0:02Okay, I guess let's get started. Uh, so
0:05let me introduce myself. My name is
0:06Tanmay Ki. I'm heading the customer
0:09success team at M Profit and I have
0:11Radha Meta who is a product manager at M
0:13Profit. Hello everybody.
0:16Um, so u first of all thank you everyone
0:20for taking the time to join the webinar.
0:23Um, good afternoon to everyone. So
0:26today's webinar is basically we are
0:28focusing on performance analytics and
0:30reporting. Uh we are going to deep dive
0:32into XR benchmark comparison and latest
0:36features which M profit has introduced
0:38in last um couple of months I would
0:42say. So agenda for today's webinar is
0:45basically as I mentioned deep dive into
0:48performance tracking across different
0:50asset classes portfolios. We are going
0:53to cover which performance insights you
0:55get on a portfolio that is investment
0:57portfolio, PMS portfolio, asset class
1:00level as well as the family group level.
1:02Then comparative performance against
1:04equity and debt benchmarks. How you can
1:07get the comparative performances for
1:10different categories such as equities
1:11and debt. Similarly, we'll introduce the
1:14new blended benchmark feature we have
1:17introduced
1:19recently. And then lastly we will talk
1:22about the uh latest product enhancements
1:25as well. So last couple of months
1:27whichever features we have introduced
1:29we'll talk about it as
1:32well. So let's go into the M profit
1:36screen. So firstly I I would like to
1:38talk about the two reports we have
1:41introduced which is uh profit and loss
1:44summary and the detailed report. U I'll
1:47go to the individual portfolio report
1:49section and under performance section
1:51you can see profit and loss summary and
1:54detailed report. Obviously we do have
1:57equity capital gain reporting mutual
1:59fund capital gain reporting available.
2:01But now these two reports are mainly uh
2:03for assets which are quantity based. So
2:06including equity mutual funds. Now you
2:09can generate profit and loss summary and
2:11detailed report
2:13for some other asset classes as well. As
2:16you can see, private equity, traded
2:17bonds, LCDs as well. Just to show you
2:20the
2:22samples. This is how the sample summary
2:24report looks like. So, you can get
2:27private equity, traded bonds, NCD
2:29ventures, profit and loss as well. And
2:30this is how the detailed report looks
2:36like. Okay. So, this is a quick um thing
2:39about the two new reports we launched on
2:41the classic view reports. Now let's go
2:45into the analytics module. The main
2:48purpose of this webinar is basically to
2:50understand the performance insights we
2:52provide.
2:56So Rha my screen is visible right? Yes
3:00sir. Yeah sure. So let's talk about the
3:04performance insights we provide. Uh
3:06first of all let me add that the entire
3:09performance module the performance tab.
3:12Just one second before we go, can we go
3:14to the summary screen and show the XR on
3:17the current value over over the current?
3:19Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. So
3:20before I move to the performance
3:22analytics tab, let me quickly show you
3:25the option where you can see the XR from
3:28the classic view also. Most of the
3:30members might be already aware that we
3:32have this feature. just to uh show it to
3:34you. If you want to get the XR for any
3:37particular asset, we can simply put
3:40cursor on the current value. So for
3:42example, if I want to see the XR for
3:44HDFC band stock, I can put cursor on the
3:47current value and you can see the XR for
3:50that particular stock. Same you can do
3:52for any particular asset. Suppose it's a
3:54mutual fund, you can similarly put
3:56cursor on the current value to see the
3:58XR immediately. This is something if you
4:01want to quickly see the returns without
4:03going into report or different
4:05screens. Same if you want to see it for
4:07entire portfolio also we have a option
4:09available to see the portfolio XR
4:11without zero holdings and with zero
4:13holdings as
4:18well. That is for inactive and active
4:21assets XR. So these are the quick
4:23options to see the XR your performance
4:27uh or that is XR returns on a asset
4:29class or on an entire portfolio level as
4:31well and we have a detailed report as
4:34well which which is the annualized XR
4:36report in the class. Correct. And if you
4:39want to get the overall detailed uh
4:41asset class wise report that is
4:43available under report section
4:45performance and the annualized return XR
4:47report. This is how the XR sample report
4:49looks like. You get three levels of
4:51report XR details here. One is asset
4:55class level that is for all stocks, all
4:57mutual funds or all AIS. Second level is
5:00individual asset that is a particular
5:03stock or a particular mutual fund
5:04scheme. And third is basically total
5:07portfolio XR at the bottom of the
5:09screen. So grand total row you can see
5:11that is a portfolio level XR.
5:18So I'm assuming that most of the uh
5:20members of join the session must be
5:22already aware about this XR uh matrix we
5:26provide on asset level portfolio level
5:28the report we have but today we'll talk
5:31about the performance insights the
5:34detailed view analytics module we have
5:37um we'll go into much detail we'll deep
5:40dive into it and
5:44um so let's Get started with a
5:46performance tab. Overall, the
5:48performance insights are available on
5:50multiple different levels. It's
5:52available on a group level also,
5:54individual portfolio level also.
5:56Individual portfolio can have investment
5:58portfolio also PMS portfolio. The third
6:02level is basically asset class level
6:04that is you can see the performance
6:06insights for a specific asset class as
6:08well such as stocks and ETFs, mutual
6:10funds and so
6:11on. Fourth level is a category level.
6:13You can also get the performance
6:15insights on a category level such as
6:17equity category, debt category and so
6:20on. Fifth level is basically a
6:23individual asset level that is a
6:25particular stock or a particular mutual
6:27fund scheme. So let's talk about the
6:30detailed performance insights on a
6:32portfolio level. In this case, I have
6:34selected Ajay Mata's portfolio. We are
6:37into dashboard and I've selected a
6:39performance tab.
6:45So performance snapshot you can see on
6:47the screen that it shows 20.79% returns
6:50you're making on all the investments you
6:53have under Ajameata's portfolio. This is
6:55annualized rate of return XR from all to
6:59date since inception to date. On the
7:01right of that you see certain details
7:04such as first transaction date, the
7:07current valuation of the portfolio,
7:09similarly total investment, total
7:12withdrawal, total gain and then the
7:14breakup of that total gain which is
7:16realized profit and loss, unrealized
7:18profit and loss and total income. Now
7:21this section will help you to understand
7:23the overall XR return you are making on
7:27all the portfolio investments.
7:31By default whenever you generate this
7:33view it is all to date but we have also
7:36provided a option to get the periodic
7:40returns. Now let's say if your
7:42portfolio is going on since last couple
7:45of years your investments are there uh
7:48in a historical period as well and you
7:50want to understand the periodic returns
7:52you're making on your portfolio. To do
7:54that on the top right hand side we have
7:56given option to select a period. You can
7:59select this all to date option and
8:01similarly you can basically select a
8:05specific period as well. We have
8:07different options available which is all
8:09to custom date that is year to date,
8:12financial year wise, calendar year wise,
8:15month and trailing year wise as well as
8:17for any custom period. So if you want to
8:20generate your portfolio returns let's
8:22say for one and a half year, you can
8:24choose the custom period and generate
8:26the similar reports.
8:30Now if you want to understand how your
8:32portfolio returns are compared to
8:35different market indexes, we provide two
8:38different insights for the same. One is
8:40your portfolio returns versus index AGR
8:43and secondly your XR that is your
8:47portfolio XR versus index XR. The first
8:50section which is your portfolio XR
8:53versus index CGR. This helps you
8:56understand the trend
8:58overall. In this section, as you can
9:01see, you can compare your portfolio
9:03return with different market indexes,
9:05CAGR. So on the screen, you can see that
9:08your portfolio returns is is showing
9:10basically
9:1220.8%. And for other indexes also you
9:16can see the return that is a CAGR
9:17return. By default, you can compare your
9:20portfolio returns with five different
9:22market indexes.
9:24But we have given option to change the
9:26indexes as well. Currently we support
9:28almost 80 plus market indexes. So
9:31depending on your choice you can select
9:33different market index and then get the
9:36comparison.
9:41Similarly, we have XR to XR comparison
9:44which is like a more complex calculation
9:47I would say because in this case let's
9:49say if your portfolio is consisting of
9:5110,000
9:52transactions system will replicate those
9:5410,000 transactions into a particular
9:57index and then index XR will be
9:59calculated. So this XR to XR comparison
10:03will give you a very accurate appleto
10:06comparison.
10:07uh and as you can see it has uh in this
10:10section also you can select multiple
10:12different indexes if required. Currently
10:15this portfolio's XR is compared with TRI
10:18NIFTY50
10:21XR as I mentioned you can click on
10:24change benchmark and also select a
10:25specific uh index to get the
10:30comparison rather you'd like to add
10:32about blended benchmark. Yes. Yes. Sure.
10:35So, we recently added the new feature
10:37which is called as the blended benchmark
10:40wherein uh from the existing list of NSE
10:44indexes and the two new indexes that
10:46we've launched in the debt space, you
10:49can create our own blends. So, if you
10:51see our index list, we've added a couple
10:53of TRI and non-TRI equity indexes and
10:56two debt indexes which are the Crystal
10:58composite bond bond index and the
11:00Crystal liquid debt index. So we have
11:04also given an option which is called as
11:05the blended benchmark wherein you can
11:07custom create your own blends. For
11:09example, if you have a portfolio which
11:12is a mix of equity and debt, you can
11:14give weightage to each index separately.
11:18So for example, in the first scenario
11:19that you can see here, there are three
11:22equity indexes which are the TRR nifty
11:24midcap 150, TRI nifty small cap 250 and
11:28the TR nifty50. So we have given 201
11:311070 as an example. You can add any
11:34weightage you want to any NSC index and
11:38any crystal index as well and create
11:40your own custom blends depending on the
11:43kind of portfolio you are tracking. For
11:45example, if it is an equity and debt mix
11:47index, you can give say 60% to a equity
11:50index and 40% to a debt index. Or if it
11:54is a mix of different market caps along
11:56with some debt, you can custom
11:58create your blend by giving weightage to
12:01a small cap, a little bit to midcap,
12:03large cap and also a liquid debt index
12:05or a composite bond index of your
12:07choice. In this blended benchmark
12:10feature, you have the option of creating
12:12multiple blends and in one single blend,
12:14you can add up to five indexes. So
12:17depending on the kind of portfolio you
12:19have, if it's a pure equity portfolio
12:21which is a mix of different market cap
12:23strategies, you can create a different
12:26market cap blend. If it is a mix of
12:28equity and debt, you can create an
12:30equity and debt mix. Or if it is a
12:32combination of all three, you can do
12:34that. For example, in certain kind of
12:36AIF schemes, you would see that some
12:39component is equity, some is debt. It
12:41may not be a purely equity AIF or a pure
12:43debt AF. In that case you can custom
12:48create your own blends so that you can
12:51do a proper AIF benchmark
12:54to blended AIF performance to a blended
12:57benchmark performance. Right? So this
13:00blended feature is available at all
13:02portfolio levels. It is available at a
13:04specific group level. It is also
13:06available at an asset class level and a
13:08category level as well. So in whichever
13:10level you want to see your portfolio
13:13performance or an asset class
13:14performance or a category or a group
13:16level performance and you want it to be
13:18compared to not a standalone index but
13:21you want to create your own blends we
13:23have the option now
13:25available and just a disclaimer that the
13:28blended benchmark feature is available
13:29in our family office plans
13:32only. Okay. Yes ma'am we can. Yeah.
13:35Thanks Rad. So this is a new feature we
13:38have recently introduced and Rada uh as
13:41mentioned by Radha this blended
13:43benchmark feature is available in our
13:45family office
13:47plans. So you can create multiple blends
13:50uh as Radha also mentioned and you can
13:52compare you can use the blend to compare
13:55it with different uh asset classes
13:58portfolios categories as well.
14:03Let's go to the next section which is
14:05performance by category. Now as I
14:07mentioned uh at the start of the session
14:09that you can get the comparison you can
14:12get the performance by category level.
14:15So for one portfolio as you can see
14:17there is a section called performance by
14:19category where you can see how each
14:21category is performing providing the
14:23returns. So in this
14:25case real estate you can see 30.94%
14:29equity category it's
14:3124.12% return you can see the XR return
14:33in the last column and along with that
14:35you get other details as as well such as
14:37total investment total withdrawal total
14:40income which covers various kinds of
14:42income such as rent income dividend
14:44income interest income and so on closing
14:46valuation of that particular category
14:49total gain you're making realized gain
14:51unrealized gain and the XR
14:54Similarly, if you want to get the
14:56performance by asset
14:59class, it's available as well. So, we
15:02can if you want to see what is the total
15:04return you're making on only stocks and
15:06ETFs or all mutual funds, this is a
15:08section you can look into. So, mutual
15:10funds you can see that it has made 7.38%
15:13overall returns. We are looking at one
15:16portfolio and performance by asset
15:18class. So, these are MP profit asset
15:19classes like stocks and equity ETFs. uh
15:22mutual funds, fixed deposits, AFS, NCD,
15:25studed bonds and so
15:27on. Similarly, we have a advanced
15:30performance insights. Now, let's say you
15:32have a portfolio uh which is which has
15:34investment since last couple of years,
15:36four to five years or maybe more and you
15:38want to understand the overall
15:41performance mainly a historical
15:43performance that is how a portfolio has
15:45performed over the period.
15:49This section will help you to understand
15:51that how you're making how your
15:53portfolio is making all returns one year
15:55return two years return 3 years and 5
15:58years and you can compare a portfolio
16:01return with any of the market index as
16:03well. We have two views available
16:06historical year- wise and also financial
16:08year- wise
16:14view. Okay. So this is about a portfolio
16:17level. I have covered multiple different
16:19streams also as I mentioned you can get
16:23the similar insights on not only on a
16:25portfolio level but also on a asset
16:27class level. Now let's say you want to
16:29understand the performance a similar
16:31kind of insights for a particular asset
16:33class. You can go to the asset class
16:35section from the left panel and select
16:37stocks and ETFs. This section will then
16:40show you overall performance of a
16:43specific asset class that is stocks and
16:44ETFs. And then you will similarly get
16:47all the different insights such as
16:50benchmark comparison, your equity XR
16:53versus index EGR, your XR to XR
16:56comparison, then performance by asset
16:58class as well. If you want to see how
17:01each stock is performing providing the
17:03returns, it will help you understand uh
17:06that as well by looking at the
17:07performance by asset class
17:10section. Similarly, advanced performance
17:13inside if you want to understand how the
17:15stocks and ATF asset class have
17:17performed over the period, you can
17:19generate that as
17:21well. Similarly, for any other asset
17:24classes such as stocks and ETF or mutual
17:26funds, you can get the insights. Even
17:29for AI also if you want to get the
17:35insights. Now on the third level
17:37basically if you want to get to know a
17:40scheme level insights we talked about
17:42the portfolio level performance insights
17:44asset class level that is stocks mutual
17:46funds EIF you can do that. We also have
17:49a option where you can select a specific
17:51scheme can be a mutual fund scheme
17:54stocks or a scheme and get the scheme
17:56level insights as well. So for example
17:59in this case as you can see I have
18:00selected a specific AIF scheme bearing
18:03private equity India AIF scheme and you
18:05can see the overall performance insight
18:08on a scheme level as well. So this
18:10particular AIF scheme is making 26.34%
18:13return. You can see some other details
18:15like what is the first transaction date,
18:17current evaluation as on date, total
18:19investment, total
18:21withdrawal, total gain you are making on
18:24that particular uh uh investment and
18:27then you can get the comparison as well
18:28your portfolio returns that is a scheme
18:30level returns versus you can compare
18:32that with different index EGR. Similarly
18:35XR comparison and other metrics also you
18:38will easily get it. So entire
18:40performance is not only available on a
18:43portfolio level but it is available on a
18:45asset class level as well as individual
18:48asset level also like a stock mutual
18:50fund scheme Aif scheme or any other
18:53asset
18:56class also we talked about the category
18:59now it's very important to understand
19:02the category level performances because
19:04if you want to uh see how your specific
19:07category investment is performing For
19:09example, equity category can have your
19:13private equity, equity shares, equity
19:15mutual funds. We basically consolidate
19:17all these asset classes into one
19:20category that is a equity category. And
19:22if you want to see how a category is
19:24performing, how a category investments
19:26are performing, you can get that as
19:28well. So equity that different category
19:31insights, you can easily get it from M
19:33profit.
19:41We also have option if you want to
19:42compare different categories. Uh we
19:45already talked about it but if you want
19:46to understand the comparison between
19:49different categories how each category
19:50is performing. For example, equity
19:52versus debt. You can get that from a
19:55performance by category section by
19:57selecting a individual portfolio or a
20:00family group.
20:04So we talked about the overall uh
20:06investment portfolio performance
20:08insights. Let's talk about the PMS
20:10portfolio as well. So I'm selecting a
20:13PMS portfolio from the list. So I'll
20:16select the access PMS a mata and I'll go
20:18to the performance
20:21section. Yeah, you would like to uh
20:24cover this part. Uh sure, sure. So in
20:27our PMS portfolios what we've done is
20:29we've created certain additional tables
20:32which will give a deeper insight into
20:33your PMS portfolio. For example, you can
20:36see the snapshot version which is
20:37available in a regular portfolio or a
20:39family level is slightly different in a
20:41case of a PMS portfolio. So we give you
20:44a summary of what is the PMS portfolio
20:46XR, what is the cash in, what is your
20:49cash out, what is your current
20:50investment value and what is your cash
20:52on hand.
20:54We calculate the PMSXR taking into
20:56account all the cash flows and the
20:59underlying holdings current valuation.
21:02Now why this is important is because
21:04there is certain cash which is always
21:06lying idle with your PMS fundhouse out
21:09of which certain fees are also deducted
21:11and the cash is not technically
21:13generating any return for you. So when
21:16calculating a PMS XR we make sure to
21:19consider all the different kinds of cash
21:21flows that have occurred in your PMS
21:22fund. along with the underlyings current
21:25valuation. So if you see when we create
21:27a PMS portfolio in our classic app, we
21:30recommend that you import two
21:32statements. One is your PMS transaction
21:34statement file and one is your PMS bank
21:36book. Now the transaction statement file
21:38helps us capture all the underlying
21:40details and the bank book helps us
21:42capture all the cash flows and the
21:44various fees charged by the fund
21:46provider and we consider all of these
21:50different options. So to in order to
21:53give you a complete PMS portfolio XRM.
21:56So here if you can see post the
21:59performance snapshot at the bottom there
22:01is an absolute gain available. There is
22:03a income payout which would be the
22:04dividend income or any other kind of
22:06income and the total fees. Now this fees
22:10component we are capturing from the bank
22:12book that you're importing. So if you
22:14click on the see distribution thing you
22:17can see a pie chart which will show you
22:19a split between the different kind of
22:21fees which the PMS has charged you it
22:23for example performance fees, management
22:25fees, custody fees or any other kind of
22:28fees. PMS's usually charge different
22:31kinds of fees and sometimes in the
22:33return that they may provide you with
22:35the fees component may not get noticed
22:38as easily because it they provide you a
22:41complete total net return. So in order
22:43for you to have a complete visibility
22:45into the different PMS schemes that
22:47you're invested in, we make sure to
22:49provide you all the details of the
22:50different cash flows and the fees as
22:53well. If you would notice the PMS fund
22:56providers usually provide you with
22:57something called as TWWRR which is the
23:00time weighted rate of return. Now what
23:02is the difference between TWWRR and XIR?
23:05The time weighted rate of return
23:08considers all the different timings on
23:10which the cash flows have happened but
23:13it does not consider the actual cash
23:15flow amount. So for example let's say
23:19for the financial year 2425 you have
23:22done cash flows in April, June, July and
23:26August you have invested more money and
23:29in December you have withdrawn some
23:31money. What the TWWRR will consider is
23:33it will take the dates at which these
23:35cash flows have happened the cash in and
23:37the cash out but it will not consider
23:39the actual quantum of this cash flow and
23:43hence it is merely a time weighted
23:45return without giving any relevance to
23:48the cash flows that have been incurred
23:50in this portfolio and Xirra not only
23:54considers your timing that is from which
23:56date the cash flow has happened but also
23:58the quantum of the cash flow whether it
24:00is cash in or cash out. So, XR is a more
24:03holistic way of looking at your PMS
24:05portfolio because it considers not only
24:08the underlying current valuation but it
24:10also considers the timing of these
24:12different cash flows and the amount of
24:14these different cash flows along with
24:16the fees that the PMS is charging you
24:18with. So when we calculate the PMS XR
24:20for your portfolio, we make sure to
24:22consider all the different cash flows
24:24occurring on different dates along with
24:27the underlyings to give you a more
24:29complete picture of your PMS portfolio
24:31XIR.
24:33If you go to the next screen, uh if you
24:36go down below, you will see there is a
24:38chart which is called as the cash flow
24:39snapshot which quickly summarizes the
24:42different kind of cash flows that have
24:44incurred in your portfolio along with
24:45the closing cash and the closing
24:47investment value. all the other charts
24:50that is the XRL versus index CGR chart
24:54uh XRL comparison chart which is the
24:55blended benchmark or the mirror
24:58benchmark chart are similar to what we
25:01have in the different normal portfolios.
25:03So here also if your PMS scheme for
25:06example is a flexi cap scheme right in
25:09that case you can custom create your
25:11blends by giving weightage to large mid
25:13and small cap so as to give a complete
25:16PMS XR versus a blended PMS benchmark XR
25:20comparison. Similarly you'll also be
25:22able to see the different charts like
25:24performance by category performance by
25:26asset class and the advanced performance
25:29insights. All of these charts which are
25:31applicable to a normal portfolio and at
25:33a family and a group level will also be
25:35available at the PMS level. But at the
25:37PMS level, in addition to these reports,
25:40we also give you the additional reports
25:42such as the cash flow snapshot. The way
25:45we calculate your PMS XR along with a
25:47fee distribution
25:50summary. One more thing about the PMS is
25:53the difference between discretionary PMS
25:56and a non-discretionary PMS. Now the two
26:00uh reports that I mentioned earlier
26:01which you have to import the transaction
26:03statement and bank book are usually
26:05available only in case of a
26:07discretionary PMS that is in a case
26:09where entire decision-m capacity lies
26:12with the PMS fund provider but in case
26:15of an NDPMS where the decision making is
26:18with you the investor and not directly
26:20with the fund house in that case they
26:22may provide you with something called as
26:23a transaction statement but not with the
26:26cash flows and the fees that they have
26:28charged. touched you with. So in order
26:30to make sure that your NDPMS portfolio
26:32is also accurately
26:34calculated in our PMS
26:36portfolio, we have given the option of
26:39adding the cash flows. We have an import
26:41template which you can use uh to put in
26:44all the cash in and cash flow. But the
26:46more important feature is the cash
26:48balance autoc calculation which you can
26:50see on the screen right now. If you
26:52enable this option that is should cash
26:54balances be autoc
26:55calculated this would mean that whenever
26:58you input any cash in or cash out
27:00through our import function or directly
27:02on the M profit screen your cash on hand
27:05will be automatically calculated by the
27:07system and you don't have to manually
27:10calculate in Excel and then punch it
27:11into Mr. Mr. does this for you. So all
27:15you have to do is import all your cash
27:16in and cash outs along with the
27:18different kind of fees that is being
27:20charged by this NDPMS provider and your
27:23cash on hand will be automatically
27:24calculated by us. And similar to a
27:27normal discretionary PMS portfolio XR,
27:30we will also provide the PMS XR for a
27:32non-discretionary PMS.
27:35This is also true in case of a RAIA or a
27:39U advisory kind of portfolio wherein
27:42your advis your RA is only recommending
27:45schemes but you yourself are only
27:47managing or doing the transactions for
27:49that. In the same in that scenario also
27:52you can use a PMS portfolio option add
27:54in all the cash cash flows any fees that
27:57the advisor the RAR is charging you with
28:00and all the different transactions and
28:02your XR will be computed in the similar
28:05fashion.
28:09Yeah, thanks Ra. So uh in case of normal
28:13PMSSS you get a bank book statement and
28:15transaction statements which we directly
28:17support for but other than that if you
28:20have any NDPMS portfolio uh you might be
28:23getting a transaction data but for cash
28:25flow data you can definitely enter it
28:27manually including all the fees you are
28:29paying for the for that particular
28:31non-discretionary PMS as well and this
28:33is a screen as we are talking about it.
28:35This is a screen from where you can add
28:36the individual fees if required. And we
28:40do have a cash balance autoc cash
28:42balance calculation option where you
28:44don't need to manually calculate the
28:45cash balance or cash on hand every
28:47single time. Once you add the cash flow
28:50data that is cash in cash out and fees
28:52the cash balance will be automatically
28:54calculated depending on these details
28:57and then you will definitely get the
28:59similar kind of insights for your NDPMS
29:01portfolios as well.
29:06So as we covered investment portfolio uh
29:09asset class wise insights uh performance
29:13insights PMS portfolio performance
29:16insights let's talk about the group
29:17level insights as well. So if you have
29:19multiple different portfolios uh
29:22including your normal portfolios,
29:24advisory
29:25portfolios and if you want to see the
29:27overall performance for your entire
29:29family, you can simply select a family
29:32group. Go to the performance tab and you
29:35can see the overall performance insights
29:37on a family level consisting of multiple
29:40different portfolios.
29:42You'll get all the similar insights
29:44different uh similar screens as you uh
29:46have seen for individual portfolio or
29:49asset class level. One specific screen
29:51which is important and different which
29:53is a performance by
29:55portfolio. If you don't want to see a
29:58detailed portfolio level insights and
30:00you just want to have a highle view that
30:01how every single uh PMS or investment or
30:05advisory portfolio is performing uh
30:08which is available under family. This is
30:10a nice view we are providing where you
30:11get performance by portfolio. So you'll
30:14get the portfolio line item wise as you
30:16see on the screen. AIS PMS of Azure Meta
30:18is making 27.81% returns. AJamea's
30:22direct portfolio that is a investment
30:23portfolio is making 20.79% return.
30:26Similarly, Bina Meta has a advisory
30:28portfolio which is making 20.67% return.
30:31So you can compare multiple different
30:34investment as well as PMS or advisory
30:37portfolios with each other using this
30:40particular section which is you have to
30:42select a family group and then you can
30:44go to the performance by portfolio
30:48section. Similarly let's say you are
30:51doing advisory with couple of different
30:53advisor and now you want to just compare
30:56different advisor portfolios with each
30:58other. What you can do is you can create
31:01just like a family group you can create
31:02a custom group and link all the advisor
31:05portfolios under the scene. So in this
31:07case I have already created a advisory
31:12portfolio you can go to the performance
31:14section and then simply go to the
31:16performance by portfolio section. This
31:20advisory group consists of different
31:21advisory portfolios. So on the single
31:24screen as you can see you can compare
31:26how each advisor portfolio is
31:28performing. You can also get some other
31:30details such as total inflow, outflow,
31:33income payout, closing valuation. Total
31:35gain is basically consist of your
31:37absolute gain. This will cover your
31:41realized as well as unrealized
31:43gain. You can get it in a value also. As
31:46you can see total gain shows 53.90 lakhs
31:50of almost 54 lakhs and just below that
31:52it's in a percentage also. So along with
31:55the annualized rate of return XR return
31:58you can also see the absolute return
32:00under total gain
32:07column. Okay. As we are talking about
32:10the uh advisory portfolio, we do have a
32:13separate module available for the scene.
32:15Uh the management needs to be done from
32:17the classic view where you can create a
32:20portfolio and call it as a strategy
32:22portfolio. So for example, I can create
32:24a advisory portfolio here and I can mark
32:27this portfolio as a strategy goal
32:28portfolio. So that whatever your
32:31investment you are doing through a
32:33certain advisory, you can do the
32:35assignments. You can assign transactions
32:37on a transaction level as well as on a
32:39bulk level as well. So you can manage
32:43advisory portfolio easily by creating
32:46it. And then similarly you can then get
32:48the comparison performance insights as
32:51well.
32:59Uh if you want to understand how you can
33:01how to create different strategies and
33:03how to create strategy wise portfolios
33:05how to do the tagging for different
33:07investments we have a help center
33:09available which is
33:10help.mpprofit.in where we have added
33:12detailed guides how you can do the same
33:15or if you need any help please reach out
33:17to us at supportprofit.in
33:1910 or email id support email id and our
33:22team will be uh will contact you
33:25basically and just guide you with
33:26creating strategy and goal portfolios so
33:28that you can get the performance
33:30analytics as
33:33well. So rather you would like to add
33:35anything uh on the group level maybe uh
33:38we can also show maybe a specific
33:40financial year or a calendar year and
33:42show the P book P&L versus the normal
33:45gain.
33:48Uh yeah let me just select individual
33:50portfolio AR mata let's
33:52say go to the performance section. So as
33:56we talked about seeing the overall
33:58returns um we also provide periodic
34:01returns and in this case let me just
34:03select a specific financial year. For
34:05example I'm selecting financial year
34:142324. Now this is showing me overall
34:16returns for a financial year 2324. Now
34:20here in this case the opening valuation
34:22you see that is as on 1st April 2023
34:26closing valuation is as on 31st March
34:292024 total investment you have done in
34:32this period is 5.82 crores similarly
34:35there is some withdrawal which is of
34:3611.80 80 lakhs almost 12 lakhs and the
34:40gain you're making in this particular
34:41period. Now for this kind of a
34:44calculation where it's a periodic
34:45returns periodic XR we consider the
34:49opening valuation as I mentioned as on
34:511st April 20 uh 23 in this particular
34:56case for total gain calculation we are
34:59considering the cost of 1st April 2023.
35:03Similarly, if you want to get it from
35:05Jan to December, we recommend to
35:08generate a similar insights by selecting
35:10a calendar. In that case, the cost to
35:14calculate the total gain will be
35:16considered as a first Jan of that
35:18particular year to 31st of December of
35:20that particular
35:23year. So that you can always see the
35:27periodic returns or periodic gains
35:29depending on a specific period you are
35:31selecting.
35:33You can simply select year and this is
35:35basically a calendar year. If I select
35:3824, if I select 23, it will show me the
35:41overall periodic returns and uh gain
35:44loss information from 1st April 2023 uh
35:47sorry from 1st January 2023 to 31st of
35:51uh December
35:522023. That that is a calendar
35:55year. So this is one of the uh uh
35:57periodic uh uh details we are providing
36:00and the way we are considering opening
36:02valuations, calculating the returns and
36:04then showing the total gain.
36:08And if you click on the total gain for
36:10the period, you'll also be able to see
36:11the P&L booked for that specific period.
36:15Yeah, we have a two options available.
36:17total gain for the period and if you
36:18want to see the realized profit and loss
36:21for this particular period as I have
36:22selected financial year 2324 you can
36:25select profit and loss book in the
36:27period it will show you that as
36:31well of course we do have a detailed
36:34capital gain reports available in our
36:36classic view but if you want to uh see
36:39the profit and loss booked along with
36:41the XR returns and performance insights
36:43this is the option available
36:51Um should we move to the new features?
36:54Sure. So as we have covered the
36:56performance insights, let's let's move
36:58to the new features which we have
36:59recently introduced in last couple of
37:01months. Um one is the equity exposure. U
37:05initially when we launched equity
37:07exposure I would say it was very basic
37:09with standard equity exposure across
37:11stocks, mutual funds and ETFs. But
37:13overall we have done lot of improvements
37:16to this particular feature. Rather you
37:18would like to uh explain the scene.
37:19Sure. Sure. So our advanced equity
37:22exposure feature if you see we provide
37:25exposure of your entire stock
37:28investments. So for example, the equity
37:31exposure chart you see here, it shows
37:33exposure to a particular script through
37:35your direct stock investments and also
37:37through your indirect stock investments,
37:39through your PMS portfolios and through
37:42your mutual funds and ETFs. So if you
37:44see for example HDFC Bank in this case,
37:47we will show you the exposure uh
37:50exposure to HDFC script is through your
37:53direct stocks of say 3.23 two three
37:55crores of current valuation and also
37:57through mutual funds. You also have the
38:00option now to see which specific mutual
38:02funds contribute to the exposure to a
38:04particular script. So here you can see
38:07there are three mutual funds Kotak
38:09banking, HDFC large and midcap and adita
38:12and few two three other mutual fund
38:15schemes as well. So you can use the
38:17equity exposure feature to see which
38:20specific mutual fund is also
38:21contributing to your exposure to a
38:23script. Um can I can you go back to the
38:26equity exposure? Yeah. If you see here
38:29we have also provided two additional
38:31tabs which is called as sector and
38:32market cap. So here you can see how
38:36exposed you are to different sectors
38:39through your direct stock investments
38:40and of course through your indirect PMS
38:42mutual funds and ETF investments as
38:44well. Similarly you can also see the
38:47market cap split. So how exposed your
38:50overall portfolio is to large cap,
38:52midcap and small
38:54cap. We provide detailed level of
38:56granular insights. Now for example, if
38:58you were to select the entire family
39:00group level. Uh that mean can we select
39:02a group? Yeah. So if you select the
39:05family group level and go to the equity
39:07exposure feature, select on any specific
39:10script, you will also be able to see
39:12through which portfolios it is exposed
39:15through. Direct stocks is under which
39:17portfolio? which are the PMS schemes
39:19which have exposure to HDFC bank and
39:22which are the different mutual funds as
39:23well. So at a entire family level also
39:27which specific portfolio has
39:28contribution to this script or is more
39:31exposed or underexposed to a particular
39:33script can be seen through our advanced
39:36equity exposure feature. So on the top
39:38you can see we have given three tabs
39:39asset type asset and portfolio. So if
39:42you click on the asset, you'll be able
39:43to see how much is through direct
39:44stocks, how much is through PMS stocks
39:47and how much is through different kind
39:48of mutual funds. And if you click on the
39:51portfolio tab, it will show you how much
39:53is through how much exposure to HDFC
39:56Bank is through say Binamea's portfolio
39:59or Ajay Meta's portfolio so on and so
40:01forth. So you can use our equity feature
40:04to do a complete overlap analysis of
40:07your stock exposure because we consider
40:09not only your direct stock investments
40:11but your indirect investments which are
40:13through PMS, mutual funds and ETFs. So
40:16if you want to take any reallocation
40:18decisions because you're over or
40:20underexposed to a particular script and
40:22you want further details on that, you
40:24can always use the equity exposure
40:25feature which will give you more
40:26detailed level of insights into your
40:29exposure exposure to any specific
40:31script.
40:36Yeah. Uh next. Yeah. Thanks, Rada. Yeah.
40:38So, uh let's talk about the next uh
40:41feature as well, which is PDF downloads.
40:43Now, we talked about the performance
40:45insights which you uh can get on
40:49multiple different levels. But if you
40:50want to export this data, now there is a
40:52option to export the performance screens
40:55into a PDF format. Uh let me go to the
40:58individual portfolio once or let me show
41:01you from here as
41:05well. Only one small thing is you need
41:07to generate all these screens first and
41:10then you can click on export to export
41:12the either the
41:14uh performance snapshot or maybe you can
41:17get all these charts in a single export
41:20option. That option is available here on
41:22the top right hand side. download
41:24option. You you can just download the
41:26snapshot which is this particular
41:27performance snapshot or you can download
41:29the entire performance report which will
41:32consist of all the screens you see on in
41:34the performance tab which is your XLR
41:36versus index AGR or performance by
41:38category performance by asset classes uh
41:42performance advanced performance
41:43insights. All the screens will be
41:45downloaded using a single performance
41:47report section.
41:57This how it looks
42:00like. So this is the export option we
42:03have recently added if you want to
42:04export all the different uh performance
42:07insights into a single PDF
42:12file. Another feature which we have
42:14added is the private equity corporate
42:16actions. uh as this is a entry level or
42:19uh updation level in uh feature we'll go
42:22to the classic view and just to show it
42:24to you if I see a specific equity
42:27category investments now just like uh
42:30equity shares where on the equity shares
42:32we provide autocorporate actions where
42:35bonus plate merger de merger dividends
42:38can be automatically applied. Now for
42:40private equity investments also you will
42:42be able to add the corporate actions
42:44manually. You can simply right click on
42:46a particular private equity asset class
42:48and go to the other transaction section
42:50and from here you'll be able to add
42:52bonus split merger de merger and other
42:54corporate actions as
42:56well. So this is one of the feature we
42:58have added and similarly there is a
43:00option if you want to merge particular
43:03private equity from private equity
43:06category to a stocks category. Let's say
43:08there is a asset which got listed. You
43:11can simply do a merger entry from
43:13private equity to stocks and ETFs that
43:15is equity shares. And for that you can
43:17use this option add merger into a listed
43:19stock. So you don't need to manually
43:21delete the transactions and then add it
43:23into a stocks and ETFs
43:28portfolio. Okay. And there's one more
43:31feature which we have introduced which
43:32is a tally integration. uh it's one of
43:34the very important features we have uh
43:36added to the platform. U I'm sure some
43:40of the members are already aware about
43:42this feature. It was introduced a couple
43:44of months back. Many of our family
43:46officers have started using tally
43:49integration feature very actively. It
43:51will it basically helps you to integrate
43:56your investment data from Mr. Tally
43:59application for your accounting
44:01purposes. Currently if you're using MP
44:03profit application and also using tally
44:06app for your accounting needs I'm
44:08assuming that most of the cases you must
44:10be manually entering all the transaction
44:12data in tally that is creating different
