0:00Vegeta steps [music] forward, his voice
0:01cutting through the chaos with three
0:03words that change everything. I will do
0:05it. Everyone freezes, and Vegeta repeats
0:07himself, his energy [music] spiking as
0:08he stares down the Grand Priest. Make me
0:10the God of Destruction. Take Chakra out
0:12of the equation. Daishinkan's expression
0:13shifts [music] to something almost like
0:14surprise, and he tells Vegeta that once
0:16the transformation begins, there is no
0:18reversal. He will outlive everyone he
0:19knows. Watch Bulma age and die. Watch
0:21Trunks fade into history, and he will
0:23not be allowed to grieve because [music]
0:24gods do not grieve. Vegeta's fists
0:25clench, but his voice does not waver. I
0:27know what I'm trading. Now, do [music]
0:28it before I change my mind. Bulma runs
0:30to him, grabbing his arm, tears
0:31streaming as she begs him to stop, to
0:33think about their family. And Vegeta
0:34cups her face with a gentleness that
0:36breaks her heart [music] as he tells her
0:37that this is the only way he knows how
0:38to protect them. Goku tries to argue,
0:40but Vegeta cuts him [music] off. You
0:41have saved the universe a dozen times.
0:43Let me save it once. The divine energy
0:44shifts, flowing away from [music] Goku
0:46and toward Vegeta, and the Saiyan Prince
0:48screams as his body begins to transform,
0:50his hair turning silver white, his eyes
0:51glowing with destructive power. [music]
0:53And he looks at Bulma one last time,
0:54then Beerus's hand shoots up, grabbing
0:56Vegeta's ankle, his voice weak. Stop,
0:57Vegeta. There's a third option, but it
0:58will cost more than either of you want.
