0:00Piccolo takes a blast meant for Gohan,
0:01and his arm should regrow in seconds
0:03like it always does. But instead,
0:04nothing happens, and everyone watches in
0:06horror as a second heartbeat starts
0:07pounding inside his chest, one that
0:09isn't his. Vegeta demands to know what's
0:11wrong with him, and Piccolo, gasping,
0:12says this hasn't happened since he was
0:14born, [music] not since the day King
0:15Piccolo split himself into good and evil
0:17to survive. Before anyone can react, a
0:18pod of green Namekian flesh tears itself
0:20out through Piccolo's back [music] and
0:21hits the ground, pulsing. Dende rushes
0:23over, terrified, and explains that
0:25Namekians only split under one
0:26condition, when the personalities fused
0:27inside them grow too many to share one
0:29body. And Piccolo has three: Piccolo,
0:31the original Demon King's son; Nail, the
0:33warrior he absorbed on Namek; and Kami,
0:35the guardian he fused with years ago to
0:36fight Cell. [music] For years, they've
0:38shared one body peacefully, but the
0:39blast damaged whatever was keeping them
0:41balanced, and now his body is trying to
0:42separate all three by force. Gohan
0:44[music] begs Dende to stop it, but Dende
0:46says a Namekian split can't be reversed
0:47once it starts, and if it finishes
0:49wrong, only one of the three
0:50personalities [music] survives inside
0:51Piccolo, and the other two vanish. The
0:53pod on the ground cracks open, and a
0:54hand reaches out first, pale green,
0:56[music] young. Dende leans closer to
0:57listen for the newborn Namekian's first
0:59words. And this one whispers a name
1:00[music] none of them recognize.
