0:00Whis accidentally erases every angel in
0:01the multiverse. [music]
0:02It happens on Beerus's planet without
0:04warning. Whis is sitting beside Beerus
0:05when his staff slips from his hand and
0:07hits the ground. The moment it does,
0:09every angel across the 12 universes
0:10[music] vanishes. Beerus immediately
0:12demands an explanation, but Whis doesn't
0:13answer. He stares at the broken screen
0:15on his staff. A single message is
0:16appearing on it. Angels zero. Beerus
0:18asks [music] whether Zeno erased them,
0:20but Whis shakes his head. If Zeno had
0:21erased them, I would have felt it.
0:23Suddenly, the Grand Priest appears. He
0:24looks at Whis and at the staff and
0:26orders Beerus to stay on the planet.
0:27Whis refuses. He tells Beerus [music]
0:29that if every angel vanished at exactly
0:30the same moment, then someone must have
0:32reached something that connects them
0:33all. The Grand Priest uses his staff to
0:35trace the disturbance [music] and
0:35discovers a signal coming from Universe
0:376. Beerus immediately travels there with
0:39Whis. They find Champa's planet
0:40completely empty. Champa is gone, too,
0:42but his destroyer [music] symbol is
0:43still glowing on the ground. Whis
0:44touches it and sees a brief image.
0:46Champa standing before a massive black
0:47door staring [music] at someone on the
0:49other side. The image ends with Champa
0:50saying, "You promised the angels would
0:52never know." Beerus looks at Whis. "Know
0:53what?" Before Whis can answer, [music]
0:55the black door appears in front of them.
0:56It opens by itself. Inside is Champa,
0:58alive but unconscious, [music]
0:59surrounded by the staffs of every angel.
1:01Beerus reaches for one, but Whis stops
1:02him. Every staff suddenly points toward
1:04the same person, Whis. He freezes. The
1:06Grand Priest's voice [music] comes
1:07through the staffs. Whis, do not enter
1:08that chamber. Whis looks at Beerus and
1:10finally admits he knows what is inside.
1:12Years ago, the angels discovered [music]
1:13a forbidden place where their power
1:15originated. They sealed it because
1:16something inside could command every
1:17angel simultaneously, but now the seal
1:19is gone. The chamber suddenly begins
1:21shaking. [music] Whis looks toward the
1:22chamber and whispers, "It has chosen a
1:23new angel."
