0:07ceiling and a voice behind him whispers
0:08that he's been dead for 3 years while
0:10something else wore his face on Earth.
0:12King Yemma appears through the smoke
0:13explaining in a shaking voice that the
0:15real Goku died fighting Moro that
0:17everything since then has been a
0:18shapeshifter named Kova living his life,
0:20fighting his battles, sleeping beside
0:21Chi-Chi while Goku rotted in the cell.
0:23Goku thrashes against the chains
0:24demanding to know why no one noticed,
0:26why Vegeta didn't sense the difference
0:27and Yemma reveals that Kova doesn't just
0:29copy appearance souls perfectly
0:31replicating energy signatures meaning

0:33real Goku. Chains suddenly release and
0:35Goku drops to the floor as a portal

0:45Yemma tells him the portal is one way
0:46that he can go back but the moment he
0:47arrives Kova will sense him and the real
0:49battle begins and whoever wins gets to
0:51keep existing while the other gets
0:52erased from everyone's memory
0:54permanently. Goku steps toward the
0:55portal but freezes when he sees
0:56something that stops his heart. Kova's
0:58hand resting on Chi-Chi Chi-Chi's
0:59wedding ring.
