0:00Whis destroys his own halo, and every
0:01angel in existence immediately
0:03disappears. It happens while Goku and
0:04Vegeta are training on Beerus's planet.
0:06Whis suddenly stops moving, looks at his
0:08halo, and crushes it in his hand. Beerus
0:10stares at him in disbelief. [music]
0:11Whis, what did you just do? Whis doesn't
0:13answer. He simply looks toward the sky.
0:15At that exact moment, every angel across
0:17the 12 universes vanishes. Their gods of
0:19destruction are [music] left completely
0:20alone. Beerus immediately tries to
0:21contact Whis, but his staff no longer
0:23responds. Then the sky above Beerus's
0:25planet splits open. Goku and Vegeta
0:27prepare for an attack, but instead of an
0:28enemy, hundreds of broken halos begin
0:30falling from the crack. Beerus [music]
0:31catches one. The moment he touches it,
0:32he hears Whis's voice. Do not put it on.
0:34Beerus demands to know what is [music]
0:36happening. Whis finally appears. But
0:37without his halo, his eyes look
0:39completely different. He tells Beerus
0:40that the halos weren't [music] merely
0:41symbols of the angels. They were keeping
0:43something sealed inside every angel.
0:45Before Beerus can ask what, a violent
0:46shockwave tears through the planet.
0:48Somewhere [music] across the universe,
0:49an angel suddenly reappears. He looks
0:51directly at Whis and screams, "You
0:52destroyed yours too early." Whis
0:54immediately turns toward him. [music]
0:55"How long?" The angel looks at the sky
0:56and whispers, "It's already awake."
0:58Every broken halo suddenly begins
0:59floating upward. [music] They lock
1:00together, forming one enormous ring
1:02around the planet. Beerus prepares
1:03Hakai, but Whis stops [music] him.
1:04"Don't destroy them." Goku asks why.
1:06Whis looks at the ring and quietly says,
1:08"Because those aren't the halos
1:09anymore." The ring suddenly cracks open.
1:11Then the voice from inside the ring
1:12speaks directly [music] to Whis. "You
1:13finally remembered me."
