0:00Vegeta drops his arms to his sides and
0:01powers down completely. His body still
0:03smoking from the fusion with 12 gods and
0:05he tells Goku in a voice barely above a
0:07whisper that he's done. That he finally
0:08understands what Chakra has been trying
0:10to say this entire time. They've been
0:11fighting the wrong enemy since the
0:13beginning. Goku's eyes blink in
0:14confusion. His twisted form trembling as
0:16he asks what Vegeta means and the prince
0:18points directly at Lord Rhymus who
0:19stands watching them with hungry
0:20anticipation waiting for one of them to
0:22kill the other so he can absorb the
0:23winner and reclaim his full power.
0:24Vegeta tells Goku that Rhymus never
0:26wanted soldiers or sons. He wanted
0:28vessels strong enough to contain the
0:29energy he lost when Zeno's creation
0:31split him into fragments and scattered
0:32him across the multiverse. And every
0:33war, every betrayal, every fusion was
0:35designed to concentrate that power back
0:37into a single being he could consume.
0:39Goku's body starts to stabilize and he
0:40looks down at his hands still glowing
0:42with Zalama's stolen essence and
0:44realizes that he's exactly what Rhymus
0:45has been building toward. A mortal who
0:47absorbed gods, angels, dragons and
0:49destroyers all at once. Rhymus snarls
0:51and drops his calm. His voice shaking
0:53with fury as he screams, "Stop wasting
0:54time with philosophy when they're so
0:56close to giving him what he [music]
0:57needs." Vegeta and Goku exchange a
