0:00Vegeta rejects Ultra Ego and Beerus
0:02immediately stops training him. The news
0:03spreads across Universe 7 within
0:05minutes. Goku can't believe it. After
0:07spending years chasing the power of
0:08destruction, Vegeta calmly removes the
0:10destroyer earring Beerus had given him
0:11and places it on the ground. Beerus asks
0:13only one question. Are you giving up?
0:14Vegeta answers, "No, I'm done borrowing
0:16someone else's strength." Beerus turns
0:17[music] away declaring the training
0:19finished forever. Days later, Black
0:20Frieza attacks Earth again. Goku
0:21unleashes Ultra Instinct. [music] Broly
0:23loses control. Even Gohan joins the
0:25battle. Vegeta doesn't transform at all.
0:27Frieza laughs convinced Vegeta has
0:28become the weakest Saiyan again. He
0:30fires [music] a massive attack directly
0:31at Bulma. Instead of dodging, Vegeta
0:33steps in front of it. The explosion
0:34shakes the planet, but when the smoke
0:36clears, Vegeta [music] is still
0:37standing. There is no purple aura, no
0:39Ultra Ego, no divine energy. Every
0:41injury remains on his body, yet he
0:42hasn't moved an inch. Beerus suddenly
0:43[music] stands up from his planet.
0:45Impossible. Whis quietly smiles. He
0:47finally understood. Goku asks what
0:49Vegeta [music] did. Whis explains that
0:50Ultra Ego grows through accepting
0:51damage, but Vegeta has reached something
0:53entirely different. Frieza attacks with
0:55everything he has, yet Vegeta walks
0:56[music] straight through the blast and
0:58lands a single punch that drops Frieza
1:00to one knee. Beerus silently picks up
1:01the abandoned destroyer earring, then
1:03closes his hand and crushes [music] it
1:04into dust. Looking at Vegeta, he quietly
1:06says, "You were never meant to become
1:08the next God of Destruction."
