0:00Beerus suddenly loses all of his
0:01memories, and Whis realizes the
0:02multiverse is in danger. One morning,
0:04Beerus wakes up on his planet and stares
0:06at Whis in confusion. He doesn't
0:07recognize him. At first, [music] Whis
0:08assumes he's joking, but Beerus doesn't
0:10remember Goku, Vegeta, the gods of
0:12destruction, or even his own name.
0:13Before Whis can investigate, [music] a
0:14message arrives from the Grand Priest.
0:16To his shock, the same thing is
0:17happening across every universe. [music]
0:19Every God of Destruction has completely
0:20forgotten who they are. The Grand Priest
0:22quickly gathers all the Destroyers and
0:23discovers something even stranger. None
0:25of their memories were erased, they were
0:26stolen. Whis uses his staff [music] to
0:28track the missing memories and finds a
0:30mysterious energy moving through the
0:31World of Void. Beerus grows impatient
0:32[music] and follows the energy himself.
0:34When he arrives, he freezes in shock.
0:36Floating in the void is a giant crystal
0:37containing thousands [music] of glowing
0:39memories. Every battle, every decision,
0:41and every destruction performed by the
0:42Gods of Destruction has been stored
0:43inside it. Suddenly, the crystal [music]
0:45begins cracking. Fragments scatter
0:46across reality, and anyone who touches
0:48them instantly gains the memories
0:49inside. Panic spreads as entire
0:51civilizations gain access to information
0:52they were never meant to know. [music]
0:53Meanwhile, Vegeta accidentally touches
0:55one of Beerus's memory fragments and
0:57sees something impossible. Long before
0:58becoming [music] a God of Destruction,
0:59Beerus was a mortal warrior. But, in the
1:01memory, Beerus is fighting alongside
1:02someone Vegeta instantly recognizes.
1:04It's King Vegeta, his own ancestor.
1:06Before Vegeta can tell anyone, the
1:07crystal completely shatters. Every
1:09stolen [music] memory rushes toward a
1:10single location. The Grand Priest uses
1:11his staff to reveal where they're going,
1:13and for the first time, his calm [music]
1:14expression disappears. Every memory in
1:16the multiverse is being pulled toward
1:17Zeno's palace, and a new voice echoes
1:19across every universe and says, "The
1:21trial of the Gods is ready to begin."
