0:00Whis suddenly tells Goku that he must
0:01never use Ultra Instinct [music] again.
0:03Goku is confused, but Whis isn't joking.
0:05During training on Beerus's planet, Whis
0:06reveals that every time Goku enters
0:08Ultra Instinct, something else inside
0:09the form becomes stronger. Before Goku
0:11can ask what he means, [music] Whis'
0:12staff activates and shows a vision of
0:14Goku fighting alone against an unknown
0:15enemy. Goku is using Ultra Instinct, but
0:17the enemy isn't attacking him. It's
0:19running from him. The vision ends with
0:20Goku's silver aura turning completely
0:22black. Whis [music] immediately shuts
0:23the staff down and explains the truth.
0:25Centuries ago, an angel discovered that
0:26Ultra Instinct could evolve beyond
0:28[music] its original purpose. If a
0:29mortal mastered it completely, the
0:30technique would eventually stop
0:31responding to the user's instincts and
0:33begin creating its own. Goku laughs it
0:34off until his silver aura suddenly
0:36appears without [music] him
0:36transforming. It moves independently,
0:38forming a second Goku behind him. Vegeta
0:40attacks the figure, but it dodges
0:41without even looking at him. Then it
0:42turns toward [music] Goku and speaks in
0:44his own voice. You're using my power.
0:45Goku freezes. Whis realizes the
0:47evolution has already begun. The second
0:49Goku [music] attacks, forcing Goku into
0:50Ultra Instinct just to survive. Every
0:52exchange makes the copy stronger until
0:53even Goku's movements are being
0:55predicted. Vegeta [music] joins the
0:56fight, but the copy suddenly stops and
0:57looks at him. You're not part of this.
0:59It vanishes into Goku's body.
