1:11Y'all, we still have over 400 people

1:14from what I saw on the Zoom. I'm not

1:17sure how many people are on YouTube. My

1:20page is minimized. The the window is

1:22minimized so I can be able to see

1:24everything. But I just want y'all to

1:25know how big that is. Okay, this is not

1:28for me. This is not for me. I just want

1:30y'all to know how big that is. There are

1:32so many people who are hungry for the

1:34word of God. There are so many people

1:36who are just now learning what it means

1:37to be in the presence of God. There are

1:39so many people who are being restored to

1:41the faith. And I am happy to see that

1:43because I have seen a lot of people hurt

1:45by the church. I have seen a lot of

1:47people who were never raised in church.

1:49Never knew who God was. never knew who

1:51don't know who God is, but they're

1:53trying to understand who he is and

1:54they're trying to form and establish a

1:57bond with God. So, this is absolutely

1:59amazing to see. Oh, well, glory, Sophie.

2:02And I know a lot of y'all have been with

2:04me since day one. Y'all have been in

2:06these studies. That's good. I'm

2:07grateful. Now, I know a lot of y'all

2:09were not on Saturday studies. So, let me

2:11go ahead and address this. Now, Bev will

2:13no longer be in the Bible studies. Okay?

2:16Like I said last Saturday, I want you

2:17all to continue to support Beverly, but

2:20Beverly has her own journey right now

2:22and she's on her own walk with God right

5:04study, there's one major important rule

5:08that not the night. It wasn't this past

5:10Saturday. It was the Saturday before

5:11that. There's one major rule that I

5:13have.

5:15Come on. Y'all already know what I'm

5:16going to say. Physical Bibles. WHAT ARE

5:18WE DOING? DO WE HAVE OUR PHYSICAL

5:21BIBLES? Do we have our physical Bibles?

5:25Have that. Have that. I'm going to be in

5:28King James version. I'm going to be in

5:29the Tanakh. I'm also going to be in my

5:32new King James version as well, but

5:34primarily King James version, but I am

5:36going to be reading from the Tanakh

5:37because I feel like that will help us

5:41that's beautiful. And then the New King

5:44James Version because that's a real good

5:45simple breakdown. Y'all know I love New

5:47King James Version. And y'all know, of

5:48course, my handydandy NLT is always by

8:01studying this a great deal in my Tanakh.

8:11dictionaries. As y'all see, that's a

8:12prophets dictionary right there. I have

8:14a lot of things. So, it's a lot of

8:16things that I read, a lot of

8:17translations that I read. I'm a true

8:19student, so I study a lot. Okay, so

8:22everyone has their physical Bibles.

8:24We're going to get ready to go in in

8:25prayer. If you were in Bible study last

8:28week, you kind of know exactly the way

8:29that we're going. If you were not in

8:35I named it Enrusted. I'm going to give

11:04the opportunity for us to come together

11:06in fellowship, Father God. That we may

11:09be able to commune, Father God, and that

11:11we may be able to share our love for

11:13Christ, God, knowing that Christ is the

11:15reason why we have been restored to you,

11:17Father God. I want to take time to come

11:20to you with the heart of gratitude,

11:21Father God. The humble heart, Father

11:23God, in your presence at your feet right

11:25now, Father God, to thank you for all of

11:27the things that you have done, Father

11:29God. I thank you for your unmmerited

11:31favor, Father God, that has covered us

11:33through all of our walks. Father God, I

11:35thank you for the time that you spend

11:37with us, Father God. I thank you for the

11:39sacrifice that you have made, Father

11:41God. I thank you for the love that you

11:43have poured into us, Father God. I thank

11:45you for taking the breath of life and

11:47breathing it in into us, Father God. I

11:53you have given us, Father God. the peace

11:55that you give us to lessen the stress of

11:57the trials that we go through. Father

11:58God, I thank you for the opportunity for

12:00us to be able to rest in your presence.

12:03Father God, I want to take the time

12:04right now to thank you, Father God, for

12:06exposing the things in the satanic

12:08fortresses that you have exposed in this

12:10time, Father God, and allowing us to use

12:13our gifts that you have stored in us for

12:15your glory, Father God. I thank you for

12:17showing us our destiny and our purpose,

12:19Father God, helping us understand that

12:22we are kingdom agents and we are kingdom

12:24workers, Father God. I thank you for

12:26taking the time, Father God, to look

12:28into each one of our lives, Father God,

12:30and restore us, Father God. It has been

12:32a trying time in many of our lives right

12:34now, Father God. It's been a trying time

12:36in the past couple of years, in the past

12:38couple of months, in the past couple of

12:39weeks. And many of us have been weary in

12:42the spirit. Many of us have felt so low

12:44and we have felt moments of despair.

12:46Father God, but we have been able to

12:48find you, Father God. And so I thank

12:50you. I thank you for the Godhead, Father

12:52God. I thank you for being our father

12:54and I thank you for the Son, Father God.

12:56And I thank you for the Holy Spirit. I

12:58thank you for our prince of peace. I

13:00thank you for our mediator. I thank you

13:01for our counselor. I thank you for our

13:03advocate, Father God. I thank you for

13:04our redeemer, Father God. I want to take

13:06the time to bless everyone who is in a

13:08study right now, Father God. and those

13:10who are new and those who are finding a

13:12relationship and those who are seeking

13:14you, Father God, that we as brothers and

13:16sisters of Christ, Father God, that we

13:18would cover one another on this journey,

13:20on this walk, and that we all may be

13:22strengthened in this fellowship, Father

13:23God. And so we thank you for bringing us

13:25all together right now, Father God, that

13:27we may love on one another and that we

13:29may be patient with one another and that

13:31we may continue to teach one another the

13:33very things that you are teaching us. So

13:35God, I want to take the time to express

13:37my love and my gratitude. Father God, I

14:08reading the seventh day. Everybody have

14:11their I really need more light.

14:13Everybody have their Bibles open. I'm

14:16going to start off in King James

14:17version. And what I'm going to do is

14:23let's see. Do I want to do

14:26You know what? What I'm going to do is

14:28I'm going to do King James version and

14:32I'm going to read it in New King James

14:33Version as well. And then I'll go to the

14:36Tanakh just so y'all can see for those

14:38of you who are not used to looking at

14:40different translations. I'll do that cuz

14:42it's not a lot to read. So if y'all are

14:44y'all okay with me doing that? It won't

14:46be long. But are y'all okay with me

14:48doing that? You're good with that? Okay.

14:52All right. Father God, bless the teacher

14:55as I begin to read and open the hearts

14:56of those who are listening or receiving

14:58the word of God. Amen. Thus the heavens

15:00and the earth were finished and all the

15:02host of them. This is King James

15:03version. And on the seventh day, God

15:05ended his work which he had made. And he

15:09rested on the seventh day from all his

15:10work which he had made. And God blessed

15:14the seventh day and sanctified it

15:15because that in it he had rested from

15:18all his work which God created and made.

15:20These are the generations of the heavens

15:22and the earth when they were created in

15:24the day that the Lord God made the earth

15:26and the heavens and every plant of the

15:27field before it was in the earth and

15:29every herb of the field before it grew.

15:31For the Lord God had not caused it to

15:32rain upon the earth, and there was not a

15:34man to till the ground. But there went

15:36up a mist from the earth, and watered

15:38the whole face of the ground. And the

15:40Lord God formed man of the dust of the

15:42ground, and breathed in his nostrils the

15:45breath of life, and man became a living

15:47soul. It's so funny cuz when I was in

15:49church growing up, they would say,

15:50"Breathe it." I don't know if anybody

15:52ever heard their pastor say that.

15:54Breathe.

15:56They would say, "Breathe it." Maybe it

15:57was just my pastor. I don't know. Told

15:59you. We do things different. All right.

16:01Okay. Let me read it in New King James

16:02Version for a minute. Okay. Back up the

16:06beginning of chapter 2 verse one. Thus

16:07the heavens and the earth and all the

16:09host of them were finished. And on the

16:11seventh day God ended his work which he

16:13had done. And he rested on the seventh

16:14day from all his work which he had done.

16:17Then God blessed the seventh day and

16:18sanctified it. Cuz in it he rested from

16:20all his work which God had created and

16:22made. This is the history of the heavens

16:25and the earth when they were created. In

16:27the day that the Lord God made the earth

16:29in the heavens, before any plant of the

16:31field was in the earth, and before any

16:32herb of the field had grown, for the

16:34Lord God had not caused it to rain on

16:36the earth, and there was no man to till

16:38the ground. But a mist went up from the

16:40earth, and watered the whole face of the

16:42ground. And the Lord God had and sorry,

16:44the Lord God formed man of the dust of

16:46the ground, and breathed into his

16:48nostril the breath of life, and man

16:50became a living being. Okay, I'm going

16:53to read the Tanakh.

16:56Okay, I'm going to read that shortly.

16:58Okay, this is the JPS translation. Okay,

17:01I'm g read this one. NLT is very

17:04different. That's what I mean. They're

17:05also different. Country passes, right?

17:07All right. The heaven and the earth were

17:09finished in all their array. On the

17:12seventh day, God finished the work that

17:13he had been doing. And he seized on the

17:15seventh day from all the work that he

17:17had done. And God blessed the seventh

17:19day and declared it holy. Because on it

17:21God seized from all the work of creation

17:23that he had done. Such is the story of

17:26heaven and earth when they were created.

17:28When the Lord God made heaven, I'm

17:30sorry. Sorry. When the Lord God made

17:31earth in heaven, when no shrub of the

17:34field was yet on earth, and no grasses

17:35of the field had yet sprouted, because

17:37the Lord God had not sent rain upon the

17:39earth, and there was no man to till the

17:41soil, but a flow would well up from the

17:43ground and water the whole surface of

17:45the earth. The Lord God formed man from

17:47the dust of the earth. He blew into his

17:50nostrils. He blew into his nostrils the

17:52breath of life, and man became a living

17:54being. Okay, I'm going to give you all

17:56some key terms.

17:59As you see, there was some differences

18:00in word choices in these, but there were

18:03some consistent words as well. Okay, so

18:05I wanted to make sure that I highlighted

18:07that. Okay, I need to pull up that that

18:09laptop a little bit, y'all. So, just

18:11excuse me. Okay, so let's go over the

18:12key terms for a minute. I want y'all to

18:14write these key terms down. We're going

18:15to do some highlighting. We're going to

18:17break some things down. Okay, finished

18:19is one of the key terms.

18:21Finished.

18:23And I know some of y'all like, "Well, I

18:24know that word." Well, we going to go

18:26biblical. Finished is one of the key

18:28terms.

18:30Rest. Rested. Rest. Rested. R E S T E D.

18:36Whichever one you want to put. Rest. R E

18:38S T or R E S T E D. Whichever one you

18:40want to put. Blessed.

18:44Blessed.

18:47blessed or blessed as the old country

18:49pastor say sanctified

18:53that's another one generations because

18:56generations is in the King James King

18:58James version it's in KJV generations

19:02formed is another key term

19:08living soul

19:11is the last key term y'all have those

19:13written out finished,

19:16rested,

19:17blessed,

19:19sanctified,

19:21generations,

19:23formed,

19:24living soul.

19:26Okay,

19:28now let's go do some highlighting and

19:29then [clears throat] we'll come back to

19:30what each one of these mean. Okay, so in

19:34verse one, thus the heavens and the

19:37earth were finished. Highlight finished.

19:41and all the host of them. And on the

19:44seventh day, highlight seventh day,

19:47[laughter]

19:48God ended his work which he had made.

19:51And he rested, highlight rested on the

19:55seventh day from all his work which he

19:57had made. And God blessed highlight

20:01blessed this is verse three. And God

20:04blessed the seventh day and he

20:06sanctified it. highlight sanctified

20:10because that in it he had rested from

20:12all his work which God created and made.

20:15Verse four, these are the generations.

20:18Highlight generations if you have King

20:20James King James version. These are the

20:22generations of the heavens and the earth

20:24when they were created

20:26in the day that the Lord God I want

20:28y'all to highlight Lord God.

20:32Highlight Lord God in the day that the

20:35Lord God made the earth in the heavens

20:38and every plant of the field before it

20:40was in the earth and every herb of the

20:42field before it grew. For the Lord God

20:45howlight Lord God had not caused it to

20:48rain upon the earth and there was not a

20:49man to till the ground. But there went

20:51up a mist from the earth and watered the

20:54whole face of the ground. And the Lord

20:57God formed how light formed

21:00man of the dust of the ground. How light

21:03dust of the ground

21:07and breathe into his nostrils. Howlight

21:09breathe into his nostrils or breathe it

21:12into his nostrils. However you want to

21:13pronounce it the breath of life.

21:16Highlight breath of life.

21:19And man became a living soul. highlight

21:23became a living soul. Okay, everybody

21:30Let's break some things down. Okay,

21:32let's go ahead and start breaking some

21:34things down. Okay, so one thing that we

21:37see first in the text is the word

21:39finished. In this text, it means to

21:42complete, right? Accomplish fully. To

21:45complete to accomplish fully. So what we

21:47tend to see and I've seen this because

21:49Lord knows I don't know how many times I

21:51have seen this scripture over and over

21:53and over in church. I don't know how

21:54many times we've came back to in the

21:56beginning. Don't know how many times but

21:58it's been a lot of times. So what I have

22:00seen in this is a lot of times uh for me

22:03just paying attention to like new

22:04believers and things like that they

22:06believe that God was tired.

22:10They believe that God was tired. Not

22:12necessarily

22:13especially when he was able to rest. is

22:16not because God was tired. It's not

22:18because he was weary. What we see is

22:21that creation and what God intended

22:24creation, the purpose for creation was

22:26complete.

22:27We've seen that as you all have noticed.

22:30I don't know if y'all ever seen or ever

22:31heard anyone say that seven is a number

22:33of completion or fullness, right? So, we

22:36got to see that this is the seventh day.

22:39There is one thing that was different

22:41that I noticed um in the text. If you go

22:45back to let's see D right above that in

22:49verse 31 of chapter 1 at the end it said

22:51in the evening and the morning were the

22:52sixth day

22:54the seventh day doesn't say that right

22:56there not where we just read it

22:59this seventh day is extremely important

23:01okay and I'll get to that in just a

23:03minute so right here but I'mma get to it

23:05and I I see you say the Sabbath and

23:07we're going to talk about that but

23:08because I have so many new believers I

23:10don't want y'all to get too wrapped up

23:12in the Sabbath right Now, and I'm I'm

23:15not saying it to be rude. I just what

23:17I've seen people do is read the Old

23:19Testament and then start going through

23:21like the Levitical priesthood, the laws,

23:24and all of that and the Sabbath and they

23:26become like little modernday Pharisees

23:29until they learn more about Jesus. So, I

23:31don't want that to happen right here.

23:33Okay? So, what it says right here in the

23:36text, finish means to complete. Okay? To

23:38accomplish fully. That's what we see.

23:40All right? So thus the heavens and the

23:43earth were finished. They were complete.

23:45They had came to the fullness and all

23:47the host of them. And on the seventh

23:49day, God ended his work which which he

23:52had made. And he rested.

23:54And he rested.

23:57He took some time. So let's go back to

23:59resting, okay? Cuz I don't want people

24:00to think that God was just knocked

24:02asleep and he just stopped caring for

24:03humanity. That's not what it was. God

24:06didn't It's not because he was tired. He

24:08just took a minute to reflect on his

24:11creation. He took a minute to reflect on

24:13his creation. And what God did was he

24:15enjoyed the fruit of his work. He was

24:17satisfied with what he was seeing. So

24:20rest in this text, what we see this is

24:22an act of authority,

24:24an act of satisfaction. God was

24:27satisfied. Remember he said prior to

24:29that when he looked at his creation, the

24:31last thing he said was it was very good.

24:35He was satisfied. What we see right here

24:37that in the beginning when God says

24:39right here in chapter 2, not all the way

24:41in chapter one, but what we see right

24:43here is God took the time and he rested.

24:46God took the time and he reflected on

24:48the fruit of his work. He admired that

24:51and he reflected on it. That is a gift

24:54that we have.

24:56It's a gift that we have to be able to

24:58work,

25:00to sit back, to enjoy the things that we

25:02have, to look at the things that God has

25:04blessed us with, to take the time to be

25:07replenished and restored, and to be in

25:09God's presence. That is a gift to us,

25:13which a lot of times we don't realize

25:14that is a gift. Okay, let's keep going.

25:18I just want to make sure I get through

25:19the words before anything else. And he

25:21rested on the seventh day from all his

25:24work which he had made. And God blessed

25:27the seventh day. Blessed

25:31to confer or to bestow to grant favor to

25:36bestow or to grant favor in his text.

25:39God bless rest basically. So what we see

25:42right here, he said that on the seventh

25:44day, God blessed the seventh day. This

25:47is a day that we're talking about. He

25:49blessed a time. He blessed a the a day.

25:53And then it goes to say, "And sanctified

25:55it." So, not only did he bless it, but

25:58he set it apart. He made it holy and he

26:01set it apart. Now, before y'all go and

26:04run

26:06to start doing the most when it comes to

26:08the Sabbath, like good. I want you to

26:10glorify the Sabbath, I want you to take

26:12time to worship God on the Sabbath.

26:14Before we get too deep into this, okay,

26:18I want y'all to understand some things

26:19cuz I I've just seen people run with

26:21this. So, he set this day apart as holy.

26:25It was distinct from the rest of the

26:26calendar days. It was sacred and it

26:29belonged to him. When we get to talking

26:32about Jesus Christ, we'll understand

26:34more of the Sabbath. Okay? But this day

26:36belonged to God. This is the first thing

26:39that we see that God sanctified in the

26:41text. He made this time holy. So we got

26:45to see that in the text. Okay. Now that

26:47we here, this is the first thing that

26:49God sanctifies. God finished his word.

26:54He rested. He blessed the seventh day

26:57and he sanctified it. He declared and

26:59made it sacred. Means that he devoted

27:02this day exclusively for a particular

27:05purpose.

27:07This this specific day. So when we get

27:09back in Exodus and things like that and

27:11we continue to read, y'all are going to

27:13understand that this is the reason why

27:15we have to get through Genesis. So what

27:17he's teaching us right here, he's

27:19teaching us a pattern. God is teaching

27:21us for one, he already made our week.

27:25I don't know if y'all uh have ever I

27:26think it was the French Revolution, they

27:28tried to make a 10day calendar week. Has

27:30anyone ever heard that? I think it was

27:32in the French Revolution.

27:34I think it was Has anybody Has anybody

27:36ever read that? that they tried to make

27:38a a 10-day calendar week. God already

27:41made this. He had already created order.

27:44There was going to be a seven-day week,

27:46okay? And one day specifically out of

27:48that week was going to be a day of rest

27:50where we're in the presence of God. We

27:52take the time, the particular purpose is

27:54to be restored and replenished in the

27:56presence of God. That's our day of

27:58worship. Okay?

28:01We were never made to just work

28:03relentlessly and to constantly be on the

28:05gr the grind and to be a a person who's

28:08always laboring. That's not God is

28:10concerned. He shows right now that he's

28:12concerned with how we live already.

28:16Now, a lot of times people think that

28:18holiness is just avoiding sin. That's

28:22not the case. God is is concerned with

28:25how we live.

28:27this. He gives us an example of the

28:30blessing of rest to us. He says, "I want

28:32y'all to take some downtime." This is a

28:33gift from God where we replenish. This

28:35is the reason if y'all ever have been in

28:37the presence of God when you had a

28:38horrible work week or you had a tiresome

28:41work week, you know that your spirit was

28:43replenished

28:45on the seventh day. God said,

28:47"Everything's in place.

28:49The order is established and I'm

28:51satisfied."

28:53What we can reflect on if we make this

28:55practical because y'all know I like to

28:56make things practical. Okay. When we

29:00look at holiness, it is not just about

29:02avoiding sin.

29:04It's also about living in this rhythm

29:06and this pattern that God created.

29:08Living in God's order as well. We are to

29:11rest and be restored to him in his

29:14presence. Are y'all following me? I'mma

29:17keep going, but I want to make sure

29:18y'all are following me before I keep

29:19going. Okay.

29:22Seventh day. We know what the number

29:23seven means. Completion, fullness,

29:25perfection, divine order. Y'all seen

29:28that. Seven feast. Well, if you read the

29:31Bible, you've seen or or heard pastors

29:33seven feast, seven lampstands, seven

29:36seals, seven, you know, the whole

29:38shebang. Seven was a number of

29:39completion. Okay, let's keep going. We

29:42going to keep on going. Verse four,

29:45these are the generations is what it

29:47says in King James version. This is just

29:50talking about origin. I want to make

29:51sure we understand that because King

29:53James version can be tricky. Okay, this

29:56right here is pretty much saying this is

29:57an account. This is a record of origin.

29:59This is a history. And as we see in

30:02every story y'all know in anybody's

30:04story, the origin is important. We need

30:07to know the beginning. Can everyone

30:09agree to that? Whenever y'all are

30:11talking to somebody or becoming friends

30:13or anything like that, y'all want to

30:14know where they from, the beginning of

30:17their story, cuz origin always matters.

30:19The beginning always matters. Each

30:22origin in any story has a purpose. So

30:25this is the record. Okay.

30:28This is the record right here. Now there

30:30is something that I I see that I know a

30:33lot of people miss. Of course, this is

30:36one of the most beautiful things. I love

30:38this. This is where we finally get a

30:40chance to see the compound name for God.

30:43One of the compound names. He has so

30:44many compound names. But as you all

30:46notice, if you go back, just just flip

30:48back in your pages a couple of times and

30:51just scan through chapter one and tell

30:54me if y'all seen Lord God. Just scan

30:57through chapter one and tell me if you

30:58seen Lord God.

31:03You're not going to see Lord God in

31:05chapter one. What we saw was God the

31:08creator, the sovereign God, the God of

31:10author, authority, the powerful God.

31:12That's what we saw. We saw Elohim.

31:16When you look in chapter 2,

31:22when we are referencing humans and we're

31:25now seeing the intimate relationship

31:27with God and his human creation, we get

31:30to see the covenantal relational God.

31:36It says Lord God

31:38in the day that the Lord God made the

31:40earth and the heavens.

31:44It says Lord God. That's the first

31:47compound name that we see for God.

31:50Now you can say Adonai Elohim. You can

31:53say Jehovah Elohim. You can say Yahweh

31:56Elohim. Elohim. I've heard people say

31:59many of things. Lord, what we see right

32:01here is Yahweh,

32:03God Elohim.

32:06So now we see same God is just a fuller

32:09revelation of God's identity. This is

32:12why I absolutely love God. He's so

32:14dimensional

32:15there. And for everything that we need,

32:18for every situation that we have, we

32:20have the Lord of hosts. We have God in

32:23some form. Same God. Same God. I'll talk

32:26about the tri the triune God later and

32:28the Godhead later. So what we see right

32:30here in chapter 2, Genesis is

32:32introducing a fuller revelation of who

32:36God is and his identity. Yahweh Elohim,

32:40Jehovah Elohim, it means the covenant

32:43God

32:44who's also the creator God that we saw.

32:48Notice that before this, like I said,

32:50Genesis mainly uses Elohim, uses God. It

32:53focuses on God as supreme.

32:57It focuses on God as supreme, as

33:00sovereign, as powerful, as orderly. It

33:03focuses on that. And now we take this

33:04shift.

33:06This should make us feel good because

33:08now we see that when God is creating and

33:10establishing and breathing the spirit of

33:13God into humans

33:15that we now have an intimate experience

33:18with God. If you go back in the text,

33:22there is nowhere when he was making

33:24creatures or anything else

33:26that God said, "I'm going to breathe my

33:28life into this creature."

33:31It doesn't say that in the text.

33:34So, with us as human, God gets really

33:36intimate and personal with us. So, we

33:40have a deeper revelation.

33:42Let's keep on going. Let's let's keep

33:44digging a little bit more, okay? cuz I'm

33:46I'm just roll with me here. Okay. Now,

33:48what we see in verse 5, and just flow

33:50with me. I'm going to bring it all

33:51together. What we see in verse 5,

33:55God said in verse 5, "And every plant of

33:58the field before it was in the earth,

33:59and every herb of the field before it

34:00grew, for the Lord God had not caused it

34:03to rain upon the earth, because there

34:06was not a man to till the ground."

34:08Vegetation was there. Harvest season was

34:11not.

34:12It wasn't there yet. The harvest season

34:16wasn't there yet. God created

34:17vegetation. We saw that in chapter 1, I

34:20believe it was verse 11, 12, somewhere

34:22around that time, but the harvest life

34:25hadn't began yet. There was no field

34:27growth. However, there was no field

34:29growth. However, it was there.

34:33It just wasn't grown to what we would

34:34see outside.

34:36God hadn't caused it to rain yet. I

34:38talked to you all when we first entered

34:40Genesis about the hydraological system

34:42and the whole cycle of the waters on the

34:44earth and the rain and the clouds and we

34:46talked about all of that. Right. Right.

34:49We talked about all of that. There is a

34:51a word that it used in here said, "But

34:53there went up a mist from the earth."

34:56There went up, remember we talked about

34:58Exodus and Reodus when I talked about

35:00the hydraological system. It says right

35:02here, "But there went up a mist from the

35:05earth. The water went upward.

35:08It was still there. The water was there,

35:10but it went upward. We hadn't seen the

35:11rainfall yet.

35:14God hadn't caused it to rain. It's the

35:16same thing for us. Let me make it

35:17practical. And I'm not going to make all

35:18of this too practical. All of this is

35:20going to be important as we go through

35:22Genesis. So, I'm not going to have some,

35:24you know, a lot of just like

35:27u astounding stuff to say because this

35:30right here is history and this is a lot

35:31more important than me to just have a

35:33word that feels good for everybody.

35:35Okay. Same thing for us though I can

35:37make this practical. Same thing for us.

35:40Sometime things are not happening in our

35:42life at that time because God hasn't

35:46sent the rain. Maybe y'all can look at

35:47it in that way. Sometime things that we

35:50would hope to grow and manifest and to

35:53be in harvest season hasn't happened yet

35:55because God has not sent the rain. This

35:57is why we love God because God's wisdom

36:00and his timing. that God's timing is

36:02connected to his wisdom. And we don't

36:04always understand God's timing. But what

36:07we can see in Genesis is some of God's

36:10wisdom. We will never fully understand

36:11all of his wisdom. We just can't. He's

36:14eternal. But his wisdom and his timing

36:17is such a unique experience to actually

36:20live in because we realize that when God

36:23does things, remember we talked about

36:24his precision. He's so precise with how

36:26he does things and so strategic. If it's

36:28not time, he's not going to release it.

36:31And God said that all of these things,

36:32all of these blessings that I have on

36:34earth, there's not a man yet here to

36:36till this. [snorts] Remember, God spoke

36:38to the Trinity. He talked to the

36:41Trinity. They had all established the

36:43Godhead had already established and with

36:45the divine counsel already established

36:46that the humans were going to be made in

36:48his likeness, in the image of God. We

36:49were going to be image bearers. We

36:52already established that. But God knew

36:54if I send the rain, then I know what the

36:56rain is going to produce. There's no man

36:59to till the ground. There is no man to

37:02steward what I have here yet.

37:07There's no man to steward what God was

37:09growing.

37:12There's no man to be responsible for the

37:14harvest.

37:15There's no man to cultivate it. But a

37:18mist. When we see mist in the text,

37:22think of a pre-rain irrigation system.

37:25Think of it that way.

37:27The water rolls from the earth.

37:30The Exodus. The water rolls up. Exodus.

37:33E exodus.

37:36E Xi Du S. This is what I talked about

37:38in the first Genesis. You go back and

37:40look at it on YouTube. Okay.

37:43So, the water rose from the earth to

37:45water the ground. We hadn't seen the

37:47full system of rain. We hadn't seen the

37:49full cycle, but we saw the Exodus. E X I

37:52D U S. The earth was releasing water

37:55upward.

37:56Exodus, the water would go up. Read it.

38:00R E D I T U S. What I talked about that

38:02means the water would return. So this is

38:04where the water cycle began. And then it

38:08goes into verse seven. And this is this

38:11is our main verse. Okay, this is our

38:14main verse.

38:15And the Lord God formed man of the dust

38:18of the ground,

38:20and breathed into his nostrils the

38:22breath of life, and man became a living

38:26being. That's the New King James Version

38:28translation.

38:30What we see in Genesis 1, how were

38:33things created? Does anybody remember

38:35how things were created in Genesis 1?

38:37What did God do to create the things in

38:39Genesis 1? Does anybody remember? He

38:42spoke. There we go. Messiah. I love

38:44that. He spoke. He spoke a word, right?

38:48In Genesis 1, God spoke. That's what we

38:52saw. God spoke in Genesis 1. In Genesis

38:552,

38:57we get to meet the potter.

39:00We get to meet the clay master in

39:02Genesis 2. It says, "And the Lord God

39:06formed man."

39:08It didn't say, "And God commanded the

39:11dust to become man. It didn't say that.

39:14It didn't say that God spoke and it was

39:16so. It said that he formed.

39:19He formed man. Let's go up and talk

39:22about what formed mean. That I think

39:23that's that's important for us to talk

39:25about. He formed mean he formed means

39:28that God shaped

39:30and he molded and he fashioned this

39:34dust. This is God the potter. This is

39:36where we meet the potter. Okay? I don't

39:38know if anyone's ever read Isaiah 64:8

39:41where man was crafted by God's hand

39:44where it talks about that. So man was

39:47crafted by God's hand. Now this is

39:49personal.

39:51Okay? And y'all just think about it.

39:53Whenever we create something, we have a

39:55DIY project and we create it by hand. We

39:58cherish it, right? We love it. We take

40:00our time.

40:02We put our heart and soul, our blood,

40:04sweat, and tears into it. And we're

40:07intentional about what we create. So

40:09right here, what we see when it says

40:10that God formed man, this implies that

40:13God was intentional in forming us. This

40:16was an act of intimacy.

40:19We see the relational God in action,

40:22which is why Lord God was presented

40:24here. Cuz now we get to see the

40:26relational God in action.

40:28God designed us for a Godgiven

40:32purpose just as he wanted us designed.

40:37What we did not see, God said the Lord

40:39God formed man out of the dust. It

40:42didn't say that he formed 29 of the same

40:47person. It didn't say that he formed man

40:51man from the dust. Not 29 of the same

40:54person. None of that. So each one of us

40:57was formed specifically. He designed us

41:00all for a purpose. And he's intimate

41:02with each and every one of us.

41:05So specific with how we are created.

41:07This is why I say we're so valuable

41:09because God took his time and he molded

41:12and fashioned us into what he destined

41:15us to be.

41:17Remember we talked in one of the

41:19previous Bible studies and I said that

41:20God fills whatever he forms. We saw that

41:23with the waters. We started with the

41:24earth that whatever it is that he forms,

41:26he feels. It's the same thing for us.

41:29[snorts]

41:30God formed us and he placed within us

41:33our destiny. There's a purpose placed in

41:35each one of us. That's why I always say

41:36we're destiny keepers and carriers.

41:40God formed us. Okay, we're going to talk

41:43about him breathing the breath of life

41:45into us. But formation is the proof of

41:48destiny in each one of us because God

41:50took his time and fashioned us for a

41:53purpose, for a divine purpose and the

41:56plan that he has for us. Let's keep

41:59reading into that. Let's keep going into

42:00that one. But y'all follow me, right?

42:02Y'all still with me, right? Okay. This

42:04is where we meet the potter. Like I

42:06said, love God. Okay. He didn't create a

42:09mass production of of humans. He created

42:12one.

42:14And the trinity agreed to make the first

42:17human.

42:19God created a representative right here.

42:21We talked about that before. He created

42:23a representative to rule on the earth.

42:25Once again, we carry out

42:27responsibilities when it comes to the

42:29kingdom. Each one of us has a

42:31responsibility. We represent God in

42:34everything that we do. Remember, we're

42:35made in the likeness and the image of

42:37God. So, we're all representatives when

42:39it comes to God. We are representatives

42:41who rule on earth. not to rule on other

42:43people, but to rule over the things that

42:44God said we'll rule over. Now, God

42:48breathed into man life. This shows how

42:53personal God is with us. God imparted

42:57spirit life into us and made us living

43:00beings.

43:02We wouldn't be here without the breath

43:04of life.

43:06He didn't command things to be so just

43:09by speaking it. He had molded us and

43:11then took us when he created us and

43:13said, "Let me breathe spirit life into

43:17my creation, into this creation,

43:22spirit life.

43:24God breathe into us the breath of life,

43:29which now we see that we're not just

43:31physical beings made from dust. We're

43:33also spiritual beings as well." I don't

43:36care what no one said. Each one of us

43:38have some type of spiritual gift. We

43:40have a spiritual destiny. We have a

43:42purpose. We carry something of the

43:45spirit. Each one of us do. We contain

43:49divine impartation of gifts.

43:54We we carry gifts, prophetic gifts,

43:58wisdom, anointing, authority as we know

44:03it. All of us contain divine impartation

44:07in some capacity. The breath of life

44:10from God is in us.

44:15We are a vessel and what is in us is

44:18life from God. We were created by God in

44:22the image of God for the purpose of God.

44:26I want to make sure that all of us

44:28understand that we were created by God

44:30in the image and the likeness of God for

44:33the purpose of God. When man became a

44:37living being that means man became

44:40conscious

44:41animated and his identity and personhood

44:44began.

44:46So it may say that yes we were formed

44:49from one of the most basic elements of

44:52the world. We were formed from dust.

44:55It may say that but we have the breath

44:57of life from God in us as well. So we

45:00may be grounded from the earth but we

45:02have to remember that we are carrying

45:04something from heaven and that is

45:07something that is so important for us to

45:10remember. We have to remember that that

45:13God infused us with his spirit.

45:17It's so important to remember that in

45:19your walk on this earth as you as you

45:21are stewarding the possessions and the

45:23gifts that God has given you, the

45:26assignments that he has given you

45:27because you have to remember that you

45:29are carrying something from heaven and

45:31God infused his spirit.

45:35He didn't infuse his spirit in the cows

45:37and the reptiles and the insects and the

45:40geckos and the birds and he didn't do

45:42that. He infused his spirit in man.

45:45We have great value.

45:49And our soul only thrives with God.

45:53You can have all the things in the

45:55world. You can have money, success, you

45:58can fulfill your dreams. You can have

46:00marriage. You can have followers. You

46:01can have all of those things and still

46:04feel empty. If it is not for the breath

46:06of life, we are simply just an empty

46:08vessel.

46:11The way God designed us humans,

46:15the way he designed us requires divine

46:18breath or the spirit of God.

46:22It requires that we are alive because of

46:25God.

46:28Man is a living being in the image of

46:31God. When we talk about man being a

46:33living being, a living soul, that mean

46:36that man came alive when God breathed

46:39into him the breath of life. I don't

46:41know if y'all understand how powerful

46:43the breath of life is. We're talking

46:44about God here.

46:47The spirit of life entered a body that

46:50God formed, that God formed, that he

46:53molded,

46:55that he created.

46:57proof we're physical and spiritual

46:59because we were formed from a created

47:02ingredient, dust.

47:05And God's divine breath was breathed

47:08into our nostrils, into our lung, which

47:11is where we have life. So although we

47:14were born of the earth, our life is

47:17still dependent on God. So when we get

47:19to talking about the river of life and

47:21the blood and we get to talk about the

47:23breath of life and things like that, as

47:25we go deeper into our study and we learn

47:28more about the triune God, the

47:30trinitarian study and things like that,

47:32you'll understand that without God's

47:34breath, we're simply just a vessel.

47:37That's it. So I want y'all to understand

47:39this. When we go and we look and we

47:43realize that God is the creator, but

47:44he's the giver and the sustainer of

47:47life. It takes God to keep us alive. I

47:50don't care what no one says.

47:53It takes God to keep us alive. It takes

47:56him. So, as we go further into our

47:59study, and I'm saying this because so

48:02many people, I say this all the time,

48:04try to make God out to be a monster, but

48:07we have to remember how much God loved

48:10us. So much so that he said, "I'm going

48:13to take my hands,

48:15the dust that is on the ground, and I'm

48:17going to mold my children into what I

48:21have designed them and destined them to

48:23be.

48:32I Okay, so I want to say this for a

48:34minute because this can be confusing

48:36right here. Uh, I'mma go back to where

48:39you were talking about. Let me see.

48:42Hold on.

48:49Well, I want I think I'll bring it up in

48:50the next one.

48:52Yeah, I'm going to I'mma talk about that

48:54in a minute because the way that two and

48:56one go, it can be very confusing and I

48:59don't want to confuse you all. So, I

49:01think what I'm going to do as I since

49:03we're going into Adam and Eve and Eden

49:04and stuff and all that, I'm going to

49:06break that down deeper there

49:09cuz then we'll talk about Adam and I

49:10don't want to confuse it. As you'll see

49:12sometime in the text, the timelines do

49:14look tricky. Don't get confused by it.

49:16I'll explain it and break that down the

49:18best way that I can, okay? But don't get

49:20confused by I only want to talk right

49:22now about why God created humans. And

49:25then when we go into the next text,

49:26we'll be into the Garden of Eden. We'll

49:28start talking about Adam and stuff like

49:29that. I'm going to break all of that

49:31down. Okay? I'mma break all of it down.

49:34I promise y'all. Okay? But I I want to

49:36make sure that that we understand this.

49:38So, we were created out of the most

49:41basic element, dust. It wasn't something

49:44major and spectacular. It wasn't nothing

49:46like that. It it wasn't. It's dust.

49:50In Genesis 18:27, [clears throat]

49:54Abraham answered and said, "Indeed now,

49:58I who am but dust and ashes have taken

50:00it upon myself to speak to the Lord."

50:02This is humble. This is a position of

50:04humility. Remember, it wasn't God didn't

50:06say he created us out of diamonds and

50:08stuff like that. He created us out of

50:10dust. And we have to remember that

50:12position.

50:14We have to remember that position. We're

50:16valuable because we have the breath of

50:18life in us. But don't forget

50:22because we can't take a arrogant

50:24position when we're standing in the

50:25presence of God. We can never take the

50:27arrogant position. So it's almost like

50:29God keeps us in a humble position.

50:32Remember what you are made of, but also

50:35remember that you have the breath of

50:36life in you. So although you were made

50:38from the most basic created ingredient

50:40that I have of dust, it is my breath of

50:43life that is in you. Meaning that you're

50:46still dependent on me. And we find our

50:48value in God.

50:50Y'all understand that we find our value

50:53in God.

50:55Not in what we're created from, not in

50:57what we have, not in what we wear, but

51:00in God. Y'all got that right.

51:06Right. Y'all got that? Okay. I promise

51:08y'all it wouldn't be long.

51:12[clears throat]

51:15Yes. We find our value. So, it's not

51:17going to be long because we're about to

51:18go into the Garden of Eden and we're

51:21really about to start talking about Adam

51:22and Eve and all of that. But I do want

51:26to highlight that

51:29when we're talking about the Godhead,

51:30the Father, the Son, and the Holy

51:32Spirit, and when we're talking about the

51:34divine council,

51:37they talked about the fact that we're

51:40going to have a kingdom on earth.

51:43And so each one of these humans has a

51:46destiny.

51:48We're going to fashion the humans in the

51:50likeness of us. They have our nature and

51:52capacities.

51:54Not mean that we're equal

51:58in a trinitarian fashion. Not meaning

52:00that we're equal to God, Jesus, the Holy

52:02Spirit, but we have a capacity and a

52:05nature in the likeness of them. So we

52:08have more reasoning. As we said earlier,

52:10we know all of these things. We have

52:11those things that are already stored in

52:13us.

52:15And that's another thing that shows you

52:17just how much God loves us and how

52:20important we are to the kingdom of God.

52:23That they said the human beings that we

52:25place and we establish on earth are all

52:27going to they're going to be not just

52:29physical beings, but they're going to be

52:30spiritual beings as well. And there's a

52:33there's a divine impartation in each one

52:35of them. We have gifts. If you're

52:38anointed, you have a gift.

52:42If you have wisdom, you have a gift.

52:45Even the authority, we have these gifts

52:47that are in us. And we're we have

52:50kingdom assignments in each one of us.

52:54And so here we are. The divine counsel

52:57says, "Yes, we have a kingdom on earth

53:01and we have kingdom agents and we have

53:03representatives of us. So everything

53:05that they do should be in the likeness

53:08of us." Godhead. Think of the triune

53:11God. Everything they do should be in the

53:13likeness of us. Which is why God holds

53:15us so accountable. So when people, like

53:17I said before, come up and say God

53:19[snorts] is a hateful God. God took his

53:22time with us. He didn't command

53:25something to be so. He took his time and

53:28said that I am going to create and I'm

53:31going to fashion and mold each human

53:34into what I have designed them to be. So

53:37when you beat yourself up and say God

53:39made a mistake with you, no he did not.

53:42He never made a mistake. Whenever you

53:44beat yourself up and believe that you

53:46are not valuable to whoever you want to

53:48be valuable to, to the people around

53:50you, to the people on earth, that is not

53:53true. YOU PEOPLE MAY NOT FIND VALUE in

53:55you, but God finds value in you because

53:57he breathed his breath of life into your

54:00nostrils, into your lungs, and you

54:02became so. and he stored a gift into

54:06you. So although the rain has not come

54:09yet, there is a gift inside of you. You

54:13are on a kingdom assignment. Whether you

54:15believe it or not, we have stored up

54:18gifts inside of us. And when it is time,

54:21they will manifest.

54:23We are not a mistake. Don't beat

54:26yourself up. That's what the enemy wants

54:28is for you to beat yourself up and feel

54:30like you have no value. You are valuable

54:32to God. You are a vessel. You carry life

54:36in you that comes from God. And where

54:39there is life, y'all know what I'm about

54:41to say. If you carry life in you and you

54:44carry a gift, remember the blessings

54:47that we have in us, the gifts that are

54:48stored inside of us, we are used to

54:51bless other people with as well. So you

54:53are, if you are anointed, your anointing

54:56can bless somebody else. If you have a

54:58gift of wisdom, hello. Your gift of

55:00wisdom can help teach somebody else. can

55:03help guide somebody else. Remember that

55:05something inside of you, the devil may

55:08pervert it because the devil perverted a

55:10gift that God gave me. The devil may

55:12pervert it, but don't lose sight of who

55:14God is.

55:16Don't forget the author and the creator.

55:19Never forget that. I know all of us have

55:22some type of trauma that we endured.

55:24People have hurt us and it has made us

55:26feel less valuable. That's what the

55:28enemy wants is for us to feel less

55:30valuable because he wants us to take

55:32ourselves out because if we take

55:33ourselves out, we're not carrying the

55:35assignment of the kingdom.

55:37Remember your position in the kingdom.

55:40We are created in the likeness of God.

55:42This is the reason why Jesus Christ had

55:44to come and redeem us to be restored to

55:46God in the likeness of God. Remember how

55:49amazing you are. God loved you enough to

55:52take the time to breathe his life into

55:55you.

55:59I can tell you, I can speak for myself.

56:00The devil perverted my gift. One of my

56:02gifts that I have is teaching.

56:05You know what I ended up doing? Because

56:07I have sexual trauma from my past. I

56:09have major sexual trauma. And I can get

56:11into that. A lot of y'all who know me,

56:12y'all know that story. I have sexual

56:14trauma and then I also have an absent

56:17father as well who chose other people

56:19over me. So, I have abandonment issues,

56:21rejection issues, and sexual trauma. And

56:23all of that trauma put together made it

56:25really good for me to teach about sex

56:27and to talk about sex and to talk about

56:29all those things. I wanted to be a sex

56:31therapist for the longest. I wanted to

56:32be a sex therapist. That was not my

56:34calling.

56:36But I was so good at speaking of it

56:38because I experienced it and I was

56:40perverted by it.

56:42And you know what I did? I took it upon

56:44myself to say, "Hey, I can teach people

56:46in marriages and relationships how to

56:48have amazing sex." I'm just being honest

56:50with y'all. My gift was perverted.

56:54So when I surrendered my life to God

56:57and I was created new, the gift that God

57:00had placed in me of wisdom and teaching

57:03and all of that stuff, now you see it

57:05the way that God intended it to be used.

57:08But the devil wanted me to keep on

57:10helping bring people to sin, bringing

57:12people into fornicating. That's what the

57:14enemy wanted me to do because he knew if

57:16I got out there and did my kingdom

57:17assignment, it was going to be bad. hell

57:19was going to be shaky. That's why I went

57:22through so much hell. That's the reason

57:23why I'm not mad about the hell that I

57:25went through. I am not upset about the

57:28people scandalizing my name and all that

57:29because I knew the moment that I said

57:31yes, all hell was going to break loose.

57:34And it did. And I'm on kingdom

57:36assignment.

57:38I come in. God told me to do Bible

57:40studies. Okay. God told me in the past

57:42couple of weeks, I need you to study

57:44this. I need you to learn this. I need

57:47you to be to be fluent in this. And you

57:50know why? Because I seen opportunities

57:52and I seen doors and environments that

57:54God is now placing me in. And he said,

57:57"You going to be teaching here. You

57:58going to be in this environment." I

58:00would have never thought that Kitty Rose

58:02will be in some of the environments I'm

58:04about to step into this year. Never

58:05would have thought it.

58:08But you know why? Because I'm on Kingdom

58:09Assignment.

58:11And I take it serious

58:14because now I realize that the gifts

58:16that God has put in me, the anointing, I

58:19have to steward this well. The people

58:20that God has called me to, I have to

58:22steward this well because God took his

58:25time with me the same way that he took

58:27his time with you. All of us are in his

58:29study. We are all learning as we go. I'm

58:32learning as I go. Every time I study is

58:34something new.

58:37So this is the reason why the spirit is

58:40grieved when we do things. Can y'all

58:42imagine how painful? Think about that

58:44y'all. Whenever we think of intimacy

58:46with other people, think about that.

58:48Whenever we think about intimacy in our

58:50friendships and our relationships and we

58:52pour our heart and our love and we

58:55extend ourselves to people and they keep

58:58throwing it in our face or they just

59:00drop the ball or they let us down. We

59:02get hurt, right?

59:05We feel grieved, right?

59:07I've been studying the book of Amos. God

59:10done whooped me up something good in the

59:12book of I I can't even go deep into

59:14that. I've been studying that because I

59:15have to study. That's what he called me

59:16to do because we're supposed to be

59:18contending to the faith. So, I've been

59:19having to study that. And what I

59:22realized in that, I saw so many

59:24judgments, right? It's it's it's an

59:27amazing book, but it's heavy. And there

59:29were judgment after judgment. And y'all

59:31know who got the worst judgment? Y'all,

59:33who did we study in Exodus? Who are we

59:34TALKING ABOUT? WHO DID God rescue in

59:37Exodus?

59:39Y'all know who had the the worst

59:40judgment

59:42was the Israelites.

59:46Do y'all remember what God did for the

59:48Israelites? He walked with them.

59:51He rescued them. He walked with them.

59:55They knew God's commands. He talked with

59:58them.

1:00:00God said, "I had an intimate

1:00:02relationship. Y'all got to know me, the

1:00:04intimate God, the covenantal God. I I

1:00:07showed you who the covenantal God is."

1:00:09And what we saw was the grief.

1:00:13We saw righteous anger from God.

1:00:17We saw righteous anger from God.

1:00:21God said, "The very people, the

1:00:24Philistines, the Egyptians, the pagans,

1:00:26the very people

1:00:29that got to see me rescue you are the

1:00:32very people that are about to see

1:00:34judgment come upon you, come upon you

1:00:37because I walked with you. I was

1:00:40faithful to you. I loved you. I gave you

1:00:43this land. I gave it to you." That's the

1:00:45same thing for us. So when God says, "I

1:00:49I put a seed in you

1:00:52and I've been watering this seed and it

1:00:54has grown and blossomed and grew into

1:00:57the blessing that I have for you and

1:00:59your children and your grandchildren and

1:01:00the people that I've assigned to you."

1:01:03And then you turn on me. Yeah.

1:01:08Yeah. And then when you go back and you

1:01:10read Genesis 2 and just to know how

1:01:12intimate God was with us, he said, "I

1:01:14formed you, y'all." This is the clay

1:01:15master.

1:01:17In Jeremiah, God told him to go back to

1:01:20the potter's house.

1:01:24We are reminded that God is the ultimate

1:01:26potter.

1:01:29Y'all know how delicate potters have to

1:01:31be whenever when they're making things.

1:01:33They take their time.

1:01:37Just intricacy. They take their time.

1:01:39That's how God was with us. So we have

1:01:41to remember that that he loved us so

1:01:43much that amongst the divine counsel

1:01:45they said we're going to make them in

1:01:46the likeness of us and God said I'm

1:01:49going to breathe the breath of life my

1:01:51spirit unto them

1:01:54y'all get that. Do y'all understand the

1:01:55importance of that?

1:01:58So I wanted to say that cuz I want y'all

1:02:00to understand that. Okay. Right.

1:02:02Exactly. That's why he doesn't want us

1:02:04moving like that. We had a short study

1:02:05today y'all. Next study is going to be

1:02:07longer. We're about to go into the

1:02:08Garden of Eden. I I love talking about

1:02:51decide to lie and do something that God

1:02:53detest, before you decide to do any of

1:02:55that, remember who you are.

1:03:00the faces, the emojis. Remember who you

1:03:03are. We are representatives of the

1:03:05kingdom.

1:03:07I had to own up to that. I had to

1:03:08apologize to God a bit at times cuz I

1:03:10was cutting up at one time in my life.

1:03:12I'm like, "Good Lord, I didn't even know

1:03:13I was representing you this whole time.

1:03:15Even in the things that I was doing

1:03:16wrong, we are representatives

1:03:20of the kingdom of God. We are agents of

1:03:22the kingdom of God. There will be

1:03:24kingdom on earth. Heaven will be on

1:03:25earth one of these days. And we are on

1:03:28assignment." So, what we are about to

1:03:30see in the book of Amos, what I thought

1:03:32was funny was God was pretty much

1:03:34saying,

1:03:36Israel, when I do what I do to you,

1:03:40don't act confused.

1:03:42Don't act like you didn't know it was

1:03:44coming. And I thought that was funny

1:03:46because what I see in the churches,

1:03:50the doctrine being perverted, what I'm

1:03:52seeing happening in the world right now,

1:03:55and I'm like, so when God comes

1:03:58and he says, I'm about to put judgment

1:04:00on the people who are blaspheming and

1:04:03the people who are doing evil things in

1:04:05my name like Israel was doing. He said,

1:04:07don't be confused when it happens.

1:04:10And it's the same thing for us.

1:04:14If we do wrong,

1:04:16if we mock God, if we represent God

1:04:19poorly and we have to face the

1:04:22consequences, we cannot be confused

1:04:23because we saw and we read it ourselves

1:04:26that we were made in the image of God in

1:04:28the likeness of God and we have certain

1:04:30capacities and moral responsibilities

1:04:33whether we like it or not. This is the

1:04:36reason why whatever the Bible says

1:04:38whatever your hand finds to do, do it

1:04:40well. So whatever God entrust in you,

1:04:43whatever your hand fights to do, whether

1:04:45it's your friendships, it's marriage,

1:04:47it's your job, I don't care what it is,

1:04:48do it well, get to work on time, I don't

1:04:51care what it is, you are representative

1:04:53of the kingdom. Everything you do

1:04:56should nothing be detestable in God's

1:04:58eye. We are representatives and we got

1:05:01to do this the right way. There is

1:05:03somebody assigned to us and we always

1:05:05have to remember it.

1:05:10new prescription glasses. We seeing the

1:05:12world differently.

1:07:10God around the clock, having to read

1:07:12some of the the books in the Bible that

1:07:14you really don't want to read because

1:07:16they're so heavy. Having to go out and

1:07:18give Look, Amos didn't want to do that.

1:07:20Amos like I'm a shepherd. But he had to

1:07:21do it. Like prophets don't speak because

1:07:24they feel like it. They speak because

1:07:26God spoke a word. Yeah. So, I've I've I

1:07:29understand y'all. We are the same. We

1:07:31brothers and sisters in Christ. I have

1:07:33been in this very uncomfortable, very

1:07:36uncomfortable position because of where

1:07:37God has taken me next. And I can't go

1:07:40after the same thing with

1:07:42Paul and Barnabas. Well, Saul at that

1:07:44time, Saul and Barnabas. You can't God

1:07:46ain't going to commission you unless

1:07:48you're ready. And y'all remember in

1:07:50Acts, they layered their spiritual

1:07:52disciplines. Remember that. So, they had

1:07:54the fast. They fellowshipped. Remember,

1:07:56fellowship is important. These Bible

1:07:57studies are important for us. Fast and

1:08:00fellowship and praying and worshiping

1:08:02and all of that. You have to layer your

1:08:04spiritual disciplines when you're about

1:08:05to go out and it can be heavy sometime,

1:08:07y'all.

1:08:09Yep. Seeing and hearing things. So, what

1:08:11are y'all going to take from today? Make

1:08:13sure y'all like and share. By the way,

1:08:15I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have told

1:08:16y'all that while ago. We are going to be

1:08:18in verse eight. Um, I do have a lot of

1:08:22notes here and over here, but I'm going

1:08:24to figure out how far I want to go in

1:08:27verse from verse 8 cuz I I don't know

1:08:31if I want to take it all the way to

1:08:33chapter 3 yet cuz there are so many key

1:08:35things that we have to talk about in the

1:08:37next couple of verses. Okay,

1:08:41God.

1:08:44Okay. So, when it comes to fasting, uh,

1:08:46I'm I'm always going to tell you to pray

1:08:48first. Pray first. Um, you can fast for

1:08:51a day. You can fast for a couple of

1:08:53hours. Just make sure in that time of

1:08:54fasting, you're really spending time in

1:08:56the presence of God. You're reading his

1:08:58word. You're communing with God. You're

1:08:59worshiping. Put on you some worship

1:09:01music and stuff like that. And

1:09:02fellowship is good in the time. I know

1:09:04that um I've seen a number of churches

1:09:07that have been on 7-day fast. Uh some

1:09:10churches have been on 21day fast. Y'all

1:09:12can fast for 24 hours as long as you are

1:09:14abstaining from food. Okay? And in that

1:09:16time of fast, don't be on social media.

1:09:18Don't be over there watching TV and

1:09:20stuff and all that. In the time that

1:09:21you're fasting, read the word of God. I

1:09:23have done a number of fasts. I can tell

1:09:25y'all, I've done a 4-hour fast and got

1:09:27my answers. I've done fast for several

1:09:30days and got answers. I've done a fast

1:09:31for 24 hours and got answers. I've done

1:09:34those fasts as long as you are taking

1:09:35the time to abstain from food. So, I

1:09:37encourage you to do that because that is

1:09:39fasting, okay? Actually, not eating is

1:09:44true fasting. And so, of course, your

1:09:46your physically your body may feel like

1:09:49it's weak, but a lot of times you're

1:09:51going through this real uncomfortable

1:09:52process. I have spiritually and

1:09:55physically there's been a cleaning in my

1:09:57system from fasting. It's been tough,

1:09:59but it's been worth it because I

1:10:02definitely have received answers from

1:10:03God. I definitely have received

1:10:05instruction from God as well. Yes, I

1:10:08drink on my fast. I drink water.

1:10:10Clearly, I drink water on my fast, but I

1:10:13do abstain from food. And I can tell

1:10:16y'all that fast fasting is not it's not

1:10:18always comfortable. I've had to release

1:10:20a lot of things from fasting. And I also

1:10:23realized that I was dependent on food. I

1:10:26go to food before I go to God. Baby, I

1:10:28run the Wendy's in a heartbeat.

1:10:31That

1:10:32>> Yes. And if you are married, because

1:10:34when I fast, I tell my husband as well

1:10:36because we have to be on the same page.

1:10:38No sex, none of that. like we have to be

1:10:39on the same exact page. And thank God I

1:10:42have the husband that I have because

1:10:43when I'm fasting, he fast as well. So he

1:10:45knows we have to step away from whatever

1:10:47it is. So it's the same. Abstain

1:10:50from everything if you can in the time

1:10:52that you're fasting. If you are not

1:10:54physically prepared to do a 48 or 72hour

1:10:59water fast, do not beat yourself down

1:11:02and think that God is gonna beat you for

1:11:04not being able to do that. God is gentle

1:11:06with us. He is a gentle God. He

1:11:07understands it. He knows that we're

1:11:10struggling, especially when you're

1:11:11breaking a stronghold. I had to break a

1:11:13stronghold in fasting. And so God was

1:11:15very patient and understanding me cuz it

1:11:17was hard. Okay? But he was patient and

1:11:19understanding cuz trust me, baby, them

1:11:22first two days of fasting, my head was

1:11:24pounding. I was crying. I was

1:11:27struggling. I think on one of the days,

1:11:29I slipped up and I was like, I'm going

1:11:30to eat. And I deeply regretted that. But

1:11:33I did. And God was understanding. I'm

1:11:36not going to sit here and play like

1:11:38Chad. I ain't perfect. I was like, I'm

1:11:40about to die. I don't know how I'm do

1:11:42this. I ain't had a I don't know the

1:11:45last time I had a Dr. Pepper. I'm losing

1:11:46my mind right now.

1:11:50I was struggling. I said, "Good God

1:11:52almighty."

1:11:54Okay, so we're going to keep Bible

1:11:56studies on Tuesday. Let's get ready to

1:11:57get out of this. Um, what about when you

1:12:00have to Okay, so I do that as well

1:12:01because I take medicine also. So I have

1:12:04a window. I have a 20our fast window and

1:12:07I have a 4hour eating window. And that's

1:12:10okay. You know, it's fine. I have a

1:12:124-hour eating window and then I have a

1:12:1420-hour fast window. And so in that

1:12:164-hour eating window is when I take my

1:12:18medicine. However, I'm sure if it's

1:12:21absolutely something like you've been

1:12:22doing something consistent, I'm sure God

1:12:23ain't going to beat you down for that.

1:12:24Just drink it with some water, talk to

1:12:26God about it. But I take mines in the

1:12:28window that I take. I talked to God

1:12:30about it. We had it right here. We had a

1:12:33good understanding of where I need to be

1:12:34and God was fine with it. Yeah. And

1:12:36you're diabetic. So that's okay if

1:12:38you're diabetic and you can fast cuz

1:12:40like okay, let's say uh let's say if

1:12:43you're diabetic, I don't know if you

1:12:45take insulin injections or if you're

1:12:47like on metformin or anything like that.

1:12:48I don't know what you're on. But at

1:12:50night time, if you can fast, like if you

1:12:52can dedicate an hour or two to God in

1:12:55that time not eating, it's okay. I don't

1:12:58want y'all to beat y'all yourself up if

1:12:59you cannot do a 24-hour fast. It's okay.

1:13:05It's okay. You're going to be fine. I

1:13:08promise you, you're not going to hell

1:13:10because you can't fast for more than two

1:13:12hours. God's not going to beat you down

1:13:14unless he has absolutely instruct you to

1:13:16do so. It's okay as long as in that time

1:13:18you are honoring God. Like I said, I

1:13:21have heard God answer my question,

1:13:24answer my plea in 4 hours.

1:13:27and did a whole shift and turn around in

1:13:29those four hours because in that time of

1:13:31fasting, I dedicated my time and my fast

1:13:35to God. Okay? He understands y'all,

1:13:38baby. Okay? Y'all going to be okay?

1:13:41Don't beat yourself up. God loves us.

1:13:43Don't let people make y'all believe that

1:13:45God is a monster. I seen these churches

1:13:47that's doing these fasts and stuff. I'm

1:13:49not doing that fast unless God tell me

1:13:50to do it. No disrespect to y'all, but

1:13:52I'm need to talk to God about that. And

1:13:54it depends on my schedule. If I know

1:13:55I'll work a a laborsome job

1:14:00where I'm lifting all day, there's no

1:14:02way I'm doing seven days. Can't do it.

1:14:05I'll do from

1:14:08I don't know. I'll do eight to four or

1:14:10something like that. Okay?

1:14:12Talk to God about it. Let God tell

1:14:14y'all. But I'm just saying, I've seen

1:14:15it. God ain't going to I promise y'all

1:14:21him out to be. He's understanding. Just

1:14:25you to do it a certain way, listen to

1:14:26God. But he understands with the medical

1:14:28issues and stuff and all that that we

1:15:03it's been such a long time. It was a

1:15:05time where we were under Rabbi Hana Joe

1:15:08and she had us doing a Daniel fast and

1:15:11I've been doing that 21 days. I was like

1:15:14no God ain't told me to do that. I'm

1:15:17talk to God about it and he ain't tell

1:15:19me to do it. And I was like, "No,

1:15:21I had my windows that I do and I didn't

1:15:24get in trouble from God. I heard the

1:15:25same things that I needed to hear from

1:15:26God and it was the same. So if he ain't

1:15:29called me to do it with the church, I'm

1:15:30not going to do it. And I'm not going to

1:15:32sit here and feel worldly conviction

1:15:33about it unless God convicts me.

1:15:36I'm just not going to do it unless God

1:15:38convicts me and tells me otherwise. But

1:15:40I have my own personal relationship."

1:15:42Yeah. So y'all talk to God. Y'all know

1:15:44y'all relationship with God. You know,

1:15:48like I said, I struggled. I had a

1:15:49headache so bad for two days. It was a

1:15:51hunger headache out this world. Third

1:15:53day, I dropped a ball. I was crying. I

1:15:56said, "Lord, I can't do it." And then I

1:15:58ate and I wish I never did that. And

1:16:01then I was restored. It was like, "All

1:16:02right, let's try this again." And then

1:16:04I've been on the the up and up, but I I

1:16:06did have my weak moments. I fell into

1:16:07temptation, too, cuz

1:16:10what I said, "Oh, Lord, I actually got

1:16:12to journal about it." But let's keep

1:16:14going. All right. Okay, y'all. Let's get

1:16:16ready to go out. All right. Father God,

1:16:19we thank you for bringing us together in

1:16:21this moment. And we received a word

1:16:23today, God. We take the time to show up,

1:16:26God, in this posture of gratitude, just

1:16:29thanking you for taking your time and

1:16:31being delicate with us in the process,

1:16:33Father God, and being forgiving and

1:16:35merciful, Father God. And so we thank

1:16:37you for the grace that continues to

1:16:38cover us day in and day out. Knowing

1:16:40that we are restored to you, Father God,

1:16:42and knowing that we have the ability to

1:16:44be sanctified and we have the ability to

1:16:47be found in Christ Jesus, Father God,

1:16:49because of the grace and our faith,

1:16:51Father God. And so we take this time

1:16:52right now, Father God, to show up for

1:16:54you, Father God, and thanking you for

1:16:56trusting us with the gifts that you have

1:16:58stored in us, Father God. And so whoever

1:17:00is in this Bible study right now, who

1:17:02has received this word of God right now,

1:17:03Father God, that as they move on in

1:17:05their journey, Father God, and in their

1:17:07assignments, that they steward what you

1:17:08have blessed them with well, Father God.

1:17:11We know that you are the author of all

1:17:12things, Father God. And we thank you for

1:17:14being the sustainer of life, Father God.

1:17:16And we thank you for your redemptive

1:17:17power. We thank you for your restorative

1:17:19power, Father God. And so in this time

1:17:21right now, Father God, whoever is going

1:17:23through anything right now, Father God,

1:17:24whoever is anxious and feels divided in

1:17:26mind, Father God, that they may show up

1:17:28to you in this same posture of

1:17:30gratitude, and thank you for all of the

1:17:32amazing things that you have done and

1:17:34the things that you are going to do.

1:17:35[snorts] Thank you for the times that

1:17:36you have rescued them and the times that

1:17:38you are going to continue to rescue

1:17:40them, Father God, that they may be able

1:17:42to have that fear and that anxiety

1:17:44neutralized in Christ Jesus, Father God.

1:17:46And we want to take the time right now,

1:17:48Father God. Thank you for being our

1:17:50shepherd, Father God, and guiding us on

1:17:52this walk, Father God, as we continue to

1:17:55face the chaos and the confusion in this

1:17:58world, Father God. You stay ahead of us,

1:18:01Father God, in walking us in the right

1:18:03direction, Father God. This has been a

1:18:06shaky time, Father God. The valley has

1:18:08seemed darker than any time before. We

1:18:11have seen the satanic horses, Father

1:18:14God. We have seen the fortresses. We

1:18:16have seen the weapons that have tried to

1:18:18come against us, we have come through,

1:18:20Father God, and we are fighting against

1:18:22these strongholds in Christ Jesus under

1:18:24the blood of Jesus right now, Father

1:18:26God. And so the authority that you have

1:18:28bestowed upon us, Father God, that we

1:18:30walk in that boldness and we walk in

1:18:32that courage and we walk in that

1:18:34authority, Father God, and we walk hand

1:18:36in hand in this partnership, in this

1:18:37thing called life with you, Father God.

1:18:40And so we love you, God, for the things

1:18:41that you are doing in our life, Father

1:18:44God. Continue to heal those who feel

1:18:46sick. Father God, continue to heal those

1:18:48who feel weak in the spirit right now.

1:18:50Father God, if anyone in this time is

1:18:53struggling to be in your presence right

1:18:54now, Father God, let those who are

1:18:56interceding on their behalf pray and war

1:18:59behind them that they are restored to

1:19:01the faith and that they may find you,

1:19:03Father God, in whatever it is that they

1:19:05are going through that the Holy Spirit

1:19:06may reign and give them comfort. And so,

1:19:09Father God, we thank you for sending our

1:19:11advocate, Father God. We thank you for

1:19:13the mediator, Father God. We thank you

1:19:15for the Holy Spirit that continues to

1:19:17guide us in this day and day life,

1:19:20Father God. And we thank you for Christ

1:19:22Jesus and the sacrifice that he made,

1:19:24Father God, and the love that you

1:19:26continue to give us, Father God. We

1:19:28thank you for the blessings in advance,

1:19:30Father God. Let us continue to steward

1:19:32and walk out this responsibility as

1:19:34kingdom ages, as representatives of you.

1:19:37And once again, we thank you for this

1:19:39opportunity to fellowship together and

1:19:41show our love for Christ Jesus. And so

1:19:44in the mighty and matchless name we

1:19:45pray. Amen. And amen again.
