Welcome to Fantasy Focus!
0:00Fantasy.
0:01>> You're in the 0610
0:04focus.
0:06Fantasy.
0:09Fantasy focus.
0:14>> Welcome in to Fantasy Focus Football
0:16alongside Mike Clay and FieldG. It's
0:18good for both of you guys being ready
0:19and prepared.
0:20>> Yeah.
0:20>> For that intro.
0:21>> Yeah.
0:22>> I was wait I was waiting to see for you
0:23reach down and and your ears. No,
0:25>> I'm good this time.
0:26>> Fantasy focus football.
0:27>> I tried to do a little bit of the voice.
0:29Oh, you did? Yeah. Good. Yeah. Yeah, I
0:30was ready today. I uh, you know, checked
0:32my phone on right before the music
0:34ended. I had my mic ready. I took an
0:36allergy pill before the show today, so
0:38hopefully I could hold up.
0:39>> Is that what the problem was? Was
0:40allergies yesterday?
0:41>> Yeah, I think Yeah, certain times of the
0:42year. Don't you guys get that, too?
0:44Pollen and get a little congestion.
0:45>> It's usually springtime for us New
0:47England.
0:47>> I don't know. I get it. I get it. Hit or
0:49miss. It's
0:50>> I think this is the thing.
0:50>> I know what it is.
0:51>> Clay eye is just susceptible to viruses
0:53is probably what the thing is.
0:55>> It could be. I was trying to weave in a
0:57joke like Mike is allergic to B
0:59Robinson's and after last night we'll
1:02talk about that game and I have to I
1:03would like to formally issue an apology
1:06and preemptively announcing said apology
1:08because it comes once we get into our
1:10Monday Night Football recap.
1:12>> Yeah, very excited about that. We got
1:13Monday Night Football recap. We're going
1:14to dive into the waiver wire here and a
1:16bunch of other fun segments like we
1:17always pay off starts of the week and
1:18whatnot. But with that, let's get in. By
1:21the way, just do you want to talk about
1:23the news of Joe Mixon getting signed by
1:24the CF? You mention it. Here's what I
1:26would say.
1:26>> You think it matters and we mentioned
1:27it.
1:28>> No, here's where I think it matters.
1:30>> It's not that I think Joe Mixon has
1:32standalone value. It's that I felt like
1:34there was a chance, I don't know about a
1:36strong chance, but a chance that Zack
Seahawks sign Joe Mixon
1:38Charbanet could return
1:39>> and take hold of this backfield enough
1:41that he might matter in 10 team leagues.
1:43If there's a world in which you have
1:44Zack Charbanet and Emanuel Wilson and
1:47George Helani probably playing on
1:49passing down backs
1:51>> and Joe Mixon because they didn't bring
1:52him to the Joe Mixon's not going to go
1:54to Seattle's practice squad to sit there
1:56for the year and just
1:58>> you know play scout team, right? He went
1:59somewhere with the idea that he could
2:01probably play soon and Jadarian Price is
2:04not a season ending injury. You have
2:07you're going to have at least four backs
2:09that matter on the active roster in
2:11given weeks. It may be that last
2:13yesterday was further confirmation that
2:16by far the most likely outcome for the
2:18Seattle backfield is it's a stayaway
2:20like enjoy the Emanuel Wilson ride that
2:23you had this past week and probably
2:24we'll have again this week because Zack
2:26Sharet is not going to play because
2:28sooner rather than later it's just going
2:29to be too many cooks in the kitchen.
2:31Yeah, we'll talk more about this
2:32backfield I think here in waiverss. But
2:34uh I think at some point this year
2:37assuming their top guys get back to
2:39health it'll settle into two guys. I
2:41don't know if it's going to be Charbanet
2:43and Price or Charbanet and Mixon because
2:45look, maybe Mixon just gets cut loose.
2:47You know, he didn't play last year.
2:48Yeah, it's possible it doesn't work out.
2:49We see that all the time. So, situation
2:51to monitor, but this is definitely a
2:52weekby- week proposition.
2:54>> By the way, a state of how banged up
2:55they are. They also are signing Robert
2:57Henry Jr. from the Commander Practice
2:59Club, which I'm like, hey, you know,
3:01he's he's a talented runner at UTSA. Had
3:03some things in his background. Uh but he
3:07uh it like they have to keep him on the
3:08roster for for 3 weeks because of
3:11eligibility rules in the NFL. So
3:13>> for the next 3 weeks they're carrying
3:15him. They're carrying
3:17>> Emanuel Wilson and George Hani. Like
3:19maybe that's a sign that Zack Charbanet
3:21who's not going to play this week might
3:22still be like two or three weeks away.
3:24So very cloudy backfield in Seattle will
3:27address Emanuel Wilson's value in
3:29waivers. Hey, is there a cloudy
3:30backfield in Atlanta with the way that
3:32these two were used this last night?
3:34Guys, let's talk about the Falcons.
3:36>> Do you want me to do my apology right
3:37now or No.
3:38>> Um, you know what, Field? I do.
3:40>> Okay. All right. So, you guys can flash
3:42the final score graphic cuz it goes hand
3:43in hand.
3:45>> I thought about doing a recap of that
3:47time a couple weeks ago when I went on I
Falcons vs. Saints
3:49wouldn't call it a rant, but I did have
3:51some thoughts on why on earth did the
3:53NFL schedule maker wake up really mad
3:56one morning and deliver us not one, not
3:58two, but three straight prime time games
4:01with the Atlanta Falcons. Thursday Night
4:03Football last week, correct? Monday
4:05Night Football this week and Sunday
4:06Night Football against the Ravens this
4:08upcoming week. By the way, I'm thinking
4:09to myself, really, the Falcons,
4:12>> I owe them apology uh to the entire
4:14Falcons organization, to the city of
4:16Atlanta, to Bejon Robinson specifically.
4:19My god, you guys aren't just a team that
4:22I enjoy watching. Like, you're one of
4:24the most enjoyable teams to watch in the
4:26NFL right now because you have an
4:27identity. That running game is
4:28absolutely off the charts. So, I
4:31apologize to Atlanta and to the Falcons
4:33for doubting your squad. I can't wait to
4:35watch them now on Sunday night against
4:37the Ravens. And that mostly means the
4:39running game because Bejian Robinson is
4:42preposterous. The 59 yard run at the
4:44beginning of the game last night.
4:46>> Is there there's no way that Bejian
4:49Robinson
4:50>> is that fast when he's also not
4:53efforting at all?
4:54>> No, he didn't look like he was trying.
4:55>> It looked like he was jogging and then
4:57next thing you know, he's 10 yards
4:58further down the field from any other
5:00player. How was this possible?
5:01>> Yes. It looked like when Mike is playing
5:03football with his daughters in the
5:04backyard and he's just so much faster
5:05than
5:06>> I'm not even that much faster. Yeah. No,
5:08no. They get me They get me on a
5:10shoestring tackle. I can't get away
5:11anymore.
5:12>> He's amazing. Uh he had only one catch
5:14last night for two yards and he still
5:15went for 27.7. We were having this
5:18conversation briefly before the show
5:20relitigating that number one overall
5:22pick. It doesn't really matter, right?
5:24We kept saying him and him and Shamir
5:26Gibbs is it don't don't waste your
5:28energy on that decision. waste your
5:29energy on your second, third, fourth,
5:32>> fifth, etc. picks. And Jir has outscored
5:35him in three or four games and he is the
5:37number one scoring player in fantasy.
5:39Excuse me. Second highest scoring player
5:40in fantasy. Number one is Jackson Smith
5:42and Jigba.
5:43>> But it's not like Bejon has been
5:45anything other than brilliant. What a
5:47joy it is to watch Bejon.
5:48>> Yeah, he has been fantastic. Exactly
5:50what you said. Nothing more to add
5:51there. Although guys, he didn't even
5:53lead his team in touchdowns. He didn't
5:54even He didn't even lead his team in
5:56rushing touchdowns. He wasn't even the
5:58highest scoring Robinson.
5:59>> No, better be Robinson's on. Yeah, the
6:02people who accidentally drafted Brian
6:04Robinson did okay last year.
6:05>> I told you so.
6:06>> Did all right. I mean, you you weren't
6:07starting it, but maybe in baseball or
6:09something, but yeah, 14 carries, 62
6:10yards, and three touchdowns for Brian
6:13Robinson. Um, that one stung as some you
6:15and I were going headtohead with a Drake
6:18London. And you we were what you were up
6:20three going into the night. You ended up
6:22beating me. Um, but the Falcons scored
6:2445 points and Drake London did not find
6:27the end zone. So, I ended up coming up a
6:29little bit bit uh short in this one.
6:31But, uh, yeah, what is it now? Five,
6:33six, seven, eight rushing, two passing
6:35touchdowns for Atlanta since Michael
6:37Penn has come back.
6:38>> Amazing. So, here's what I would say
6:39about the Falcons. Like, bean's amazing.
6:40Brian Robinson incredibly valuable
6:42insurance back obviously because he is a
6:44good player. Uh, Drake London five for
6:4694. This reminds me of what I said about
6:48JSN yesterday where I was like, man, it
6:51tells you how good JSN is that he goes
6:53for five for 76 and you're like, damn
6:55it. Uh, Drake London's awesome. Five for
6:5794 is a good number for him. It just
7:00felt a little bit disappointing after
7:02the 194 yards he had last week. But for
7:05the Falcons, it is
7:07>> Bejon and Drake London. That's it
7:08because another quiet night there for
7:10Kyle Pitts. To the point that Micah
7:12Parsons is tweeting free Kyle Pitts last
7:15night.
7:15>> Three targets. Yeah, he wasn't even
7:16playing early on in this game.
7:18>> They brought it up. It sounded like
7:19maybe decision.
7:20>> Yeah, I don't know what's going on. It's
7:22it's wild. He seems like you you're
7:24watching him on, you know, there's been
7:25a like a lot of commentary on Marvin
7:27Harrison Jr. and there's just not much
7:29energy there. Like I actually do see
7:30that from Kyle Pittz. He's like hyping
7:32up his teammates with scoring and like
7:33he's involved, but like I I I don't know
7:35what's going on uh behind the scenes. By
7:37the way, more one more note on Brian
7:39Robinson. You mentioned it's Bejon, it's
7:41London. Brian Robinson not a guy you're
7:44running to the waiver wise yet. He
7:45still, to your point, does not have
7:46standalone value. You know, he had a
7:47three touchdown game. That's not going
7:48to be sustainable moving forward. Or
7:51maybe I'm just trying to convince myself
7:52of that because you know what I did
7:53yesterday in one of my leagues? You
7:55dropped him. I dropped him for Kyrie
7:57Hill.
8:00>> No. My god.
8:02>> Uh but no, I'm I'm okay with it. I'm
8:03okay with it cuz look, I'm not I You're
8:05You don't want to be spending on Brian
8:07Robinson. Next week he's going to you
8:08know, he'll have seven carries for 25
8:10yards.
8:10>> Correct. Yeah. He's going to
8:11>> So, I can't wait for us to get a YouTube
8:13question that says, "Would you guys drop
8:14Brian Robinson this week for Tyreek
8:16Hill?"
8:16>> It's very He's very Jordan Masony is
8:18what I would only rostered in 27% of
8:21leagues, but like you said, obviously a
8:23very valuable insurance back if this is
8:24the way they're going to utilize their
8:25running backs in this one. How about the
8:26other side?
8:27>> Let's talk about this game because there
8:29are actually like a few more things to
8:30take away till Travis Han returns. Feel
8:33sure feels like it's going to be the
8:34Alvin Chimera shoot. Not that he was
8:36amazing last night as a runner, but uh
8:38he did have 23 rushing yards and a pair
8:40of rushing touchdowns. More importantly,
8:42for our purposes, seven targets last
8:44night for tons of volume for Tyler
8:46Shock. But with the way they play
8:47defense,
8:48>> I feel like that's going to be a fairly
8:50regular occurrence. Maybe not this week
8:51because they play the Vikings, but
8:53generally the Saints defense is going to
8:55keep them in a lot of shootouts. So,
8:57Chimera, the clear guy that is going to
8:59be the lead back in this back field
9:01because I got to tell you guys, I don't
9:04we don't understand the utilization for
9:06this Saints backfield. We haven't so far
9:08this season.
9:09>> Why is Kendrick Miller really playing
9:10for them even? I don't know. Hasn't been
9:12going well. Six carries, nine yards, 10
9:14yards, and three targets. I mean, it
9:16just has not been very good. But also,
9:18like
9:19>> at Chimera's age, you can't run him into
9:20the ground. I mean, he's going to be
9:21limited. He actually left his game
9:23toward the end. Like I
9:25>> I don't know if he's going to see what
9:26>> did he leave the game again?
9:27>> He missed a he missed a little time
9:28during the game. I don't I don't know
9:30where he came back. Yeah.
9:31>> Yeah. I I don't I'm sure he'll be fine
9:33going forward, but the point is like at
9:34his age, he's not going to be a 20 touch
9:36guy. So
9:36>> there's room for someone else and it's
9:38probably going to be Kendra Miller for
9:39the time being. He was terribly far
9:41behind him.
9:42>> Williams. Yeah.
9:43>> The truth is what it should be is when
9:45he's healthy, it should be the Travis
9:46Aan show.
9:47>> Of course,
9:47>> like it should be shouldn't have wavered
9:50on that from the jump. I don't know why
9:51they did. Uh, but it's the Chimera show.
9:53And then for the pass catchers like
9:55Chris Olive, what the guy's awesome
9:58>> like he just whatever every week is
9:59going to be wide receiver six and you're
10:01not going to blink. Do we think Devon
10:02Vele has enough value to be a flex
10:04weekly or is it like it was a lot of
10:07late production and garbage time last
10:09night? What do you guys think?
10:10>> To your point though, they're going to
10:11keep throwing the ball and it's going to
10:12go to three guys and he's one of them.
10:14So until Jordan Tyson's back, yeah, I
10:15think he's in the flex.
10:16>> I think now that we have bye-weeks
10:17coming up, you're going to start having
10:18a smaller player pool. So I would be
10:20with Mike on that. My question is in all
10:22four games so far. Tyson, by the way,
10:24did you guys see the update yesterday?
10:26>> I did. I was just going to bring that
10:27up.
10:27>> Fire away.
10:28>> Jordan Tyson, when we get uh it's going
10:30to be a little bit longer than we had
10:31initially planned or we had talked about
10:33at the start of this season. So,
10:35>> yeah, it's still weeks away.
10:36>> Yep. So, we're in a spot where if you
10:39were wondering, hey, should I maybe try
10:40to sell high on Devon Valet before
10:43Jordan Tyson comes back? We have weeks
10:45until we get to that point. I think you
10:46just keep riding it as a potential flex
10:48option for your squad.
10:49>> And that that was the thought. Remember
10:50when the Tyson news came out, the
10:52thought was, at least this is what I put
10:54on social and Saints fans didn't like
10:55it, but I believe it's a week eight buy
10:56for them.
10:57>> Yeah.
10:57>> So, week nine was probably the most
10:59logical target for them, which would put
11:01him right on track based on the latest
11:03report. By the way, we're going to get
11:04into this hopefully at some point this
11:05week, but
11:06>> the new look strength of schedule charts
11:08come out this week. I'm pumped to drop
11:10these. They're going to be really cool.
11:11>> That's awesome.
11:12>> Um, but so far, Saints,
11:14>> just a little preview here, fifth
11:15easiest for quarterbacks and receivers
11:17so far. 26th going forward for both
11:19spots. So should tighten up a little bit
11:21on them, which is something interesting
11:23to keep in mind. That could move Vallay
11:24down a little bit. Uh they lay down a
11:26little bit uh moving forward. But again,
11:28we'll get into that as the week goes.
11:29>> What a quagmire of a team they are. I
11:31did pick the Falcons last night. You
11:33guys may recall that. No big deal. Uh
11:35but this Saints team came in with big
11:37expectations and Tyler Shucks got a lot
11:39of numbers through four games, but it
11:41felt like again it feels a little bit
11:42like circumstantial stat production.
11:44They just kick themselves in the shin
11:46for the first half of these games, find
11:49themselves down big, and next thing you
11:50know, it's like, okay, Tyler Shuck's got
11:54286 passing yards, and it looks good
11:55when you go to the ESPN.com stats page,
11:58and you're like, wow, he's second in the
11:59NFL in passing yards through basically a
12:01quarter of the season. But don't feel
12:03like that offense is playing to
12:05expectation through the first four
12:06games. Um, who you guys taking to win
12:08the NFC South based off what we've seen
12:10through four?
12:11>> Oh man. Panthers Falcons both two and
12:14two. Saints one and three. Bucks 0 and4.
12:17I wanted it to be the Bucks, but
12:19>> I'm wring the Bucks off.
12:20>> Okay.
12:20>> I I guess the Panthers, right? No. I
12:23mean,
12:24>> Panthers Falcon. No, no, wait. Yeah. Oh,
12:26man. If If Penn keeps playing like this,
12:28it's going to be the Fal. You know
12:29what's wild is they spent two first
12:31round picks on edge rushers last year
12:33and neither of them are a part of this
12:34team right now and they're still holding
12:36down the fort defensively,
12:37>> doing a great job.
12:38>> The offense has maybe Penn has just made
12:39the leap. There's a lot to like here.
12:41Yeah. You know what? It probably lean
12:42Falcons at this point.
12:43>> One last question before we move on from
12:45this one. Do you think that Mike gets
12:47more excitement out of buying Christmas
12:48presents for his children or coming up
12:50with the strength of schedule full
12:51screens that we're going to see later on
12:53this week?
12:53>> Well, which one you want to answer that
12:56honestly?
12:56>> Yeah, I will.
12:58>> Uh the Christmas present thing, it's
13:00fun, but also it's it's stressful.
13:03I mean, there's a lot of planning that
13:04goes expensive. So,
13:07>> uh yeah, I don't know. Yeah, tough call.
13:09I'm still on this though. Yeah, Panther
13:12just like a machine.
13:13>> Can you give us one little preview of
13:14like one player you think benefits the
13:16most based off schedule? Okay.
13:18>> I'm not ready yet.
13:19>> Okay. I literally just put all this
13:21together this morning, so we'll save it.
13:23>> All right.
13:24>> I'm not ready yet.
13:24>> Not Tyler Shuck, apparently.
13:26>> All right, guys. We're going to dive
13:27into starts of the week next. You know,
13:29we got a little bit of uh information
13:31though about a start of the week
13:32punishment we have from last week. I'd
13:34like for you guys to watch this.
13:35>> We're out of time.
Starts of the Week Recap
13:39Oh, this is you.
13:43>> 22 hours earlier.
13:46All right, guys. Well, thanks to the
13:49corporate overlords, we are no longer
13:50allowed to do the beer mile, which was
13:52going to be a lot of fun for some
13:54people. It wouldn't have been fun for
13:55me. I would have done it, but it
13:56wouldn't have been a ton of fun. Uh, but
13:57they said no. They put the kibash on it
13:59and said, "You are not allowed to do
14:01that anymore." And so, I have to spin
14:03the wheel and do something else. Luckily
14:04for me, I get to stay late for work and
14:06do this while Field and Mike have
14:07already gone home, so that's great for
14:08them. Uh, we're going to head into the
14:10studio right now, though. Oh, you got to
14:11push the button in order to make it
14:12work. Did you know that when the hair
14:13grows back on your leg, it also kind of
14:16hurts then, too? So, it's like a double
14:18punishment. I didn't know that. That's
14:20fun to find out.
14:21>> So, anyways, here we go. Another wheel
14:23spin.
14:26>> All right, guys.
14:27>> Okay.
14:29Smelling salt.
14:33Guys, I care about what I put into my
14:36body. Can't you tell?
14:39>> Oh, this is going to be terrible.
14:47>> I have smelling salts right here in
14:50front of us and I'm going to go through
14:52and u because Mike is going to someone
14:55else is going to have a spin the wheel.
14:56Either Mike or Field is going to have a
14:57thing. Well, you just I'm going to go
14:59through and
15:00>> can we ask a couple questions before we
15:01do
15:02>> all of the lineups? Yeah. Can I ask you
15:03a question? Have you ever done smelling
15:04salt as a football player? Okay. Do you
15:05have any tips you want to give me?
15:07>> Well, so we used to I used to do when I
15:08was working for the Patriots. I'm not
15:09going to lie to you guys like
15:11>> you dropped that.
15:12>> No big deal.
15:13>> Name dropper.
15:14>> No, no, no. But seriously, like when
15:15you're like an 18-year-old like hanging,
15:17you know, like you're around the players
15:18like and these guys are doing smelling
15:19salts like you think you're cool. You're
15:20like, I got this. And it's it's strips,
15:22right? You guys see Aaron Rogers still
15:24does them like right before the game.
15:25You see them all the time. They're
15:26little like they they're little
15:27cylinders, right? They look like really
15:29long skinny pillows. You crack them, hit
15:31the ammonia. It's it's it's ammonia
15:33that's inside of there. And it's it just
15:34it wakes you up real fast and it gets
15:37you focused. It gets you wired. It lasts
15:39like 30 seconds. But for those 30
15:40seconds, it's kind of cool.
15:41>> You're in it.
15:42>> Um Yeah. So, do you have strips or do
15:44you have What do you have?
15:45>> I think it's not strips. This is just
15:47like salt inside of here. And so, I'm
15:49going to open this up.
15:50>> Have a comparable effect.
15:51>> Yeah.
15:52>> It's not fun, but it's it's kind of
15:54>> Well, I don't think that was the point.
15:55I don't think it fun. Was the point of
15:57>> what is the point if it's only 30
15:59seconds?
16:00>> I mean, it's just like to get your brain
16:01focused and like then you let the
16:03adrenaline of the game kind of get it or
16:05also like there. Listen, you're getting
16:07smacked around. Like sometimes it just
16:09wakes you up, right?
16:10>> Okay. Okay. All right. That's fair. All
16:11right, guys. Well, I'm going to read
16:13starts of the week and tell you how
16:14everyone did. I'm going to do a hit of
16:16smelling salts before I read every
16:18single lineup. So, we're going to start
16:19with whose lineup first?
16:21>> I believe yours, Daniel.
16:22>> We're gonna start with mine. All right.
16:24my line up first.
16:28>> Whoa.
16:30>> Oh, that is all you had to do.
16:31>> Gross.
16:32>> Oh, I'm getting a little whiff of it
16:33over here, too.
16:33>> All right, I'll put the lid back on. My
16:35starts of the week. I'm not going to lie
16:36to you.
16:37>> Quarterback, you are a sicko. Tyler
16:38Shuck, 15.9 fantasy points. I got bailed
16:41out by a touchdown late in that game.
16:42>> This might be the best starts of the
16:44week lineup all year.
16:44>> Jeremiah Love, 6.5. Teroa McMillan,
16:4845.2.
16:49>> That's half of your points.
16:50>> And 22.4 Four points from Sam Laaporta
16:53on the other side of that game. Total of
16:5590.4 fantasy points. That was a good
16:57one.
16:57>> Well done.
16:58>> That was a good one.
16:58>> Well done.
16:59>> All right. Punished while showing that
17:02lineup. That seems fair.
17:03>> It's tough, right?
17:05>> Oh, that one was worse. That one was
17:07worse. I did more cuz like the first
17:10time I took it a little easy. That
17:11really field starts of the week.
17:14>> This one was trending in the right way,
17:15too.
17:15>> Marcus Mariota was like uh not great
17:18unfortunately. Got banged up and left
17:19the game early. 5.34 Aaron Jones 16.8
17:23Chris Olive 19.6 another nice outing and
17:26George KD rumbling bumbling and
17:28stumbling his way to the end zone 17
17:30fantasy points 58.74 for the entire
17:33week. Way to go field with that one.
17:35>> Don't do it again.
17:36>> The Marcus Mario I feel like that Marcus
17:37Mariota one I was worried when that
17:39happens. I'm like
17:40>> oh you're lost already before it even
17:42begun because those are like three other
17:44guys at 16 plus is not bad.
17:46>> Is that safe to keep doing that?
17:47>> I don't know. I'm trying to see if it
17:48says
17:48>> I think you're good on two if
17:50>> don't do uh brief inhalation. Do not
17:53exceed 10 times in 24 hours. So, we're
17:55good, guys. We're all right.
17:57>> You have uh seven more to go.
17:58>> All right. Best one. It really smells
18:00like cat urine. Like super unbelievable.
18:02>> Oh, and you have cats.
18:03>> U so bad.
18:09>> People do this for fun on a football
18:11field.
18:12>> Okay, so counter point. How wired do you
18:15feel right now? I'm like I'm going to be
18:16good to go for the show, but my gosh.
18:18All right, here's Mike's lineup. Bryce
18:20Young 21.46. That was good. Then Bucky
18:23Irving 6.1. Nope. Then Josh DS 4.6.
18:27Nope. Then Darren Waller. I uh
18:29definitely talked Mike into that trick.
18:32>> 6.6 fantasy points. 38.76.
18:35I think Tedro McMillan outscored your
18:37entire team. Didn't you do that to me
18:38once earlier this year, Mike?
18:40>> I wasn't paying attention.
18:41>> Okay, gotcha. I have some excuse though
18:44that I could fire up.
18:45>> Yes, I'm sure that you do.
18:47>> Uh I think the what what we talked about
18:49with that lineup is I went very matchup
18:51heavy and and I knew on paper I remember
18:54talking about this last week. Didn't
18:55look like the best squad, but I was
18:56thinking matchups all about the
18:57matchups. It did not work out for me
18:59last week.
18:59>> You want to hit?
19:00>> Do you want?
19:01>> No way.
19:04>> I don't think it's just
19:06>> I don't think it's kicking anymore.
19:07>> I know. I'm good.
19:08>> I don't think it's strong enough
19:09anymore.
19:09>> You don't think it's strong enough
19:10anymore?
19:10>> It needs like a refurbishing of them. Uh
19:12oh.
19:12>> Yeah, you lost me a cat iron.
19:14>> You want to try? I think he's saying
19:15it's not really that strong. Do you want
19:17to try it?
19:17>> Nope. I'm It's not my punishment. What
19:19are you trying to do? You going to share
19:20my punishment with me?
19:21>> Uh, I might have
19:24punishment, then you have to.
19:25>> All right. So, Mike Clay going to spin
19:26the wheel for setting the worst lineup
19:28here in week four.
19:29>> What do you got, buddy?
19:29>> Mike, your punishment is going to be And
19:32for those listening at home,
19:35>> what a That was a REALLY NICELY GENTLE
19:37>> OH MY GOD.
19:40LET'S GO. OH,
19:41>> YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. THAT IS SO
19:43LAME.
19:44>> THE LEG AND DO SMELLING SALTS and you
19:46get safe.
19:46>> What a perfect spin. You know you said I
19:48took a nice safe spin, landed right on
19:50safe. Nailed it.
19:51>> I'm so mad now.
19:53>> Are you kidding me?
19:54>> Do my smelling salts.
19:55>> No, I can't on principle. Now I can't
19:58punish myself.
19:59>> Did you run a projection of like how
20:01much muscle and force you have to put?
20:03>> Oh my gosh, I'm so mad.
20:05>> Yes. Damn it.
20:07>> That's how it's done, folks. Right
20:08there. Okay, that's how it's done. good
20:10process with the lineup and the football
20:12gods.
20:12>> So, how about this? Like,
20:15>> I am so sorry for Daniel. Let's just
20:17recap through four weeks. What's
20:18happened to Daniel in the starts of the
20:19week?
20:20>> First week I lose.
20:21>> Yes.
20:22>> We double We spin once, we get shared
20:25punishment. We spin it again. We get
20:27shared punishment. Then we get neck
20:29tattoos. Yes. Which for you is not
20:31really a punishment, but still you had
20:32to take part, right? Second week you
20:35lose. Third week you lose. Fourth week,
20:37Mike loses and gets no punishment.
20:40>> Yes.
20:40>> Well, you both did smelling salt.
20:42>> Let's have a conversation with the
20:43starts of the week.
20:43>> Seems rigged. Yes, I agree.
20:45>> How has Daniel failed you in the past?
20:47>> What have I done?
20:48>> How has he sinned, father?
20:49>> Well, thank you.
20:50>> In two of those four cases, you set the
20:52worst lineup. So, that's just how it
20:53goes.
20:53>> Oh my gosh. Let's talk about some long
20:55shots here. I did take a shot here with
20:57a Panthers tight end. Did not work out
20:59in Tommy Treblefield. I think you went
21:01with Elliot Manor in this one.
21:02>> Yep. Didn't work out.
21:03>> Mike Mike did another thing that we've
21:05been doing all year though. You set a
21:06guy that actually played well just in
21:08the end zone.
21:09>> Yeah, we're instead of getting scores,
21:11we're getting like good fantasy plays
21:12somehow.
21:13>> You'll play Khif Raymond saying start
21:15these guys as sleepers in fantasy or
21:17DFS. That's it's like trended toward
21:19that. But
21:20>> but we are burying the lead because
21:21producer Q,
21:23>> he thought about this one long and hard.
21:25PICKED TORY HORTON WHO GOT IN THE END
21:26ZONE, BABY.
21:27>> LET'S GO.
21:28>> I'M NOT GOING TO LIE. SO, like really
21:31well done by Q because I don't I don't
21:34exactly know what the thought process is
21:35for Tory Horton,
21:37>> right? Like Tory Horton wasn't really
21:38playing very much.
21:39>> It feels like every pass goes to JSN.
21:41>> Yep.
21:42>> And I guess the reality is that when
21:44you're drafting or picking players that
21:46are available in over 99.5% of leagues,
21:49there is no process. It's just good
21:51luck. So, nailed it by Q. Hopefully, he
21:53bet the end of time touchdown as well.
21:55Absolutely did.
21:55>> He did. Oh, let's go. Okay.
21:58>> Q was in on it. All right. Love that.
22:00So, that was a lot of fun. All
22:01>> right. Now, wait, does that count? Do we
22:02move it down to two now or is it It does
22:04count.
22:04>> Yeah, that counts.
22:06>> Got to be available in 98 99.75%.
22:10So,.3 or let's call it.3 or under.
22:12>> Just three or under. Yeah, seems I think
22:14so. Yeah, they're rounded on the site a
22:16little bit.
22:16>> Again, just like if you are if you've
22:18been if you've been tailing these picks
22:21>> to hit twice in four weeks is a redon
22:24like you'd be making money if you bet on
22:26all of the picks. Right.
22:27>> Right. So, something to consider.
22:29>> Something to consider. Let's talk about
22:31our knockout league update really quick.
22:33And our buddy, unfortunately, Matt Bowen
22:36did not survive the week. Was knocked
Knockout League Update
22:40out in this one. Joe Burrow did him
22:43pretty good, but uh unfortunately Jamar
22:45Chase got banged up. Garrett Wilson did
22:47not play unfortunately very well.
22:48DeAndre Swift also had a tough one. And
22:50then he had a couple of goose eggs on
22:52the bench.
22:53>> Do you guys know that Matt Bowens, you
22:55guys know this, but America needs to
22:56know this. Matt Bowen's son, Grant, is
22:59like one of the top five high school
23:01recruits for football in the country.
23:02>> Yeah, I think we talked about that a few
23:03weeks ago
23:04>> between him and Marcus Spears. We have
23:06just prodigy children coming from these
23:09families.
23:10>> Well, also like your kids are going to
23:12have like they share DNA with the
23:16greatest athlete.
23:18>> You know what I mean?
23:19>> Yeah, that's a good call. So, I'm hoping
23:20that college is free for my kids because
23:23there's a lot of them. There's a lot
23:25otherwise I might be toast. I'll be
23:27doing this podcast until I'm 90 at this
23:28rate.
23:29>> Let's dive into the priority waiver wire
23:31ads this week. Guys, we're going to
23:33start at the quarterback spot. You may
23:34have heard us have this story before. If
23:37you're playing the Detroit Lions, you
23:38might want to start the quarterback
23:39that's playing against them.
23:40>> Do it. Yes, do it.
23:41>> Kobe Brousette taking on the Detroit
23:42Lions. Available in 90% of leagues.
23:46Bryce Young actually scored the fewest
23:47points a quarterback has scored against
23:49the Lions this last week. He scored
23:50what? 21.7.
23:51>> 21.5.
23:52>> 21.5. So, four quarterbacks so far
23:55>> have been top 10 quarterbacks. You
Week 5 Waiver Wire
23:57should grab Jacobe Brassette, not just
23:59off the waiver wire. You should put him
24:00directly into your starting lineup if
24:01you need somebody.
24:02>> Yeah, no doubt. 18.9 fantasy points per
24:04game last year. He hasn't been quite
24:06there so far this season. 16 and a half.
24:08Then he he's had two duds, six and a
24:10half and 10.4. Also had a 25.6. Um, and
24:13the week he actually got to 25. He
24:15required 52 pass attempts. So, the
24:17production hasn't been quite as good.
24:195.4 yards per pass attempt efficiency
24:21has been down. I think the Lions could
24:23probably fix a lot of that. But, uh, you
24:25know, I look back, I was kind of curious
24:26because Buret's now at about a full
24:28season with Arizona. Um, 16 games now as
24:31their starter since taking over for
24:33Kyler. 31 total touchdowns.
Jacoby Brissett
24:35>> Wow.
24:35>> Yeah. So, he he got the job done for
24:37most of last year. Um, and he does have,
24:40look, he does have two passing
24:40touchdowns exactly in two straight. So,
24:42he's trending the right way. And again,
24:44your Lions most touchdowns allowed with
24:4611 already through four games. So, I'm
24:48with you. Great streamer this week. The
24:50chatter is starting to pick up about
24:52whether the team will eventually turn
24:53the keys over to Carson Beck. Some
24:55saying like, why not do it now? It's
24:57clear the season is going sideways.
24:59Don't think it's going to happen in week
25:01five. And if Carson Beck does start in
25:03week five, even with that good of a
25:05matchup, having never played an NFL
25:07regular season snap before, would not
25:09feel nearly as good about the Cardinals
25:12offense.
25:12>> I agree. I think it's uh weighs down
25:14before they make a quarterback change.
25:16Maybe the trade deadline is where it
25:17becomes interesting if a team needs a
25:18quarterback. But remember, it's not just
25:20about the quarterback. It's also about
25:21the skill guys and they have to get the
25:23ball to Michael Wilson and Trey McBride
25:24and Jeremiah. You know what I mean? So,
25:26uh I think we have a little time on this
25:28one.
25:28>> Just a quick note, does feel like Marvin
25:30Harrison Jr. to the Colts is starting to
25:34like percolate a little bit,
25:36>> which I don't know if that resurrects
25:38his fantasy value, but
25:40>> is that real or is that just
25:42>> I think it's starting to like
25:43>> his dad like that's why people are
25:45bringing it up or it's a real
25:46>> No, I think this is like I think there's
25:47a non-zero chance now. It's where I
25:49think we've we've graduated to.
25:50>> Well, there is plenty of pressure on
25:52that GM. So, Chris Bard. So, first
25:54round. Yeah. All right, let's talk about
25:56the rest of them because I think we
25:57should weave some really important news
25:59in here as well, Dana, but give us your
26:00next priority ad and if there's anything
26:02relevant newswise, we'll talk about
26:03that, too.
26:04>> Yeah, right now. And we kind of talked
26:05about this at the top of the show, but
26:06Emanuel Wilson, if you needed somebody
26:08for this week with the way he played
26:09last week, would be the guy that we are
26:10looking at.
26:11>> And to reiterate, no Zach Charbet this
26:13week.
26:13>> Correct. No Zack Sharpet this week. And
26:14we don't know when he's going to come
26:15back. Still hasn't been designated when
26:17we know he will be part of this offense.
26:19I would still add Zack Sharpet off of
26:21waiverss if I had an open waivers,
26:23excuse me, an open IR spot. If I already
Emanuel Wilson
26:25had someone that I liked in the IR spot,
26:27I wouldn't add him. Um, but I would
26:28definitely look at Emanuel Wilson as the
26:30priority ad. And then we unfortunately
26:31found out
26:33>> for the Philadelphia Eagles, Tank Bsby
26:35also got hurt. So, we're not sure what's
26:36going to go on with Saquon Barkley. We
26:38know Tank Bixby is going to be out for a
26:39couple of weeks.
26:40>> Will Shipley, guys, as someone that
26:42you're looking at? How much faith would
26:43you have if you had to start Will
Tank Bigsby
26:45Shipley? No. Mike shook his head. No.
26:46Okay.
26:47>> Yeah. I mean, there's a ton of volume
26:48available because name the Eagles fourth
26:50running back. Have you accounted for
26:51this? probably going to be Damen Pierce,
26:53I would imagine, but they also have
26:54Carson Steel name from the past.
26:55>> Carson Steel and Jaden Blue. So, they're
26:57the options. Two of those guys will be
26:59up this week, assuming Barkley's week to
27:01week is out. We know Bigs is definitely
27:02out. So, my guess is it'll be Shipley,
27:04but this is a guy that's never had 10
27:06carries in a game before. He's had some
27:08passing game involvement so far this
27:09season. I I suspect he'll be the leader,
27:12but probably maxes out as half at half
27:14the carries
27:15>> and uh a couple of targets as well.
27:18>> Yeah, remember they're playing
27:19Jacksonville. They're allowing 2.8 8
27:21yards per carry so far. Running back one
27:23of the best run defenses in the league.
27:24>> We just want dump offs. Like that's what
27:25Will Shipley does though. Better. He's a
27:27much better pass catching back. I think
27:28>> I think you said it quickly. So just for
27:30those that maybe have missed it, Saquon
27:32Barkley is now week to week with the
27:34hamstring injury, which you know it's
27:36not that's not specific like could he
27:38play this week? I guess it's
27:39theoretically possible.
27:40>> I would say week to week. If someone is
27:42listed week to week, I pulled them out
27:43of the projections. Correct. That week
27:45there's a reason they didn't say dayto
27:46day. Yeah.
27:46>> Yeah. Not this week, but potentially as
27:48soon as next week. It did not look good
27:50for Saquon Barkley when he pulled up and
27:52we've seen hamstering injuries cost
27:54players multiple weeks on plenty of
27:56occasions.
27:57>> Those would be the only two running
27:58backs that we're really looking at so
27:59far this week that are going to get
28:00starting runs and that would be Emanuel
28:02Wilson and Will Shipley. Anyone else
28:03that you guys like?
28:05>> I don't even really like Will Shipley,
28:06but he's just another one to add.
28:07>> I would add this to the Will Shipley
28:09conversation. The volume I think might
28:10be better than what Mike just mentioned,
28:1250% or so of the snaps or total touches.
28:15I would also note though like not all
28:17touches and opportunities are created
28:19equally. They're going up against
28:21Jacksonville which Mike just alluded to
28:22and it is like the third string
28:25offensive line is going to play behind
28:26in a struggling offense as it is. Lane
28:29Johnson will see he missed this past
28:31week's game due to personal issues. Cam
28:33Jurgens, who is a player that they have
28:35been leaning on at center, is now in the
28:38concussion protocol. Landon Dickerson
28:41already placed on injured reserve.
28:42Daniel's taking smelling salts. might
28:44have to be in there.
28:45>> I think I'm addicted now, guys.
28:46>> So, it's a banged up offensive line.
28:48They don't play with the fullback, you
28:49know, and and and so it's not like they
28:51have like different ways to create
28:53>> running lanes there. It's it's uh it's
28:55kind of messy right now, Mike, for your
28:57Philadelphia Eagles. So, Shipley, I do
28:59think needs to be added because running
29:00backs are so paper thin, but his outlook
29:03relative to a guy stepping into a
29:05starting role is not that rosy.
29:06>> Yeah, it's going to be it could be one
29:08week of Shipley and it might not be very
29:10good. You know, you might not get to
29:11double digit fantasy points. So, don't
29:13overspend is what I would say. I'm not
29:15going to go out of my way for Will
29:16Shipley unless I absolutely am desperate
29:18for for an RB2 this week. And you might
29:20be with the injuries and and don't wor
29:22don't forget Ken Walker and Chuba Hubard
29:24are by so you might need them because I
29:27was going to say to you like don't don't
29:28go crazy. It's not a great waiverwire
29:31week this week once again. And Jacobe
29:33Brassette only makes sense if you're
29:35somebody like if you've been starting
29:36the likes of Bon Knicks or um I'm trying
29:40to think like Justin Herbert. Justin
29:41Herbert,
29:42>> one of my lowest ranked quarter
29:44quarterbacks this week.
29:44>> Who does May get this week?
29:46>> Yeah, Raiders. Drake May's
29:48probably still but even like Jared
29:50Goff's a great he's also a great
29:52streamer. You know,
29:53>> I'm just saying like you know playing
29:55over Jaylen Herz play good example too.
29:58Yeah,
29:58>> if you have, but if you've, you know,
30:00like the number of people that have a
30:01quarterback that aren't going to mess
30:02around with Jacobe Buret, if you have
30:04>> Josh Allen, if you have Lamar Lamar's
30:07uncertain
30:08>> Yeah, we're in this conversation.
30:10>> News we should discuss is that Joe B uh
30:12Lamar Jackson sounds unlikely to play
30:14this week.
30:15>> Yeah.
30:15>> So, we'll talk about Snoop Huntley and
30:17what that means for the value of Zay
30:19Flowers, that's kind of the only
30:20impacted player. If there's a silver
30:22lining of sorts of Lamar missing time,
30:24it's that Derrick Henry is still going
30:26to be startable and the Raiders are a
30:28one-man passing attack that is a
30:30guarantee to be in your lineup. Mark
30:32Andrews on the periphery, but Mark
30:35Andrews hasn't exactly been lighting it
30:36up with Lamar. Z Flowers has been.
30:39>> Yeah, he was uh Lamar was one I couldn't
30:41read through the words. It was like
30:42something like it's not a super
30:45long-term injury or I I can't remember
30:47exactly what the quote was off the top
30:48of my head, but I was like, yeah, it's
30:50does that mean
30:50>> there's been subsequent reporting this
30:52morning from Ian Raport, which is let's
30:54see, let me get the exact terminology
30:56from Ian, which is
30:57>> how many quarterbacks then Wallfield
30:59looks this up. Oh, you got it.
31:00>> Lamar Jackson is dealing with a sprained
31:01ankle that gives him only an outside
31:03chance to play Sunday against
31:05>> All right. So, he'll be out of the
31:06projections today. I mean,
31:07>> so Lamar Jackson out of the projections.
31:08>> Well, it's just brand new.
31:09>> Yeah, it's like on the way into the
31:11Bucks. Got it. Got
31:12>> we know we're going to be without Bryce
31:13Young and Patrick Mahomes. There's a
31:15good chance you don't want to start
31:16Jaylen Herz this week. You don't want to
31:18start Justin Herbert. There's a handful
31:19of guys that we would have had inside
31:20the top 10 that like now all of a sudden
31:22Jacobe Brassette at least comes into the
31:23conversation. But I want to talk about
31:25some wide receivers guys.
31:26>> Let's do it. Yeah, these are
31:27interesting.
31:27>> Kemanleman Keon Coleman and Dante Myers
31:30both they had really nice games for
31:32their squads. Do you think that there
31:33was enough here that this is a potential
31:36investment opportunity for something
31:38more in the future?
31:39>> Yeah. Well, I mean, worth noting that
31:41their opportunities. Yeah, exactly.
Keon Coleman
31:43Demar Chase in concussion protocol that
31:45assisted Dante Meyers.
31:47>> DJ Moore dealing with that shoulder
31:49injury that assisted Keon Coleman. So,
31:52>> neither of those guys is a lock to play
31:54in week five, which means that both of
31:56these players, Dante Myers and Keon
31:57Coleman
31:58>> are both at least a betat.
31:59>> Yeah, these are both if then
32:01>> to make. Yes. Yes, that's a good way to
32:02put it. An if then.
32:03>> Stole that from our guy from our guy
32:05Alzidenfeld. Used to use that all the
32:07time for DFS. Yeah, it's certainly an if
32:09then. I mean, if if the other guy's out,
32:11you can consider these guys, but that's
32:12it. I mean, Coleman has one catch for
32:15one yard and one catch for 37 yards in
32:17the two games Moore has played in full
32:18the two. He's been out six for 63 and
32:20six for 116 in a touchdown. So, obvious
32:23if then there, by the way, they're
32:25playing the Rams, too. So, even if Moore
32:26is out,
32:27>> be tough. Coleman is going to have his
32:28hands full here. Uh the Rams are midack
32:31and fantasy points to receivers, but
32:34that's due to six touchdowns. It's a
32:35little inflated. They've allowed the
32:36fewest passing yards this season and the
32:38second lowest EPA against the pass. So,
32:40they've been really tough and he got off
32:41to a slow start. And as for Myers, yeah,
32:43he was terrific last season. Good stat
32:45line, seven for 82, had five targets the
32:47week before. But again, we've talked
32:49about this. The problem with playing
32:51Miami is that you're not throwing the
Dohnte Meyers
32:53ball very much. You don't have to. Uh
32:55Miami's allowed one touchdown and the
32:58third few fewest of his fantasy points
32:59to wide receivers so far. Only Rasheed
33:00Rice has gotten to 11 and a half points
33:02against him. He's the only one. So
33:05that's that's a little bit dangerous,
33:06especially if T. Higgins or Jamar Chase
33:08are able to go in this game. Again, I'm
33:10not going to overspend on Meyers. I'm
33:12more likely to spend up a little on
33:14Coleman just because he might actually
33:17be breaking out. Like at some point he
33:18might emerge as a a guy we feel like is
33:21the flex option even with DJ Moore
33:23because Dalton Concade's going the wrong
33:24direction. Sure.
33:25>> And Khalil Shakir, we know he's not
33:27going to be used near the goal line. So
33:28it's at least possible Keon Coleman's
33:30having a year three breakout. It's just
33:32one a guy that you would keep on your
33:33bench.
33:33>> Adam Sher tweeted yesterday or maybe it
33:35was late Sunday night that DJ Moore's
33:38shoulder injury was a reagravation of
33:40the prior one.
33:41>> It is not considered serious. Sorry, it
33:43is not considered long-term as of right
33:45now. So,
33:46>> okay.
33:47>> Could that be that he is, you know, is
33:49he out this week? I would say not
33:52considered long-term right now means he
33:55could be out this week.
33:56>> I would think so.
33:57>> I agree. It's a It's a tossup. I try to
33:59he's still in the projections as DJ
34:01Moore, but I try to be a little bit
34:03conservative early in the week and then
34:04today we'll learn something.
34:05>> I was saying just to to if you're
34:06considering Keon Coleman on the waiverss
34:08and when Mike is saying spend up on
34:10waiverss, I hope people understand he
34:12means if you have a fab budget. Yes.
34:14Free agent acquisition budget.
34:15>> Yeah. Or use your claim. Yeah. I mean,
34:17I'm just saying I'm more likely to go
34:18after Coleman. And when I say spend up
34:20by, by the way, a couple bucks, you
34:22know, like it's there's a difference
34:24between throwing $1 at a guy to fill out
34:26your bench and maybe going up. You know
34:28what? I'll do $5 this week on Keon
34:30Coleman.
34:30>> I understand. Not I'm not saying 40 or,
34:32you know,
34:33>> not everyone does leagues where you have
34:35FAB, but more often than not, our
34:37leagues will have waiver priority. And I
34:39get to a spot sometimes where when you
34:42have a high waiver priority, it's like,
34:44is this the week that I really want to
34:46use my number one claim on on these guys
34:48or do I want to save it for another week
34:50where there might be a better option?
34:51I'm not sure if I have number one waiver
34:52priority. Anyone's like screaming at me
34:54this week that I have to grab. Well,
34:55also it depends on whether your waiver
34:57priority sets each week, resets or each
34:58correct or not, right? Exactly. Which
35:00many
35:00>> gota know your rules.
35:01>> Um, all right, let's go on one more.
35:03Okay.
35:03>> Wide receiver spot.
35:05>> Is Tyreek Hill worth an ad, a
35:06speculative ad at the very end?
35:08>> Question. Would you drop Brian Robinson
35:09Jr.
Tyreek Hill
35:10>> Tyreek Hill?
35:11>> That's what I need to know.
35:12>> Yes,
35:14>> I will. You know what? As a make good,
35:16if you want Brian Robinson Jr. back,
35:18I'll add him off of waiverss and you can
35:20trade me back.
35:21>> Okay. All right. I mean, one your guy
35:24had more touchdowns than my guy, so that
35:25seems like an easy call. Uh yeah, look,
35:27I think uh Tyreek Hill is worth just add
35:32to your bench. Again, I'm not going to
35:33spend a lot here because we don't even
35:34know if he what he has left, if he's
35:36going to be if he's going to sign with
35:37the team where we want him to go. What
35:38if he doesn't go to the Chiefs or
35:40somewhere else? And what if he's still
35:41what if I I do too. I I think that's the
35:43most likely outcome, but might not even
35:45be startable in fantasy. Yeah,
35:46>> he might be a situational guy. Um I will
35:48say this, the last time we saw him, 7.2
35:51two targets per game, 5.3 catches, 66
35:53yards, 13.4 fantasy points per game.
35:56That was the first four weeks of last
35:57season before uh what was a major injury
35:59obviously. So, um there's still a lot of
36:02to learn here. A lot has to go right for
36:04him to be fantasy relevant, especially
36:06in 10 team leagues. But
36:08>> remember, is it also possibly is 130
36:11yards and two touchdowns in week six,
36:13week 17, and helps you win your league.
36:14Yes. So that's why he's fine as a
36:17speculative end of bench guy much like a
36:19an insurance running back for the time
36:21being.
36:21>> I think that's well said is that like
36:22end of bench and it's know your needs,
36:24know your roster, right? And as you look
36:25at players that are available on the
36:27waiver wire right now, how many of them
36:30have championship equity for your team,
36:32>> right?
36:32>> And the answer is not that many. Tyreek
36:36Hill might not have any either, but if
36:37you had to take a guess of like who's
36:39more likely to help me win a title with
36:41a strong second half push, is it Dante
36:44Meyers or is it Tyreek Hill?
36:46>> Tyreek Hill.
36:46>> Right.
36:46>> So that's kind of how I calculate these
36:48things is like if I'm going to really if
36:50I'm desperate, if I'm one and three or 0
36:51and four and I have to win just to keep
36:53my season afloat, then I can't use my
36:55waiver priority on Tyreek Hill. Do
36:57>> you know why Tyreek Hill is listed as
36:59out? That makes him IR eligible in our
37:01game.
37:01>> Well, he's hurt,
37:02>> but he's a free agent. Like are you
37:04going to be listed as out if you don't
37:06have a team to give you a designation?
37:07>> I guess so. Yeah.
37:08>> Okay.
37:08>> Yeah, I guess so. Um yeah, by the way, I
37:11agree 100%. There's that's the tricky
37:13part of fantasy sometimes. Sometimes you
37:15need to add someone because you need to
37:16fire him up for a week. Like maybe last
37:18week you picked up Bryson Tmaine in a 16
37:21team league because you needed a wide
37:22receiver badly and it was a great
37:24matchup,
37:24>> but you're not just going to leave him
37:26sitting on your bench now. Like you want
37:28to a guy with more upside. I think kind
37:30of funny just I'm gonna give you guys a
37:31random name that kind of fits this bill.
37:33When I'm looking at let's say I throw a
37:35guy on IR Sunday morning, right? He's
37:36ruled out. Yeah.
37:37>> And I'm looking at waiverss trying to
37:39find like a guy that fits that bill. A
37:41guy that could be a league winner. Yep.
37:42>> Seth McGawan,
37:44>> right? Like guys like that are the guys
37:46that you just want to throw on there
37:47because if something happens to Jonathan
37:49Taylor,
37:50>> that's where everyone's going on the
37:51waiverwire next week. He will be the guy
37:54we talk if Taylor was out for the
37:55season, he would be the only guy we'd be
37:57talking about today. Seth McGowan, you
37:58got to get him. They don't really have
37:59anyone else at running back and they
38:00might go acquire someone, but McGawan
38:02the next week might see 18 touches and
38:04they seem to like him a lot. He was a
38:06day three draft pick this year, but they
38:07seem to like him and he's the clear
38:09number two in a good situation there.
Mailbag
38:11So, those are the kind of guys you want
38:13to fill out the end of your bench.
38:15>> It's not quite Alexander Madison behind
38:18Dalvin Cook, but Seth McGawan has a
38:20little bit of the Jonathan Taylor
38:21aesthetic to him that when he's in the
38:23game and gets a carry, I'm like, "There
38:25we go, baby. More yards for JT." And
38:26then it's like, nope, that's Seth
38:28McGawan. My bad. I take it back.
38:30>> Was he 20
38:31>> last night? Wasn't Isn't Brian Robinson
38:3417? And
38:34>> he's 15.
38:35>> Oh, was he 15? Okay. All right, then.
38:37Never mind.
38:37>> I didn't like it. He still has a the
38:39same size body as as Bjan Robinson. I
38:41didn't like seeing that.
38:42>> Guys, let's take a couple of questions
38:43from the the uh YouTube chat if you
38:46don't mind. Follow our buddy Eric Moody.
38:48Eric and Moody everywhere on social
38:50media, hanging out with all the people
38:52here in chat with us. This first one
38:54comes from Peter Vaselik. wants to know
38:57Matthew Golden or RJ Harvey at the
38:59>> Molden. Come on.
39:00>> I think R.J. Harvey like the 10 targets
39:02is probably a mirage.
39:04>> I would agree with that.
39:05>> Yeah, definitely. Do you know Matthew
39:06Golden has like
39:07>> seven more targets than Christian
39:09Watson. I mean his he has consistently
39:11been in the 20 mid 20% target share. I
39:13mean he's he's rolling. I think you can
39:15make a case for Golden over Watson. I'm
39:17I'm giving a slight edge in my rankings
39:18to Watson because he has that upside and
39:20the scoring equity, but it's I think you
39:22can make the case.
39:23>> It's getting close. Uh, do you guys know
39:24many Broncos fans?
39:26>> Do I know many Broncos fans?
39:28>> Like, what do Broncos fans feel about
39:29this offense right now?
39:30>> Yeah. Very,
39:31>> that's a good question.
39:32>> Lot a lot of the teams like that this
39:33year. You're like, how?
39:34>> Yeah.
39:34>> How are they worse?
39:36>> You had Jaylen Wadd, you still have an
39:37elite O line. Bon Knicks is year three.
39:39You still have Sutton. How?
39:41>> Crazy. How is it worse?
39:42>> No idea. No idea.
39:43>> I mean, the the only thing you could
39:44point to is the change really is the
39:45play caller. So, hopefully that'll
39:47improve for them.
39:47>> Yeah.
39:48>> All right. Next question we have from
39:49our chat. Fully baked wants to know,
39:52debating on dropping Jaylen Herz for
39:54Jacobe Brassette. Am I crazy? I also
39:56have Bryce Young on my bench.
39:58>> I think that's a little too quick of a
40:00hook on Jaylen Herz.
40:01>> Would you drop Bryce Young then for
40:03Jacobe Brassette?
40:04>> I'm not even sure I'd do that. I would
40:05pick up like there's is there nobody on
40:08your bench that's
40:08>> Would you roster three quarterbacks in
40:10order to Okay,
40:12>> with one of them on a buy and one of
40:13them in a bad matchup. Absolutely. Okay.
40:14>> Yeah.
40:15>> I don't even know if Jaylen Herz is
40:16going to outscore Bryce Young the rest
40:18of the season.
40:19But again, I said this yesterday. I want
40:21to excuse some of Herz because
40:24>> there's so many injuries. I mean,
40:25they're dealing with more injuries than
40:27they're getting really that's being
40:28discussed. So, it's been rough. I mean,
40:30>> we started at the very beginning of the
40:32year talking about how the Eagles and
40:34I'm excited for the rest of this week.
40:35They had a very easy schedule. Now that
40:37we're a month into the season, I'm
40:39excited to be able to relook at it and
40:40see kind of where that falls for Jaylen
40:42Herz when we dive in later this week.
40:44That's a um I gotta be honest with you.
40:46>> That's a tough one.
40:47>> When you say like d like dropping Jaylen
40:51Herz is one of those things that
40:53>> the ones that you regret the most when
40:55when you plant your flag on something is
40:57when it's you're betting against the
40:59established superstar.
41:00>> Yeah.
41:01>> Even if there are real warning signs.
41:03I've been guilty of this throughout my
41:05career at ESPN, like being a year too
41:07late rather than a year too early to
41:09count out a team that you're like, "No,
41:11no, no." Like just by default, they're
41:14still in the mix, right? I was with um I
41:16feel like when Seattle and now they're
41:19back at the top, but like when they were
41:20still kind of hanging around with
41:22Russell Wilson at the end of his time in
41:24Seattle, I was like, "No, no, no. The
41:25Seahawks will find a way. They'll be
41:26there." Have had plenty of those.
41:28Remember the Patriots that last year,
41:30the top ratings? There plenty of
41:31examples. Um, and like am I fully
41:35confident that Jaylen Herz is a top 10
41:37quarterback rest of the season? No. Am I
41:39sort of confident? Sort of confident.
41:42But that's a far cry from where I had
41:43been with Jaylen every other year. But
41:45this question in some ways feels
41:48outlandish. And it could make you look
41:50ridiculous if you drop Jaylen Herz and
41:53he gets it going so you can have one
41:55bite at the apple against the Lions with
41:57Jacobe Brassette. Think that. But my gut
42:00is telling me there's got to be somebody
42:02else on your roster that's more
42:04droppable than Jaylen Herz.
42:05>> Yeah, I think so. Maybe for now. I think
42:07there's also a real chance that remember
42:09Jaylen Hersz has never put up huge
42:10passing numbers. He's been relying on
42:12that elite rushing. If he doesn't have
42:14that, is he just like a and for from a
42:17fantasy perspective like a Kyler uh
42:20Marota sort of fantasy producer?
42:22>> He might be he might be from a real
42:25perspective. He might be a fringe QB1
42:27going forward in fantasy. Yikes.
42:29>> If he's not putting up those elite
42:30passing numbers, I will say this, they
42:32>> again tipping this a little bit, but the
42:34schedule still looks really good for the
42:36Eagles moving forward. The playoff
42:37schedule is brutal, but
42:39>> over the next few months, it's still
42:41pretty light.
42:41>> All right, I think I agree with Field. I
42:43would try not to drop Jaylen Herz, but I
42:44think we will all have Jacobe Brassette
42:46probably ranked ahead of Jaylen Herz
42:48this week in our week five rankings. All
42:50right, one more question here.
42:52>> Rody wants to know, do we hold on Acha
42:54Ibuka? Are we looking for trades? If
42:56you're trading right now, you're trading
42:57too low, right?
42:58>> Yeah. Exactly right. That's the problem.
43:00>> Bench, not drop.
43:01>> Yeah.
43:01>> Yep.
43:02>> You really just have to hold.
43:03>> Just hold. That's I just look for this
43:05week.
43:06>> Wide receiver 43 y in the in my rankings
43:10for this week. I mean, with Jaylen
43:11Daniels, but when look, when Baker comes
43:13back, maybe they get it rolling and he's
43:14back in the top 20 conversation. But
43:16right now, he should be on benches.
43:17>> I have trade advice that's that's in a
43:19vacuum. It's not specific to this or
43:20just in general because I think we're
43:22starting, you know, now that the season
43:23has a bit of a sample size, you're
43:24starting to see some people want to move
43:26and shake a little bit.
43:27>> Um, the best thing that you can do for
43:30me with trades is be fair from the jump.
43:33>> Yeah, it you're like to get a good
43:35player, you probably have to get up give
43:36up a good player. To get a great player,
43:39you might have to give up two awesome
43:40players or two very good players. But
43:42these chemically imbalanced trades just
43:44come across as disingenuous. And it's
43:46like, do you want to do business or not?
43:48Mhm.
43:48>> It sucks, right? Like it's it sucks when
43:51you have to give away a good player, but
43:52like you're not going to be able to
43:53hoodwink somebody into giving them like,
43:55dude, like I'm telling you, like I I
43:57really do think you should be giving me
43:59Jonathan Taylor.
44:00>> You know what, Elfield, you might be
44:02able to do that, but don't be that
44:04person in the league. That phrase on the
44:06people that don't have as much knowledge
44:07because there's always a handful of
44:08people.
44:08>> I feel you. But let's assume like
44:10leagues where like people are all kind
44:11of like generally invested like the idea
44:13of being like listen
44:15>> Jonathan Taylor for Terry McLaren and DK
44:18Medaf like let's make a deal
44:20>> right like is that really like that's I
44:21mean
44:23that's going to be what gets a Jonathan
44:25Taylor trade done probably not
44:27>> I probably want something more for that
44:28>> yeah of course you want something more
44:29you probably want you know a really good
44:31running back and a wide receiver for
44:33Jonathan
44:33>> Taylor I will say there's nothing worse
44:34than making a trade offer and it's
44:37immediately accepted just like, uhoh,
44:39did I did I was it too much? Did I
44:41overpay? I mean, we we're,
44:43>> you know, we're going to be more
44:44thoughtful with our offers. So, that's
44:46not really something we're going to be
44:47too worried about. If we make an offer,
44:48obviously, we feel like it's fair to us.
44:50But,
44:51>> in general, it's just like, uhoh, maybe
44:52I
44:53>> maybe I gave up a little too much if
44:55they hit the I've been there the on the
44:57other direction where I get an offer and
44:59I'm like, I can't like how do I get in
45:00and accept? We wanted them in a dynasty
45:02league in this offseason where someone
45:04offered us their 2027
45:06>> firstrounder for pick 1.1 this year.
45:09This was before it was it was late last
45:11season. It was during the season
45:13>> like yeah we'll take the guaranteed 1.1
45:15a year earlier and we I couldn't
45:17couldn't get faster.
45:20Right.
45:20>> And we of course took Jeremiah Love.
45:21Yeah. Yep.
45:22>> All right let's do it.
45:23>> We're going to dive into a new segment
45:24here guys. We got a month into the
45:26season. We got a little bit of uh
45:28history now that we can look back on
45:29with these players. little bit of a
45:31sample size. I'm bringing some blind box
45:32scores to the table. I know who these
45:34players are. Mike and Field do not, but
45:37there were some things that I thought
45:38were noticeable when I looked through
Blind Resume
45:40the first month of the season and then
45:42we're just going to discuss what we
45:43think about these players afterwards.
45:44So, I'm going to give you guys player
45:46one from a blind box score. You can see
45:48it on the YouTube feed if you're
45:49watching from home. First player, four
45:52catches for 40 yards, 10 targets in week
45:54one for eight fantasy points.
45:56>> Okay.
45:56>> Four for 27 on nine targets and 6.7 in
45:59week two. three for 31 and a touchdown.
46:01Only five targets though in week three
46:03and then five for 115 on nine targets in
46:07week four for 16.5 fantasy points. One
46:09of the things that stands out to me
46:11there guys and the reason why it was so
46:13big was the number of targets. I mean
46:14nine plus targets in three of four games
46:17here. Do you think you know who this
46:18player is?
46:19>> I do. I'm a sicko. I
46:20>> I don't I my thought was KC Conception
46:23but there's no carries there so it's not
46:24him. Um
46:25>> he's wide receiver 10 in targets,
46:28>> wide receiver four in routes run, and
46:30wide receiver one in snaps played.
46:32>> He's also Do you want me to give him a
46:35guess?
46:35>> Um yeah, you can.
46:37>> He's also wide receiver one in muscle
46:39distribution. It's DK Metaf.
46:40>> Oh,
46:41>> this is in fact DK Metaf.
46:42>> Good call.
46:43>> When you look at this, is there any
46:44reason to be a little bit more
46:45optimistic about DK Metaf's volume with
46:47us not seeing Michael Pitman materialize
46:49the way that Mike and I hoped he would?
46:51At least we talk about volume being
46:53king. This isn't that kind of an offense
46:55where Aaron Rogers necessarily brings
46:57you a ton of excitement with what he
46:59brings to the table. But would you say
47:01no to nine plus targets? Is there
47:02something more here to DK Metaf than
47:04what we're
47:04>> um here's what I would say is that in
47:06back-to-back weeks, Aaron Rogers has had
47:08a yards uh per attempt.
47:11>> Yep.
47:11>> I think even an air yards per attempt
47:13might
47:14>> Oh, guys,
47:15>> over 10 yards. Yeah.
47:17>> Wow.
47:17>> Aaron Rogers is being much more
47:19aggressive on the field right now. That
47:20bodess very well for DK Med. It
47:22>> sure does. for the limitations he may
47:24have is amongst the best deep ball
47:26threats of the last what 25 years in the
47:28league.
47:28>> Yeah,
47:29>> he's an exception. He's a rare deep ball
47:31threat. So
47:31>> yeah, has the Colts this week top 30
47:33play should be in lineups. I would say
47:34>> only wide receiver 32 in fantasy points
47:36but wide receiver 10 in targets. I'm
47:38assuming there are more expected fantasy
47:40points on top there. When you look at
47:42the Steelers wide receiving core though,
47:43honestly DK Mechaf is actually second on
47:46the team behind Roman Wilson.
47:48>> Yeah, who barely played last week by the
47:50way. I believe his target share was 30%.
47:52So Roman Wilson's still very clearly
47:54third or sometimes fourth in line too
47:56because Jeremy Bernard's getting mixed
47:57in. We'll see if that number goes up for
47:59now though. Wilson not startable. Metaf
48:01is and obviously Pitman borderline
48:04rosterable, but I'm going to write about
48:05him for the playbook this week. I'm I'm
48:07optimistic or I'm hopeful they'll get
48:09him going at some point, but so far so
48:10>> I would drop Michael Pitman for Jacobe
48:13Brassette if I also had Jaylen Herz.
48:14>> Yeah, I actually have a league in which
48:16I put that waiver claim in literally
48:18this morning.
48:19>> You did not. No, I promise we have a
48:20very short bench and so the options are
48:22limited. Um, can I ask is the point of
48:24this like once we see the blind box
48:26scores?
48:26>> I just want to talk about it
48:27>> and just like you you think sort of
48:29you're assessing up or down. Yeah. After
48:32the first month of the season,
48:33>> we all agree going in the right
48:34direction
48:34>> and I would have said the opposite. I
48:36would because Mike and I were very into
48:37Michael Pitman. One of the things that
48:39we saw from Aaron Rogers earlier this or
48:41last season was he just wasn't throwing
48:42the ball deep. Now after the first month
48:44with them kind of volume that he's
48:45getting and Aaron Rogers pushing the
48:47ball downfield, I think there's a little
48:48bit more excitement around DK Metaf than
48:50we did than we had to start the season.
48:52>> I'm just hoping with Pitman because
48:53remember five straight years of just
48:55heavy usage and production in
48:57Indianapolis. It doesn't make sense for
48:58them to acquire him, have him play
49:00basically all the snaps and run all the
49:02routes and just not throw him. I'm
49:04hoping there's a little bit of remember
49:05he's out week two like rishy rice to him
49:07where maybe he's just not there yet and
49:10he's not being featured in the game plan
49:12and then that'll change as the season
49:13goes on. If not I don't know what
49:15they're thinking. I don't know why they
49:16acquired him.
49:17>> Next four weeks are Indie Tampa New
49:19Orleans and then a buy. So they've got a
49:21nice little schedule there for DK Metaf
49:23coming up. All right, here's another guy
49:24they want to throw up here. A blind box
49:26score through the first month of the
49:28season. This player
49:29>> Oh, I know this one.
49:30>> Five for 130 and 18 points.
49:32>> Mhm. Seven for 95 and a touchdown. 22
49:34and a half points and then two for 38
49:363.8 and one for seven here in week four.
49:40>> Yeah, I got this one.
49:42>> I'm gonna let you I have to hold on
49:44then.
49:44>> Let let field stew for a second.
49:47>> This player I believe I'm writing. Yeah,
49:49I am.
49:50>> This player leads his position in the
49:53average depth of target.
49:54>> Okay,
49:57>> I keep giving you uh hints. He's still a
50:00lineup block. Writing about him in the
50:02playbook because he's trending the wrong
50:04direction.
50:04>> Is trending the wrong direction.
50:05>> Went into like the sixth round I would
50:07say by the end of draft season.
50:09>> Totally flumx by who this is.
50:10>> He's one of his teammates might be
50:12getting traded soon.
50:13>> 77% of his targets came when he was
50:16lined up at the wide receiver position.
50:18That is one
50:18>> shadowed half the time last week.
50:20>> Daltton Concincaid has been so bad.
50:22>> What? That's Oh my god. I was wrong. I
50:25was think I was so confident that I was
50:28right. Wow. Who you?
50:30>> I thought it WAS PARKER WASHINGTON.
50:31>> NO.
50:32>> OH,
50:32>> WOW.
50:33>> IT WAS LIKE IT'S LIKE THE same thing. Oh
50:35my. I was so confident.
50:37>> Guys, why didn't you stop me from giving
50:38all them terrible hints?
50:40>> I'm I'm letting you do the This is
50:41You're You're the one that wants to talk
50:42about it.
50:42>> You know what? You have the answer.
50:44>> I do have the answer. Dan King. Wow.
50:45>> Trending the wrong direction, guys.
50:47>> I got to look at this now.
50:48>> Are we at a spot where you're looking at
50:50Daltton on that one?
50:52>> Yeah.
50:53>> And you say to yourself, "We thought we
50:55had something."
50:55>> Yeah. And now where it's like shoot
50:57everything that we thought this is just
50:59Dton Concincaid from last year and the
51:00year before and the year before is is is
51:02that where we're at through the first
51:03month of the season?
51:03>> Yeah, unfortunately. Yes. And I was
51:05remember after week two I was like this
51:07could be the breakout point of fantasy
51:09football. Yes. Um and that would not
51:11>> instead it's like been an outbreak of
51:12sadness and disappointment for D.
51:14>> So what do you do here? Because that
51:16that's I think the question that people
51:17that either added Dalton Concincaid or
51:19maybe the very rare people that drafted
51:21Daltton Concincaid is
51:23>> if you added him.
51:26>> Are there options that you would turn to
51:28instead?
51:29>> Like go to Waverwire. No. Right now. No.
51:31>> No. Not if he's the guy you're set on.
51:33But like in the FFC league, which is,
51:34you know, 10 team league, I had Tyler
51:36Warren and then I picked up Dolan
51:37Concaid. So I could just go back to the
51:38well with Tyler Warren, which is what I
51:40did last year.
51:40>> A good example of sticking with Tyler
51:42Warren. I just don't know that given
51:44some of the injuries and just given the
51:46fact that there have been a couple been
51:48a couple players who haven't come close
51:49to realizing sort of the potential we
51:51hope for them coming into this season.
51:53>> I think Doulson can gay just fits into
51:54that big old bucket of
51:56>> yo-yo players usableish tight ends.
52:00>> Yeah, I mean I was obviously terribly
52:02wrong on that, but one thing that's uh
52:04was accurate that I said is that uh I
52:06did write about him for the playbook. So
52:08the one the problem when I was looking
52:09at it was I was like trying to figure
52:10out a rhyme or reason for what has
52:13happened and I don't really have one. I
52:15mean week one the playing time was
52:16there, week two was Detroit. I mean you
52:18can excuse it on that. Like
52:19>> DJ Moore got hurt though and it was
52:21>> and but the last two games I don't know
52:23he's not playing as near as productive.
52:25I don't know.
52:26>> It still feels to me like this offense
52:28is like what we saw from the Packers
52:30last year where it's just like one week
52:31it's going to be Keian Coleman, one week
52:33it's going to be Daltton Kane, one week
52:34it's going to be Dawson Knox one.
52:36>> Yeah. or what we've seen from concade
52:37his whole career so far.
52:38>> It's just like maybe it just on which
52:41week is going to be the week that he
52:42smashes. So, unfortunately, probably not
52:44the guy that you hoped after the first
52:46two weeks,
52:47>> but we'll see whether or not we keep
52:49here as we dive into the
52:50>> I know the last two for sure.
52:51>> All right.
52:52>> Yeah, I know one of them now.
52:53>> Yeah,
52:54>> last two we have. It's a little bit of a
52:56uh backtoback. We're going to see which
52:58wide receiver would you rather have.
52:59These are the season stats. 28 targets,
53:0318 receptions, 225 receiving yards for
53:0640 fantasy points.
53:07>> Okay.
53:07>> On the left side, right side, 26
53:09targets, only two less, 16 receptions,
53:12two less, 228 receiving yards, only
53:14three more, and two touchdowns for 51.1
53:17fantasy points.
53:18>> All right. So, the reason why I know who
53:19both these players are is because you
53:20gave us or at least our rundown has the
53:23game by-game outlook for these two
53:25players.
53:25>> Correct. I think if you were just
53:27reading the information or watching the
53:29information that Daniel gave you a
53:30moment ago, when you've got a guy who
53:32was drafted in the top three rounds
53:34without a touchdown so far this season,
53:36there's sort of like one guy that's not
53:38like the others. And who would that
53:40player be?
53:41>> I'm spacing on it. I don't know.
53:42>> Really?
53:43>> Yeah.
53:44>> Oh, yeah. Of course.
53:45>> Right.
53:46>> Yes.
53:46>> Okay. Yeah.
53:46>> George Pickkins is one of them.
53:48>> And the targets have been there for the
53:49most part. Like not ter down, but not
53:51terrible so far. what you're seeing on
53:53that graphic
53:54>> has six targets, eight targets, 11
53:56targets, and then three targets this
53:57last week. So, not terrible, but has not
53:59found the end zone.
54:00>> Parker Washington, though, is a
54:02different conversation. This is Parker
54:03Washington's last month.
54:05>> And by the way, these are it's pretty
54:06similar to to Concage. It's just not
54:09quite as bad in that third game, but
54:10>> five for 83 and a touchdown on six
54:12targets for 19.3 fantasy points. Huge
54:15week one, seven for 98 on 12 targets in
54:17week two for 16.8 fantasy points. And
54:20then week three, three for 40, a
54:22touchdown, but only five targets, 13
54:24fantasy points. And then week four, one
54:26catch for seven yards on three.
54:27>> Exact same stat line as Don.
54:29>> So he's had six or fewer Parker
54:31Washington, six or fewer targets in
54:33three of his four games. That's not like
54:34the strong end wide receiver too that
54:37we've kind of been billing him as in
54:38this offense.
54:39>> Okay. So I think there are a couple of
54:41ways to qualify this.
54:42>> Yeah. Why why is this happening?
54:44>> Well, so the first two games of the
54:45season for Jacksonville actually were
54:47competitive. Well, the first, you know,
54:48like they had to throw the ball a little
54:50bit, especially in that second game
54:51against Denver.
54:52>> Um, third game against the Patriots,
54:54they whacked the Patriots 35 to6.
54:56>> Yep.
54:57>> He scores a touchdown, but there was
54:59also a sequence where, if my memory has
55:01this playbyplay totally correct, it was
55:04in the like like deep goal line, like
55:07five yard line, target for Parker
55:10Washington, incomplete pass. Target for
55:12Parker Washington, incomplete pass.
55:15Target for Parker Washington, touchdown.
55:17Called back because of penalty. Very
55:20next play, target for car Parker
55:22Washington, touchdown. He scores last
55:25week. Um, so that that like those five
55:27targets in a game in which the Patriots
55:29were getting like there just wasn't that
55:31much volume.
55:32>> Yep. Trevor Lawrence threw 23 passes
55:34last week and Parker Washington, this
55:37wouldn't have totally changed the
55:38narrative, but at the end of the game,
55:40it was a seven-yard catch that he was
55:42like half an inch away from turning into
55:44a 40 yard catch.
55:46>> Um,
55:48some of the first read stuff, if you buy
55:50into first read metrics, is really
55:52strong for Parker Washington.
55:54>> Trevor Lawrence is playing awesome.
55:56Parker Washington is awesome. And I
55:58think Mike, you don't you mentioned this
56:00on Monday. He got DJ Turner at this
56:02point.
56:02>> Yeah, half of his routes were against DJ
56:04Turner. They had Turner shadowing him
56:05and all of his I believe 100% of his
56:07perimeter routes were against Turner.
56:08>> So you I think I feel pretty good about
56:10Parker still.
56:11>> Me too. 13 plus in three games so far.
56:13He is a 26% target share. Offense is
56:16very good to your point. I mean, by the
56:18way, they're playing the Eagles this
56:19week. They've allowed 19 plus fantasy
56:21points to three different receivers in
56:23their last two games. So it's, you know,
56:25people have been product or receivers
56:26have been productive against that
56:28defense recently. So, not really
56:30sweating this one too much.
56:31>> Which one would you rather have rest of
56:32the season, George Pickkins or Parker
56:34Washington?
56:35>> Probably still Pickkins. Ah, man. That's
56:37close. I kind of want to look at the
56:39projections on
56:40>> is so I offer more upside in case of
56:44potential injury to a teammate. Yeah,
56:46right.
56:48>> Parker Washington is just I still think
56:51the clear wide receiver one of his
56:52squad. It's just is there as much upside
56:54to his game as George Pickkins
56:55potentially has.
56:56>> Washington a little bit ahead. 17 and
56:5822.
57:00>> I'm receiver 17.
57:01>> 17th and 22nd in the projections going
57:03forward. Um,
57:04>> yeah. I mean, and by the way, I'm still
57:06optimistic about Pickkins.
57:08>> I still think he'll be startable. I
57:10think they're both f I think they're
57:11both wide receiver twos, but
57:12>> I'm buying on on Washington a little
57:14more.
57:15>> Pickins has started slow. If he had just
57:16found the end zone in one of these
57:17games, I think it would feel different
57:19when you look at this box score, and
57:20that's going to eventually come to
57:21fruition.
57:22>> So, I here's a I think a way of
57:23describing um the difference. Here's an
57:26important dynamic in play here for these
57:28two guys specifically is would you say
57:31you're more frustrated or concerned?
57:33>> Frustrated.
57:34>> Right. And it's because it sounded like
57:36a little bit more of concern on Parker
57:38from you and a little bit more
57:39frustrated.
57:39>> That's a good segment idea.
57:41>> Frustrated or concerned.
57:42>> Do you get what I mean though? Like
57:43>> I I'm not I'm not concerned about
57:45Parker, but I wanted to walk through the
57:47exercise of his six targets, five
57:48targets, three targets, which is what we
57:50did based on how the game script worked
57:51out.
57:51>> Potential sell high.
57:52>> Uh no, I'm Parker Washington.
57:55>> All right. I would not sell high. I
57:56would hold I would hold Parker
57:57Washington. Got it.
57:58>> Yeah. I like that future segment idea
57:59right there. It's like I'm not mad, I'm
58:01disappointed. Yes. Like that.
58:02>> Exactly.
58:03>> You had that conversation with your
58:05parents growing up.
58:06>> I had to tell them a couple times. I was
58:08not mad but disappointed in them. Yeah,
58:09you're right. Field.
58:10>> You made me whack.
58:11>> Sorry, Mama Do.
58:12>> So, it actually did recently grows back.
58:14>> Oh my gosh, guys. I had no idea. It has
58:17to like go through the skin and then
58:18it's like all prickly. I'm like a little
58:20cactus. It's not fun. Well, you could
58:22just keep shaving it.
58:26You want us to wax it again for you?
58:27>> No, Michael.
58:28>> That's that Isn't there some cream
58:29called like nare? It like rubs off hair.
58:32>> It does. I got a feeling that if it just
58:34rubs the hair off, it might not be good
58:36for your body. And I do care about what
58:38I put into my body, guys. So, with that
58:39being said, thank you for hanging out
58:40with us. Uh, shout out to the smelling
Thanks for Watching!
58:43salts.
58:43>> Where'd you get those?
58:44>> I can't I don't know.
58:45>> Locals pharmacy.
58:46>> Yeah. All right.
58:47>> I think it was a farmers market. That's
58:49going to do it for us today, guys. Thank
58:50you for hanging out with us for Mike and
58:52Field. We'll be back tomorrow diving
58:54into the week five ranks. Don't forget
