Welcome into Fantasy Focus!

0:00Fantasy. You're in the 0610 focus. Fantasy, Fantasy Focus. What's up, friends? Welcome into Fantasy Focus Football alongside Field GH and an upgrade here with Liz Loza. Very excited

Week 5 Sunday Recap

0:20to be here to recap all the things that are week five. Diving into all of that. First and foremost though, first of a handful of days here with you, Liz. We obviously got to do the Sunday show with you. How you doing here, kid? I'm doing great. It is gorgeous in New England right now. The leaves are changing.

0:34This, I have to say, is like I've got my little pocket on. I am loving the the foliage and the time of year. >> You can tell that Liz is in from LA because she's got a little jacket on in the studio right now. >> Well, she went to college in Rhode Island. Had a great time this

0:49season. >> I bit my tongue when Daniel said like, "It's an upgrade." I can't bite my tongue no more. >> Massive upgrade. Big upgrade. That's right. You always make me feel so >> Oh gosh, >> it's going to be a lot of fun. >> Mike, take the rest of the year off. >> We're going to dive into a bunch of fun

1:02games today, guys. We of course we wouldn't say that. And now, by the way, you're not going to be here tomorrow. >> Liz is holding it down for me tomorrow. >> Yeah, we're going to have me and Liz. No, that'll be We'll We'll see how that one goes. But we got a lot of fun stuff to dive into today. A week five recap.

1:17We're going to do a quick Monday Night Football preview. Shout out to our friends over at Trophy Smack, even though they beat me this week in the Fantasy Focus Show League. >> Did they? >> Yeah, they did. Yep. He autodrafted and this team is really good. >> Go to trophymack.com, use the promo code trophy week 6 for 10% off your order

1:31there. You can grab something fun for your league. And with that, let's dive into what was a fun game if you were a

Patriots/Raiders

1:37Patriots fan field. >> Yeah. On top of that, by the way, we will have uh not breaking news, but we'll have reaction to breaking news from yesterday, which is a huge trade involving a guy that we once thought was going to be a fantasy superstar. The Patriots absolutely wax the Raiders 45-7. >> That trigger warning, you're not allowed

1:56to say that. >> Sorry. Sorry. >> Gosh. >> The Patriots absolutely shave off the Raiders. >> 45-7. Uh, and guys, >> Drake May is back. >> Yes, he is. >> Drake May is all the way back. He uh depending on what happens tonight in Monday Night Football, then Josh Allen hasn't played this week, so it's still possible. It's in the bag.

2:15>> But Drake May, as of right now, quarterback one for the week. He was quarterback one last week as well. As we record this show, Drake May is already back up to quarterback 10 for the season, guys. And he had three straight games to begin the year under 10 fantasy points. It would take a pretty herculean effort for Matthew Stafford to jump over

2:35Drake May. So, he'll probably enter week six as a top 10 quarterback. And this Raiders team, like I don't think this is Drake May doing this to the Seahawks defense. But this Raiders team, they were three- one coming into this game and they nearly beat Kansas City last week. This is a real team. He did this against and they had not been

2:51surrendering a ton to opposing quarterbacks. And on top of that, Drake May had no AJ Brown. Yes. >> No M. Holland. Tayvon Henderson gets hurt really early in this game. We'll talk about that in a minute. The Patriots offensive line, bunch of injuries there. Drake May was throwing to Pop Douglas and Effam Chisum. Uh Romeo Dobs had one catch yesterday and

3:12Drake May still went off for 39.5 fantasy points. He was unbelievable. And here's the schedule coming up for Drake May over the next five games. >> Tell me any of these that say to you, "All right, I'm scared. I'm worried that like that under 10 fantasy points performance is coming again." Yep. >> We got the Jets, we got the Bears, got

3:30the Dolphins, we got the Packers, we got the Lions. All of those teams are all those games are ones in which Drake May will be right back inside our top 10. We're not going to be talking about Drake May in the rankings portion of the program. He was awesome. Trayvon Henderson got hurt. He played just 18.2% of the snaps. And think back to week one

3:49when Raandre Stevenson played a ton against Seattle because there was no Trayvon Henderson. Y >> I think if Henderson's going to miss some time, you can expect something like that going forward. >> Raandre is one of those guys. He's kind of like a cat in fantasy football, right? You count him out. He's got nine lives though. Okay.

4:05>> Not a superstar, right? But >> kind of going to ham and egg his way to mid-tier, probably low-end RB status >> for rankings purposes with no Jir Gibbs and four teams going to buy next week. I think Raandre assuming Trevon is out. We'll probably be somewhere around RB15 in our rankings against the Jets. Uh for

4:26the Patriots, while Pop Douglas had a huge game yesterday, there's really no Patriots pass catcher. But right now, you're saying to yourself, "All right, got to lock him in, even with Drake May being back." The Raiders had a couple of interesting things to me. And we did see Fernando Mendoza at the end of this game. I don't think we're quite on

4:42Mendoza watch yet, guys, but it was cool to see him out there. He did have 48 passing yards on six for eight attempts. Two things here for the Raiders. One, Brock Bowers is just ridiculous. >> Super good at football. >> He's already tight end five for the season and he missed two games. >> Insane. >> He's had at least 20 fantasy points in

5:00every game. I think he's the biggest single positional difference maker in the game right now. And Trey McBride's awesome. He had another great game yesterday and he's under 19 fantasy points per game. Brock Bowers is close to 24. That's ridiculous how good Brock Bowers is. But Brock's going to be in our lineup every single week. To me, the

5:20most interesting part that I think bears monitoring going forward is Ashton Genty, who yesterday the Raiders seemed like they were being very careful with. This game got out of hand and they yanked him. But, uh, Ashton Genty had just 27 rushing yards, 10 carries for 27 rushing yards. A couple weeks ago, I I brought the the debate to the table, and

5:42this is before we we knew about this foot injury. Is Ashton Genty more mid-tier RB2 than low-end RB1? I was concerned by the incredibly inefficient rushing volume or rushing opportunities for uh, Ashton Genty. And the passing game stuff is really good. And it was good again yesterday. Three catches, 50 yards. But until we see better rushing

6:02efficiency between that and this injury that I think the Raiders are going to have to manage for a while, I think Ashen Genty is more like a not not mid-tier RB2, but a stronger end RB2 than a legit RB1. Any disagreement there from you guys? >> I don't disagree. I think it bums me out that he's not operating at 100% because

6:22with this offense, if he was operating at 100% in this offense, I'd be fine with it. But this offense, we've already downgraded a little bit because it's the Raiders. They don't have as much touchdown equity. They're not going to push the ball down the field nearly as much. Like there's not as much there. So with him not operating at full

6:36potential, >> would you rather just have the Raiders throw him on IR for four weeks as a fantasy manager? >> I don't think that's going to happen. But I do mention maybe he said something to the effect of like I think the Raiders would at least consider whether they need to give him a week to rest, Liz. And it feels like the kind of guy

6:52that needs a week to rest, right? >> I I think that that makes sense. I just wish Mike Washington was more available as a pass catcher. I wish he had more receiving appeal. He was not a player in college that was used that much in the receiving game. Um, we know he has great speed and we know he's a great downhill

7:08rusher, but I think he's much more game script dependent and that's what makes Ashen Genty so tricky in terms of where you place him because he can be used even if game script isn't going his way. You mentioned the receiving work. So, yes, I would like to see him rest up, but also we were just talking about

7:23before the show started running back and how you need somebody. So, yes, we might have to rank him as a high-end RB2 instead of a low-end RB1, but we're not What does that mean for managers though, right? Like, you still have to roll him out, you know? >> Well, so it's like, you know, well, that's I think that will be a question

7:37is that like if he misses two practices this week, are you still going to absolutely without question roll them out? And also it comes down to like how many of these players are the difference between winning and not winning a championship. You can win a championship with Ashen Denty right now. If this efficiency and this injury lingers, I

7:56don't think you win a championship because of a >> we did see Dylan Lobby by the way yesterday. Uh he was playing a decent amount even before the game got out of hand. Uh, last thing for me on this game. If we were to do a mini quarterback draft right now, >> going forward, Josh Allen's going to go

8:15number one. >> Y, >> who's going number two for you guys for the rest of the season amongst all quarterbacks, knowing what we know through five weeks? >> Is it Brock Pury? >> Is it >> Jayen Daniels, Lamar Jackson, who's healthy, not healthy? >> Is it Drake May? It's really hard for me to say Drake May because the first three weeks of the

8:34season did happen and that's factored into overall. I mean there are some people who are working their way out of a hole three weeks into the season. >> Yeah, this is just for the rest of the year. Okay. If it's not like who's going to finish this QB2, but if if we started the clock in week six and went forward.

8:49>> That's a tough question. >> It is a good question because we're sitting here proverating over it, right? >> Yeah. >> I don't I think I would still rather have Lamar Jackson. I just think that there's part of this is Drake May did some things and you talked about it that like I don't think I expect him to do. I

9:03don't expect him to have 374 passing yards with Eftton Chisum and Pop Douglas more often than not. Doesn't mean that it's not in his bag to be able to do some things. Yeah, but like I I'm not sure that I view him there. I do definitely view him as back into my top seven without question. Like I feel like

9:18there's no way I'm benching him, especially with the schedule that you just >> Yeah. I I I think it's at least possible that Drake is QB2 the rest of the way, which is a testament to how talented he is. I mean, just a ridiculous performance from him yesterday. That's all I got on the Patriots and the Raiders.

9:32>> All right. >> Well, I'm going to take over for the

Steelers/Colts

9:34Colts and the Steelers because there's another quarterback who is surprising. We'll start with Aaron Rogers. Took care of business at home, beating the Colts by a score of 34 to22. Rogers was mistakefree in a home effort against the Colts. completed 22 of 31 for 235 passing yards and three touchdowns. That makes the third week in a row in which

9:56he's thrown for three scores. He's also now cleared 20 fantasy points in three straight efforts, making him the QB6 in fantasy points per game over the last three weeks, >> right? That is a mindblow when you contextualize everything. He'll travel to Tampa Bay in week six and we'll see if the Bucks can do to him what they did

10:15to Dak Prescott. I'm not really holding my breath. Um, other standouts obviously Jaylen Warren who continues to be a star while Rico Daw is out of the lineup. Warren touched the ball 21 times for 188 scrimmage yards, two touchdowns, one on the ground, one through the air, and that was good for 36.8 fantasy points. Warren has now cleared

10:38125 scrimmage yards for three straight weeks. Remember, Rico Dael has only been out for two, >> which leads me to my next point because right now there are whispers of Rico Dael returning in week six, but I'm still starting Warren regardless of Dao's availability also because of his his dominance in the passing game and because we know Aaron Rogers needs a

10:59safety valve. Kenny Gainwell went to the pirate ship and now uh Jaylen Warren who was in second place in that regard last year now gets a promotion of sorts. We will take it. He's the RB six in catches, the RB two in receiving yards since the start of the season. Other performances of note got Pat Frymouth who converted seven to five for 44

11:17receiving yards and two touchdowns. That was the third time this season he found the end zone. Michael Pitman obviously on IR which made an opportunity for Jeremy Bernard who drew nine targets seemingly as a result also part of that equation was Roman Wilson's absence. He hurt his finger and he is expected to quote miss some time. Yep.

11:38>> So that's the Steelers side. Shall we move on the Colts? >> I'm glad you covered it. >> This is my question for you guys on the Steelers very fast. >> Do we think that Jaylen Warren can do to Rico D? What Rico D did to Hover last year, at least for a little bit, >> which is, hey, Rico's going to return at

11:54some point. Yeah. Almost played this past weekend. >> If he comes back next week, >> the Steelers can't put the toothpaste back in the tube here and go, "All right, you know what? Running it back by committee here, Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowel. I don't expect Jaylen Warren to play 80% of the snaps when Rico Dattle was around, but the number's got to be

12:11much closer to like 65. >> I think it's also a little bit different because Bryce Young does not have the same command of power that Aaron Rodgers does. And if Aaron Rodgers is favoring someone, that person is going to continue to be targeted both, you know, in the receiving game obviously and utilized on the ground. >> I would default towards being

12:32disappointed and starting Jaylen Warren with an expectation and too. >> Yes. And then finding out, oh wow, they really do want to get Rico down without scoring Ashton Genty. >> I'm surprised about this. Then we'll get there. But until then, like Jaylen Warren has been unbelievable. Like you got to keep rolling with it. >> Um Jonathan Taylor has normally been

12:49awesome. He struggled a little bit in this one. 15 carries for 45 rushing yards, three catches for 37 receiving yards. That was good for 11.2 fantasy points. Didn't find the end zone, but I don't think anybody is too concerned. Things are up, things are down. He is still a dominant player. I'm not concerned because I have another player

13:06in the squad that got in the end zone, Liz Loza. And I am so grateful that it finally happened this year. >> And Tyler Warren >> who scored a rushing touchdown instead of Jonathan Taylor. >> He sure did. And it spiked his total fantasy performance. He was tied for a he was tied for the team high in looks,

13:22converting seven of nine for 83 receiving yards. Yes. And also that rushing score, 21.4 fantasy points, his highest fantasy point total of the season. Other quick mentions, Keenan Allen, who has been healthy and not healthy, obviously had some issues ahead of the season. He also drew nine targets, wasn't as efficient with his opportunities as Warren, just five

13:42catches for 45 receiving yards. And Josh Downs continued to disappoint, converting just three of six looks. >> Yeah, not really a whole lot from the Colts perspective that it feels like this is kind of what we think. >> Tennessee, right? That's not a secondary I'm particularly afraid of in week six, but there's nothing exciting here outside of Warren and Jonathan Taylor.

14:02Do you guys agree? >> Might be one more thing. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Tell us. >> You guys ready to do some sicko stuff right now? >> Oh, I'm ready. I'm ready for you. >> Nothing like sickos on a Monday. >> How many players are a bigger positional advantage besides Brock Bowers and Spencer Shrader right now? Baby,

14:19>> kicker talk. >> Are you guys aware of what's going on right now? >> Bring it. No. Give me then give me the team. >> But for the past four games, this is his uh fantasy points in each of those last four games. This is in a league with decimal scoring, so it may not be exactly this in your league, but it's

14:35not far off. >> But that's a So if it's like a 34 yard kick, he would get 3.4 yards. Yeah. Okay. >> 15.9, 19.7, >> 17.4, and 21.3. >> Are you kidding? You can also tell that Field had a quiet night yesterday because he got to dig into some other stat. >> I do have him in a high leverage league

14:55and it's really like he's actually put his feet on and did the work. >> I know. I mean it's amazing. So just just for context, right? Like the guy that we think many of us believe is or was often the number one drafted kicker and is the best kicker in the league is probably Brandon Aubrey. >> He's at nine fantasy points per game.

15:13>> Our guy Spencer Shrader is at 16.4 four. And I'm not even sure if that >> Let's see. Does that count uh that that may or may not >> that doesn't even factor in what we did yesterday yet. Like the guy is this is ridiculous. >> That's unbelievable. >> Okay, so a couple things here very very quickly and then I will get off my

15:30Spencer Shraar Shrader soapbox is uh he is obviously a very talented kicker, right? He has he is he's he's crushing it. He had two 50 I think it was a 57 and a 54 yard bomb yesterday. >> Unbelievable. They play he plays for a coach and Shane Stikkin >> that is going to take the points and in

15:49a league where we're seeing these coaches and it did not cost him. We'll talk about the Jaguars in a bit, but Liam Cohen had probably what at least two field goal attempts that he could have kicked. >> Sure. >> And he said, "I'm I'm going for it here." Shane Styen loves to kick field goals. So Spencer Shrader, that's two

16:07minutes on Spencer Shrader. Had to give a shout out to him. >> Also available in 46% of ESPN fantasy. I just looked it up. So that's close to 50%. Eric Moody, be on alert for your waiver article. >> Updated point to >> Well, I'm not sure what his updated point to. I was just looking to see how

16:21many players have scored at least 14 points in every single game so far this year. There's only five players in the NFL that have scored at least 14 points and then Spencer Shrader has done it four times as a kicker. >> 68 fantasy points right now in this in this league, >> which it depends on again your scoring

16:36and all that. >> Anyways, I digress. Let's talk about Eagles and Jaguars. Yeah, speaking of kickers, let's talk about this London

Eagles/Jaguars

16:43game. >> Man, >> someone give me a good Cam Little impression. Can you give me a Cam Little impression at the end? >> I thought he was going to hit the Ronaldo at the end, but the game he just sort of went the >> Yeah, he just he Yeah. >> Oh, he did the Jude Bell game. Zach is

16:56mentioning again the game was of course being played in London. >> This game took forever, by the way. We watched it the entirety of our fantasy focus countdown show on Sunday, which has never been able to happen before. The Jaguars pull this one out. Trevor Lawrence. None of this looked pretty to be honest. When you were really watching

17:10the game, it wasn't great. But for the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence, 331 passing yards with two touchdowns. From a fantasy perspective, the dude looked good if you utilized him this week. For the t the running back spot, Bashel Tutin touched the ball 24 times. Again, didn't really turn into a ton of production, but he is getting all of the

17:28volume as the guy in this back field still. It feels like >> I mean, he dominated touches yesterday. Tutin had 22 rushing attempts. Chris Rodriguez had two. Yep. And he had three targets as well for Bashel Tutin. So like he's clearly locked in as that guy. When I look at this uh receiving core, Parker Washington, clearly the only guy

17:47that like I'm trusting week in and out. >> Strange popped off. >> I'm not done yet. >> Okay. >> Brenton Strange backto-back weeks with eight targets, seven catches, and at least 13 fantasy points. Like that's awesome from a tight end perspective. Right now he's in that tight end one conversation. I believe low-end tight end one conversation especially going

18:04into week six because you'll have Travis Kelce, Sam Leapora, T.J. Hawinson and Mike Cassiki all on by. Um and Tuton as I had said 11 straight fantasy points in four straight. He just needs a touchdown. Like if he doesn't get into the end zone, he's not going to like pop off with the volume he's getting. He's getting like a decent floor for you as a

18:20low-end RB2, but if he doesn't get in the end zone, he's not getting enough receiving game work and he's not super efficient to really pay off in a major way, but he's not crushing your your fantasy squad. was a little bit like Cam Scataboo, a little bit like Chase Brown. We'll talk about Chase Brown in a little

18:35bit to um but yeah, so he's he's again he's not >> not the reason you're winning your league, but he is at least not the reason you are losing your league right now. >> The Jaguars will stay in London. >> Oh, >> another another game for them next weekend. London. >> Yeah. What was the what was the thing

18:52the sad that you had there playing >> yesterday was the start of a rip of 30 regular season games. 26 of which will be played not in Jacksonville. They're going to Orlando next year. It's a temporary home as they do stadium renovations. So between the London games and the Orlando games, a lot of games not being played in Duvall is Parker

19:12Washington. It's not the exact same type of player, but I think the player that I'm going to compare him to, and you would know this better than anybody, Daniel, I think has leveled up, which is a crazy thought because he was already amazing. He's like my he's like Almanra St. Brown now. >> He is similar to that.

19:30>> Like you know Alman Ra for a while was just basically just you know just it was a lot of stuff at or near the line of scrimmage. Now Alman Ra is being utilized in all different ways. Uh Parker is a little bit like that just like small guy not the fastest guy and yet he just like if you throw the

19:45football to him he is going to dominate. >> A similar chip on the shoulder too. Also in terms of draft capital spent, right? Like Alman Raw was very disappointed that he was drafted. He believe was a third round pick, right? >> He was drafted fourth round. >> Fourth round pick. He was upset that he fell. Parker Washington, I believe, a

20:00sixth round pick, right? So I I love the grit when these guys are like, you know what, I'm going to show you. And he's showing all of us. >> He's not getting I would love it if he got ammon Well, Aman Raw didn't get a ton of volume, but I would love it if Barker Washington got Aman Raw Staint uh

20:14Aman Raw St. Brown kind of volume. Not really doing that, but size, stature, what he does. That second touchdown. Yeah, he's beautiful. He's the man. He's making ridiculous catches. Bet on himself coming into the year, turned down an extension, and through five weeks, >> I would say that he's adding a few million dollars per year to that

20:32extension. Shout out Parker Washington. >> Yep. On the other side of this one, the Eagles looked awful. >> Um, terrible. >> Will Shipley unfortunately got hurt in this one. He was the only running back that you may have tried to roll with because both Tank Bsby and Saquon Barkley were already out. Um Damen Pierce carried the ball 11 times for 14

20:49yards. >> That's not going to do it for us. When you look at the wide receivers obviously in this game, there was no Dvonte Smith. I'm not interested right now in starting either Mai Lemon or uh Dantavian Wixs or Darius Cooper in spite of the fact that he's found the end zone again. I'm not I'm not following that. I'm not chasing

21:07the touchdowns. The real conversation for me is that Jaylen Herz just isn't a starting quarterback for us anymore. >> Who was the debate we had? Jaylen Herz, it was somebody who was like, I want to cut Jaylen Herz for this person. I think it was was it was it to cut Jaylen Herz to acquire Jacobe Brid? >> I think it was something like that.

21:23Yeah. >> And we were like, well, you can't do that with Jaylen. >> I'm not sure you can cut Jaylen. Well, I don't know. You You might be able to. Um >> Well, you might be able to because people are going to say that when Devont Smith comes back there will be a lift. But the reason is because the rushing

21:38efficiency has gone because of the offensive line absences, exits really. >> So Jaylen Herz has five straight seasons with eight plus rushing touchdowns. Up until last year, he had four straight seasons with 10 plus rushing touchdowns. He had three seasons in a row in there where he had 13 plus rushing touchdowns. That's the reason why he had all of that

21:56volume. When you look at it now, one rushing touchdown through the first five games, that means that his upside is not there. >> Do you remember that rushing touchdown, by the way? That was a rushing touchdown against the Bears on Monday night. End of the first half where they thought we thought maybe they go up and spike it to

22:10kick a field goal or run one play. Yeah. Instead, they uh they just snuck it in. Yeah. 1.5% of Jaylen Herz rushing uh excuse me, fantasy points came from rushing yesterday as he had two rushes for two yards. The days of Jaylen Herz being an elite fantasy quarterback are on ice. >> I am going to say that you can eat

22:28definitely. Clearly, obviously, Benjamin, I'm okay with you cutting him right now. Now he is quarterback 20, averaging 0.2 more fantasy points per game than Deshun Watson >> and averaging 0.6 less fantasy points per game than Aaron Rogers. >> He he is not it right now. That much is for sure. Hopefully things bounce back, but it is not looking good right now.

22:48>> Speaking of a bounceback field, did you know that you cannot win at a football game? Um, I was not aware actually our friend uh Pat Dhy does an amazing job over wrote a world had a tweet that um only the N it's something to the effect of like only the NFC East could find a way to go winless as a division in a

23:05week in which they had two teams playing each other. >> It's unbelievable. >> Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Giants

Commanders/Giants

23:10combined for zero wins yesterday. >> We were in the war room. Field was at home because he was on daddy duty while also watching. And being in the war room while this happened, Field, I so desperately wish you were there. It lost its mind. It must have been the perfect >> poor memory. >> Yes, absolutely. >> I just I can't get over

23:27>> this is not a fantasy conversation. Just the way the game ended. >> Frankly, I think it's Jaden Daniels responsibility to be honest with you. I just I think awareness. >> Yeah, I think so. I mean, I think if this were Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, we'd be saying like, how on earth do you not know that?

23:39That's fundamental. >> You are the leader of this franchise. Y >> I don't know. He protected his elbow. I'm not getting mad. >> Okay. But they also tied. Um it's they should have won that game. As far as this game, um, it brings me great joy to say that Malik Neighbors is back. >> Oh my gosh. >> Back-to-back monster weeks for Malik

23:54Neighbors. Looked awesome. >> He had 20 targets yesterday, guys. >> 20 targets. Now, Jameus Winston threw the ball 54 times. So, ton of opportunity there. He had 20 targets. He looks great. The weather was awful for much of this game and he still managed 121 receiving yards, 11 catches. He was sensational. He and Isaiah Likely form

24:16one of the most enjoyable wide receiver tight end duos to watch right now in the NFL. Isaiah likely who had 13 targets of his own, 11 catches for 94 yards, two touchdowns, incredible value at tight end. Tight end one for the week and I don't think that's going to change tonight. >> Obviously Brock Bowers, obviously Trey

24:36McBride, Isaiah Likely is in that next tier. Whether you want to call that a oneman tier of just Isaiah likely, whether you want to include George KD, whether you think Tyler Warren's good enough to be in that tier, I don't know. But Isaiah likely has been amazing. He's going nowhere. He is with all those those Giants injuries. And by the way,

24:54they draw the Saints next week who the Saints have been awful against the run, >> but they have not been efficient at all against the pass, so they can move the ball through the air. Um, on the running back front, Cam Scataboo fumbled in uh in overtime. Yeah, >> he did see Oh, >> had the exact same tweet too as had a

25:13Sorry, I I saw Pat's first, but um that is Mina on top of it. Best absolute legend Mina Kimes. Great tweet there as well. Um Cam Scaboo played a ton of snaps yesterday. Oh my god, >> Jaden Daniels. I'm sure no one can win in week five out of respect for Jaden Daniels. It's a great >> man. I got to spend more time on that.

25:34>> That is in the lore. Wow. That is amazing right there. >> Um, Scatter played a ton of snaps for the Giants. Continues his remarkably inefficient season though. 7.1 fantasy points in PPR. >> I think so. Liz and I talked about this a little bit. I believe Cam Scaboo played 61% of the snaps and both the other guys played like under 20.

25:52>> Yeah, it was 63.1 for Scaboo and 19 each for Naji. There you go. A little frustrating to see like Isaiah likely being like targeted on bubble screens when I'm like Cam Scatter's right there. >> Please just give the ball to Cam Scaboo. Just let him fall on the go line. What are we doing, Jameus? >> Yeah,

26:06>> you know, the the reason if you survive week five and you're looking for a silver lining, I mentioned they play the Saints next week and that maybe that's the week that he gets it going, but he has had one of the more disappointing seasons for any running back in the NFL. >> How many targets did you say for Malik

26:19Neighbors and >> 20 for Malik Neighbors, 13 for Isaiah likely. >> So, 33 of the 54 passes went to those two. That's unbelievable. >> Vintage Jameus Winston game there. I mean, just he kept both teams in this game >> down to the jawing with Darnell. The whole thing >> top to bottom. Uh Jaden Daniels. This was awesome to see. Yes, Jaden Daniels.

26:37The end of the game was obviously a massive flub, but he was really efficient as a passer. 17 for 25 for 199 yards. But more importantly, nine rushes, 103 yards, two rushing touchdowns. So Jaden Daniels, currently quarterback two for the week. That's pending Monday Night Football. Besides Jaden though, nobody in this Washington

26:58offense week in and week out is the kind of player that you're like, I'm definitely trusting it. Right. No Stfan Diggs yesterday and Terry McLaren 12.2 fantasy points. Fine, not great. Been kind of a hoham season for Terry for sure. Bill Crosky Merritt had a long rushing touchdown, but do you really want Bill Crosky Merritt as your go-to

27:16running back? >> I started him because I had to and I got lucky. He got in the end zone this last week. That's what I was hoping for. >> Zero targets yesterday for for Bill Crosky Merritt. So, it was great to see Jaden bounce back. But the Commanders, for the most part, a stayaway offense. Even if Jaden Daniels is banged up, even

27:31if you're concerned about the elbow, if he is healthy and out there on the field, this is the kind of game that he can deliver. Yeah. I'm I don't feel uncomfortable about playing Jane Daniels. There's a chance with him or any quarterback that halfway through a game he gets hurt and he may but like >> I'm not going to have that fear in my

27:45head as I'm starting Jaden Daniels. This is why he is your starting quarterback in >> Monday Night Football next week at San Francisco for Jaden and the Commanders. Let's go to the Bears and the Packers. Liz, I'm sorry you have to do this. I was going to say, do we have to? >> Um, well, I'm just going to get the

27:58score out of the way. It was Packers 31,

Packers/Bears

28:01Bears >> a seven. Um, let's start with some positives, at least from a fantasy perspective. I am absolutely loving this concentrated target tree from Green Bay. We haven't seen it in a minute, and it is legit. Christian Watson led the team in looks and receiving yards. He caught six of eight for 143, I like to call

28:21that, and I love you. and two touchdowns. That was good for 32.3 fantasy points. Second time all season, by the way, he's cleared 30 fantasy points. The last time was week one against another division opponent, the Vikings. Also impressive when we're talking about Brian Flores's defense. >> Yes. >> Yes. You're looking at me quizzically. >> Yeah, I am. I'm going to let you finish

28:39your sentence. Why is 143 I love you? >> One letter for I. >> Four for love. >> Oh my gosh, guys. That's so cute. You didn't know that? We kind of think you definitely >> I like said it on last night's show and you didn't I let it roll. Okay. Oh, you're just like she's >> Well, I didn't want to look silly on

28:54last night's show, so I decided to wait until today. >> So, you you made a clown of yourself in front of field. >> In front of fields. Yes, exactly. >> You know what? It was golden vulnerability. And Matthew was also golden. Even though he had one fewer target than Christian Watson, he converted six of seven for 123. That is

29:10not And I love you. No, that's a IU. I I I don't know what you um for 20.3 fantasy points. There you go. I to you. >> I to you. Um he has managed seven or more targets in four of his first five games. He's also cleared 100 yards in two of five efforts. Now the debate between which one of these is the team's

29:32true number one I don't care about. Watson's going to see more of the high value looks. Probably Golden will see more overall looks. Fine if you drafted both of them especially given where you drafted them. >> Good match up next Sunday against the Cowboys. >> That is true too. Backfield struggle just in terms of efficiency as we've

29:47seen. averaging just 2.7 yards per carry as a whole. But Marshon Lloyd, little tiny shout out, did manage two rushing scores on 10 totes. First time he scored since week two and that was at the Jets. I like the matchup for him, especially with those teams on a buy that we mentioned. People having volatility and question marks at the running back

30:05position. He might be someone that you roll out. Jordan Love recorded his best fantasy outing of the season, 25 fantasy points. He cleared 360 passing yards and tossed two touchdowns. look good. >> All right, so that's the good stuff. >> Okay, >> let's talk about the Bears. Um, we'll be quick here. Luther Burden led the team in targets. He converted four of six for

30:2547 receiving yards. Romo Dunce only managed three catches and 40 receiving yards on nine looks. I hate that. Coloulston Lovelin caught two of five for 19 receiving yards. DeAndre Swift was the star. Again, it needs to be stated obviously that Kyle Manungai was sidelined for this one. He eaked out 43

30:45rushing yards and a score on nine carries. Also managed four catches and 30 yards through the air. That was good for 17.3 fantasy points. Caleb Williams, please come back soon. >> Let me ask you this question, guys. With how bad the Bears offense looks right now and knowing that Caleb Williams is coming back, would you put in buy low

31:03offers on some of these guys because managers are like, I want out. I want out, but we think something better is on the horizon with the QB returning. >> Definitely possible. Definitely I would. Um, you know what's amazing about the Bears? And Liz, you know this better than probably anybody is it just feels like the Bears recently when they lose,

31:17they lose in like >> spectacular fashion. >> It's like we just they're such a feast or famine team. Yeah. >> Right. It's it's not like hey, you know, we like the the Minnesota game which which Caleb got hurt in. It was like a total no-show offensive effort. >> And then the other three games, they've been really good on offense, right? The

31:33Case Keenum game and last week Tyson Beijing and week one against the Panthers. So, a hard team to figure out, but it sounds like Caleb Williams has a real chance to play next week against the Falcons. They then play on Thursday night against the Patriots. So, two big opportunities in a short period of time for the Bears to kind of get this

31:50offense rolling. >> All right, next one here. Field Yates.

Browns/Jets

31:53Browns and Jets. We can probably be pretty quick on this one. >> We can. The Jets get a good win. The Jets are now two and three. And coming into the season, there was one thing and one thing more so than anything else that we wanted from this Jets offense. Gino Smith, keep Garrett Wilson afloat. Well, 11 of his 30 passing attempts went

32:10to Garrett Wilson. Seven catches, 104 yards, and a touchdown. Wilson looked awesome yesterday, as did his teammate Brilen Allen. >> Yeah, he did. >> Was playing all the snaps without Bree without Bree Hall. He had 24 rushes for 116 yards. He had zero receiving yards, but he found the end zone. So, he is currently RB6 on the day. They play the

32:32Patriots next week. a very tough run defense. And if Bree Hall is back, then Brilan Allen goes back to zero value. But he has done a more than serviceable job filling in for Bree Hall since Hall hurt himself a couple of weeks back. The Browns are just a flat mess right now in the backfield. So Quinnon Judkins left

32:51the game yesterday. He had 14 rushes for 44 yards. He had three catches for six yards. >> He got hurt. He left the stadium in a walking boot. Certainly sounds like missing time is on the table. Our guy Raheem Sanders, he steps into a bigger role. He has three carries. He runs nine routes. He's been a part of this Browns

33:10offense. Kind of a pass catcher. >> He leaves the game because of a hip injury. The Browns are down to like literally practice squad level players in the back field right now. So, it would be great to have more information later today from Todd Monkin on the severity of those running back injuries. But the Browns, a team that, you know,

33:27we've already dealt with injury attrition. Dylan Samson missed one game. We already been dealing with injury attrition there in the backfield. Even more of it coming our way for the Browns. Feels like the player that you most want to roster right now for the Cleveland Browns in fantasy. >> It's actually Denzel Boston. Another good game for him. Three for 46 and a

33:46touchdown. 13.6 fantasy points. Harold Fannon Jr. has just 1.4 fantasy points. >> Fannon kind of bailed out last week as well with a short touchdown. Casey Conpsion got hurt. He had a concussion. So, he's out. He was out for much of the game. Uh Denzel Boston, the most exciting player on this Browns young offense. Uh disappointing kind of an egg

34:08laid by the Browns who had a chance to have a four-game winning streak for the first time in a few years. So, Cleveland uh with the backfield uncertainty, the best player for fantasy, Quinn Sean Judkins, now a big cloud hanging over him for week six. Is there any truth to the rumor field that NFL fantasy hall of

34:25famer Pton Hillis is thinking about signing with this team in order to roll it out? >> So thin right now for the Browns. I think you know next man up would be Jared Patterson. We'll have to check to see where Dylan Samson's at healthwise. That's right. >> But it is brutal right now. The Browns probably scouring the waiverwire this

34:40week for backfield options. >> Doesn't feel great. Speaking of scouring the waiverwire for backfield options, if I've got Chase Brown, >> that's felt great. I mean, last week wasn't too bad, but this week, Liz, this

Bengals/Dolphins

34:52was the Dolphins. >> Yeah. Let's get into Bengals Dolphins. Bengals did come away victorious in this one, 31 to 24. Um, >> Joe Burrow, I want to start with, though, let's let's let's start at the top. Okay. He only threw for 190 yards, but he tossed four touchdowns, managing nearly 25 fantasy points. Those touchdowns went to unsurprisingly Jamar

35:12Chase more surprisingly Sam perin even more surprisingly Tanner Hudson and then Micahi gets a score in a revenge game against his old team. So that was nice. Let's start with Jamar Chase. I don't think anyone's there. There were questions about whether or not he would play because he was in the protocol. He came in healthy, converted six of 10. We

35:30love double digit targets. 77 receiving yards in that affforementioned touchdown. Nearly 20 fantasy points in this one. He is automatic. Chase Brown. This is there's a lot in this matchup that's been triggering you. Well, we'll start with Cincinnati. Chase Brown, your guy flag two years in a row. He struggled. He is driving that bus, friend. 16 touches for 60 scrimmage

35:49yards, seven fantasy points. This is now his second singledigit fantasy total over the last three weeks. >> And this was supposed to be the game that he smashes. It's the Miami Dolphins. People don't throw four passing touchdowns against the Dolphins. They run for four rushing touchdowns. >> Yeah. >> So, how are you feeling moving? sound like I'm feeling.

36:07>> Well, it doesn't feel great. They they are on buy in week six. Cincinnati is as is Miami. So, there's a moment to maybe retool, get things back together, and then we'll regroup in week seven. There's plenty of time. >> Chase Brown, as disappointing as sometimes as games are, he's still on a team, one of the highest scoring teams

36:22in the NFL as a passcatching running back that's still going to even though, you know, Samaji Piran got the goal line work. >> You're going to keep rolling him out there even if there's a disappointing game here and there. >> Again, another one of those versatile players. Um, speaking of a dual threat player, let's talk about Malik Willis,

36:36who was kind of doing what we wanted Malik Willis to do in this effort. >> He didn't do much through the air. We don't really expect that, right? 15 of 27 for 137 passing yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, but he did produce on the ground eight carries for 74 rushing yards and a rushing score that was good

36:53for 18.8 fantasy points. Again, what we wanted out of him, what we thought could be possible, he's delivering. Malik Washington, just a quick mention, remains uh Willis's favorite target. A double double Malik W. Malik W both times. Um he caught uh what six of eight balls for 43 receiving

37:15yards, but has yet to find the end zone. I thought it could really happen in this matchup given uh the Bengals defense. But >> finally, let's end on the one bright spot. Olly Gordon. I know you're I know you're shaking your head cuz it keeps triggering you. 88 rushing yards and a score on 18 carries, 14.8 fantasy

37:33points. He has now managed a rushing touchdown in three straight games. His third straight effort with 14 or more fantasy points. >> This is a sixthround pick doing what Devon Achan couldn't. >> And I think that is what is soounding triggering to so many. >> I don't want to like I just don't think that the skill set is here for Ali

37:54Gordon to continue this over the course of the season. I know that's >> you only know what you know. >> I just it's what did Devon Han get bad at football? Did Did they change something after he got hurt and now they're running? >> I don't think so. >> Difference in skill sets here. >> Playing a touch better defensively. Um a

38:11touch, not not a lot, but a touch better defensively. And I think teams honestly let their guard down against the Dolphins. >> That's a fair win. It's a trap game every week. >> Kind of a trap game every week. Yeah. Maybe Dewan Han just kind of got unlucky and Ollie Gordon has gotten lucky. I you know he's a

38:29>> lowend RB2 week in and week out. He's getting minimal I mean just nothing in the passing game. He's got to fall into the end zone. >> So with him being able to do this he's done this because he's gotten into the end zone and if he's like he's touchdown dependent which is kind of what Devon Chan had turned out to be in the

38:42beginning because he wasn't getting as much of the receiving game work as I had. So >> yep running backs have we now just said are touchdown dependent. Well, a lot >> basically 15 of the >> We're halfway through the show of the top 23 Gibbs, Bejian Robinson, Christian McAffrey, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, and then it's >> they're not catching balls. They're

38:59touchdown dependent. There's so many of them. >> Another touchdown dependent running back unfortunately got banged up this week in Houston. Texans and Titans, we can be quick on this one. David Montgomery

Texans/Titans

39:08unfortunately got banged up. Had been struggling and trending the wrong direction unfortunately as an RB2 with us. Um, obviously Woody Marks comes in and touches the ball at plays every snap once David Montgomery gets hurt. He's going to be a very heavily added waiver target this week. Available in over 50% of leagues. We will spend a lot of time

39:25tomorrow talking about him. >> CJ Strad scored 20.9 fantasy points. Back-to-back weeks with over 20 fantasy points. >> It helped that he got six points from a rushing touchdown. >> Those count, >> but they count. So, we'll see how that works obviously moving forward. But I think the big thing that we and you know, Nico is Nico regardless of what he

39:41looked like, Nico Collins is going to keep being that guy. The big news here

Marvin Harrison Jr traded to the Houston Texans

39:45is that this team traded for Marvin Harrison Jr. >> Yeah, baby. >> Trying to figure out what this is going to look like moving forward. Obviously, didn't mean anything for us now. But just opening up a conversation about the offense, guys. You add Marvin Harrison Jr. If you were a Marvin Harrison Jr. manager, you're pumped because you're at

39:59least, hey, I'm in a new spot. I have I have potentially unlocked, right? Exactly. >> Are you going to wait and see a couple weeks if you are a Marvin Harrison Junior manager before you roll him out there? >> Definitely. Okay. >> Yeah. kind of an unusual week for them, by the way. He's going all the way to

40:15London for his first game. So, he's got to get to Houston today. Got to like practice with the team this week. I'm sure he'll play on Sunday, but I expect a very limited I expect a limited role for Marvin Harrison Jr. But this is where like the the test going forward is going to be whether Marvin Harrison Jr.

40:31is as advertised skill set wise >> because if he fails in two separate teams and and I grant you that like >> I wouldn't say that Houston has necessarily been this is not going to like the LA Rams where it's like if you go and you play with Shawn McVey and you can't get it done there then it's

40:45probably a you problem not a Shawn McVey problem he's got a big sample size there but we're going to find out about Marvin Harrison Jr. But the theoretical value he has now in Houston is better than the zero value he has in Arizona. >> I'm willing to eat a huge game on my bench because I want to see it before I

41:01believe it. I'm okay with that if it happens with me with Marvin. >> I think that that's the conversation you have to have with yourself and you know it's interesting because obviously we know this team needed depth at the receiver position and with them maybe not in this effort but with their defense regressing their their secondary regressing as much as it did they will

41:19need to be chasing some points. So there is some added boost there potentially like Field said perfectly theoretically for MHJ. >> By the way, um this feels like the trade I get it. Houston will tell you we made this trade about the long term. He's very talented player. >> This trade becomes much more interesting >> if the Texans win on Sunday in in in

41:38London against Jackson. I agree >> because they would then be, you know, just two games back of the Jaguars. Yep. >> We'll see what happens with both Indianapolis and Tennessee. They play each other. So, I presume Indianapolis will be 3 and three, but Houston, we get right back into the mix with the win on Sunday in London.

41:55>> On the other side of this one, unfortunately and quickly, Tennessee Titans were awful. And we thought this was going to be a potential smash spot for Carnell Tate given what wide receivers had done against the Texans so far. At least 18 fantasy points, >> one catch here in this game. It just >> didn't look great. I think this is part

42:11of what's potentially going to happen in this Titans offense. You're going to have some weeks where they just don't look great. You're going to have some boom weeks where Carnell Tate does the things that we looked at, but I think you're going to be in this spot where >> even if you feel like this is one of

42:24those good games, this offense isn't as good as some of the others in the NFL. It's not just >> easier to take away a number one where there's a clear number one, right? And a struggling quarterback, a streaky quarterback. >> And Taj Spears had a >> I was just laughing. He had nine catches yesterday. >> Yeah. A bunch in the receiving, but like

42:40they don't have a a fantastic run game either to stabilize. >> Yeah. So, it's it's a tough one right now if you were a Titans fan. Carnell Tate, the only guy that we are hoping maybe gets back on track. Well, Well Robinson, but I've sort of lost my Wel Robinson faith through the first five weeks of the season.

42:53>> Same here. >> Let's talk about Viking Saints. Oh, I got a back-to-back game. Sorry, guys. I didn't realize I was back to back here. Vikings and Saints as well. >> See you, buddy. >> Vikings have a buy in week six for what it's worth. As a reminder, Justin

Vikings/Saints

43:04Jefferson 18 fantasy points. You love to be able to see that. Aaron Jones over a 100 rushing yards and a touchdown, which is big because they're going on to a buy this week. And once they come back from a buy, we're going to assume that Jordan Mason at least has a chance to be a part of this backfield again.

43:18>> Sounds like he will be back in what will be week seven. >> Week seven. Um, so I'm not sure that we're going to see Aaron Jones delivering this level of value for our fantasy squads and moving forward. Hopefully you got the last of it here in week five and it helped you out. Kyler didn't look terrible. 18.2 fantasy

43:32points as well. Do you believe that when you look at Kyler Murray, he's someone that you would I mean, this was against the Saints. Yes, that's the problem. >> That's okay. >> Yes, he could play with 80% of his passes. I wouldn't say that Kyler has been a particularly impressive passer so far this year. >> He still struggled downfield is what I

43:46was saying. He could his legs are back, but you know. >> Oh, it's so >> It also was I I would say it was more a testament to Justin Jefferson. The touchdown to Jefferson. There are three defenders all the way around. >> Unbelievable. >> Ridiculous play by Jefferson. Probably ill-advised throw by Kyler, but it still works. I have I do not have faith in

44:02Kyler Murray as my quarterback at all. Even with what we saw yesterday, >> through three full healthy games, Kyler has two passing touchdowns so far. So, it's it doesn't feel great right now with what we're doing. On the other side of this one, >> Tyler Shuck, who I think we all love, >> Mhm. >> looked rough. >> Awful.

44:19>> Negative fantasy points in this game, guys. >> Yes. His quarterback 31 on the week >> and 28 have played so far. >> That's >> so Fernando Mendoza and Case Keenum outscored Tyler Shuck. >> Case Keenum barely outscored Tyler Shuck. >> Barely. But yes, >> but he did. Yes. I mean, it's preposterous. And we told you, we came

44:37into the weekend and we said, you know what? Let's talk about the Saints offense and let's see what they're made of this week. I didn't think we could talk about negative fantasy points or >> No. Brian Flores, >> we saw the matchup >> blitzed him at a 90% rate. >> He's a mad man. >> Unbelievable. This is what I'm going to

44:53say is just it's a throwaway game in my estimation from a fantasy perspective. I like Tyler Shuck more than this. I like Chris Ov more than this. I like Joan Johnson more than this. This game is just a throwaway game. It was not good against a really tough Vikings defense. Hopefully better days are ahead. >> Uh the only thing there that again

45:07they're kind of a low upside running back room as in general, but Alvin Chimera seated some snaps yesterday. I wonder if you know he back >> back injury. Um >> Chimera sort of hanging on by a thread as it is. If if it's going to be like that, like if he's still managing this back for the next few weeks only

45:26decreases the chances of Alvin Chimera having any chance. I know that I I'm probably overdoing it with my expectations, but the Saints got to freaking lean into Trevor Travis Han when he gets back. >> You You have to. It's >> so obvious how much they need an actual running back to help them out on offense. We'll see whether they do when

45:43he is back. >> Well, let's hope Kellen Moore takes the note. Um

Cardinals/Lions

45:47>> let's talk about the Lions, Daniel, your Lions and the Cardinals 45-21. Congratulations. Uh Dan Campbell's Bellcow continued to eat 25 carries for 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Another five catches on top of that for 56 receiving yards. 37.7

46:08fantasy point. This this is his third game in five that have gone over 30 fantasy points. Absolutely ridiculous. Sonic all the way. Jared Goff also I think this has been a bit surprising. He acquitted himself quite well in this matchup. He threw for a mistakefree 271 yards, three touchdowns, 28.9 fantasy

46:30points. Don't look now, but Jared Goff is the QB3. You had it up in fantasy. I thought you were saying you love me. >> Fantasy points per game. Um I'm Ross St. Brown. We will forgive him for this. He got going a little bit late, but we'll take it. He converted six of 11 for 69 receiving yards. That

46:49was good for nearly 13 fantasy points. He's allowed Sam Laaporta. This is one call that I made that actually turned out right heading into this week. Thank you. Uh he put together another monster effort. Led the team in receiving yards with 88 on five grabs. 19.8 fantasy points. That's three games above 17 fantasy points for Leaporta. Now his

47:10back, his hip ain't nothing. He is fine. And Jameson Williams, some might say that he got lucky. Others would say that he was due only two catches, but both of them in the end zone for a cool 18.7 fantasy points. This is the JMO coaster, my friend. Also, I looked this up

47:31because I wanted to see how involved he was. Uh Jamus W Jamus Williams right now the wide receiver five in routes run just behind Aman Ross St. Brown. >> That's out there a bunch and being utilized within that offense. Yep. >> Jared Goff 12 passing touchdowns, zero interceptions. Look at the smile on his face. >> Plus a rushing touchdown. It was

47:51>> one of our friends in the Michigan Ben chat is always questioning Jared Goff. >> Um I believe it is uh Josh is the one. Yes, Josh. The >> skeptic. >> Yes, he is the He has been the Jared Goff skeptic. >> Is it because Goff definitely needs his mittens when he plays outside. >> You know what? He's got mittens right

48:06now. I'll take this man to to start the season. And obviously when you don't have this rushing upside what he's doing right now is kind of Matthew Staffordesque from last year without any legs whatsoever. But both Matthew Stafford last year and Jared Goff this year, they have the offense that they could do it. It's just a difficult thing

48:21to do. >> All takes for the year. Remember, was Jared and Jared Goff's defense is helping him continue to throw. So, uh, if you did, speaking of the, uh, Detroit Lions defense, stream Jacobe Brassette because of the matchup, you were rewarded. It was not pretty to watch necessarily, but the numbers were the numbers. He threw the ball 47 times in

48:39catch-up mode, managed 29 completions for 292 passing yards, three touchdowns. Once again, one interception, also caught a pass for seven yards thrown by Michael Wilson. He's the QB6 heading into Monday Night Football. >> So, um, I was working on my week six quarterback rankings and I have B, who faces the Lions next week as quarterback

48:59three. >> That's me. That's so mean. I mean, I love it. >> Yeah, we don't get the Lions to stream again, but we don't get the Vikings to stay away against. >> I want my DFS stack this week, and I don't have a DFS stack against Detroit either because of it. Unsurprisingly, Trey McBride led the Cardinals in

49:15targets with 10. He ended up with nine grabs, 66 receiving yards, and a touchdown. That's his third score of the season. 21.6 fantasy points. Uh, somebody I believe he directed Reservoir Dogs called Tegan Quintono. >> Yes. Quinton Tarantino. Yes. Yes. Yes. >> He hauled in two of Brtt's three touchdowns for 15.5 fantasy points. What

49:36the fantasy? Okay, fine. Also, he entered Sunday having recorded just two receptions since the beginning of 2023. So, there you go. Normal stuff. Um, the takeaway here is that Detroit continues to be a boon to the tight end position. Uh, speaking of movies, the Bourne Identity franchise, >> oh my gosh, >> was resuscitated in the desert because

49:55Kendrick Bourne made a appearance second in team targets with eight looks. Ended the day with five catches for 70 receiving yards. might be the tomb team's new wide receiver too with MHJ out the door. Um, and I don't want to end this long shot on a wamp wamp. Yeah, something to keep an eye on. >> Yeah, this is a massive story.

50:13>> Uh, Jeremiah Love struggled again. >> Mhm. >> Game script didn't help him, but just 22 rushing yards on 12 totes. That's 1.8 yards. >> But isn't it supposed to help him? >> Yes, I was going to say that because the back >> because of the passing. >> Yeah, cuz Tyler Algier to me is not the receiving game back. If you're down the

50:29entire game, I would think Jeremiah Love would be a part of this offense. >> So, like, here's the only thing that I'll say about Jeremiah Love. The only thing that the Cardinals could say right now that would make me feel a little more at ease is, hey, listen, man. He's really banged up right now. That foot or

50:43that ankle is so bad, we just can't tell you about it. That doesn't seem to be the case. No. But over the past two weeks, Jeremiah Love has negative8 receiving yards. He's yet to reach 20 receiving yards in a game this season. And I posted this on social media and some people were like, "Well, we overuse the term weapon in pre-draft discourse

51:02about running backs." Okay, I'm not asking for them to line Jeremiah Love up opposite of Michael Wilson to play wide receiver. No, >> I I'm hoping for positive receiving yards. Like, how did they utilize Jir Gibbs and Bejian Robinson in their respective offenses? Very creatively in the passing game. He had Jir Gibbs had five catches for 56 yards yesterday. And

51:23you don't bat an eyelash. You're just like, that's what you do when you have a guy like Jamir Gibbs. What is the point of making this investment in Jeremiah Love >> to not utilize and I I get it. Tyler Algier's fine. Okay, I'm not asking for 30 carries a game for Jeremiah Love, >> but if you're even if you're going to

51:39use him as a part-time player, wouldn't the part of part-time be the receiving opportunity? >> Well, you're not asking for 30 carries, but you might be asking for close to 30 touches. And I think that's the argument. And the argument also around him is not dissimilar than the one we had about Ashton Genty at the top of the

51:53show. Yeah. >> Do you just give him a week to get healthy >> and figure it out? >> Yeah. >> The Genty thing seems like a legitimate like he's really playing through it. >> Do you think my love is like I think this just might be a really bad offense, but they score a lot of points. >> The broadcast crew was speculating about

52:09it quite loudly. I don't know if you're right if that's an excuse. >> The best part of draft if you're going to take a running back early, you got to get the most out of that player >> during the first four to six years of his career. >> There's a long ways to go for Jeremiah Love. You just hope they don't punt on

52:23this rookie season. >> You mention I mean when you look at Jir Gibbs and Bjan Robinson, both running backs who were drafted early in the first round by their franchises, they are they are locked in on exactly what Field is talking about. We are going to find ways to put the balls in the hands of the guys.

52:37>> Yeah, you got to pay or play. >> Let's talk about the Broncos and Chargers.

Broncos/Chargers

52:41>> Are we just going to pass on basically both of these entire offenses, guys? Can we be honest about this? I >> I think Yeah, I think we reached the point where we can just be very succinct about everything involving the Chargers. Yes, Chargers is super easy. Justin Herbert, I'm out. I can cut him. It's not even just a bench. We're done there.

52:57From a running back perspective. Kamani Vidal scored a touchdown. Got 12.6 fantasy points. They're utilizing Katon Mitchell. Sometimes you see some explosive plays out of him. They're also giving the ball to Omar and Hampton. It's a full-on committee. All three of them struggle. I don't want to play any of these guys unless I have to. >> I I think the question with Omar

53:12Hampton, unfortunately, has has veered into this territory. Is the role's not going to be good. He played 32% of the snaps yesterday. um the touchdown upside's going to be low is the question is how good of a player is he >> right it's like we've had a few separate opportunities this year where it's like wow that was a legitimately really great

53:29play by Kamani Vidal why don't we stumble into one of those for the form Hampton >> I hear that question I hear that question I think about what he did last year and think to myself boy I'm not sure I've seen someone bury an offense as badly as Mike McDaniel has so far >> I hear you it's it's

53:46>> I mean with the expectations >> for our purposes is none of them are worth a squat. None of them nothing. Not not one Charger is worth discussing until further notice. >> Even Lad Manki, the only way that I would play Lad Mani is if he was completely fully healthy. Full practice, full practice, full practice, full practice.

54:02>> Transparency about that. >> Correct. And I'm on by weeks. Yes. And I have to then be like, "All right, well, I guess I have to start him, but at least he's fully healthy in this matchup." He was active and played zero snaps yesterday, which Adam Shester kind of warned us. But anyways, Chargers, let's just not bring up the Chargers

54:16until further notice. They put are out and Denver's roulette. >> Yeah, honest. Bon Knicks under 14 and a half fantasy points in all but one game so far this year. I don't want to start him if I don't have to. The running back situations, this is one of the running back dead zones that we've talked about. I know got in the end zone,

54:30>> but it took him getting into the end zone, >> but it took him getting in the end zone. And then you look at the other two guys. Courtland Sutton got in the end zone also and finished with what? You get six points plus a catch, that's seven points just for a touchdown catch. He finished with 9.8. Uh, I'm not saying that Davis

54:44Webb was doing a good job, but it's very clear to me that the biggest problem in Denver was not just the play call. No on offense. No, no. We talked about this under center. >> He I think Shawn Payeyton had in the first half, was it the first half? He had like seven people with carries and nine different players with that had

54:59like a a target or something like that. >> It's all bad. >> It was just spraying around. >> 16 different players on offense were utilized. >> Both of these offenses, the Broncos and the Chargers are I hope I don't have to start anyone in fantasy. And if I do, it's because I probably have no other better options on my squad. But right

55:13now, we're just in a stayaway mode for

49ers/Seahawks

55:15both these squads. >> Agreed on that. The Niners and Seahawks play a great game. Came down to a measurement uh of Cooper Cup, who was it was ruled short on the field. Ended up being short if the Seahawks had converted. Maybe they kicked J uh Jason Meyer's sixth field goal of the day. But the Niners win 32 to 29. We talked about

55:34Brock Perie maybe being in a tough spot in this game. >> 16 points, 16 fantasy points. Not bad. No, definitely not like a great effort from Brock Perie. We told you kind of be aware of this. He was helped because they had an 11 yard touchdown drive at the beginning of the game. Sam Darnold was all over the place. He had two bad

55:50interceptions yesterday. Uh but let's talk about the Niners. Christian McCaffrey just sort of right there in the mix. It's like a mid He's, you know, somewhere between, I don't know, >> he's not RB one, two or three. Yeah. He's somewhere between RB4 and on the low end RB6. Yeah. Right. 15 receiving yards. >> I I feel less I understand where you're

56:11coming from. I'm not as >> Who would you rather have be ahead of him? Like who's definitely ahead of him amongst running backs? >> The two >> Jonathan Taylor. No. >> No. >> Right. Is it >> KW >> KW3? >> Yes. He's one, two, three. It's Bejian Gibbs. It's Gibbs. Bejan. Can Walker the third? One, two, three. Whatever order

56:26you want. >> It's not James Cook. It's not Jonathan Taylor. >> Wait, you're saying I don't want those people over Christian McCaffrey? might want definitively want them over Jonath Chris >> McAffrey. I think you don't definitively want them. >> All right, that's fine. I mean, >> I would rather I might rather have Kairen Williams right now. I'd rather

56:43have Derrick Henry. >> Okay, interesting. All right. Well, CMC right there close to it. We don't have to >> litigate it. >> The bottom line is CMC once again yesterday over 17 fantasy points. He had played 80% of the snaps when games matter. Christian McCaffrey is going to play a difficult matchup. We've as well. >> Very tough match up. Mike Evans turned

57:01the clock back yesterday. He was ridiculous. 26.3 fantasy points. I know that was all time taunt of Trayvon Diggs. He's been great. One of the great values. And he's the only man in the back of his jersey of this Niners wide receiver room. Debo Samuel gets hurt. Hamstring injury already ruled out. Brandon Cooks had a touchdown today.

57:19People were like, "Wait." So George KD had kind of a dud yesterday. Five for 24 an illness. >> Yeah. Uh but guys, Mike Evans amazing for the niners. It's going to be CMC. It's going to be pretty. It's going to be KD. And with all the injuries, it's going to be Mike Evans next week. Uh Seahawks, we had a problem here. Uh the

57:37problem is not Jackson Smith and Jigba. He was awesome once again. Uh five for 102 with a touchdown. Also had play. It was it almost looked like a Sam Darnold pass, but it was ruled a rush. So this could have easily been an extra. It could have been 23.8 points as opposed to 22.8 points. Um he's great. They play

57:53on Thursday night. Would it surprise me if JSN is a DNP today and tomorrow in practice because he he was clearly battling something with his ankle yesterday. Yeah. Um Fox broadcast Brady and Burkhard all over this and he he kept he was they said he was refusing medical attention, not sounding the alarms for Thursday night and not

58:12playing. But if you see DMP DMP, don't be shocked. Uh the Seahawks have a backfield problem. Nobody can the ball. I mean guys, it was a comedy of errors yesterday. >> George Alani had two fumbles. He had one fumble that he recovered, one that he did not recover, and the Niners recovered it >> for a touchdown at the end of the first

58:30half. U I don't know where the answers come from, whether Zack Charbanet comes back soon, but it's still until Zack Charbanet or somebody else has added the Emanuel Wilson show. He ends up with third uh 13.2 fantasy points. But for the Seahawks, really, it's Emanuel Wilson and then I mean, it's JSN. >> It's JSN. >> It's JSN, right? And then it's Emanuel

58:49Wilson on the periphery. So, um, no major surprises there for Seattle otherwise. >> Yep. Let's talk about Ravens and Falcons, my friend. >> Finish to the night last night. >> Very fun finish. Snoop Huntley, guys,

Ravens/Falcons

59:00had a I mean, first off, looks great running the ball, but that man can throw some piss missiles, let me tell you. 24 fantasy points. Absolutely crushes in this one. If you got Derrick Henry, Dererick Henry had 102 receiving yards. Does that say a receiving touchdown next to his box score? It sure does. >> Yes, it does. We love it when that

59:17happens with big Derrick Henry. Tyler Huntley honestly looked fantastic. 24 for 32, 201 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown. I mean, this is like this is everything you could ever want. He got Z Flowers involved, which as a part of it, the two guys that we want to make sure are still involved. If there's not Lamar Jackson,

59:35it's Z Flowers and Derrick Henry. Both of those guys still eight. We love that. and Snoop, if for some reason he has to roll it back and Lamar misses more time, give me a little bit more um excitement to potentially utilize him in as a streaming option in upcoming weeks. >> I think I almost my eyes were deceiving

59:50me for a while, but I think I almost saw Kyle Pitt score a touchdown last night. It was somebody looked like him. >> You did see Kyle Pitt score a touchdown. >> It's true. >> Wow. >> It's true. First touchdown of the season. Didn't love it for Atlanta because I did sort of want a little bit more to go towards our guy Drake London.

1:00:06Sometimes I did want a little bit more. >> What do you have? 118 receiver. >> Yeah, but did he get in the end zone? >> No. >> Okay. Well, I wanted him to be the one still. >> Okay. >> Were you down by like 22 and you needed 22? >> I I I needed You need a little bit more

1:00:19than just that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Hard to argue with what Drake London did last night. You needed more there. The biggest problem is that Michael Pennock Jr. might be out next week against the Bears. >> MRI on his rib scheduled for today. >> Tua came in in overtime. Unfortunately, >> threw an interception right off the >> bat to Kyle Hamilton.

1:00:36>> Yeah, it wasn't great. Unfortunately, that is going to potentially impact the way that we feel about these players, but I don't think it's going to impact the way that I'm going to rank either Bejian Robinson or Drake London if Michael Pennix can't go. >> When I say that, I'm still going to be starting. It will impact the way I start

1:00:50I I rank Drake London. It will not impact whether or not I play Drake London. That's a better way to say that. >> That's fair. >> Yeah. Um Bejon this and and the thing about Bejon is that he had 15.8 fantasy points last night, which is a totally passable number. The problem with Bejon now, and this goes to Jabir Gibbs on the

1:01:05other side as well, is that like >> it's no longer measuring whether 15.8 fantasy points is okay or not. It's >> it's not 30. Yes. >> Right. Did the other guy Did the other mutant go for 30 or not? And when one of them goes for 37.7, other one goes for 15.8, you're like, "God damn it, >> I should have taken the other guy."

1:01:23>> Fantasy points. Meanwhile, we're sitting here and we're like, yeah, you know, like Chase Brown could probably get you 12 next week. Maybe Scataboo gets you 10. It's like, oh, um, Bejian only 15.8. M >> it's amazing. So, it's a it's a funny game we play. Bejian will be fine. He looked awesome once again last night. Multiple explosive runs. Just didn't

1:01:40find the end zone. >> Yep. Going to definitely await word on that MRI obviously and see what that means for this Falcons offense. Guys,

MNF preview Bills/Rams

1:01:45let's talk about Monday Night Football. >> Yep. >> Bills and Rams in this one. Couple of lineup blocks and I mean I would think obviously we got Josh Allen lineup block. James Cook lineup block. >> DJ Moore is not 100%. We're still waiting for some official word on that. Obviously, we're at the point now where it's Monday Night Football. You're

1:02:03probably past the I might have someone else to roll if I don't go with DJ Moore. >> Mike Clay suggested a Kobe Parkinson pivot if tight end. >> Yeah. >> Or Keon Coleman if you added him off waivers, but we'll see on DJ Moore. Sounded >> he traveled. That's a good sign. But it sounds like this one's still up in the

1:02:19air. Truly. >> Yep. >> 650 is when you'll find out for certain on DJ Moore. >> And if you are a Keon Coleman manager that was hoping that you could start him and DJ Moore wouldn't go, all you can do is just continue to hope. if if Keon Coleman I'm sorry if DJ Moore is out. Keon Coleman's in. Like he's a top 30

1:02:34wide receiver player. >> Well, you might not have a choice because it's Monday Night Football. But yes, yes, you would feel a lot better about your Keon Coleman shares for the Rams offense. It's as chalk as it can get. You starting Devonte Adams, you're starting uh >> Williams. >> And then who's the other fourth one? >> Matthew Stafford.

1:02:48>> Well, if you have to. Yeah, >> I think Stafford in this matchup. I mean, Drake May was quarterback one against the Bills last week. >> Over under 54 and a half. I mean, we're expecting a lot of points in this one. >> That's fair. I didn't start Matthew Stafford. Maybe I just had better quarterback options. >> You might have. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm

1:03:00saying if if you have Matthew Stafford and you were considering him. Yes. It's it's not because you screwed up the quarterback position. This is a legitimately good week to be starting Matthew Stafford. >> Do you remember who you took in this one field? >> I don't I think I took the the Rams, but I don't >> You took the Rams. I took the Rams. Liz,

1:03:17speaking on behalf of Mike Clay, are you going with the Rams or Bills in this one? >> They are three-point favorites at home. I'm taking the Rams. >> Mike actually picked the Bills. >> Mike did pick the Bills Bills. So, one of us will be right. That's why we call it an upgrade for anything. You need any

1:03:27Monday Night Miracles you guys need tonight? >> Yes, I need two Monday Night Miracles. >> In order to get a dub against Tyler Fulgum, I need both Josh Allen and Puka Nakua combined to score under 38.5 fantasy points. That's why it's called a miracle. >> I'd probably prefer to be Tyler. >> I would too. That's why it's a miracle.

1:03:45>> Yeah, we'll see. We'll see. This Rams defense is legit. >> Under 38 and a half. So, that's what I'm hoping for in this. What are you guys? >> Back toback. Not great. I need uh Kiran to stay under 25.1 to beat our friend Adam Shester in the Worm. Okay. I'd say it's like he's definitely not out of it,

1:03:58but that's a good night. So, it's it's queen flippy >> there. >> Need 21 points out of James Cook. >> Okay. Do >> that's doable. That's doable. >> He's got to give him the ball at the goal line. >> Yes. Not getting received. Just get in the end zone. >> He's touchdown to pen.

Thanks for watching!

1:04:12>> Got to do that. >> It's a good finish for the show, right? >> All right. We're going to wrap it up. Thank you so much for hanging out with us. Have fun watching Monday Night Football. We'll be back tomorrow. Liz and I with Mike Clay. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself. You guys, you deserve it. We'll see you

1:04:24guys tomorrow. >> Fantasy. Fantasy. Focus.
