0:13and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one
0:17that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room,
0:21you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power
0:26is present. That power is there to do a work. Believe in what's
0:31present, not trying to get something, but notice that he's
0:34already made it yours. It's present right where you're at.

0:53NANCY: Welcome. We are so glad to have you with us today.
0:55For Jesus the healer. Come on in. We saved you a seat.
0:58And it's a good seat because it's a seat
1:00around the word. And we say this, bring your faith, release
1:05your faith. The doer it we're blessed to hear, but it's the
1:09doer that's really blessed. Amen. So we're not just
1:14gathering up info, we're learning how to better do, our
1:19part. Amen. We began teaching on the previous episode about
1:25following the Holy Spirit. My, my, my to think of this. That we
1:29have the divine genius on the inside of us. Why in the world
1:34would we flip to our natural minds when we could draw on the
1:38divine genius? Why would we, why would we get entrenched in the
1:42circumstances that surround us in life when we can live at the
1:46guidance of the divine genius? Amen. No use being led by
1:51circumstance when the divine genius offers himself. Amen.
1:55It's not about getting God to lead us. It's about learning to
2:02turn toward the divine genius, letting him know he's welcome.
2:06Amen. Welcome, here welcome to lead us and welcome into the
2:11daily situations of our life. He will not force himself in. So
2:16the more we turn toward him and give him attention, the more he
2:20will make his genius known to us. Amen. Why? He takes the
2:26wisdom of God and he knows the mind of God. He knows the will
2:30of God for our situation, and he speaks to us from God's mind.
2:34Amen. We need it. I said we need it. And so thank God He is the
2:41indwelling one and greater is he that's in us than he that's in
2:46the world. Amen. The Spirit of God is endeavoring to lead every
2:51single one of us. But many people don't know that. So
2:55therefore, they don't know to give him the place and the
2:59attention. They don't even know many times until we're taught.
3:02We don't know how to recognize how he leads what his leading
3:07looks like. So we're going to be taking the next several
3:10episodes. Who knows? It could be weeks, it could be months,
3:13however long it takes till we get said what, what we want
3:18said. But the Holy Spirit will lead us into the word he'll lead
3:22us into revelation. He'll lead us into the answers for our
3:26life. The better we follow, the more we're gonna experience of
3:30God's best. Amen. Dad Hagin, who is our spiritual father, made
3:35this statement to us often. And he would say, if you can teach
3:38people to follow their spirits, you can help them in every arena
3:43of life. Now, see, if we're gonna follow our mind, our mind
3:46will help us into failure. If we're gonna follow our feelings,
3:50that can help us into failure. But if we'll learn to follow our
3:54spirit where the Holy Spirit dwells, then now we're tapping
3:59into a divine flow. Amen. I don't know about you, but I want
4:04help in every arena of life. Not only that, I want it 24 hours a
4:08day at my disposal. I don't just want divine help when I'm
4:12sitting in a church service. Divine help comes then, but it's
4:16our help isn't limited to a church service. We have the Holy
4:20Spirit who dwells within. He abides in us. Why? Well, number
4:25one, we can't misplace him because he's inside. He is not
4:30out here where we misplace, and say I don't know where my help
4:33went. No. He's in us. But not only that, we have him 24 hours
4:37a day. And the more we turn to him, the more he'll be able to
4:40help us. Amen. If we ignore him and we ignore his help, he will
4:46not force his way into the flow of our life. All he needs is our
4:52cooperation. Our turning toward him is us inviting his input.
5:00Amen. There's nothing that really, if I could say this,
5:06can, can be less welcome than someone who gives counsel
5:11without invitation. Right? I mean, have you, have you ever
5:15been in a setting and somebody just, well, I'll tell you what
5:17y'all need to do. You need to do this? You need to do that. You
5:19need to do this. And every time you see them, this is what you
5:21need to, it is like, maybe I'll, maybe I'll move my plate down
5:25here and sit down at the other end. Why? Because, unwelcome
5:29input, is unwelcome. Right? But that's not the Holy Spirit. His
5:35input is to always be welcome, but he will not offer it in an
5:39unwelcoming setting. Meaning this, we have to say, we want
5:44your input. We want your you to lead. We want your, you are a
5:49lead, you are a guide. You are a teacher, you are a helper. But
5:52we want it. Amen. We invite you. And the more attention we give
5:58him, the more we'll be a partaker of what he brings to
6:02us. Amen. He's the divine genius within. It would behoove us to
6:08listen to him. Amen. As we take time to feed on the word and to
6:16pray in other tongues speaking in the Spirit. Our Spirit will
6:21become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit who's in us. Now
6:25listen to that. That is key. If people, if we're not going to
6:29be, faithful toward the Word to feed on the Word, if we're not
6:33going to, take time to pray in the Spirit, we're not going to
6:40develop the sensitivity to the spirit that we could have. So we
6:45determine how sensitive we are to him, not him. We're the ones
6:50who determine that. We know him by spending time in communion
6:58with him. Listening to him. It needs to matter to us that we
7:05don't grieve him. That he's pleased by us inviting his
7:14input. You know, my husband and I, our, when we got together, we
7:19were married almost 30 years, and, when we got married, we
7:23didn't know each other that well. It was a very unusual set
7:28up, and one, we don't urge you to try to repeat or imitate. It
7:34worked for us because it was God's way for us. But it
7:39happened very quickly within weeks from the time we met to
7:43the time we married. But of course, God dealt with us in a,
7:49if I could say this a more dramatic way, that we knew it
7:53was the plan of God. But I knew him far better after the first
8:00year than I did when I met him. I knew him far better five years
8:04later into the marriage. 10 years. Early on in the marriage,
8:09we were more verbal in the sense of communicating to each other
8:13what our likes or dislikes or what we meant. Explaining
8:18ourselves to each other. But there came a time when I go, I,
8:21I understand the way he thinks. I know where he's going with
8:24this conversation. For example, if we were out to dinner with
8:28people and somebody said something, and asked him a
8:32question early on, I didn't know what his response would be
8:35toward that question. But if I heard him answer the same
8:39question 10 years later before he even started the
8:41conversation, I knew where he was headed. Because I was
8:44acquainted with how he answered things. Same thing with the Holy
8:48Spirit. Not that we're second guessing him, but we can learn
8:52him. We can know all I I recognize the Holy Spirit
8:57because he would flow this way and I recognize what isn't the
9:00Holy Spirit, cause he would never flow this way. So we need
9:03to become acquainted with his ways. I said, become acquainted
9:07with his ways as we take time to feed on the word. And as we take
9:13time to pray in the Spirit, we, our own spirit becomes more
9:18sensitive to the divine genius in us. Now, when I, when I talk
9:24about praying in the Spirit, to receive the greatest help and
9:30benefit of praying in the spirit, quiet your mind. Focus
9:36on your spirit while you're praying in the spirit. Because
9:42if you don't develop that discipline, you can pray in the
9:47spirit and your mind is active on other things. And when the
9:51Holy Spirit's trying to communicate something from your
9:54spirit to your mind, you'll miss it, if your mind is active. So
9:58when you take time to pray in the Spirit, quiet the mind. Put
10:03it in neutral. Take it off the business affairs of the day and
10:07turn toward your spirit. Why? Because you know things in your
10:11spirit that really haven't even enlightened your mind yet. God
10:14does not speak to your mind. He speaks to your spirit. He's a
10:18spirit. He's going to speak to you through your spirit. But
10:21once he's communicated something to your spirit, your mind needs
10:26to catch that. Your mind needs to receive that light. If I
10:30could say this, what he says to you floats up from your spirit
10:34and enlightened your mind. You go, oh, now I know what to do.
10:36You see? But if our mind is busy, occupied, thinking just
10:42the thoughts of the day, because you can pray in the spirit and
10:47let your mind think something else. Why? Because the words
10:50you're speaking when you pray in the Spirit didn't come from your
10:53mind. They bypassed your mind. The Bible tells us that when we
11:00pray in the spirit, our understanding, our mind's
11:02unfruitful. What's it mean? It did not involve our mind, it
11:05bypassed our mind. You can pray in the spirit and be thinking
11:10about something else. That's not going to be to our greatest
11:15advantage. It's fine, like when you're driving down the car,
11:19driving in your car down the road and you're praying in other
11:22tongues, fellowshipping with God, and I hope you're thinking
11:25about your driving, right? You don't wanna check out at that
11:29moment, but what's that? You are just edifying yourself. Praying
11:33in other tongues, but when you need to hear an answer for a
11:37situation you're facing. You're going to have to make sure that
11:42you quiet your mind, so that you can hear. Let me say it this
11:47way. If I fill up my hands with stuff, I fill up my hands and
11:53somebody wants to hand me something. Uh, sorry, my hands
11:57are full. Right. If the Holy Spirit wants to hand you the
12:03knowledge of what God is leading you to do, but your mind is
12:07already full. It's already occupied with something else.
12:11You're gonna miss what he's trying to hand you. You're gonna
12:15miss what he's trying to pass to you. So you can pray in the
12:20spirit and edify yourself, but when you're needing an answer,
12:22when you're needing clarity, when you're needing direction,
12:25you're going to have to quiet your mind. And don't get in the
12:29bad habit of letting the mind race while you're praying in the
12:34spirit. That's a bad, that's a bad mental habit. And we have to
12:39practice quieting that mind. The best way to quiet your mind is
12:43focus on your spirit. What are, what are you sensing in your
12:46spirit? Amen. Or focus on the Lord Jesus. But I'm just saying
12:51this quiet that mind from its own natural activity. Let me
12:58tell you of a time when this was so important to me. After my
13:04husband went home to be with the Lord, there were eight major
13:07projects that he had started that needed to be completed. He
13:12had been working for about five years to get them completed. He
13:15had gotten them partially done, but they, they needed to be
13:18finished. Two of them were to finish the construction on
13:23buildings. So I'm talking about major projects. I needed a large
13:29sum of money to finish one of those projects. And there were,
13:34if I could say this one project was connected to another, so if
13:38I faltered on one project, it would have been a domino effect
13:42right down the road. So I, there is, there was no room for
13:47faltering. I could, there was, failure was not an option. We
13:53don't ever treat failure like it's an option. But I'm saying
13:55it was critical that I, I made the right steps. So I had
14:00received a phone call, a communication said by tomorrow
14:04we need to know where you're getting $400,000. Well, if I
14:12knew that that building would've already been finished, right?
14:16And so I thought, well, I looked in my purse a few minutes ago
14:19and I didn't see it. If somebody want to pass me their purse,
14:24I'll look through that too. But when, when that was put out
14:28there by, by tomorrow, we need to know where you're gonna get
14:32$400,000. I could look all night in the catalog of my mind. And
14:39not find the right page for that answer. If I knew it would've
14:43already been done. If you've, if you've tried to figure it out in
14:48five minutes and can't figure it out, probably your mind doesn't
14:50know it. Just realize that, I'm gonna have to look somewhere
14:54else for this answer because it's not living here in my mind.
14:57I'm gonna have to look somewhere else where that answer lives.
15:00And the thing I know about God is that nothing catches him off
15:05guard. When the people contacted me and said, by tomorrow we need
15:10to know where you're gonna get $400,000. That was news to me.
15:13But it wasn't news to God. He already had the answer prepared.
15:18Amen. So I approached that need as though God's already got the
15:23answer for this. All I need to do is hear what he knows. That's
15:28all I need. He's got a plan for this. I just need to hear the
15:31plan. That's all I need. I don't need to form the plan, I don't
15:35need to panic about the plan. I don't need to call 14 people and
15:38see if they got a plan. I need to hear the plan. That's all I
15:43need. It's already formulated. It's already already prepared
15:48and waiting for me to turn to it. To acknowledge it, to invite
15:53that plan. So I received that communication. I was, I was in
16:00another state. I was on the road preaching. I had to go preach
16:04that night, probably about 30 minutes before I had to go
16:07preach. I got that communication. We need to know
16:09by tomorrow where you're getting $400,000. Well, I don't have
16:12time, but it is right now. I don't have time. I gotta go
16:16preach. So I went and preached. I came back and I was, I was
16:20ready to go to bed and I laid down and go, oh, they wanna
16:24know. They wanna know where that's gonna come from. Well, I,
16:31I need to be able to come up with an answer. It's not up
16:36here. So as I laid on the bed, I said to God, I said, God, I
16:41don't know where that money is, but you've already prepared it.
16:43You know where it's at. You know where it's at. So I'm not gonna
16:48pray trying to get you to prepare that money. It's already
16:53prepared. I pray about moving into what you know. Listen, when
17:02you pray is not when God starts working. He already planned it
17:06before you prayed. When you pray is when you release your faith,
17:10inviting him to provide what he already planned into your need.
17:15But your praying doesn't get him on the, on the job. He already
17:20had it planned. He already had it prepared and planned. So when
17:23you approach it that way, it removes all the, all the
17:28struggle. God, you've already got a plan. All I've got to do
17:31is hear the plan. And you know what? The Holy Spirit is the
17:35great greater one in me, leading me into the plan. All I have to
17:40do is hear what he says. So this is what I said, just a few
17:45moments, Father, you know where the money is. You know how for
17:49me to access that money? I don't know where it is, but you do. So
17:53I'm going to lay here and pray in the Spirit until what you
17:58know becomes what I know. Until what you say floats up and
18:05enlightens my mind. So I'm just laying there praying in the
18:09spirit. I was not laying there trying to figure out where I
18:14could get $400,000. You get that? I was quieting my mind. If
18:20I prayed in the spirit, but I'm not quieting my mind. My, I'm
18:23gonna miss hearing what the spirit's gonna try to
18:26communicate to my knowledge, to my mind. So I quieted. See, that
18:34was key to hearing was quieting. So I turned toward my spirit and
18:39I focused on my spirit. Because when you pray in the spirit, you
18:42should sense a bubbling up, so to speak. You should sense the
18:46movement of that life on the inside of you. Amen. The life of
18:51God, the ability of God, the movement of the Holy God. You
18:55should sense the greater one within. Focus on that instead of
18:59focusing on what's opposing you. So I laid there and just prayed
19:03in the Spirit for about 10 minutes. Mind quiet. I was not
19:08trying to figure out my answer. That's so key. After about 10
19:13minutes, all of a sudden floated from here. It didn't come from
19:18outside here against my mind. It came from within floating up to
19:23my mind. Like I said, God doesn't speak to your mind. He
19:26speaks to your spirit. And as you turn toward your spirit,
19:30then your spirit enlightens your mind. So here I'm praying in the
19:35Holy Ghost in other tongues. And as I'm praying it was, I, I
19:40don't know how to say it other than it was like a bubble
19:42floated up. And in that was the knowledge. I knew exactly what
19:47to do. Knew exactly what, what what to, what step to take. And
19:55I did exactly what God said, and it worked out exactly the way
19:58God said it. See, it wasn't me forming a plan. It was me
20:01hearing what he had already planned. That came by following
20:06the Holy Spirit, recognizing his role in that. And my role, my
20:11role is not to form it. My role is to hear it. He's planned it.
20:17The Holy Spirit takes the mind of God and imparts that into
20:23your spirit. So the more you pray in the Holy Spirit, the
20:28more sensitive you are to what the Spirit is communicating to
20:32your spirit. Because your spirit minded instead of natural mind
20:36minded. You're not mindful of circumstances, you're not
20:41mindful of situations and pressure. When I received that
20:46communication that by tomorrow we need to know where you're
20:49getting $400,000. Did pressure try to come? Sure did. But you
20:54know what I said, that's not my pressure. You're not taking with
20:57those words and and transmitting pressure to me. I choose, if I
21:03open the door to pressure and I say no. Just because pressure
21:06comes doesn't mean I have to open the door to it. You have to
21:13practice this. You won't get there overnight. But I'll tell
21:17you what, you can start today. And as you start today, practice
21:23on the unimportant things of life. Because God will use the
21:29unimportant to train you for the important. I remember years ago
21:36when, my husband and I hadn't been married very long, and I
21:41would be out buying furniture. I remember one time in particular,
21:45we needed a, we needed a sofa. I had the money for a sofa. I
21:51walked into a store, I found a sofa I wanted. I got ready to go
21:55buy it. And on the inside of me, I had a sense, that's not it.
21:58Don't do that. And I thought, it's a sofa. It's not a
22:05life-changing decision. It's not gonna alter the course of my
22:11life. Right? But I recognized the spirit of God said, don't do
22:16that. So I walked away. Because you can reason and say, I need a
22:22couch, I need a sofa, I need it today. I got the money. Why
22:26can't I get it? The Holy Spirit was not trying to deprive me of
22:30a sofa. He was training me to follow him. He was using the
22:35unimportant to train me on so that when the important came, I
22:41recognized, ah, that's the spirit. But if I'm not gonna
22:45follow him on the unimportant, I won't follow him. I won't be
22:49skillful enough to follow him on the important. Does that make
22:53sense? How many times we have sensed the spirit of God say, to
22:58do something or not do something, you go, but that's no
23:00big deal, and you just override that. That's lack of skill. And
23:05you say, but it's not that big of a deal. No, the event might
23:08not have been that big of a deal, but the training is huge.
23:11The training, the preparation is a big deal. Amen. If you take a
23:22child that you're taking them to learn swimming lessons, they're
23:27gonna learn and, you know, they're gonna stay in the kiddie
23:32end where they can touch, right. Well, maybe when they start. You
23:36see the deep end, and they go, I don't wanna go to the deep end.
23:38I don't wanna go to the deep end. Well, baby, nobody's thrown
23:40you in the deep end. Get down here where you can touch. The
23:44Holy Spirit is going to train you in a way where it's easy for
23:48you to recognize. He's not gonna train you in the deep end. And,
23:53and you try to show a child, how to float. And that, you know,
23:59you just lay back and you let the water support you. If you
24:02struggle against the water, you start sinking. But if you relax
24:06on that water, it supports you. And they say, I'm not trying to
24:11learn how to float. I'm trying to learn how to swim. Yes, baby.
24:13But there's gonna come a time when you're swimming, you're
24:15gonna need to know how to float. So we're not training you just
24:18for right today, we're training you for down the road. Maybe
24:21you're out in the ocean somewhere and you get stranded,
24:25you get carried out a little further and you get, you, you,
24:28you get tired. You may need to know how to float for a little
24:30bit. You see, you don't know what's ahead that we're training
24:34you for. The Holy Ghost is the same way. If he's training you
24:38on something that doesn't seem to matter, it might not matter
24:40to that situation, but it matters to your future. It
24:44matters to where you're headed. So take and allow the Holy
24:49Spirit, because when you need to know what is the spirit of God
24:53saying to you in the face of a physical need. Maybe the doctors
24:57are saying, you need this procedure done on you. You need
25:01to know what is the spirit of God saying to me? Not just what
25:04do I want in this situation. But what is the spirit saying to me?
25:09Because he will have something to say to you in every situation
25:15of life, so that you know what the highest flow is for you in
25:19that situation. Amen. So don't treat lightly the training. No,
25:26you won't get there overnight. Will you make mistakes?
25:29Probably. That's why he trains us on the unimportant where it's
25:33not going to take your life off course. But if we'll be good
25:37students on that, the daily things of life, practice turning
25:42toward the Holy Spirit on the daily things of life. And you'll
25:46get to the point to where it's not long periods of prayer that
25:50helps you hear. It's in a moment you'll recognize, oh, he's
25:53leading me this way or a moment you'll recognize, oh, no, don't
25:56do that. That his, his his leading doesn't have to be
26:00labored over. Because it, we can come to such a place of
26:06sensitivity and being acquainted with him that in a moment we'll
26:10know exactly what to do because not every situation gives you
26:13hours to go pray. You need to know in a moment what decision
26:18to make. Amen. Well, these are some of the things that we're

26:29we learn to follow the greater one. It, it was, it doesn't
26:33benefit us the same to have the greater one in us if he, if we
