0:00Iran just opened up a new front, but
0:02>> Saudi Arabia warning it will respond
0:05firmly to Yemen's Houthi rebels after
0:08the Iranian back group fired a missile
0:10and drone attack on the kingdom.
0:12>> Bill, these attacks from the Iranian
0:13backed Houthi fighters in Yemen keep
0:16coming into Saudi Arabia day after day.
0:19Alarm warnings going out in multiple
0:20cities across Saudi Arabia including
0:23Mecca. Now US officials say they are
0:25closely monitoring the situation and
0:27talking to all sides involved.
0:29>> in constant contact with the Emirates,
0:31the Saudis, and others who are affected
0:33in the region. So it's something the
0:35United States administration is very
0:36much on top of.
0:37>> But then this happened and this is going
0:39to be a problem for Iran, watch.
0:42>> A crucial Saudi oil pipeline that moves
0:45millions of barrels a day will be mostly
0:47out of service for weeks. That is what
0:49regional officials are telling the AP.
0:51The pipeline damaged last week in an
0:53attack that the Saudis blamed on drones
0:56from Iran backed militias in Iraq.
0:58>> Martha, that oil pipeline all the way
1:00across Saudi Arabia, 750 miles long. It
1:03was carrying 4 million barrels of oil
1:06every day. Now for weeks that oil is not
1:08going to go to market and Saudi Arabia
1:10is being hit day after day by attacks
1:12from Iranian backed Houthis. They're
1:15hitting not just the oil infrastructure,
1:17but they're also targeting cities as
1:19well. Warnings going out today even in
1:21the city of Mecca, the holiest site. And
1:24real concerns too, not just about oil
1:26infrastructure, but about some of the
1:28territory these Houthis have been able
1:30to take.
1:30>> Yeah, they took territory.
1:32>> key territory near the mouth of the Red
1:34Sea. This key strait, Bab el-Mandeb,
1:37it's just 18 miles long. The Houthis now
1:39say they are in control of that key
1:42strait. Here's their spokesperson.
1:44>> Listen to this.
1:46>> We're capable of closing Bab el-Mandeb
1:48strait and the Red Sea maritime
1:50navigation due to advances in our
1:52missile and aerial capabilities.
1:54>> So, at first it looks like Iran is
1:57waging some new offensive and that they
1:59are stronger than they've ever been.
2:01They've taken over the Strait of Hormuz
2:03and now they're going to take over the
2:04Red Sea. But, there's a problem. Iran
2:06has actually lost control of the Strait
2:09of Hormuz. The US controls that area and
2:11the whole reason we're having this
2:13conflict over in the Red Sea is because
2:16Iran has moved on. This is their last
2:19chance to do something to get the price
2:22of oil as high as possible and try to
2:24win back some leverage. Look at this.
2:26>> And they were really kind of held on
2:28back on a leash by the Iranians the
2:30beginning of this conflict while the
2:32United States really took on the
2:34Iranians. And now because the United
2:36States is really squeezing Iran so
2:39effectively economically that the
2:41Iranians are lashing out via the
2:43Houthis. And so they're opening up this
2:45next front to try to close this other
2:48energy choke point because the United
2:50States is successfully getting oil
2:51through
2:53these other particular these channels.
2:55And so it's frustrating the Iranians.
2:57That's why they're going this direction.
2:58>> So, one of the things that happened is
2:59the Houthis blew up the Saudi pipeline.
3:02Apparently, the Saudis said, "President
3:04Trump, could you please help us?" He was
3:05like, "I think we're not I think we're
3:06good at the moment." And what I just
3:08read in the New York Times is a former
3:09diplomat from in the United States
3:11saying that Saudi now is like, "Okay,
3:13well then I guess we have to go to
3:15diplomacy and work out some sort of deal
3:17with the Houthis. Is that possible?"
3:21>> It's not going to be possible, Dana. And
3:22this is really interesting because at
3:23the same time President Trump has this
3:26rhetoric that's chilly towards the
3:27Saudis publicly. You do see news reports
3:29that Admiral Cooper is leaning in pretty
3:32pretty closely to the Saudis militarily
3:34meeting with the Crown Prince to try to
3:36give the Saudis confidence that what
3:37they can do militarily. It it it is not
3:40the case that if the United States backs
3:42away from the Saudis that the Saudis
3:44will then step in and get some courage
3:46and militarily handle these problems
3:48themselves. It goes the other way. When
3:49the United States leans in and helps the
3:51Saudis, that's when they have confidence
3:53to do more militarily and I think that
3:54that's the take that the United States
3:56should approach with.
3:57>> And do you start to see what's happening
3:58here? As Iran lashes out after losing
4:01control of the Strait of Hormuz, trying
4:03to open up this new front, they are
4:05further isolating themselves from all of
4:08their neighbors and now they're pushing
4:09Saudi Arabia into the arms of a country
4:12nobody ever expected. Watch this.
4:15>> Saudis are in a bit of a tight spot
4:17right now. You know, they are in a pact
4:20with Pakistan and Turkey and the
4:23Pakistanis and the Turkeys haven't
4:24lifted a the Turks haven't lifted a
4:26finger.
4:27Then the Saudis went to the United
4:29States asking for help. We're not
4:30providing military assistance right now.
4:33We've got our hands full. It does sound
4:35like the United States is going to
4:36provide some kind of intelligence and
4:38maybe some guidance to the to the Saudi
4:41military, but this is not exactly a
4:43professional military that's able to
4:45carry out the kinds of strikes that it
4:47needs to on its own. As I understand it,
4:49actually the Saudis have also reached
4:51out to the Israelis, which is quite an
4:53extraordinary measure on their part
4:55hoping that the Israelis might help
4:57them, but you know, I think the Saudis
4:59really find themselves a bit down on
5:00their luck right now and this East-West
5:03pipeline, this accounts for something
5:04like 4% of the world's energy. This goes
5:08on top of the Strait of Hormuz closure,
5:10which is, you know, right now 15 to 20%
5:13of the world's energy. So, you get an
5:15understanding as to why the price of oil
5:17has shot up the way that it is, but not
5:19such a clear understanding of how the
5:21Saudis are going to get their way out of
5:22this. I think that's the challenge in
5:24front.
5:24>> They're going to get their way out of it
5:26with help from allies. We just heard
5:29that Admiral Brad Cooper, the CENTCOM
5:31commander, is over there. But now Saudi
5:32Arabia is talking to Israel. An alliance
5:36is being formed here that Iran doesn't
5:39want to exist. In their aggression
5:41towards their neighbors, they're forcing
5:43their neighbors to get away from them.
5:46As this conflict gets away from the
5:48Strait of Hormuz, which isn't under
5:50Iran's control at all. And the
5:52fascinating thing about this is
5:54everybody thinks that okay, Iran's got
5:56these Houthis, this group backed over
5:59there in Yemen that can threaten
6:00shipping in the Red Sea. Well, that's
6:03leverage up until the point where they
6:05use it because once they use the
6:07leverage, which they're doing now, the
6:08world sees what the consequences are of
6:11that. The world finds a way around it.
6:12The world finds a solution. And after
6:15what we're witnessing right here, this
6:17whole thing is pretty much over watch.
6:20>> Whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you telling me
6:22that the Saudis have reached out to
6:25Israel for some help? Any word on
6:27whether the Israelis are helping?
6:29Because there's a lot of lower channel
6:32discussion between those two countries
6:34that a lot of people don't know about.
6:36>> That's right.
6:36>> Look, the reports are that there was
6:38outreach that was done. They have
6:40already been in contact for quite some
6:43time. We know, of course, that there is
6:45no normalization. There has been no
6:47handshake on the White House lawn. But
6:49normalization is a process. It's not an
6:52event, right? So that process has been
6:55happening. And the Israelis have been
6:57working with the Saudis quietly on a
6:59number of areas, let's just say of
7:01mutual interest between the two
7:03countries. The question right now is can
7:06the Israelis provide Saudis the things
7:08that they need without necessarily
7:10getting involved directly in this
7:12conflict? I know
7:14>> So, this is a real wild card. Nobody
7:17knows what Israel's going to do. Nobody
7:18knows what the United States is going to
7:20do. Apparently, we're in talks with the
7:23Houthis, according to Vice President
7:24Pence. Remember, they have stayed out of
7:26this conflict for the most part. While
7:28Iran thought that they were winning in
7:30the Strait of Hormuz, we didn't hear a
7:32whole lot happening over here by the Red
7:34Sea. But now that the Strait of Hormuz,
7:36now that that saga is over and Iran has
7:38totally lost its leverage there, which
7:40everybody thought it had, they're trying
7:42to have some new leverage over here at
7:44the Red Sea through this proxy group,
7:46but this is going to evaporate even
7:47quicker. Also, there's another problem.
7:49Israel has engaged with the Houthis
7:52before. The same situation is
7:54materializing, and believe me, the
7:56Houthis do not want another conflict
7:59with Israel, MUCH LESS THE UNITED
8:00STATES, much less Saudi Arabia and F-15s
8:04getting targeting information from the
8:05United States. But, that brings up a big
8:08question. What is this really all about,
8:11and what is Iran's plan here? Listen to
8:13this.
8:13>> Indication is that Iran now is trying
8:16desperately to open up another front.
8:19They failed with Hamas. Hamas is
8:21basically inert. Hezbollah
8:24is anemic, and the Lebanese government
8:27is getting more confident that with
8:29Western help, they can rid themselves of
8:31Hezbollah.
8:33The only wild card is the Houthis in
8:36Yemen,
8:37and they now are threatening to close
8:41down the Red Sea, and they are
8:42supposedly getting help from the
8:44Iranian.
8:45>> Now, given everything that he just
8:47mentioned with Hamas and with Hezbollah
8:50and with all of these coordinations
8:51between countries in the Middle East,
8:53the writing is already on the wall for
8:55what's happening over by the Red Sea. Is
8:57this spiking gas prices? Yes. Is this
9:00spiking diesel prices? Yes, but it's all
9:03happening just a couple of weeks before
9:05the final month that leads into the US
9:07midterm elections. The only leverage
9:09Iran has left is the battle going on in
9:13your mind over whether or not they
9:15should have the ultimate capability,
9:17which is being waged at the gas pump.
9:20Listen to this.
9:20>> Past hour, we got a report from Trey
9:22Yingst in the Middle East. Reports of a
9:24US-contracted vessel that was targeted
9:28by the Iranians. What damage was done,
9:31we do not know, but is this where we are
9:33in America with the the of gasoline for
9:36the
9:36foreseeable future.
9:40>> Look, President Trump is simply not
9:42going to allow Iran to get nuclear
9:44weapons. Not only would that destabilize
9:46the region, but it would forever drive
9:48up energy prices.
9:50>> President Trump is about energy
9:52addition, about driving energy prices
9:54down. You commented how low gasoline
9:56prices were at the end of last summer.
9:58That's what Trump energy policies do.
10:01But in the conflict, yes, this has taken
10:03some energy resources out of the
10:04marketplace. It is causing a short-term
10:07sacrifice for Americans right now, but
10:09this is to end Iran's ability to forever
10:12drive up energy prices.
10:14>> And that is their goal. Do not think for
10:16a second that their goal is not to do
10:18what they are doing right now in pursuit
10:20of the ultimate capability. They have
10:22said they want this capability. They
10:23have said they will use whatever
10:24resources they have to achieve it. And
10:26what have they done? They've gotten
10:28themselves into a position where their
10:30neighbors are walking away from them.
10:32The oil infrastructure of the Middle
10:34East is walking away from the Strait of
10:36Hormuz, which Iran does not control
10:38anymore. Are things perfect in the
10:40Strait of Hormuz? Absolutely not. But
10:42the blockade around their country is so
10:44effective, nothing is getting in or
10:47getting out. And this uprising in Yemen
10:49is the last thing that they still
10:52believe that they have. And they're
10:53playing this card right now. They want
10:55to get the supply of oil as restricted
10:57as possible while there is still an
10:59active conflict going on in Ukraine.
11:01They want to do what they can to inflict
11:02pain at the pump. They hope that pain at
11:05the pump turns into votes against Trump.
11:08That is their plan. Which is a month and
11:11a half plan. This whole thing is going
11:13to end after the midterms. Trump even
11:14said so himself. Meanwhile, his plan His
11:17plan is going to last way into the
11:19future. And Iran's ambitions here, this
11:23is the end of them. But just before we
11:25continue, do you owe back taxes or have
11:27unfiled returns? Or have you filed every
11:29year, but just keep owing? Did you
11:31retire and suddenly get hit with a tax
11:33bill you didn't expect? Or are you a
11:35business owner with messy books and a
11:36balance you just can't afford? Maybe you
11:38pulled money out of your 401k and now
11:40the IRS wants its share. However your
11:42tax issue started, the outcome is the
11:44same. Your balance is not going down.
11:46Penalties grow, interest accrues, and
11:48many of you are about to owe again this
11:50upcoming year with zero plan in place.
11:53Stop what you're doing right now and
11:54call Tax Network USA. The IRS is not
11:57waiting. The IRS is enforcing
11:59collections through wage garnishments,
12:01bank levies, and property seizures. They
12:03can even file for you without your
12:05consent. This is where Tax Network USA
12:07comes in with over 15 years in business.
12:09There hasn't been a tax case they
12:11haven't seen or resolved. They
12:13specialize in tax controversies and help
12:15taxpayers nationwide get back on track
12:17by resolving back taxes and unfiled
12:19returns once and for all. And whether
12:22you owe $10,000 or $10 million, their
12:24team has resolved over $1 billion in tax
12:28debt. They can do the same for you, but
12:29you have to call now. They are offering
12:31a free investigation call with the IRS.
12:33After that investigation, they put a
12:34clear plan in place to get you back on
12:36track while resolving your tax problem.
12:38This is about using your legal rights to
12:40take control before the government sets
12:41the terms for you. Do not wait for
12:43another IRS letter or frozen bank
12:45account. Call 866-686-1735.
12:48That's 866-686-1735

12:56This link right here, it's also going to
12:58be in the description of this video.
12:59Now, let's get back to the show.
13:01>> That can be stopped very easily. You can
13:02stop all air flights getting help from
13:05the Iranian. That can be stopped very
13:07easily. You can stop all air flights to
13:09Yemen from around if they even continue.
13:13So, they have a finite supply.
13:15>> about the aggression in Yemen.
13:17>> at is
13:17>> It's finite.
13:18>> All of a sudden
13:207 weeks before the midterms, things are
13:23heating up in Iran.
13:25>> And that's a result that they cannot buy
13:28any material goods, any imported goods.
13:31They cannot sell any oil. They are
13:34losing $500 million a
13:37day in economic
13:38>> Because they've lost Hormuz.
13:40>> They cannot be resupplied
13:42uh easily, only by perhaps the Chinese
13:45and Russians through a train or
13:47something, and those bridges have been
13:48hit.
13:50They rely on Chinese satellite help, but
13:52the United States will be addressing
13:54that very soon.
13:56And so they thought that because the
13:58midterms are coming up and Donald Trump
14:00wants to get the price of gas down
14:03that he would negotiate a sweetheart
14:05deal to let them escape uh saving face
14:09and with many much of their government
14:12intact.
14:12>> exact opposite of that has happened.
14:16President Trump has said, "I will never
14:18allow Iran to achieve this ultimate
14:21destructive capability." And he said he
14:23doesn't care about the midterms. He's
14:24been saying that before Iran even opened
14:27up this second front to try to bring in
14:30their American midterm pressure at the
14:33pump campaign against Trump. But because
14:35they've now gone about exerting their
14:37leverage, because they've brought about
14:38this new front, and because it is finite
14:41and will go the same way as what's going
14:44on with their other proxy groups,
14:46they're running out of time and they
14:48know it. But look what else they're
14:50dealing with. Watch this.
14:51>> That's not going to happen. There's no
14:53chance that's going to happen.
14:55Instead, what do the midterms tell us
14:58about the pulse of the Iranian war from
15:01all the dimensions?
15:03Well, the Iranians have interpreted
15:05wrongly. They believe that as the
15:08midterms get closer and closer
15:11uh and the war becomes more unpopular
15:13because of the price of gas and as
15:16Democratic legislators
15:19get more emboldened and declare the war
15:21lost and some of our public
15:24intellectuals, people in Congress,
15:26people in the bureaucracy swear that
15:28Iran might be sympathetic, a sympathetic
15:32victim of a overweening United States.
15:35They feel that the midterms are in
15:37Iran's favor.
15:38One of two things will happen in panic
15:41that he might lose the midterms, Donald
15:43Trump suddenly will give Iran
15:45concessions
15:47concessions and try to get the straight
15:50open completely on Iran's side and get
15:54the price of oil that's not going to
15:55>> Right. Yeah, it's not a strategy.
15:57>> thinks that Donald Trump will lose the
16:00midterms
16:01and historically he may
16:04get the average of 22 seats he would
16:06lose. So, he would end up with a 13 or
16:0914 seat Democratic majority and either a
16:12deadlocked or a one or two seat
16:14disadvantage in the Senate. I don't
16:16think that's going to happen, but it
16:18could.
16:19But what would that do?
16:20>> Do you think the Democrats would have
16:22enough strength to cut off all
16:26military
16:28funding for the Iran war?
16:30>> They might try, but this is Iran's
16:32strategy. Their strategy relies on
16:35external forces, external actors,
16:38interests that are not 100% wedded to
16:41what they want to accomplish and they
16:43think that this is their way to escape.
16:45Now, in the past, you can't blame them.
16:47They've been around for 47 years.
16:48They've been playing this game with past
16:50US presidents and they've always managed
16:52to escape somehow. They've always
16:53managed to come out unscathed. No
16:55president was willing to stop their
16:58aggression and to take away their
16:59leverage like President Trump is. And
17:01who is Iran allying themselves with
17:04right now? Canada?
17:05The Democrats in America, the
17:08socialists, the communists in America
17:12are their allies. This might backfire on
17:14them in a way
17:16>> [snorts]
17:16>> that they do not expect, shortening this
17:18conflict, bringing about energy
17:20stability even faster than they're
17:23already worried about. Look at this.
17:25>> The moment when we're making enormous
17:27progress, no, that's not going to
17:28happen. The Iranians are sorely
17:30mistaken.
17:32If the midterms have any effect
17:34whatsoever,
17:36they might result in the opposite rather
17:39than Donald Trump thinking
17:41that
17:42he wants to be quiet and he wants to
17:47allow negotiations to resume or he's
17:50fearful of losing the midterms. It might
17:53be that he feels
17:54that for the first time he will allow
17:57the CIA to to arm the Kurds. It might
17:59feel that there are people working with
18:02the Iranian people who might want to go
18:04out in the street before the midterms
18:06because they feel this is the best time
18:08possible.
18:09>> Think about that. If you're part of the
18:10opposition in Iran and you see what's
18:13going on and you see public polling from
18:16fake news sources that perhaps is over
18:19sampling the communists and says, "Look,
18:21Trump's going to lose this thing. It's
18:23over." That could be interpreted as a
18:25signal that it is go time and that you
18:28have a friend in the White House right
18:29now who will help you and pretty soon
18:31that friend might not be there. So, this
18:33is actually putting pressure on Iran in
18:36a way that their leaders who are holding
18:3991 million people hostage haven't
18:41CONSIDERED AT ALL. WHILE COMPLETELY
18:44isolating them on the global stage,
18:46think about that for a second. The more
18:47Iran goes after their neighbors, the
18:49more Iran makes countries like Saudi
18:51Arabia team up with Israel to just get
18:54peace and get some normalcy back to
18:57their area of the world, the people of
18:59Iran now have more folks who are in
19:02favor of them gaining their freedom.
19:04More folks who are in favor of seeing
19:05the regime that is going on offense
19:07against everybody whether they're
19:09involved in this thing or not out of
19:12power forever. Look at this.
19:14>> is very worried and Donald Trump is very
19:17pro-dissident
19:19and everybody is saying the Democrats
19:21are going to win. Maybe the people say,
19:24"If they get elected, we don't have
19:26friends in Washington. We do have a
19:28friend now in the in the Congress and
19:30the White House. So, let's go bring the
19:34revolt, the dissension to a head." And
19:37finally,
19:39if you look at the entire situation,
19:42uh the midterms are actually in the
19:45interest of Donald Trump
19:47>> Fascinating.
19:48>> and the Iranian dissidents. Donald Trump
19:51then has a deadline
19:54uh to which he can
19:56um
19:57bring this thing to a close. He's
19:59>> A deadline to bring this thing to a
20:01close. This is the thing the American
20:03people have been wondering about and
20:05asking about for the last 6 months. When
20:07is it going to be over? Here it is right
20:09here. He says the oil prices will come
20:10down after the midterm elections. Why?
20:12Because Iran is running on empty. Every
20:16single day they wage their last pieces
20:19of leverage in a part of the world they
20:21don't control because the part of the
20:23world they've claimed they control is
20:24actually under US control and their
20:27economy isn't working at all because of
20:29the US blockade. That blockade keeps
20:31doing its thing. The pressure campaign
20:34from President Trump is going to keep
20:36happening. The sanctions are going to
20:37keep working. The blockade isn't going
20:39away anytime soon. And what we have here
20:41is a calculated move. Iran has been
20:43hoping, wrongfully so, that Trump would
20:45make a deal to get the gas prices down
20:47and proclaim peace and that he's looking
20:48for an off-ramp. This is what the fake
20:50news has been telling us. "Oh, he's
20:51looking for an off-ramp. He's looking
20:53over here. He's looking over there."
20:55But, Trump has been pretty clear. He
20:56says Iran cannot have a devastating
20:59weapon and he says I don't care about
21:00the midterms. So, he's been very clear.
21:03The only people saying Trump is looking
21:04for an off-ramp are the people that want
21:06to see him lose this whole thing, the
21:07people that want to see another 47 years
21:11of imprisonment for the Iranian people
21:13who are under the watchful eye of a
21:15regime that just continues to
21:17miscalculate. Their operation in Yemen
21:20through their proxy group is a total
21:22miscalculation. They're This is not
21:23going to work out. This is finite. They
21:25don't have the ability to supply them
21:26forever. There's a moment where things
21:28are happening, a moment right before a
21:30major US election designed to apply
21:33pressure at the pop, spike the price of
21:34oil. It's only temporary. They can't
21:37keep these guys supplied for a long-term
21:39conflict. This is not a long-term
21:41operation. It's just a 7-week operation.
21:44That's their plan, less than 2 months.
21:47Meanwhile, President Trump is setting
21:48things up for Americans to have a future
21:51that is free of regime influence in a
21:53way the world hasn't seen in half a
21:57century. What do you think about that?
21:59I'll see you in the next video.
