0:03It begins when Beerus gathers the Super
0:05Dragonballs himself for the first time
0:07in millions of years. Even [music] Whis
0:08is surprised as Shenron rises from the
0:10sky and says, "State your wish." Beerus
0:13answers without hesitation, "Restore
0:14[music] every world I've erased before
0:16becoming a God of Destruction." The
0:17entire planet falls silent. [music]
0:19Shenron doesn't speak. Seconds pass.
0:21Then, for the first time in history,
0:22Shenron slowly lowers his head and says,
0:24"I refuse." Before Beerus can react, the
0:26Dragonballs lose their glow and become
0:28[music] ordinary stone. Goku, Vegeta,
0:30and Whis stare in disbelief. Beerus'
0:32voice becomes deadly calm. "You dare
0:34refuse me?" Shenron replies, "I refuse

0:37been granted." Everyone freezes. Beerus
0:39immediately denies ever making such a
0:40wish. [music] Shenron looks directly
0:42into his eyes, "Not in this lifetime."
0:43Even Whis' expression changes. Beerus
0:45suddenly remembers [music] nothing. Whis
0:47quietly explains that Gods of
0:48Destruction surrender countless memories
0:50over millions of years to prevent their
0:52minds from collapsing under eternity.

0:53>> Shenron reveals that long ago, a younger
0:55Beerus regretted destroying innocent
0:57civilizations and used the Dragonballs

1:00[music] willingly erasing the memory
1:01himself. Beerus stands speechless as

1:04begin flashing through his [music] mind.
1:05Then the Grand Priest suddenly appears
1:07above them. Looking at Beerus, he calmly
1:08says, "Your memories were never erased
1:10to protect your mind." Beerus slowly
1:11looks up. The Grand Priest finishes,
1:13"They were erased to protect the
1:14multiverse from the man you became after
1:16remembering [music] them." Whis quietly
1:17closes his eyes because for the first
1:19time in millions of years, Beerus
1:20remembers everything.
