one, I just I don't do blood

58:11well.

58:11>> My first one, Neither do I. For Yeah.

58:13>> My first one is um

58:15>> Lost.

58:16>> Damn it.

58:17>> Oh, good one.

58:18>> That was my number one pick.

58:19>> WAS IT?

58:20>> YES.

58:20>> FIELD, I'm so sorry. Or let's talk about

58:22it.

58:22>> Yeah.

58:23>> Do you know how confusing that show is?

58:25>> I have no idea what happened at the end.

58:26>> It ended 25 years ago and none of us

58:28know. You're on an island. And by the

58:30way, there's your plane crashed. I got

58:32to be a part of a plane crash probably.

58:34That's not great. You're on an island.

58:36There's a polar bear, a smoke monster.

58:38It's not Penny's boat. There's others.

58:40And there's a hatch with a bunch of

58:42numbers that we like there's it never

58:44makes sense. And I would Oh, field take

58:47over. My brain just short circuited.

58:49>> So, I I don't know like if for shows

58:51that last for like, you know, season

58:52upon season upon season, I don't know

58:54how much foresight there is. is like

58:56when Friends is going through their

58:57unbelievably dominant run, like

58:59>> when you're in the middle of season 4,

59:01have you already mapped out five and

59:02six? Because the energy I got from Lost

59:04was that like it's the middle of season

59:062. We don't know what's going to happen

59:08at the end of season two. They kind of

59:09like made the story up as it moved

59:11along. And that to me as a consumer was

59:14very confusing. My mind was all

59:16discombobulated. This is the

59:18unquestioned number one for me. Lost

59:19just threw me for a whirl many times

59:21over. I love that.

59:22>> Great show though. Yellow Jack is very

59:23similar. might be worse in a similar

59:25circumstances. I don't know if you've

59:26seen that, but that's

59:27>> Yellow Jacket.

59:28>> Yellow Jackets. Yeah, that's a wild

59:30show. Similar similar concept, but uh

59:32yeah. Uh shout out to our buddy Daniel

59:34Day Kim by the way. One of the stars.

59:37>> Uh two for me is uh this is a silly one.

59:40Truman show.

59:42>> Oh man.

59:43>> Like your entire life

59:45>> you're being watched.

59:46>> Being watched. Yeah.

59:46>> At all times. Everything. Think about

59:48that. Like you can't escape anything.

59:51every all the intimate parts of your

59:52life or everything. That'd be terrible.

59:54>> I wonder if like that might be how life

59:55is now.

59:56>> What?

59:57>> Yeah.

59:57>> Sometimes it feels like we're being

59:58washed.

59:59>> Yeah. I mean, you're right. Yeah.

1:00:01>> You should read Dungeon Crawler Carl.

1:00:03>> Dungeon Crawler Carl.

1:00:04>> Yeah. Okay.

1:00:05>> It's a great book. It kind of like dives

1:00:06into a little bit of that. It's a very

1:00:08fun, fantastical book. It's a good

1:00:09series. Good.

1:00:10>> All right. You've already gotten my

1:00:11number one. So, Daniel, you can go to

1:00:13your

1:00:14>> My number two

1:00:16>> is Jurassic Park.

1:00:17>> Number two.

1:00:17>> Yeah. Good one.

1:00:18>> Tough one. Yeah. Because I love

1:00:19dinosaurs, but like that's it's the

1:00:21opposite way of the way that you want to

1:00:22encounter the dinosaurs. It's just

1:00:24running and screaming and terror and all

1:00:26of that stuff. And you don't you we're

1:00:27not prepared for it. Like it would be

1:00:29terrible. So I could watch Jurassic

1:00:31Park, the original one, a hundred times.

1:00:33Great movie.

1:00:35>> I wouldn't want to be in the movie. No,

1:00:36it's a great movie to watch. Would never

1:00:37want to be in it. So that's my number

1:00:39two.

1:00:39>> All right. So my number one is Lost. I'm

1:00:41not moving off that stance. My number

1:00:42two though is Breaking Bad because it's

1:00:44just like a series of events that like

1:00:47you know are going to eventually end in

1:00:49a crash and burn scenario. Your life is

1:00:51falling apart around you. Your wife is

1:00:53the absolute worst, right? I mean,

1:00:55>> Fields goes from being a doctor in one

1:00:57to making meth in the other.

1:00:59>> There's a big gap between us one and

1:01:00two.

1:01:01>> Not like Walter White should be like,

1:01:02you know, he's not exactly like the

1:01:04poster child for like integrity and all

1:01:05that. There were some things he did

1:01:06along the way that were wrong, but it

1:01:08was just like every like plan or every

1:01:10part of the plan he devised, it was

1:01:12like, "All right, this is going to buy

1:01:14us a little bit more time until we step

1:01:16into another pile of crap a little bit

1:01:18later on." So, Breaking Bad will be a

1:01:20very difficult place to be.

1:01:22>> Like it. Uh mine is,

1:01:24>> oh man, this one's If you're RA, this

1:01:26one's going to bring you back in a bad

1:01:27way. Final Destination.

1:01:29>> Oh yes,

1:01:30>> that's tough. Just knowing

1:01:32>> Yes.

1:01:32>> what's coming down the line. all any

1:01:34Armageddon type show.

1:01:36>> Yeah, you could say that. But this one

1:01:37like you it's just all those disasters.

1:01:39I mean, have you driven on a road and

1:01:41seen a truck a tractor trailer with long

1:01:43logs on it and not thought about that

1:01:45movie? Like that's just

1:01:46>> you wait for one of the chains to

1:01:47release and then it just comes flying.

1:01:49Absolutely.

1:01:50>> Speed up and get past this truck as fast

1:01:51as possible. Like

1:01:52>> anytime you get into an elevator, you're

1:01:54like get in before the door closes or

1:01:56like you walk on an escalator to go up

1:01:57at a mall. Malls used to be a thing that

1:01:59kids would go to back in our when we

1:02:01were children. And there's a couple left

1:02:03out there. Yeah.

1:02:03>> So, um, do you have another one? Do you

1:02:06have you want to give your number?

1:02:07>> I want Lost to be my number one because

1:02:08that's how passionate

1:02:09>> that's how passionate you are about it.

1:02:11>> Um, my number one

1:02:14movie

1:02:16>> worst fictional movie or TV show plot to

1:02:18be a part of would be Draft Day.

1:02:21>> That means I have to work for THE

1:02:22CLEVELAND BROWNS.

1:02:23>> WOW.

1:02:24>> THAT'S SHOT THROUGH THE HEART.

1:02:26>> SORRY.

1:02:27>> They might win on Thursday night.

1:02:29>> I don't know.

1:02:30>> They might win on Thursday night. Hey,

1:02:31what are you going to do then?

1:02:32>> I don't know.

1:02:33>> They're two in one.

1:02:34>> That's a good question.

1:02:35>> Uh, yeah. Yeah, I have I have a couple

1:02:36honorable mentions I want to mention.

1:02:38Let's Let's do these first in case

1:02:39someone takes them.

1:02:40>> Days of Our Lives would suck just stuck

1:02:41in a crappy drama. I thought about

1:02:43Golden Girls. I thought about the having

1:02:45that be on the list for what it's worth.

1:02:47>> The Walking Dead. I thought about that

1:02:49as well. The Walking Dead will be uh

1:02:52that's amazing. Good one.

1:02:53>> That's fun though. In a way,

1:02:55>> it wouldn't be you. We think it's fun

1:02:56because it's a movie.

1:02:57>> Oh, no.

1:02:58>> Jeff Jeff C. Yeah. Yeah, if you haven't

1:03:01seen The Human Centipede, you don't want

1:03:02to.

1:03:02>> I haven't seen that. No,

1:03:03>> no, you don't need to. Don't watch it.

1:03:04You don't need to. Starship Troopers.

1:03:06Thought about that one as well. That one

1:03:07was real gross.

1:03:08>> That one was real gross.

1:03:10>> That was one of my honorable mentions.

1:03:11Yeah.

1:03:11>> Yeah, that was that was another good

1:03:13one.

1:03:13>> Yeah. The thing with Saw though is like

1:03:15you have to do something bad to be even

1:03:16put in there. So, it's like a weird one.

1:03:18Like you have to basically be a criminal

1:03:20or something.

1:03:21>> Uh other ones for me, Groundhog Day.

1:03:23>> I thought about that.

1:03:24>> Uh Quiet Place seems so miserable. Can't

1:03:28make a sound. Uh, and The Purge.

1:03:32>> That's another good one. You haven't

1:03:33watched The Purge?

1:03:34>> No. What's the Purge?

1:03:35>> Been a couple of those. Yeah.

1:03:37>> All Crime is legal for one day. One day.

1:03:39All crime is legal 24 hours period. It's

1:03:41a movie. It's the

1:03:42>> There's a couple three or four movies.

1:03:44Yeah.

1:03:44>> I got to write this one down.

1:03:46>> Um, don't watch it with the kids,

1:03:47though.

1:03:47>> Feels like that's interesting to me. We

1:03:49should do that. I'm going to write my

1:03:50congressman.

1:03:52>> The Purge.

1:03:54>> Let's go to the poll here. We set out a

1:03:56poll at the very beginning of the show,

1:03:57guys. Who is the toughest cover? Mike

1:04:00Clay,

1:04:00>> thank you. Come on. That's right. You

1:04:03guys are the worst. Here I feel you have

1:04:0627% as the lowest.

1:04:07>> I wanted I wanted that in there just

1:04:10because I knew that was going to happen.

1:04:11That's hilarious.

1:04:12>> Recount.

1:04:13>> You know what though? But our

1:04:13demographic out there, everybody gets

1:04:15it, you know. Tough being a little

1:04:17tired, you know.

1:04:17>> Just tired.

1:04:18>> Thanks for hanging out with us today,

1:04:20guys. We're going to be back tomorrow.

1:04:21We're going to preview week four. dive

1:04:23into what will be Thursday night

1:04:24football and hang out with these Yahoos

1:04:26a little bit longer for Mike and Field.

1:04:27>> I'm not showing up.

1:04:28>> I am Daniel. We love you guys.

1:04:30>> Don't forget to love each other and be

1:04:31kind to yourself. You deserve it.

1:04:33>> We'll see you guys tomorrow. That's a

1:04:34fine use that

1:04:41>> fantasy

1:04:44fantasy focus.
