0:25points scored in Thursday night football

0:27between the Browns and Steelers. Not

0:28enough touchdowns to the guys we want,

0:30but we'll talk about that in just a

0:31little bit. Quick shout out to our

0:43>> I want to dive honestly right in. I want

0:46to talk about football. We can have fun

0:47throughout the show.

0:48>> Yeah, we will.

0:49>> But let's get in. We got a lot of fun

0:50stuff here for the story lines here if

0:52you're all right with it.

0:54>> Oh, hold on. I forgot. Thank you,

0:55Christina. Our producer just got in my

0:57ear and said, "Hey, in case you forgot,

0:59>> Field had an interview

1:01>> with an NBA athlete, a draft pick,

1:04Field, who is Kingston Flemings."

1:06>> Kingston Flemings is the number eight

1:08overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft. A

1:10highly touted point guard out of the

1:11University of Houston. Helped them win a

1:13lot of games last year. Now on the

1:15Atlanta Hawks, and he is a diehard

1:17fantasy football fan. He grew up in

1:19Texas, as you'll learn during the

1:21interview. He became a huge fan of the

1:24Seattle Seahawks because he dominated on

1:26Madden with them during the Legion of

1:29Boom era. So, a fun time talking to him.

1:32A bright young a bright future for him.

1:34I will be drafting him in my NBA fantasy

1:37league. Yeah, we'll see about that. The

1:38draft is I think two about two weeks

1:40from right now.

1:41>> Okay. Pumped about that. Can't wait for

1:44that. That'll be a lot of fun. Let's

1:46dive into Thursday night football, guys.

Steelers vs Browns Recap

1:47I did not expect to see 51 points here

1:49in this game.

1:50>> Guys, the Browns are good.

1:51>> Yeah. Something happened legitimately

1:52good.

1:53>> It does feel like Mike, you finally got

1:54a lot of your Quinch Sean Judkins that

1:56you were looking for. Ton of passing

1:57game usage too for him, which was great.

1:59>> When we were like, I don't know if this

2:00is going to happen, it happened, of

2:01course, but a big reason was seven

2:03targets in this game for Quinn Sean

2:05Judkins. He made up a lot of ground

2:06because guys, I'm still nervous about

2:08this. The rushing was poor. 17 carries,

2:10that's great, but just 53 yards, that's

2:123.1 yards per carry. That's been a trend

2:14through four games now where they just

2:17cannot run the ball effectively. He did

2:19get into the end zone for the first time

2:21this season, but the key really was a

2:22six for 43 through the air. He got over

2:2410 fantasy points from receiving for

2:26Quinn Sean Judkins. We're not used to

2:28that, but if that continues, then he can

2:30at least have a decent fantasy floor

2:32where we can feel okay ranking him on

2:34the back end. We'll say in the the late

2:36teens running back way back into that

2:38low-end RB2. Now, 24 opportunities. I

2:41mean, that's big usage.

2:42>> The other thing I would say is that, and

2:43you know, I will be the first to admit

2:45that I was way wrong on this, is the

2:46Browns are a functional offense. Mhm.

2:48>> The offensive line's not very good and

2:49they have a hard time pass run blocking.

2:52Y

2:52>> they're a functional offense. This is a

2:53better offense than I thought it would

2:55be. Deshun Watson played another steady

2:58football game last night. Yep.

2:59>> Right. It wasn't the reason they won,

3:01but was not a reason why they lost. This

3:03team put up 27 points against a good

3:05Steelers defense. So the Browns have a

3:07functional offense right now. Judkins

3:09will be somewhere in that RB20 range.

3:11They play the Jets next week. So, not

3:13only is it a match up where we think

3:14they can keep

3:16>> sort of game script in favor of Quinn

3:18Sean Judkins,

3:19>> the Browns gonna be four and one and

3:20this is not like some smoke and mirrors

3:22four and one like this is

3:24>> three straight wins. Three, I would say

3:26decent at best, you know, like at worst

3:28decent wins. Like this is legit from the

3:31Browns right now. The, you know, the

3:33Bucks, Panthers, and Steelers are all

3:34teams that I think will hover around the

3:38playoffs in part because the division

3:40that Carolina and Tampa Bay play in. So,

3:42I'm legitimately impressed by the Browns

3:44and Denzel Boston passes every eye test.

3:46>> Agreed.

3:46>> He looks legit.

3:47>> He looks if I had been Dynasty, guys,

3:49I'd be feeling pretty good about that

3:50going forward.

3:51>> And he would be the Browns wide receiver

3:53you feel best about out of all of them.

3:56Um, I know that we sometimes have fun at

3:58Mike's expense on this show. But I have

4:00to give Mike his flowers here.

4:01>> This was fun. You were here. We were

4:02talking about this before the show.

4:03>> And this is not an unusual thing to hap

4:06to have happen. I just don't know that I

4:08see it as clearly week in and week out

4:10because it happened specifically on

4:13the war room league. This week I'm

4:14playing against Lewis Riddick who last

4:16night had uh both Jaylen Warren Harold

4:19and Harold Fannon in his lineup. Um our

4:22matchup going into the night was

4:24projected to basically be a tie which I

4:26don't think happens very often in the

4:28Warhammer League. Mike had Jaylen Warren

4:30projected for 16.96 points. He finished

4:34with 15.6. So only what 1.3 off

4:38>> and you had Harold Fannon projected for

4:4011.22 points. He finished with 11.7

4:44points.

4:45>> You miss the combined projection for

4:47these two players by under a point. You

4:49are an absolute machine. And this stuff

4:52happens way more commonly than I think

4:55most of us acknowledge or recognize.

4:57Just wanted to give Mike the flowers he

4:59deserves because a lot of people doing

5:01projections. There's probably a lot of

5:02AI doing projections as well around the

5:04internet. Nobody. And nobody, and I mean

5:07nobody, comes close to my CL.

5:09>> Thank you, man. What a nice way to start

5:10my Friday. Thank you. I'm just gonna

5:13head out now.

5:13>> Hey, 20 bucks.

5:15>> Sure. Just take my whole wallet. Just

5:17take my take my wallet. It's all yours.

5:19>> Let's talk on the other side of this

5:20one, honestly. Well, hold on. Let me

5:22really quickly Judkins still a low-end

5:24RB2. So, we're going to start him.

5:25>> Harold Fannon still a tight end one for

5:26us.

5:27>> On the fringe,

5:28>> on the fringe there. Okay. And then

5:29Denzel Boston is still in that like

5:31low-end flex radar for now. and Casey

5:33Conpion getting a lot of targets but

5:35hasn't quite made that.

5:36>> I think he's fine to leave on rosters.

5:37I'm a little worried about the Wandel

5:39Robinsonness of him. Like I don't know

5:42if he's going to have a lot Josh Downs

5:43like is he going to have a eye ceiling?

5:44Eight more targets in this game. Five

5:46for 64. That's a big day for him at the

5:48office based on what we've seen so far.

5:50So um I'm just worried about so much

5:52short range stuff just not leading to

5:53big plays. A little more value of course

5:55in PPR, but I think he's rosterable

5:58>> because the offense is doing pretty

6:00well. Yeah,

6:00>> but not necessarily um a guy that's

6:03going to be in starting lineup straight

6:04now. By the way, Deshawn Watson had 20

6:05plus fantasy points two weeks in a row

6:07before a down game in this one. He had a

6:09fumble and interception, but threw for

6:10268. Uh had 22 rushing yards. Like he

6:13might be a guy that's in the streaming

6:15conversation soon. He's hanging in the

6:17uh QB2 mix, so got to watch.

6:18>> On the other side of this, the Steelers,

6:20Jaylen Warren, we talked about him being

6:22a guy, was again a sweet RB2 if you

6:24started him this weekend.

6:26>> 3% of the snaps in this one. And if

6:28Rico's out next weekend, we have 10 days

6:30to figure that out. But what a role for

6:32Jaylen Warren.

6:33>> He will be right there hovering around

6:34that top 10.

6:34>> Yeah, I would say probable. I I would

6:37personally lean probable and doubt back

6:39for the next game. So he was back at

6:40practice a little bit, I believe,

6:41before.

6:41>> Yeah, Tuesday. He was at least on the

6:43field, not participating, but on the

6:44field is like,

6:45>> yeah, visitor,

6:47>> but Warren probably still the lead guy

6:49there. Mike, I asked I asked Field this

6:51before the show, but you and I were the

6:52Michael Pitman guys, and I think I've

6:53reached the point where I'm I am okay if

6:56I need to drop Michael Pitman for

6:57someone else on my roster. Are you at

6:59that point as well?

7:00>> Yeah, definitely. The one thing I will

7:01say is uh it seems like Roman Wilson's

7:03ahead of him and he is in target

7:05priority, but not in snaps. I mean,

7:06Roman Wilson only ran 18 routes last

7:08night. That was fewer than uh actually

7:10did he run more routes than No, he was

7:12behind uh Bernard, Jeremy Bernard as

7:14well. So, wow. He's kind of buried, but

7:16when he's on the field, he's being

7:18targeted. I don't know if that's

7:18sustainable going forward. So maybe at

7:20some point Pitman will come around, but

7:22it's a head scratcher. I don't know why

7:23you invest in a guy like that who's who

7:25had like a handled about a quarter of

7:26the targets in Indianapolis and then not

7:28really utilize him. It's it's very

7:30confusing.

7:30>> Invest and extend Michael Pitman Jr. as

7:32well. Three years, $51 million for him

7:34this off season. The only maybe 57

7:36million. The only thought that I have

7:38when you talk about a guy who isn't

7:40playing that much but is seeing the

7:41football a lot is who's the quarterback

7:43here?

7:44>> Aaron Rogers.

7:44>> Aaron Rogers.

7:46How many quarterbacks over the last 25

7:48years were more notorious

7:50>> for having guys they trusted and guys

7:51they didn't trust?

7:53>> He's right near the top of the list. I

7:55feel like Tom Brady fit in that. I mean

7:56these are literally two of the best to

7:58ever play football. So I'm not saying

8:00this is a detriment. It's just a matter

8:02of fact that like if you are a guy that

8:04Rogers trusts Kenneth Gainwell last

8:06year. just going to say that he

8:07>> perhaps Roman Wilson to a degree this

8:09year, which what a career turnaround for

8:10Roman Wilson, who was kind of left for

8:12dead after a I would say a very down

8:15first two seasons in the NFL. Uh DK

8:17Metaf, another good game last night for

8:19the Steelers, by the way. It may not be

8:21always pretty, but they did sort of

8:22craft opportunities for him. He had a

8:24big wide receiver screen on a third and

8:2611 early in the game, and DK can still

8:29absolutely fly. So, um, he is one of

8:31those frustrating wide receiver

8:33two/flexes,

8:35but the upside of DK is still available.

8:37Apparently,

8:38>> problem with DK is it's the peaks and

8:39valleys of the weeks that he's going to

8:41have and it's that's what he's like in

8:43the flex radar for that because he's a

8:44lot there's a lot of other wide

8:45receivers in that same range where

8:46>> I was going to say he's like he's sort

8:48of like Jameson Williams. Jeffrey

8:49Jameson doesn't

8:50>> hasn't hasn't peaked yet.

8:51>> Just all

8:52>> okay. All the you guys are a great

8:54offense. You don't have to be worried

8:55about he's he's just all valleys. So,

8:57>> yeah, we're going to talk about it. But

8:58we're going to talk about that a little

8:59bit. Anything else you guys want to talk

9:00about with the Steelers before we move

9:01on? Other than

9:03>> watch my favorite.

9:04>> Thank you.

9:06>> If he's not your favorite player in the

9:07NFL, like you need to rethink your mind.

9:09>> He's the best.

9:10>> He's awesome. When he catches the

9:11football, it looks like when Shaq was

9:13shooting free throws back in the day.

9:14>> So little in his hands

9:15>> cuz he caught a touchdown last night and

9:16he was like sliding down. Made a pretty

9:18athletic catch, right?

9:20>> And he and they they run screens for

9:22him. It's like, hey, you get out in

9:24space and just start rumb like I need

9:26Chris Burman to voice every Darnell

9:28Washington highlight ever.

9:29>> Yeah.

9:30>> He actually had a catch last week when

9:31we were all in the war room and I made

9:33the joke to boom. I was like, I think

9:34that might just be like

9:36>> like, you know, it's rumbling, bumbling,

9:37stumbling. That might be just be only

9:38bumbling, you know, like just bumbling,

9:40bumbling, bumbling. You know,

9:42>> I don't know how much rumbling there is

9:43from Darnell Washington. By the way, I

9:45hear you and love the player. Love

9:47watching him get targeted. looks like an

9:48offensive lineman, but also like

9:50>> takes away from three consecutive go uh

9:54red zone targets to him and it's like no

9:56one's starting him.

9:57>> He's not any purpose.

10:00>> For our purposes, the Steelers feelings

10:01on this one.

10:02>> Yeah, they're a running back when one of

10:04them is available and we'll see whether

10:05Jaylen Warren like maintains a decided

10:07edge upon Rico's return because he

10:09definitely has played well.

10:11>> I I I don't think the Steelers want to

10:13lean on Jaylen Warren and I'm not

10:15talking about 93% of the snaps. I'm

10:17talking even like 65% of the snaps would

10:21still be a lot for him week in and week

10:23out over the course of an 18game season.

10:26They are until further notice though a

10:28running back plus one wide receiver

10:30team.

10:30>> There are a number of guys in the NFL

10:31that I get very upset when they vulture

10:33touchdowns away from other people.

10:35Darnell Washington just isn't one of

10:36them. I just get excited whenever he

10:38scores. Anyways, let's move ahead. We

10:40got a lot of week four storylines to get

Jaguars vs Bengals Matchup

10:41into. We're going to talk about Jaguars

10:43and Bengals. First

10:44>> lineup blocks in this one. Chase Brown,

10:46Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, and Parker

10:48Washington. Neither of the quarterbacks

10:50locks on this list, guys.

10:52>> Yeah, it's been kind of a slow start for

10:54Joe Burrow, by the way. I think is one

10:55of you talking about the quarterback's

10:57I've never heard that before.

10:58>> Yeah. Yeah, I know. Hasn't it happened

11:00since last year or the year before?

11:01>> Or the year before that?

11:02>> Yeah. Um

11:04>> Joe Yeah. But a tough sort of a

11:06disappointing first three games for Joe

11:08Burrow. Even even if you like even if

11:10you recognize that he has had slow

11:12starts over the past few years,

11:13>> you're still not drafting him expecting

11:15him to stumble out of the game, right?

11:16He's Joe Burrow, he's got his receivers,

11:18he should be good.

11:18>> I think he's just stumbling, stumbling,

11:20and stumbling.

11:20>> Stumbling, stumbling, stumbling, but him

11:22and and Trevor Lawrence. Um

11:23>> Mike didn't even smile.

11:24>> Still like top 10ish options this week,

11:26right? Agreed.

11:27>> Um the player I wanted to bring up is

11:29Jacobe Meyers. And we're we're still

11:32early enough into the season where

11:34nothing is a representative sample size,

11:37>> but I will bring you guys back to

11:39Fantasy Focus Countdown last Sunday

11:41morning when we were talking to Jeff

11:43Darlington in advance of the Patriots

11:44and Jets game in Jacksonville. And one

11:46of the questions was it's been the

11:47Parker Washington show. Is there any

11:49thought from Jacksonville to like be a

11:51little more balanced within the passing

11:53game? And Jeff was like, "Yes, and they

11:55know they need to get Jacobe Meyers

11:57going forward."

11:59Jacobe Myers in week three had eight

12:01catches, I'm sorry, eight targets, seven

12:02catches, 64 yards, and a touchdown. He

12:05had three targets in weeks one and two.

12:07Mike highlighted this early in the week.

12:09Brian Thomas Jr. saw his snapshare

12:11really drop.

12:12>> When the Jaguars are throwing the

12:14football, and assuming they're doing so

12:16with two receivers on the field, it's

12:18almost a lock that it's going to be

12:19Jacobe Meyers and Parker Washington. So,

12:22that gives Meyers a bit of a boost here.

12:24Uh DJ Turner, the very very talented

12:27Bengals corner, sounds like at least a

12:29little iffy to play on Sunday. And Mike,

12:31because of Parker Washington being moved

12:33all around the formation, I don't think

12:35we'll see too much shadowing of Parker

12:37Washington.

12:37>> No, he might be on Brian Thomas a lot

12:39when he's on the field. I mean, I'm not

12:41Yeah, but Jacobe Myers to me in a

12:44there's certainly potential for a lot of

12:46points here. He is trending in the right

12:48direction.

12:48>> Yeah, I'm with you on that one. At least

12:50in the flex radar. Yeah. Mike, who are

12:52you going with in this Uh, well, I'm

12:53wearing my Jags green today a little bit

12:55here. So, I gotta talk about the Jags.

12:56How about Bashal Tutin? I think he's a

12:58kind of a fascinating player to look at

13:00right now because I

13:02>> he's a tricky projection because you

13:03wonder if there's some real week- toeek

13:06bus potential with him because there's

13:07some concerns here. First of all, so far

13:09so good on the rushing. The rushing

13:11lines have been terrific. 13 for 66, 13

13:14for 65 and a touchdown, 15 for 73 and a

13:17touchdown. and he got a little lucky on

13:18the touchdown last week obviously with

13:20Trevor Lawrence kneeling at the one yard

13:22line but all in all the rushing is good

13:25however he's benefited a lot from game

13:27script this is a good team don't get me

13:28wrong but game script has been very

13:30beneficial the Jags have been ahead or

13:32tied on a leak high 97% of their

13:35offensive snaps so that's certainly

13:36going to inflate your rushing attempt

13:38>> totals that means they're scoring really

13:40quickly too

13:41>> well ahead or tied so ahead or tied or

13:44competitive they're not trailing and why

13:46the trailing part might a concern is the

13:48fact that he's only played 49% of the

13:50snaps. He's only handled 52% of their

13:52design runs. And guys, he has five

13:55targets in three games. It's a 7% target

13:57share. So, what happens if, let's say,

13:59they're behind a good Bengals team this

14:01week. They're trailing. Is he not on the

14:02field? They're using three other running

14:04backs. Mir Abdullah's getting run. Well,

14:05Quinn Allen's out there and when in

14:07obvious passing situations, Chris

14:08Rodriguez scored a touchdown last week

14:10and will steal some carries and goal

14:11line work. Uh, they're playing. I I

14:14mean, that concerns me. I'm worried

14:16about is he going to be able to sustain

14:18this level. The good news is I think

14:20that this is a fine matchup this week to

14:22justify him as an RB2. The Bengals show

14:25mid pack against running backs so far,

14:27but they've only faced 66 running back

14:29opportunities. That's fewest in the NFL.

14:30Bucky Irving, Jaylen Warren both got to

14:3220 points against them. So, there's a

14:34couple things back and forth. That's why

14:36I'm saying I'm like struggling with this

14:37one a little bit where to exactly

14:38position him, but I ended up settling

14:40just inside the top 20 after we take out

14:42the Thursday night guys. It's it's

14:43interesting because I don't think he's

14:44played well enough to consider a cell

14:46high.

14:47>> No.

14:47>> Right. Like you're not getting crazy

14:49return for Bashel Tutin. Does sell

14:51medium ex exist or no?

14:54>> I think it would be tough to sell. I

14:56mean on a running back maybe

14:57>> it might be hot. He might be at his peak

14:59value though. I mean

15:00>> that's that's what I'm that's what I'm

15:01wondering.

15:01>> That's a tricky part of this.

15:02>> Yeah. It's because

15:04>> Chris Rodriguez, we talked about him

15:06coming into the year like it's hard to

15:07figure out the case for which he has a

15:09lot of upside. It's so much more about

15:10the value he takes away right from

15:12Bachel Tutin.

15:13>> We need a final pronunciation on Tuton's

15:16first name. By the way,

15:17>> Bachel Bachel Basil.

15:19>> Basial.

15:19>> Well, the last time I The last time I

15:21looked up someone's pronunciation, I was

15:23wrong about Valle. Vele,

15:25>> but I I like looked for that. I

15:27researched it and it said rhymes with

15:29delay. So, I was pushing that narrative

15:31wrong. So, I'm not

15:32>> Oh, rhymes with delay.

15:33>> Yeah, apparently.

15:34>> Are you saying delay wrong, too?

15:36>> No,

15:38>> yeah, is correct. But how much of a

15:40delay is there on your

15:41>> All right, stop talking. Uh, so anyway,

15:44this is not my uh area. I'm going to I'm

15:46going to step away from looking up

15:47pronunciations, but tell me

15:49>> he'd be tootin. Um, he'd be toot and be

15:52running on on Sundays. Uh, so I I I

15:55don't know exactly what the value in

15:58return would be for Toutin, but there

15:59are a couple of like red flags working

16:01against him. Mike already highlighted

16:03them and didn't really dive into the

16:05Chris Rodriguez of it all in goal line

16:07specific situations which

16:09>> he scored last week.

16:09>> Yeah, it it could certainly happen. So,

16:11I I think he's fine and fine might be

16:14good enough because of how few running

16:16backs there are to trust this year,

16:18>> but I'm also weary that this might be

16:20more of a committee than the three last

16:23week box scores suggest.

16:25>> One thing seems very definitive and that

16:26is that his ceiling is is capped because

16:29of the

16:30>> that's a concern here. four guys that

16:31are there. So, no matter what, you're

16:33not going to get a high end high end.

16:34>> We need to see what happened with

16:35Judkins last night where we weren't

16:36expecting much in the passing game, but

16:38it it started to show up. But I don't

16:40think they're telling us they're going

16:41to do that even with Rodriguez. They're

16:42they're like, "Nope, we'll throw one of

16:44these other running backs out in the

16:45field." Laquin Allen or Abdullah in

16:47passing situations. And that's a that's

16:49a concern here.

16:50>> I'm taking the Bengals in this one.

16:51Where are you guys going?

16:51>> I'm taking the Jaguars.

16:53>> I am taking the Jaguars.

16:54>> I'm the only one on an island in

16:56Cincinnati.

16:57>> Wow.

16:57>> You were an island with the Browns.

16:59>> I was. I was. Thank you. I appreciate

17:01that. Appreciate

17:01>> it.

17:01>> Eagles are uh look look pretty good, but

17:03man, the Jags look great. Yeah, great.

17:07>> Let's talk about this next one. Rams at

Rams vs Eagles Matchup

17:10Eagles.

17:10>> Got some news here, boys.

17:11>> Yeah, we do.

17:12>> Yeah, this one stinks. I uh you might

17:14see a projection's on the screen, but I

17:16cleared it. Did you?

17:17>> About an hour or two ago. Uh looks like

17:19Dvonte Smith not going to play in this

17:21one.

17:21>> Puka Nua is in there. Dvonte Smith not

17:23in there. Saquon Barkley, Ka Williams,

17:26Puka Nua. Dvonte Smith now should be

17:27out. And then Devonte Adams, as it

17:31stands right now, guys, if there's no

17:32Dvonte Smith, is there anyone else that

17:34you're gonna pivot to in this offense as

17:35a pass catcher?

17:36>> Dantavian Wix.

17:37>> Davian Wixs. Yeah. Yes. Um,

17:39>> there's an obvious concern here, but go

17:41ahead.

17:41>> Right. Yeah. So, all right. We got

17:42Dvonte Smith and and Dallas likely out

17:45for this game.

17:46>> Damonte missed his second straight

17:47practice yesterday. A report from our

17:48guy Tim McManis and Mike Gerafolo uh

17:50that there's not a lot of optimism about

17:52him playing on Sunday. This is where I

17:54get nervous is that I Tontavian Wixs and

17:57he hasn't had nearly the career of the

17:59guy that I'm about to invoke a

18:00comparison to, but you know how T.

18:03Higgins has largely been better when

18:05Jamar Chase has been on the field. It's

18:07like he's better when he can feast on

18:09twos than be the guy and be manned up by

18:12opposing top corners.

18:14>> Dantavian Wixs, again, not the same

18:16level as T. Higgins, but I would fear

18:18that if Dantavian Wick steps into the

18:20wide receiver one role

18:21>> and could potentially see some that

18:24would be a real problem.

18:24>> Yeah, Jaylen Watson probably out so it

18:26does help the Eagle or he is out so it's

18:28going to help the Eagles offense. He's

18:29the other starting corner but uh yeah,

18:31McDuffy in that scenario more even more

18:34likely to chase Wix around I would

18:36imagine because Mai Lemon's going to be

18:37in the slot and then you're going to

18:38have like

18:39>> Hollywood Brown, Darius Cooper, that's

18:40going to be the guy on the other side.

18:42So naturally it makes sense if you have

18:43a replacement corner manual

18:45>> really being moved around all that much.

18:47>> What Wix I mean no he's primarily going

18:48to be on the perimeter because you're

18:49going to have Lemon inside a little bit

18:51of run which I think that makes that

18:52only bolters the chances of Trent McDuff

18:55where you get in trouble with these it's

18:57hard to shadow these guys that are

18:58motioning all the time puts them in

19:00precarious spots. But when you've got

19:02wide receivers who are relatively

19:03stagnant think about Marvin Harrison

19:05back in the day the old the one that was

19:07actually good. um he played famously. It

19:10was like the Colts had sides for their

19:12wide receivers and you just knew every

19:14single play.

19:15>> It didn't matter. Obviously, they

19:16continue to absolutely smother defenses.

19:18But um for Dantavian Wix, like for a guy

19:21that's probably pretty stationary, it

19:22only boosters boosts the chance, excuse

19:24me, that Trent McDuffy shadows him and

19:27Trent McDuffy is an excellent that's

19:29it's a top what fiveish corner in the

19:31NFL. And by the way, five to seven.

19:33>> By one of the few corners that will

19:34shadow on this in the slot, too. Not.

19:37Usually they don't do that, but he's one

19:38of the few that has done that. So, he

19:40could be on him a lot in this.

19:41>> So, are we we calling Wix? And I will be

19:43updating my rankings now that I know

19:44Mike's removed on Devonte. Are we

19:46calling him a

19:47>> He's a flex. I would say maybe in the in

19:49the wide receiver three conversations

19:51because this opens up almost 30% of the

19:53project. He moved to like

19:55>> 30 at receiver

19:58went up a little bit.

19:58>> How many points? Like was it up by like

20:00>> uh maybe two, one and a half, two

20:02points, I would I would say. Um just did

20:04that right before I got in here cuz that

20:06news came over.

20:07>> Oh, is that where you went up to 11.14

20:09fantasy

20:10>> that puts him I believe he's 30. Yeah.

20:12Yeah. So

20:13>> he's in that conversation just because

20:15remember Dvonte Smith was handling 30%

20:16of the targets. So there is opportunity

20:20for him and some of these other pass

20:21catchers. It's just this is a tough

20:22assignment here against the Rams.

20:24>> We by the way Keith Lipkcom has weighed

20:27in. Bashel Tutin.

20:28>> Bash Bash.

20:30>> Bashin.

20:30>> Bashel Tutin. All right. Here we go. All

20:32right.

20:32>> Appreciate that. Hey, don't worry.

20:34Stop it.

20:36>> All right, really quickly. So, for the

20:37Rams, we're starting the running back.

20:38We're starting both the wide receivers.

20:40That's pretty chalky. That's what we've

20:41been doing for this.

20:42>> Puka, though, like correct.

20:43>> I need to know who's going to play

20:44before I I still want I don't know like

20:47obviously if he plays, you're playing

20:48him, but I I still want to get like a

20:50confirmation on like from Puka himself.

20:52Like, I'm playing on Sunday.

20:53>> I would love to see that as well.

20:54>> Yeah, I want to see him active at uh 90

20:57minutes before the game before I feel

20:58great about it. Um yeah, by the way,

21:00keep an eye on the tight end situation.

21:01I mean, is back for

21:03>> what's that

21:04>> both Kobe Parkinson and Terence Ferguson

21:06>> Ferguson's not going to play. If

21:08Parkinson goes though, he could be a

21:09sneaky tight end option. Uh if not, then

21:12Tyler Higgby moves up a notch. We might

21:13see as well.

21:15>> When you have five tight ends, you have

21:16no tight ends. But when you have four

21:17tight ends,

21:18>> then if you tight end,

21:21>> Tyler Higgby had a big game last week.

21:22>> Yeah,

21:23>> we're playing whack-a-ole with that

21:24position, guys.

21:25>> We are. We are. Right now,

21:26>> let's talk about Okay, so that's the

21:27Rams. Pretty chalky to be honest.

21:29>> I want to talk about the Eagles. We

21:30already did a little bit with this

21:31Dvonte Wixs. How does How do you look

21:33now at Jaylen Herz with what you've seen

21:35the last couple weeks and going up

21:36against this Rams defense?

21:37>> Yeah, and you talked about it on

21:38Wednesday. This is certainly a concern

21:40right now. We're going the wrong

21:41direction. We were hoping that uh with

21:43the new coaching staff, maybe he returns

21:46to running the football a little more.

21:47We have not seen that so far. 16

21:49carries, 87 yards, and a borderline

21:53lucky touchdown last week. I mean, I

21:54lucky in the sense that had the clock

21:57expired a half second earlier, he

21:58wouldn't have got it. It was a very

21:59sharp play by Jaylen Hers. You have to

22:00give him credit

22:01>> for that. But obviously the rushing is

22:04down and it was down last year and he

22:05finished QB8 in fantasy points per game.

22:07We ranked him a little higher this year

22:08thinking with the schematic changes

22:10maybe he runs a little bit more that he

22:12could get back into that top five

22:13conversation. But we're not seeing that.

22:15We saw 25 fantasy points in week one,

22:17but he's finished 15th or worse now in

22:19two consecutive games. And guys, he

22:20played the Titans and the Bears. This

22:22isn't like juggernaut defenses like he's

22:24going to be dealing with here in week

22:25four. had the five touchdowns through

22:27the air in weeks one and two. Now he has

22:29three interceptions over his last two

22:31games. Everything is kind of just going

22:33the wrong direction. The Rams 21 plus

22:36fantasy points to Bo Knicks and Brock

22:37Pery. But they're allowing 5.2 yards per

22:39pass attempt. That's second lowest. And

22:41a 56% completion rate. That's third

22:43lowest. If this Eagles offense can't

22:45move the ball and Herz isn't running, I

22:47mean there's real real high bust

22:49potential here.

22:50>> Yeah. Not just feeling Herz, but same

22:52with Saquon Barkley. I honestly feel

22:53like Saquon Barkley, we with the

22:55regression that has come with Jaylen

22:56Herz, I was hoping we would see a better

22:58version or a return to the Saquon that

23:00we thought maybe we were going to see.

23:02Instead, in his two healthy games, he

23:04has not topped 15 carries. He has nine

23:06fantasy points in both of those games.

23:08He has three catches through the entire

23:10season, through three weeks, and he has

23:12zero touchdowns.

23:13>> So, at this point, he's kind of like a

23:14touchdown dependent running back,

23:16unfortunately, in this offense. And you

23:17know what sucks about this week? The

23:19Rams have allowed zero touchdowns to

23:20running back so far to start. Seems that

23:22seems good for the Rams and not good for

23:23>> and not good for Saquon.

23:25>> That's why we have him at 15 17 almost

23:27RB20 with Saquon has turned into a mid

23:29to low end RB2 especially in this

23:31matchup.

23:32>> He needs to be Derrick Henry. He needs

23:33to be the runner. Yeah, no targets

23:36whatsoever. Hardly any for

23:37>> Seaquan. So we have lowered expectations

23:39unfortunately. Still starting him but

23:40lowering the expectations a big amount.

23:42I'm taking the Rams in this one. Where

23:43are you guys going?

23:44>> Ditto.

23:45>> Going Rams. The deucers on the Eagles.

23:48>> Eagles. Big test for the Eagles to see

23:50if they can turn things around. But I'm

23:52uh

23:52>> they're a tough team.

23:53>> It's hard to pick them right now. It's

23:54hard to pick them watching the first

23:56three games.

23:56>> Let's talk about the battle of the

Cowboys vs Texans Matchup

23:58Lonear State Cowboys and Texans.

24:01>> Lineup blocks in this one. Javvante

24:03Williams, CD Lamb, George Pickins, all

24:05the normal guys. Nico Collins

24:07>> seemingly back. He's backtoback days. He

24:10says he's playing on Sunday.

24:13>> Feeling good.

24:13>> Let's start. If Nico Collins is going to

24:15be back, which one you want to talk

24:16about David Montgomery?

24:17>> That would be me.

24:18>> Michael. Yeah. How about

24:20>> Do you get more? Do you get Do you feel

24:22like that with Nico back it pumps Demo a

24:24little bit or is this independent of

24:25that?

24:26>> No, not really. I mean, maybe it takes a

24:28target away, but very similar.

24:30>> Efficiency.

24:31>> Yeah, we're all at RB20. Love it. Love

24:34it. Uh yeah, look, he had the great week

24:35one. 79 yards and three touchdowns and

24:3723 touches. Two games since just 21

24:40touches. Has 70 yards and zero

24:42touchdowns. who literally had way more

24:44in week one in targets, yards,

24:45touchdowns, than he has in the last two

24:47games combined. Yes, Field,

24:49>> we're we're waiting. Lisa,

24:51>> Lisa, two shot, Lisa single on two.

24:54There we go. There it is. Yeah,

24:56>> almost like we were we talked about that

24:58uh potential guys on the season. 37

25:00carries and seven targets on 111 snaps,

25:032.8 yards per carry. Did you guys see

25:05>> 2.8 yards per carry?

25:07>> Did you guys see the call? So, every

25:08week, uh, Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano

25:11write an amazing call on ESPN.com. It

25:13highlights their intel around the

25:15league. They're two great reporters. Our

25:17guy, Graz, is obviously a huge fantasy

25:20fan and he is

25:21>> so good on fantasy focus content every

25:23single week.

25:24>> He's at least a top two performer on

25:26Only Dance.

25:27>> Agreed.

25:28>> Hard to argue with that.

25:29>> Um, and Graz was writing about how, hey,

25:31like this could be more. We could see a

25:34little bit more of Woody Marks.

25:36>> Yeah. And to that point, uh, Markx has

25:3922 carries and eight targets and 90

25:40snaps. He's not behind him. He's

25:42actually ahead of him in targets. And

25:44last week, if you want some positivity

25:46for Montgomery, he did have a season

25:47high in snap share last week at 65%. But

25:50they had one goal line carry and it was

25:52Woody Marks who had the goal line.

25:53That's what you're kind of banking on

25:54with your with Montgomery. You know,

25:56you're not getting much passing game

25:58work. That's been a trend for years now.

25:59You're counting on that like two year

26:02ago Joe Mixon rushing workload. a lot of

26:06touchdowns. If you're not even going to

26:07get goal line carries consistently, it's

26:09a big problem. Dallas, uh, they faced a

26:11ton of running back volume so far, so

26:13they're a little inflated in what

26:14they've allowed. They're eighth most of

26:16the position. So, I don't view this as a

26:17plus matchup necessarily. If you start

26:19Montgomery in your flex, it's touchdown

26:22or bust. You need it. You got to have

26:23the touchdown.

26:24>> He was an obvious sell candidate after

26:26week one for a specific reason. uh when

26:28you face off against the Houston Texans

26:30and you have a quarterback that's not

26:31like Josh Allen or I mean even in the

26:33case of Josh Allen we had that

26:34conversation but when you have a guy

26:36that's not elite S tier quarterback

26:39>> you ask yourself like am I really

26:40starting this guy and I think Jack Dak

26:42Prescott's fine enough to start like if

26:44there if if there is a guy that's

26:46available that you feel incredible about

26:48and we've all been talking about Marcus

26:50Mariota sort of like or Kyler the two

26:53trendy streamers of the week

26:55>> I'm okay with with either one of those

26:57guys ahead of Dak

26:58But I'm not overthinking it too much

26:59with Dak if he is my starting

27:00quarterback. He's my quarterback 14 this

27:02week. So enough confidence. And let's

27:05talk about Dak so far. Dak once again a

27:08QB1. He's eighth in fantasy points per

27:10game. Love that

27:10>> he's fifth in passing touchdowns. And

27:13it's very early in the season. So it's

27:16too soon to say that this is a guarantee

27:18of things to come. But Dak quietly

27:21perhaps is pacing for 340 rushing yards,

27:2420 per game, which be the second most in

27:26his career. and Dak. Yeah. Which is to

27:28like which is the difference between Dak

27:31>> maybe settling in as like quarterback 11

27:33and 12 versus having a chance to get to

27:35quarterback six or seven absent

27:38thermonuclear passing numbers like we

27:40saw last year. The defense is not good

27:42yet but they're better than they were

27:45last year and they just added Joey

27:47Porter Jr. So I'm okay with Dak being

27:49started this week against the Texans.

27:50Obviously they are a very very talented

27:52defense. They have not wrecked

27:54quarterbacks in the way that they

27:56wrecked quarterbacks last year. Daniel

27:57Jones was under 10 fantasy points last

28:00week.

28:00>> That is definitely a Houston thing, but

28:03Daniel Jones at a much different place

28:05right now fantasy-wise than he was at

28:07the beginning of last season.

28:08>> I'm with you on that. All right, guys.

28:11What do you think?

28:11>> Texas State Championship.

28:13>> Sure is.

28:14>> I got the Cowboys. This is a tricky one

28:16because uh I'm picking the Cowboys, but

28:18man, the Texans at home go going 0 and4

28:21if they lose this that it was tough to

28:22pick against them in that situation, but

28:25I think Dallas is I think they're a good

28:27team. I got Dallas

28:28>> all of us taking the Cowboys. Wow, that

28:30is and

28:31>> it feels it's hard to imagine Houston

28:33starting 0 and4. I thought

28:34>> I mean that's tough.

28:35>> There were a lot of people Super Bowl

28:36picked this year in the AFC, which for

28:38the record I was not on board with that.

28:40I had them kind of an average team this

28:41year, but this is worse than that. Like

28:43I I thought they'd be showing a little

28:44bit more.

28:44>> By the way, if the Cowboys go to one and

28:46three, play the Bucks on Thursday night.

28:48Short week.

28:50>> The Bucks, by the way, they need to win

28:51in a worse. Can you imagine the Bucks

28:53go?

28:53>> Yeah, we'll talk about that.

28:54>> We'll talk about them right now after

Packers vs Buccaneers Matchup

28:56perfect.

28:57>> Bucks and Packers. Someone here is a TV

28:59professional field.

29:00>> Hey, we got Bucky Irving who's a lineup

29:03lock. Christian Watson and Matthew

29:05Golden.

29:06>> Love seeing Matt Golden on that list

29:07after a last year.

29:08>> Me, too. I don't love I don't love not

29:10seeing a Mecha Ibuka on that list, but

29:11obviously this offense going to be

29:12different without Baker Mayfield.

29:14>> Yeah, absolutely. And look, he already

29:15hasn't been worthy of this

29:17consideration. Even with Baker Mayfield,

29:19he's had he's been very consistent. Look

29:21at that. He's had between 10 and 11 and

29:23a half fantasy points in all three games

29:25so far. Uh he saw a big spike to nine

29:28targets last week. That's a point in the

29:29right direction. The problem is major

29:32concerns about how effective this

29:34Buccaneers offense is going to be.

29:35Remember, like I just said, they're 0

29:37and3. They've been struggling with Baker

29:38Mayfield. Now you go to undrafted rookie

29:41Jaylen Daniels, who props to him for

29:42winning the number two job. That's a

29:44hard thing to do for a rookie

29:45quarterback, let alone, yes, an

29:47undrafted rookie. Um, this guy had a ton

29:50of experience at six seasons at Kansas.

29:52He was, so he generated a ton of

29:54opportunity. Sometimes those guys will

29:55come in older and be a little more

29:56polished like Tyler Shuck last year. Um,

29:59very aggressive. He's going to push it

30:00downfield. That's good. That could help

30:01Iuka, but he's going to run the ball a

30:03lot. He's terrific runner. Um that's

30:07going to take it could be design runs,

30:08it's going to be scramble opportunities

30:10and also we worry about his passing

30:12efficiency and at the college level

30:13completed just 62% of his passes. It's

30:15very low at the college level. His

30:16offtarget rate was highest in this class

30:18coming in this year. This is a potential

30:21good matchup guys. The Packers have

30:22allowed at least 16 fantasy points to

30:24the opposing number one receiver in all

30:25three games so far, including huge games

30:27to Drake London and Justin Jefferson.

30:30But I am very nervous about their

30:31ability to move the ball

30:32>> without question. Really excited about

30:34the player. I had a fun I thought Jaylen

30:36Daniels was a very fun player to study

30:38in the pre-draft process. Uh the player

30:40comp I had for him was uh Snoop Huntley

30:42because Oh yeah,

30:43>> the offtarget numbers are going to be

30:45there, but he's also one of those

30:46quarterbacks that is unafraid to hang in

30:48the pocket and let it rip down the field

30:49every once in a while. Might be some bad

30:51sacks taken as well, but he is fearless.

30:54I'll say that much about Jaylen Daniels.

30:56So, um it's a tough go for the Bucks 0

30:58and3 already with Thursday night

31:00football just around the corner as I

31:01just mentioned. Uh, but good calls here

31:03on this entire offense without him.

31:05>> This is where I was understanding that I

31:07was maybe hoping that I can watch him

31:09get Kenny Gainwell more involved like

31:11undrafted rookie, right? Like you were

31:13talking about maybe struggles with

31:14accuracy down the field. Can we just get

31:16some nice dink and dunks to the guy? We

31:18haven't seen anything from Kenny

31:19Gainwell yet. Honestly, I'm not starting

31:20him. He's outside the flex radar. I'm

31:22just hoping that maybe with a new

31:23quarterback, we can see some sort of

31:25receiving game work for him.

31:26>> Yeah. Well, the concern I think with

31:28like Gainwell and even Irving is, you

31:30know, he might pull down and run more

31:31than currently more than Baker did. So,

31:34that would be that would be the concern

31:35for me. So, I'm not touching Gainwell

31:37for sure this week. I I ideally I'm not

31:39touching any of this passing. The only

31:41guy like you saw from lineup blocks that

31:42I really want to start is Bucky Irving.

31:44>> That's how you know that a team is down

31:45bad right now, meeting the Buccaneers,

31:47when the Packers are the other team in

31:49the matchup. We're just sort of like,

31:50yeah,

31:51>> don't have to say a lot about that team,

31:53right?

31:53>> Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.

31:55That's it for right now. Is it right?

31:56>> Tucker Craft obviously a startable tight

31:58end as well, but Craft hasn't been

32:00dominant enough that we're talking about

32:02him as, you know, baby George KD like we

32:04did at the beginning.

32:05>> Yeah. Not yet. Yeah. Hey, turns out it

32:07might take some time to uh recover from

32:09a major knee injury. So, it's not

32:10happening. Not happening just yet.

32:12>> I'm taking the Packers in this one. How

32:13about you guys?

32:14>> The Packers.

32:16I hope I hope Daniels is awesome and

32:18keeps them competitive, but I It's hard

32:19to pick. It's hard to pick them in this

32:21one. I'm going

32:22>> hot down there this week.

32:23>> We're going to head to the mailbag.

32:25Shout out to our buddy Eric Moody.

32:26Follow him on social media, Eric and

32:28Moody. Hanging out in chat like he

32:30always does for us. Couple questions

32:31here from those of you hanging out in

Mailbag Questions

32:33our YouTube chat. First one comes up

32:36from

32:39>> Red Pants Brigade.

32:40>> Yeah.

32:41>> Any chance you guys can shout out my

32:43best friend's daughter,

32:45>> Valerie? I got that right. Right.

32:47>> Nailed it.

32:47>> I just wanted to make sure that my

32:48wasn't like a Devon Veil thing. It's her

32:50birthday today. She's a big fan of the

32:52show. Valerie, happy birthday. Happy

32:54birthday.

32:55>> That's awesome. Hope this is an amazing

32:57day.

32:58>> Me, too.

32:58>> Uh that's so cool that you're a huge fan

33:00of the show. Thank you for hanging out

33:01with us. Yeah, that's amazing. I don't

33:03know what my name is. Says Drake May or

33:05Sam Darnold. Surely can figure it out,

33:07right guys?

33:08>> Answer first.

33:09>> Let me I have a Sam Darnold thought once

33:11you guys are done.

33:12>> He draws the Chargers in this one. Drake

33:14May, of course, going into Buffalo for a

33:16massive massive AFC East game. Uh man,

33:20the Bills are like, are they going to

33:22clinch in October?

33:23division if they win this game. Uh, give

33:25me Drake May. I I I

33:28>> I I'm It's a little like what do we call

33:30it? Wish wish

33:31>> wish casting wish casting. Yes. Yeah.

33:33But, uh, I'm going to go with May here.

33:35>> Do you guys think not not good enough to

33:37be like a top 10 quarterback?

33:39>> Do you think Sam Darnold could hold a

33:41little more value this year because the

33:42Seahawks can't run the ball?

33:43>> Yes, I was going to say that. I actually

33:45will go with Sam Darnold.

33:46>> I know. Yeah. And we'll talk about Zack

33:47Charbanet in a minute. Um, because we're

33:50talking about the Seahawks backfield.

33:51Yep. But they cannot run the ball and

33:54they really can't run the ball at the

33:56goal line. Like the goal line offense

33:57right now seems to be like an AJ Barner

33:59tush push.

34:00>> Yep.

34:01>> Or throw the ball to JSN, which we're

34:02all good with that.

34:03>> Happy with that one.

34:04>> Happy with that one.

34:04>> Yeah, it's uh might help a little bit

34:06more. Maybe more called runs early in

34:08the game, but it's all game script for

34:10him. I mean, if that defense is

34:11dominating, if they're just up on the

34:12Chargers by 15, it's not going to

34:14matter. Emanuel Wilson will get 19

34:15carries.

34:16>> That's fair.

34:16>> It is what it is. So, I'm just saying

34:18>> that's a concern with him. Like last

34:19year it was like get to the goal line

34:20and they're such an effective running

34:21team and they ran the football as much

34:23as they had the what tied for the most

34:25running back rushing attempts last year.

34:27Yeah. Feels a little less of that this

34:29year.

34:30>> Mhm.

34:30>> Just a thought. A straight thought like

34:31not okay. Not

34:33>> going a little bit. Not enough to be a

34:34consistent QB.

34:35>> We have bye-week starting next week.

34:37>> Yeah.

34:37>> We're looking for these guys that kind

34:39of float and we've got some massive

34:40disappointments. Drake May, Justin

34:42Herbert amongst them that you're like he

34:43could come.

34:44>> I'm at 17 so it's not like I have him at

34:4625. I I hear you in a certainly in a

34:49deeper level. I just think he's got

34:50better. First off, there's no AJ Brown.

34:52I think the the running backs are better

34:53in New England. They've the Patriots

34:55earlier today, you may guys not might

34:56have seen this. They filed a missing

34:57person's report for Romeo Dobs. They're

34:59not even sure if So,

35:00>> by the way, you said the Patriots

35:01running backs are better and I was like,

35:03who are you talking? Oh, wait.

35:04>> The Seahawks. They are better than the

35:05Seahawks. For a second, I was like,

35:07wait, who is he saying they're better

35:08than?

35:08>> I don't know. I would default a lot of

35:10teams.

35:10>> We're splitting hairs with this, but I

35:11would go with Sam Darnold. I understand.

35:13It's a tough question. Two more

35:14questions here.

35:16Uh Gshore G23 wants to know Likely or

35:19Darren Waller.

35:20>> That's a good one right there.

35:21>> Likely nine. I'm going uh I'm going

35:24Likely here. I understand the Waller

35:25appeal, but uh Likely's also been

35:27getting a ton of volume. I know the

35:28Waller matchup's excellent, but

35:30>> I think they're both good options this

35:31week, and I would go with Isaiah likely.

35:33I think they're they're both

35:34>> good considerations. Chris JC Swag wants

35:38to know, PPR, would you take Omari

35:41Hampton or Raandre Stevenson? Yeah, I I

35:45appreciate that he disrespected Raandre

35:47by spelling his name wrong. He fumbled

35:49the lettering. See what I uh so I'll

35:52give it to uh Hampton. What?

35:55>> That was good.

35:56>> I It's close, but I'm going Hampton. I

35:57have a lot of Are we talking about

35:59Hampton here today? Yeah, we are doing

36:00that shortly. So, I'll see my thoughts

36:02on that one. What was the other one? Lad

36:03>> likely versus Isaiah likely or Lad Mani,

36:05I believe is what it was.

36:06>> I'll go Lad. I'm going to generally lean

36:08wide receiver in those.

36:09>> Worth noting that Lad did not practice

36:11yesterday.

36:11>> Yeah, if he go if if he goes. So, let's

36:13just keep an eye on some of these uh

36:14injuries.

36:15>> All right,

36:15>> let's talk about this game. Well, no,

36:16no, we're not going there.

Dolphins vs Vikings

36:17>> Let's move ahead. Talk about Vikings and

36:19Dolphins. We can be pretty quick with

36:20some of these guys.

36:21>> Yep.

36:21>> Dolphins running backs here.

36:23>> First off, lineup blocks. Kyler Murray,

36:25Aaron Jones, Justin Jefferson. The three

36:27Vikings that you would think would be

36:28lineup blocks. None of the Dolphins are

36:29lineup blocks on there, but we did say

36:31you should maybe add at least Ali

36:33Gordon. Is there a chance that if you

36:34added Ali Gordon, you'd start him this

36:35week against a Brian Flores defense?

36:37>> I think in some ways that that page

36:38tells you the answer, right? Yeah, we're

36:40both outside the we're I mean I'm

36:42outside the top 30 on all of them.

36:43You're a little higher in Ollie Gordon.

36:45Just keep in mind last year we thought

36:47Oie Gordon might take the two job behind

36:49Devon Chan.

36:50>> He didn't. Uh Jaylen Wright kind of held

36:52a little bit of an edge over him most of

36:54last year and this year they were kind

36:55of splitting it until Wright got hurt. I

36:57do think because Ollie Gordon played 82%

36:59of the snaps last week and Wright was on

37:01the shelf that he's going to come back

37:03and probably be the 1B to Ali Gordon's

37:051A. So I have Gordon ranked ahead, but

37:07it might be Jaylen Wright. he might out

37:09touch him in this one. So, it's not a

37:11very good scoring offense. These guys

37:13have neither of them has been especially

37:14good so far in their career. And we

37:16don't exactly know who the starter is.

37:18>> And they're playing the Vikings who are

37:19like 3.1 yards per carry to running

37:20backs this season. This is a situation

37:22best avoided. If you took a flyer on

37:24waiverss for your bench for now to see

37:26if one takes control, fine. But starting

37:28them this week is a very risky

37:30proposition. Well said by Mike there.

37:32Let's go over to the Viking side of

37:33this. I wanted to discuss both Aaron

37:35Jones and Jordan Addison because we'll

37:36have an injury update here in a moment.

37:38But worth noting that the Dolphins

37:40against running backs this season have

37:41been the worst. They have been the worst

37:43team in yielding fantasy points to

37:45opposing running backs. Here's what the

37:47starters have done in three games

37:49against Miami. Oh, 32.7 points, 22.6

37:53points, and 21.3. Now,

37:56>> Ashton Jenty and Kenneth Walker III and

37:58Christian McCaffrey are all much better

38:00players at this juncture of their

38:02careers than Aaron Jones is,

38:04>> but Aaron Jones is playing a ton right

38:06now. He is playing so much for this

38:07Vikings offense, and this is such a good

38:09matchup that it wouldn't surprise any of

38:11us if he walks into the end zone on

38:13Sunday. Now, the Dolphins are a bad

38:15defense. Their quarterback room leaves

38:17much to be desired. And Justin Jefferson

38:19looks very shaky to play in this game on

38:22Sunday. He has mispractice on both

38:23Wednesday and Thursday. It doesn't mean

38:26that Jordan Madison is an auto start. I

38:28think he's an auto flex if Justin

38:30Jefferson is out. Why am I not going to

38:33auto start him? Because the Dolphins

38:35have actually allowed the fifth fewest

38:36fantasy points to opposing wide

38:38receivers because teams are too busy

38:40running the football down their throat

38:42and milking the clock and basically

38:44playing a running clock. They don't

38:46throw it that much. Yeah. So, I think

38:47Addison gets a decided boost if Justin

38:50Jefferson is out, but I'm not at the

38:52point where Jordan Edison becomes

38:54automatic start for me if if Jefferson

38:56does in fact sit.

38:57>> So, if that happens and Justin Jefferson

38:59is out, we're moving Addison up to a

39:01flex. Does Kyler move down because of

39:04the lack of receiving options or do you

39:06still leave him in that, you know, five

39:07to seven to eight range?

39:09>> Thing is that like Kyler could easily go

39:10for like 212 passing yards, two

39:12touchdowns and run for 22 yards.

39:15>> Exactly. Yeah. I don't think it's going

39:16to affect much. A little bit less

39:17passing efficiency, so he might drop a

39:19spot. The projection goes down a little

39:21bit, but still a great matchup. And by

39:23the way, they have a good group of pass

39:24catchers otherwise, too. Like if you, by

39:27the way, if you start Addison, you kind

39:28of need to what happened with Rasheed

39:30Rice last week where he had like a 40%

39:32target share and they he just loaded up

39:34on volume early in that game. And did he

39:36score in that one? I can't remember if

39:37you found the end zone last week. But

39:38either way, did a lot of damage early,

39:40had a high share of the targets and and

39:42got you where you needed to be in

39:43fantasy because then again, everything

39:44else went through the running game.

39:46>> We're going Vikings across the board in

39:47this one. We can be pretty quick with

39:48that.

39:49>> We just for going forward when we're

39:50doing our game picks against the

39:51Dolphins. We just assume everybody's

39:53picking against them, then we just wait

39:55for

39:56>> maybe when they're playing like

39:57>> That's what I mean. We'll wait until

39:58they're playing Southwest Titans or

40:01something. The Titans, you know.

40:03>> Uh let's see. Next one here, guys. Lions

Lions vs Panthers Matchup

40:05and Panthers.

40:08>> Big lineup blocks here.

40:09>> That is awesome.

40:10>> We didn't do uh we didn't talk about a

40:12Marian Hampton there, did we talk about

40:13it?

40:13>> We have not talked about that game yet.

40:15>> Oh, what were we just talking about? Oh,

40:16we were talking about Miami, Minnesota.

40:17I'm sorry. Forget big deal.

40:18>> Ignore me. I got so excited to talk

40:20about Hampton. I thought we missed it.

40:22>> That's a very rare like uh like your

40:24brain skipped ahead.

40:25>> I got I got excited to be not excited

40:27about Marion.

40:28>> That's right. Uh lineup blocks for Lions

40:30Panthers. We got Bryce Young, Chuba

40:32Hover, Tedo McMillan, and Jaylen Coker

40:34for that side. For the Lions, we got

40:36Jamir Gibbs, Aman Raw, St. Brown, and

40:38Sam Leaporta. All three of those guys

40:41are lineup blocks for sure. Jaylen

40:42Coker, just a quick update. Did practice

40:44limited in practice yesterday after a

40:46DMP for the first day of the week, so

40:47trending in the right direction. We like

40:49that. I would also add not a lineup

40:51block, but Darren Wallard to this list

40:53as a streaming tight end option with the

40:55way that the Lions have allowed so much

40:56to tight ends. We talked about that a

40:58bunch earlier this week. Guys, Jameson

41:00Williams is not on that list. And I

41:02understand why. I understand why. It's

41:04been three straight weeks where J Mo has

41:06not delivered. Hasn't been the guy that

41:07you've been looking for. You drafted him

41:09to probably be a flex option. And the

41:11problem is everything is kind of running

41:13through the other three guys of this

41:14offense right now.

41:16>> Totally. Uh, do you feel like with

41:17Jameson Williams, you're out until you

41:21see something or is this part of the J

41:22Mo experience where like, hey man, I'm

41:24starting him in the flex, but I might

41:25also have another seven-point game.

41:27>> I have J Mo in, I think, two leagues.

41:29One of them I'm just riding him until

41:31further notice because and the other one

41:33I I like sort of, you know, I had a

41:36favorable late round pick. I can't

41:38recall exactly who it was. All right,

41:40we're good. Like, we'll just ride ride

41:41that that late round flyer until JMO

41:44gets it rolling here. But worth noting

41:46that if ever there was a time for JMO to

41:48get going, and I know that the Lions are

41:49going to almost always have a lot of

41:50lineup blocks. And if you go look at the

41:52Panthers so far this season, you're

41:54like, they're top five and fewest

41:56passing yards allowed,

41:57>> but however,

41:58>> yeah, this is wild.

41:59>> Both of their starting quarterbacks

42:00place on injured reserve this week. JC

42:02Horn and Mike Jackson. So,

42:04>> they've been good. I mean, that duo has

42:06been very good.

42:07>> Horn's one of the best players. He's one

42:08of the best corners period in the

42:10league.

42:10>> Jackson very underrated, too.

42:11>> Opportunity for this Lions offense. It

42:14is already really good to expose this

42:16Panthers defense.

42:17>> I think if you needed to throw JO out

42:18there in spite of what it's been at the

42:20uh flex position, I understand if you

42:22could do it, we have them ranked lower

42:23because of that. Also,

42:25>> you know how many wide receivers can fit

42:26in the wide receiver 25 to 40 range this

42:29year. All of them is the answer. Yes,

42:32>> pretty much.

42:32>> Um this is pretty chalky, guys. Is there

42:34anything else even to talk about this

42:36game? Because I feel like from a fantasy

42:37perspective, we just want to start

42:38everybody. I think that's it. Other than

42:40uh J, do we mention Jaylen Coker? Just

42:42monitoring.

42:43>> I just said that. Yeah. Yeah. Limited

42:44practice training in the right

42:45direction.

42:45>> Keep an eye on the hat. If he's out,

42:47obviously Bryce, your guy Bryson

42:48Termaine becomes a deep sleeper. And

42:50certainly it helps boost the tight ends

42:51a little more, including

42:52>> uh Darren Muller.

42:53>> And we talked about Bryce Young during

42:55rankings on Wednesday. But both

42:56quarterbacks are pretty intriguing in

42:57this game. Both as streaming options.

42:59Bryce Young, very good spot.

43:01>> Could easily see 60 points scored in

43:02this one. I'm going with the Lions in

43:04this one. How about you guys?

43:05>> Lions. Lions.

43:07>> Like it. Oh, I appreciate that.

43:09Producers, what did the producers do

43:10with this one?

43:12>> Show some respect, Daniel.

43:13>> Love that. All right.

43:14>> Now, finally, the game Mike Clay has

Chargers vs Seahawks Matchup

43:17been waiting for.

43:18>> Finally,

43:18>> Chargers and Seahawks.

43:20>> Oh, that's a quick one.

43:21>> Wow. Lineup blocks in this one, there's

43:23a single player.

43:24>> Disappointing, isn't it? Wow.

43:25>> Jackson, Smith, and Jigba. You tell me

43:27in week four there is one lineup lock

43:30for Charger Seahawks. Painful. That's

43:32insane.

43:33>> Yeah. I mean, obviously a super tough

43:35match up for the Chargers, but still

43:36you're hoping to get something. Uh,

43:38>> they got so many talented guys on their

43:39squad.

43:39>> They sure do. Uh, the obvious omission

43:42based on what we've seen so far this

43:44season is Omarian Hampton, right? He's

43:45the guy that's been on that list for the

43:47most part when he was healthy last year

43:49and this season. But guys, there are so

43:51many red flags. The good is two

43:52touchdowns so far in three games. He's

43:5410th in carries among running backs.

43:56You'll take that. That's what keeps him

43:57in the flex conversation. But he's been

44:00a non-factor in the passing game. He has

44:02three targets this season. Both of his

44:04catches came in one game. So, he's put a

44:06zero on the board as a receiver in two

44:08of their three games so far this season.

44:10Uh, as a result, under eight and a half

44:12fantasy points in two of those three

44:13games. Also, what happened last week?

44:1642% of the snaps a season low.

44:19>> That's

44:20Mitchell. And they they're going to use

44:23uh Vidal a little bit as well. Um, as if

44:26that's not enough to be nervous, now

44:28they go to Seattle to play perhaps the

44:30best defense in the NFL. They're lying

44:322.9 yards per carry to running backs

44:34this season. And again, that's where

44:36he's he makes his head. He has to put

44:38it. We keep making these comps to guys

44:40like uh Tuton and Derrick Henry,

44:42whatever. You have to do your damage as

44:44a rusher. Jakari Krosky, right? There's

44:45so many of these guys. It's going to be

44:47hard to do against Seattle. So, if you

44:48go 12 for 27 and have one target for

44:51seven, I mean, there's a major risk of

44:53that for Hampton in this game.

44:55>> As the lineup locks page suggested,

44:57there is no running back that has a

44:58lineup block in this game. So, I want to

45:00talk about the Seahawks backfield and

45:01have a very similar tenor to how Mike

45:03just described the Chargers back. That's

45:05>> even worse.

45:06>> Uh, I did a little synopsis of each of

45:08the players involved right now. Uh,

45:10Jadarian Price is close to double secret

45:12probation. It seems like he also

Week 4 Storylines

45:14mispracticed yesterday. Uh don't know if

45:17that was sort of like load management,

45:20if you will, but he did not practice

45:21yesterday, so he's trending in the wrong

45:23direction. Emanuel Wilson isn't very

45:25good, but he gets the goal to go work.

45:26Uh and George Hani basically just

45:28catches passes. So yeah, it's uh it's an

45:31interesting one for this Seahawks

45:32backfield on Sunday. Um on top of the

45:35fact, and this is more of a future weeks

45:37thing, that Zack Charmin returned to

45:39practice yesterday. So I I you know I

45:42said on Twitter and I would echo it

45:43right now. If he's available and we

45:45talked about this on Tuesday, Daniel,

45:46good flag by you. Go grab Zack Charbanet

45:49because with nobody seizing control of

45:51this backfield, Charbanet has a really

45:53good opportunity to become a factor

45:55assuming he is healthy sooner rather

45:57than later. If Price is out on Sunday,

46:00>> do you guys think that Wilson, Emanuel

46:02Wilson, climbs into just like unsexy

46:05flex territory?

46:06>> No, he he climbs into un unsexy bench

46:09territory.

46:10>> Okay. Yeah, I think he becomes more

46:11palatable, guys. He's actually he's

46:13actually ninth in expected touchdowns

46:15this year. He doesn't have a touchdown,

46:16but his number is 3.1.

46:18Yeah, he's tied for second in carries

46:20inside the opponent's 5 yard line.

46:21Derrick Henry is dominating that one

46:23with nine. The next closest is like 10

46:25running backs that have five, including

46:27Emanuel Wilson. So,

46:28>> yeah, getting the goal line working in

46:29an offense like this that should be

46:31ahead in this one at home against a

46:32struggling Chargers team. He could I

46:34mean, 15 carries is on the radar. 20

46:37carries might be on the radar. One or

46:38two targets. I mean, yeah, that's that's

46:40enough volume to be considered for your

46:42flex.

46:42>> Okay, so here's the problem. Like, if

46:44I'm going to start him, then there's

46:46likely and I guess you're saying as a

46:48flex, but like that means there's other

46:49running backs like Omari and Hampton

46:51that I'm deciding to bench who I think

46:53is a significantly better running back.

46:55>> I don't think I'd put him ahead of

46:57Hampton, but in that 20 maybe 25, 26, 27

47:00range. I mean,

47:01>> you're talking 22 to 25. It's close. I'd

47:05still lean Hampton, but it wouldn't

47:06surprise me if Wilson scored and

47:07outscored Hampton this By the way, Zach

47:08Charbanet only added in 4% of leagues

47:11off of waiverss this week. Still

47:12available in 45% of leagues. So, if you

47:14want, get him now before it becomes a

47:16problem when everyone else is trying to

47:17grab him on the waiver wire this next

47:18week.

47:19>> Ineligible to play this weekend, but it

47:21sounds like he has at least a chance in

47:22the next few weeks to play. I'm sure

47:24they'll slow roll him out there, but

47:26>> if week 12 he's their leading rusher,

47:29like he is the guy that you expect him

47:30to lead in rushing attempts for week 12,

47:32that wouldn't surprise any of us. Best

47:34part about adding Zack Sharpening is you

47:35actually get to add two players off of

47:36waiverss because you add someone off of

47:38waiverss. He immediately goes into your

47:39IR spot and then you have another guy

47:40that you

47:42spot for that. Uh I am taking the

47:45Seahawks in this one. I'm assuming we're

47:46all taking the Seahawks

47:47>> Chargers have to have this one but uh

47:49Seahawks got upset last week. Granted it

47:51was across the country in Washington

47:53which you know there's always that kind

47:54of when you're traveling that far the

47:57time zone thing. Maybe it's a little bit

47:58of a trap that happens sometimes but

48:00it's not the case here. The Chargers are

48:02going into Seattle for this one. Go

48:03Seahawks.

48:04>> For the purposes of roster management,

48:06if you have Breece Hall, you can move

48:07him to the IR spot as he has been

48:09officially ruled out like that.

48:10>> Could be one week, maybe two, but

48:12>> yep,

48:13>> utilize that IR spot. That's what

48:14they're there for for a reason. Let's

48:15talk Falcon Saints.

Falcons vs Saints Matchup

48:17Last one that we have here.

48:20>> Lineup locks. Tyler Shuck has been

48:21awesome to start this season. Chris

48:23Olive also been awesome to start this

48:25season. And then Bejon and Drake London.

48:27Thank goodness.

48:29>> Michael Pennix Jr. is back under center.

48:31They're both obvious lineup locks,

48:34>> guys. Who wants to go first?

48:35>> I think this is Mike on the

48:37>> Saints running backs.

48:37>> Yeah, I'll take Saints running backs.

48:38Uh, by the way, Tra, we weren't sure how

48:41long Travis Han would be out. He was

48:42placed on IR and then so they have four

48:44games and then they're by week. So, week

48:46nine at a minimum for Travis Han. You

48:49got to keep him on your roster. He's

48:51paid too much as a lead back in this

48:52offense. He could be be a league winner

48:54by the time the fantasy playoffs roll

48:55around. He's at least a guy that, you

48:57know, if we're talking about like Zack

48:58Char and Emanuel Wilson, like you got to

49:00keep Han on your roster. So hopefully

49:01even IRS will keep him around for now.

49:04Um, in the meantime, they're going to

49:06use three running backs. They've been

49:07using three running backs already this

49:08season. They're going to continue to do

49:09that. Now it'll be Alvin Chimera, Kendre

49:12Miller, and CJ Donaldson. Donaldson's

49:14going to get some snaps, but not really

49:16much in terms of touches. Um, I would

49:18lean toward Chimera if I'm picking from

49:20this group, but wouldn't surprise me if

49:21Kendrick leads in carries going forward.

49:25role than people are currently

49:26anticipating. I picked them up in a few

49:28leagues.

49:28>> If they do get the ball near the goal

49:29line and they don't throw it to Jawan

49:31Johnson or Tyler Shuck runs it himself,

49:34>> Kendrick Miller might actually be their

49:36best goal line running back on the

49:37roster.

49:38>> Yeah, better than I think those two will

49:40handle most of the touches and agreed. I

49:42think it'll be close or an edge to

49:44Miller as a runner Chimera in the

49:46passing game, but keep in mind they're

49:47playing Atlanta this week. 3.1 yards per

49:49carry to running backs is a tough spot.

49:51>> Yeah. All that to say, despite the

49:53positive things, I don't want to start

49:54any

49:55>> Yeah, they're all outside my top 25. And

49:56again, I I think you might think, ah,

49:58Chimera, like maybe he does a little

50:00Aaron Jones impression and plays a ton

50:02of snaps. I don't think they're going to

50:03do that. Remember, even last year as a

50:05the clear lead back, the volume was kind

50:07of low there and he was under 10 fantasy

50:09points per game. Scored one touchdown.

50:11Guys at his age, 32 now, just they don't

50:14generally perform in fantasy unless

50:16you're like a Derrick Henry sort of

50:18unicorn. Still so wild. tried to cut him

50:21and they didn't try to cut him. They

50:22they were like

50:23>> they were opposed to cutting him this

50:24off season and

50:26>> here he is.

50:26>> Uh do you think Michael Penn can keep

50:28all of us fantasy managers happy?

50:29>> Sure hope so. And I think the person

50:30that benefits the most is of course

50:32Drake London. 13 starts now with Drake

50:35London or for Michael Penn with Drake

50:37London. Over 20 fantasy points per game

50:39for Drake London. And on top of that,

50:42last week was maybe the best game of

50:44Drake London's career. most receiving

50:46yards in a single game for him last week

50:48with 194. That also included his longest

50:51catch of his career as well. Drake

50:54London felt like he was teetering

50:55towards frustration land after the first

50:57two weeks when he was barely being

50:59utilized to the point that he got into

51:01it with fans and there was spat on the

51:03sidelines. He was clearly very

51:04frustrated. He is trending back up in

51:07the right direction. He is inside all of

51:08our top 10s. Thank you, Michael Penn Jr.

51:11Yes, Michael Junior's always can be

51:13trusted on special except for Michael

51:15Pit

51:15>> unless you're trying to have a good

51:17connection with the tight end because

51:18right now

51:20>> Kyle Pitt's persona non grata

51:22>> doesn't feel great.

51:23>> That's a tough one. Yeah, I don't know

51:24what to do with there. The numbers are

51:26way worse than even his harshest critics

51:28could have imagined. So, but who knows?

51:30Maybe they'll feature him this week and

51:31get him back on track. This guy was a

51:32top five fantasy tight end last year.

51:34>> And he is due, you know, his his career.

51:35He's got one, two, three, four, then

51:37five catches. So, he's due for touchdown

51:39catches. is due for six more season. If

51:43he doesn't have them by the time you get

51:44to the trade deadline, trade for him at

51:45the very end of the trade deadline

51:46because you know you've got six

51:47touchdowns coming at the end of the

51:49season. How math works.

51:50>> That's exactly how it works.

51:51>> Numbers experts

51:52>> projections.

51:52>> I'm going with Saints in this one. How

51:54about you guys?

51:54>> Yeah, me too.

51:54>> Take the Falcons.

51:56>> Yep. Going on the road by It's going to

51:58be a very emotional scene. The 20-year

51:59anniversary first game back after

52:02Hurricane Katrina. So, I probably should

52:03pick the Saints here, but the Falcons I

52:05wanted to be a contrarian.

52:06>> I like it. All right, let's go into

52:07starts of the week. Yeah.

Starts of the Week

52:09>> Starts of the week here in week four.

52:12Let's start with uh Michael, why don't

52:14we start with you?

52:15>> Oh, me?

52:15>> Yeah, we'll start with you.

52:16>> Junior's first.

52:17>> Starts first. Okay. Uh guys, I had a I

52:20had a fun theme for mine, which I didn't

52:22realize when I was drafting, but it kind

52:23of makes sense. Okay.

52:24>> Can we actually change Mike Chiron to

52:25ESPN Junior Fantasy Analyst?

52:28>> Junior Fantasy Analyst. Can we do that?

52:29Are

52:29>> you a senior fantasy analyst now?

52:31>> I'm a senior, but

52:32>> I'm pretty sure you're a junior.

52:33>> That was a while ago.

52:34>> Was that like a contract thing? They're

52:36like, I want to be

52:36>> No, I think I was just here x number of

52:38years and they were like, you're

52:39>> senior fantasy anal or a senior whatever

52:42senior or something.

52:43>> Is that when you start ESPN senior?

52:45>> That happened. Okay.

52:46>> I laughed when I said Shams who of

52:48course is the pre-minent NBA insider.

52:50He's our senior NBA insider. I'm like

52:52Shams is like 31.

52:54>> Yeah, he's not senior.

52:55>> And that might be a maybe when I hit 40

52:57they were like no you're

52:58>> that's what it is now. Um anyway, uh my

53:01theme is matchups, guys, because first

53:03of all, I'm going with the quarterback

53:05tight end battery. Again, you love I did

53:07this to jab the knife at uh you did

53:10>> Daniel a little bit, but I have Bryson,

53:12quarterback, of course, love to match up

53:13here against the Lions, who have allowed

53:14the most fantasy points to quarterbacks.

53:16Uh I have Darren Waller at tight end,

53:18who they've allowed, the Lions have

53:19allowed the most fantasy points to tight

53:21ends. My wide receiver is Josh DS

53:24against the Commanders who have allowed

53:25the most fantasy points to wide

53:27receivers like that. and my running back

53:28is Bucky Irving against the Packers who

53:30have allowed the second most fantasy

53:31points to running backs this season. So,

53:34I know that it's a little early to be

53:35getting too caught up in defensive

53:37metrics, but

53:38>> so far these have been super attainable

53:40matchups. Uh, and we're going to see

53:42because I I feel like you just look at

53:44the players alone, you're like, they

53:45probably aren't as impressive as what

53:47you guys are putting out there. But,

53:48hey, if we can take advantage of these

53:50matchups, it could uh it could work out

53:51pretty good.

53:51>> It's what it's all about. Field, give us

53:53your lineup here.

53:53>> Yeah. Uh, I also tapped into some

53:55lineup, some matchup opportunities here,

53:58but I can't wait for like our week 13

54:00starts of the week.

54:00>> Oh, it's going to be it's going to get

54:01better and better as it's going to be

54:03amazing. Uh, my quarterback is Marcus

54:05Mariota, which he might not be eligible

54:07to be used for the rest of the year

54:08because Jaden Daniels could return next

54:10week. So, I had figured I'd use my

54:11Marcus Mariota opportunity while it

54:14presented itself. Aaron Jones, who we

54:15discussed earlier on, facing off against

54:17the Miami Dolphins. And then two guys

54:19who are just elite football players that

54:21I wanted to have in my lineup this week.

54:22Chris Alave, no explanation needed. And

54:25then George KD, uh, who has somehow

54:28found a way to prove that he is a

54:30Wolverine.

54:31>> So George yesterday,

54:33>> uh, Mike Evans, I don't believe

54:34practiced, but John Lynch described him

54:36on the radio as one of those old school

54:37guys where he just wants to play. Yep.

54:39>> So, you think he has a chance?

54:41>> Denver. So, Evans is a tricky one

54:44because even if he plays at obviously

54:46not 100%, he's going to see a ton of Pat

54:47Certan in this game. This is a this is a

54:50tough one. I wouldn't want to start him

54:51this week. Um, don't most guys just want

54:53to play and not practice for what it's

54:56>> Yes. But it's one of those where it's

54:57like he's he's going to like sometimes

54:59put his maybe like his his his physical

55:01well-being

55:02>> Sure. Sure.

55:03>> ahead of like behind his pride, right?

55:05Where he's like, I don't care that I'm

55:0650%. I want to play.

55:07>> I want to do it.

55:08>> So,

55:08>> well, I doubt I'm going to lose this

55:10week, guys, because I'm starting four

55:12players. I have yet to start. Here we

55:14go. Starts of the week here. I've got

55:15Josh Allen, Jamir Gibbs, Jackson Smith,

55:17Jigba, and Brock Powers

55:19>> across the board. Lock it up.

55:21>> Are you allowed to do this if you just

55:23keep losing? Eventually, we're just

55:24like, take

55:25>> I think so. I should be able to start

55:26all four of these. No, my real starts of

55:28the week this week are

55:30>> Tyler Shuck.

55:31>> Going with him against uh the Saints

55:34taking on Falcons here.

55:35>> I got Jeremiah Love going up against the

55:37Giants. Tedo McMillan against my Lions.

55:39And then a little bit of the other side

55:40of that game. Little DFS play here

55:42because I'm doing the other side. That's

55:43Sam Laaporta at the tight end spot. I

55:44think they're going to just score a

55:45million points. My first pick was Tedo

55:48McMillan. should have taken Bryce Young

55:50because then you took you did the whole

55:52thing and then it was like it screwed me

55:54over for that baller.

55:54>> Y Well, soon enough we're going to have

55:56to start looking at like all right, I

55:57can if I like Bryce Young versus Tedaro

56:00McMillan. All right, Mike has already

56:01taken T-Max so I got to take Bryce Young

56:04because he hasn't utilized some strategy

56:06strategy.

56:07>> I got to be honest, Daniel, I don't like

56:08our odds

56:09>> when it comes to the strategy against

56:11Mike.

56:11>> No, I don't either. We'll see.

56:13>> To be honest,

56:14>> I'll lose seven straight now. Watch.

56:15>> I would be okay with that. That's fine

56:18with me. We got to get some replacement.

56:19>> Yeah, we do punishment.

56:20>> We got some We'll figure it out. We got

56:22some things on there.

56:23>> What do we get for

56:23>> Yeah, we got to remember if we do it

Mailbag Questions Part 2

56:24once, we got to cross it off. We need

56:26some new ones on.

56:26>> Yeah, we'll figure it out. We got to

56:27We're going to have some fun ones.

56:28Luckily, I won't have to spin the wheel

56:29again this week. We're going to take a

56:30couple of questions though from our

56:31mailbag before we get to fields

56:33interview. Jake Cake FF wants to know

56:35Kamara Ali Price or Merritt.

56:39>> Oh my gosh.

56:39>> Merit Parkway.

56:40>> Oh my god. This must

56:42>> JCM Chadarian Price Ali Gordon or Alvin?

56:45>> I've got Ali Gordon. I think I have

56:47Gordon the highest maybe. I don't even

56:49Gordon's at 32.

56:51>> I got to see if they've been

56:52>> Oh, actually Price's a little ahead,

56:54>> man. Oh, no. I I Oh, no. Wait a minute.

56:56Hold on. I missed totally missed Camarra

56:58at the beginning there. Yeah, Chimera is

56:59my pick here.

57:00>> I know it's a long

57:00>> Where do you have Chimera at?

57:01>> 25. He's ahead of these guys. You know,

57:04one thing I will say if you need

57:05something to hold on to with Jadarian

57:07Prices, he came out and was the clear.

57:09He played all the snaps like the first

57:10four snaps of the game. The problem was

57:12he fumbled in the fourth one and then

57:13they benched him for most of the rest of

57:14the game. Yeah,

57:15>> maybe they'll come back to him. You

57:17know, he's a young player. Maybe they

57:18come back to him and he give they give

57:19him the lead back job again because it's

57:21not like the other guys have been

57:22especially efficient. So, there's a a

57:24chance there's a saving grace there, but

57:26uh obviously a risky start.

57:28>> Yeah,

57:28>> I don't find any like updates on any of

57:30these players early on in the day.

57:34>> Injury-wise, I got nothing.

57:35>> Nothing nothing yet. All right. There'll

57:37be a lot. The projections will be

57:38updated this evening. Our ranks will be

57:40updated. So,

57:40>> also you can always play fantasy

57:42basketball. Starts in two weeks. Heyo.

57:44Yes, you can.

57:45>> Lron wants to know, should I start DJ

57:48Moore, Saquon Barkley, or Brilan Allen?

57:53>> Uh, oh, Saquon. Yeah, I'm on say it's

57:55Squan then more than Allen if you ask

57:57me. No sense in risking it with Allen

57:58when you have these kind of players.

58:00That's just wild that this is always

58:02happens every year. It's like, man,

58:03we're in week four and we're talking

58:04Brillan Allen or Saquon Barkley.

58:06>> Saquon Barkley hasn't hit 10 fantasy

58:08points going up against a tough D.

58:10>> That's good. is just they got to get the

58:12ball in his hands more and they got to

58:13move the ball down the field and score.

58:14>> Hot barbecq Ruffles wants to know, can

58:16you pick two of these to start? Tedo

58:18McMillan, Devonte Adams, or Christian

58:20Watson?

58:21>> T-Mac for sure. I'm going T-Mac and I'm

58:23going

58:24>> Christian Watson.

58:25>> Yeah, same. That's where I'm going.

58:26>> Yeah.

58:26>> If if Puka didn't play, would that move

58:28Devonte in ahead?

58:30>> That's a great team. You got hot

58:31barbecue ruffles.

58:32>> Yeah,

58:34>> those are really tasty.

58:35>> I was just going to say you can't you

58:36can't call in with a name like that.

58:38Jordan Stuck wants to know

58:41>> team names rating. Chuck-E-Cheese.

58:43>> Excellent.

58:43>> Chuck-E-Cheese.

58:44>> I think Chuck-E-Cheese has great pizza,

58:45by the way.

58:46>> Chuck-E-Cheese. No, they don't. No, they

58:48don't. Do they have great pizza? I

58:49haven't been there since I was seven.

58:51>> For real?

58:52>> Oh, Chuck-e-Cheese. I have no idea.

58:53Amazing pizza.

58:54>> I haven't been there in You got to go.

58:55There's I think there's one in your

58:56town.

58:56>> There is one in my town. I thought I had

58:58to take children in there. I didn't

58:59think you were just allowed to go by

59:00yourself.

59:01>> You want to come with my kids?

59:01>> Yes.

59:02>> I I really am going to take my I haven't

59:03been with my girls yet, but I'm going to

59:04take my two

59:05>> sign up. We had a blast. Yeah,

59:07>> let's do it. I'm in.

59:09>> Yeah,

59:09>> I love that. I'll get in the ball pit.

59:11No, I won't. That's gross. All right,

59:12one more question. One more question

59:14here from our chat.

Thanks For Watching Fantasy Focus!/Kingston Flemings Interview

59:15>> Oh, just kidding. That was it.

59:17>> We have a chat, though.

59:18>> We do have a chat. Thanks for hanging

59:19out with everybody.

59:20>> We have a chat as in a chat with

59:21Kingston Flemings.

59:22>> That's right. Kingston Fleming is going

59:24to take over here. Field and Kingston

59:25Flemings. Don't forget to hang out with

59:26us though on Sunday, guys. Don't forget

59:28to love each other and be kind to

59:29yourself. You deserve it. Have fun with

59:31Field and Kingston and we'll see you

59:33guys on Sunday morning on FFC.

59:34>> See y'all.

59:36It's great to be joined by new friend of

59:39the program here, the eighth overall

59:41pick of the 2026 NBA draft, the newest

59:44Atlanta Hawk, Kingston Flemings, proud

59:47former University of Houston Cougar, and

59:50from what I am told, a fantasy football

59:53afficionado. Tell me about your love for

59:55fantasy football.

59:56>> Yeah. Uh, yeah, thank y'all for having

59:58me for sure. But I've been playing

1:00:00fantasy football probably since like

1:00:02maybe third grade. I used to play with

1:00:05>> I used to play with my uh my friend's

1:00:06dad who was my coach growing up, Coach

1:00:08Cody. We used to always uh cuz he was a

1:00:10high school coach. So, we would go up in

1:00:12the summer and on his computers at at my

1:00:14at my high school that I went to. We

1:00:16would draft on those computers and we

1:00:18would always play. So, that's when we

1:00:19used to play back then, but I just

1:00:22continued playing throughout the years.

1:00:23I play with my friends, some of the team

1:00:24now, so I've been on it. Is is it a I

1:00:27mean you're you're very new to the

1:00:28Atlanta Hawks here, but obviously the

1:00:30football season, the one that we are

1:00:32currently in, started after you got

1:00:34drafted. Is there a Hawks league or is

1:00:36there an NBA players league for fantasy

1:00:38football?

1:00:39>> Yeah, we do have some players on the

1:00:40team uh actually in the league. We have

1:00:42like eight of us. Uh we we started like

1:00:44we started like late notice kind of, but

1:00:46we have eight of us. So, it's it's going

1:00:47pretty good so far.

1:00:48>> All right. Eight team leagues are fun.

1:00:49You know, everybody's got everybody

1:00:51should have a good squad with only eight

1:00:53teams, but a lot of highscoring affairs

1:00:55as well. So, you started all the way

1:00:57back in third grade. Do you have any

1:00:59memory of some of the first players that

1:01:01you drafted in fantasy football that

1:01:03really came through for you?

1:01:04>> Let me see. Um,

1:01:08that really came through. I used to

1:01:10always remember like I remember when I

1:01:11was younger I always remember like that

1:01:13QB I remember some my one of my uh my

1:01:16friends dad would always pick Tom Brady

1:01:17first

1:01:19>> back then

1:01:20>> someone that really really did go for me

1:01:22Kelsey Kelsey was always good I always

1:01:24try to have him on my teams when I could

1:01:26I mean just having tight end advantage

1:01:27is always good

1:01:29>> uh a player growing up I can't I can't

1:01:31remember exact player but I was

1:01:33>> maybe on Bell maybe I'm thinking about

1:01:34some of the guys in a decade or so

1:01:36>> I I had AB one year I had AB I had

1:01:39Antonio Brown. I didn't have Olivon

1:01:41Bell, I don't think. I think my friend

1:01:43actually had him the year when he was on

1:01:44the Jets and I think he was supposed to

1:01:46be really good, but he didn't play

1:01:48>> that year. So, yeah,

1:01:50>> that was a fantasy nightmare right

1:01:52there. Uh, do you So, your fantasy

1:01:53football passion, is it because you love

1:01:56football or do you think or or were you

1:01:58sort of just an average football fan who

1:02:00kind of caught the bug once fantasy

1:02:02football came into your life?

1:02:03>> No, I love football, too. I'd say I

1:02:05really got into football. I used to play

1:02:06Madden a lot. I still play it a lot. So

1:02:09>> played Madden and like 2014 from 2015

1:02:12the best team was the Seahawks. So when

1:02:14I was a kid I watching the Legion of

1:02:16Boom. So that that was my team. That was

1:02:18my squad. And from then on I always like

1:02:20watching football. Always like playing

1:02:22fantasy football. So yeah.

1:02:23>> I was going to say you're a Texas native

1:02:25but you're a Seahawks fan from what I

1:02:27understand. Uh and it's a good time to

1:02:29be a Seahawks fan right now. What was

1:02:31last season like for you? I mean that

1:02:32was an unbelievable run for them.

1:02:34Certainly not one that a lot of people

1:02:36were expecting. Yeah, I remember the the

1:02:38Super Bowl game. We were actually

1:02:39playing I think we were about to play

1:02:41BYU at Houston. We probably play BYU or

1:02:43Utah. I can't remember exactly was. But

1:02:45if you would have asked me before the

1:02:46season if we would have won the

1:02:47championship, I probably would have said

1:02:48no. I knew we were going to be like

1:02:50competing like be in the playoffs. We're

1:02:51always a pretty good competitive team.

1:02:53But Mike McDonald, he's changed the

1:02:55changed the team around. So, it's been

1:02:57good.

1:02:58>> Uh this season, they're two and one

1:02:59obviously, but for fantasy purposes, JSN

1:03:02has been ridiculous. Uh, do you have any

1:03:04JSN on any of your rosters this year in

1:03:06fantasy?

1:03:07>> Yeah, I have him in my my my league with

1:03:10my friends. I have JSN. So, I mean, he's

1:03:12definitely been killing like crazy.

1:03:14Going crazy, but in my other on my other

1:03:16teams, I don't really have any. I had a

1:03:18little bit of Jerry on Price.

1:03:19>> Yeah.

1:03:20>> Um, those are the only really two guys I

1:03:22have on those teams. So, yeah.

1:03:23>> Yeah, we got to get Price going a little

1:03:25bit. He's got a whole lot of the

1:03:26football, you know, he's got to hold on

1:03:27the ball. He's got to find a way to pick

1:03:29up some more yards on the ground as

1:03:31well. I I am optimistic he'll eventually

1:03:33uh find his footing here. Uh I was

1:03:35wondering so you know obviously having

1:03:37played a season at Houston there were

1:03:38probably some Sundays you kind of just

1:03:39alluded to it where you've got a game of

1:03:42your own or you're coming back from a

1:03:43late game on Saturday night traveling

1:03:45back. I want to hear about the mechanics

1:03:47of how you get ready for your fantasy

1:03:49football lineup. If we're tipping off

1:03:51for a Sunday game at 2 pm Eastern time

1:03:55wherever you are locally like how are we

1:03:57getting ready for fantasy football? Are

1:03:59you going to have somebody on the ready

1:04:00in case there is a late injury scratch

1:04:03that impacts your fantasy lineup that

1:04:05you can't get to because you're getting

1:04:06rid of the hoop?

1:04:08>> Yeah. So, for me, I'm I'm really like

1:04:09tapped into it. So, we would never

1:04:11really play on Sundays. The most we

1:04:13would have is we play Saturday and then

1:04:14maybe Monday if it was a big Monday

1:04:15game.

1:04:16>> But, I'm super tapped in. So, I'm kind

1:04:18of super locked into all the injuries,

1:04:20all things like that. Like I I follow

1:04:22injury doctor on uh Instagram.

1:04:24>> Uh so, I'm I'm all locked in on that. So

1:04:26I haven't really had any like big scares

1:04:29and like so I'm looking at what's the

1:04:31weather for the games like what the

1:04:34players are. So yeah really I mean I I'm

1:04:37usually I wake up pretty early on on

1:04:39weekends too. Probably latest I'll

1:04:41probably wake up is 9:30 10. So I'm

1:04:43still up in time for the game and I'm

1:04:44getting ready and then it's football

1:04:46weekend.

1:04:47>> And we got our first uh international

1:04:49game this upcoming weekend. So we got to

1:04:50remind people especially on the west

1:04:52coast get those lineups set before you

1:04:53go to bed on Sunday night. Uh do you

1:04:56have any memorable sort of uh whether

1:04:58it's championship wins or just memorable

1:05:00wins I guess or defeats in fantasy

1:05:02football that stick with you forever?

1:05:04Like I I was down 35 going into Monday

1:05:07Night Football and I overcame this or

1:05:09maybe I was up 35 and I got the other

1:05:11side of that miracle. The most memorable

1:05:14one for me was I don't know if this was

1:05:16LA I think it's probably been two years

1:05:18ago

1:05:19>> but I was in so it was fantasy playoffs

1:05:23and I was playing and I had DVO Samuel

1:05:24on my team and this is the game Brock Py

1:05:27threw four interceptions versus the

1:05:28Lions.

1:05:28>> Oh yeah

1:05:29>> and I it was like me and the player I

1:05:32was playing with in the playoffs. We

1:05:33both had a bad game. I think I lost by

1:05:34like.5 points but Brock Purley threw a

1:05:38pass to DO Samuel and D. Samuel catches

1:05:40a lot of screen passes. He and I'm

1:05:42watching the game. He throws the screen

1:05:43pass and I'm like, "Oh, I won off PPR."

1:05:46>> They counted it as a rush because he was

1:05:48either thrown back or something like

1:05:50that.

1:05:50>> If he if he just would have if they

1:05:52would have counted it as a catch, I

1:05:53would have won that. And then based on

1:05:55how I did the next week, I would have

1:05:56won the championship. But that's

1:05:58definitely the craziest one that stuck

1:06:00with me for sure, that Debo Samuel game

1:06:01with with Vertie. Yeah,

1:06:03>> I'm not ashamed to admit that there have

1:06:05been a couple times where I have emailed

1:06:07the NFL league office about a potential

1:06:09scoring change where I was convinced

1:06:11that my guy caught a pass rather than a

1:06:13lateral and got that extra PPR points.

1:06:16But,

1:06:16>> uh, this game is, you know, I think

1:06:18sometimes I think about fantasy football

1:06:19like golf. It's, you know, if you're a

1:06:22good golfer, you're motivated by the bad

1:06:25shots you make to overcome those the

1:06:27next round. If you're a bad golfer,

1:06:28you're like, "Well, I did have those

1:06:30five holes where I played okay, and I'm

1:06:32going to come back for more." Fantasy

1:06:33football, the heartbreak can fuel your

1:06:35next victory. How many leagues you in

1:06:37this year? I know you are in our ESPN

1:06:39Elite Knockout League, which obviously

1:06:42started at 18. We're down to 15 now with

1:06:45three teams knocked out, but how many

1:06:46total leagues were you?

1:06:48>> I'm in

1:06:50three total. So, I'm in the ESPN one,

1:06:52I'm in one with the Hawks, and then I'm

1:06:53one of my with my friends back at

1:06:55hometown.

1:06:56>> Okay. And are you a commissioner in any

1:06:58of those either those two sides?

1:07:00>> Yeah, I'm a commissioner in one of my

1:07:02friends back home. I shouldn't be the

1:07:04commissioner. I'm never usually the

1:07:05commissioner ever, but this last year,

1:07:07one of my friends was messing up with

1:07:09it, so we kind of had to switch and I

1:07:10end up like getting it. I hate being a

1:07:12commissioner, but I am in that in that

1:07:13league.

1:07:14>> So, you're 19. Like, I'm going to go

1:07:16ahead and guess that your friends back

1:07:18home are a little less busy than an NBA

1:07:21player. Like, can somebody step up for

1:07:23you right now? like you kind of have a

1:07:24few things on your plate at this moment.

1:07:26>> I mean, definitely. I mean, we literally

1:07:28have a friend in our group chat that's

1:07:30always the commissioner, and this is the

1:07:31one year he wasn't. So, I mean, didn't

1:07:32do his job. He didn't do his job.

1:07:34>> Well, you know what? Here's I'm

1:07:36interpreting it that information this

1:07:38way. You're a leader. You're a leader

1:07:39despite your age. And Hawks fan should

1:07:41be excited about that. Uh, are there any

1:07:44Have Have you ever played in a league

1:07:46with a crazy rule or a crazy punishment

1:07:50that you think the world needs to know

1:07:52about?

1:07:53Let me see. A crazy rule. Um,

1:07:59>> I know a league where they take away 100

1:08:02points if your kicker misses an extra

1:08:05point.

1:08:06>> I I saw a league where like if if a guy

1:08:08does a back flip, they get 100 points or

1:08:10something like that, too. Those are

1:08:11crazy ones. I could never do that. So,

1:08:13like Cam Scot will one of the greatest

1:08:15players, but I couldn't do that cuz I

1:08:17feel like I would just be mad if I lost

1:08:19the whole week over one thing like that.

1:08:20So, I don't have any crazy things like

1:08:22that that we've done. No, not really.

1:08:25>> Okay. Well, you know, there's something

1:08:26to be said about just like kind of

1:08:27keeping it straight and to the point.

1:08:29It's also like the NCAA tournament. I

1:08:31know we're about to maybe expand from 68

1:08:33teams to more, but the NCAA tournament

1:08:35as it is is pretty darn fun to me. We'll

1:08:38get you out of here on this. Uh, any NFL

1:08:40players that you just love watching on

1:08:42Sundays, whether it's because of their

1:08:43fantasy prowess or otherwise? Uh, I

1:08:46mean, obviously Seahawks guys, JSN, Sam

1:08:49Don has been hooping for us. Uh, I like

1:08:51Jordan Tyson a lot, so I hope he comes

1:08:53back from his hamstring injury and he's

1:08:55good with it. And three guys who helped

1:08:58me a lot. So, Kenneth Walker a few years

1:09:00back, I picked him up off waiverss and

1:09:02he killed for me and I was super sad the

1:09:04Seahawks let him go, but I mean, he's

1:09:06killing with the Chiefs, so it's a
