Obsidian & AI Agents: Reimagining the Second Brain
0:00So, here is the second video in my
0:03second brain series. This is going to go
0:06over how I actually view my second brain
0:10and what happens when I look at all of
0:13those things that correlate together.
0:15How do they exist and how do they
0:17benefit me? This we're going to talk
0:20about how my agents use my second brain
0:23now and we're going to talk about
0:24Obsidian. All right, let's jump right
0:26in. This is why I matters.
0:37Welcome back. Okay.
0:38Um
0:39hit like and subscribe and stuff like
0:41that. All right, so what we're doing
0:43this and by the way y'all this is mostly
Join the StoryHacker AI Community
0:45because I had all of these wonderful
0:47people over at the school that I am
0:51involved in called story hacker. If you
0:54would like to be involved in story
0:55hacker, there is a link in the
0:56description below and you can sign on up
1:00and go ahead on and enjoy this new age
1:03of artificial intelligence and
1:04creativity. on. Check the link below.
1:07What I'm going to do is we're going to
Exploring Obsidian: Organizing My Business Vault & Taxes
1:10open Obsidian. We have I have Obsidian
1:12already open right over What I'm going
1:15to do is basically kind of go through
1:18what it is I love about Obsidian and how
1:22it works. This is Obsidian. It's pretty
1:25straightforward. It's a program that is
1:28easy to look at your markdown files
1:31with. This is my business infrastructure
1:34that I've been working on. Taxes filed,
1:36all kinds of stuff. Nothing particularly
1:38sensitive. I just have been working on a
1:41lot of things. I have a lot of agents
1:43working on stuff. And as you can see
1:45over here, I have stuff like pet health
Inside My Sunday Morning Reconciliation Reports with Butch
1:48and my reconciliations.
1:51Ah, my reconciliation. So, here's a
1:53weekly reconciliation which is scanned
1:55by looks like uh, it's was scanned by
1:58Butch, who is my main agent who oversees
2:02pretty much everything. He goes in and
2:04he looks at all of the automations that
2:06I've set up that make reports, and he
2:09goes in and looks at every single one of
2:10those reports, and decides whether or
2:13not things are either good or bad, and
2:16he makes me a new report at the end of
2:19every week, at the beginning of every
2:20week, which is a Sunday morning at, uh,
2:23like, 5:00 in the morning, which is the
2:25beginning of the new week. That gets
2:27deposited in my second brain. In that
Tracking Weekly Wins (Vercel Deploys, Repos, and AI Cron Jobs)
2:30report, with that report, you have all
2:32of this information. Like, what got done
2:35that week, what things, like, so so
2:37these are the things that I actually
2:39did. I made a video on
2:43on Codex Super App packaged, and it's
2:45already and done. Media branding
2:47finalized. Comic Book Portal, uh,
2:50studio. It's a comic book cosplay
2:52photography site that I built that I
2:55deployed on Vercel. YAI I have finished
2:58so many things last week. YAI Matters
3:01private repo created. I made a, uh, YAI
3:05Matters, uh, repo for my actual YAI
3:09Matters site, which is up right now. If
3:11you want to, go over to yaimatters.com.
3:14Check it out. It's still got some rough
3:16edges, but I am really excited about it.
3:19My Cinematic Site Builder skill was
3:21published. This was a free skill that I
3:24published to GitHub. So, if you wanted
3:26to, you can go to GitHub, look up Fufik
3:29Fact, you can download the Cinematic
3:31Site Builder yourself, and build
3:33yourself weird, crazy sites like you saw
3:36mine. So, that's why, yeah, I love
3:39GitHub, cuz I get to give this stuff
3:40away for free. Alice's reconciliation
3:44cron was fixed, but it wasn't. There's
3:47some problems with that. I've got all
3:49kinds of things. Janice backup report
3:51was produced, storyboard pro
3:54architecture critique done.
3:57I've I did so many things. I did so many
4:00things. How do I get all of this stuff
4:03done? Because it's all organized in my
4:07second brain. I have
Structuring Top-Level Vaults, Agent Foldes, and Hermes Wrappers
4:09my top level files in my second brain
4:12and to build their websites and stuff
4:14like that. Then I've got apps. What is
4:16this apps? Oh, it's some kind of app. In
4:18my builder folder, it's things that I've
4:19been building. Butch's
4:22mission control, claw skills, all kinds
4:25of stuff. Hank Junior, I've got Hank
4:27Junior is a wrapper for Hermes agent, so
4:31you can graphically look at Hermes and
4:33it can do things for you. You can look
4:34at nice markdown and stuff like that.
4:36And then Butch, it tells you about each
4:38and every
4:39one. Oh, that's interesting. Why does
4:42Butch have his own folder out here in
4:45the main top level? But when you look
4:48under agents, oh, because if you look
4:51under agents right here, it'll tell you
4:55it'll give you a these are all of my
4:57active agents. I've got Janice, Butch,
5:00Dr. Little, Alice, Fabian, Hank and they
5:04all aren't running all at the same exact
5:06time. But those are kind of the agents I
5:09built over time. It's really easy to see
5:11everything
5:13when you are in here. Let me give you an
5:14example. So, here I am inside
Planning Future YouTube Videos: Brainstorming in the Concept Folder
5:19and we'll go with the YAI matters in
5:22assets right over here. Let me see here.
5:24I have YouTube packaging. Inside YouTube
5:28packaging I have Oh, no, no, no. Where
5:30is it? Concepts. There we go. All right,
5:33so in each one of these I have a concept
5:35folder. Oh, Gracie, are you coming up
5:37here to say hello? Cuz I would not be
5:39mad if that's the case. No, she's not.
5:42She's like, nope. I just climbed up
5:44here. I'm not doing anything. But inside
5:46each one of these concepts, so I have a
5:49ADHD and AI agents. This is probably a
5:53video that I will be making.
5:56AI cinematic web. I made a
5:59I want to make a video about making
6:02cinematic websites.
6:04AI did my taxes. That's a video that I
6:07have not yet made.
6:09I did make AI memory problem. AI writing
6:13voices I haven't made and tropic 45 days
6:16I haven't made. Uh breaking news but as
6:19you can see, I did make the 5.5 and the
6:22mem palace video. I'm still working on
6:24some other mem palace videos. So, I've
6:27got all of this stuff and I don't ever
6:29have to worry about ideas. I come up
6:31with ideas out the wazoo. I have to be
6:34able to find those ideas after I am done
6:38with those ideas. And this is how I do
6:40it. I use Obsidian to view my files
Organizing Assets & Dropbox Sync Workflow
6:46including pictures. I have tons of
6:48pictures and stuff. It actually looks at
6:50video. It you can put anything in there.
6:54I like to use
6:57I like to have my Dropbox on my home
7:01directory just because it just makes
7:03things a little cleaner when things are
7:05being moved around from one place to
7:07another. Don't worry about it. It's just
7:09something that's in my brain that I do.
7:11It's probably some kind of OCD quirk or
7:14something like that. That's what I do.
7:16That's it right there. I use Obsidian
7:20and in using Obsidian it helps me keep
The Obsidian Graph View: Visualizing My Interconnected Brain
7:23everything organized. Did you know you
7:25can literally search all of Obsidian?
7:28Let me show you one other thing really
7:29quick. Inside Obsidian, you can even
7:32look and view your entire universe as a
7:37bunch of graphics. And as I zoom in, you
7:39can start to see things are connecting
7:42with each other, right? So, as I zoom
7:45in, here's why AI matters. It's a big
7:47one and it interconnects with all of
7:49these other things because once it
7:52starts building this wiki, once it
7:54starts building the wiki, it starts
7:56interconnecting so many different
7:58things. Your mind on AI or Design Studio
8:02Hermes, that's a very interesting one. I
8:05love these connections or ooh, G stack
8:09as agent process pattern. Somehow a
8:12bunch of stuff got uh connected to that.
8:15I don't know why. Let's see here. Let's
8:17go
8:18uh G stack as agent and let's go over to
8:22co-work OS. What does it say inside of
Deep Dive: Wiki-Style Interlinked Markdown Files
8:24one of these wiki concept markdown
8:27files. As you can see, it has a lot of
8:30information. It has inner linked things
8:33so you can link to other things and open
8:36up other things as you get deeper and
8:39deeper into my wiki. This is so cool to
8:42me. This is basically my brain as a
8:46Wikipedia, as as Wikipedia. It's amazing
8:50to me that this is that easy to do. I
8:53just dump everything inside of an inbox
8:57and it digests it. Now, as I said in the
Accessing the EJ's Palace Wiki & Inspiration Sources
9:00last video, I have links to my wiki,
9:06which is called EJ's Palace Wiki, which
9:08is a combination of the Mem Palace and
9:11Andrew Karpathy's Wiki. That's in a link
9:14in the description. I also have
9:16Karpathy's Wiki LLM and Milla Jovovich's
9:21Mem Palace. So, if you are interested in
9:23any of these things, there are links
9:25down there. And do me a favor, y'all. I
9:29basically designed my own website, all
9:34of my branding, all of it all at once
9:37and is the video right here that pretty
9:39much shows you that I can do anything.
9:44Talk to you soon.
