0:12>> What's good friends? Welcome into
0:14fantasy focus football alongside Michael
0:16Lester Clay Jr. and Field Ministry
0:18Yates. My name is Daniel David Dopp.
0:20Very excited to be here with you guys.
0:22How you doing, Field?
0:23>> You know, I'm feeling a little bit more
0:24aerodynamic myself these days, Daniel.
0:26Yeah, you know, I shaved this morning. I
0:29can see that.
0:30>> Yeah, sort of. Right. Eyes shave. You
0:31know, I'm just
0:32>> like an electric shaver.
0:33>> I've heard that, you know, the less hair
0:34you have on your body, the more
0:35aerodynamic you are.
0:36>> Is that what you hear? Huh?
0:38>> That's what you hear. We'll talk about
0:40that a little bit later on in the show.
0:42We have a lot of stuff to get to in
0:43today's show. Hello, Michael.
0:45>> Oh, hi.
0:46>> We have a lot of stuff to get to in I'm
0:48trying to delete the box from football.
0:50>> Oh, I know. I'm sorry.
0:51>> Can you just delete it and then it goes
0:53away and you don't have to think about
0:54it.
0:54>> It was a wicked football game,
0:56unfortunately. Make it quick cuz I don't
0:58want to talk about it.
0:58>> Yeah, we're going to obviously dive into
0:59the Monday Night Football recap. We also
1:01have our starts of the week. We got to
1:02talk about our long shots to check in
1:04on. We got knockout leagues. We're going
1:05to talk about waiverwire targets in week
1:08four and a very fun segment at the end
1:09of the show called fish or cut bait.
1:11Guys, we're deciding are we going to
1:12keep rolling with? Are we going to cut
1:14them loose to our bench?
1:15>> You you start fishing and suddenly we're
1:17doing fishing segments.
1:18>> I didn't even bring it up. This is all
1:20idea. But I was motivated. I knew that
1:21if I pitched the segment,
1:23>> yes,
1:23>> you would say absolutely I'm doing it.
1:25>> You knew that I would captain it. I'd be
1:26the captain of your idea.
1:27>> I'm the captain now.
1:28>> Okay. All right. Hey, speaking of being
1:30a new captain, let's talk about some
1:32news that we got yesterday, guys. Jameus
1:34Winston still going to be the starting
1:35quarterback of the New York Football
1:37Giants
1:38>> for now. But JJ McCarthy moving over
1:41cost a fifth round draft pick from the
1:43Vikings. Curious how you guys feel if
1:45any change at all with this move and
1:47what it could mean for the Giants pass
1:49catchers moving forward.
1:50>> So, this is a down the line thing as you
1:51just said is going to start.
1:54>> This is deep cut stuff. Y
1:56>> but when you need deep cut stuff who do
1:58you turn to
1:59>> Kyle Zoppy
2:00>> Kyle Zoppy
2:01>> yes
2:01>> he did p he did pass along to me did
2:04Kyle
2:04>> okay
2:05>> that
2:05>> shout out there to Kyle
2:06>> last season when targeting tight ends
2:09>> okay
2:10>> JJ McCarthy had the sixth best passer
2:13rating in the entire NFL
2:15>> TJ Hockinson like wasn't a great factor
2:18last year
2:19>> when looking at the quarterback rating
2:22for players when throwing to running
2:23backs and wide receivers
2:25>> Yep. J.J. McCarthy ranked 33rd, which I
2:28believe was worst. So, if you're looking
2:30for an Isaiah likely case, I just made
2:33it for you.
2:33>> There you go.
2:34>> So, if you're watching, what was on the
2:36screen is that was a really good tweet.
2:38It was uh who's the who's the
2:39quarterback of the
2:41>> Giants and a picture of Isaiah likely
2:43likely nine with his jersey. Likely
2:45nine.
2:45>> I wonder what uniform JJ wears. This
2:47will be the most probably like impactful
2:50uniform number change in quite some
2:52time. Yeah,
2:53>> it's like LeBron when he decided to go
2:54from 23 to six.
2:56>> Yeah, very Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's a huge
2:58one for sure.
2:59>> I'm not sure about that. What? Uh I
3:01mean, if you ask if you ask Vikings fans
3:03before yesterday, it's not a stretch at
3:04all. But now they're just like, "Okay,
3:06good. We don't have to defend this guy
3:07anymore." Uh look, his numbers so far, I
3:09you know, I was looking yesterday, just
3:1110 games with the Vikings, 11
3:12touchdowns, 12 picks. The efficiency
3:14numbers for such a young quarterback
3:16are, you know, poor for an NFL starter,
3:18but like not awful. I mean, not, you
3:21know, uh, 6.7 yards per attempt, 58%
3:23completion percentage. He also ran for
3:26181 yards and four touchdowns in those
3:28games.
3:29Maybe there's hope here. Uh, obviously
3:31it didn't look great last year. Those
3:33numbers are probably a little better
3:34than he looked on uh out there on the
3:36field. So, it's a dart throw by, no pun
3:39intended, by the uh the Giants here. I'm
3:42surprised by it. I thought they'd go
3:44more of a veteran route just because
3:46what happens if he pans out? I mean, I
3:47guess it's good because you could trade
3:49him. Yeah, exactly. You could always
3:50trade him if you if Jackson Dar comes.
3:52Jack Jackson Dar will come back next
3:53year. So, um interesting one for sure,
3:55but I think we're probably just a few
3:57weeks away from from McCarthy being
3:58under
3:59>> guys. You're burying the lead. He was 3
4:01and 0 in his career against the NFC
4:03East.
4:03>> Oh, is that right?
4:04>> Undefeated against the new division he's
4:07going to be playing.
4:08>> The Vikings defense was undefeated
4:09against the
4:10>> Okay. Okay. Okay. It is amazing. Three
4:13and0 right now.
4:14>> Quick thing to say really fast just
4:15because this is going to be the waiver
4:16show. Is there any reason or any league
4:18in which you guys Okay, I just wanted to
4:19put it out there.
4:20>> Nope. Uh, super flex deep super flex
4:24if like you're we're in a leagues where
4:26every quarterback is
4:27>> that may start is on is rostered. So if
4:29that's the only format I own I I have
4:32Tyson Tyson Begent
4:33>> for perspective. Yes. Who may not even
4:35start at all this year.
4:36>> JJ McCarthy or Drake May rest of season.
4:39>> Stop it.
4:40>> Stop it. That's mean.
4:41>> Let's talk about Justin Jefferson.
4:43>> Yeah. Had an ankle injury. It was told.
4:45I mean, the coach said that he could
4:46have potentially come back if it was a
4:48game that was important enough for him
4:49to come back into. Uh, have we had any
4:51updates? I haven't seen anything that
4:52says there we go from Ian Rap. Uh, Ian
4:55Raport says, "Has an ankle sprain with
4:57the imaging was good? Avoided anything
4:58longterm? There is a chance to play on
5:00Sunday." The only thing that I would say
5:02about this, there's been multiple
5:03reports including Ian's, is that we've
5:05had a few instances this year where
5:07players early in the week have been
5:10reported as having avoided a major
5:12injury and having a chance to play that
5:14week
5:15>> and then
5:15>> and then miss, you know, at least a
5:17week, you know, so we'll obviously we'll
5:19see on Justin Jefferson. If he's in,
5:22you're going to play him. If he's out,
5:23and this is a great matchup against
5:25Miami, playing in Minnesota this
5:27weekend, then Jordan Addison becomes
5:30very interesting. He scored 20 points
5:31last week.
5:32>> All right. Yeah.
5:33>> Anything else? You guys ready to dive
5:34into? I'm very sorry, Michael.
5:36>> Mike,
5:37>> I'm not ready for this.
5:38>> Go to the bathroom
5:39>> Monday. I'm going to go take a break.
5:40>> Yeah, this is bad.
5:41>> This was a tough one.
5:42>> Embarrassing watch as fans.
5:44>> And Bears,
5:45>> did any of us have any faith in Case
5:47Keenum?
5:48>> Uh, Field did.
5:49>> I mean, yeah. Field liked them more than
5:50beat it and pick the Bears. So, props to
5:52you, sir. Uh
5:53>> I um you know, this is one of them games
5:56watching Eagles slow start. You're like,
5:57"Okay, Keen was getting away with some
5:59stuff, just picking them apart. They'll
6:00adjust." And it started to trend that
6:02way. And the Eagles just kept making
6:04mistake after mistake. I mean, that was
6:06the hardest Eagles game to watch in
6:08years. I mean, that was it's hard a hard
6:10game to watch. If that was the worst
6:12team in the NFL, you'd be like, "Yeah,
6:13this checks out." Just constantly making
6:15errors like that. I mean, they could not
6:17help themselves. embarrassing watch and
6:19uh kind of hopefully a wakeup call for
6:21them because you know they barely got
6:23past the Titans, barely got past the
6:25Commanders and now getting smoked by a
6:28third string quarterback is a really bad
6:30look. Succinctly, um do you guys feel
6:33like we can buy a little more time
6:36before we draw final conclusions on the
6:38Bears players because Caleb Williams has
6:40basically played one game in real like
6:43there was terrible weather last week. He
6:45gets hurt during the game. I feel like
6:47there's still a chance that things turn
6:48around for this Bears offense and we
6:50have increased confidence in some of the
6:53heel guys. Do you agree with that or no?
6:55>> I both agree with that and also don't
6:58know how to quantify if Khalif Raymond
7:01is just going to keep hanging around in
7:03a way that annoys us the entire season.
7:06>> You know, we are I'm on a Lions group
7:08thread with you, of course, Daniel. Um,
7:10and all the Lions fans on that thread
7:11are like, dude, Khif's like a good
7:12player. Just
7:13>> Aman Ross St. Brown exists, so he wasn't
7:15ever going to have a huge role with
7:17Detroit. He is a good player,
7:18>> but he's like 32 and he's never had a
7:20production like this ever. Like this is
7:22kind of wild.
7:22>> It is wild. It's It's like I think he's
7:24a good player. I think what's more
7:26surprising is just how little the pass
7:28catchers in aggregate are doing.
7:30>> Except for Luther Burton.
7:31>> Yeah, Luther Burton did have a nice
7:32night last night. He had his eight yard
7:35touchdown catch. He like pushed the p
7:37the Bears pushed the pile into the end
7:38zone. That was cool.
7:40>> We might be feeling a little bit
7:41different about Coloulston Lovelin or
7:42Roma Dunes. if Loveland had slightly
7:45longer arms.
7:46>> Oh my gosh.
7:47>> Or Roma Dudes didn't drop a pass wide
7:49open in the end zone. So my personal
7:51stance here is that I think there's a
7:53chance when Caleb Williams is back after
7:56maybe a week or two of him getting
7:58reintegrated into this offense that
7:59we're talking about Colston Lovelin
8:01relatively close to where we were
8:03talking about him coming into the
8:04season. Case Keenum has more passing
8:06touchdowns than Drake Man.
8:07>> That's a tough stat.
8:10And I think Luther Burden and Roman
8:12Dunay I think is going to be a little
8:13bit of a trade-off situation.
8:15The the Eagles are are more interesting
8:17to me right now. Like the the
8:20>> wait until we get to that point.
8:21>> Are you starting Roma Dunes?
8:23>> I am not. No,
8:24>> no, he's wait. I mean, he's got he was
8:26wide receiver 49 for me coming into
8:27this.
8:28>> Yeah. Once again, Raymond seven targets
8:29in this game. Adun had six. I mean, he
8:31just You can make a case to start
8:33Raymond over Adun right now. You can
8:34start Odun right now. He has the talent
8:36that he belongs on benches now. kind of
8:38have to hope that remember he was
8:40injured leading up to the season almost
8:41in play week one you have to hope that
8:42he's getting back to 100% at some point
8:44he'll have that big breakout game again
8:45to your point he had an endzone target
8:47should had a touchdown it may come he
8:48had six targets in this game but he's
8:50not a starter right now
8:51>> yeah's a bench and then Leland Loeland
8:53and Burton both were like arrows
8:55trending up after
8:56>> I would still say Lovelin on benches I
8:58mean I don't want to say I mean if if
9:00you're in a tough spot he's a borderline
9:02starter but he's like arguably like
9:03Daltton Daltton Schultz uh Hunter Henry
9:06like
9:07>> Tucker Craft like he's in that tier
9:08right now. I mean, he had four targets
9:10out of 34 pass attempts. That's bad.
9:12Like that's that's not going to cut it.
9:13And that's been a trend three games in
9:15now.
9:15>> Yes, I agree. He's he's a trickier one.
9:17I think I if I have him like the options
9:19in leagues
9:21limited whereas Dun the pivots are so
9:23much more clear. The Dunes I wonder if
9:25at some point we'll have a conversation.
9:27It's not quite as dramatic given the
9:29circumstances in which they entered the
9:31league and were drafted,
9:32>> but it feels a little bit like Marvin
9:33Harrison Jr. right now.
9:35>> Little bit. You know, they were talking
9:37bad comp and I'm upset about it.
9:38>> Spots apart. I I hear I understand why
9:40you're upset about it.
9:41>> He at least had a string last year of
9:42really good games. Gives you some hope,
9:44but yeah, it's just
9:46>> had some maybe not a string, but Mars
9:47had some pockets, but not
9:48>> not quite not like not like Roma did to
9:51open last season. That first month he
9:52was a what, a top five fantasy receiver
9:54and then it really sunk. I I don't
9:55really know exactly what's gone wrong. I
9:57know that Kale and look, Caleb Blame's
9:58passing efficiency wasn't great last
10:00year. Like he can do a lot and he's a
10:01playmaker and added a lot of value with
10:02his legs, but he completed what like 59%
10:04of his passes. That's not a good number
10:06like that if that connection between
10:08them two once Caleb's back is going to
10:09have to improve.
10:10>> So to put a pin in the Bears quickly.
10:11>> Yes.
10:12>> Colston Lovelin fringe tight end one. I
10:14mean like possible starter intensity
10:16with you.
10:16>> Luther Burton the Bears wide receiver I
10:18have the most confidence in lineup
10:20>> not too far behind that. Khalif Raymond
10:23on benches for right now. Roman
10:24>> Roman Dun. Yep.
10:25>> For for the Eagles. This this one's
10:27frustrating. I mean Mike I'm sure is
10:28more frustrated but like the eye test is
10:31not great. Jaylen Herz uh late in week
10:35one threw two touchdown passes last week
10:37was just okay. Where does Jaylen Herz
10:40generally tear right now amongst QBs?
10:43>> He's back he's fallen to fringe QB1.
10:45He's not running that much either. It's
10:46>> hardly running. Yeah, I mean it was kind
10:48of kind of build out last night by that
10:50last second at the end of the first half
10:52tush push.
10:52>> Yeah, absolutely was. Yeah, it wasn't
10:54wasn't good. Uh they
10:56>> they were time especially early in the
10:57game it felt like they were going to get
10:58going. Like it just seemed like they
11:00were starting to move the ball. there
11:01was something going on offensively.
11:02Dvonte Smith obviously made some plays.
11:04That guy is ridiculous. But they just
11:06couldn't get consistently get drives
11:07going and that was the same thing that
11:08happened last year. So you have to hope
11:10that it's just taking some time in this
11:12Shawn Mandian offense, but it's it's not
11:15h like they can't drive down the field
11:16and score just like last year. It's a
11:18big problem.
11:18>> That sequence when he came off the field
11:20to get checked out for a concussion and
11:22then Andy Dalton throws an interception
11:24at the goal line.
11:26>> That felt like the turning point. There
11:28was a lot of time still left in the
11:29game, but to me that felt like the
11:30turning point. Like it was brutal.
11:32>> A friend of mine made a point who's a
11:34big Eagles fan as well. Like the Eagles
11:36are carrying four quarterbacks and like
11:37your backup comes in and does that. I
11:39mean what's the point of having all them
11:40quarterbacks if that you're going to
11:41step in for one play and throw it right
11:43to the defender? Unacceptable.
11:44>> Yeah. Not great there for the Eagles.
11:46And I talked about this what a week or
11:48two ago like we've degraduated from
11:51elite running back for Saquon Barkley.
11:52>> Yeah.
11:53>> We just have like
11:54>> And it's not his fault he ran. He was
11:55great in that game. I mean, the running
11:57lanes were massive. Props to the O line.
11:59The They should have just handed it off
12:01every play, honestly, because the D was
12:02Dude was unstoppable. Um
12:04>> over five yards a carry.
12:06>> Yeah.
12:06>> But as I the two question marks when we
12:09talked about this a couple weeks ago
12:10were
12:11>> he's not going to get the goal line
12:12work, at least not to himself because
12:14the tush push is still allowed.
12:16>> The two goal line works they had was
12:17Jaylen Herz getting a touchdown and Andy
12:18Daltton throwing an interception. Right.
12:20Those were the two goal line
12:21opportunities.
12:21>> And then Saquon doesn't catch passes
12:23anymore.
12:23>> One for you two receiving yards.
12:25>> Yeah. Will Shipley is playing a role in
12:26passing situations. Uh yeah. Is that the
12:29second time this year he's lost yards in
12:30the game? Doesn't he have negative
12:31receiving yards in week one?
12:32>> Him and Kai Lemon. There's too many
12:34negative receiving yardage.
12:36>> Oh man. Yeah. Are we getting the I hear
12:38you where this passing offense is going
12:39to start to kind of mirror the Ravens
12:42with the way we look at it where as much
12:43as we liked Octavian Wix, he's kind of
12:45like the Rashad Baitman of this offense.
12:46>> Yeah. I mean that's what we thought
12:47coming in. That's the one thing we got
12:49right about this. I mean we thought
12:50they'd score more.
12:51>> Devonte Smith and then that's basically
12:53it. Yeah, I know Wix a couple of pockets
12:54earlier, but I think that was more fluky
12:56than it is sustainable.
12:57>> Yeah, two for 32 in this game.
12:58>> I might be like trying to Is Wish cast a
13:01word?
13:01>> Wish maybe.
13:02>> Sure. Whatever. I'm trying to like I
13:04don't know if this is like casting. I
13:05think so.
13:06>> Who has Dallas Goddard and kind of needs
13:07him in a high stakes league.
13:09>> Kind of feels like they miss him on
13:10offense.
13:11>> I could see.
13:11>> Yeah. I mean, Zacks made his return last
13:13night. Didn't play a lot. It was his
13:15first game back, first game of the
13:16season. But yeah, definitely he's
13:17>> middle of the field out felt like. Yeah.
13:19maybe less likely to move on from him
13:21next off seasonally. Eli Sters doesn't
13:23work out.
13:24>> Guys, I just really want to last thing
13:26very so fast. I want to give a quick
13:27shout out to Case Keenum. This dude came
13:29off of a bench
13:30>> and he was a top five quarterback. The
13:32top five quarterbacks for this week.
13:34>> No way.
13:34>> Unbelievably,
13:36>> I don't want to say gross, but just not
13:38what you would have expected coming into
13:40the week. Yeah, we have a full screen
13:41here. Brock Pury number one, Sam Darnold
13:43number two, Gino Smith number three,
13:45Jacobe Brassette number four, Case
13:46Keenum number five. Those are your top
13:48five fantasy quarterbacks for
13:50>> Here's the question though. You're in a
13:51normal 10 or 12 team league. You uh
13:52putting a claim in for any of them.
13:54Assume parties on a roster, not him, but
13:56like Darnold Smith, Brum claiming any of
13:58those guys.
13:58>> We'll talk about Brousette a little bit
14:00later, but the rest of them are a no.
14:01>> I think the biggest thing for
14:02quarterbacks this year that I've noticed
14:04early,
14:05>> man alive to match ups matter this
14:07because there are some absolutely
14:09feastful I made that word up again.
14:11Second word I made up in two minutes.
14:13There are some opportunities to feast
14:14around this.
14:14>> And this is we we talked about this
14:16after when we did our week one rankings.
14:18We were like, why is a guy that's ranked
14:20like QB2 or three so low? Because that
14:22we said it's Josh Allen and then there's
14:24this gigantic tier of quarterback. So
14:27matchup is going to swing these guys
14:28from 21 to seven some weeks. I mean,
14:32wait till you see this. Wait till you
14:33see the rankings tomorrow because I have
14:34two guys in the top five or six who are
14:37outside the top 12 most weeks. So
14:39matchups are huge this year. Speaking of
14:41matchup, guys, I tried to play matchups
14:43quite a bit when I did starts of the
14:44week here the other week. Whoops.
14:48>> Quick recap here, Field. We're going to
14:49start with you for this one.
14:51>> Here we are in week three. You started
14:54Tyler Shuck. He played very well again.
14:56>> Yep.
14:56>> Bucky Irving. Garrett Wilson absolutely
14:59smashed. And Travis Kelce only two
15:00catches, but he just keeps doing the
15:02thing.
15:02>> Found the end zone.
15:03>> 72.2 total fantasy.
15:04>> I'll take that. Bucky obviously got
15:06banged up.
15:06>> Mike, scoring correction. I need a
15:09scoring correction.
15:10>> Uh
15:10>> oh. How come?
15:11>> Cuz I lost by like one point.
15:13>> Oh, that's why. Okay. Not because there
15:15was actually a Okay. Brock Py 31.28.
15:19Mike got lucky cuz he played a DFS
15:20lineup. Had the stack with George KD.
15:23Those two late touchdowns. 26.2 fantasy
15:26points for KD. Judkins and Tedell
15:28McMillan. Both dutted, but 71.08.
15:32My starts of the week for this week.
15:35There's no
15:36>> Mahomes against Miami.
15:37>> Didn't Chuba Hubard also only fine.
15:41Gristo 19.7.
15:43>> Guy's so freaking good, man.
15:44>> Guys, Dalton Concincaid, I can't get the
15:47tight end position right.
15:48>> I can.
15:51>> Which means for the second week in a
15:53row, I've got to spin the wheel.
15:55>> Yeah, let's go.
15:56>> By the way, we were texting uh group
15:58group texting about this and I was like,
16:00I'm in trouble. And that was before
16:01either of the two touchdowns from Perie
16:03to KD. It just started it started
16:05heating up and Pertie actually had a
16:07>> we were laughing because Pertie had a
16:09long rushing touchdown and but there was
16:10a hold at the last second by KD to stop
16:12it. The next play he catches the
16:13touchdown. It was like a very selfish
16:16hold. He ends up getting the points out
16:17of it. So even better for me.
16:19>> I was so frustrated when that happened.
16:21I just wanted second half come back.
16:23>> Well, before we do this one because I'm
16:25going to spin it next. We're going to
16:26pay off what I had was my loss a couple
16:29of weeks ago and we have a things for
16:30you to be able to watch.
16:32>> Oh boy. All
16:33right, Daniel Dopp, today is the day you
16:36have to pay off the wax your leg
16:38punishment. How are we feeling? What are
16:39your expectations for this punishment?
16:43>> Uh, expectations are low. I am feeling
16:47nerves. I am not excited about the
16:50follicle coming out of the skin.
16:53And I know that's going to happen a lot.
16:55>> I wasn't intending on you being the one
16:59who had to follow through with this.
17:06You are officially 100% not allowed in
17:10our YouTube chat anymore. I love you so
17:12much. You don't get to vote on
17:14punishments. I'm going to go get the
17:17hair ripped out of my legs. I love you.
17:18I hope you're proud of what you've done.
17:20>> All right.
17:20>> Oh, Christina.
17:22>> Okay.
17:24>> Here we go.
17:24>> I don't want to do this anymore, guys.
17:27>> All right.
17:27>> My gosh.
17:29>> Don't one, two, three me. Don't. It's
17:31fine.
17:32>> Three.
17:33>> Oh, you Ouch.
17:37>> Oh my gosh. YOU DIDN'T EVEN PULL ANY OF
17:38IT OUT. YOU LEFT IT ALL IN THERE. WHY
17:41DIDN'T IT COME OUT, CHRISTINA?
17:44>> NO. OKAY.
17:45>> TWO.
17:46>> OH, THAT ONE HURT more than the first
17:49one. I don't want this anymore.
17:53Why did I choose fantasy football for a
17:55living? I don't want TO DO THIS. OH,
17:57KEVIN.
17:59I'M GOING TO BE LIKE a freaking
18:02I don't LIKE
18:05holy counting.
18:06>> You know what I don't love? I don't love
18:07the way that you're chuckling after
18:09every time you do it right now. Is this
18:10the way they do it in like real places?
18:12Do they put them on with LIKE STUFF LIKE
18:13THIS? OH NO. YOU MADE EYE CONTACT WITH
18:16ME AND DID THAT WHILE I WAS TALKING TO
18:17YOU.
18:19OH, GREEN PACKERS.
18:24CHRISTINA.
18:26OH, LADY THOMPSON.
18:29OH,
18:31I don't like this. Devon Chan,
18:47>> guys,
18:48>> we are not worthy.
18:49>> Guys, you want to know what an Olympian
18:51feels like? Go ahead and touch my leg
18:52right now.
18:53>> That's what it feels like,
18:54>> dude. Do you feel how soft it is?
18:56>> It feels like like like a marble statue.
18:59>> Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
19:00>> I don't want to
19:01>> I'm basically right now like a third of
19:03Michael Phelps.
19:04>> Wow. That's
19:04>> crazy uncomfortable and it was probably
19:06worse than the actual punishment. I was
19:08>> It was terrible
19:08>> for me. My experience watching that was
19:10probably
19:11>> I just want to say one more time. I'm
19:12adopt. I hope you're proud of yourself
19:13and please no more. All right.
19:16>> All right. Spin the wheel.
19:17>> Now that I have that I get to uh spin
19:19the wheel on the wheel. Uh they told me
19:21because they they're replacing the
19:22punishments. So they just covered up.
19:23So,
19:24>> wait. What is under that? Do you have to
19:25take it off of there first?
19:26>> Yeah.
19:27>> The other option that we're doing is wax
19:29other leg. You bee holes. No way.
19:32>> You better not.
19:33>> No way.
19:34>> That is not an option. Wax other leg
19:36does not count. All right, here we go.
19:38I'm going to spin the wheel. If that
19:39happens, I'm going to lose my mind. You
19:41guys are doing the show by yourself.
19:42>> Oh, that'd be amazing.
19:43>> Here we go. Three, two, one. All right.
19:48Wheel is slowing down, guys. Here we go.
19:56It is
19:59mile.
20:06>> I'm
20:06>> Oh man,
20:07>> I'm not sure I'm going to survive this
20:08season, guys.
20:09>> Yeah. Um, better start with better
20:11lineup.
20:12>> So,
20:12>> I've got the two worst punishments and
20:14it's week four.
20:15>> We'll talk about this. Let Let me Let me
20:18um We're going to figure it out for a
20:19moment. This is like an editor's note
20:21here. We did have a recent conversation
20:25about whether we need to remove the beer
20:27mile. We're going to see whether we get
20:28approval on this.
20:29>> You might just have to run a mile.
20:31>> You think I can't run a mile? Nope.
20:33>> I don't know about that.
20:34>> Full speed. I don't know. We'll figure
20:35it out.
20:35>> We'll see something.
20:37>> That is
20:38>> I forgot that was still on there.
20:40>> A beer mile. A milk mile.
20:41>> We actually We are going to legitimately
20:43remove the la the waxed leg, right?
20:45Yeah.
20:46>> You guys might have to wax you up.
20:47>> That was there to that was a prank.
20:50>> Right. All right. Anyway, uh set better
20:53lineups.
20:54This is terrible.
20:56>> All right. Long shot check-in really
20:57quickly, guys.
20:58>> I'm not excited about starts of the week
21:00anymore.
21:00>> Yeah,
21:00>> long shot checkins. None of us got it.
21:02AJ Dylan, Laquan Treadwell, Sky Moore,
21:04Colobby Young,
21:06>> nobody even close.
21:07>> Yeah, some some uh some of those guys
21:09got decent run. Kobe Young ended up
21:11further down the depth chart than we
21:12thought without Andre Oivas. Was it
21:15Dante Meyers got the run there as the
21:17three? Um
21:18>> but yeah, Moore was busy. should be
21:20again until Jaden Reed's back in that
21:22offense. Laquan Treadwell was very busy
21:24in the Colts offense, but Darius Sling
21:25could take on a larger role and AJ
21:27Dillan's at two in Carolina
21:29>> right now. So, we we're on the right
21:30track there, but this graphic is kind of
21:33ice cold because there's only one thing
21:35that matters, right? It's like did you
21:36score or not?
21:37>> Yeah,
21:38>> it would have been kind of nice if it
21:39was like, yeah, AJ Dylan like you know
21:41played 42% of the snaps. Someone does
21:44your phone make a frog noise when you
21:45>> That was R2-D2. R2D. That was mama adopt
21:48texting me in the middle of the show.
21:49>> Oh, nice. Anyways, yeah, none of us got
21:50it right that week. That sucks.
21:52>> Yeah.
21:52>> What can you do? By the way, it's like
21:54zeros and ones. Like that's Mike's
21:55literal language. It's either it works
21:57or it doesn't. You know what I mean,
21:58right? That's exactly what it is.
22:00>> Don't trust the process. It's what I
22:01often say.
22:02>> We have uh By the way, speaking of
22:04punishments, Daniel obviously is is is
22:06feeling it from yesterday. I play in
22:08another league where we spin the wheel
22:09as well. We have a weekly punishment for
22:11the low scorer. Okay.
22:12>> Uh there's 14 of us. So, you know, your
22:14odds of being the low scorer, whatever,
22:16whatever one and 14 is. um friend of
22:18mine uh is a lawyer at a like a
22:21high-powered attorney uh in Chicago and
22:23he has to wear a tuxedo to work today.
22:26>> So he's been sending his pictures
22:28hopefully.
22:28>> He's been sending pictures to me and he
22:30has said I am allowed to use them on our
22:32show. So maybe tomorrow I'll give a
22:33little my friend Spencer's day as a
22:35lawyer in a tuxedo in Chicago.
22:37>> Quick shout out to our buddy Joe Forenb
22:39who is unfortunately no longer with us.
22:41>> Whoa, don't say it that way.
22:43>> In our knockout league
22:44>> every week he says it that way. Don't do
22:46that.
22:46>> He was not out. Look at that though.
22:50Joe's a good-look man. Sam Darnold, he
22:52was good, right? George Pickins wasn't
22:54bad, but then everyone else, Divine
22:55Achan, unfortunately got hurt. Emanuel
22:57Wilson, Jaylen Wadd, Hunter Henry, and
22:59Jaylen Coker. Two guys that got hurt.
23:02Divine Achan actually is the player that
23:04was rostered in the most knockout
23:05leagues to be knocked out this week.
23:08>> So, we also have an ESPN editorial
23:10knockout league. Did you guys see what
23:12happened in that one?
23:12>> No. What happened? Uh the tie or by 002
23:1602 was the difference.
23:17>> Oh yeah, that wasn't the Was that the
23:18editorial? No, that was the other one, I
23:20think.
23:20>> Oh. Oh, sorry. That was the other one.
23:22>> Elite League. That's right. The one
23:23Yeah. With some a bunch of our uh
23:25friends and celebrities are in and all
23:26that kind of stuff. Um
23:27>> yeah, it was a 53. Yeah, that's right.
23:3053.46
23:32was the low score. 53.48 was the second
23:35lowest score.
23:36>> Yeah. By the way, in both of those
23:37leagues, the knockout team had Josh
23:39Allen under center. Uh very interesting.
23:41Yeah.
23:41>> Oh, that's crazy. thought he might not
23:43he right. Yeah, it just speaks to how
23:45good he he can kind of keep you afloat.
23:47>> Um and he can also sink your ship.
23:50>> All right, quick check in really fast
23:51before we dive into waiverss. We got
23:52some board bets we want to make sure we
23:54pay off. Mike and I had a board bet, but
23:56it was voided. So, we're not even going
23:57to talk about this one. It was Divine
23:59Han. Yeah,
24:00>> that's unfortunate.
24:01>> So, that one is out.
24:02>> I was going to win, so I'll take I'll
24:03accept victory.
24:04>> I doubt that. The other one Mike
24:05definitely got this one right. Terry
24:06McLuren had a huge rebound. Outscores
24:09Denzel Boston. Michael Clay takes this
24:11one. Thank you.
24:12>> Shout out to you on that.
24:13>> Hey, crush it.
24:14>> And with that,
24:14>> F1,
24:15>> let's dive into some priority waiver ads
24:17here in week four, my friends. Talk
24:18about a handful of guys.
24:21>> Hey guys,
24:22>> at the running back spot.
24:23>> Yeah, we have a lot of running backs to
24:24talk about. I'll be honest with you. I
24:26was working on the playbook last night
24:27and preparing to talk waiverss and
24:29looking at uh the there's three teams
24:32that are lost their running back that
24:33we're going to have to talk about,
24:34right? That are very unlikely to play
24:35this week or definitely not going to
24:36play this week. Miami obviously with
24:38H&M. The Jets with Bree Hall is probably
24:40going to be out and Travis Han down with
24:42New Orleans. He's going to be out. So,
24:43we have to talk about all the running
24:44back options. It wasn't fun. There's no
24:47one for one. No, there's no one for one.
24:49And this was not fun. These guys have
24:50not necessarily had a lot of work in the
24:52pros or they haven't been very good when
24:54they've gotten run off the bench. So, um
24:56this is kind of gross and it's going to
24:58be hard to sort through these, but we'll
24:59tell you how we anticipate it looking.
25:01>> So, we're going to start with the Jets.
25:02A groin injury, a thigh injury. I've
25:05heard a couple of different things here.
25:06Yeah. Um, Bree Hall week to week.
25:09>> I think you have to at least plan on him
25:11not being there. And if that's the case,
25:12the guy that we saw take over was Brilan
25:14Allen.
25:15>> How high up this list are you guys? Is
25:17he is a must add for you at running
25:18back?
25:19>> He is the number one out of all the
25:20running available this week. We were
25:22talking about this pre-show. Bruce Hall
25:24got hurt at 11:30.
25:26>> Correct. 113.
25:26>> 11 minutes and 36 seconds left in the
25:28fourth quarter on Sunday. Good call by
25:30>> Got it right guy. Uh, and the rest of
25:33the way the Jets ran 17 plays.
25:36>> Brillan Allen played all 17 of those
25:38plays.
25:39>> We talk about how like sometimes when
25:41quarterbacks get hurt, like how it goes
25:43the rest of the game for the backup is
25:45not reflective of how we feel it will go
25:46for that backup. But the full week of
25:48preparation, the Bear is probably a good
25:50testament to that last night.
25:52>> When a running back gets hurt, like it's
25:54not unusual for the third running back
25:56on the roster to have a role anyways.
25:59And so you can just split the snaps the
26:02rest of the way. For Isaiah Davis to
26:04play zero snaps in the last 17 was
26:07notable to me. The Jets I think playing
26:09on Brilan Allen being their guy this
26:12weekend at least against the Bears who I
26:14think is a defense you can run the
26:16football against. Aquin averaged what
26:17nearly five and a half yards per carry
26:20last night. So Brilan Allen will be my
26:22priority even if this is only a oneweek
26:24thing which it sounds like there's a
26:25chance this is a oneweek fill. Yeah. By
26:27the way, Allan kind of a fun player in
26:29theory to watch. He's one of the biggest
26:30running backs in the NFL. He's like 6'1,
26:32what 230 now. He lost some weight in the
26:34offseason. Gets a lot of hype every
26:35year. Oh no, he's going to eat into
26:36Bryce Bree Hall's workload and it just
26:39hasn't happened. He hasn't really done
26:40it and he hasn't run well. He's
26:41averaging 3.7 yards per carry so far in
26:44his career. And he's been around, we'll
26:46say, I mean, he missed most of last
26:48season, so it's not fair to, you know,
26:50hold that against him. But, uh, he
26:52hasn't really emerged as real a real
26:53threat. He only has two double digit
26:54fantasy games. Both were in 2024. So,
26:57I'm curious to see him get 15 20 touches
27:00and see what he could do with it. But,
27:01uh, so far it hasn't happened. It makes
27:03me temper expectations.
27:04>> When you think 15 to 20 touches, how
27:06many of them are in the rushing game?
27:07How many of them are in the
27:08>> most in the I would imagine most in the
27:10rushing. Isaiah Davis, there was it was
27:13um two years ago, Hall was the lead back
27:15for the Jets. This was a different
27:16coaching staff, keep in mind, but Davis
27:18and uh Allen were kind of splitting the
27:21number two job back and forth. Uh, and
27:23Davis outplayed him. I mean, by the way,
27:24Davis had 64 touches last year, and in
27:26his career, he's averaging 5.6 yards per
27:28carry. So, he's player. Yes. So, I just
27:30want to I agree with you. Allen's the
27:33priority. I'm more likely to go with him
27:35as a flex. I mean, Davis doesn't have a
27:37have a touch this year, so naturally,
27:38we're going to lean toward Allen, but
27:39there's a a chance that he's kind of
27:41grinding away, and Davis is the one
27:42making plays. It's at least possible.
27:44So, just it makes me hesitate a little
27:46bit with how much capital I'm going to
27:47spend here. On top of the fact that we
27:49are talking about most likely splits in
27:52all of these situations where three
27:54starting running backs went down, we're
27:56also talking about three teams who the
27:58running backs that went down weren't
28:00exactly crushing, right? Devon Han is in
28:02a struggling Miami offense. We'll talk
28:04about Travis Han in a struggling Saints
28:07running game and then Bree Hall who very
28:09talented, but the story of Bree Hall's
28:11fantasy career has always been like
28:13there is plenty of upside because he's
28:15just that talented. the infrastructure
28:17isn't great around him. So, Brilan Allen
28:19is my number one running back ad for
28:21this week. He will not crack my top 20
28:23for week four running back ranks.
28:25>> Let's talk about Travis Han next.
28:26>> Yeah, by the way, if you don't like
28:28hearing Han and you're getting
28:29frustrated with the Han ETN stuff, like
28:32neither of them are none of them are
28:33playing. Three of them. There's three of
28:35them. None of them are still on IR.
28:37Travis is going to be out and uh of
28:39course Devon is out for the season. So,
28:41if you were frustrated with that, you
28:42don't have to sweat it for this.
28:43>> Travis Han missing time with a
28:44hamstring. Sounds like it could be a
28:46couple of weeks. We got Alvin Chimera,
28:48we got Kendra Miller, and CJ freaking
28:50Donaldson just won't go away in this
28:52back field as well. You mean like that's
28:54not his middle name?
28:55>> No, no, you just That's not a real
28:57person, right?
28:58>> What did I say?
28:59>> No, it's a joke. Cuz CJ Donaldson,
29:01that's made up. That's can't be a real
29:02person.
29:02>> Gosh, I was like, did I call him the
29:04wrong name? I felt so bad.
29:05>> And they give Travis a ton of money and
29:07they have Kendra Miller.
29:08>> Why is CJ Donaldson watching the
29:10football as much as he brought back
29:11Alvin Camra? There's no way that's a
29:12real thing.
29:13>> But it is. Is Alvin Chimera going to be
29:15like the guy? I know you said there's no
29:17like one toone replacement. How are you
29:18guys both looking at this?
29:19>> I I pro if I'm if I'm pressed to add a
29:21Saints running back. I'm adding Alvin
29:23Chimera. My expectations are pretty low.
29:25I was talking last week leading into
29:27week three. Like I don't understand this
29:29Travis Han thing for many reasons. Most
29:31notably is that Alvin Chimera is getting
29:33opportunities and he's one of the least
29:35effective running backs in the NFL now.
29:36Alltime legend, alltime Saints legend,
29:38all time fantasy legend. Not an
29:40effective running back anymore. Could he
29:41surprise us in a game or two? For sure.
29:43But I just feel like there's a chance
29:45that this Saints offense will still be
29:47good because Tyler Shuck is chucking it.
29:50And Tyler Shuck, I think, will be the
29:51goal line option for the Saints. They've
29:53run multiple quarterback sneaks from the
29:56one yard line or two yard line and in
29:58with Tyler Shuck already this year. Like
30:00I wouldn't be surprised if they get the
30:02ball down to the one yard line and the
30:03first thought, the first call is tap
30:05your own number here. Tap tap your own
30:07helmet, Tyler Shuck.
30:08>> I know it's not the same, but I feel
30:09like Ryan Tanahill used to have a large
30:11number of goal line rushing touchdowns.
30:13Maybe that was with Derek Henry. Maybe
30:14that was the Dolphins. Yeah. Yeah. Um
30:17>> I agree with you. I think Camaro is the
30:19priority ad here, but remember last year
30:21he was still the lead back in New
30:22Orleans. He averaged 12.8 carries and
30:243.7 targets per game in his 10 full
30:26games. He had one touchdown and was and
30:28averaged under 10 fantasy points per
30:30game.
30:31>> I think they're they've been using a
30:32three-headed committee so far this
30:34season.
30:35>> That's not going to change without Han.
30:37They're going to Miller will
30:38>> Kre Miller stepped. He didn't he played
30:42>> I don't know if Achan got beat up and
30:44then left the game briefly and then came
30:45back in for one more play. But Kendry
30:47Miller did not play a snap in that game
30:49until the second to last snap for Han.
30:53He he went in then Kendrick came in
30:55played like four straight plays. Han
30:56came in for one play and then he was
30:58done for the game. So I don't know
30:59exactly what happened there but
31:00regardless he's going to be involved. He
31:02was involved a lot once um once HM went
31:05down in that game. This is a guy that's
31:07been fine so far. He's averaging 3.9
31:09yards per carry in his career. And to
31:11your point, Donaldson's going to be
31:12involved here as well. But Camar should
31:14be the lead. Miller involved.
31:16Donaldson's going to handle some snaps.
31:17And this week they're playing Atlanta.
31:19Atlanta's been really good against the
31:20run so far. 3.1 yards per carry to the
31:23opposing running back. Fourth few
31:24fantasy point. So situation to avoid at
31:26at the minimum at the most. Camaro is on
31:29the flex radar in 12 team leagues.
31:30That's it. That's I was just going to
31:32say, can we quantify for Brilan Allen?
31:34He's a priority add and I would add him
31:35in 10 team leagues for this week.
31:37>> I would Yeah, probably both. I I'm
31:39probably adding both. I would say
31:40Allen's a priority though. Yeah, I would
31:42agree
31:42>> for You would add Alvin Chimera in a 10
31:44team league as well. You would at least
31:45consider it.
31:46>> Yep.
31:46>> Yeah, because it could be I mean there's
31:48a chance a Chan goes on IR at the very
31:49least he's probably going to miss a
31:50couple of weeks.
31:51>> Okay.
31:52>> Uh so we just we just were told miss
31:54time. That's all we were told. He's
31:55going to miss time.
31:56>> So then we got one other back field and
31:57it's the Miami Dolphins. When you look
31:59at this back field, obviously Ali Gordon
32:01was the guy. 14 and a half fantasy
32:03points, the most running choice.
32:04>> They didn't have a choice.
32:05>> Literally had two running backs active.
32:07>> He scored more points than Devon Chan
32:09did in either of his first two weeks. I
32:11have zero confidence in this offense,
32:13though. Like, I would not be adding a
32:16Dolphins running back in a 10 team
32:17league. I would have to be in a much
32:18deeper league. Where are you guys at on
32:19this one?
32:20>> I would take a No, no, you go. I I was
32:22going to say I'm going to take Flyers
32:23here. So, this is just an end to bench
32:25thing. I'm not starting them this week
32:26for sure. Olly Gordon came in last year,
32:28one of the youngest running backs in the
32:30NFL. There's a lot of hype there. Very
32:31intriguing prospect, but it hasn't
32:33happened so far. Yes, he was forced into
32:35work last week, had to play, he played
32:3682% of the snaps. Obviously, HM went
32:39down early, 41 yards and 17 carries, had
32:4214 yards on three targets in the game,
32:44but he's now at 2.7 yards per carry in
32:47his career so far. It just hasn't
32:48happened yet. He did score five
32:50touchdowns last year off the bench
32:51essentially. But um Jaylen Wright is
32:54going to be involved like it's not just
32:56going to be a oneman show. Assuming he's
32:58healthy and ready to go this week, he'll
32:59be a factor. Positive point that you
33:01want to make.
33:02>> I'm not getting there. Okay. Uh Wright
33:04did have 70 plus touches each of the
33:05last two seasons. Now, every time it
33:07seemed like Gordon was going to take the
33:08two job behind HN. Wright somehow took
33:11it back. So maybe he's the lead back.
33:12And that's one of the dangers here of
33:14prioritizing Oi Gordon. Okay. um I think
33:17um but they're also facing Minnesota
33:18this week. So if you need more
33:20ammunition to not start them this week,
33:22they're allowing 3.1 yards per carry and
33:24the third fewest fantasy points to
33:25running back. So like I said, this was
33:26gross working through all these options
33:28here. It's not good situations. It's
33:30probably going to be all committees.
33:32These are not guys you're usually going
33:33to want to start. Um but usually if
33:36you're like there's a lead back on
33:38waiverss, usually it's a fine person to
33:40put on the end of your bench just just
33:41to see what happens.
33:43um this but yeah we were talking about
33:45Devon Ham, one of the most talented
33:46running backs in the entire NFL and he's
33:49getting lots of opportunities and being
33:51remarkably inefficient and now agreed
33:53>> a much lesser player behind him. These
33:55all it's it's simultaneously a little
33:57bit tantalizing on ro on waiverss when
33:59it's like wow a starting running back
34:01potentially available but then you're
34:02like I'm not sure that any of these guys
34:04are really worth it. So um not a great
34:06waiver week. I actually feel like the
34:08best value on the waivers this week is
34:10quarterback streamers.
34:11>> I agree. Just really quickly, Minnesota,
34:13then Cincinnati, then a buy for the
34:15Dolphins. So, it's going to be, you
34:16know, three tough weeks in a row for
34:17Ollie Gordon if you do grab him.
34:18>> Yeah. If Gordon, we'll do ranks
34:20tomorrow, but he is not in my top 30.
34:22>> Also, just be He's not playing right
34:24now, but at the running back spot, do
34:25you guys think Zack Charbanet needs to
34:26be added now or would you wait another
34:28week or two until you decided to grab
34:29him?
34:29>> I think he's what available in about 50%
34:31of leagues right now. Yeah,
34:33>> I think he's f I put him on my bench for
34:35sure. He's probably going to be looking
34:36at 15 plus carries at least a game. I
34:39mean, they No one else is emerging. I
34:41>> I think he absolutely should be added.
34:42>> Yeah, no doubt.
34:43>> You have a question.
34:43>> Brillin Allen.
34:44>> Yeah.
34:46>> Alvin Chimera, Zack Charbanet.
34:49>> I would do it this way. Here's how I
34:50would rank
34:50>> Ollie Gordon
34:51>> is the way that you ranked. I would go
34:55Brillin Allen, Alvin Chimera, um Ali
34:59Gordon in terms of the backup running
35:00backs to fill in if you need somebody
35:02right now. But if you're just sifting
35:04through,
35:05>> I think the most valuable rest of season
35:07player is Zach Char. Agree 100%. That's
35:09what I was going to say. If you if you
35:11had Hall and H I actually in our dynasty
35:13league I have Hall and HN so I'm in
35:15trouble. Uh like I would have to
35:17prioritize Brillin Allen Chimera because
35:20of your running back situation.
35:21>> Need them back.
35:22>> Even Montgomery for Jamar Chase who says
35:24>> uh I got to think about that. I mean if
35:26I go just send can you send me all them
35:29uh tweets from the David Montgomery
35:31supporters from after week one because
35:32then that'll kind of incentivize me to
35:34make that move. But uh anyway uh
35:36>> who's aged well.
35:37>> Yeah. But if not, if I don't need a
35:38running back, if I'm if I made it
35:39through healthy, certainly Charbanet
35:41would be the priority. I have to imagine
35:43the second half of the season, that guy
35:44is going to be very busy.
35:45>> Let's talk about the quarterbacks really
35:46quickly. Field Marcus Mariota looked
35:48good in his first game filling in for
35:50Jaden Daniels. He's got to be on this
35:51list as a guy you're thinking about. I
35:53think there's really only two guys for
35:54me. It's him and Jacob Brassette.
35:55>> Yeah, he has a great matchup does Marcus
35:56Mario. There's a third name that I'll
35:58mention, but I don't feel as confident
36:00in. I talked about him a couple days ago
36:01in a negative light, but Mario man like
36:04it's it's we're sort of having a
36:05relative movement for these like backup
36:08quarterbacks that enter the league with
36:11either a lot of pedigree or a lot of
36:14college production or both. Case Keenum,
36:16did you guys see that graphic last night
36:17during the Monday Night Football
36:18broadcast where it showed Case Keenum
36:20played five years of college ball. He's
36:22in his 14th NFL season and he still has
36:24more career passing yards and passing
36:27touchdowns during his college career
36:29than his 14 NFL season. That's wild.
36:31That's insane. He was the most prolific
36:33passer in NCAA on he was amazing in his
36:35time in
36:36>> I played one season of college football
36:38fantasy or fantasy college football and
36:40that was my quarterback and I crushed
36:42that league.
36:43>> It was a one season. It's like I'm
36:44retired.
36:44>> Case Gum was the man back. He still is
36:47the man. Um so anyways, we're having a
36:48kind of movement here and Marcus Mario
36:49does part of that movement. He is a
36:51totally serviceable backup quarterback.
36:54He is probably, if you were a starter,
36:56somewhere between like 21 and 32, but as
36:58a backup, he's somewhere between like 1
37:00and three in terms of best backups in
37:02the NFL. And my oh my, what a matchup he
37:05has across the pond in Indianapolis. The
37:07Colts actually weren't terrible against
37:09the Texans last week.
37:10>> Also might be because they were throwing
37:12to like Dalton Schultz and Xavier
37:15Hutchinson. The Texans kind of a mess of
37:17a passing game as it were. If you told
37:19me that Marcus Mariota with his rushing
37:22upside gets to 20 this weekend, I
37:24wouldn't be surprised.
37:24>> I wouldn't either.
37:26>> I think he was really obviously not
37:27think he was very efficient. He had
37:29three passing touchdowns and only 186
37:31passing yards. But if you took away a
37:33little bit of that, you know, passing uh
37:35involvement and gave it a little bit
37:36more to his legs, which is actually more
37:38valuable for us in fantasy. I could
37:39still see him being in that in that
37:41streaming radar for this week.
37:42>> Remember on a per game basis last season
37:44filling in for Daniels, he was QB12, so
37:46he's certainly a streaming option when
37:47the matchup is right. Last week we said
37:49maybe avoid him against Seattle which I
37:50mean
37:52>> missing that. I mean yeah like who would
37:53have thought. Uh but yeah against the
37:55Colts this week so it should be even
37:56better.
37:56>> Colts this week and then the Giants next
37:58week. Those are his next two matchups.
38:00Okay.
38:00>> The other guy I would consider would be
38:02Jacobe Brassette in part the two week
38:04thing too. When I look at Jacobe
38:06Brassette this week he's going to be
38:07taking on the New York Giants. They've
38:08got a bunch of guys unfortunately that
38:10they're dealing with injuries through
38:11and then the next matchup is the Detroit
38:13Lions. So, if you grab Reset, you would
38:15probably be thinking at least I have a
38:16quarterback for a couple weeks that I
38:18would be streaming because we know that
38:19you were probably going to play him
38:20against Detroit. He'd be in that low-end
38:22QB1 radar in week five.
38:23>> Yeah. More on this tomorrow, but Kyler
38:25Murray, uh, he's still available in 40%
38:27of leagues and he gets, uh, Miami this
38:29week.
38:29>> Kyler is insane.
38:31>> Yeah. So, uh, certainly a great spot for
38:34him this week to get, you know, to have
38:36kind of his breakout game hopefully from
38:38a fantasy perspective.
38:38>> Yes, you would hope that. Yes, indeed.
38:40Uh Kenyan Sadi's the only tight end and
38:41he looked fantastic, but I'm definitely
38:43adding him off of waiverss if he is out
38:45there right now.
38:46>> He's like the
38:47>> I was just going to say this is why you
38:49spend late flyers on high pedigree first
38:52round talents and just
38:54>> stash him there. Just I mean this what
38:57what did I say in the offseason? The
38:58last f the last five tight ends drafted
39:00in the first round finished top 12 much
39:03like the Jeremiah Loveat.
39:04>> Uh and Sadique already I mean he missed
39:07like the whole offseason. It's week
39:08three and he's already having he's had
39:09two big games now. I mean, he looked
39:11awesome in this one.
39:12>> Uh he he looked he looked really good.
39:14And am I worried that that's the best
39:15game we'll have all season? Yes. But
39:17again, we're like when we have if this
39:20were a week with seven clear and obvious
39:22waiver ads, we would not be mentioning
39:23the name Kenyan Sadik. But he showed
39:25enough, he's talented enough, and
39:28there's enough opportunity there with
39:29Mason Taylor out and the Jets being thin
39:31amongst pass catchers in general that
39:33maybe he turns into
39:34>> Yeah. Remember, you draft a tight end in
39:35the first round to be an elite tight
39:37end, not to be just like a okay guy. He
39:38should be featured and he's he already
39:40had a game like this. He's already ninth
39:42in fantasy points per game at tight end
39:44should be rostered in every league. This
39:45guy could be top five the rest of the
39:46season. You also draft in real life
39:48these elite tight ends to be
39:50>> the greatest market inefficiency in the
39:52NFL right now.
39:54>> You guys, I'm sure you guys have seen
39:55this. You we obviously watched the
39:56Saints and Raiders game on Sunday and
39:58the way in which Brock Bowers was
40:00deployed was basically as a wide
40:01receiver. I saw the the splits between
40:04the amount of snaps he played as inline
40:06tight end versus split out either in the
40:07slot or all the way out wide. He played
40:10like what 12% of his snaps as an inline
40:12tight end. He's extension eligible after
40:14this season.
40:15>> I was just going to ask you this.
40:16>> And the Raiders if they blow the tight
40:18end market away are going to pay him
40:20like 2122 million per year.
40:24>> He's worth more than that.
40:25>> The Patriots played Romeo Dobs $17
40:27million per year this off seasonason.
40:29>> Yep. Which one of those guys would you
40:30like how much of a delta in average
40:33annual value is there between those two
40:35players, right? Like what? He's not I
40:39would take if I'm building a passing
40:41offense, I would take one of those top
40:43flight wide receivers, the the Jamar
40:45Chase, JSN types that are already the
40:46very top of the food chain over Brock
40:48Bowers, but not by a lot. Nope. And
40:50they're going to be much else $20
40:52million more per year. Wild.
40:54>> See, he's uh if he's listening, he might
40:56hire you as an agent. He's got he's got
40:58one of the best ever, so he'll be in
40:59good hands.
41:00>> I don't know. You're making a You're
41:01making a strong case.
41:02>> But I'm It really is like if you're a
41:04team that thinks this guy can be the
41:05focal point to your passing game. That's
41:07an amazing
41:07>> Yeah. By the way, Michael Mayer is their
41:09tight end.
41:10>> Powers is their top receiver.
41:11>> Rob Powers, wide receiver.
41:12>> Yeah. Yeah, definitely.
41:13>> Let's dive into the mailbag, my friends.
41:15Let's do it.
41:15>> We got a couple people we're going to
41:16get some questions from. First and
41:18foremost, guys, I asked you, did anybody
41:20lose by a point or less with Debo Samuel
41:23in your lineup? We in fact had a lineup
41:26in which Debo Samuel scored the 15.4
41:29fantasy points, that's 80 receiving
41:31yards and a touchdown, but didn't get
41:32the catch and they lost 111.04 to
41:36111.26.
41:38>> Not getting that reception.
41:40>> Even in half PPR, you would have won
41:42that.
41:42>> Yes. God,
41:43>> that's so frustrating. But you know
41:45what's amazing is like
41:48>> as you're Yeah. Uh if as you're going
41:50through Sunday when Debo had that 80
41:52yard hook and ladder, you're like,
41:54"That's amazing.
41:54>> This is incredible.
41:55>> This is great." Like I just got 14
41:57fantasy points out of nowhere. Do you
41:58guys call it a hook and ladder? Hook and
42:00later roll.
42:01>> Hook and ladder.
42:02>> I say hook and ladder. Okay.
42:03>> But is a hook and ladder?
42:04>> I think both are socially acceptable.
42:06Yes. Um because you know, one player's
42:09running a hook, he is then throwing a
42:11lateral
42:12>> to the other player.
42:13>> Yeah. Why would it be called a ladder? I
42:15>> I don't know. But apparently they're
42:16both socially acceptable. That's that's
42:18typical of English, the English
42:19language, right? We just say stuff like,
42:21you know what, we're just going to
42:22change it. It's like I talk to my
42:24daughters about that. It's just like
42:25they come home starting to say words
42:27that like new popular words that don't
42:29make sense. I'm like, that that's not
42:30what that word means, though. And
42:31they're like, well, yes, it does. I'm
42:32like, no, it doesn't. That's not what
42:34that word means. And they just use it
42:36that way. And it's just because that's
42:38what it is.
42:38>> That's what you can do. You can just
42:40make something mean something and then
42:41All right, guys. It is what it is.
42:42>> Another Farfin Nugan here for you guys.
42:44>> Be yelling at a cloud. Farfinan. Yeah,
42:46that's a new that's another temper
42:47question.
42:48>> My god,
42:49>> is more aerodynamic for the beer mom
42:51now. Thank you, Owen Davis.
42:52>> What do we do with this man?
42:53>> Appreciate that.
42:55>> Oh,
42:55>> I'm 0 and3. Is there still hope for me?
42:57I'm in a 10 PERSON LEAGUE REAL
42:59>> ANDRI. OH NO.
43:01>> That's real Torren.
43:03>> Real.
43:04>> Real Torren. Yeah,
43:05>> realtor Andre.
43:06>> Yes, there's still hope for me in a 10.
43:08>> Using Mike Clay's rankings. Just use
43:10field and eyes.
43:11>> Uh, didn't I just beat you by a hundred?
43:13I'm just gonna use that all week while I
43:14can. Eddie B,
43:16>> would you drop Drake May from Marcus
43:18Maria? I
43:18>> that's a nice segue into our next
43:20segment. So table that question unless
43:22we have more.
43:24>> Jaden Daniel's not going to IR. He might
43:25be back in a week or two. So
43:27>> he's going to practice this weekend.
43:28>> Yeah. So Mario, this isn't even a full
43:30season question, but yeah, you're right.
43:31We'll get into May soon.
43:32>> Yep.
43:32>> Gabe Mice wants to know, would you guys
43:34pick up Keenan Allen after what he did
43:35last week?
43:36>> I mean, end of bench fine, but I'm not
43:38moving.
43:38>> Yeah, I just don't think you're going to
43:39want to start. I mean, he did this a
43:40couple times last year and was very
43:42unproductive with a huge target share
43:43last season. And it's hard for me to
43:45imagine that it's consistent in that
43:46Colts offense. So
43:48>> I forgot I mentioned earlier that I said
43:50like there's one more quarterback that
43:51kind of has my attention this week even
43:53though I talked about it is Daniel Jones
43:54against the Commander. Okay. The
43:56Commander 11 passing touchdowns allowed
43:58so far this season. The problem is
43:59Daniel Jones has not passed the eye
44:01test, right? That's been a tough watch
44:03offensively. And Jonathan Taylor could
44:05easily Jonathan Taylor is like the king
44:07of Europe games. Remember last year when
44:08he scored that touchdown in overtime
44:10against the Falcons, he had like 49
44:12points or something.
44:13>> Yeah. Yeah, the Colts are I'm I'm
44:14interested to see how they progress now
44:16because uh they did go toe-to-toe with
44:18the Chiefs. I mean, what was it? 3230
44:20two weeks ago and then they played the
44:21Texans who got a little back on track
44:23defensively. So, kind of a fascinating
44:25team right there.
44:26>> All right, next segment. You're going to
44:27keep fishing or cut bait? We fishing for
44:29fantasy points still in our starting
44:31lineup or we cutting the bait, moving
44:33them to our bench.
44:34>> You guys are to be out in the water. I'm
44:36not though.
44:37>> I love being out there on the boat.
44:38>> Daniel loves fishing. This is your new
44:40obsession.
44:40>> This is my new hobby. Yeah.
44:41>> Would rather be hobby? both. Okay. Mine
44:44my uh thought bubble would be would
44:45rather be doing projections.
44:47>> Oh, Michael.
44:48>> Do you fish at all?
44:49>> I do not. I haven't in a long time.
44:51Probably 30 years. When I was a kid,
44:53maybe I went really don't fish. Okay.
44:55>> Been a very long time.
44:56>> You only uh like spawn fishing. Did you
44:59really?
45:00>> Yeah. I went out when it was raining.
45:01Yeah. My gosh.
45:02>> It was fantastic. I haven't gone down to
45:03the ocean yet. I only do lakes and and
45:05rivers. There's a lot of coes around us.
45:07Um a lot to do with soft plastics, a lot
45:09of jigging. You know,
45:10>> we live stuff. you know, this area
45:12that's obviously so beautiful in so many
45:13ways, including that we have great uh
45:15saltwater fishing around us.
45:17>> There is. We got some nice brackish
45:18water down towards the shore where you
45:19get the salt water and fresh water that
45:21meet and get some nice stripers up in
45:22there.
45:22>> I know all these words you're saying.
45:23>> Yeah, totally.
45:24>> Let's dive in, my friends. Are we going
45:26to keep fishing for fantasy points with
45:28Drake May or are we cutting bait moving
45:29him to the bench?
45:30>> Yeah. So, let's establish the premise
45:31here. You can sort of interpret fish or
45:33cut bait in a few different ways. We
45:34talked about this yesterday is it's like
45:37fishing means you are continuing to
45:38start the player. Correct. cutbait, you
45:41can delineate between cutting the player
45:43from your roster or just putting him on
45:45the bench and finding a serviceable
45:47option to replace that player. So, let's
45:48start with Drake May who's been under 10
45:50fantasy points and each of his first
45:52three games. If you're looking for
45:54reasons for optimism for Drake May,
45:56let's start with the idea that like
45:57there is nowhere to go but up. That's
45:58good, right? Uh on top of that, the
46:01Patriot schedule will eventually let up
46:03a little bit.
46:04>> I wrote that down too.
46:06>> Yeah. Well, you you can decide whether
46:07the next two weeks against the Bills and
46:09Raiders are good opportunities for Drake
46:11May or not good opportunities for Drake
46:13May. But more than anything, more than
46:15anything, you're talking about a player
46:16who last year nearly won the NFL MVP and
46:19was a top three fantasy court. That is
46:21the reason why you are continuing to
46:24fish with Drake May.
46:26>> Can I give you one more positive?
46:28>> Yes.
46:28>> He's pacing for 465 rushing yards. He
46:31had 450 last year.
46:32>> Yeah, that's a good good nugget right
46:34there. Um it is but for until he really
46:38turns it on, it's a week-toeek
46:40conversation. Yeah. Agreed. Right. Like
46:41there will hopefully come a time where
46:44Drake May just populates in our rankings
46:46as quarterback six, quarterback three,
46:48quarterback nine, and there's no
46:49questions asked. Right. But for now, it
46:51is a I have Drake May like a Marcus
46:54Mariota versus Drake May conversation.
46:56Assuming Mariota starts this weekend,
46:58that to me is a real one. I would be
47:00starting Marcus Mariota over Drake May.
47:02I know Mike's projection has that
47:04reversed, but Drake too talented to uh
47:07release from your roster at this point.
47:08>> Yeah, I'm not cutting I'm not cutting
47:10him from my roster. I'm cutting bait on
47:11him as a starter for the time being. Uh
47:13not playing him at Buffalo this week. I
47:15I'm not really afraid of the Bills
47:16defense. I'm just afraid of how May is
47:18playing right now. It's just not good
47:20enough. Uh so yeah,
47:22>> I'm looking forward to week seven. I
47:23think we got a month in here.
47:25>> Week seven.
47:25>> I know. And it's a ways away cutting
47:27bait.
47:27>> I understand. But well, he can be on the
47:29bench and you're starting another
47:30streaming quarterback. a starter like
47:32Mike. Yeah,
47:32>> correct. Uh they take on Chicago in week
47:35seven.
47:35>> Okay. Prior to that, I know it's Buffalo
47:37and then Las Vegas.
47:37>> Buffalo, Las Vegas, the Jets.
47:40>> I like honestly like those next like
47:42there's a chance that Drake gets it
47:43going over these next four games.
47:45>> Yeah.
47:45>> And then they take on at Chicago who has
47:48in theory that is a defense that has had
47:50points put up against him
47:51>> playing the past two weeks. Yeah.
47:53>> We love at Miami and then Green Bay and
47:55then at Detroit. So having Miami and
47:58Detroit in two of the, you know, back
47:59toback there, that's going to be a spot
48:01where that's a time to make sure that
48:02he's rolling.
48:03>> People are going to cut him today when
48:05they do their waiver claims or
48:06overnight. Not I would scoop him up. I
48:08would add on your
48:09>> schedule gets thin right now. Yeah.
48:11Sorry. It was fat. Now it's getting in a
48:13good way. In a good way.
48:14>> The the proper the proper thin. Uh what
48:16about Bon Knicks, guys?
48:17>> Yeah, he's he's been really brackish,
48:19you know. I was I was thinking that.
48:21>> What?
48:22>> He had a surprise 24 fantasy. He
48:25started. No, you didn't use it. Do you
48:26know what brackish? What do you think
48:27brackish means?
48:28>> Uh, I don't know. I just decided to use
48:30it.
48:30>> Brackish. Okay, that's all right.
48:32>> Yeah. What does it mean?
48:34>> Like, does it pertain to the saltiness
48:36of the water?
48:36>> Yes. Field.
48:37>> I was going to say, isn't it?
48:39>> It's where fresh water and salt water
48:40meet and you have brackish water. So,
48:42you get like a bunch of species that can
48:43live in both fresh water and salt water
48:45and they can kind of like co-mingle.
48:46>> Oh, so when Nick and Jaylen Waddle met,
48:48they were not brackish. They were not
48:50>> bounced off each other. They were like
48:52reverse magnets.
48:53>> We made it guys. You made it. Uh, this
48:56is tricky for me. I'll let somebody else
48:58start cuz I want to hear your guys'
48:59perspective.
48:59>> Uh, well, he's trending up. He went from
49:01five points in week one to 14 in week
49:03two to 24.1 last week. So, that's good.
49:05I mean, last week he was good week
49:06three, so it's kind of good.
49:08>> Here's the bad thing.
49:10>> Two rushing yards, six rushing yards,
49:12seven rushing yards. That's not what
49:13like Bo Knicks gave us value with this.
49:15I know he got in the end zone this last
49:16week.
49:17>> Doesn't it feel like that's 100%
49:19protecting the ankle from last year?
49:20>> That's what I'm wondering. Yeah. And but
49:22you would imagine maybe he gets his feet
49:24under him and starts to run a little bit
49:25more at some point, but we need it. I so
49:27I agree. I was going to get to that. I
49:28agree. I mean, the passing numbers last
49:30week were really good. He had 288 yards
49:31and three total touchdowns and one of
49:33them was a rushing touchdown actually.
49:34So, um,
49:35>> trending the right way, which gives me
49:37some confidence. I don't have him ranked
49:38as a starter this week as they're
49:40playing at San Francisco. Also, their
49:41rest of season schedule is tough.
49:44>> So, that gives me a little pause. I
49:45wonder if he can get back into the
49:47regular every week sort of backend QB1
49:49status like he had last year. Um, but
49:51that the bottom line is if he if he can
49:53start running more and I mean his
49:55supporting cast is better than it was
49:57past two years and he was QB7 both of
49:59those seasons. So there's a few things
50:01much like Drake May that give me like
50:04we've seen it. Supporting cast is
50:06better. We know he could run. Maybe at
50:07some point he turns it on. And again, he
50:08kind of did that without the rushing
50:10this past week which gives me some
50:11optimism.
50:12>> Also, it's not game script but the way
50:14that this unfortunately backfield has
50:16been very injured. They've had to rely
50:18on potentially not having their premier
50:21guys that they have wanted. We're on to,
50:23you know, second and third string guys
50:24now. So,
50:25>> I would I would move him to my bench, I
50:27think. But I'm not cutting
50:28>> I'm not cutting Bicks. I don't think
50:30last week makes him a QB1 just because
50:32he scored 24 fantasy points. I need to
50:33see it again before he's a tier one QB.
50:35>> Cutting bait shortterm as a starter, but
50:37I have confidence he'll get back into
50:39the the backend QB1 stat like Drake May.
50:41I think it's very similar, but May's
50:43upside's higher.
50:43>> I want to unsubscribe from this next
50:44one.
50:45>> I'll handle it for you. Chadarian Price
50:46for the Seahawks who has now fumbled in
50:48two of three games. He's been a
50:49non-factor in two of three games. I
50:51think this one can be relatively quick,
50:52guys. I don't think any of us are
50:54cutting him from our roster. No way. A
50:56first round pick, right? First round
50:58pick and it plays a position that's very
51:00hard to find. But Jadarian Price is cut
51:03bait as a starter for right now. We got
51:05to see him earn the trust back of this
51:07Seahawk staff. We got to see him go more
51:10than one game without a fumble. And we
51:12got to see when Zack Charbanet returns
51:14because while he's eligible to res
51:15return as soon as week five, you know,
51:17he could potentially return in week 10.
51:19Like there's no guarantee that he is
51:21back as soon as he is eligible. So we
51:24can cut bait as a starter until further.
51:26>> Yeah, that was a risk with him. You
51:27draft him, you have to hope he cements a
51:29big role because Charban is coming back
51:31at some point and he hasn't come close
51:32to that. Um, also guys, he has zero
51:34carries inside the five, two inside the
51:36opponent's 15 yardd line. So he's not
51:38going to steal touchdowns either. So
51:40it's been it's been rough. I agree with
51:41you. Bench player right now.
51:43>> Let's go to J. Oh, sorry.
51:44>> Do you think that there's any value in a
51:46potential buy low with how bad he
51:48started that there will be value second
51:50half of the year or at this point are
51:51you just guessing?
51:52>> Not if Charbanet unless Charban's ruled
51:54out for the season. I have a hard time.
51:55>> Yeah. Yeah. I I would agree. Like Zack
51:57Charbanet is one of those guys who's far
51:59from a star, but he's so good at all the
52:01little things. It's a little bit and
52:02this sounds weird because
52:03>> loves him.
52:04>> This sounds weird because this guy just
52:05put the ball on the ground recently, but
52:07it's a little bit of like like that
52:09Stevenson thing, right? where Raandre
52:11played every third down this past week
52:12for the Patriots. He started the game
52:13for the Patriots. These guys can't quit
52:15certain players. The Seahawks are that
52:17way with um Zack Char. JMO's up next. Do
52:20you want to Do you want to abstain from
52:22J Mo?
52:22>> I'm good with JMO.
52:23>> Okay. I'm good with JMO.
52:25>> I'm fishing.
52:26>> 10 catches. Fishing. Okay. You're still
52:28I'm still
52:29>> Yep. All right. If you told me that this
52:31is an offense, by the way, this offense
52:32has scored 30 points. You should watch
52:35the YouTube feed in case you're not.
52:36Every once in a while, we got some good
52:38stuff on here. Um,
52:40>> that's the video of the alligator.
52:41Someone tries to throw him a carcass of
52:43some sort. The alligator misses it and
52:45then just falls into the water.
52:48>> Jameson Williams, this is part of
52:49unfortunately what you get when you
52:51draft Jameson Williams. Field, you
52:52already talked about this. This offense
52:55has scored 30 points in every single
52:57week this season. He is on the field
53:00nonstop. The first three weeks have not
53:02worked out. He is a guy I would buy low
53:05on if someone was really freaking out
53:06about it because I think he is still
53:08going to get more utilized. Just hasn't
53:09worked the three weeks. I am fishing
53:11still.
53:11>> You guys know how this works by the way,
53:13right? If you're the person that cuts
53:15Jameson Williams,
53:16>> you cut him and he immediately scores
53:1820. That's the week that he does it.
53:20>> So if somebody wants to take it upon
53:21themselves to handle the cutting,
53:23>> we will gladly benefit. Yes. From the
53:25Jameson will someone's got to do it for
53:27us. You know, I play in a league that
53:28has uh some rewards for big plays like
53:3030, 40 plus yard catches, 100 plus yard
53:33games, long touchdowns, and I made Jam a
53:35little bit of a target in that league
53:36because I was like, you know, even if he
53:38has 60 catches this year, there's a
53:40chance that 12 of his 60 catches go for
53:4340 plus yards, that would be amazing in
53:45this league.
53:46>> Hasn't worked out so far. Keeping the
53:47faith. I agree.
53:48>> Fishing and just remember this. Last
53:50season around this time, you're having
53:51the same conversation. and he had
53:52singledigit fantasy points in four of
53:54his first guy four of his first five and
53:56five of his first six last year and then
53:58when obviously Sam Leaporta got hurt
54:00which changed things but it's not like
54:01it was just the second half of last year
54:03he's been over a thousand yards two
54:04straight seasons now he's a big part of
54:06this Lions offense the schedule also
54:08we've talked about this we talked about
54:09a lot in the offseason the Lions have
54:11arguably the easiest remaining schedule
54:13this season that does not really include
54:14this week the Panthers have actually
54:15allowed the fewest fantasy points to
54:17receivers so far but it looks good the
54:19rest of the year so a lot of reason for
54:20optimism I agree I'm keeping in this
54:22year.
54:22>> Easy schedule and the defense is awful.
54:24It feels like they're going to have to
54:25score 30 points every single week. So,
54:27>> it's it will be hard to imagine this not
54:30happening at some point.
54:30>> Agreed.
54:31>> Courtland Sutton is next. Courtland
54:32Sutton has been disappointing for this
54:34Denver offense. He has a total of eight
54:35catches through three games. He has wide
54:37receiver 73 on this season.
54:40>> He's been bonixed, right? This isn't
54:41Courtland Sutton.
54:42>> He's been bowed. Um I got to be honest
54:44with you, I think we're fine to cut bait
54:46from your roster here.
54:47>> You think so? I'm not going to go. You
54:48can bench him, but I think if you have
54:50somebody that you really need to add
54:51this week, you get a quarterback pinch,
54:53like I'm okay with it. This offense just
54:55has too many pieces. If we can hardly
54:57get Jaylen Wadd going, am I really
54:59expecting Courtland Sutton to get going
55:01week?
55:01>> Five targets, four targets, seven
55:03targets.
55:03>> Yeah, much like Bo Knicks though,
55:05obviously, same team here, he did make
55:08strides this past week. That gives me
55:10some optimism. He had a 23% target share
55:12in this game. That's where he was last
55:14year. He's at 18% for this season. So it
55:17was a point forward. He had seven
55:18targets, only turned it into 46 yards,
55:20but also he's third at receiver with
55:22three end zone targets so far, too. So
55:23he's still getting that goal line work
55:24that's been a big part of his game so
55:26far this season. So I'm not I agree with
55:29you. I don't want to start him right
55:30now. I'm going to have him down around
55:3140 this week. So a borderline flex
55:33option 12T, but I'm not going to cut him
55:35from my roster just yet. He's too good
55:37to by the way, all one more Sorry, one
55:38more thing. Oh, you
55:39>> like leading into the season, all the
55:41reports were just like about how this
55:43guy is in the I I hate to use this term,
55:46best shape of his lifetime, but like he
55:49was primed for another big season. So, I
55:51think the team knows that like they're
55:52going to keep him involved. He's such an
55:53important part of the offense. And I
55:55know I just saw there was we had a tweet
55:56up there that was like the quarterback
55:58loves Pat Bryan. He had two targets last
56:00week. Like they're still trying to get
56:01it to Sutton and Wadd. Uh I think
56:03they'll be okay. This is part of the
56:04Shawn Payeyton experience though is
56:06sometimes the ball gets spread around to
56:07a little bit of everybody.
56:09>> If you were in a situation you want to
56:11keep him, you said that you would be
56:12okay moving on. I'm just curious, was
56:14there anybody off of the waiver wire
56:16this week that you feel like if you were
56:17in a quarterback pinch or would Kenyan
56:19Sadi be someone that you think long term
56:21you'd rather have given the tight end
56:22position?
56:23>> It's such a bad week for waver feels
56:25weird to say Courtland Sutton, but if I
56:28think quarterback pinch would be where
56:29I'm
56:29>> quarterback would be where it's at. Yes.
56:31>> Okay. I don't know what the upside for
56:32Courtland Sutton will be right now
56:33because I I haven't seen it.
56:34>> Well, he definitely gonna fall into the
56:36category of every time you think you
56:37know which week to play him.
56:39>> He duds and the opposite.
56:40>> What about Kyle Pitts? Because it's been
56:42nothing but duds for him, guys.
56:44>> This one is wild. Do you want me to read
56:45his stat lines first just so we can talk
56:47about how Sure. Go ahead.
56:49>> Was is it zero?
56:50>> Yeah. I mean, if you were a doubter on
56:52Kyle Pittz, like even your best guess on
56:55how bad it would be was better than
56:56this. I mean, week one, one target, no
56:59catches. Week two, three targets, one
57:00catch for 15 yards. Last week, two
57:02targets, one catch for five yards. Uh, I
57:05mean, and that was with Michael Pennock
57:07back. How Drake Glennon do in that game?
57:08How do in that game? Pitts, nothing.
57:12Guys, here's the big concern for me.
57:14Last year,
57:15>> 88% of the snaps. This year, 54%. Last
57:18year, 90% participation. This year, 66.
57:21Last year, 23% target share. This year,
57:238%. Uh, what? Why? Why? Why? No, it
57:27happened. No, why is he not playing?
57:28Here's a reason someone else is getting
57:30all these targets.
57:31>> The only reason for hope is Hooper. So,
57:34what's your official declaration?
57:35>> Uh, Cup Bait as a starter. I mean, you
57:38he's certainly droppable. I mean, we've
57:39seen him dropped in
57:40>> several leagues already. He's already
57:42been dropped.
57:43>> Yeah. I mean, he's on waiverss in our
57:45knockout league. I mean, yeah.
57:46>> Um, so the the the reason for optimism
57:50is that
57:51>> at least Michael Penn Jr. pretty darn
57:53good last week, you know,
57:55>> and maybe he doesn't totally saturate
57:58Drake London with
58:00>> targets this like the rest of the
58:02season. I I'm trying to make a flimsy
58:04case here. So, I I think at least cut
58:06bait to the bench, but I agree. And they
58:08don't have like a clear-cut number two
58:11receiver that worson's barely a factor.
58:14>> No doubt. So, I'm don't get me wrong, I
58:15think there's a chance he can get back
58:16into the top 12, top 10 conversation,
58:19but right now, is he a must roster? No.
58:21I mean, again, we're we're even the 10
58:23team show league, FFC league. He was on
58:25waiverss all he was on a free agent to
58:27pick up all last week. Nobody touched
58:28him right Sunday and no one picked him
58:30up and
58:30>> I hear you.
58:31>> So, uh and well, obviously they played
58:33Thursday, but no one picked him up
58:34leading into that game. So, right now
58:35he's not startable. He's borderline
58:37rosterable.
58:38>> I'm going to ask I'm going to keep
58:39asking you guys because it's this week.
58:40I know it's a bad week. Would you rather
58:41have Kenyan Sadique on your roster than
58:42Kyle Pittz?
58:43>> Yeah.
58:44>> Uh yes.
58:45>> Yeah. It's hard to believe, but
58:46>> it's a conversation, but if if he's out
58:48there, you'd rather have Okay. I love
58:49that. Quinn Sean Judkins. Mike, you've
58:51been trying to roll with this dude.
58:53>> I thought last week last week I said it
58:55had to happen in that game at home
58:57against Carolina and it didn't happen.
58:59Six straight games now under 11 fantasy
59:01points going back to last year. He's
59:02averaging 3.0 yards per carry. Has
59:05caught all nine of his targets but only
59:0753 yards. He hasn't found the end zone.
59:0920 touches last week. You love that. You
59:11got to keep that guy rostered. But he
59:12only had 79 yards. And this is really
59:15concerning. This has to change or he's
59:17not going anywhere. He's not going to be
59:19startable anywhere close to startable
59:21all season. One carry inside the 10.
59:23Can't have it. He's a big running back.
59:25He doesn't do a ton in the passing game.
59:26He has to get touchdown opportunities.
59:28If there's a potential saving grace,
59:30it's not the O line which has been
59:31struggling. But it is the fact that the
59:33offense has been better than we thought.
59:35It's at least competent. Maybe he can
59:36get rolling. But for now, uh he is a
59:39borderline RB2. Probably more of a flex
59:41option. But I'm you could I don't I
59:44don't know how to word this because he
59:45>> The answer is fish.
59:47Fish in terms of a bowl, but I don't
59:50feel great about starting him. It's this
59:52is a close call.
59:53>> He's better than so many like the names
59:55we've talked about so far. You know,
59:57like that's he's still more valuable
59:59than like Kyle Pittz or Jadari. Well,
1:00:01>> Bo Knicks, you like I think to me
1:00:03>> Quinchan Judkins is a fish.
1:00:06>> Just it may not happen the way that we
1:00:08hoped it could happen this year.
1:00:09>> There's no way that I am if I drafted
1:00:11Quinn Chan Judkins unless I drafted him
1:00:14a game. Correct.
1:00:14>> Pretty good. Unless I I He's my RB three
1:00:17or four for some reason. Like I I'm with
1:00:19you. I gotta keep fishing.
1:00:20>> Yeah. I mean FFC I have Gibbs, uh
1:00:24Hubard, Jeremiah Love, and Judkins. And
1:00:26like Judkins was supposed to be a
1:00:28starter for that team. Like I He's going
1:00:29to be drafting. Yeah. Like 10 team
1:00:32leagues. You're going to I mean I got I
1:00:33guess I got a little man lucky with the
1:00:35hub.
1:00:35>> Yeah. You want a cookie for that? Those
1:00:37are four really good running backs.
1:00:38>> I was just reminding you that I beat
1:00:39>> I know you beat me really bad 100
1:00:41fantasy points. Last one here, guys.
1:00:43Kenny Gainwell. Part of this was around
1:00:45the idea that Bucky Irving might not
1:00:46play. Then Todd BS was like Bucky
1:00:48Irving's not on the injury report. So if
1:00:51Bucky Irving is not on the injury
1:00:52report,
1:00:53>> here's what I would say. I'm I I am
1:00:56cutting bait to the bench. Yes. Right.
1:00:59>> And the reason why I say that is even
1:01:00though Bucky is not going to be on the
1:01:02injury report, Bucky's got a history of
1:01:04going down.
1:01:05>> And so I am holding on Kenny Gainwell on
1:01:08my bench.
1:01:08>> Yeah. Terrific insurance,
1:01:10>> dude. He was awesome last year.
1:01:12>> Yeah. And you know what's wild? His snap
1:01:14share in Pittsburgh last year was 50%.
1:01:16You know what it is this year?
1:01:17>> 50 44%. It's not far off from playing
1:01:20time. He's just not getting the touch.
1:01:21He's not giving him the football at all.
1:01:23Yeah.
1:01:23>> It doesn't make sense. He's such a good
1:01:25football player.
1:01:27>> I wish he would be on the field more
1:01:28often. Guys, that was a fun show.
1:01:30>> Dude, are you okay, man? Like you got
1:01:32your freaking leg waxed into camp. Hurt
1:01:34real bad.
1:01:34>> I truly thought after one trip it'd be
1:01:37like, "Okay, wrap it up. Time to go on."
1:01:38>> Oh, no. I thought it was too. And then
1:01:40Christina was like, "Oh, no, Daniel. We
1:01:42have a lot of these to get through which
1:01:44was very fun. Shout out to Mina. Shout
1:01:46out to Zack. No, we're okay. Shout out
1:01:47to Q. Q put together an awesome that
1:01:49like the video came out great. Thank you
1:01:51for that.
1:01:51>> Talented video team
1:01:52>> and Mama Do has been a blast.
1:01:55>> Now I get to figure out what I get to do
1:01:56for the next one. Guys, thanks for
1:01:58hanging out with us today. Come back
