0:03Okay, I think we can get started now.
0:05>> Yeah, sure.
0:07>> So, thanks everyone for joining. We have
0:09about 100 people today who have uh tuned
0:12into the webinar. Um, so today's webinar
0:16is going to be about uh a major new
0:18update that you know we have launched in
0:20recent times. Uh, you know, we've added
0:22a lot of new features uh in in in this
0:26particular update. Uh and you know all
0:29of these features are different in in
0:33terms of how they add value but
0:35collectively they make up what we call
0:37MP profit prime uh which is designed to
0:40you know really elevate wealth and
0:43portfolio reporting uh in profit. It is
0:46a major update uh that you know has been
0:49we've been working on for quite some
0:50time now. Many of you you know will
0:53resonate some of the features that we've
0:54added today. uh and uh I think it will
0:58definitely help you understand how M
1:00profit can elevate reporting of various
1:05kinds and you know userdefined
1:07customizations of different kinds in the
1:09platform for yourself. Um this update is
1:14you know available uh you know in
1:17specific and profit plans. It's not uh
1:20you know available in all plans just to
1:22let everybody know here. So uh this is M
1:25profit prime and it is available in our
1:27family office prime and wealth platinum
1:29uh prime plans. Uh we can go into more
1:32detail about you know what these plans
1:34are. Many of you already are on these
1:36plans. So you know you definitely you
1:37can just see uh that you know these
1:39features will already be available to
1:41you. Um and um you know without further
1:44ado we'll get started with you know what
1:46the session today is going to be about.
1:48So thanks everyone for joining and we'll
1:49we'll just get started right away.
1:52So you know what is M profit prime
1:54firstly you know so collectively Mrofit
1:57prime is is a a selection of different
2:00input and output features that are meant
2:03to make portfolio reporting more
2:05customizable
2:07more analytical and more detailed at an
2:10overall consolidated level in your M
2:13profit account. You know thus far you
2:15must have seen that when you are you
2:17know looking at the reports or analytics
2:19section in Mr. you are seeing your
2:23reporting at a group level or at a at an
2:25individual portfolio level or you know
2:28segregated into holdings performance and
2:30other insights. Uh the goal and the
2:32objective of why we've launched Mrropet
2:34Prime is to ensure that at a more macro
2:37level you can see overall portfolio
2:40performance segregated into different
2:42types of categories, subcategories,
2:45entities and time periods so that you
2:48can slice and dice your data better and
2:50you can actually understand how your
2:52portfolios are performing relative to
2:54you know different benchmark indices
2:56relative to one another you know uh
2:59across different risk profiles of asset
3:00classes. so on and so forth. And today's
3:03session will actually go into detail of
3:05each of the features that we have added
3:07uh so that you know you can really make
3:09the most of each and every minute
3:12feature that collectively constitutes
3:14and profit prime. These features are
3:17designed for savvy investors, family
3:20offices, wealth managers, you know, who
3:23are looking to be extremely serious and
3:26analytical about their portfolio
3:28reporting. uh and you know many and I
3:30want to say thank you to many of you who
3:32are here today because you know many of
3:35these features that we have added is uh
3:37the culmination of a lot of user
3:39feedback that we have received over over
3:40the last couple of years right uh where
3:43a lot of clients have helped us
3:45understand how exactly they would like
3:47to view their data and reporting in
3:51profit um so ultimately you know this is
3:55a direct response to some of the feature
3:58requests that have come to us over the
3:59last few years and I'm sure that when we
4:02show these features to you today, you're
4:03going to be uh resonating with a lot of
4:06the updates that we have added. So, you
4:09know, now we'll start uh with actually
4:12talking about and deep diving into the
4:13features. So, Tai, I think we can share
4:15our screen now.
4:16>> Sure.
4:17>> Yeah.
4:22So, before we get started, I wanted to
4:24explain that there are two types of
4:26prime features. one is more input driven
4:30where you can actually set create
4:33userdefined customizations for various
4:35things in the platform. Now these are
4:37new types of user customization options
4:39that we have added and the other is the
4:42output side of things the actual
4:44reporting the new reports that we've
4:45added many of you must have seen that
4:47under the report section there is a new
4:48category called prime so that second
4:51section is actually the prime reporting
4:53which we will again cover in a lot of
4:55detail today but first we will start
4:57with the building blocks of the prime
4:59reports because the prime reports are
5:02extremely useful when you actually
5:03leverage the building blocks or the
5:06input driven features the right way and
5:08the input driven customization options
5:10that we've provided you they actually
5:12will allow you to make the most of the
5:14prime reports and see the prime reports
5:16uh you know in in a certain way that you
5:19actually can leverage uh and make the
5:21most of. So you know we'll start with
5:24the building block features which are
5:26the input driven features and there are
5:27four key features that we have added uh
5:30in recent times that you know we would
5:31like to cover today. Uh starting with
5:34number one which is a new type of
5:36portfolio grouping called entity
5:38creation you know so you have mostly all
5:41of you are familiar with the concept of
5:43portfolios and groups in n profit but
5:45we've added a new type of portfolio
5:47grouping called entity creation and what
5:50entity creation does is it actually
5:52allows you to create a unique group of
5:56portfolios that is mutually exclusive
5:58from all the other groups. meaning that
6:00you can take all the portfolios that you
6:02have in Mr. and assign each portfolio
6:06uniquely to a single entity. Now what
6:08this does is for example if I have let's
6:11say three individual panwise portfolios
6:14uh and I want to create a a joint entity
6:17for those three panwise portfolios the
6:20entity feature allows you to do that and
6:22that will create a unique entity that is
6:24differentiated from all the other uh you
6:27know portfolios that are not part of
6:29that entity and what the entity feature
6:31really allows you to do is when you're
6:32looking at your overall prime reports
6:35you can create entity level splits
6:38within the prime report so that you can
6:39slice and dice your data better. For
6:41example, if you know there are three
6:44family members a ma, b ma and c ma and
6:47each of them has three individual
6:49portfolios. So you know a meta can have
6:51a brokerage portfolio, it can have a PMS
6:53portfolio and it can have another
6:55portfolio. Then you can create an AA
6:57entity which creates a group of just the
6:59A mata portfolios. And similarly you can
7:01do the same for B ma and C mata as well.
7:04And when you see the overall report for
7:06the entire family, you can actually see
7:08your reporting at an entity level which
7:10is a ma, b ma and c ma entity. And I
7:13think I can now quickly show you how
7:15this feature works.
7:17>> Yeah. So as I think also mentioned if
7:20you create multiple portfolios now there
7:22can be different use cases for example
7:25we always recommend to create different
7:28PMS portfolio so that you can also
7:30manage the underlying investments so
7:32let's say if I take a example of one
7:34entity it's a dummy portfolio basically
7:37Ajamea now if Ajamea is investing in uh
7:40some direct has direct investments also
7:42having different PMSs so we always
7:45recommend to create different portfolios
7:47to manage data for example in in this
7:49case I have created Ajamea direct
7:51portfolio okay where all the direct
7:53investments have added similarly Ajamea
7:55is also investing in PMSs let's say two
7:58different PMS ambit PMS and access PMS
8:01so for one individual entity one PAN we
8:04have created three different portfolios
8:06here okay now if you want to look at a
8:08consolidated view here the entity will
8:11help you so to create the entity you can
8:13simply click on this plus sign and there
8:15is a option now Other than portfolio and
8:18group there. Now there is a new option
8:19added called add entity. So you can
8:21click on add entity option. Give the
8:24entity name. It will be mainly a entity
8:26name or a member's name. Here you can
8:28add short name and full name. Both full
8:30name will be will appear on all the
8:32reports. Once this is done you can go to
8:35individual portfolios and do the
8:37tagging. For example I can right click
8:40on Ajametha's direct portfolio go to
8:42edit portfolio option and simply select
8:44Ajamea as an entity. Now in my case I
8:47have already linked the entity to all
8:49these portfolios. So this is how you can
8:52link it. Simply I can select it and then
8:54uh from the dropdown I can select
8:55Ajametha's entity. Similarly I have
8:58tagged the entity to two different PMS
9:01portfolios. Ajamea has ambit PMS
9:03portfolio also and access PMS portfolio
9:05also. So now if you want to look at the
9:08consolidated view on an entity level or
9:10a pan level this is how it will look
9:11like. So now this is Ajameata's entity.
9:14We have also given a shortcut icon which
9:17is slightly different than the group and
9:19the entity. You can see a slight
9:20different icon here. This is to identify
9:22this is entity and for example this is a
9:24group. Okay. So now Ajametha's entity
9:28will include everything under uh this
9:31particular view. So it will have direct
9:32investments also PMSs also and if there
9:35are multiple other portfolios. Let's say
9:37if you create broker wise portfolios it
9:39can have broker wise details also. So it
9:41will help you to look at the
9:42consolidated view as well as individual
9:45drill down views.
9:49Yeah, you want to add
9:51>> right. Right. So so thanks. So
9:53basically, you know, to add to what Tana
9:55is saying, the entity feature will allow
9:57you to I mean the reason why the entity
10:00feature is more useful than a simple
10:03group feature as well is that it
10:04actually allows you to create a new type
10:05of structure. uh where you know for each
10:08particular individual in the family you
10:10can create their own entity uh you know
10:13if you have maybe you know a separate
10:15company or an LLP also whose investments
10:17you're managing within the same family
10:18you can create all the portfol you can
10:20link all the portfolios that are
10:22specific to that specific LLP company or
10:24individual uh into their own entity and
10:28this creates a mutually exclusive
10:29grouping which uh ensures that the that
10:33particular entity's portfolios will not
10:35be shared by any other entity And that
10:37is the major difference between a
10:38regular group and an entity. So you can
10:41maintain your groups as is as you're
10:42currently doing. There is no problem
10:44with that. But entity allows you to
10:46create a new type of subdivision within
10:48your portfolio that can then further be
10:50drilled down into the family at the
10:52family level. Um and that is the power
10:55of using an entity. We highly recommend
10:57that you all start using this feature.
11:00uh especially if you have multiple
11:02portfolios within the same family and
11:04you don't necessarily always want to
11:05drill down and see the individual
11:07portfolio uh once you create the
11:09entities uh you will be able to simply
11:12go into that particular entity like we
11:13have here NR meta raa and you'll be able
11:16to actually just see the investments for
11:18that particular entity uh at a
11:20consolidated entity entity level uh so
11:24hope this is clear to everybody and if
11:26there are any questions here uh we will
11:28be happy to answer the questions uh on
11:30uh in the Q&A session that is going to
11:32open up uh after um and uh our
11:37colleagues are also on this uh session
11:39answering some of the questions live uh
11:42you know in the chat if you know anyone
11:43has specific questions about the feature
11:45but we request all of you to please if
11:47possible save your questions for the end
11:48of the webinar so that you know we can
11:50answer them in a more structured manner.
11:52Um so that is the number one feature
11:54that we've added entity entity creation
11:57something which most of you probably
11:58didn't know about before but hopefully
12:00this will be useful to you. Uh moving on
12:03the next feature we would like to talk
12:04about is not only unique to Mr. Prime
12:06customers it is a new feature we've
12:08added to actually allow you to view PMSs
12:12uh as a separate asset class within
12:14groups entities and at the overall
12:16family level. uh this feature actually
12:19is a simple preference change which you
12:21can make uh uh you know at at an overall
12:24uh account level uh where you can simply
12:27change how you want to view PMS's within
12:30a group or an entity uh and the benefit
12:33of this is that currently if you're
12:35using M profit and you're looking at
12:36your group portfolio many of you
12:37probably know that the underlying stocks
12:40within a PMS will be grouped together
12:41with the direct stocks in the group so
12:44if we can just go to the any entity
12:46right now and if you Open Yeah. If we
12:48open stocks and ETFs here currently
12:51Yeah. Yeah. Sorry.
12:52>> I'll just Yeah. Yeah.
12:58>> Yeah. So, uh as I think mentioned uh we
13:01have enabled this option where u by
13:04default if you have created a separate
13:07PMS portfolio and you have linked to any
13:09of the entity or any of the group we
13:11actually display all the underlyings of
13:13the PMS as a part of the other assets.
13:16For example, PMS scheme can have stocks,
13:18mutual fund, maybe other assets. If you
13:21by default simply link that PMS
13:23portfolio to any group or any entity,
13:25all the underlyings assets will be
13:27displayed along with the direct
13:29investments like this. So this is the
13:32default option where every single uh
13:34stock stock or mutual fund asset class
13:36will show everything including the PMS.
13:38So for example HDFC bank you can see
13:41HDFC bank is available as a part of the
13:43direct portfolio also and as a part of
13:45the PMS portfolio also. It means that
13:48all the underlyings are getting mixed
13:50with stocks and mutual funds. Here we
13:53have actually enabled a new option where
13:55if you don't want to see underlyings uh
13:58along with the uh other assets other
14:00direct investments you can simply make a
14:03small change in the preferences. So you
14:05can go to preferences option. There is a
14:07new customization option added called
14:09PMS within groups. How you want to treat
14:11it? Whether you want to see it as a
14:12underlings or if you want to see it as a
14:15scheme or as a line item meaning that a
14:18single PMS scheme will be displayed as a
14:20simp separate line item. So if I
14:22currently by default it's underlines
14:24only. If you have not used this option
14:26by default it's underline but you can
14:28easily go to any group or any entity go
14:31to preferences and select this as a line
14:33item. If I select this and click on
14:35apply, obviously the group or entity
14:38will be refreshed. And then if you look
14:40at the overall asset, you will see a new
14:43asset class called PMS. And under PMS,
14:46you will see PMS as a line item. So if
14:48you want to really see PMS uh scheme
14:51wise information, this is the right way
14:53I would recommend uh to basically change
14:56the view from preferences and you can
14:58look at the PMS as a scheme wise
15:00details. Okay. Uh a small difference
15:03here is if you look at the underlyings
15:05data cash on hand is not included in the
15:08group view. Okay. So if you want to
15:10actually look at the PMS data along with
15:13other investments including the PMS cash
15:15on hand information this is the right
15:18way to do it. You can simply go to
15:19preferences, select PMS as a line item
15:21and you will see PMS as a separate asset
15:24class added and automatically whichever
15:26PMS portfolios you have linked to this
15:28entity or a group will be displayed as a
15:30line item and obviously all other
15:32details are similar. You will see amount
15:34invested, today's gain and realized gain
15:36valuation, you can see the returns as
15:38well for different PMS schemes. So this
15:40is the easier way or nicer way to look
15:42at the overall entity level information.
15:44Of course, if you want to look at the
15:46detailed view, you can anytime click on
15:48any specific PMS portfolio and that will
15:50redirect to the specific PMS uh
15:53portfolio, individual portfolio. Okay.
15:55So, I've clicked on this ambit. So, it
15:57has redirected me to this individual PMS
15:59portfolio where you see all the
16:01underlyings and all the cash flow
16:02details as well. Okay. Okay. So this is
16:05regards to the classic view change we
16:07have made on the preferences side where
16:09you can as I mentioned again just to
16:11repeat you can go to entity or you can
16:13go to any group go to preferences and
16:16from PMS within groups you can make it
16:18as a line item instead of underlines you
16:21can select line item. On the analytic
16:23side also the settings are slightly
16:25different meaning that this particular
16:27preferences setting is for this classic
16:29view or operational view. If you want to
16:31have the similar effect on the analytics
16:34module as well, you can simply go to
16:36analytics tab. Okay, analytics can be
16:39accessed by clicking on this uh top
16:40button beside the dashboard or import
16:42which will redirect you to the new tab.
16:45From here you can go to portfolio
16:47section from the left hand side and then
16:50click on preferences. Here you will find
16:52the treatment how you want to treat it.
16:54For example, show PMS as a line item. In
16:56my case, I have enabled it. In your
16:58case, if it's disabled, you can simply
17:00enable it. Once you enable it on in in
17:04the holding tab as well as the
17:05performance tab, you will see PMS
17:08schemes uh as a line item. So,
17:10automatically you will see holding
17:12change, you will see performance change
17:14as well. Even if you are enabling this
17:16option, you can still see individual PMS
17:19portfolios on a detailed manner. Meaning
17:21that I can still go to individual PMS
17:23portfolio from here. I can select any
17:25PMS portfolio and I can still get the
17:27drill down views. I can still see the
17:29underlyings, track their performances
17:31separately. This change is mainly for
17:34the entity level or the group level
17:36where the treatment will change. Instead
17:38of showing underlines, now you can see
17:40PMS as a scheme level information or as
17:42a line item.
17:44>> This is something which I think a lot of
17:46people have requested of course and
17:47we've added it. So our recommendation is
17:49is that you do change the setting in
17:52your Mr. application especially if
17:54you're managing multiple schemes and you
17:56want to differentiate the view of PMS
18:00investments in a group portfolio or uh
18:03an entity uh and see PMS as a separate
18:06asset class because you don't want the
18:08underlines to be combined with the other
18:10asset classes that they are parts of uh
18:12we highly recommend you enable this in
18:15both analytics as well as the classic
18:16app uh so that you can just see your PMS
18:19investments as a standalone asset class
18:22uh And yeah, it's a very simple change
18:24and you know it doesn't change how you
18:26actually view an individual PMS
18:27portfolio as TMA explained but what it
18:29does is it changes how you see your
18:32PMS's com compared against each other
18:35and compared against other investments
18:37in within a single group or entity.
18:41So I think that is feature number two
18:43that we wanted to talk about on the
18:44input side of things. Uh where which
18:47will definitely benefit you while you a
18:50either view your current set of
18:52reporting or decide to view the new
18:54prime reports. Um we can definitely move
18:57on to feature number three here now
18:59which is uh customizable asset
19:01categorization. A feature called custom
19:03categories. Uh this is a very new
19:05feature we've added this year in in the
19:07past year in 2025. uh which you know is
19:10I would say one of our more popular
19:12recent features. What it allows you to
19:14do is it actually allows you to change
19:18the default asset categorizations
19:21uh the default nprofit asset
19:22categorizations in your in in your M
19:24profit account as per your own
19:26preferences. Uh the benefits of this is
19:30that you know if MP profit has
19:31categorized a specific investment for
19:33you uh you know as for example uh you
19:37know uh an arbitrage fund is categorized
19:40as equity uh you know for whatever
19:42reason and you want to override that
19:46because uh you know you are looking at
19:47an arbitrage fund differently you can
19:50now override the the asset
19:52categorization of an arbitrage fund uh
19:54in in your M profit account or any other
19:56asset for that matter.
19:58and uh you know set your own
20:00categorization and subcategorizations.
20:03Uh it can be for stocks, it can be for
20:05mutual funds, it can be for AIS or any
20:06other asset that you've imported into an
20:08profit. So if you also are someone who
20:10you know invests in a lot of Aifs and
20:13you know different AIFs are say cat one
20:15cat 2 and cat 3 in nature and you want
20:17to actually categorize different AI if
20:20investments as cat one cat 2 cat 3 or
20:22you know there are certain other types
20:24of classifications for example certainly
20:25I have some equity heavy or certainly I
20:28have somewhat debt heavy and you want to
20:29categorize them as equity or debt
20:31instead of categorizing them as other or
20:33alternates and profit now allows you to
20:35do that um and you know you can
20:37basically set your own categorization
20:40for the entire uh for your entire n
20:44profit account uh for each and every
20:45single asset class or asset at a global
20:48level and ta I think you can show this
20:50feature how powerful it can be and uh
20:52yeah I think once we see it you will
20:53actually get to see how to use it
20:55properly.
20:56>> Sure. So uh this setting or the custom
20:58categorization option is available under
21:00analytics module. So the option is under
21:03this settings button you can click on
21:05custom categories. Now cate there are
21:08two different options available to have
21:10your own categorization. So very first
21:12thing is asig mentioned uh mrofit of
21:15course follows certain categorization
21:17like equity debt retirement goal uh gold
21:20plus and so on but you can completely
21:24overwrite this categorization with your
21:26own custom categories. Okay. And
21:29definitely once you do that you can have
21:31performance by your custom categories.
21:33You can see it by your custom
21:34categorization. You can see holding
21:37details, asset allocation, insights as
21:38per custom categorization as well. So
21:41this is the option from where you can
21:42actually set different categories. You
21:45can create your own category subcategory
21:47and you can do the tagging. So there are
21:49two different labels. One is you can tag
21:51the entire asset class to a specific
21:54category. So that's the tab by asset
21:56class. I can click on this stocks and
21:58ETFs and this is the default
22:00categorization. If you look at this
22:01category
22:03certain cases like debt ETFs and profit
22:05is categor categorizing it as debt
22:08category and subcategory is debt ETF.
22:10But for example you want to treat it
22:12complete differently. Okay you can
22:14simply click on this edit categorization
22:16button at the bottom. Click on this
22:18drop-down. You will see the list of all
22:20the default categories. But if you want
22:22to create your own category simply click
22:24on new category option and create your
22:26new category. Similarly, you can select
22:30this subcategory drop-down and click on
22:32new subcategory to create your own new
22:34subcategory as well. So like this you
22:37can do on a asset class level. But let's
22:39say you don't want to do on a entire
22:41asset class level. You can also do this
22:43on a individual asset level. Every
22:45single investment you have for example a
22:48mutual fund a stock or a EIF scheme or a
22:51PMS scheme. You can also do this
22:53tagging. So you can go to this buy asset
22:55option. Let's say select mutual fund.
22:57Expand the mutual fund section. You will
22:59see how by default M profit is
23:01categorizing. For example, SBI large cap
23:04fund regular plan is categorized as
23:05equity and equity funds. Again, you can
23:07click on edit categorization option and
23:11tag it to your own category. From here,
23:13again, you can create your own category,
23:15select it. Similarly, you can select a
23:17subcategory or you can create a new
23:19subcategory and tag this asset to that
23:21particular category. This is one time
23:23tagging only. Meaning that one time you
23:25tag this particular asset next whatever
23:28new transactions are adding getting
23:30added into this particular asset will be
23:32automatically considered for this
23:33category. Okay. Only if there is a new
23:36kind of a investment a fresh investment
23:39uh a new kind of a mutual fund scheme
23:41which you have which you don't have in
23:42your portfolio. If that comes then you
23:44have to simply go to this option again
23:46come to this option uh cate uh view
23:49again and simply do the categorization
23:50once. Okay. If you simply want to look
23:53at the overall view which are different
23:56and profit categories and which are the
23:57categories created by you there is a
23:59category master option available here.
24:01There's a button available at the
24:03bottom. You can click on this category
24:05masters and this will give you the list
24:06of all the categories and subcategories
24:08you have. So for example any category uh
24:12which is to find out whether it's a
24:13system category, default category or a
24:15custom category you will find a label
24:17here. For example, cash is a M profit
24:19default meaning that it's a MP profits
24:21default category. If you expand it, you
24:23might see a custom view as well, a
24:26custom category as well. Similarly, any
24:28other categories like in in my case, I
24:30have created alternates which is my
24:32custom category which I have created.
24:34So, I can see which are the
24:35subcategories I have created. From here,
24:37you can also delete the category or
24:40subcategories or you can simply rename
24:41it from here. Okay. Okay. So we have
24:44given the complete control on uh
24:46creating your own views. We understand
24:49that uh certain uh clients would like to
24:52see data in a certain way. For example,
24:54private equity uh investments for
24:57example NC and national stock exchange
24:59which is unlisted asset you might have
25:00created it under private equity managed
25:02it under private equity asset class
25:04which M profit categorize it as a equity
25:07category. But let's say you want to
25:08treat it complete separately. You have
25:10to create your own custom category
25:12called alternates and you want to tag it
25:13there. Now you can easily do that from
25:16this custom categorization feature and
25:18once you create your own categories and
25:21subcategories we are providing multiple
25:23different views. Of course we'll talk
25:25about the prime reports which we have
25:26where you will see uh the detailed view
25:29to understand the um XR and benchmark
25:32comparison and a lot of other insights.
25:34But from the analytics view, we are also
25:36providing a portfolio view which is
25:39similar to the classic view portfolio
25:41screen which is this view I'm talking
25:43about. Here you can see the uh uh
25:45information by asset classes which are
25:48Mr. default asset classes, right? But in
25:50analytics, once you have your own
25:52categorization, we have added the option
25:54to look at the overall portfolio by
25:57asset, which is again profit default
26:00asset classes. But we have also added
26:02now to look at the portfolio by
26:04category. So if you uh have your own
26:06categorization, you can actually look at
26:08the portfolio or a summary of all your
26:10investments as per your own custom
26:12categorization. And again on the screen
26:14as you see everything is real time. So I
26:17I can click on any specific equity uh
26:20any specific category to look at the
26:22subcategory views. Again I can click on
26:24any specific subcategory to look at the
26:26individual scheme details as well. For
26:29example, PMS scheme wise details. So now
26:31we have enabled this option on the
26:33analytic side where you can see
26:35portfolio summary screen by category.
26:38Okay. Or if you have custom
26:39categorization by custom categories as
26:41well. Similarly, if you want to
26:44understand the overall insights, holding
26:47details, performance details, even that
26:49is possible. Meaning, I can click on any
26:51custom category from here. I can click
26:53on let's say equity category just to
26:56understand my equity holdings. Okay.
26:59Similarly, I can again drill down into
27:01every single category subcategory to get
27:03more details. Similarly, I can go to
27:05performance tab just to understand a
27:08specific category performance. Again
27:10this option will have a subcategory view
27:12as well. If I click on uh uh if I go to
27:15performance by subcategory view this
27:17will give me a subcategory wise details
27:19and how every single subcategory of this
27:22equity category is performing. Again I
27:24can drill down into specific category to
27:26have more details. Meaning you can have
27:29your own custom categorization and you
27:31can see holding insights as well as
27:33performance insights as per your custom
27:35categories or as per your custom
27:37subcategories as well. And u this entire
27:41thing will you can actually get it as a
27:42consolidated under our prime report
27:45which we'll talk about.
27:48>> Yeah you want to add add anything on
27:50this.
27:50>> Yeah. Yeah. So so thanks a lot Tai. So
27:52basically custom categories is a feature
27:55which to recap which allows you to
27:57override the default M profit
27:58categorizations. If you don't use the
28:00feature also M profit sets its own
28:02categorizations and subcategorizations
28:03as Panmai has shown you. But this gives
28:06you you know another dimension of
28:07customizable uh uh ability uh for your
28:11uh for your own reporting and profit.
28:13And we highly recommend that you use it
28:15because we are sure that you know there
28:17will always be certain assets that you
28:19want to classify under certain unique
28:21categorizations and then get to see uh
28:24the the views and the reporting
28:26accordingly. Uh so we highly recommend
28:28that you use the custom categories
28:30feature and make the most of it. And we
28:32will also show you how this feature then
28:34ultimately ties into the actual reports
28:36that we will be covering in the report
28:38section. Before we move on to the report
28:40section, we'll just cover one last uh
28:42you know userdefined customization
28:44feature. Uh and that is on the benchmark
28:46front. Uh now under M profit prime,
28:49we've added the ability for you to see
28:52actual benchmark performance in your
28:55prime reports. This benchmark
28:57performance is something which is only
28:59available in M profit prime and the
29:01reason is that for every single
29:03benchmark comparison that is reported in
29:05M profits prime reports M profit
29:08actually replicates the cash flows in
29:11the uh from the portfolio in the
29:12benchmark and this actually means that
29:15every single cash flow is you know
29:18replicated in in the benchmark of your
29:20choice for that particular portfolio or
29:22category and that will actually give you
29:25an apples to apples view of how that
29:27portfolio or that particular category
29:28has performed relative to the benchmark
29:30of your choice. So this new feature that
29:33we've added is called benchmark settings
29:35at a global level. And what it does is
29:37for any portfolio, any category or any
29:39subcategory that you were managing in N
29:41profit, you can set your own benchmark.
29:43The benchmark can either be a single
29:45index, single index or it can be a
29:48combination or a blend of different
29:49benchmark indices. Why is the blend
29:52feature useful? Because sometimes a
29:54portfolio is not just purely equity or
29:56purely debt or it's not just purely uh
29:59you know large cap. It is a combination
30:01of large cap midcap and small cap or
30:04it's a different it's a it's a
30:05permutation and combination of multiple
30:06different parameters for which the
30:08benchmark has to be uniquely set. So you
30:11know in n profit we have about over 80
30:13plus benchmarks out of which many of
30:15them are TR try indices also we have a
30:18few debt benchmarks as well and then we
30:19have a range of other benchmarks that
30:21you can choose from and you can now
30:23build your own custom benchmark using
30:27this global benchmark settings feature
30:29that allows you to then get your own
30:32type of benchmark for every single
30:33portfolio or category or subcategory
30:36that you have managing in M profit and
30:40uh TA I think you can just show how this
30:41particular benchmark settings work and
30:43then we can show how it actually
30:45reflects in the prime reports.
30:46>> Sure. So again the option is available
30:48in analytics and uh it's under settings
30:51option you can see benchmark settings as
30:54also mentioned uh you can set custom
30:57benchmarks on three different levels. Uh
30:59one is a portfolio level second is a
31:02category level and third is a
31:03subcategory level. So for example you
31:05can uh assign a equity specific index to
31:09equity category debt specific index to
31:11debt category or on a entire portfolio
31:14level if the portfolio is consisting of
31:16certain equity certain debt investments
31:18you can create a blended benchmark and
31:20also u add a synthetic blended benchmark
31:23assign a blended benchmark to that
31:25particular portfolio. So this is the
31:27option as you see there's a category
31:28wise option available as well as the
31:30portfolio- wise option available by
31:32default of course uh M profit shows a
31:35default index which is TRI nifty50 but
31:38if needed you can change the buy default
31:40benchmark as well from here but
31:42otherwise you can have multiple
31:44different indexes so on a for a main
31:46category level like alternates is a main
31:48category or cash is a main category I
31:51can set a specific index from here so
31:53again I'll get a option you get a option
31:55to select individual index or you can
31:57select a blend. You can create your
31:59customized blend and then select it.
32:01Similarly, for every single subcategory
32:03you create, you can also have a separate
32:05index again single or builded benchmark
32:09blended index. So, this is one option
32:11available. Similarly, on a portfolio
32:13level or a group level again you can
32:15have a different indexes. So, these are
32:18the family dummy family list I have. For
32:21example, if I go to Ma family, you can
32:23see on a entire Ma family level, a group
32:26level, I can have a separate index
32:28selected by clicking on this small icon.
32:30It will again open a window where I can
32:32select an individual index or a blended.
32:34Similarly, I can tag different
32:36portfolios
32:38on a entity level, group level or even
32:41individual portfolio level. So first uh
32:43section is the groups where we display
32:45entities and groups and the second
32:47section is individual portfolios where
32:49we display the portfolios. From here you
32:51can do a tagging or you can assign
32:54different indices to individual
32:56portfolios as well. So very simple
32:58option available and it's one time
33:00setting only. Once you set it you can
33:02straight away generate prime reports and
33:04this uh uh tagging will automatically
33:07reflect in the prime report. We'll talk
33:09about the prime report in a bit. But
33:11this is how the uh options are. You can
33:13easily select or you can easily tag
33:16different custom indices on a category
33:19level, subcategory level, portfolio
33:21level or even a group level or entity
33:23level as well.
33:26and on both the places category or
33:28portfolio wise let's say you don't want
33:29to tag all the different assets or all
33:32the all the different categories or all
33:34the different portfolios you can choose
33:35a default benchmark here which is a
33:37standard benchmark so let's say you have
33:39a 10 you have overall 10 portfolios in
33:42your family for five portfolios you want
33:44to actually assign a specific index a
33:46custom index you can do that rest of the
33:49five portfolios if you don't want to go
33:50and individually assign you can simply
33:52select a default benchmark so wherever
33:54you're not assigned anything this
33:57default benchmark will be automatically
33:58used.
34:04>> Yeah. Yeah.
34:05>> Yeah. So, so to summarize again both of
34:09these features custom categories and
34:10benchmark settings are available to you
34:13on in the prime plan under the
34:15preferences menu uh on the top right uh
34:19in the analytics tab. Uh so once you
34:22have set the custom categories and and
34:24the the user definfined benchmarks of
34:26your choice you will then be able to see
34:29how these reflect in the actual prime
34:31reports that we will now be covering in
34:33detail. Uh so that essentially
34:36summarizes the the building blocks of
34:38the profit prime reports. uh to
34:41summarize again entity creation uh you
34:43know viewing PMS's as a line item as a
34:45separate asset class uh custom
34:47categorization of your asset allocation
34:50and fourthly benchmark settings these
34:53four things can you know really make a
34:55difference to how your actual reporting
34:57is generated uh and now we will quickly
35:01move over to the actual reports which
35:03you are all really interested to see uh
35:05so that you can see how these features
35:07actually tie in together Um yeah so you
35:11know without further ado let us move on
35:13to the prime reports tai um
35:17>> as you can see tenmai has his screen
35:18open with the prime reports uh we have
35:21opened a group here because you know the
35:23the in a group or an entity or at the
35:25family group level uh there are multiple
35:28different prime reports available that
35:29allow you to see consolidated insights
35:32for the entire group or family or entity
35:36um you know with all the different
35:37performance metrics for every single
35:39investment. ment that is part of that
35:41particular group segregated as per your
35:43own requirements. Uh so we will start
35:46firstly with the advanced performance
35:48snapshot report. Uh you know this report
35:50basically gives you one single
35:52comprehensive performance snapshot uh
35:55either at the group level or at an
35:56individual portfolio level uh with the
35:58key performance metrics uh broken down.
36:01So if it's at the group level it'll be
36:03broken down into different portfolios
36:05that are part of that group and then we
36:06can just show that report once. Yeah.
36:11So this is how the report looks like
36:13where you uh it's a overall snapshot of
36:16line item wise information you will get.
36:18So you can see every single portfolio as
36:20a line item just to understand the
36:22returns and benchmark comparison in a
36:25single view. Uh and this benchmark XR as
36:28as we just showed you you can have
36:30different indexes selected or blended
36:33benchmark selected for every single
36:35portfolio. So that uh setting will
36:38basically reflect in this report. But
36:39this report will help you understand the
36:41portfolio level returns on a high level.
36:43Again we have a detailed report
36:45available as well which we'll show it to
36:46you after this. But this is just a
36:48snapshot of the entire family to
36:51understand which are the different
36:53portfolios, how much is the return every
36:55single portfolio is making. And in the
36:58same report you will also get the
36:59benchmark comparison of course along
37:01with the other details such as closing
37:03valuation, total inflow that is your
37:05total investment, total outflow and the
37:07absolute gain. Here absolute gain is is
37:10is basically a overall total gain in
37:13value as well as in percentage and all
37:15these reports are downloadable in PDF as
37:18well as Excel formats also available on
37:20a view like this on mobile as well as
37:22the web app.
37:25uh this particular report as I have
37:26opened the sample report but let me
37:28quickly talk about the customization
37:29options also the sample report is
37:32basically showing the portfolio wise
37:34details but we just talk about the
37:36entity creation this is a new feature we
37:38have added so you can actually generate
37:40this report and select grouping as a
37:43entity wise instead of portfolio- wise
37:45so you will also get to know the entity
37:48wise details I've already generated this
37:50report here so I'll just quickly show it
37:51to you this is how the entity wise view
37:53looks like here instead of every single
37:56portfolio you can see every single
37:59entity available under one family. So
38:01you can see the family level returns and
38:03then entity wise break up nj ma a method
38:06are different entities or pans or
38:08members in the family. This will give
38:10you entity wise understanding how every
38:12single entity investment is performing
38:14what is the return benchmark comparison
38:16and other insights. So this is a
38:18snapshot uh report we have. Uh and of
38:22course there are other customization
38:23options available as well. The main
38:25option is the performance uh the the
38:26period section where not only all to
38:29date but for any period of time you can
38:30generate this report. If you just want
38:32to analyze uh specific period returns
38:35maybe last financial year okay or any
38:37custom period you can select we have a
38:39option to select the custom uh period as
38:41well. So last 2 years, last 3 years, you
38:43can select from and to date and this
38:45will give you a overall performance
38:47snapshot of entire family uh broken down
38:51by portfolio or by entity.
38:54So I just wanted to say that here you
38:56can see how the entity feature actually
38:57plays in uh because once you have
39:00created your entities there are multiple
39:01different portfolios in this particular
39:03family but we grouped all the different
39:05portfolios into different entities and
39:07then we saw the advanced performance
39:08snapshot only at the entity level which
39:10give you a clean crisp understanding of
39:13how each entity has actually performed.
39:16uh you know so that entity will combine
39:18the individual direct portfolios the PMS
39:20portfolios and any other portfolios for
39:22that particular person.
39:24Metas all of that portfolios combined
39:26together. You see his performance as a
39:28single line item here. Uh and this gives
39:30you a clean view of your own investments
39:34across different family members rather
39:36than seeing you know multiple portfolios
39:38which also you can do of course but if
39:40you want to keep it you know simple and
39:42neat and easy to understand then the
39:44entity feature really is powerful uh to
39:46use when you actually view these
39:48advanced reports. So yeah that that is
39:51basically how the advanced performance
39:52snapshot works. Uh we can then move on
39:55to the next report which is a little
39:57more detailed version of the advanced
39:58performance snapshot which is called the
40:00advanced performance review. Now this
40:02report actually gives you detailed
40:04performance insights
40:06for an entire group or family uh
40:10bifoccated into different categories and
40:12subcategories. And this is where the
40:14custom categories feature also comes
40:15into play where if you have created your
40:18own categorization and subcategorization
40:20for different asset classes. You can
40:23actually see a breakdown of the
40:24different categories and subcategories
40:26and within each category subcategory you
40:28can see which assets are actually part
40:30of each category. And you then get to
40:32see what the performance is of the
40:35entire group of each category of each
40:38subcategory and every single asset
40:40within each category and subcategory.
40:44Not just that you get to see all the key
40:45performance metrics including the IRRa
40:48and the benchmark IR. And again the
40:50benchmark IRRa here for each category
40:52and subcategory will be based on
40:54whatever benchmark you have set. So all
40:57of the different customization options
40:58are actually playing in together here to
41:00give you a completely customizable
41:03report for yourself. Uh and you know TA
41:06I think you can again we since you have
41:08the report open we can talk about the
41:10different customization options here
41:11also which can allow someone to view
41:13this report in many different ways.
41:14>> And one last thing you can definitely
41:16generate this report for any time period
41:18of your choice.
41:19>> Yeah. Uh so just to show you the
41:22customization option now this single
41:23report we have provided multiple
41:25customization options and I'll say that
41:28you can actually generate 10 to
41:30different uh 10 to 15 different variants
41:32of this reports by simply doing
41:33customization. So if I generate this
41:36report you will get a options to
41:37customize this report. Of course the
41:38period option is available any specific
41:41period you can generate this report
41:43financial year wise calendar year wise
41:45or month specific month specific quarter
41:48or for any custom period. We have also
41:50given option to see the grouping. Okay,
41:52grouping by assets by entities and then
41:55there are two more options available.
41:57Asset wise with portfolio split where
41:59the asset name will come first and below
42:02that you will see a portfolio details.
42:04Then portfolio- wise with asset splits
42:06where the portfolio name will come first
42:07and then the different assets. There are
42:09other customization options available.
42:11You can sort the columns by different uh
42:14datas like closing valuation, XR, total
42:16gain, total gain percentage. You can
42:18sort it. You can decide the direction as
42:20well. If you simply want to generate a
42:22plain report just to understand the
42:24asset returns, you can also hide the
42:26benchmark returns. Okay. But if you want
42:29to get a benchmark comparison along with
42:31the asset returns, you can select this
42:33benchmark return. I show we have also
42:35given option whether you want to uh get
42:38the comparison on a asset level. Meaning
42:40that by default uh this report will be
42:43generated with a benchmark comparison
42:45for entity category and subcategory. But
42:49for every single asset if you want to
42:52have a benchmark uh comparison you can
42:54simply click on this show button and you
42:56will see that u uh for every single
42:59asset there will be a benchmark
43:02calculation will a benchmark return so
43:03that you can compare every single asset
43:05as well whether it's a stock mutual fund
43:07PMS AI or any other asset class recently
43:10we have also added one very important
43:12option this is again as per all the
43:15feedback we have received from different
43:17clients that certain cases is uh if the
43:21investments if the asset holding is less
43:23than 12 months you have bought the asset
43:25very recently maybe just 4 months or 6
43:27months ago for that it's not actually
43:31proper way to calculate the XR right
43:34because uh XR will make sense if you are
43:36holding a asset for more than one year
43:38at least more than 12 months so we have
43:41given the option here to select uh the
43:44absolute gain for certain assets if
43:46there is a holding period less than 12
43:48months
43:49Okay. So by default it will system will
43:51actually check that out of let's say 50
43:54assets you have in your portfolio or in
43:56your group out of that let's say five
43:58assets are having less than 12 months
44:01holding automatically it will calculate
44:03the absolute gain for that not XR
44:06otherwise XR will be slightly inflated.
44:08So this is one customization option we
44:10have added. Similarly there are options
44:13available to have custom assets. For
44:16example, this report you just want to
44:18say it for market linked asset, not for
44:20everything else. Maybe you have FDS, you
44:22have uh insuranceances, you have some
44:24other asset classes. You don't want to
44:26include that in this report. You can
44:28actually select a custom list as well
44:30from here where you can just select
44:32market linked asset maybe stocks, mutual
44:34fund, SIS, uh AIS, PMS, that's it. You
44:37can actually select specific uh custom
44:40uh asset classes as well. Similarly, we
44:42have a option to have custom categories
44:46as well. So, if I scroll down, this will
44:47give me the list of custom categories.
44:49All the categories you have created,
44:51whether it's a default category or a
44:52custom category, you can select specific
44:55categories and then generate the report.
44:57So, this report can be generated for
44:59specific asset classes as well as
45:01specific categories as well. Okay. And
45:04then there are other options available.
45:05If you don't want to see the every
45:07single asset class under the uh head,
45:10you can simply hide the assets and it
45:12will just give you the information as
45:14per category and subcategory. Similarly,
45:16if you don't want to see the exited
45:18assets, the assets which are fully sold,
45:20if you want to simply exclude that, you
45:22can click on no. Else if you want to
45:24look at the overall returns including
45:26everything, including the sold assets as
45:28well, you can select this show exited
45:30option. And one more option we have
45:32added which is a amount invested uh
45:35column which is again a very specific uh
45:37uh uh uh feature we have with the column
45:39we have added based on the feedback we
45:41have received. This amount invested
45:43column is as per the FIFO method. So
45:45these are various customization options
45:47available. What I'll do I'll quickly
45:48show you one Excel report. I have shown
45:50you this PDF report. This is how the PDF
45:53report looks like where you see the
45:55overall family level return, category,
45:57category level return, subcategory level
45:59return and then asset class asset level
46:01return as well along with the benchmark
46:03comparison. But this PDF uh output the
46:07PDF view will or the inapp view has
46:09slightly less columns available. If you
46:12export this report in Excel format,
46:14there are multiple columns available. So
46:16just to show it to you, this is how the
46:18Excel output looks like where you will
46:21see more details. So category,
46:23subcategory, asset classes, asset names,
46:26holding percentage, XR, benchmark, XR,
46:29the benchmark name as well whether you
46:31have selected a individual index or a
46:34blended benchmark. So the name will be
46:36displayed here and along with this there
46:38are multiple additional columns you will
46:40see in Excel like closing valuation,
46:42closing quantity, average purchase
46:44price, total investment, total
46:46withdrawal, total gain which is your
46:48absolute gain in value as well as in
46:50percentage and the breakup of this total
46:52gain as realized gain, unrealized gain
46:55and total income. Now all this
46:57information, all these details are
46:58available on multiple levels in a single
47:01report. So you can see family level
47:03insights overall category level equity
47:07category, debt category, retirement
47:08category for example also subcategory
47:11level like PMS is a subcategory here and
47:13then again individual asset class level
47:16information as well. Now this report
47:18again as I mentioned grouping can be
47:20done differently. This is basically a
47:24category level or I would say asset wise
47:27grouping. But if you do a portfolio or a
47:29entity level grouping, this is how the
47:31report will look like where inside a
47:33family for example meta family, you can
47:36see all the different entities together.
47:38So first there'll be let's say NRJ Ma is
47:40one entity. So his overall returns
47:42benchmark comparison. Below that you
47:44will see all his investments, equity,
47:46debt. Below that you will see
47:48subcategory and individual assets. Then
47:50there'll be a second entity let's say
47:52Ajamea all his investments. Similarly if
47:55I scroll down there'll be another entity
47:57third entity as well like that. So this
48:00single report you will get lot of
48:03different details. You don't need to
48:05generate two three four different
48:06reports. You will get to know the
48:08holding percentages, XR, benchmark
48:11comparison, the total investments, total
48:13withdrawals, total gain you are making
48:16and the breakup of that as well as a
48:17realized or unrealized capital gain, an
48:20unrealized gain and then the total
48:22income. Total income will basically
48:23consider your uh uh uh dividend income,
48:27interest income, rent income, any kind
48:29of income will be part of the total
48:30income. So this is a very comprehensive
48:33report we are providing and with
48:35different customization options we have
48:37provided as I showed you. You can of
48:39course generate almost 10 to 15
48:41different variants of the reports and
48:43this will really help you if you have
48:45any specific uh uh uh uh view in mind.
48:48You can actually check different
48:50customization options and get the exact
48:52report required. Of course, sample
48:54report we have we have provided. It's a
48:56basic report with basic understanding
48:58but with customization you can create
49:00different views the way you exactly
49:02want.
49:05>> Thanks. So just to again recap uh Dan
49:09has covered a lot of detail on the on
49:11the advanced performance review and
49:13showcased all the different
49:14customization options. Uh as you can see
49:17you know we have truly uh tried to make
49:20this report as customizable as possible
49:22in various different regards uh so that
49:24you can generate it in the exact way
49:26that you want to by excluding or
49:28including whichever asset classes
49:29categories subcategories that you want
49:32uh what time period you want to view it
49:33for whether or not you want to uh you
49:35know view exited assets or not and so on
49:37and so forth. Uh if you ever need any
49:40help generating this report uh you know
49:43if you're using the MP profit prime plan
49:44or evaluating it and you want some help
49:46understanding this report in more detail
49:48please feel free to email us at
49:50supportprofit.in and we'll be happy to
49:52you know give you a more individual
49:53perspective uh regards to with regards
49:56to your own specific requirement. Uh so
49:59you know that is something which we
50:00would be happy to do. uh but essentially
50:02this report really gives you if you are
50:04someone who wants to review the
50:05performance on a monthly basis the
50:07entire nprofit family's uh investment
50:10performance on a monthly basis or a
50:12quarterly basis uh or you know however
50:14frequently you want to and you want one
50:16single report uh to evaluate performance
50:19across different investments bifurcated
50:22across different categories uh this is
50:24the one report which we highly recommend
50:26you using. We already have a lot of
50:27clients who are you know heavily using
50:29this report liking it a lot uh you know
50:31and and truly using the customization
50:33options uh to their maximum potential to
50:36slice and dice data uh as per their
50:39requirements. So you know please feel
50:40free to reach out to us if you have you
50:42know any specific queries about this
50:44about this report. We would be happy to
50:46answer your questions. Um so that covers
50:49the advanced performance snapshot and
50:51the advanced performance review and uh
50:53right after that you we will move on
50:55straight to the multi-period returns
50:57report. Also we have enabled the Q&A
50:58now. So if you have questions please you
51:01know feel free to ask and our colleagues
51:02will definitely be uh happy to answer
51:04your questions live while we are we are
51:07talking through the multioder returns
51:09report. But you know we would definitely
51:10urge you to just uh uh understand in
51:13detail how these new reports also work
51:15because the multi-eriod returns report
51:17is a very powerful new report we've
51:19added that gives you multi-eriod
51:22visibility of performance across
51:24different investments in a single in a
51:27single one single view. So if you are
51:29let's say someone who has 10 or 15
51:31different portfolios in M profit, some
51:32of them are PMSs, some of them are you
51:34know direct portfolios, some of them are
51:36advisory strategies and you want to see
51:38how all of these different portfolios
51:40and PMS's and strategies have performed
51:43over different time periods and against
51:45the benchmark index. So you can compare
51:48them against each other as well as
51:49compare them against benchmark indices.
51:51This is the go-to report which you can
51:53rely on the multi-period returns report.
51:56uh span has already shared it on the
51:58screen. Um please feel free to you know
52:00explain it.
52:01>> Yeah.
52:02>> So I quickly cover the multiod uh
52:04returns uh customizations again. So I
52:06was explaining about the different time
52:08periods option we have. Um as you see on
52:11the screen you can customize this report
52:13for different time periods. The time
52:15periods are not fixed. You can select
52:18monthwise split, quarter wise split,
52:20financial year wise, calendar year wise
52:22split and then custom period as well. If
52:24you select custom period option, you
52:25will get the entire list and from here
52:28you can select individual options
52:30whichever period returns you want to
52:32have. Similarly,
52:34um if you select monthly split, we are
52:37also giving option if you want to look
52:38at previous 3 months, 6 months, 12
52:40months, financial year or calendar year.
52:43Okay. After selecting this, you will
52:45also get a option if you want to include
52:47the current month or not. And similar to
52:50advanced performance review option, we
52:51also have a option to select whether if
52:53you want to see absolute gain for less
52:55than 12 months holding or if you want to
52:57see XR for the scene. And similarly
52:59there is a option to select a specific
53:02portfolio or a specific group as well.
53:04So you can select only groups, only
53:06entities only portfolios or completely
53:08custom list. So out of uh 20 portfolios
53:11you are maintaining if you just want to
53:12select only five portfolios you can
53:14individually select five different
53:16portfolios and then generate the report.
53:18Similarly there is a option to select
53:21custom asset classes as well. Instead of
53:23getting entire portfolio level return
53:25with all the asset classes. Let's say
53:27you want to just consider stocks as a
53:29asset class and a select individual
53:31portfolio. You can actually select
53:33stocks and then generate the report. So
53:34in that case all the portfolio returns
53:37will be shown but it will just consider
53:39the stocks as a asset class. It will
53:42automatically exclude all other asset
53:43classes. So these are the various option
53:46customization options available uh for
53:49the multi-eriod returns report.
53:55>> Thanks.
53:57>> Yeah. So again on the multi-period
54:00returns report just to summarize it is a
54:02oneshot snapshot for you to be able to
54:05see returns for different portfolios,
54:07different strategies, different
54:08investments across different time
54:10periods. And once again we have provided
54:12a lot of different customization options
54:13here. So you can select the time periods
54:15of your choice. You can select which
54:16portfolios you want to include uh for
54:19comparison purposes. And you can also
54:21set the benchmarks under the benchmark
54:23settings to to actually see which
54:25portfolios are compared against their
54:27own relevant benchmarks. Um so that
54:30covers the multi returns report which is
54:33a basic performance snapshot of
54:35different portfolios across different
54:37time periods. Now we also have a
54:39detailed version of this multi returns
54:41report which actually goes into a lot of
54:44more detail about different performance
54:45metrics such as total inflow, total
54:47outflow, opening valuation, closing
54:48valuation. uh ac across all of these
54:51different time periods. So think of it
54:52as uh the multi-year returns report that
54:55we just covered but with a lot more
54:58detail. Uh and then I will just show you
55:00how to use this report in the best
55:02possible way and how to maybe you know
55:04also get to see certain month-on-month
55:07uh valuation uh updates via using this
55:11multi detail report. Yeah.
55:14>> Right. So this is how the report looks
55:16like where previous report was just
55:18returns and benchmark comparison but in
55:21this report for every single line item
55:23whether it's a portfolio group or entity
55:25you get other details as well opening
55:27valuation closing valuation total inflow
55:30total outflow uh and of course the
55:32returns and benchmark comparison. Now
55:34this report also you can customize it
55:36for different time periods. uh overall
55:39options are similar which I showed you
55:41for um
55:43a multi-period return report but if I
55:45generate this specific report you will
55:47get a similar kind of option so periods
55:49you can have month-wise split again
55:51quarter-wise financial year wise
55:53calendar year- wise so if let's say if
55:54you want to see month-on-month valuation
55:57change okay you can actually generate
55:59this multi-eriod return detailed report
56:02select time period as monthwise split
56:04okay and you can decide how you want to
56:07see it whe if you just want to look at
56:08last 3 months, previous 3 months,
56:10previous 6 months, previous 12 months,
56:13you can of course select specific option
56:14and then generate this report. I've
56:16already generated this report. So just
56:18to show it to you, this is how the
56:19report will look like.
56:22Okay, this is financial year- wise. But
56:23similarly, uh monthwise split can be
56:26seen. So this is showing all to date 6
56:28months, 1 year, 2 year, 3 year, 5 years
56:31for Ajameata's entity. But you can see
56:33opening valuation, closing valuation, to
56:36total inflow, outflow, total gain in
56:39value and the returns as well. Portfolio
56:41return and benchmark return. And the
56:43last column basically shows whether it's
56:44a XR or the absolute gain.
56:47So this report again can be looked at to
56:50look at month-on-month valuation change
56:52and for that you have to simply select
56:55monthwise split option. And if you want
56:57to look at entire uh uh previous
56:59financial year data, so you can select
57:01previous 12 months as a option. And this
57:03will give you month-on-month valuation
57:06change details. Again, if you want to
57:08look at only individual portfolio here,
57:10you can go to this returns portfolio
57:13customization option and select
57:15individual entity or even individual
57:17portfolio. For example, I can select
57:19only Ajameata's direct portfolio here.
57:21So this will give me details for
57:23Ajamata's direct portfolio and
57:25month-on-month change. How the portfolio
57:27valuation and how the returns are on
57:29month-month basis?
57:35>> Yeah. You want to add anything here?
57:37>> No. I do you want to show that one
57:39report where we actually can see the
57:40month-on-month uh uh changes for a
57:44single portfolio?
57:45>> Uh I'll have to generate. Let me just
57:46generate one. Uh I can select one and I
57:48can quickly show it to you.
57:49>> Sure. So basically what Tanve is going
57:51to do is he's going to show you one
57:52report where if you want to see
57:54month-on-month changes in uh a
57:57portfolio's performance over time uh you
58:00know with all the different metrics such
58:01as total inflow, total outflow, the the
58:04XIR or the absolute gain uh compared
58:07against the benchmark index and you want
58:08to see it on a monthwise split or a
58:10quarter-wise split basis uh for a single
58:13portfolio, you can definitely do that.
58:14So you can actually get to see the cash
58:16flow movement of a portfolio over time
58:18and if that's actually the kind of
58:20report you are interested in looking at
58:21then this multiated detailed report is a
58:23very useful report you can use. Uh maybe
58:26we can explain the customization options
58:27that someone can select also here
58:29>> while the report is being generated.
58:31>> Yeah. So as I mentioned you can select
58:34the current group which is uh which will
58:36include everything under uh the group
58:38you you have selected whatever entities
58:40whatever portfolios you have linked to
58:42that group will be covered overall. If
58:44you select overall family, you will get
58:45a option. Let me just refresh the page
58:47once so that the the customization
58:50options I can show it better.
58:52>> Yeah.
59:01>> Yeah. So there's a option group by
59:03portfolios and group by periods. If you
59:05select group by periods option, okay,
59:08the view will slightly change.
59:10Similarly, there is a label. You can
59:12select current group and that will
59:14include all the portfolios under that
59:16group. But if you select overall family,
59:19you will get a option to select a
59:20specific portfolio or a specific group.
59:23Meaning that I can select only groups,
59:25only entities, only portfolios under
59:27family or a custom list. In custom list,
59:30we are giving option to select specific
59:32portfolios or specific groups
59:33selectively. I can just select Ajame Ma,
59:35Bina Mata, Nirj Ma only three entities
59:38here or I can select only specific PMS
59:40portfolios and generate this report on
59:43the period side. If I if you select time
59:45period default by default we show all to
59:47date uh 6 months, 1 year, 2 year, 3
59:50years and 5 years view. But there are
59:52multiple options available as I
59:54mentioned month wise split, quarter wise
59:56split, financial year wise split,
59:58calendar year- wise split and custom. If
1:00:00you select month-wise, we are again
1:00:02giving option to select previous 3
1:00:04months, 6 months, 12 months, financial
1:00:06year, calendar year. Similarly, if you
1:00:08select quarter- wise, we are again
1:00:09giving per previous four quarters or
1:00:12entire financial year, calendar year.
1:00:14Again, financial year wise, if you want
1:00:16to get only two years, 3 years, four
1:00:18years, 5 years, there are multiple
1:00:20options available. Same goes for
1:00:21calendar year- wise also. And custom
1:00:23will basically display all different uh
1:00:26periods on the screen. From here you can
1:00:28actually select specific option maybe
1:00:31one month absolute gain one let's say
1:00:33one year or financial year wise you can
1:00:36choose specific periods and then
1:00:38generate the report. Similarly there is
1:00:40another option available to include or
1:00:43exclude certain asset classes. By
1:00:44default if you want to have all asset
1:00:46classes included you don't need to uh do
1:00:48the customization. But let's say you
1:00:50want to just consider market linked
1:00:52asset maybe stocks, mutual fund, SIFS,
1:00:54AF, PMS. You can actually select a
1:00:56custom list from here and select a
1:00:59specific asset classes only. Okay. So
1:01:01there are multiple different options
1:01:02available to customize the periods or to
1:01:05customize the uh asset classes as well.
1:01:08Let me just check if this report is
1:01:10generated. So I'll simply go to report
1:01:12log and okay the report is generated. So
1:01:16multi-period report you can see it from
1:01:17the completed log. If I click on view
1:01:19report, this will show me the report. So
1:01:22this is how the monthwise split report
1:01:25looks like. This will really help you
1:01:27understand the valuation or the overall
1:01:31returns on a month-on-month basis. So
1:01:33you see the period- wise grouping we
1:01:35have selected. So it is showing Jan 25,
1:01:37Feb 25, March 25 like this till December
1:01:41overall and it is giving you the details
1:01:43for single portfolio. I have selected
1:01:45only one portfolio as a method direct.
1:01:47So it is just showing me information for
1:01:48one portfolio. But if needed you can
1:01:51have you can generate this report for
1:01:53entire group also that is multiple
1:01:55portfolios available under single
1:01:57family. Then opening valuation, closing
1:01:59valuation, total inflow, total outflow,
1:02:02total gain, portfolio returns, benchmark
1:02:05returns and the return type whether it's
1:02:06absolute gain or XR. So this is how the
1:02:10report looks like and again as we
1:02:11mentioned all these reports are
1:02:12downloadable in PDF and Excel format and
1:02:15Excel format you will get a additional
1:02:17column some extra columns are provided
1:02:19in the Excel report.
1:02:24>> Great thanks so I think we have
1:02:27obviously this has been a fairly
1:02:29technical session because of all the
1:02:30different nuance features that we've
1:02:32added and the detailed reports that Tani
1:02:35has covered. uh if you have any
1:02:37questions and you would like to explore
1:02:38MP profit prime in more detail if you're
1:02:40finding value in it then we would be
1:02:42happy to you know have a demo for you if
1:02:45you're interested in exploring it and if
1:02:46you're already an existing M profit
1:02:48prime customer then by all means you can
1:02:50reach out to your RM or you can reach
1:02:52out to uh you know support.in and we
1:02:55would be happy to see how we can ensure
1:02:57that you are making the maximum use of
1:02:59the features that we've just covered uh
1:03:01or any other features in general. So you
1:03:04know please feel free to reach out to us
1:03:06uh if you have any questions on pricing
1:03:08for mprofit prime uh you know you can
1:03:11please reach out to us at
1:03:12connectrofit.in co n ecprofit.in
1:03:16uh you know our sales team will be happy
1:03:18to get in touch uh to see you know what
1:03:21your requirements are and whether or not
1:03:22end profit prime is valuable to you is
1:03:24is it useful or not. Uh before we close
1:03:27out the session today t just one last
1:03:29feature we can talk about which is batch
1:03:31reporting. Uh you know that is one
1:03:33feature which is also available in
1:03:35profit prime outside of the prime
1:03:36reports. Uh this is a feature which many
1:03:39people have requested you know
1:03:40especially around generation of capital
1:03:42gain reports where you know you want
1:03:44multiple capital gain reports across
1:03:46different portfolios generated at once.
1:03:48So we have added this feature it's
1:03:49called batch reporting. What it simply
1:03:51does is that if you have multiple
1:03:53portfolios and let's say you're in tax
1:03:54filing season you want to generate
1:03:56multiple capital gain reports together
1:03:58at one time. It's not going to be in a
1:04:00single report but if you want multiple
1:04:01reports to be generated at the same time
1:04:03so that you don't need to go into each
1:04:04portfolio and generate the capital gain
1:04:06ITR format report for example then you
1:04:08can simply use uh the batch reporting
1:04:10feature as Tai has shown you uh on the
1:04:13current screen he is currently in the
1:04:15batch report section. So Tai maybe you
1:04:16can just show how to go into batch
1:04:17reports first. Sorry I was
1:04:19>> yeah so batch reports are available on
1:04:21entity or a group level. So you can
1:04:23select any entity or you can select a
1:04:25family group and then simply click on
1:04:28report section. you'll find a new option
1:04:30here called batch. So if you click on
1:04:31batch option, this will give the give
1:04:34the list of all the reports again. Now
1:04:35let's say if you want to generate a
1:04:37capital gain report for all the
1:04:39portfolios you have in one family. So
1:04:41you can simply go to capital gains maybe
1:04:43you can select capital gains ITR format
1:04:46and just select the stocks option. If
1:04:48you generate this report, this report
1:04:50will be technically generated for all
1:04:51the portfolios and a single zip link
1:04:56will be provided. So if you click on
1:04:57this option it will download a zip file
1:05:00and inside zip file you will find
1:05:02separate reports generated for every
1:05:04single portfolio in Excel as well as PDF
1:05:06format. So it's basically a bulk report
1:05:09generation. You will not get a
1:05:10consolidated report. This will be
1:05:12separate reports only but you'll be
1:05:14easily uh you can easily download it on
1:05:16a bulk level.
1:05:19>> Yeah. And this feature is extremely
1:05:21useful for family offices or wealth
1:05:24managers you know who have to generate a
1:05:25single report multiple times across
1:05:27different portfolios within a single np
1:05:29profofit family uh for any specific
1:05:32client or family office. Uh so we highly
1:05:35recommend that you use it if you are uh
1:05:37having access to this feature. It's
1:05:38called batch reports and it allows you
1:05:40to generate the same report in bulk uh
1:05:42you know in a single go. Um so you know
1:05:45we would be happy to again show you how
1:05:47to use this feature if you need a little
1:05:50more clarity. Uh and that brings us to
1:05:52the end of you know the end profit prime
1:05:54features. So as you can see we've added
1:05:56multiple different types of features but
1:05:58collectively they all work together to
1:06:00give you a meaningful uh meaningfully
1:06:03better reporting across your profit data
1:06:06at a consolidated level as well as at an
1:06:09individual asset or category or
1:06:11subcategory level. uh so that you can
1:06:13actually make better sense of all your
1:06:15investment data because you know let's
1:06:17face it there is a lot of data that
1:06:18you've imported into M profit across
1:06:19different asset classes across different
1:06:21entities across different portfolios uh
1:06:23but essentially what you really need is
1:06:26a way to synthesize all that information
1:06:28in a clean and crisp way uh and as per
1:06:31your own requirements with your own
1:06:33categorization of asset asset classes
1:06:35with your own benchmarks as per your own
1:06:37you know risk understanding and risk
1:06:39allocation uh And that's essentially
1:06:42what MP profit prime gives you. So you
1:06:44know if you have any further questions
1:06:46we'd be happy to you know uh stay and
1:06:48and answer them. But I think most of the
1:06:50questions have been already been
1:06:52answered. Uh we really uh you know want
1:06:55to thank everybody for being here today.
1:06:57Uh we hope this was a useful session and
1:07:00uh hoping to see you on a subsequent
1:07:02session. We are adding a lot more
1:07:04features over time. One big feature we
1:07:06are adding which we'd be happy to
1:07:08announce is a a new simplified way for
1:07:11tagging advisors in n profit uh you know
1:07:15to various different assets or
1:07:16portfolios uh that will easily make you
1:07:20make it very easy for you to see advisor
1:07:22level insight. So this is essentially
1:07:24useful for investors and family offices
1:07:27uh where you know you will be able to
1:07:29now then see advisor wise breakdowns of
1:07:31your investments in a very easy way. Uh
1:07:34so please stay tuned for this feature.
1:07:35It's coming hopefully in the next couple
1:07:37of uh in the next couple of months if
1:07:40not sooner and we will definitely keep
1:07:42you posted. U yeah and thank you so
1:07:46much. I I do see one feedback from
1:07:49Banduraji that the batch report feature
1:07:51is awesome. We we really thank you for
1:07:53the feedback and yeah hope that you know
1:07:55more of you can use the feature and uh
1:07:58make the most of profit prime and the
1:08:00new updates that we'll be adding in the
1:08:01coming months in general. Uh and yeah, I
1:08:05think that's about it. Uh yeah, thank
1:08:08you so much everybody. We really
1:08:09appreciate your time here and we look
1:08:11forward to seeing you on the next
1:08:12webinar uh in the coming weeks and
1:08:15months. Thank you.
