0:01>> You're in the 0610.
0:04Focus.
0:06Fantasy.
0:09Fantasy. Focus.
0:15You offered me Bryce Young and my Kai
0:18Lemon for Jamar Chase with a note that
0:21says, "This helps you more than it helps
0:24me."
0:26You trying to deceive me?
0:29>> No. No, I'm not trying to deceive you.
0:32Why would I try and deceive you?
0:34I'm engaging with you as a human being.
0:38Why would I deceive you?
0:41There's no
0:44there's no reason for that.
0:47Okay.
0:49All right.
0:52All right. Good chat.
1:01You're being real right now.
1:04>> I'm always being real, Michael.
1:32What's up friends? Welcome into Fantasy
1:34Focus Football alongside Field Jates and
1:36Mike Clay. I
1:37>> watch that movie.
1:38>> That sounds like you know what? If you
1:39just watched our cold open, Mike and I
1:41had so much fun doing that. I want to
1:42give Mike so many props. He wrote that
1:44entire thing. Obviously, it's a it's a
1:45big Yeah.
1:47>> But he wrote the entire thing was like,
1:48"Daniel, I got a great idea. Let's do
1:50this." It came out fantastic, man. Bravo
1:52to you. like you crushed it. Thank you
1:53for that.
1:53>> Presley, you're you're acting. You're
1:55going to win the Emmy. We know that.
1:56>> Dave shot it and was awesome.
1:58>> Edit it. Yeah. Awesome. So, I'm just the
2:00idea man. But, uh,
2:01>> it was a ton of fun.
2:02>> That was fun. We're going to we're going
2:03to try and do more of those. But, uh,
2:04>> do you guys remember when Payton Manning
2:06hosted SNL for the first time? And
2:08people are like, did this guy really
2:10need to waste 18 years of his life
2:12playing football when he could have been
2:13acting the entire time?
2:14>> Commercials, too. Sometimes he does
2:15subtle things. I'm like, he's so good at
2:16that.
2:17>> I say that because I'm wondering whether
2:18you guys maybe are wasting your time
2:20doing fantasy.
2:21>> No, you're right. I'll write this guy.
2:22>> That was your right. That was your role
2:24right there.
2:24>> No, you pan right down. That was so
2:26good. That is true. If I do anything, I
2:28I would do that.
2:29>> If tomorrow this becomes the Field Yates
2:30Fantasy Focus Variety Hour because you
2:32guys are like recruited by some
2:34gigantic, you know, film director. I be
2:37surprised.
2:37>> The theme there was like a trade
2:39obviously and there's a little Easter
2:40egg in there. I don't know how many
2:41people caught this, but it says the
2:43movie releases 122. That's your trade
2:45deadline in ESPN Fantasy League. So
2:48>> nice. Well done. Yeah, that's going to
2:49be like the most most watched movie SL
2:51documentary.
2:52>> The first of first of many Only Dance
2:54productions. I'm sure we're going to
2:55have even some more coming out, guys. We
2:57got more. But let's dive into
2:59>> Yeah, we have uh 57 minutes left and
3:01we're just going to talk ball now.
3:03>> A lot to get to.
Chargers vs. Bills
3:04>> Lot of football here in week three.
3:06We're going to do the Monday Night
3:06Football preview. Dive into our week
3:08three recap field. We're going to start
3:09with you Chargers and Bills.
3:11>> Yeah. For the first time all season,
3:12Josh Allen wasn't the best player on
3:14your fantasy roster. 17.46 fantasy
3:16points. Not the most interesting thing
3:18for the Bills for me. There were two
3:20things. First of all, Dalton Concincaid
3:21finally comes back down to earth. He
3:23played 54% of the snaps. He had played
3:2672% in the first two weeks. Now, he got
3:28banged up at one point did Daltton
3:30Concincaid. I don't think it's anything
3:32serious or of note, but he saw just
3:34three targets. So, all the optimism we
3:36saw in the first two weeks kind of came
3:38back down to earth for Concaid. This
3:40just in. He plays tight end. There
3:41aren't a bunch of options. My confidence
3:44definitely reduced a little bit compared
3:45to the first two weeks, but not enough
3:47that I don't think that Doulson Concade
3:48is a viable starter going forward.
3:50>> Yeah, just keep in mind DJ Moore led a
3:52team with 22 routes run conc 26 pass
3:55attempts. So still very involved when
3:56they're throwing the ball. That's huge.
3:57>> And DJ Moore had 17 of Josh Allen's 26
4:01targets yesterday. I thought the most
4:02interesting thing from this game though
4:04was that James for the Bills.
4:06>> What did you just say?
4:07>> You said 17 of his 26 target.
4:09>> Still a big number though.
4:10>> How I got the 17. I'm glad that Mike and
4:12I both like we
4:13>> I thought he heard it too. That's why I
4:14looked at you.
4:14>> You know what it is? I'm still I'm still
4:16hung up from that that great
4:17documentary.
4:18>> That's why I appreciate it, Phil.
4:19>> Uh 10 of his 26 targets did DJ Moore. He
4:22has been really steady through the first
4:23three weeks and obviously played through
4:24an injury. He had that week two injury,
4:26but week one and week three he was
4:27really steady is DJ Moore. Um James Cook
4:30ends up with 19.4 fantasy points, 154
4:33rushing yards. He's now third pending
4:35Monday Night Football in the NFL in
4:37rushing yards. Are you frustrated
4:39though?
4:39>> No, I'm not frustrated. But I would just
4:41say that one thing that was fed to us
4:42this season, this preseason, that
4:44definitely hasn't come to light is that
4:45James Cook is not a factor in the past.
4:46>> Not buying that. Not at all. Yeah. Tai
4:48Johnson came back four targets in this
4:50one. He's not and he's been out the
4:52first two weeks soon and it still didn't
4:53really affect Cook very much. It did a
4:54little bit, but not much. Yeah, that's a
4:56that's a
4:57>> I don't want to say a problem because
4:58you know he's going to produce on the
4:59ground so he'll be okay, but his ceiling
5:01is a little bit limited compared to
5:02those other guys.
5:03>> He is a little bit more. He's he's like
5:04Dererick Henry. He's just not the
5:06stature of Derrick Henry, but the elite
5:07rushing opportunities are there for
5:09James Cook. four catches through three
5:10games for James Cook. Uh we can be brief
5:12on the Chargers because honestly I don't
5:14want to talk about them anymore. Uh
5:16Justin Herbert under 13 fantasy points.
5:18They play Seattle next week. Um of the
5:20Chargers right now,
5:22>> how many of these players deserve
5:25without question to be in your lineup
5:27every single week?
5:28>> I mean, I'm I'm still gonna go with Lad
5:30Mc u I almost said McDon.
5:32>> I can't even say it's bad. It is bad
5:34McDonkey right now. He still went four
5:36for 66 in this one, so I'm gonna stick
5:38with him. And I think Omar and Hampton
5:40although same thing with James Cook. I
5:41mean he's in he's almost at zero in the
5:43passing game this year. It's a big
5:45problem.
5:45>> It is a bigger problem. He only ran six
5:47routes. Keaton Mitchell had the
5:48touchdown yesterday. So he has 13.7
5:50points.
5:51>> Mitchell's linear. So his receiving
5:53line, what was his receiving line?
5:54>> Three catches for three catches for
5:56negative five yards. It's very Mai
5:57Lemon.
5:58>> Three catches negative five yards and a
5:59touchdown.
5:59>> But the touchdown was impressive. Had to
6:01get around. He showed his speed. Yeah.
6:03Oh, that like the little bunts from the
6:05quarterbacks where Justin Herbert does
6:07get his only touchdown of the day there.
6:09Um, how about this?
6:10>> Aronda Gatston felt like he was in a
6:12really good spot, right? There were no
6:14healthy tight ends basically for the
6:15Chargers.
6:16>> 26 routes. He missed much.
6:17>> 26 routes. Um, he had uh Yeah, he had
6:19zero points.
6:20>> Oh, okay. Zero.
6:21>> He did, if you're looking for some
6:22optimism, have a drop on one of his
6:24three targets. He almost had like three
6:26fantasy points. Uh we we really and I
6:29mean really need tight end options to
6:31emerge on the waiverwire because it's so
6:33thin as it is. Uh the answer for Ronda
6:36Gadson in the first opportunity to be
6:38the guy is no. No, no. So I don't I
6:41don't know, man. Like you can I think
6:43you're right. I think Omarian Hampton's
6:44going to be inside our top 25 for next
6:47week amongst running backs even in a bad
6:49matchup against the Seahawks. Um three
6:52weeks is not enough to define a season,
6:53but it's getting dangerously close for
6:55the Chargers here. And the how's the
6:57schedule the next two months terrible
6:59about that. Yeah. The Seahawks next
7:01week. The hardest schedule.
7:02>> It's over. It's out on Justin Herbert. I
7:04want to apologize to America. Awful.
7:06Terrible. I can't believe I thought this
7:08guy would be as good as he potentially
7:10could be. I don't understand what on
7:12earth is happening. I'm so frustrated
7:14that I am relegated to just folding
7:16papers in my hands because it's the only
7:18way to contain my frustration.
7:19Otherwise, guys, Mike McDaniel, what on
7:21earth has this guy done to supercharge
7:22the offense? I miss Greg Roman. I I
7:25swear I do. They were better. Yeah, the
7:27Chargers as as a team were certainly
7:29better.
7:29>> They were better. And like, by the way,
7:32>> the freaking kicker isn't even good
7:33anymore. Cameron Dicker, who not only
7:36did he kick a ton of field goals, but
7:37never misses a 45 yard yesterday. He
7:41missed a 58 yard last week. I'll give
7:43that a pass.
7:44>> But the freaking kicker isn't even good.
7:46I have a friend in a league who it's
7:48it's a league of my wife and I, we
7:49there's 12 of us. It's six couples. And
7:51one of the people in the league thinks
7:52it's funny that his name is Cameron
7:53Dicker the kicker, right? So she
7:55prioritizes drafting him every year.
7:56It's very whatever. It's her thing. I
7:58had to break the news story yesterday
7:59that I was like, I'm sorry, but your
8:00kicker now sucks. Like I'm sorry.
8:03>> Does she know that legally his name
8:05isn't Cameron Dicker the kicker though?
8:06>> We told her it's Cameron Dicker the
8:08kicker. Got it. That's what it is. But
8:09whatever. It's it's
8:10>> honestly. So we're gonna like Omarian
8:13Hampton has gone from being a potential
8:15high low-end RB1, high-end RB2 to a
8:17low-end RB2, maybe a flex option.
8:19>> Yeah. Vlad Makoni is probably more of a
8:21high-end flex than a wide receiver too
8:23at this point or maybe even a you know
8:25just a regular flex. Maybe not even a
8:26high-end flex and then we're out on
8:28Justin Herbert not starting this week.
8:29>> Yeah.
8:30>> Yeah. We'll uh we'll see what the
8:31rankings look like on Wednesday. But for
8:33now it's not great, guys.
8:34>> It's bad. It is so bad.
8:36>> Yeah. Let's talk about just Lions next
Jets vs. Lions
8:37one up, my friends. Lions try to give
8:39this one away. I'll tell you what, Jir
8:41Gibbs is so good at football. If you use
8:43the 1.01 pick on him, he continues to do
8:46the thing. 20 carries, 99 yards, two
8:49touchdowns, plus eight targets in the
8:51passing game, seven catches for 65
8:53yards, and another touchdown, my
8:55friends. Unbelievable
8:58>> what this guy has been able to do. And
9:00honestly, he kind of took the the sizzle
9:02away from everybody because in this one,
9:04it really was just him. Yeah,
9:05>> it was just Jir Gibbs. Jared Goff had
9:0819.3 fantasy points. Like, great for him
9:10as like a fill-in quarterback
9:11>> doing what he did. But Aman Rah does
9:13>> got lucky with the touchdown. Being able
9:15to get 11.9 points, that's a
9:17disappointing number for Aman Raw St.
9:19Brown. But also,
9:20>> if your floor of a disappointing game is
9:2211.9 fantasy points, that means you're
9:24doing pretty well.
9:24>> That is basically his floor. So,
9:26>> he has five touchdowns in three games.
9:28He's second in the league in targets.
9:29Second in the amongst wide receivers in
9:31fantasy points.
9:32>> Sam Laaporta only four targets in this
9:34one. A little bit of a disappointment.
9:35And J Mo back-to-back games with only
9:37four targets as well.
9:39>> We're going to do a segment hopefully at
9:40some point this week. It's a fish or cut
9:42bait segment and it's basically going to
9:43be players that came into this season as
9:46likely lineup options. Maybe not locks,
9:48but lineup options. And we're going to
9:50decide whether after three bad weeks
9:51there is any room for optimism. Jameson
9:54Williams featured in one of them that
9:56discussion.
9:57>> He's a huge point per target kind of
9:58guy. He can take any like that's the
10:00thing with him, right? He'll do it, you
10:01know, quickly.
10:02>> Boom bust, but it's been bus so far.
10:04Correct. We got to figure this.
10:05>> So, I'm not really sure he's the flex
10:06option that we thought he was. Uh Lions
10:08get the Panthers brought us in week four
10:10>> for the Jets.
10:12>> Bree Hall got banged up in this one
10:14unfortunately groin injury. Bummed about
10:16that. Didn't look good. Second week in a
10:18row. This is sort of the Bruce Hall
10:19story though, right? Where he was very
10:21inefficient with his carries. 13 for 32,
10:242.5 yards per carry, three catches for
10:2623 yards unfortunately left in the
10:28fourth. This became a game in which the
10:29Jets just had to throw a bunch. And it
10:31looked like Gino Smith became the
10:33serviceable old man that Mike thought he
10:35was going to be. He crushed it.
10:36>> Son of a biscuit. you.
10:37>> Yeah, I think what I saw from Gino Smith
10:39is that what you if you need something
10:40from him later on this season as a
10:42by-week fillin.
10:44>> Okay, finish thoughts.
10:45>> He's a potential by-week fillin based on
10:47the matchup that you potentially have
10:48when you see that it's a nice matchup.
10:50You love that. Garrett Wilson 10 for 107
10:52and a touchdown on 13 targets. Field
10:54still isn't in on Gino Smith.
10:56>> I my bigger takeaway is that Bryce Young
10:59is going to be ranked extremely high in
11:00my quarterback rankings in week four.
11:02>> I'm sorry. Your lines are just
11:05>> atrocious defensively. can't stop
11:06anybody. They came into this game
11:08allowing the most fantasy points to
11:10opposing quarterbacks and tight ends,
11:12second most to wide receivers.
11:14>> Those might somehow get worse this week.
11:15>> They allowed
11:16>> 23 fantasy points to Tyler Shuck, 40
11:19fantasy points to Josh Allen, and now 26
11:21fantasy points to Gino Smith.
11:23>> And keep in mind that Gino, as you know,
11:25very popular in DFS yesterday. I think
11:27you even talked about him as a sleeper
11:29to be a streaming option last week. So
11:31again, back to Earth next week for Gino.
11:34like this is something the Lions
11:36>> because of the matchup. Yeah.
11:37>> They play uh the Bears next week which
11:39>> Bears which well match up you know but
11:42he's a to your point maybe a streamer
11:44occasionally where they
11:45>> in a nice matchup. That's all I want.
11:48That's is probably as far as
11:49>> correct and also with no AD Mitchell no
11:51Mason Taylor. Kenyan Sadi looked
11:52unbelievable. At least someone that you
11:54need to keep an eye on. I'm going to be
11:55adding him. Yeah. In waiverss. He will
11:57be a popular waiver target here with the
11:59talent that he has now.
12:00>> As will Brilan Allen by the way as as
12:02you mentioned before.
12:02>> Correct. With Bruce Hall. We'll see what
12:03happens.
12:04>> All like there is a pretty clear next
12:05man up for the Jets in the back field.
12:07It's Railen Allen. So, we'll see if we
12:09get any updates on Bree Hall today from
12:11Aaron Glenn, but either way, Brillin
12:13Allen's going to be added a lot this
12:14>> Yeah, Isaiah Davis had no touches prior
12:17in the game. So, he touches before or
12:19after this injury, which was late. Uh,
12:21yeah, Hall could miss time. Garrett
12:22Wilson left the game, but it seems like
12:24he cleared concussion protocol if I
12:25understand correctly. So, should be good
12:27for next week. He had his breakout game.
12:29We got what we wanted here. 13 targets,
12:3110 c 10 10 catches, 107 yards, and a
12:34touchdown of his own. So, it was good to
12:35see him be featured. Uh, obviously good
12:38matchup here for him, but um, all
12:40systems go for Wilson.
12:41>> Yeah, I think the question on the Jets,
12:43what we saw yesterday, all the positive
12:44stuff, is just how much of that was
12:46about the Jets and making real strides
12:48offensively versus how much of that was
12:50the Jets facing what is I I feel like
12:53the worst fantasy defense in the NFL,
12:55maybe the best fantasy defense. I will
12:56say it's a little bit of both in the
12:58sense that the Jets are not the Jets of
12:59last year or pri or maybe the last 30
13:01years. I don't know. Like they're
13:03better, but they're not an elite an
13:05elite offense by any means. They're not
13:06going to put numbers up like this. A
13:08little bit of both.
13:08>> That's why I'm not reading into it too
13:10much to say the Jets are all of a sudden
13:11this thing. But when you get a nice
13:12matchup like they had this week, it
13:14showed that they have the talent to be
13:15able to take advantage of that. So
13:16that's the part that I was I guess
13:18pleased by from a Jets perspective.
13:19>> Forecast. Bryce Young big time DFS play
13:22this upcoming week. Sunday Night
13:23Football in Carolina. That's right.
13:25Carolina versus Detroit. Thank you, Jir
13:28G. I just want to say thank you. We're
13:29living up 101.
Bengals vs. Steelers
13:32>> Bengals and Steelers field.
13:33>> That'll be me. Yes, the Bengals uh they
13:35fall short. The Steelers put up 30 and
13:36they win. What a weird game this was,
13:38right? The Steelers had there was a uh
13:40there some critical errors by the
13:42Bengals yesterday. They both had a
13:44personal foul on a punt, which
13:47>> I have a theory. This is very quick.
13:49>> I don't understand why teams rush the
13:50punter aggressively at all in the NFL.
13:52How many block punts we see a year?
13:54>> So worth it. Unless you're in
13:54desperation mode in the fourth quarter
13:56or something,
13:57>> you must have it. Otherwise, hold up and
13:58try to get a good return. The Bengals
14:00also muffed a punt. It doesn't matter
14:01for our purposes. What does matter is
14:03that they put up 27 points and it was a
14:05good day for three out of the four guys
14:07that matter in this Cincinnati offense,
14:09right? Joe Burrow, first quarterback to
14:11solve the Steelers in two games this
14:12season. Nearly 23 fantasy points for
14:14him. Uh Jamar Chase, nine for 98 and a
14:18touchdown. Ho hom for Jamar Chase.
14:20Back-to-back games with a touchdown. He
14:21had two in week two. He's awesome. Not
14:24much more to say there. Thigans does
14:26what he does every once in a while.
14:27>> Touchdown as well. Six for 90 and a
14:29touchdown there. Disappointing game for
14:31Chase Brown. Just 8.9 fantasy points.
14:34Mostly because he had only two catches
14:36for eight yards. I don't feel like I
14:38feel no differently about the Bengals
14:40out of this game as it did coming into
14:42this game. It's those four guys. You're
14:43probably starting each and every one of
14:45them. Miki might be the king of odd
14:48weeks. Week one, he was great. Week two,
14:50he had zero. Week three, 12.7 fantasy
14:53points. He also hit the grrey yesterday,
14:55but I am not starting. Mic too. Way too
14:58boom. Maybe the most boom bus player in
14:59in the game. I mean, yes, he's up there.
15:01>> I think there's a couple of teams that
15:02are like the Bengals that you mentioned
15:04today where it's like they are who we
15:05thought they were. We'll probably say
15:07that a couple times with the way that
15:08they looked.
15:08>> I love these wow stick tweets. Bengals
15:10losing. It was my fault cuz I went to a
15:12wedding.
15:13>> Oh man. Um yeah, the only thing I'd say
15:16on Chase Brown is uh definitely
15:17underwhelming so far, but he did that
15:19last year,
15:19>> the first like six weeks of the season,
15:21but his usage is still there. Not not
15:23worried about that one. Agreed.
15:24>> Um on the Steelers side, so D gets hurt
15:27uh or excuse me, inactive game, excuse
15:29me, inactive for this game. Remember, he
15:30got banged up last week. They have a
15:32short week to the Steelers, so that
15:33could be a multi-week thing. And it was
15:34a Jaylen Warren show. And did it ever
15:36pay off? Jaylen Warren played 78% of the
15:39snaps.
15:40>> He had four targets. Turn that into
15:41three catches for 49 yards. He had 17
15:44rushes for 127 yards. There also was a
15:47massive Jaylen Warren run. Called back
15:50because of a penalty. This day could
15:52have been even bigger. But this guy's
15:55just a really darn solid football
15:57player. It's just that Mike has
15:58highlighted how unfantasy friendly the
16:01Steelers are, or excuse me, Mike
16:04McCarthy's offenses are two running
16:06backs. And if Rico Dattle is back in the
16:09next couple weeks, this trends really
16:11close to a dead zone. Only thing that
16:12I'll say to speak out of both sides of
16:14my mouth,
16:15>> there's a long list of running back dead
16:17zones right now.
16:18>> More so than I am comfortable with.
16:19>> We're gonna get to another one that's
16:20developing here soon. Or it already was
16:22one. Now it's even more so one, but
16:24we'll get to that in a little bit.
16:25>> Um, for the Steelers pass catchers,
16:26yeah, DK Mechaf finally finds the end
16:28zone. Three for 31 and a touchdown.
16:30>> Got bailed out. DJ Turner shadowed him.
16:32>> Yeah, there's not a Steelers pass
16:35catcher that you want to be starting
16:36right now.
16:36>> No way.
16:36>> Not right now.
16:37>> Aaron Rogers did sort of turn back the
16:38clocks. They did look legitimately
16:40really good in the first half of this
16:42game,
16:43>> but we talk about fantasy football,
16:44right? Like the goal is to not like who
16:46cares about finishing third versus sixth
16:48versus 12th, right? You want to win,
16:50right?
16:50>> And the Steelers, as far as priority
16:53players are concerned, are not going to
16:56be starters amongst any of those pass
16:57catchers. The only guy in the Steelers
16:59offense that is startable for a league
17:01that you want to a a lineup that is
17:03actually optimized is a running back
17:05when the other one is hurt. Otherwise,
17:07Steelers are basically a stay away from
17:09me.
17:09>> Yeah,
17:10>> this is good.
17:11>> This is one of those situations where
17:12you know that Aaron Rogers, like he's
17:14going to have a glimpse of old Aaron
17:15Rodgers at some point this season. This
17:17was one of those games where he looked
17:18like vintage Aaron Rogers, but he's
17:20probably going to go back to the guy
17:21that we saw. I don't love the target
17:23share when you look at it. Jaylen Warren
17:24had four targets. Roman Wilson had six.
17:26DK Mechaf had five. Darnell Washington
17:28had four. Pat Fri had four. Michael
17:30Bitman had five. Like it it is he has
17:32just given it to a little bit of
17:33everybody. Yeah. And our guy that we
17:35were out on DK Metaf, Mike and I, coming
17:37into this season, we thought because of
17:39the short area, the the area yards as
17:41Field likes to talk about was gonna be
17:42the Michael Pitman show. Has not been
17:44that so far too. I mean, he was in
17:48practice all last week, so you would
17:49have thought he would have got rolling
17:50here, but maybe it's just not there yet.
17:52Roman Wilson had the hot start, caught
17:53the long touchdown, and then kind of
17:55>> disappeared shoulder.
17:56>> Yeah. So, but after I make him my Raheem
17:58Sanders pick, he scores a touchdown.
18:00>> Of course. Dang it. Of course, that
18:01happens. Oh, by the way, I mentioned the
18:03Jets. I said, "Hey, there are two other
18:05options that I want if my Raheem Sanders
18:07doesn't hit." One of them, Jeremy
18:08Rucker, tight end for the Jets. I should
18:10have taken him five for 39 in the
18:13touchdown.
18:14>> I took AJ Dylan instead. I should have
18:15taken Jeremy. Dang it.
18:17>> We'll talk about that in a bit. He
18:17barely played.
18:18>> I know. All right. Anyways, Chiefs
18:20Dolphins friends. Who wants to talk
18:22about the Chiefs and Dolphins?
18:23>> That would be me. Uh, big story here is
18:26something that happened early on in this
Chiefs vs. Lions
18:27game. Sadly, it hurt me. It avoided our
18:29board bet. Daniel
18:32out with an injury. It's knee related
18:34and it does not sound good according to
18:36the head coach. We're going to be
18:37looking at Olly Gordon on waiverss. Keep
18:39in mind that Jaylen Wright was inactive
18:42for this game. I would expect him to be
18:44pretty involved as well. We don't know
18:46exactly who the number two is going to
18:47be, but Olly Gordon didn't really steal
18:49the job by any means in this one. 17 for
18:5141 and a touchdown. Three catches on
18:53three targets for 14 yards. He'll be the
18:56priority for me just because he's the
18:57healthy one right now. Um, but also I'm
18:59not sure we're going out of our way to
19:00invest heavily in this Dolphins
19:02backfield. Um, what's unfortunate is
19:05Devon Chan came out strong, had a couple
19:07good plays. They finished that drive
19:08with a touchdown by Ollie Gordon. And
19:10you think what could have been for Han
19:11in this one, but obviously uh probably a
19:14long-term injury, could be season
19:15ending, but we don't know that for sure.
19:16>> I just want to like a little bit of
19:18grace to live in the moment because this
19:19isn't about the Devon Han injury. But as
19:22a fantasy manager, when you've had a
19:23disappointing player for the first two
19:25weeks of the season and then they
19:26unfortunately leave the game because
19:28they get hurt
19:29>> and then on that same drive, the
19:31position that he plays scores a
19:33touchdown. It hurts extra hard. Like
19:35it's just so frustrating. I don't know
19:38what you do about it, but I just if you
19:39if you were in that situation, please
19:41know that the rest of us were too.
19:43>> Yeah, I was uh very downtrodd
19:47it was such a nice run. Like man, this
19:49guy is so skilled. like he is one of the
19:51best players in the league. So,
19:52>> super disappointing. Obviously, we'll
19:54update you on that later this week.
19:56We're going to monitor Chris Bell as
19:58well. Uh, no Caleb Douglas in this one.
19:59He goes four for 67 on seven touchdowns.
20:01It's an end to bench guy for now. We're
20:02not starting him. Watch him. What did I
20:05say?
20:05>> Touchdowns. That would be a lot.
20:06>> That would be good. You should probably
20:09mixing up your numbers today. 17 Seven
20:11Seven T. Yeah, it's been uh it's been
20:13busy since yesterday.
20:14>> Seven targets, four catches, 67 yards.
20:16>> Chris Bell, draft pick.
20:18>> Uh, third round out of Louisville. What
20:19can you tell us about Chris Bell?
20:20>> Uh, he looks like AJ Brown in terms of
20:23stature. He tore his ACL in November. He
20:25tore his ACL one day after I put out a
20:28mock draft in which I had him going in
20:30the first round.
20:30>> Was that just popular? Were you on
20:33>> I would say I was like, you know, pretty
20:34much in line with where a lot of other
20:35people in the industry were.
20:36>> So, talent day later that he tears his
20:39ACL and ESPN kindly allowed me to they
20:42were like, let's just not have a guy who
20:43tore his ACL. It was he was it was pick
20:4632. Okay. So, it's an easy swap to make.
20:48Okay. Um he did have one explosive catch
20:51yesterday. So I would say that Miami is
20:53full of a lot of guys that are
20:54intriguing for Dynasty, but going
20:56forward assuming Devon Achan is out. 10
20:58team leagues. I don't think anybody
21:00cracks a lineup next.
21:01>> No, not right now. But Bell has the raw
21:03talent and the increasing role that
21:05maybe he's certainly worth a bench spot,
21:06I would say, but I won't go further in
21:08that. Uh Malik Willis efficiency has
21:10been great, but 210 passing yards. If we
21:12can keep getting him to 200, maybe
21:14somebody develops in that passing game,
21:15but nothing at the moment. Uh the other
21:18side kind of hoham for the Chiefs
21:19offense uh in the back field. Ken Walker
21:22the third just does it again. Guys 18
21:24for 70 and a touchdown and then two
21:26targets catches another touchdown as
21:28well. The guy is just a machine so far.
21:31Uh certainly a week toe top five maybe
21:33top three fantasy running back. So let's
21:35just keep that rolling. Uh nothing
21:36really to say about Mahomes and Kelsey.
21:38Kelsey finds the end zone again. Mahomes
21:40throws two touchdowns. They are what we
21:41thought they were going into the week.
21:43Mid-range to good uh starters at their
21:46island positions. I think the biggest
21:47note for me from this one was finally,
21:49finally, finally. Even in a low volume
21:51passing game, they featured Rasheed
21:53Rice. It seems like he's back. Ran 18
21:55routes, guys. He had nine targets,
21:57caught seven for 88 yards. That's good
21:59to see. I feel like he missed all that
22:01time and they've ramped him up the first
22:02few weeks of the season. I moved I moved
22:04him up in my rankings for next week.
22:06Bumped the target share back up where we
22:08think it should be. Not an average of
22:09where it's been. Uh that's a really good
22:11sign. I think at the worst he's a
22:12mid-range wide receiver, too, but
22:13trending up. to extrapolate that point
22:15to boost further optimism into it.
22:17Yesterday, Rashi Rice had four catches
22:19on balls thrown under five yards down
22:22the field. That was his bread and
22:23butter, right? Was basically an
22:24extension of the running game. Weeks one
22:26and two, he had two catches there.
22:28>> The Chiefs also had a play from the two
22:30yard line where Rashi Rice, it either
22:33got whistled right as the ball was
22:34snapped or it was whistled, you know,
22:37like it was either a delay of game or a
22:38timeout. But you saw what the Chiefs
22:40were about to do and they were about to
22:41do the push pass to Rashi Rice. Mhm.
22:43>> So, a day that was solid, 7 for 88,
22:46could have easily been 8 for 90 with a
22:48touchdown as well. And we might be
22:50saying to ourselves like, "Wow, is Rashi
22:52Rice back to being a top 15 wide
22:53receiver?" Not I'm not totally certain
22:55that's where he's going yet, but I'm
22:57with Mike. That was very encouraging to
22:58see.
22:59>> Also, this is the other side of the coin
23:01of you have to play everybody against
23:02Miami. Sometimes game script might go
23:04against some of the players you have.
23:06Kind of happened with Patrick Mahomes
23:08scored. I mean, it wasn't a bad game,
23:09but only scored 15.9 fantasy points cuz
23:12just didn't work out for him this week.
23:13>> The battle of the three and 0 teams next
23:14week, by the way, versus Raiders.
23:17>> I'm excited that the NFL is more fun
23:19when the Raiders are good. So, I'm
23:20excited for this one.
23:21>> They're like legitimately good.
23:22>> Yeah. And what's interesting is
23:24>> first overall pick in the draft. Hasn't
23:26even played it down yet. So,
23:27>> and he shouldn't for a while. That's
23:30fantastic.
23:30>> I have the way the projections are, I
23:31have every week already projected. So, I
23:33just have to keep bumping Mendoza's
23:35first start down the road. It's deeper
23:36and deeper. Is it, you know, until they
23:39if they fall to like four and eight,
23:40then it's a, you know, it's going to be
23:42a while, but that, you know, they're
23:43three and0 right now. What can you say?
23:45>> All right, let's do it.
23:45>> Let's talk about the next Sorry, the
Texans vs. Colts
23:47Texans and Colts is the next game here.
23:49AFC South, the Texans for the second
23:51straight year are now 0 and3 to start
23:54the season.
23:55>> This game wasn't fun.
23:56>> It wasn't. And until Nico Collins
23:58returns,
24:00>> I don't want to play.
24:01>> Are we sure you want to play a Tex? I I
24:02know that I keep saying that guys, but
24:04that I think is one of the early themes
24:06of fantasy football this year is that
24:08we've got like eight teams or 10 teams,
24:10Daniel, where nobody feels like the kind
24:13of guy you really want to be playing. I
24:14saw you raising your hand.
24:15>> Yes. I because I think that we're three
24:17weeks into it now going into week four.
24:19And after that first week at David
24:20Montgomery, I was, "Hey man, running
24:22back position is a position that you
24:23want to have a little bit of extra depth
24:24at." I'm not sure I would have moved on
24:26from him. After the first three weeks, I
24:27think you guys were absolutely right. He
24:29was a great sell high candidate for you
24:31in week one. Still, that running back
24:33position is tough. You're always looking
24:34for guys that are going to get volume,
24:35but him and Woody Marks both touch the
24:37ball and this offense looks so
24:39uninspiring that it doesn't feel like
24:41David Montgomery is the RB2 we were
24:43hoping he was going to be if you did
24:44keep him.
24:45>> He did have a two to one edge in rushes
24:47and he had a two to one edge, literally
24:49two to one in targets to Woody Marks.
24:51What did you have for snap percentage
24:52for Woody Marks? My number feels
24:54>> uh Woody Marks, let's see, I don't have
24:56it early.
24:56>> Monty was at 58.8. 65 for Montgomery.
25:00Oh. Oh, total snaps 33 to 18 edge to
25:02Montgomery. So, he did uh take an edge
25:04there, which is funny because, you know,
25:06we were getting criticized for saying he
25:07was a sell high after week one. You
25:09could almost argue he's a buy low now
25:11just two weeks later. So, the pendulum
25:13has gone the complete other direction.
25:14>> I don't want to play anyone from the
25:15Texans, though. If Nico Nico, they just
25:18don't look
25:18>> Yeah, Monty will still kind of be in
25:20that territory. They play the Cowboys,
25:21the battle of Texas next week. two teams
25:23combined for one win, but Monty kind of
25:26the only guy until Nico is back that
25:27we'll really be discussing. Daltton came
25:29back. Oh, go ahead.
25:30>> Oh, sorry.
25:31>> I was just gonna say
25:32>> looks good for next week. You said
25:33>> it looks it looks promising for next
25:34week for Nico. So, but we'll monitor
25:36that throughout the week.
25:37>> Um, by the way, if you guys ever hear
25:38any of us disagree with things like
25:40snaps or routes or targets on Monday
25:43morning show, we're all pulling from
25:46like there are a few different well-
25:47reggarded services that might be off a
25:49little bit. On top of that, some of
25:51these things are like updated throughout
25:52the day on Monday, like snap percentage
25:54especially. It's hard to track 11
25:56players in live time and data input,
25:59right?
25:59>> You'll have like nextg tracking and then
26:01they get cleaned up on Monday. So, but
26:02they're always going to be close. It's
26:03just uh you know,
26:04>> that's why I asked Mike what his snap
26:06percentage was on Woody Marsh because
26:07mine did not look good. Uh for the
26:09Colts, a dud for Jonathan Taylor. He's
26:11good for a couple of those each year
26:12because he's not a gigantic factor in
26:14the passing game. Just two catches for
26:16four yards. But if I told you 26 touches
26:19for 20, actually 25, but 26
26:22opportunities for Jonathan Taylor,
26:23you're signing up for that site. Yes.
26:25Unseen. Tyler Warren was a bright spot
26:27yesterday. He had 10 targets of Daniel
26:30Jones,
26:31>> 36 attempts, and he averaged again under
26:35six yards a catch. So the big plays are
26:37not there for Tyler Warren. But that
26:39volume is hard to argue with. And the
26:40clock was turned back once again. Old
26:43friend Keenan Allen. He's going to have
26:45a few of these games this year, right?
26:46three. Here's one of them.
26:47>> Y um Daniel Jones, I was thinking about
26:50this. He had 7.9 fantasy points. I I'm
26:52sorry to say this line again, but like
26:54wide receivers for the Colts. Josh DS is
26:56the closest to start a bowl for me. He
26:58had 11 of Jones 36uh targets, but I
27:02don't think there's anybody that is a
27:03lineup lock right now about the amongst
27:04the wide receivers. I wanted to mention
27:06Daniel Jones here for a minute though
27:08because he came into this year and there
27:09were some people that were asking like,
27:11"Hey, he was so good last year." Like,
27:12can Daniel Jones be one of those guys
27:15that no one talks about at quarterback
27:17all preseason? You look up after six
27:19games and he's quarterback 11 and
27:21rediscover some of the magic from last
27:23year.
27:23>> What got him to QB7 last year though,
27:25Field?
27:25>> Wait, it was his rushing upside. It
27:26>> was his rushing upside.
27:27>> How about this Daniel Jones yesterday,
27:29three rushes for five yards. I believe
27:31he had a fumble or two as well
27:33yesterday.
27:34>> Uh I I'm not sure, but the only thing
27:36I'll say is he wasn't he didn't run as
27:38much as we thought last year. In the
27:39past, rushing has been used, but the
27:41thing was the Colts, when he was
27:42healthy, were averaging like three and a
27:44half touchdowns per game, which was not
27:45something that they were going to
27:46sustain year-over-year,
27:48>> but that was a reason to say, okay, in a
27:5012 team league, maybe one of my last
27:51picks, take a shot just in case they
27:53come out. And you know what, honestly,
27:54last week, week two, where they put up
27:5530 points in that game. I mean,
27:57>> uh, so I I understand taking like he's
28:01basically free in draft, so I get that,
28:03but obviously has it has not come to
28:05fruition. He either needs to start
28:06running more or they need to start
28:08scoring at the rate they did last year.
28:09It's got to be one or the other and
28:11that's asking a lot.
28:12>> Well, uh, keep in mind they do play next
28:13weekend abroad international game. I
28:15think it's London. Uh, they play the
28:17Commanders next weekend. So, if ever
28:19there was a time for Daniel Jones to get
28:21on track, next week would be it.
28:23>> But for now, the Colts are a Jonathan
28:25Taylor and a Tyler Warren team. Man, I
28:28feel like we are just totally
28:29eliminating guys from team leagues. But
28:31it has been an inospicious start for
28:33many more players than we expected.
28:35>> Little bit of an inospicious start for
28:37the Washington Commanders. Did Marcus
28:39Mariota get a dub in this one, guys?
Seahawks vs. Commanders
28:42>> He did. That was uh one of the shockers.
28:44Seahawks coming AC all the way across
28:46the country. And a little bit of a trap
28:48game here, I guess, cuz Mariota steps in
28:49and gets the job done. They went 33
28:52>> 31. This was a fun game to keep an eye
28:54on. Mariota, we talked about him last
28:56week that this is going to be a
28:57streaming option. He adds a lot with his
28:58legs. He threw at least one passing
29:00touchdown in every game last year,
29:01averaged over 200 passing yards. This
29:03one a little short of 200 yards because
29:04he didn't have to throw it a lot. They
29:05were ahead throughout most of this one,
29:06but still tossed three touchdowns, only
29:0811 rushing yards. Again, when games are
29:10more competitive, he'll have a higher
29:12number in that department. So, we'll
29:13keep an eye on him as a streamer. Uh the
29:16best news though, got the ball to Terry
29:19McLaren.
29:20>> How great was McLaren yesterday.
29:21>> He was outstanding. He started slow
29:23again and I was getting nervous like
29:24here we go again, but nope. nine
29:25targets, six catches, 77 yards, and a
29:28touchdown. He's going up. Stefan Diggs,
29:30his playing time's gone up as Digs, but
29:32uh the production kind of came back to
29:34earth. Remember the two touchdown game
29:35last week, just four for 33 in this one,
29:38but we know this is Terry's offense and
29:40he showed that yesterday.
29:42>> Um I that's
29:44>> the only thing I want to say on the on
29:45the commanders is that it I actually
29:47felt like early in the game Jakori
29:49Kroski Meritt was running well. Yeah.
29:51And then at the end of the game, you're
29:52like, "Wow, 5.3 fantasy points."
29:54>> Yeah, no doubt. Uh he is handling a big
29:56bulk of the carries here, but again
29:57under two yards per carry and a
29:59non-factor in the passing game. He is a
30:013% target share exactly in all three
30:03games this season. And guess what guys,
30:05>> might be about to get worse because
30:07added to the 53man roster is our old
30:09friend Austin Eckler. That's right.
30:11>> Back with the commander. So remember he
30:12played a pretty sizable role years ago
30:14and then last year the first week and a
30:16half before he got injured. Um he won't
30:18have a huge role as a rusher. I would
30:20imagine I'm going to guess about 20% of
30:22the carries, but he'll have a role in
30:24the passing game. We know that's where
30:25he really excels. So, if this was
30:27already a dead zone, we were already not
30:29touching these guys. JCM, I was going to
30:30say before this news was arguably
30:32droppable. I know you're getting the
30:33carries, but if he's a zero in the
30:35passing game in this offense, it's like
30:37so hard to start him, but now with
30:39Eckler there, it's even more
30:40problematic. Going to take a quick pause
30:41here with some breaking news from Adam
30:43Shesterfield. Yeah, Devon Aan has
30:45suffered a torn ACL, which
30:48>> seemed like we were trending that way
30:49based off of the tone from Jeff Hafley
30:51last night. More to come on Ali Gordon
30:53and Jaylen Wright on tomorrow's waiver
30:55show. There was a point yesterday during
30:57the game
30:58>> where the Dolphins were without any
31:00healthy running backs on the on the
31:01field. Yeah,
31:02>> they were they were like they were it
31:03was a brief point Ali Gordon got back
31:05in, but they are thin at running back
31:07beyond Devon A Chant. Wow,
31:09>> that stinks. I was hoping he would
31:10>> Darqu Hunter will be next man up as
31:12well. Yeah, I actually like loved him as
31:14a prospect. I thought he would
31:15eventually beat Blake Corm out in LA,
31:16but that did not come to a fruition, but
31:18we'll we'll keep an eye on Yeah, again,
31:20we'll talk about them tomorrow, but so
31:21sad. I was hoping Han would kind of
31:23prove all the doubters wrong and that he
31:24can make it happen in this offense. But,
31:26uh, on to next year. The only silver
31:28lining, it's week three. Hopefully,
31:29he'll be 100% for week one next year in
31:32a better offense.
31:33>> Uh, back to the Seahawks. I was just
31:35talking about
31:35>> This is important.
31:36>> Yeah, I was talking Well, I was going to
31:38start with the running backs. Is that
31:39okay?
31:39>> This is important.
31:40>> Yeah. Oh, definitely. All right. I was
31:41making sure we were on the same. It's
31:43important to talk about JSN. It's
31:45important to
31:45>> What's the analogy?
31:46>> I I was I was worried there. I don't
31:48want I don't want to disappoint Field by
31:50talking about the That was my bad.
31:52>> This is really important.
31:53>> Oh man, that was scary. Uh I I just said
31:55we want to ignore the Washington running
31:57back room. Same thing in Seattle now.
31:59It's a
31:59>> It is a mess. Uh it was Look, Jenarian
32:02Price the first drive, you're like,
32:04"Okay, all right." He got all the
32:06action, got all the snaps, got three
32:08carries, then he fumbled, and then it
32:10was that was it. He ended up playing 17
32:12snaps in this game. Five carries for 15
32:14yards, one catch for seven yards, and
32:16three targets. Good.
32:18>> I was all in on Jadarian Price, as you
32:19guys know. I love Demensen RB, too. I
32:21love the situation. No one else in this
32:23back field has taken control over the
32:25first three weeks of
32:27>> correct. That's the problem. I thought
32:28it might be him with his draft pedigree
32:30and where he was at, it has not
32:31materialized.
32:33>> Go ahead.
32:34>> Just just to round that out, Emanuel
32:36Wilson ends up playing 24 snaps and nine
32:38carries in the game. and George Hani
32:39played 23 snaps. Helani very involved in
32:41the passing game. None of the other
32:43running backs are. Wilson's the lead
32:44rusher. So you have Wilson lead rusher,
32:47nothing in the passing game. You have
32:48Helani nothing in the run game. The
32:50primary pass catcher Jarian Price mixed
32:52in there somewhere. He still has the
32:54highest ceiling of the group, but it's
32:55just not happening. You cannot start any
32:57of these running backs. He's lost a
32:58fumble in two of their three games. In
33:00week one against the Patriots, he lost
33:01one as well. And I mentioned this I said
33:02this on social yesterday, but the
33:04>> the two big red flags for Jarian Price
33:07coming out of college. one, can he catch
33:09the ball? He had just six catches last
33:10year, but there was some way to excuse
33:12that they had Jeremiah Love on Right.
33:14Right.
33:14>> He fumbled way too much in college and
33:16that has followed him to the NFL. And we
33:18know that NFL coaches have very little
33:21tolerance for fumble ititis.
33:23>> And you know the I think the part that's
33:25really concerning for I mean there was
33:26already some indicators that were
33:28concerning including the Emanuel Wilson
33:30go to go carries he was getting prior to
33:32this. Yep.
33:32>> But the thing that's most concerning to
33:34me is that
33:35>> like it's not like the Seahawks are
33:37turning the keys over, handed the keys
33:38over to a good running back.
33:39>> No.
33:40>> Emanuel Wilson is just a plotter.
33:43>> Nine carries for 14 yards and they're
33:45like, you know what, we got to stick
33:46here because we just don't trust
33:48Jadarian Price. There are teams where
33:49it's like, I don't know, the Patriots
33:52Rand Steve is in bubbles. It's like,
33:53maybe you should be playing Travion
33:55Henderson anyways more, right? It's not
33:57like I they should be leaning on Emanuel
33:59Wilson.
34:00That was my whole thing this off season
34:01is George Hani and Emanuel Wilson.
34:03There's a first round pick. There's like
34:05what I saw after this game
34:07>> is I'm going to see if I have an open
34:09spot like an open IR. I'm going to see
34:11if Zach Char is available on
34:13>> We might want to talk about him on
34:14waiverss. Well, we'll keep an eye on his
34:15health. He's eligible to uh return after
34:17week four. So, a week away. Uh any place
34:21on IR before week one is eligible after
34:23week four. So, that's going to shake
34:24things up and we'll keep an eye on his
34:25health. But yeah, you're right. But once
34:27he comes back, Charbanet has a good shot
34:29to take control there. Um, just wrapping
34:31this one up. JSN two touchdowns in all
34:34three games so far. The guy is unreal.
34:3610 for a buck 30 buck 13. Two scores in
34:39this one. Uh, we got there. I was trying
34:41to be clever with my word play there,
34:43but I I couldn't.
34:44>> No, I just I just I'm laughing at the
34:46two touchdowns in every game.
34:47>> You can say you're laughing.
34:48>> I thought it was 132, but whatever.
34:49>> Isn't it two Is it two?
34:51>> I believe it's 132.
34:52>> Is it one? Okay, fair enough.
34:53>> Sorry.
34:53>> He's averaging two touchdowns per game.
34:55Correct. six total touchdowns, at least
34:57eight catches in every game, 120 yards
34:59in every game. It's ridiculous.
35:00>> You know, it's nice to see sometimes
35:01though when you have these quarterbacks
35:02that are protected by their defense and
35:04just have to not mess up and just
35:06>> they put up low numbers, but they win
35:08games. But sometimes they get an
35:09opportunity like Sam Darnold did
35:11yesterday where you're trailing. We'll
35:12see how good you really are. And you
35:13know what? He did pretty darn awesome.
35:15They didn't win, but 31 to 45, 379, four
35:18touchdowns. He'd have two picks, but he
35:19at least some guys just can't do it like
35:21he did it. like he he can step up when
35:23he has to throw the ball and when this
35:25uh or keep this team competitive at the
35:27very minimum. Uh again, didn't come
35:30>> didn't come up with it this time, but
35:31impressive coming off the injury.
35:33>> 11 passing touchdowns allowed by the
35:34Commanders so far this season. Three
35:36games. So, you know, the Commanders like
35:38the Lions, you're playing against them,
35:40you got a chance to really put up some
35:41big numbers.
35:42>> You know who wasn't awesome on Sunday
35:44and hasn't been?
35:45>> Oh, this one hurts. Drake May, guys.
Patriots vs. Jaguars
35:49Drake May. three straight games with
35:52singledigit fantasy points. I think even
35:55worse field than your Justin Herbert
35:57call is Drake May who we drafted as a
36:00top five quarterback has not even scored
36:0210 fantasy points in a single game this
36:04year.
36:04>> I mean maybe it's worse, but like Drake
36:07showed us last year that he can be an
36:08elite fantasy player.
36:10>> I I hear you. They're both
36:11disappointing. Drake May, I think I'm at
36:13the point, guys. Here we go. First three
36:15games of the season. and I've been
36:16leaning on him. But this year, we talked
36:18about coming into the season, this is
36:19more of a two quarterback year than
36:21ever. It feels like with us rostering a
36:22second quarterback, the way that they
36:23played, the way that we drafted, I'm out
36:26right now. When I get my week four
36:28rankings coming out, Drake May will not
36:30be ranked as a top 10 quarterback.
36:33>> So mean.
36:34>> Let's uh let's uh there's a tweet on the
36:37screen that was very funny. You guys
36:38should watch the YouTube feed in case
36:39you are not.
36:40>> Uh you guys are mean.
36:41>> Are you guys starting Drake May in week
36:43four or are you okay bing him?
36:44>> Absolutely not. No, they're playing like
36:47there was they're playing the Bills up
36:48and bought.
36:48>> Oh, right, right, right.
36:49>> Obviously, two tough matchups to begin
36:50the season. Yesterday was supposed to be
36:52a not difficult matchup on paper, at
36:54least in comparison to the Seahawks and
36:57the Steelers, who are two legitimate
36:58defenses.
37:01>> There's nothing about the eye test that
37:02suggests that Drake May should be your
37:03starting quarterback right now in
37:04fantasy. Part of the appeal for Drake
37:06May is like he's got elite rushing
37:08upside. He had a rushing touchdown that
37:09was called back because of penalty
37:11yesterday. He had four total carries
37:13though for 18 yards. Another lost
37:15fumble, a lost fumble where the ball was
37:17just in his hand and it just slipped
37:19right out. He had an awful, awful
37:22touchdown,
37:23>> turned into an interception. He threw it
37:25right to Travis Hunter, he looks
37:26completely shook.
37:27>> He does.
37:28>> He's a young player. I get it. But when
37:29you set the bar that he set for not just
37:33him, but those of us in fantasy football
37:34last year,
37:35>> yeah, we're going to come down harder on
37:37you when you look this completely
37:39terrible. He has been awful. As a matter
37:42of fact,
37:42>> he was an MVP candidate last year.
37:44>> He nearly won the award.
37:45>> Like, that's unbelievable that he nearly
37:47won MVP and this is the way that that
37:49guy is starting the first three games.
37:51Mind you, there's not a single pass
37:53catcher that I want to roster in this
37:54offense. They're not helping him out a
37:56whole lot unfortunately though.
37:57>> No, I that is some of the problem.
37:59Although, he was dealing with something
38:00similar last year. It's not like his
38:01supporting gas cast was great. I knew
38:03the schedule was lighter, but I mean,
38:05yeah, M. Collins was his feature target
38:06here. Nine targets, six catches, 87
38:09yards. I mean, that's not ideal. All due
38:10respect to M. Collins, he was not signed
38:13or acquired in any way to be the feature
38:16target for any offense in the NFL, just
38:18more of a support player. So, uh, and
38:20not to mention getting nothing out of
38:21the run game either. I mean, that was a
38:22very a major disappointment. So, uh,
38:25it's been tough going for sure. I will
38:27say last year that was kind of his
38:29breakout game, his coming out party, if
38:30you will, against the Bills, right?
38:31Early in the season when they upset
38:32them, kind of started the trajectory
38:34forward. Maybe he gets that going this
38:36year, but, uh, it's it's hard to trust
38:38him right now. Fisher cut bait is going
38:39to come at some point during the week.
38:41Also will be included there is Drake
38:42May. Just one last thing for me. I think
38:44you should expand the running back
38:45thoughts here in a minute.
38:46>> Drake May, this is a sappy stat from our
38:48great friend Kyle Sappi, the elite, the
38:50GOAT. Uh there have been 91 instances in
38:52which a quarterback has thrown 20 or
38:54more passes in a game this season. That
38:56includes all three games from Drake May.
38:58Of those 91 instances, he has the 74th
39:02most fantasy points, the 78th most
39:04fantasy points, and the 90th most
39:06fantasy points. Only Jameus Winston
39:08filling in for Jackson Dar last week was
39:10worse. So he's been terrible. There's no
39:12two ways about it.
39:13>> That's not good. I don't love the
39:14running backs either.
39:15>> So Raandre Stevens Mike confirmed stats.
39:18I uh the snaps he had like a near two
39:20to1 edge, right?
39:21>> 32 to 21. Okay.
39:22>> 321.
39:23>> Not quite that dramatic. I had the snap.
39:25>> There was some By the way, there was
39:26some garbage time in this too. Cory Ker
39:28played eight late in the game because
39:29they both teams rested play. Well,
39:31certainly the Patriots did.
39:33>> But it's going to be the Randre
39:34Stevenson showed to begin the game.
39:36Trayvon Henderson had just one target.
39:38Like he is an explosive player. They
39:40have to find ways to get him the ball.
39:42They haven't done that
39:43>> on the the Jaguars. Some important stuff
39:45here. Do you want to rifle through it,
39:47Mike?
39:47>> Uh rifle through what? Uh what do you
39:49want to look for?
39:50>> I can rifle through it if you don't
39:51mind.
39:51>> Was it you, Daniel?
39:52>> It was. Yeah. Mike was Mike again. His
39:54heartbeat is racing for the second time
39:56in the show. Like, am I supposed to be
39:57doing this one?
39:57>> No, no, I mean I can. It's already in
39:59front of me. I just didn't know where
40:00you wanted me to go. My bad. I totally
40:02lost my train.
40:02>> No, it's all good, baby. Uh let's talk
40:04about the Jaguars, though. Parker
40:05Washington down game down game in which
40:08he disappoints and still scores 13
40:09fantasy points. This kind of feels like
40:11the Aman Ross St. Brown game, right?
40:13Where it's like, all right, this one is
40:14not great, but three for 40 and a
40:15touchdown. He's still the clear wide
40:17>> receiver. Parker Washington is
40:18>> the new Ros. Yeah,
40:20>> Parker Washington is what everyone
40:22wanted Luther Burden to be.
40:23>> Right now, Parker Washington is crushing
40:25in this game. It was Jacobe Meyers. He
40:28had eight targets. Uh but here's the
40:30thing. Seven for 64 and a touchdown,
40:3219.4 fantasy points. Here's what he did
40:34the first two weeks. He had two targets
40:35in week one. He had one target in week
40:37two.
40:38>> This was a fix me game.
40:39>> This was a This was They're trying to
40:40get Jacobe Myers involved.
40:42>> Jeff Darlington mentioned that on
40:43Fantasy Focus countdown.
40:45>> Yep. Yeah. But uh but interesting though
40:47is there could be something there for
40:48the re this reason only. They tried to
40:51feature Brian Thomas early in the
40:52season. They did not in this one. Yeah.
40:54>> He was kind of phased out. Even Josh
40:56Cameron was kind of trading routes with
40:58him. So I don't know what's going on
41:00with Brian Thomas, but it's not good.
41:01>> It is not good. What's going on with
41:03Bachel Tutin? I think he's like a
41:04low-end RB2 guys. It's not sexy. It
41:06doesn't feel super fun, but he kind of
41:07keeps delivering back-to-back weeks with
41:08the touchdown. 14.2 fantasy points last
41:11week against Denver and then 17 fantasy
41:13points this week against the Patriots.
41:16>> Throw one asterct in there.
41:17>> Yes.
41:17>> Yeah. This was the Trevor Lawrence
41:19>> eight minutes ago. Yes.
41:20>> Trevor Lawrence takes his designed
41:23quarterback run left side of the field.
41:25Yeah.
41:25>> And he stops. He's He's got nothing but
41:28grass in the end zone. Yes.
41:29>> And he takes a knee at the one yard
41:31line. Uh-huh. to take some for no
41:33particular reason.
41:35>> The game was out of hand.
41:37>> Yeah. He said after the fact though, he
41:38was like, "Dude, I was just looking out
41:39for the Bal toot and fantasy managers."
41:41>> That's right. But some of us have Trevor
41:42Lawrence in their lineup, so he like the
41:46the anytime touchdown Trevor Lawrence
41:48ticket holders must have been irate.
41:50>> Oh, definitely. There was no reason to
41:51do that with eight minutes left.
41:53>> It doesn't matter. Like it's totally
41:54inconsequential to the result, but it
41:56one of those things that could matter.
41:57So, I agree that Toutton looked good
41:59yesterday. Um, but that number could
42:01have probably should have been 10.9
42:03fantasy points.
42:04>> And I mentioned that because even though
42:06this is two weeks in a row that he has
42:07looked nice, next four weeks
42:10>> at Cincy, which is a much better defense
42:12than it used to be.
42:13>> Philadelphia,
42:14>> don't like that.
42:15>> Houston and then a buy. So, it's just
42:17for the four weeks in a row, you got
42:18three tough matchups and then you're not
42:20using them here that fourth week. Yeah.
42:21Doesn't feel great.
42:22>> They're still using four running backs
42:23as well. Uh, Laquin Allen's getting some
42:26passing down work now. Mir Abdullah gets
42:28mixed in during he got some garbage time
42:30carries, but they're they're mixing him
42:31in during the game as well. And of
42:33course, Chris Rodriguez scored a rushing
42:34touchdown in this one. So,
42:35>> yeah,
42:36>> Tootton looks the part, but they have
42:38not given him the keys completely yet,
42:40and it's kind of going to limit his
42:41ceiling. That's the concern there.
42:42>> Travis Hunter with his first reception
42:43in this one. Yeah.
42:44>> Uh, yes, he has just as many catch. He
42:46actually has more catches, more
42:47touchdown catches from Drake May than he
42:49does Trevor Lawrence.
42:49>> That's what I thought. Yeah, that's not
42:50great.
42:51>> All right,
42:51>> what's the next one?
42:52>> Uh, let's get to the Vikings and the
42:54Buckers. Not a very fantasy notable
42:57game. I take that back. It's 49ers and
Cardinals vs. 49ers
42:59Cardinals. Mike, this is you.
43:01>> Oh, we are going down to 49ers
43:03Cardinals.
43:04>> Did we just skip ahead?
43:06>> We did a little bit. We'll get
43:07>> We got to get moving. We're
43:08>> You know why? Because today
43:10>> I couldn't uh I I couldn't contain my
43:12excitement over Jeremiah Love, guys, who
43:14is suddenly Can you believe this? Think
43:16about how slow he started. I I texted
43:18you guys this last night. He started off
43:20really slow the first two weeks, was
43:21just getting but was getting a little
43:22bit of volume and then has the big game
43:24yesterday. Yep. He is in the top 15
43:26among running backs in fantasy points
43:27for the season already, which is unreal.
43:30Uh
43:30>> did you know that?
43:31>> Big 15. Wait, 15?
43:32>> He's 14th, I believe, at the moment.
43:34>> Gotcha.
43:35>> Uh so 52 snaps in this one to 30 over
43:39Tyler Algier. A big change at 21 carries
43:41for 90 yards. Also had five targets,
43:44caught them all for 19 yards and a
43:45touchdown in this one. Tyler Algier, two
43:48carries, four targets in this game. So
43:49they gave Love the Keys and he
43:51delivered. The efficiency could be a
43:52little better. I mean, rushing
43:54efficiency was terrific, but we want to
43:55get more out of 26 touches. So, a good
43:57sign he's back in the strong RB2
43:59conversation, maybe even backend RB1 at
44:01this point. Michael Wilson got going in
44:04a big way. Marvin Harrison Jr. is over
44:06with. Three for 40, but Wilson's the guy
44:09here. 11 catches, 89 yards, and a
44:11touchdown on 17 targets. That's the
44:13Cardinal side. The Niners. Anything
44:16before I
44:16>> Yeah. Can you drop Michael Wilson or can
44:18you drop not Michael Wilson? Can you
44:19drop Marvin Harrison Jr.?
44:20>> You haven't already.
44:21>> Yeah. I'm just saying like some people
44:22might be like, hey, there's still the
44:23skill set there.
44:24>> He's that guy if you want to keep him on
44:25the end of your bench, but he's nowhere
44:27near lineups right now.
44:28>> All right,
44:28>> I have dropped him for what it's worth.
44:29So, have you can
44:31>> Brock Py who had zero offtarget passes
44:34through two games was uh saw he probably
44:36went in this game because he was 15 to
44:3827, but 297 yards, four touchdowns, ran
44:41for 34 yards. The guy is a top five
44:43fantasy quarterback. He is outstanding.
44:45Debo Samuel with the probably the
44:47statline of the season. It's over. It's
44:49done. Zero targets, zero catches, 80
44:51yards, and a touchdown in this one off
44:53the amazing lateral. Yeah, it was a
44:56pass. It was a pass to Mike Evans. He
44:58caught it lateralled it to Debo. He goes
45:00around the edge and scores an 80 yard
45:01touchdown. So, hilarious game from Debo.
45:04Gets it done. Did have a couple carries
45:05as well in this one. I did want to put
45:07out a quick call to action. And if you
45:09did in fact by the time that you get
45:10done with the Monday Night Football lose
45:13by one fantasy point and you had Debo
45:15because you didn't get a reception,
45:16please send us your box score because I
45:18just want to see if anyone lost because
45:19Debo didn't get a reception on that.
45:22>> Had Lawrence and you were facing Chin or
45:23vice versa.
45:24>> Oh, that would have been a good one too.
45:25That's another Fields. This is part of
45:28the week. George KD all the way back six
45:30for 82 and two touchdowns. So back
45:32>> start of the week at tight end for me.
45:33Thank you and KD. Uh and by the way, we
45:36have to monitor this one. Uh Mike Evans
45:38did, we just mentioned him. He got hurt
45:39in this one. He had three for 34 and a
45:41touchdown, 12 routes, but left the game.
45:44Uh very possible there's mis time here.
45:46We're going to monitor this one. Maybe,
45:47maybe not. We're going to find out in
45:48the next couple of days. But uh the
45:50injury bug just continues to get the
45:5249ers and it could be Evans next.
45:54>> No question about it.
45:55>> Doesn't feel good.
45:55>> Uh next game is Vikings Buccaneers. The
Vikings vs. Bucs
45:58Vikings improve to 3 and0. The Bucks
45:59fall to 0 and3. The biggest storyline of
46:02this one, I think pretty clearly, is the
46:04injury bug, right? Yeah.
46:05>> So, Justin Jefferson leaves this game.
46:08>> Ankle, they said that he was close to
46:10coming back,
46:12>> but he didn't come back. So, Justin
46:13Jefferson leaves without much to show
46:15for it. Jordan Addison stepped into a
46:17bigger role. Five for 90 and a touchdown
46:19there. So, if Jefferson does miss time
46:21and they play the Dolphins next week,
46:23pretty good opportunity for Jordan
46:25Addison to sort of merge emerge into
46:27that top 20ish uh running back range.
46:30Aaron Jones in this game. 15 carries for
46:3256 yards. So, fewer carries than last
46:34week. Played 82% of the snaps, though,
46:37and he had six targets. Good for five
46:39catches and 34 yards. He's right there
46:41hovering around that low-end RB2 range.
46:44If there is no Well, there won't be
46:46Jordan Mason next week because he got
46:47two more weeks on IR. Uh, not much from
46:50the Vikings though. Kyler Murray, not
46:51quite not even closer to declare him as
46:54a fantasy starter. He was 15 for 29.
46:57Yeah, good opportunity versus Miami, but
46:59does not look like the guy that we saw
47:01in Arizona for many years. And just two
47:03rushes for 17 yards.
47:04>> Yeah, that's right. I will say this.
47:06What did we want from him this year? We
47:07wanted one thing.
47:08>> Make Justin Jefferson re.
47:09>> What did he do? Two routes for Jefferson
47:11in this game. Two targets, two catches.
47:13So, at least while he was healthy, he
47:15was getting the ball in his hands, but
47:16yeah, obviously we need to monitor
47:17Jefferson throughout.
47:18>> Uh, the Bucks also hit the injury bug
47:20yesterday as Baker Mayfield left this
47:21game late. He had a dislocated throwing
47:23thumb. Doesn't sound good for week four.
47:25Bucky Irving got banged up late as well.
47:27Don't know a lot about this one, but
47:30don't be surprised if it's the Kenny
47:32Gamewell show with some Shawn Tucker
47:33mixed in next week. The Bucks are a real
47:36life disappointment, 0 and three, even
47:37though they're still a game back in that
47:38terrible division they play in. But
47:40guys, they're a major fantasy
47:42disappointment as well. Amecha Ibuka has
47:44had three straight games that weren't so
47:46bad that we've been talking about him
47:48more, but they have not been good enough
47:50for us to give a bunch of shine.
47:51Correct. Five for 62 on nine targets.
47:54You like the targets? Nine out of Baker
47:56Mayfield's 34 passing attempts going his
47:58way. Disappointing.
48:00Nobody in this pass catching group has
48:02really emerged. They've been spreading
48:04things around way too much. This Bucks
48:06offense like the rest of their team.
48:09Very disappointing.
48:10>> Yeah, nothing more to add there.
48:11>> Vuka will be the highest ranked once
48:13again. He'll probably still be in that
48:15top 30. But
48:16>> by the way, I think Jaylen McMillan I I
48:17don't I don't know if he's not 100% but
48:20or he just lost the job to Ted Hurst
48:21because he has not
48:22>> he had one route in this game. He's not
48:24terrible factor if you've been stashing
48:25him on the end of your bench and you cut
48:27him loose.
48:27>> I have dropped him a bunch
48:28unfortunately. Let's talk about Ravens
48:30and Cowboys.
48:31>> Brazil.
48:32>> What a fun game, guys.
48:34>> Not for Cowboys.
48:35>> Well, it doesn't Well, I'm just saying
48:36for the people in Brazil that were there
48:38to watch this, it was a blast. Dak
48:40didn't play great, but uh 18.9 fantasy
48:43points, guys. I can't complain about
48:4418.9 fantasy points. Feel that. That
Ravens vs. Cowboys
48:46hits my level. That hits my line. I It's
48:48I wanted a little bit more, but I'm okay
48:50with that. CD certified good at
48:52football. Yeah, I'll confirm that.
48:54>> Eight targets, nine catches, 112 yards
48:56for 20.2 fantasy points, plus a
48:58two-point conversion.
49:00>> He has at least 15 fantasy points in all
49:02three games to start the season. He's
49:03been awesome. George Pickkins 11
49:05targets.
49:05>> Told you.
49:05>> Yeah, stay patient.
49:08>> He could have been a whole lot more,
49:09right? Because there was that play late
49:10in the game where some people thought he
49:11Dak should have hit George Pickkins for
49:13a wide open touchdown.
49:14>> Wide open. It was really good to see
49:15that volume. Seven for 82, 15.2 fantasy
49:18points. Javvante also went off 19 for 98
49:21and a touchdown plus two catches for
49:23five yards, 18.3 fantasy points. He's
49:26also got 14 or more points in all three
49:28games to start the season.
49:29>> The Cowboys are more of a summary than
49:30an analysis team, right? It's like
49:32here's what they did and they are the
49:33same as they are each and every week.
49:37>> Cowboy Daniel wrote in his notes, I have
49:39zero questions about the Cowboys
49:40offense. They are who we thought they
49:42were. That's basically exactly what
49:44Field said.
49:44>> All right, moving on.
49:45>> That's it. Uh on the other side,
49:47Dererick Henry says, "Efficiency be
49:49damned. I'm gonna find the end zone."
49:51>> Yeah.
49:51>> 26 carries. He turned that into 89
49:53rushing yards. That's poor. That's
49:55really poor. But two touchdowns and a
49:57catch, 21.9 fantasy points. That's all
49:59that matters at the end of the day.
50:00Lamar with a nice nice bounce back after
50:02a 14-point outing in week two. 20.4 here
50:05in week three. Only 186 passing yards,
50:08but two touchdowns, 50 yards on the
50:10ground because that's what Lamar does.
50:11And then Zay Flowers decided to give it
50:13a go.
50:13>> Yeah. Barely played 15 routes.
50:15>> 15 routes. Turn that into five catches
50:17for 83 yards plus a rush for 20 yards.
50:20>> Awesome.
50:20>> 15.4 fantasy points. By the way, we talk
50:22about how there's only one wide receiver
50:24that can be supported in this offense.
50:26Baitman back to the bench. Two catches
50:27for 37 yards. Again, I have zero
50:29questions about this offense. The Ravens
50:31are who we thought they were.
50:32>> Cowboys and the Ravens looking at each
50:34other in a lot of ways.
Raiders vs. Saints
50:36>> All right, Raider Saints. This is a fun
50:38game.
50:39>> He's back. Brock Bowers is healthy and
50:43God is he back.
50:44>> He was not limited. He ran 34 routes in
50:47this game. That was more pass attempts
50:48than Kirk Cousins had in this game,
50:50which was 33. 13 targets, 10 catches,
50:53116 yards, and a touchdown. He is at
50:56worst tight end two in fantasy, arguably
50:58tight end one over Trey McBride. It's a
51:00close call as we thought it would be
51:01coming into uh the season.
51:04>> Uh that's the that's pretty much it on
51:06the radio. I mean, Ashen Genty was fine,
51:08right? Like he he got his volume. He had
51:1022 touches in this game, 93 yards. He's
51:13fine. You're not touching any of the
51:14wide receivers in this offense. You're
51:16not starting Kirk Cousins even though he
51:18threw three touchdowns because he's a
51:19non-factor with his legs. So, that's it
51:21for the Raiders. We don't really have to
51:22get into anything else. The Saints side,
51:24uh, Tyler Shuck, we ranked him high this
51:27la this past week and they may have
51:29lost, but he did the job. He threw four
51:30more touchdowns in this game.
51:32Interestingly, all of them to tight ends
51:34for some reason, which is annoying. Why
51:35not?
51:35>> Uh, but Joan Johnson had two of them,
51:37eight targets, eight catches, 53 yards.
51:39very much in the title one conversation
51:41at least until Jordan Tyson comes back.
51:43>> Uh Saints backfield, we have to check in
51:46on this one.
51:47>> It looked like we were trend I think you
51:49texted about this. It seemed like we
51:50were trending somewhere early in this
51:52game. Uh Travis Han played 64% of the
51:55snaps until he got hurt in the third
51:58quarter. He had 13 carries for 57 yards.
52:00He had two targets, caught them both for
52:0213 yards. Then he has the hamstring
52:04injury. This one could linger for a
52:05couple of weeks. So, we're going to talk
52:06about this more uh when we get an update
52:08hopefully later today and then on
52:10waiverss tomorrow after he left. This is
52:12the notable Alvin Chimera 14 snaps. CJ
52:15Donaldson seven snaps and Kendre Miller
52:17nine. So, probably going to be a
52:19situation to avoid. Kendry Miller was
52:21not a factor before the injury. He did
52:23played all his snaps afterward. Uh and
52:26there was really nothing. I mean, it was
52:27a three-headed committee and that's
52:28probably what going to be what they do
52:30if a Chan is out. So, this remains a
52:32situation to avoid. It was
52:34simultaneously good to see them find
52:35religion in the backfield, like play the
52:37guy that you spend all this money on,
52:38but then obviously not good when he gets
52:40hurt.
52:41>> Um, the only thing I want to add about
52:43uh one of the sneaky values of Tyler
52:45Shuck just very quickly is, and this is
52:46only further reinforced with Travis Han
52:48unavailable potentially for next week,
52:50they play Monday night against Atlanta.
52:52>> They can't run the ball in short yardage
52:53situations. So Shuck had touchdowns of
52:57like the two- yard ver I think Jawan
52:59Johnson went five for 35 for two
53:01touchdowns. Like it's it's all short
53:02yardage stuff and Tyler Shuck can get
53:04some goal line work himself.
53:06>> Eight for 53 on two touchdowns for Jawan
53:08Johnson. But no Fant for 33 for two
53:11touchdowns.
53:11>> Yeah, we're not going to touch him. He's
53:12still he'll hit for a touchdown here.
53:15There. It's all Mikey. Very similar
53:16dynamic there. You're not going to start
53:18him.
53:18>> I don't know. Third and button and Jan
53:19were considered
53:20>> third. Yeah, I said tight one for him,
53:22but not uh not fam.
53:23>> Rams Broncos.
53:24>> Probably the craziest game of the night.
53:26>> Definitely the craziest game of the
Rams vs. Broncos
53:27night.
53:27>> Nothing at halftime. The Rams in this
53:29incredibly professional outfit in the
53:30first half and then the Broncos come
53:33back and win 30 to 26 in a game where
53:35they score 30 second half points and
53:36Bonex only throws for 186 yards. Like I
53:39don't know how the Broncos grind these
53:40wins out but they are very very good.
53:42Maybe a questionable DPI penalty late in
53:44the game.
53:45>> I think it was more the Rams snatching
53:46defeat from the jaws of victory.
53:48>> That could be it in that one. I
53:50>> the Rams in a lot of ways are pretty cut
53:53and dry with one notable exception.
53:55Matthew Stafford 21 fantasy points.
53:58Borderline QB1. Yep. Kyro Williams 21.8.
54:01He's awesome. He is still the guy in the
54:03backfield. Dvonte Adams was ridiculous
54:06against Pat Certan. 13 targets. That's
54:09huge. Seven catches 137 yards. That's a
54:12huge night for Dvonte against an awesome
54:14defense. Kannata Mumfield, Mike's guy,
54:16did have a long touchdown catch last
54:18night. I don't know that I Puka could be
54:20back as soon as next week. Even if Puka
54:22is out though, I'd have a hard time
54:24against the Eagles, by the way, feeling
54:26like anybody besides Devonte Adams
54:28amongst the wide receivers should be
54:29started.
54:29>> Agreed.
54:30>> But this is where it gets confusing for
54:31the Rams is it just spin the wheel of
54:34tight ends and each week is going to
54:35land on somebody different because week
54:37one it was Kobe Parkinson, week two was
54:39Terrence Ferguson. Week three there were
54:41they actually opened the game with a
54:43pass to Davis Allen. I think he had two
54:45catches on the first drive. Maybe it was
54:46just one catch, but anyways,
54:47>> two for the game. Yeah,
54:48>> two for the game. Tyler Higgby was
54:50prominently involved in part because
54:51Tyler uh Terrence Ferguson got hurt.
54:54Yep.
54:54>> Yeah. He returned but was not he didn't
54:56play himself.
54:57>> But also Kobe Parkinson was questionable
54:58all week to was obviously limited too. I
55:00think he left the game for a while too.
55:02So
55:02>> So when you have four tight ends, you
55:04might have zero.
55:05>> They have five.
55:06>> If you have four, you might have zero.
55:08And they have five.
55:09>> So I don't know that I can trust a Rams
55:10tight end. Even if there is a good
55:12chance that Matthew Stafford is going to
55:13throw like 15 or 20 passes to tight ends
55:16throughout the course of the game for
55:19the Broncos. Um, backfield staying away.
55:23>> Any agreement there?
55:24>> No. No.
55:24>> I mean, getting all the carries.
55:27Coleman's out, but but he's stealing
55:28passing down work. He's like their
55:30little Quinn Allen. It's just
55:31>> Yep. And Coleman, by the way, on IR. So,
55:34Jonah Coleman will miss four games,
55:35three more after last night.
55:37>> Uh, wide receivers. Another down night
55:39for Jaylen Watt. Come on, man.
55:41>> Point conversion. Get to 5.8 fantasy
55:43points. But another one that you're
55:44like, are we going to have to ride the
55:46roller coaster all year? Pat Bryant had
55:48a touchdown catch last night.
55:50>> Bo was a good player for fantasy. 24.14
55:54fantasy points last night. Four carries
55:56for seven yards and a touchdown. They
55:58have a good matchup next week in San
55:59Francisco.
56:00>> Yep.
56:01>> Still not there totally on Bick. Yep.
56:03>> I'm I'm still a few more solid
56:05performances away.
56:06>> It hasn't look He hasn't had a solid
56:07performance. needs to like it needs to
56:08not just be good in the box score.
56:10>> Correct.
56:11>> But good in real life because the
56:13difference between him and Blake Bortles
56:14like back in the day when he was
56:15bordling was it was like
56:16>> they were a bad team. They were just
56:18garbage. It's Jacobe Brassette what he
56:19did yesterday. Right. The Broncos are a
56:21good team. Like they're going to win a
56:22lot of games this year. I need to see it
56:24from Bo before I trust him.
56:26>> 100% with you on that one.
56:28>> And it's disappointing, but you're
56:29probably still trusting Jaylen Wadd.
56:30It's just this was this is going to be
56:31>> I don't know, man. Maybe we'll have to
56:33>> We'll have to We'll look at it. We'll
56:34look at on Wednesday when we're going
56:35through our rankings. Let's talk
Panthers vs. Browns
56:37Panthers and Browns. Let's do it.
56:39>> Yeah, they this one could be pretty
56:40quick, but uh the Browns get it done at
56:42home. Harold Fannon, seven for 51 and
56:44two touchdowns on nine targets. Back in
56:46the tight end one conversation. He is a
56:47good connection with Watson obviously.
56:49Uh and also we can't trust a receiver,
56:51so it should run through uh Fannon. We
56:54had a disappearing act here from Denzel
56:56Boston. They're still trying to feature
56:57Casey Conpsion
56:59targets.
57:00>> Yeah, he has 20 targets for 80 yards
57:02this season. It's just not happening
57:03yet. Uh, and Watson just missed him so
57:05many times yesterday. Um, I expected
57:07more from Quinn Sean Judkins. The volume
57:09was there. He had 18 for 70 on the
57:10ground, which is fine, but only two for
57:12nine yards through the air. He's just
57:14not cementing himself as a tight end or
57:16a running back one. It's a problem right
57:17now. Um, Jaylen Coker left this game
57:19injured. That's a problem here. Two for
57:2118 early in that one. Bryson Tmaine
57:23stepped in and had four for 83, but
57:25we're not going to trust him as a
57:26starter. Uh, keep in mind Xavier Legette
57:28was out as well for this one.
57:30>> He will be a chalky DFS name though.
57:32Bryson Tmaine, they play the Lions on
57:33Sunday night.
57:34>> Yeah, we'll see what his price point
57:35looks like. But hopefully Jaylen Coker
57:37is ready to go. But yeah, considering he
57:39was questionable and left his game, you
57:40have to plan otherwise. For now, uh
57:43Bryce Young back to earth in this one.
57:44272 yards, a touchdown, and
57:46interception. His what he thought, you
57:48know, he's going to be a mid to backend
57:50quarterback, too, most likely.
57:51>> He almost stole my line.
57:53>> What?
57:53>> He is what he thought they were.
57:55>> Well, he can't even get it out. He'll be
57:56ranked very high.
57:57>> Yes, he will. Oh, yes, he will in that
57:58matchup. And then hopefully uh he'll
58:00bring Tedo McMillan back with him
58:02because he had a dud in this one in
58:03Cleveland. Two for 17 on five targets.
58:06Uh no Jonathan Brooks meant AJ Dylan
58:08replaced him. And that's basically what
58:10happened because Chuba Hubard outnapped
58:11him 62 to 12 in this one. 19 for 82 on
58:16the ground for Hubard. Also had four
58:17catches for 28 yards. He's a front end
58:19RB2.
58:20>> Chuba also helped some of us win a red
58:22zone question yesterday with that 19th
58:24carry. It was 18 or more carries
58:26yesterday for Chuba. was uh that was my
58:28uh that was my prop bet.
58:30>> It was 18 and a half and he had 19 and I
58:32I was not happy. But I did get the Josh
58:34Allen under but missed on on Hubard. So
58:37>> yeah, cuz Josh was eight carries.
58:38>> Yes.
58:39>> Yes.
58:39>> I did mention really quickly that the
58:41you're starting all the quarterbacks,
58:42every quarterback scored at least 23
58:43fantasy points. These are the top pass
58:45catchers against the Lions this year.
58:46Chris Olive scored 28.
58:48>> Devon Vle had 19.9.
58:50>> Dalton Concincaid had 22.
58:52>> Garrett Wilson had 26. Kenyan Sadi had
58:5523.5. Is this a Tedro McMillan stat
58:58right here?
58:58>> Tedo McMillan or are we throwing a dart
59:00at Darren Waller with the way that tight
59:02ends tight ends have scored at least 15
59:04fantasy points against the Detroit
59:05Lions? They he keeps scoring touchdowns
59:07right now. So anyways, let's talk about
59:09the next one. Titans and Giants. This
59:11one can be quick. Holy smokes, this game
59:13was bad, guys.
Titans vs. Giants
59:14>> The rain absolutely 100% a factor, but
59:17>> it was just disgusting in general. Uh no
59:20Jackson Dart. Jameus Winston didn't look
59:22like the old Jamus. He just looks old.
59:24Jameus Winston just looked like an old
59:25quarterback. He's not the We were
59:27excited when it's like the backup
59:29quarterback is famous Jamus, the guy
59:31that's going to elevate all of our
59:32fantasy guys. I don't think that we have
59:33that guy anymore.
59:34>> Yeah, tough conditions here, but we'll
59:35see maybe in better. But I really
59:37thought even with the tough conditions,
59:39I was going to see something different.
59:40The first game when he came in, it was
59:41like, oh, he just didn't look like he
59:42was fully prepared.
59:44>> Still didn't really look fully prepared
59:45in this one when I was watching the
59:46game. But Malik Neighbors, I think, has
59:48a limited ceiling for the time being
59:50with Jamus until we see something else.
59:52right now is just you can't bench him,
59:53but he is not the wide receiver one that
59:55you were hoping he was going to be if
59:56you decided to take a shot on him in the
59:58third round. Cam 20 carries for 60
1:00:00yards, three catches for 40 yards, only
1:00:0313 fantasy points, has yet to hit 15
1:00:06fantasy points in a game this season.
1:00:08Luckily, next two games maybe can do
1:00:10that against Arizona and Washington. So,
1:00:12two defenses that you could potentially
1:00:14take advantage of, but Cam has not
1:00:15looked great. Did we get Isaiah likely
1:00:17two years in a row, by the way, where we
1:00:18had a huge week one and then he just
1:00:20disappears for the rest of the season,
1:00:22or is this a quarterback situation and
1:00:24we should be holding tight based on the
1:00:26skill set of Isaiah likely?
1:00:27>> He had 10 targets in week two.
1:00:29>> Mhm.
1:00:29>> And the weather was awful yesterday. I'm
1:00:31willing to excuse it. I agree. Agreed.
1:00:33>> All right. For the other side, Tony Pard
1:00:35more points in week three than both of
1:00:36his first two weeks combined. A whopping
1:00:3813.6 here this week against the Giants.
1:00:41Just doesn't feel great. Wandell
1:00:42Robinson had a big game, 18.7. Carnell
1:00:45Tate had another nice game, 11.8, best
1:00:47game by all of the Titans across the
1:00:49board,
1:00:50>> but I'm still not going to play any of
1:00:51them because their next two weeks they
1:00:53have they are at Baltimore and then take
1:00:55on the Houston Texans.
1:00:57>> So, it was great if you happen to rely
1:00:59on them this week. I'm just not using it
1:01:00for going forward here was not good for
1:01:02>> Love the nine targets for Tate, but it
1:01:04hasn't turned into much yet. Yeah, it's
1:01:06>> and it was a slow start. He did a lot of
1:01:08this in the second half.
1:01:10>> Let's preview this Monday Night Football
1:01:11game. Michael's Philadelphia Eagles
1:01:13taking on the Chicago Bears.
1:01:16>> That is what the weather's going to look
1:01:17like right there.
1:01:18>> No, it's supposed to be nice. Supposed
1:01:19to be beautiful tonight.
1:01:19>> Is it like 70 and sunny?
1:01:21>> Oh, that would 74 straight days of rain.
1:01:24It feels like
1:01:24>> this is Chicago. So, different part of
1:01:26the country.
1:01:26>> I would love 70 and sunny here. Yeah.
1:01:28Uh, how you guys feel about this Bears
1:01:29offense knowing that Case Keenum going
MNF preview
1:01:31to get the start tonight?
1:01:31>> Better than with Tyson Bean. I said that
1:01:33last week. I guess there's no way to
1:01:34run.
1:01:34>> I'm still surprised by that. Yeah,
1:01:36>> I think it's just going to distribute
1:01:37it. I don't have a lot of optimism, but
1:01:39Coloulston Lovelin was still inside my
1:01:41top 12 for tight ends.
1:01:42>> Roma Dunce and Luther Burden are out
1:01:45would have been outside my top 30 for
1:01:47this week, though.
1:01:47>> Yeah, this is a tricky one. Your
1:01:48lineup's probably set, right? So, yeah,
1:01:50temper expectations with no Caleb, but
1:01:53it already wasn't good with Caleb.
1:01:54That's kind of was our analysis and uh
1:01:56we'll see how this goes. Hopefully, you
1:01:58can get the ball in their hands.
1:01:59>> On the other side, Eagles. Is there
1:02:01anybody from the Eagles that's just not
1:02:02an obvious start? We're playing Jaylen
1:02:03Herz, playing Dvonte Smith, playing
1:02:05Saquon Barkley. Saquin off the injury
1:02:07report entirely. He's good to go.
1:02:08Hopefully that stinger does not recur.
1:02:11Um but this is like we need to see more
1:02:14from Saquon here.
1:02:14>> Yep. You know who else we're going to
1:02:15see tonight? Zack Z. It seems reportedly
1:02:18will be activated for this game. His
1:02:19return to the Eagles. That'll be fun to
1:02:21see. No Dallas.
1:02:22>> Yeah.
1:02:23>> I had a situation where I had to replace
1:02:25Dallas Goddard and I was sort of going
1:02:27back and forth between Aronda Gats in a
1:02:28second and Zack Curts.
1:02:30>> The problem was when waiverss are
1:02:31running you're like you don't know if
1:02:32Zackart's going to even be active.
1:02:33>> Correct. That's the thing.
1:02:34>> Noah Fan then. I assume naturally I
1:02:37picked a Ronda G.
1:02:37>> This was a great tight end week to be
1:02:39honest. Like tight ends tight end 10
1:02:41scored 14.9 fantasy points.
1:02:43>> There's some strategery to that. I think
1:02:44across the league as we saw all the
1:02:46combine invites, all the tight ends
1:02:48drafted. I mean that's been a trend more
1:02:5013 personnel.
1:02:51>> I'm going to go on a limb here and take
1:02:52the Eagles with Case Keenum starting at
1:02:55quarterback field. Where you going on
1:02:56this?
1:02:56>> You imagine not picking the Eagles.
1:02:58>> BEARS TAKING THE BEARS BEARS. I WENT on
1:03:01I went on an island in like a handful of
1:03:02games this week. I think I went over. So
1:03:04maybe I snap the streak today.
1:03:06>> Well, uh, if they win, it's probably
1:03:07going to be because they they're Look,
1:03:09we know they're going to try to run the
1:03:10ball. Yep. And if they do it
1:03:11successfully, they can win this game
1:03:12like they did last year when they just
1:03:14Swift and Manungai both had a huge game
1:03:16in that match up with the Eagles.
1:03:17>> 270 yards.
1:03:18>> Yeah. So, that's going to be their
1:03:19strategy here. You no doubt without
1:03:21Caleb.
1:03:21>> Do you know if you guys need any Monday
1:03:22Night Miracles
1:03:24>> in any of your matchups?
1:03:25>> No, I'm I'm beating you by like 10 and
1:03:26one league we're playing. So, I I'm
1:03:28good. Really? My team My FC team is
1:03:31>> so bad.
1:03:32>> And I had like the game of the year for
1:03:34who rushed it.
1:03:35>> Yeah. Everyone went off.
1:03:36>> Yeah.
1:03:36>> Our guy Zach needs 21 from Jaylen Herz.
1:03:39>> Okay. I think that's possible. That's
1:03:41doable. That's possible. Yeah. We'll see
1:03:42how that one works.
1:03:43>> Yeah.
1:03:43>> I said before the show, this is a good
1:03:45week for the brand. I This is, you know,
1:03:47like week one was bad for the guys I
1:03:48liked a lot. Week three was great for
1:03:49the guys I liked. So, my team's
1:03:51naturally uh had a good week, but next
1:03:53year it'll go the other direction
1:03:54because that's fantasy football.
1:03:56>> That is fantasy football. Excited to be
1:03:57able to come back and do this more
1:03:58tomorrow with you guys. We'll talk about
1:04:00the Monday Night Football game then, as
1:04:01well as some waiverss. Don't forget to
1:04:03love each other and be kind to yourself.
1:04:05We love you guys. Thank you for hanging
1:04:06out with us. We'll see you when you come
1:04:07back on Tuesday.
1:04:11>> You're in the 0610
1:04:13focus.
1:04:15Fantasy.
1:04:18Fantasy. Focus.
1:04:43Hey.
