0:00Whis suddenly loses his angel powers.
0:01One second, he is serving [music] tea on
0:03Beerus's planet, and the next his halo
0:04shatters into pieces and falls to the
0:06ground. Beerus immediately [music]
0:07stands up. Across the multiverse, every
0:09angel freezes in place. Daishinkan
0:10appears moments later. Zeno demands an
0:12explanation, and Daishinkan reluctantly
0:14reveals a secret. Angels were never born
0:15with their power. [music] They were
0:16borrowing it. Long ago, a cosmic
0:18agreement allowed angels to draw energy
0:20from a source existing outside reality
0:21itself, but that source has suddenly
0:23stopped [music] responding. Whis checks
0:24his staff and discovers something
0:26terrifying. The missing energy isn't
0:27gone. It's [music] moving. Every bit of
0:29angel power in existence is gathering at
0:30a single location in Universe 7. Beerus,
0:33Whis, Goku, and Vegeta rush there
0:35expecting an enemy, but instead they
0:36find an ordinary village. Standing
0:37[music] in the center is Goten. Everyone
0:39is confused until Whis notices that
0:41every broken halo fragment across the
0:43multiverse is slowly floating toward
0:44him. Goten has [music] no idea what's
0:46happening. He claims he was sleeping
0:47when he started hearing voices.
0:48Suddenly, thousands of angel staffs
0:50appear in the sky above him. Daishinkan
0:51arrives and immediately [music] orders
0:52everyone to stay back. Beerus has never
0:54heard that tone before. It isn't fear.
0:56It's panic. Daishinkan [music]
0:57reveals that the angel energy isn't
0:59choosing Goten by accident. Every few
1:00billion years, reality selects a mortal
1:02as a replacement [music] for the entire
1:03angel race. Vegeta laughs thinking it's
1:05absurd until Goten unconsciously raises
1:07his hand and every angel in existence
1:09drops to one knee. Whis tries resisting
1:11but cannot move. Even [music] Daishinkan
1:12is forced down. Goku rushes to his son,
1:14but the moment he touches him, a voice
1:16echoes through [music] every universe.
1:17Selection complete. And Goten opens his
1:19eyes. They contain entire galaxies
1:21spinning inside them. Then when Zeno
1:22sees those eyes through Daishinkan's
1:24staff, [music] he quietly whispers a
1:25sentence nobody thought possible. That's
1:27the one who created the angels.
