0:00Chi-Chi's body starts aging rapidly in
0:01front of Goku's eyes, her skin
0:03wrinkling, [music] her hair turning
0:04white, her hands shaking as she reaches
0:05for him and whispers that she can feel
0:07her life being drained [music] away. And
0:08Goku catches her as she collapses,
0:10screaming for help, but no one comes
0:11because this is not an attack he can
0:12fight. Gohan bursts through the door and
0:14freezes as he watches his mother crumble
0:16to dust [music] in his father's arms.
0:17And the last thing she says before she
0:18disappears completely is not a goodbye,
0:20just five words that destroy Goku from
0:22the inside. This is your fault, [music]
0:23too. Goku sits there holding nothing,
0:25staring at the empty space where his
0:26wife just was. And Gohan does not
0:28[music] cry, does not rage. He just
0:29looks at his father with an expression
0:31so cold it feels like a stranger wearing
0:32[music] his son's face. And he turns and
0:34walks away without a single word. Whis
0:36arrives too late, his face pale. And he
0:37tells Goku that Chi-Chi [music] was not
0:39killed, she was retconned, erased
0:40backward through time so that every
0:41moment she ever lived with him is being
0:43unmade. And soon no one will remember
0:44she existed [music] except Goku, who
0:46will carry the memory of a wife the
0:47universe insists he never had. Vegeta
0:49finds Goku an hour later, still sitting
0:50in the same spot, staring at his empty
0:52hands. And for the first time in [music]
0:53their entire history, Vegeta does not
0:55know what to say because he can see it
0:57in Goku's eyes. Something fundamental is
0:58broken.
