0:00if you've ever been worried about not
0:02sounding confident or not looking
0:04confident when you're giving a
0:05presentation I've got three tips for you
0:07that will really help so on this
0:09challenge you're gonna learn
0:09presentations tips tricks and how to's
0:11to give good presentations especially if
0:14you're a non-native English speaker so
0:17the three tips that I have here are
0:19related to your confidence and
0:20projecting confidence the first thing
0:23that you want to do is you want to make
0:25sure that you are not speaking too
0:27quickly
0:28you want to make sure that people are
0:30actually able to understand you so slow
0:32down a little bit we tend to get nervous
0:35and start speaking a lot faster when we
0:36give presentations then we never load up
0:38that is not going to sound very
0:40confident you're going to be much more
0:42confident sounding if you speak a little
0:43bit slower so that's the first tip the
0:46second tip has to do with the volume of
0:48your voice you want to speak loud enough
0:50so people can actually hear you if you
0:53start talking really quietly like this
0:55it's not really confident sounding you
0:58want to make sure that you sound
1:00properly you want to make sure that
1:01people can hear your voice properly that
1:03means using a good louder volume so try
1:07to speak louder than you normally would
1:09because then you're projecting your
1:11voice better if you're just speaking
1:12like you normally do it doesn't really
1:15Amin on all so it doesn't but it may not
1:17project or sound as confident you can
1:20also work on trying to have your voice
1:23come from sort of your belly from you
1:25know not just from your mouth area here
1:27but really toes are bringing it up from
1:29your belly region to project your voice
1:31and make it a little bit louder and the
1:33third tip and the third tip that I have
1:35for you to sound more confident when
1:36giving a presentation is to make sure
1:39that you work on your intonation and
1:41your emotion so if you're just talking
1:44and you're not really into nating your
1:47words and you don't have a lot of
1:49emotion this does not sound very
1:52confident
1:53it sounds very robotic and not
1:55interesting so you want to make sure
1:57that you bring some emotion you want to
2:00make sure that you have some intonation
2:02in your voice so that people can hear
2:05that sound and that confidence coming
2:07from you because when they're listening
2:09to it it's it's much more difficult for
2:11them
2:12to sort of get a sense of your
2:14confidence level if your voice is sort
2:16of more monotone it's much more
2:18confident and much more engaging for the
2:20audience if you can project some emotion
2:23and some intonation in your voice so
2:25those were three tips to help you sound
2:27more confident the first one is to speak
2:29more slowly the second is to speak
2:32louder and more clearly and the third
2:34one is to use more emotion and
2:36intonation in your voice hopefully you
