0:10NANCY: There's enough power in every sick room and in every
0:14hospital room to raise up that sick one, that may be describing
0:19you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room.
0:23And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there
0:29to do a work. Believe in what's present, not trying to get
0:32something, but notice that He's already made it yours. It's
0:36present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power.

0:53NANCY: Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today, for
0:55Jesus the Healer, and aren't you thankful for the Word? I tell
0:59you, thank God for the Word. If it weren't for the Word, listen,
1:03we wouldn't even know where our thoughts should land, right? I
1:07mean, we would be wandering in our thought lives, but the Word
1:12teaches us, brings us into right thinking, God's thoughts. Amen.
1:16And as we have God's thoughts, then we can come into God's ways
1:21of operating. Amen. And so thank you for joining us today. And we
1:25say this, we're believing God for answers for your life. So
1:30keep your spiritual ears open, your natural ears, but as well
1:34your spiritual ears to recognize the help that God has for you in
1:38the Word today. Amen. We are in the midst of a series that we
1:42have so enjoyed bringing it to you. We've been teaching out of
1:46my book called "The Greatness of God's Power," and I tell you
1:49it's a great power. It's a great power. It's far greater than any
1:53other flow that's out there. And so we are learning what that
1:59power will do for us. We're learning how to be skillful with
2:02it. It's one thing to know that you have power available to you,
2:06but if you don't know what to do to access it, how to cooperate
2:11with it, you don't benefit as you ought. So we're so grateful
2:16that we're all learning. I mean, there's never a time we say, oh,
2:19we've arrived. No, we continue to learn. So thank you for being
2:23hungry for the Word and learning along with us. We have been
2:28taking as our starting scripture, something that Paul
2:32prayed. It's recorded in Ephesians chapter 1 in verse 16.
2:38And it's been so good. I mean feeding on this scripture
2:42because it's so loaded with revelation and so in verse 16,
2:48Ephesians 1, Paul writes, he said, I cease not to give thanks
2:52for you making mention of you in my prayers. And this is what he
2:57prayed for 'em. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
3:01Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and
3:05revelation in the knowledge of him. Now, let me ask you this.
3:10How is that spirit of wisdom and that spirit of revelation going
3:14to dawn on us? The next phrase tells us the eyes of our
3:17understanding or the eyes of our spirit being enlightened. What's
3:21that mean? With our spirit, with our heart, we're going to see
3:23something. It's going to dawn on us. Do you know that your spirit
3:26has eyes just like your body has eyes? And that the light of the
3:30Word going in, it dawns on your spirit. It's not just something
3:33that dawns on your mind. Thank God we can grasp some truths
3:38with our own human understanding, but it's got to
3:43go beyond the mind, and it's got to sink down into the spirit,
3:46and this is what Paul is talking about. He said, these things
3:49have to dawn on your spirit. It's not just something landing
3:53in your head. So he says, the eyes of your spirit being
3:57enlightened, and this is what we're to be enlightened with.
4:01Number one, that you may know what is the hope of His calling.
4:04Or we could say this, who you are in Christ. Number two, what
4:07the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Well,
4:10that means what belongs to us because we're in Christ. Number
4:14three, what is exceeding greatness of His power to usward
4:18who we believe, that's what we can do. Why? Because we're in
4:21Christ. And because we're in Christ, the power of God is
4:25ours. It's ours to receive of, but it's also ours for it to
4:30flow through us to bless somebody else. Amen. So that
4:34means we can do more than we ever could have done outside of
4:37Christ, right? Coming into Christ brings us into a flow of
4:42power. Power for every day life. Listen, I can just ask even the
4:49studio audience here. I'll ask them, they know before you were
4:52born again, you could sense the absence of power, right? I mean
4:55there wasn't power to face the situations. Well, I want you to
4:59know that when we got born again, we also came into a flow
5:03of power for every day living. It's not just for the crisis
5:08moments, the emergency moments of life, the power of God is
5:12ours to draw on. Remember, it talks about, the Word says the
5:17Lord is the strength of our life. Notice this. It doesn't
5:21say the Lord just gives strength. He is the strength. Do
5:27you know that's a flow of power? Absolutely. It's the power of
5:31His strength. Amen. And so that strength that we have of His,
5:36that we're living off of His strength, not just human
5:39strength, we're living beyond what everyone else is living out
5:43of. We're invited to a higher strength. What is it? It's His.
5:47Well, it's the same thing with the power of God. We're not left
5:50to just human power, mental power, our own financial power,
5:54but there is a divine power and it's for everyday living. And we
5:59need to learn to draw on it all throughout the day that when we
6:02go to work, on the way to work, we say, Father, I thank you that
6:05your power meets me at that place of work and my work is
6:09carried out in your power. Amen. And things will change and
6:13things will be heightened. Things will be elevated. Things
6:17will be accelerated by His power. So don't just confine the
6:21power of God to emergency moments. It's to be a flow of
6:26our everyday life. Amen. But we have to draw on it, and really
6:31if we don't recognize that it's for our everyday life, we will
6:36just limit it to moments, emergency moments, tragedy
6:41moments, crisis moments, and absolutely the power of God can
6:46be felt there and do its work at those moments, but it's for all
6:51day long. Amen. If I could say this, what about conducting your
6:57marriage by the power of God? What about raising your children
7:01with the help of divine power that you don't wear out, that
7:06your kids don't wear you down, they try to wear you down and
7:12why? So that you'll start yielding to them, but we have a
7:17higher flow to draw on. Thank God for it. So we invite you, go
7:22back and watch previous episodes that you may have missed in this
7:25series because we've said so much about it. Hosea chapter 4
7:28and verse 6, God was speaking and He said, my people not the
7:34enemy, not those who aren't born again, not those without God,
7:39but my people, those with God on the inside of them, says my
7:44people. Those with God's power in them, those who belong in
7:49Christ, those with righteousness, those who have
7:53been made righteous because we belong to Jesus. He said, my
7:57people, all those with all of these benefits are destroyed.
8:01How can we be destroyed whenever we have the Greater One in us?
8:05Whenever we've been made the righteousness of God, how can we
8:09be destroyed with all the resources of heaven at our
8:13disposal? How can that happen? He tells us how, my people are
8:16destroyed, lack of knowledge. Lack of knowing what's in them,
8:20lack of knowing what's available to 'em. It's wrong for us to
8:24have, be the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, yet go through
8:28life in lack. That's wrong. Something's off. What is it?
8:32Lack of knowing something. So thank God we're all learning
8:36because we have to be taught these things. And I don't want
8:40the lack of knowledge to deprive me of the power that resides in
8:43me. I don't want lack of knowledge to hold me outside of
8:48the flow that God has authored for my life. So even though
8:52we're possessors of all of these things, the Greater One that's
8:57in us, the temple of the Holy Ghost, in the image of Christ,
9:04all that belongs to Christ belongs to us because we belong
9:08to Him. I don't want to live like that's not true. I want it
9:12to be apparently true to onlookers that others would say
9:17something's different about them. Amen. What will make the
9:22difference? What we know. What we know. And so this is why it's
9:28so important when we teach on these things, because if we
9:31don't know it, it won't benefit us. So we have to do our part to
9:36what God's provided. What's our part? Bring our believing. We
9:39have to know something. We have to draw on what's in us. Amen.
9:45And it's a joy. It's not a hardship, right? It is a joy.
9:50God has given us the power. Why? When we got born again, the
9:56nature of God came in us. The life of God came in us. That's
10:00the power of God. The Holy Ghost came in us. Amen. Greater is He
10:04that's in us than he that's in the world. So all that heaven,
10:08there's nothing heaven has that's been withheld from us
10:12except the location. One day we'll go to that location and
10:17dwell there. But actually by walking in the spirit, we can go
10:21there before we can live there, before we go there, God intends
10:28that we live in the flow of heaven before we even go to the
10:32location of heaven. Why? Because Jesus said, the kingdom of God's
10:36within you. What is the kingdom of God? Well, Paul said in
10:39Romans chapter 14, verse 17, the kingdom of God is not meat and
10:43drink, but it's righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy
10:47Ghost. Those are flows that are in us now. So what are we
10:51saying? That we should have the flow of the kingdom of God
10:54within us before we even arrive at the kingdom of heaven. Amen.
11:00One day we will go and dwell in the kingdom of heaven, a
11:05location of heaven. But until then, we're drawing on the flow
11:08of that kingdom in this earth. And this is what the Word was
11:12talking about when it said that you have days of heaven on
11:16earth. That means that we can live there before we go there.
11:20We can live out of the same flow that heaven's enjoying today,
11:25but we have to know some things. We have to know some things. And
11:28not only that, we have to join our faith to what we know. You
11:34can know that the Holy Ghost is on the inside. You can know that
11:38the power of God's on the inside, but it's faith that
11:40activates what's on the inside. So we not only have to know it,
11:44we have to know how to cooperate with it. The law of faith
11:48governs the power of God. Now, you have to remember that. We've
11:53talked about that in previous episodes. The law of faith
11:56governs the power of God. So we have to join our faith to that
12:00power that's resident in us or it will never flow. Even though
12:05it resides in us, can something of God be in us and it not flow?
12:09Will James talked about, he said that some people have dead
12:13faith. Faith is in them, but it's dead. What's that mean?
12:16It's not moving. It's got no movement in their life. What is
12:21that? The faith of God. Every believer has the faith of God on
12:25the inside of them. We want to make sure it's not a dead faith.
12:28It's a living faith. It's a growing faith. Amen. It's not a
12:34little faith. It can be a great faith. Jesus spoke to one lady
12:38and said, great is your faith. Then he said to His disciples,
12:41oh ye of little faith. So we have the faith of God in us.
12:46What are we doing with it? Is it a great faith? Is it a little
12:51faith? Is it a dead faith? That's up to us, not up to God.
12:56It's up to what we are doing with what we know, what we know
13:00of the Word. So we never are to tire of exercising faith in the
13:06power of God because it's the law of faith that governs the
13:10flow of God's power. So people say, I need the power of God in
13:13my life. How do I get the power of God flowing in my body, in my
13:17finances, in my mind, in my marriage, in my business? You
13:21have to join your faith to it. Well, Pastor Nancy, what does
13:24that mean? It means you believe the Word in your heart and then
13:27you speak it with your mouth. The law of faith is that you
13:31have to have faith that's in your heart, it has to come out
13:34of your mouth. And until you're saying something, the law of
13:37faith is not activated. Amen. Faith is in our heart, but it
13:42has to be in our mouth. Amen. What's that mean? I'm speaking
13:46what God does for me. And I say the power of God's flowing in my
13:49body today, the power of God's working in my finances. The
13:53power of God is drawing the right customers to my business.
13:56Amen. The power of God is bringing divine help to me.
14:03Amen. You have to say it. Say it. Say it. Say it. Say it. Why?
14:08Because that's giving God permission to manifest that
14:11power. God's the manifester of it, but the degree we say it is
14:17the degree it will be manifested. Little saying,
14:21little manifestation, much saying much manifestation, but
14:26we're not the manifester of the power. God is. But it's our
14:30saying that determines how much He can manifest in our behalf.
14:35The law of faith. The law of faith. It governs the power of
14:40God. Amen. Now, I want to bring out this phrase. I want to talk
14:45about assigning God's power because you can have the power
14:49of God. We are in dwelt with power. Remember what Paul said?
14:53That you would know the exceeding greatness of God's
14:57power to usward who believes. It's not usward who doubt,
15:03usward, who believe. It's not to us word who are ignorant. Now
15:07it's in us, but ignorant stops it from operating, but it's
15:11usward who believe. So believing has to be joined to the power
15:16that indwells us. So the power of God is present. It's present
15:23in us. It's present around us, but God has made us the stewards
15:29of his power. Now listen to that. God has made us the
15:33stewards of that power. Now, what does it mean to be a
15:38steward of something? It means it's within your authority. It's
15:42within your control to either use it or not use it. If you
15:49drive to a hotel or a nice restaurant and they have a valet
15:55service where they park your car for you, once you hand them
16:00those keys, they now become the steward of your car, not the
16:04owner. The steward meaning this, they can park it in a parking
16:09garage. They can park it in a parking lot, they can park it
16:13right up next to the entrance. They can move it, if it needs to
16:16be moved. They can go and collect it for you. They're
16:19stewarding something you own. The power of God, God owns it,
16:25but he's deposited to us making us stewards of it. Meaning this,
16:30just like a valet service can move the car when it's needed to
16:35be moved. If it's blocking another car, they can move it
16:38anytime they want. If something's blocking something
16:42of what God's provided for you, take power and move that thing,
16:47you are the steward of that power to employ it. And if I
16:52could say this, assign it to certain needs. Whether or not
16:56power is flowing doesn't depend on God. It depends on us. Why?
17:00He's already put it at our disposal. People that if we're
17:04not careful, sometimes the way we've been taught, we go, oh,
17:09no, no, no. It's all up to God. It's up to God in the sense He
17:13deposited it in us. He's the source of it, but He made us the
17:17stewards of it. And we are to be a blessing with that power.
17:22Amen. Bless our own lives, bless our own families, but bless
17:26others with that power. Amen. Not only must we mix faith with
17:33God's power, assign what we want that power to do for us,assign
17:39it. You know, I will tell in a congregation many times I'll go
17:44out and I'll bless the people in the sense I'll lay hands on 'em
17:47and the anointing of God will come on them. And many times
17:52you'll see 'em, they'll fall under the power, the presence of
17:57God. And I always tell 'em this, that didn't just happen, so you
18:00can feel something. It's here to do a work. That power, that
18:05anointing will do a work what you need it to do for you. So I
18:08would say when I lay hands on you, do you need it for healing?
18:11Then receive it. Release your faith. Father with that power, I
18:15receive my healing. Do you need it to maybe work something in
18:20your business? Say, Father, I believe for that power to go and
18:24work in the point of need in my business. See, assign. What are
18:28you believing that power to do for you? I so appreciate this
18:32because see, faith is specific. The more specific we are
18:39regarding our faith, the more results we get. The more general
18:44we are, the less results we get. Let me describe it this way. I
18:51don't know if you've ever heard of George Mueller or Mueller,
18:55however it's pronounced. But he was a man who started an
19:01orphanage in Bristol, England in the 1800's. At the time of his
19:06death, he was housing taken care of, believing God for the
19:11resources to take care of 2000 orphans. And over his lifetime,
19:1810,000 orphans that went through the doors of his orphanage, and
19:23he educated them, clothed them, trained them in professions in a
19:28life-changing testimony. If you ever are able to read of his
19:33autobiography or any biography on him, it'll be a blessing to
19:37you. But one of the things he talked about, he, it was a
19:41process before he was able to build enough facilities to house
19:472000 orphans plus it housed the workers. So you talk about some
19:52major buildings. He had an entire complex on acres and
19:58acres that have been built. And before he would build another
20:04building, he would seek God. He would make sure he's hearing
20:08from God. And he said this, he said he knew in his spirit that
20:14they were to build another building. So he said he believed
20:18God for the finances. He believed God for the right
20:21workers. He believed God for the building supplies. He believed
20:25God for the people to man the orphanage, the helpers. He
20:33believed God for the clothing. He believed God for the kitchen
20:39utensils. He believed God for the food, the stock that they
20:45would need to feed the children. And he said the entire thing was
20:49set and prepared to open, and on the day they opened, he said he
20:53realized, he left out one thing. He had forgotten to believe God
20:57for the orphans. And he said, I just assumed they would be
21:04there. See what we assume we're going to lag behind in. It's
21:09what we have faith for. It's what we release our faith for.
21:14And he said, I had used my faith for every specific need. Can I
21:18tell you how important that is? That you be specific in
21:22assigning the power of God. Don't just say, oh God, I thank
21:24you for everything. Be specific. What everything? Do you know
21:30that God was specific at creation? He didn't just say
21:34everything, get there. He didn't do that. Day by day He spoke,
21:41every day He spoke what was to manifest that day. Why? Because
21:46it gave the Holy Ghost His assignment of what the Holy
21:51Spirit would manifest. God spoke the Words and the Holy Spirit
21:56moved and manifested. Remember it says in Genesis 1 that God
22:00said, let there be light. And it said the spirit of God was
22:03moving up on the face of the deep. I like what the Amplified,
22:06I think it's Amplified Classic translation that said the Holy
22:09Spirit was hovering over the face of the deep. What's that
22:12mean? He was ready to be assigned. He was waiting for
22:17words. He was waiting for words to direct His movement. So when
22:22God said, let there be light, now the Holy Spirit knew what to
22:25perform. That's why we had to be specific with the power of God.
22:31We don't just say, thank you for your power. Well, what do you
22:34want it to do for you? Well, I need it to heal my body. What do
22:37you want it to do in your body? Amen. Thank you Father for,
22:43thank you Father for it working in my shoulder. Amen. So George
22:49Mueller recognized I left off calling for the orphans. He
22:53said, but I've got my faith on that. In a few short days, the
22:57orphans came and filled up the building. What was that? Be
22:59specific. Now, when I say be specific, sometimes we know what
23:05we need the power of God to work on. Other times we are not sure
23:11what all needs to be addressed. You know what I'm, let me
23:16explain it this way. Remember when God told Joshua, after
23:20Moses died, He gave Joshua his assignment. Joshua chapter 1,
23:25verse 8, this book of the law, Joshua shall not depart out of
23:28your mouth, but you shall meditate therein day and night.
23:31So that you may observe to do according to all that's written
23:33therein. For then you shall make your way prosperous. Then you
23:37shall have good success. There the law of success is laid out.
23:42The law of success is what? Meditate on the Word. Get it in
23:46you, get it in your mouth and then speak it. Do it. That's the
23:51law of success. So this is what Joshua did. When they are faced
23:57with an enemy, they are endeavoring to take land. During
24:01the daytime God's people, when they were fighting these enemy
24:07nations, they were, if I could say this, leading in the battle
24:11during the daytime, but when it started to go dark, they knew we
24:18were going to lose advantage. Why is that? Because those
24:22people that they were, if I could say this defeating and
24:26throwing out of the land, those people for generations had lived
24:30in the land. They knew the hiding places. They knew how to
24:32gain the advantage by using the land. This was new land to God's
24:37people. They didn't know the land the same way. So they know
24:41we've got to keep the advantage. As long, if it goes dark, we
24:45don't see the land. We don't see the advantages the land gives
24:49us. So he said this, we're fighting God's people were
24:57winning at that point, but Joshua knew if the sun goes
25:01down, they lose advantage. So Joshua right in the midst of the
25:06battle, said, sun, you stay there, moon, you stay there. And
25:12it stopped the orbit of the whole universe stopped. Now,
25:21because you can't just stop the sun and the moon and let
25:23everything else keep going, then the course of everything gets
25:27off. I don't know if Joseph knew, I mean, if Joshua knew
25:30about Mars, I don't know if he knew about Saturn and Jupiter.
25:36He didn't talk to all those. He only knew Sun and Moon. Why?
25:40That's what he was acquainted with, when he spoke to what he
25:44knew, what he didn't know God dealt with. But God expects us
25:50to speak to everything we know. And if there's something we
25:54don't know, then His power will make up the difference, but we
25:58can't be negligent on what we do know. He didn't just say
26:04everything stopped. He said, what I do know is a sun needs to
26:08stay, the moon needs to stay, but it stopped the orbit of the
26:11whole universe assigning the power of God. That's what he
26:19did. Amen. Well, we're learning aren't we? We are teaching out
26:24of my book called "The Greatness of God's Power." We want you to
26:27get it, study along with it, get this rooted in your heart. It
26:32needs to dawn on you on the inside of you. Amen. So you can
