0:17to clean the heavily polluted Achnalar

0:21he has captured global attention
0:23following viral recognition on the
0:25internet for his work.
0:28When he initiated the clean-up drive
0:30entirely by himself on 26th of January,
0:33the Republic Day, focusing on clearing
0:35plastics, debris, and stubborn waste to
0:38combat water pollution. As a lone
0:40student, he spent his own savings and
0:43spent 3 months to reverse years of
0:45ecological neglect on the Achnalar
0:48River.
0:49Proving that individual action can spark
0:51systemic change. When critics accused
0:54him online of chasing viral clout rather
0:57than doing real work, he responded with
1:00detailed video evidence showcasing the
1:02exhausting 3-month physical labor
1:05required to restore each ghat.

1:17It was a challenge for me. I had to
1:19battle with infestation of snakes. I
1:22even got ill during this time. I have
1:24got infection and itching in my body.
1:29There were a lot of challenges. People
1:31even mocked me. I just wanted to show
1:33the power of one person.

1:41caught the eye of the local municipal
1:43corporation, which stepped in to support
1:45his mission after seeing his dedication.
