0:06Wednesday , 7 PM , and what could be

0:08better than buying a car live with you

0:09all to celebrate the end of the day ?

0:12Michael is already waiting for us down

0:14in the studio . Michael has a GLC 63 AMG

0:20with him as a coupe . But the special

0:23thing about our candidate Michael is ,

0:25as my crew has already told me . He has

0:27a truly eventful past behind him .

0:31Michael is a war relief worker , and his

0:33job included evacuating people in Gaza ,

0:35Lebanon , and Ukraine . So , he apparently

0:40storms into houses and gets people out

0:42before the bombs fall . Intense .

0:44>> And that is his profession . Michael

0:48bought the AMG on the advice of his

0:50therapist , who told him to treat

0:52himself to a nice car to balance out

0:53all the stress he faces .

0:57>> Heavy . I think that when we talk to

1:00Michael in a moment about what he has

1:02to tell us , everything we've

1:03experienced will seem like nothing in

1:05comparison .

1:08>> I think today's episode will truly

1:10ground us and bring us back to reality

1:12when a 27 - year-old tells us about his

1:14missions . Furthermore , we've tightened

1:18the rules significantly for today . When

1:21I'm down with Michael in a bit and we

1:23officially begin the buying process , I

1:25have exactly 60 minutes to make the

1:27deal with him . No more and no less . 60

1:30minutes . Ser , that means today we

1:33really have to hit the gas together

1:34with the community . We are really

1:36taking everything from you into account

1:38. Please hit me with all your

1:40observations in the chat . If you notice

1:42anything about the car that we should

1:44know , if we don't know something about

1:46the car , the model , or aren't sure

1:47about something , we are counting on

1:49your help in the live chat . I will be

1:52reading diligently , and of course your

1:54prices too . How much should we buy the

1:56car for ? What are the costs for the car

1:58, and for how much should I be able to

2:00sell the car later ? We will do all of

2:02that today together with you . I would

2:04say we are slowly heading down to

2:06Michael now , and guys , we have a very ,

2:08very awesome and very , very big

2:10announcement to make today . Something

2:14really completely new to our channel

2:15that will turn everything upside down

2:17once again . I'm waiting a bit for all

2:20the viewers to be on board , and then

2:22the big , big news is coming . You don't

2:24even know that yet .

2:25>> No , that's why I'm listening so closely

2:27to what you're about to say .

2:28>> I'll tell you in a moment . I'd say

2:30we'll make our way down to Michael

2:31shortly . How are you doing , Serkan ?

2:33>> Good . How are you doing ?

2:34>> Ready to buy a car ?

2:35>> Yes , absolutely .

2:36>> Yes , if it's an AMG .

2:38>> For me , it's always simple : A is a Benz

2:40, and B is your money .

2:41>> What does Serkan always say about Benz ?

2:43Wait . Whenever Ser hears Benz .

2:49>> Benz is Benz .

2:50>> Ben is Ben . How many people agreed with

2:52me ?

2:52>> Benz is Benz . No , let me do it in

2:54Serkan's tone . Benz is Benz .

2:56>> So let's go ,

2:57>> so let's go , let's head down . I mustn't

3:00forget the iPad and my phone . Look , I'm

3:02even pushing the chair back into place .

3:03>> Really ? I felt , I felt embarrassed just

3:06now , I turned back around .

3:08>> I was just like , oh .

3:10>> Habit , I can only say . So , this is

3:13going to be intense , what Michael has

3:15to tell us .

3:16>> Yes , I'll be there , and then another 60

3:19minutes .

3:19>> And then the 60 minutes will start

3:21right away . That means we really have

3:23the timer running in the background

3:24today , and then it's 60 seconds . For

3:27our viewers , here is the view from up

3:29here looking down . This is what the

3:31playground looks like today . Michael is

3:33already waiting for us there . And in

3:34the background , you can already see :

3:37OMIT buys live , 60 minutes . Michael ,

3:39how are you ?

3:40>> Good . I am grateful and happy to be

3:42here today .

3:42>> We are grateful that you're here . We're

3:44really looking forward to it . We're

3:45coming right down to you , Michael . Okay

3:51, down the stairs we go . The nice thing

3:55about live is that we have you with us

3:57as we walk through these hallways ,

3:58because normally you always have cuts ,

4:00scene changes , service reception , white

4:02hall , test drive . Michael , a warm

4:05welcome .

4:06>> Thank you very much .

4:07>> How are you doing ?

4:08>> I'm super nervous , because live , like

4:10you just said , is pretty intense . It's

4:13a relatively young format and it

4:14doesn't forgive any mistakes . If I

4:16>> We don't know how it works either . Yeah

4:18, if I say something stupid now , I'll

4:19be a meme by tomorrow , that's happened

4:21to one or two people already .

4:22>> Yeah , don't worry about that . Don't

4:24tell me anything about the vehicle yet ,

4:26because once we start , we'll let the

4:28clock run down , because it really

4:29should be 60 minutes today . But I would

4:32like to ask you a few questions

4:33beforehand , Michael ,

4:36>> because I was , I briefed myself earlier

4:38and was told , well , my team briefed me ,

4:40you can't really brief yourself , or can

4:42you brief yourself ? Yes , I think so .

4:45Somehow it works . I think it’s

4:48sensational that you say you get

4:49nervous with the job you have or had .

4:52>> Both . Well , I had it and I still have a

4:54bit of it . When does it not quite go

4:56away ?

4:56>> Okay . What is it you do for a living ?

4:58Explain that to me .

5:01>> Well , basically I help people in war ,

5:03um , by getting them out of the danger

5:05zone , out of the zone where the

5:06fighting is . And we’ve been doing

5:11that mainly in Ukraine for 4 years now ,

5:13but , um , also , we have a , well , I

5:15personally also have a heart for the

5:17Lebanon region and , um , also Gaza . And

5:22I was actually in Lebanon myself and in

5:24Rafah on the border with Gaza , but

5:26mainly I’ve been very active in

5:28Ukraine for the last four years , and ,

5:30um , yeah , I am , so to speak , um

5:35Department head for humanitarian aid ,

5:37for two and a half years . I was , for

5:40the Ukraine department , and yes , we

5:42have , in those two and a half years , in

5:44the first two and a half years of the

5:46war , we evacuated 180,000 people , right

5:48from the front , from the hot zone ,

5:50really with everything that entails .

5:54And I was the person responsible for

5:56the implementation and the teams , so

5:57that everyone knew how they were

5:59driving and where they were going .

6:01>> That’s intense . And at 27 years old .

6:05>> Back then I was 23 when I started that .

6:08>> Okay . And what motivated you to do it ?

6:11Did you just not want to endure the

6:12suffering , or did a voice inside you

6:14say , I have to go there , I want to help

6:16.

6:17>> Yes , well , let me put it this way : for

6:19me it was , or it is for everyone ,

6:21nobody chooses the mother they are born

6:23to . Nobody chose that . And , um , if you

6:27are born in Germany , you are

6:29automatically lucky . Mmm , that

6:32>> And if you are also born in a certain

6:34time period — I mean , nothing lasts

6:36forever , we don't know what will happen

6:38tomorrow or the next day — but if you

6:41were born in 1999 , like me , then you

6:43also hit a , let's say , a very sweet

6:45point in time . And for me , it was like

6:48that ; I wasn't really aware of it for a

6:50long time . I was just an only child , a

6:52standard German family , and , um , when I

6:55was 18 , I said to my dad , " Hey Dad , I

6:57saw a house there that I’d like to

6:59buy at 18 , " because back then in 2018

7:02— keyword : once-in-a-lifetime chance

7:04— the interest rate , the mortgage rate

7:06was at 1 % . You got money for 30 years

7:10at 1 % , and at 18 I said , " Dad , I want

7:12to buy this house . " And my dad said ,

7:16okay , it's an exciting idea , but he

7:18supported it . He basically signed for

7:21the loan at the bank as collateral . So ,

7:23I financed it at 100 % . I renovated it

7:26with my father . The whole building has

7:28four apartments near the university ,

7:30and they were fully rented out . So , I

7:33started renting them out at 19 and then

7:36I kept trying new things . In the

7:38beginning , when you’re not that

7:40mature , you always want more and more .

7:44But at 21 , it clicked for me , and I

7:46realized what a unique scenario this

7:48was , especially since interest rates

7:50were trending in a certain direction —

7:52closing doors , in a way . I thought to

8:01myself : " I could just keep doing more

8:03and more , or you trade time for money

8:05or money for time in this world , or I

8:07could use this time I have — not being

8:09under pressure to work in the classic

8:11sense — to help those who had less luck

8:13, simply less luck in the birth lottery

8:14, or were born at a bad time in a

8:16different part of the world . " And then

8:24I spent a long time looking at how that

8:26might look . Then suddenly the war in

8:28Ukraine started , and at first , everyone

8:30was overwhelmed . I drove to Ukraine on

8:34day two in my private car with six

8:35bottles of water and just went up to

8:37the army and said : " Here I am , can I

8:39help ? " And they said , yeah , set up

8:42these emergency beds , Pol

8:44>> the Polish army at the border back then

8:46. So I just drove to the border , I

8:48didn't even know where I was going , and

8:50everything was organized by the Polish

8:52civil defense , and they were setting

8:54things up , and I saw millions of people

8:57coming out of the country — women ,

8:58children , dogs , cats , everything . The

9:02men actually had to stay in the country

9:04, they couldn't leave , and those were

9:06heartbreaking scenes , and for me , it

9:08was clear : okay , you have to do

9:09something here , you have to help

9:11somehow . I first started doing it on

9:13Instagram , just said , look guys , there

9:15is a huge need here right now . Uh this

9:17and this and that is needed . And then I

9:19drove back to Germany . I rented three

9:22vans , am I allowed to say which company

9:24. Okay , I rented them from Sixt . Three ,

9:28three long Sprinters , and they were

9:30full within four hours just from what

9:32people in our village or town brought

9:34by .

9:34>> They knew that you were driving the

9:36rental car into a war zone .

9:37>> Officially , no . It was , it was , it was ,

9:40it was my own risk . Yes , at that point .

9:42We

9:43>> look into the camera .

9:44>> Yes . Yes , it was , it was my own risk at

9:46that point and then I drove into

9:48Ukraine for the first time and then I ,

9:50well that was really a week after the

9:51war started , and then I met people who

9:53had the same thing on their hearts . And

9:55then I , for six months I actually said

9:57yes to everything that came up , because

9:59I just said , as long as it helps people

10:01. And after 6 months it was the case

10:04that all the professionals , they were

10:06at some point , well not all , there are

10:08certainly some professionals , but many

10:09professionals left Ukraine and said : "

10:11This is complete madness here , you

10:13can't help here . " You can't coordinate

10:15anything here . It's just that on a 1000

10:18km long frontline it is not possible to

10:20carry anything out professionally . And

10:23then um suddenly I was the one with the

10:25most experience pretty much

10:28>> and then I was asked , okay , could you

10:30imagine doing this full-time . Then I

10:33said , okay , um gladly , um if nobody

10:35else wants to do it , but I didn't

10:37actually think I was up for it . And

10:41then little by little it developed like

10:42that . We then brought a total of 60

10:44vehicles from Germany to Ukraine .

10:47Mainly ambulances , everything financed

10:49by private people who donated money .

10:53Ambulances , armored vehicles , armored ,

10:55like Mercedes Sprinters , former

10:56cash-in-transit vans , where the

10:58driver's cab at the front offers a bit

11:00of protection against handguns and such

11:02. In the back we added custom-made

11:05steel plates . We then sent one car

11:07after another over there and the cars

11:09have been driving for four years to

11:11this very day

11:11>> and then later also Lebanon and at the

11:13border to Gaza .

11:14>> Exactly . Exactly . So when when it when

11:17it all started , um So , I got on a plane

11:22immediately because my boss said , you

11:24have the most experience . Um , can you

11:27go down there and take a look ? And I

11:30got on the plane right away . I was in

11:33Cairo a day or two after it started ,

11:35and we tried to coordinate aid there .

11:40But we realized relatively quickly that

11:42it was completely different — you

11:44couldn't compare it to Ukraine at all

11:46— and the border , well , you always

11:47have to be a bit careful what you say

11:49and how you say it , but the border is

11:51closed from both sides , and

11:52unfortunately , we couldn't really

11:54achieve anything from either side ,

11:55simply because the political will just

11:57wasn't there from any of the players .

12:03And then I went on to Lebanon when it

12:05became clear that the conflict was

12:06spreading there . I was in Zahlé ,

12:10that’s in the Beqaa Valley , near

12:12Baalbek on the border with Syria , and

12:14that’s where — well , for the last 10

12:16years , people have been living there —

12:18or rather , not right now , because since

12:20Assad was overthrown , many Syrians have

12:22gone back to Syria . But back then ,

12:25Assad was still in power and there were

12:28refugee camps with 1.5 to 2 million

12:29people or more .

12:31>> And that was actually the first time I

12:34saw real , genuine misery — I mean ,

12:36truly extreme misery . There was nothing

12:40there , and the people weren't allowed

12:41to work ; they were just there , and

12:43nothing was happening . And that touched

12:51me deeply , and we tried to — I trained

12:53various people and organizations ,

12:54preparing them for what they could

12:56expect when the war came to Lebanon ,

12:58and it did start a week later .

13:04>> And we have our experience , because the

13:06types of weapons being used are now

13:08relatively similar in almost all

13:09conflict regions around the world . Okay

13:12.

13:12>> And , unfortunately , I have to say ,

13:14I’ve become an expert in how to deal

13:16with that and also how to

13:19>> avoid such things . Yeah .

13:21>> You have a special car with you too ,

13:22right ? In case you sell this one today ,

13:24you have another car with you . And my

13:27guys told me earlier that it’s so

13:29special that we would love to take a

13:30look at it .

13:33>> Let’s go to the car . We’ll take a

13:35look at it , then we’ll come back and

13:37open up what this is actually about .

13:41But I think your story is so special

13:42that it needs to be heard .

13:46>> so that they have to be heard .

13:48>> So thanks for that , for saying that .

13:50>> I mean , that's not something to be

13:52taken for granted . Michael , at 27 years

13:54old , there have been situations in

13:55recent years where you yourself were in

13:58acute mortal danger , where you knew

13:59things were getting dicey . Well , there

14:03were situations where we drove over

14:04landmines that were between our tires ,

14:06practically between the wheelbase , and

14:08there were already cars on the road

14:10that had exploded from the mines . Then

14:12a tank column comes toward you and you

14:14have to dodge the tank because the tank

14:15won't make room , and then you drive

14:17into the green ,

14:18>> off the road ,

14:19>> and you don't know if it's going to go

14:21boom or not , and I'm telling you , then

14:24>> you have completely different thoughts

14:26in your head in those 5 seconds where

14:28you

14:30>> do you have acute fear of death in

14:31those moments , or is it blocked out

14:33because adrenaline and everything is

14:34rushing through you , and you only

14:36realize later what you just went

14:37through ? Um , well , it's obviously a lot

14:42of adrenaline and so on , but um , I have

14:44to be honest , through the war and

14:46everything I've experienced there , I've

14:48also become a deeply religious person .

14:52>> And there's this beautiful verse that

14:54says , um , " For me to live is Christ ,

14:56and to die is gain . " So , I practically

14:59go into these areas to serve people , to

15:01help them . And if I were to die , then I

15:05believe I know what awaits me afterward

15:07. And I don't think I'll be punished

15:11for what I did there .

15:15>> Intense .

15:16>> You notice you just left both of us

15:18speechless . Yeah , not much to add to

15:20that . Let's take a look in the back . So

15:22guys , this is a car that you also

15:25>> use in the field .

15:27>> Yes , this is original Ukraine patina

15:29all over it .

15:30>> So the car was in Ukraine .

15:31>> The car has already driven over 100,000

15:33kilometers in Ukraine .

15:34>> Oh , you also have lights ?

15:36>> Yes .

15:36>> Very good . Here I have , like ,

15:39>> a shelving system . In this bag here are

15:41my personal things , there's detergent

15:43and everything you need for daily life ,

15:45because you spend the night , well , you

15:47never know where you'll be , you sleep

15:49in the most impossible places .

15:51>> Then I have on the other side ,

15:54>> then I have a few bulletproof vests

15:56here , these have plates . So the

15:58>> can I try one on ?

15:59>> Take this one here . This one stops an

16:01AK - 47 . Whoa , that is heavy , though .

16:05>> Yes , but it has a plate in the front ,

16:08well , a ceramic plate in the front , in

16:10the back , and this , uh , groin

16:12protection , which you can

16:15>> it goes down .

16:16>> When you're sitting in the car , you can

16:18fold it up . If something hits the car

16:21from above , it prevents your things

16:22here from flying off . Exactly . Um , but

16:26if you have the flap down and you want

16:28to run quickly , then you'll trip and

16:29then you'll have problems .

16:30>> That’s then friendly fire . Yeah ,

16:32>> what does something like that weigh ?

16:33>> It's now , I don't know , 13 kg or so ,

16:36>> but you're wearing that all day long .

16:38So , you have the corresponding shoulder

16:39pain and so on . Then we have here in

16:41the , in the bag here , all the survival

16:43essentials are inside . There's a

16:45tourniquet and things like that

16:46included . You apply that to yourself if

16:48, well , how , how brutally am I allowed

16:51to express myself here ? You may .

16:53>> So , if an arm or a leg gets blown off ,

16:55then you have about 30 seconds to apply

16:57it to yourself . Otherwise , you pass out

16:59and bleed to death ; it's to stop the

17:00bleeding .

17:01>> Exactly . And then with that you bind ,

17:03so you practically put it around your

17:04leg , pull it tight , and then you bind .

17:06And you always provide care , so you

17:08then practically cut off the blood flow

17:09and then you write the time on top on

17:11this white patch here , uh , so the

17:13doctor at the hospital knows what time

17:14it was applied . But usually they have

17:17to amputate then , and you have to ,

17:19>> so you lose an arm and then you have to

17:20write .

17:21>> Exactly . Yes . Yeah ,

17:22>> survival , right ?

17:24>> But , so , in the end , it’s also like

17:26this : In the beginning , I often saw

17:28people , also teammates , who were

17:29bleeding extremely badly , and you have

17:31to weigh whether you apply the

17:33tourniquet . Because if you apply the

17:35tourniquet , then the leg is safe to be

17:37gone , but you have to ask yourself if

17:39you can

17:40>> still save it or not ,

17:41>> whether they need it now or not .

17:42Exactly .

17:43>> Have any of your colleagues been

17:45wounded ?

17:45>> Also killed .

17:47>> Really ? Yes , there was even a German TV

17:50crew there from ZDF . Um , they were

17:54sitting in the car behind , a drone hit

17:56the front of their car . The car was

17:59identical to this one , but was actually

18:01armored , so it was a cash-in-transit

18:03vehicle , but a drone hit right in the

18:05front , exactly on the driver's cabin ,

18:07um , yeah . He was wearing a helmet and

18:09vest , but he had nothing around his ,

18:11and then practically from here

18:13downwards , um

18:14>> Everything was gone , and then , well ,

18:16you can look it up in the ZDF

18:18documentary . Um , then they tried to

18:21keep him alive , and in the evening we

18:23had to power wash the inside of the car

18:25because

18:27>> blood .

18:28>> Yeah , that was actually the worst day ,

18:30more or less . You're wearing helmets

18:33too , combat helmets , they're quite ,

18:35well , if you have them on your head all

18:37the time , um , heavy . Yeah , then we have

18:39boards here . If I get stuck in the

18:41terrain or something , then you have to ,

18:43in winter , snow , shovel , I have a

18:45Bundeswehr folding spade lying around

18:47somewhere

18:48>> and you have to dig yourself out of the

18:49thing while shots are going off around

18:51you and everything else is going on .

18:54Tow rope , tension straps , always

18:56canisters of windshield fluid . Sure ,

18:58very important , because you always have

19:00all the mud , you have to refill it

19:01three times a day because it’s all

19:03over the thing . And this right here is

19:07actually — it sounds crazy now , but it

19:09is actually a piece of a Ukrainian

19:11school that was destroyed . And I

19:15thought , no one’s going to believe me

19:17. And so I just started , sometimes from

19:22places that mean something to me , to

19:24take a memento along . And in this car ,

19:28we take humanitarian aid over . Like

19:31here , for example , firefighter jackets

19:33and such , we collect donations in

19:35Germany , drive them over , and in

19:37Ukraine itself we distribute food or

19:39evacuate people .

19:40>> Mhm .

19:41>> And , um , this vehicle here also has a

19:43special function ; when an attack

19:45happens somewhere in the city and lots

19:47of houses are destroyed , nobody talks

19:49about that . And when something hits ,

19:52the blast wave breaks 5,000 windows ; in

19:54winter at -15 ° C , it gets cold

19:57accordingly . Then we come with the car ,

20:00and we have these plywood boards — huge

20:03plywood sheets , like 2m by 4 m — and we

20:05slide them all in here . And then we

20:10practically measure the window frames

20:11somewhere at night and screw plywood

20:13boards on for the people so it’s at

20:14least somewhat protected from the

20:16weather , and we use the car for that

20:17too . We don’t allow ourselves to get

20:22political today because I know far too

20:24little to say anything about that . But

20:26I really want to say thank you , because

20:28it’s not about politics , but

20:30>> yeah ,

20:31>> you’re helping , you’re helping

20:32people , you’re helping families . It's

20:36an extreme situation you're in , but

20:38what is it like when you're essentially

20:40evacuating a family that has just lost

20:42everything , or lost family members , or

20:44children who have been separated from

20:45their parents — how do you cope with

20:47that ? Mm .

20:51>> I mean , how how can you process that ?

20:53>> Well , that is actually a difficult

20:54point , I really have to say . What

20:56protects me is that sometimes , well , I

20:58don't speak the language . That creates

21:01a sort of healthy distance , and

21:03sometimes I tell myself — it might

21:04sound a bit harsh — but I tell myself

21:06I'm basically just hauling wood or

21:08something , because it helps me

21:09personally to maintain a distance . But

21:12what I also want to say briefly , you

21:14know , politicians do politics ; we

21:16simply help people . When something

21:18happens anywhere in the world , it’s

21:19rarely the politicians fighting on the

21:21front lines ; it's the poorest and the

21:23weakest . It’s like that everywhere ;

21:25people who have a car get in their car

21:27and drive away . Mm .

21:28>> Those who have no car are left behind ;

21:30the elderly are left behind ; the weak

21:31are left behind . And , of course , what

21:33also helps me is that I can talk about

21:35these things in prayer at night with

21:37God , and that I can say I am

21:38essentially handing these things over .

21:41I think anyone can understand that ,

21:43even if you don't believe in God ; it

21:44just helps to move things onto someone

21:46else's desk .

21:49>> But I actually have to say , for about

21:51two and a half years — no , for two

21:53years now — I’ve had post-traumatic

21:55stress disorder , sleep disturbances ,

21:57and so on . And that is the reason why I

22:03am currently only doing it on a

22:04voluntary basis and only in a way that

22:06is possible for me , because I simply

22:07can’t keep going at the pace I did

22:09during the first year and a half or two

22:11years . And , well , yes , the echo of that

22:16, I’ll probably have for the rest of

22:18my life .

22:21>> But , regardless of the fact that we are

22:22starting right now . Um , thank you .

22:27>> You really have , you truly have "

22:30>> so much respect " is an understatement .

22:32I don't even know the right words ,

22:34because I wasn't prepared for this

22:36conversation in this form , but you put

22:37everything we do in our everyday lives

22:39into perspective , don't you ? Everything

22:43we run for , do , achieve , goals , this

22:45and that , numbers , money , views , etc.

22:48You have — well , you just brought me

22:51back down to earth so much , and I have

22:53to say , um , if you need help in the

22:59future , come to me . I'm happy if I can

23:02help . But now let's get on with the

23:04purchase .

23:05>> Now we're moving on to the purchase .

23:06That's what people are for , right ? Now

23:08>> Goosebumps , guys .

23:09>> But how

23:10>> but but also

23:11>> that's a difficult transition , too , but

23:14that's how life is , you know ?

23:15>> Yes . Amazing . I mean , I'm really

23:18getting goosebumps right now . So , now

23:20let's head back to the studio . We want

23:23to get started right away .

23:25>> Can I briefly tell you why I even

23:27bought the car and how I can even

23:28reconcile that with my profession ?

23:31>> Some people might say , " Hey , he sees so

23:33much suffering and then he drives an

23:35AMG when he ... "

23:37>> Save that for the 60 minutes when we

23:38start the countdown .

23:39>> Okay , sounds good .

23:41>> So , I have to check one more time . I

23:44also have the live chat here . Guys ,

23:48we're starting right now . But before we

23:52start , I have a very , very big

23:54announcement . There’s something brand

23:57new coming up , and I’m really looking

23:59forward to it . And that is on Wednesday

24:03, the 28th . October , so the last

24:08Wednesday of this month , our first big

24:10live event , Last Car Standing . And that

24:14is an event for our community and with

24:16our community . You can apply for it

24:19right now . I’ll explain to you now

24:21what we have planned . Anyone who has a

24:24cool car , regardless of the price range

24:26, anyone who thinks they have a cool

24:28car can apply to us for this . We will

24:32invite ten cars from all applications

24:33to come here to us live that evening .

24:37We’ll put the first two cars here .

24:40>> Both participants can present their

24:42cars . So really all kinds of cars .

24:44Anyone who thinks they have a cool car

24:45in the live stream . In the live stream .

24:47We’ll put the first two cars here .

24:49Everyone presents their car . Then 3

24:52minutes of voting in the live chat . So

24:55you decide who stays and who goes .

24:57>> Awesome .

24:58>> The one who wins the vote gets to stay .

25:01The one who loses the vote drives out

25:02and we drive the next car in .

25:05>> The next one presents their car again ,

25:07and then there’s the vote again , who

25:08has the cooler car . And we’ll be

25:11playing this for 10 rounds . After 10

25:14rounds , whoever has the coolest car ,

25:16survives every vote , and wins the final

25:19round , gets € 5,000 . So , one of you

25:24— you’ll all get the stage here to

25:25show your community and ours your cool

25:27cars . Serkan and I will be there . But

25:31we’re just there to host and to

25:32explore . You decide ; Zerk and I aren't

25:35allowed to decide . You decide , over and

25:39over , in live polls that night , which

25:41car wins , and we'll do this once a

25:43month . After 12 months , there’s the

25:46big annual finale . All the monthly

25:49winners will be invited to this annual

25:50finale . All 12 of them , and the winner

25:54of the annual finale gets another €

25:5625,000 . The link to apply for our new

26:00format is in the video description . We

26:03are already looking forward to many

26:05applications . It’s , well , it’s four

26:07weeks from now . So in four weeks ,

26:09we’ll be standing here and our very

26:11first big live event kicks off , and you

26:13decide — exclusively you decide — who

26:14leaves here as the big winner at the

26:16end of the night . And I have to say ,

26:18I’m really looking forward to the

26:20vehicles . You didn’t know about this ,

26:21and I can tell you’re excited too .

26:23>> I’m just wondering if I should enter

26:24with my Sprinter .

26:25>> Can I have my RS6 ? Am I allowed to

26:27participate ?

26:27>> You are not allowed to participate . You

26:29are only allowed to stand by , just like

26:31me .

26:31>> We just stand by , watch , enjoy

26:33ourselves , chat , and get to know the

26:35cars .

26:35>> That’s good , right ?

26:36>> He’s coming up with stuff like that

26:38...

26:38>> really dynamic .

26:39>> Awesome . That is awesome .

26:41>> I came up with it together with the

26:42team .

26:42>> Really strong . So guys , you heard it .

26:45Last Car Standing . The first episode ,

26:48the first big live event on October ...

26:5028th . You can start applying for it

26:52live now . You can start applying for it

26:55right now . You notice that in a live

26:57broadcast , you can't really do retakes ,

26:59right ?

26:59>> Yeah , I’m noticing . Yeah .

27:01>> Yes , it’s that camera mode . So ,

27:02you’ve heard it , we can see the

27:04countdown in the back . Michael , when we

27:07say " now , " our 60 minutes start .

27:09You’ll then have 60 minutes to sell

27:11the car to us , and I have 60 minutes to

27:13buy the car from you . But I think we

27:15can manage that .

27:16>> You have fewer problems with time

27:17pressure . So ...

27:19>> maybe today already . We’ll see .

27:21>> Director , I’d say if you’re ready ,

27:23let’s start the time live now . Let me

27:26take a look . Director , ready ?

27:28>> Let’s go .

27:28>> Ah , the time is already running . So

27:30Michael , tell me everything about your

27:32car , please . We've already learned a

27:34lot about you by now .

27:35>> Okay , so first of all , the most

27:36beautiful color ever . Makes it easy to

27:39sell with .

27:39>> Yeah , Hyacinth Red , right ?

27:41>> It's almost like that Porsche the other

27:43day . You have to be careful what you

27:44say now .

27:45>> Yes , I've learned , colors sell .

27:47>> Exactly . I am firmly convinced that

27:49there are some people who say a car

27:51like this needs a bold color , because

27:53you want to stand out a bit .

27:54>> But I think this one is better matched

27:56than the Porsche , because the interior

27:57matches better , don't you think ? We

27:59have Hyacinth Red on the outside , and

28:01inside we have black with red seatbelts

28:02. Right , it's a GLC .

28:04>> GLC 63S . Matic . Something along those

28:09lines .

28:09>> 4Matic Coupe .

28:11>> Coupe . Exactly .

28:12>> Um , 510 horsepower , these cars have .

28:14>> 510 , exactly . Biturbo .

28:16>> 4L V8 Biturbo , as we know it .

28:18>> Exactly . It's , um , I think — well , I

28:20might be talking nonsense . Please

28:22correct me if I say something wrong .

28:242018 was , I believe , the transition

28:26from ... what do you call it when the

28:27exhaust still makes noise ?

28:29>> GPF .

28:30>> Yeah , it doesn't have one yet , right ?

28:31>> Exactly .

28:32>> Yeah , it's still loud . Let's hear it .

28:34>> But it's already a facelift model and

28:36that was only around for two months or

28:37so .

28:37>> Okay . Okay . So facelift 2018 , no GPF .

28:41How many kilometers does your car have ?

28:43>> 107,000 and ...

28:45>> 107,000 .

28:50>> Aha . Serkan already knows where to

28:52press . Let's go around to the back .

28:57Again . Wow . That'll do . Enough . Thanks .

29:09Stop playing around .

29:10>> It's nice to hear it from the back for

29:12once . Usually , you're sitting inside it

29:14.

29:14>> Okay , so I see the car has a factory

29:16Night Package . Yeah , so I think .

29:20>> Yeah , here , Serkan , is the Night

29:22Package factory-fitted , is it not

29:24wrapped ?

29:25>> It is wrapped , it is .

29:26>> The door handles are always ...

29:28>> Well , the doors ... the door handles

29:29because of the keyless entry are always

29:31chrome ; they're wrapped , but that's not

29:33wrapped , right ?

29:34>> Exactly .

29:35>> That's painted , that's factory ; look at

29:37the headlights in the front too , yeah ,

29:39look , it has the dark headlights .

29:41>> Yeah , it might be that there's film on

29:42the rear lights somewhere . I'm not 100 %

29:45sure . I mean , I read that somewhere in

29:47the purchase contract , but ...

29:48>> You're not allowed to say that .

29:49>> Oh , I see . Right .

29:51>> Yeah , then I ... then I misread it . I

29:54guess .

29:54>> That was ... that wasn't this car , was it

29:56? That wasn't the car . It was the R ,

29:58everything's live .

29:59>> That was the red one in Ukraine . True .

30:01>> This is all live . Alright , let's move

30:03on . So , 107,000 km you said , 2018 car .

30:07>> Exactly . Exactly . So , full service

30:10history , everything always done at

30:11Mercedes . Currently , however , the

30:13service is due . I think I'm 57 days

30:16over . You can go a maximum of 90 , I

30:18think . Yes .

30:19>> Um

30:21>> yeah ,

30:21>> your tires are good .

30:22>> Those are from your

30:24>> your front brake discs are borderline .

30:25They are " brake-worthy . "

30:27>> Okay . But I learned from you that you

30:29shouldn't skimp on tires because it's

30:31safety-relevant . That's why I have the

30:32good Michelin tires .

30:33>> Good . You have top-tier tires on there ,

30:35and they still have plenty of tread

30:36left . You guys got my joke . Did you

30:38hear it ?

30:38>> Which one ?

30:39>> I said the brakes are " brake-worthy . "

30:42Brake-worthy . Brake-worthy . You've

30:45heard it before , right ? It's so bad . It

30:48was so bad that

30:50>> good . But Ser , feel the brakes , right ?

30:52They are pretty worn down .

30:53>> Something bad with the , with the , well ,

30:56I want the chat to look again , but this

30:58is a pre-facelift , I think .

30:59>> Sure . Okay ,

31:00>> sure .

31:01>> Chat , facelift or pre-facelift ? I'll go

31:03straight to the chat

31:04>> and look here , that's also very , very ,

31:06very bad on the GLC models . Do you see

31:07how the clear coat is flaking off here ?

31:09That's always the case .

31:10>> Look . So yeah , Sissler writes in the

31:13chat " No Mopf , " meaning no model update

31:15. Is

31:16>> okay . I have

31:18>> Facelift always means automatically

31:19quieter .

31:20>> Yes , okay . But then it was good .

31:22>> No facelift , no facelift . Very well

31:24spotted .

31:25>> So that is

31:25>> and chat , very awesome catch .

31:27>> As far as that goes . So whether I say

31:29here , there's a scratch , that doesn't

31:31affect the price much , but facelift and

31:33pre -

31:33>> no facelift . Nope , everyone says no

31:35facelift .

31:36>> Okay , then I was talking nonsense . I'm

31:38sorry .

31:38>> But your sound is fire . Yes ,

31:40>> says but Sound is B 100 % .

31:44>> Yes , good . Your price expectation .

31:46>> Um , first of all , you can , if you like ,

31:48touch the Michelin tires again , because

31:49recently at Michelin you weren't

31:51allowed to touch anything .

31:52>> Exactly , I wasn't allowed to touch

31:53anything there . Nah , I already touched

31:55them . I always touch things immediately

31:57.

31:57>> Okay , so let's start at 49,000 Euros .

32:07You notice the silence in the room .

32:09There are only a few people here ,

32:10anyway . No one can , no one can applaud .

32:13>> Exactly . Exactly . We might need that in

32:16the future , too . So , people who applaud

32:18when the customer calls out a price ,

32:19>> or just buttons ,

32:20>> and then others who boo when I make a

32:22counter-offer .

32:22>> Yes , exactly . It's free of any

32:25repainting .

32:26>> What does your device say ?

32:29>> Nothing at all . Ask ,

32:31>> I see a color difference here .

32:32>> Well , to my knowledge , there was a ... I

32:35see a color difference ,

32:36>> and an extreme one . Wait , I'll grab the

32:38Car Vertical report right now .

32:40>> To my knowledge , there is damage . Um ,

32:42>> front , Car

32:43>> Vertical says condition history .

32:45Warning : We have found an entry for

32:47this vehicle .

32:48>> Yes , exactly .

32:49>> Yes .

32:50>> Front or rear ?

32:52>> Front or rear ?

32:53>> Well , according to my info , and what's

32:55also in the Mercedes sales contract , it

32:58was the front bumper , rear , and one

33:00door .

33:01>> Mhm .

33:02>> Front bumper , rear , and one door .

33:04Didn't get any further info back then ,

33:06because the hood is definitely

33:07repainted .

33:08>> Guys , look , we also have that in our

33:10Car Vertical report under condition

33:11history . Warning : We have found an

33:13entry for this vehicle . It's very

33:15important , aha , look here , hood

33:17repainted .

33:18>> That's why I just asked , because the

33:20front is painted .

33:20>> Very important , guys : not everyone is

33:22as honest as Michael and opens up right

33:24away when you bring up the damage .

33:26That's why you should please protect

33:27yourselves from fraud . I'm not saying

33:29it without reason ; in almost no other

33:31industry is there so much lying and

33:32cheating as in the used car trade . And

33:34we unfortunately deal with that every

33:36single day , and we have a brutal video

33:38about it tomorrow . We'll talk about

33:40that in a moment . So , a fraud victim

33:42scandal , next level . It's about Melder ,

33:45a young lady , but we'll talk about that

33:47in a bit . What I want to tell you is ,

33:49please protect yourselves from fraud .

33:50In almost no other industry is there as

33:52much lying and cheating . With Car

33:53Vertical , you can easily check if the

33:55odometer has been tampered with or if

33:57the car had previous damage . If so , in

33:59many cases , even with photos of the

34:01previous damage . We can see if the

34:03vehicles are imported or if they are

34:05currently wanted by the police , for

34:06example . You can find the link to Car

34:09Vertical in our video description . Be

34:11sure to use the discount code OMIT to

34:13get an extra 20 % off . That is very , very

34:16important . I'll check the time quickly .

34:1853 minutes . Ah , let me quickly check

34:21one thing . Uh , Felix , do we have a

34:24moment for a Melder segment , so I can

34:26tell the community what's coming

34:28tomorrow ?

34:28>> Yes ,

34:31>> alright guys , tomorrow at 5 PM a video

34:33goes online that we’ve really been

34:35working on for weeks . It is the most

34:39intense and perhaps one of the most

34:40dangerous videos we have ever filmed .

34:43We’ll show you now what tomorrow’s

34:45video at 5 p.m. will be about . It’s

34:47weighing on us heavily .

34:49>> The worst rip-off that exists . There is

34:51no solution . What kind of solution ? We

34:53are out of this . We’re not doing

34:55anything anymore . You’re welcome to

34:56escalate it . I don’t care either .

34:57>> But I don’t even want to argue with

34:59you .

34:59>> I don’t want to discuss this . No.

35:01>> I’m already shaking a little bit .

35:02Heart pounding .

35:03>> We’ve been talking about this for 6

35:05months now . At some point , it just

35:06wasn’t possible anymore .

35:07>> This is a whole new dimension . That was

35:10really tough . I have a small child

35:12myself , and I really had a bad feeling

35:14about putting him in this .

35:19>> I’ve now flown about 500 km with my

35:22crew . Direct confrontation . We are

35:24looking for a car dealership here .

35:25>> A car dealership ? A car dealership .

35:27>> We’re going in . Honestly , I’m

35:29getting a bit of a queasy feeling here

35:31too . I wouldn’t be going down there

35:32without my community . So guys , you’ve

35:43seen it , this video goes live tomorrow

35:45at 5 p.m. It’s about a young woman ,

35:47Melder , who bought a Porsche with her

35:49husband and her dad , and then something

35:51just happened that no one expects .

35:55You’ll see what happened tomorrow ,

35:57what it all means for us , and the

35:58impact this video will have . It really

36:02is , it’s quite explosive . What I want

36:04to tell you is , please protect

36:06yourselves from fraud . Please always do

36:07your homework when you go to buy a car ,

36:09and that starts with a Car Vertical

36:11report . Later on , the Serkan Vertical

36:13will be added . But the first step :

36:15buying a car , always get a Car Vertical

36:17report . The video tomorrow at 5 p.m. So

36:19, Serkan , you’ve already taken a bit

36:21of a look . Let’s keep looking at the

36:23interior . Your technical check is still

36:25to come . I’m still holding back a

36:26little bit .

36:28>> Should I show you everything in a

36:29moment ?

36:30>> Yeah , I see quite a lot . So , you have

36:32electric seats , you have seat heating ,

36:34you have memory , you have a Burmester

36:36sound system . Fabian , feel free to look

36:38into the car with me , so the viewers

36:40can also see what I see . Head-up

36:41display , was there already a digital

36:43speedometer back then ? Probably not .

36:45>> That probably only came with the

36:47facelift sometime in 2018 , 19 . Honestly

36:49, I think it’s nice being analog in a

36:51car like this , but I don’t know , I

36:53don’t know . I don’t know .

36:55>> A matter of taste . Okay .

36:56>> Came with the facelift . Yeah .

36:58>> Yes , with the facelift came the , the , I

37:00really like the digital speedometer

37:02that Mercedes introduced later on .

37:04Otherwise

37:05>> black interior , you've got a sunroof ,

37:07>> yes ,

37:08>> red seatbelts .

37:09>> Yes .

37:09>> How many previous owners does the car

37:11have ?

37:12>> Um , well , let's just be completely open

37:15and honest .

37:16>> Yes . In the sales contract from

37:17Mercedes , when I bought it as a " Young

37:19Star , " it stated it was second-hand

37:21when I bought it .

37:22>> So I would be the third owner . Yes ,

37:25>> but I can still remember that when I

37:27was leaving the dealership back then ,

37:29the salesperson told me a bit of a

37:30strange story , and I never saw the

37:32registration document because the car

37:34is financed .

37:35>> The document is with the bank

37:38>> and I remember he said something like ,

37:40well , actually the car was registered

37:42by Mercedes A and Mercedes B , but both

37:44were Mercedes .

37:47>> But now I'm not sure , to be honest . I

37:49tried to find out again yesterday . um ,

37:52because on short notice it's not that

37:54simple

37:54>> uh I didn't , I haven't .

37:56>> Okay . Guys , when you finance cars , it's

37:58very important to always take a copy of

37:59the registration document ,

38:01>> because all sorts of things happen ,

38:02right ? I know that , a car comes from

38:04six , seven owners , the customer

38:05finances it , the dealer thinks , well ,

38:07okay , then I'll just send the document

38:09to the bank , and when the customer asks

38:10about the document later , I'll tell

38:12them : " The document is at the bank . "

38:14Well , in my case , the situation was

38:15that I bought the car while I was in

38:17Ukraine ,

38:18>> okay ,

38:19>> and I didn't even pick up the car for

38:20three or four months . They kept writing

38:22to me , Mr. Schmidt , are you still alive

38:24, are you still coming , or something

38:25like that , actually . Um , and , um , I had

38:28also bought it unseen , so just based on

38:30the pictures . Um , and yes , everything

38:34was actually fine , but the thing with

38:36the previous owners , that was

38:37>> so you're not really sure if it's third

38:39or fourth .

38:40>> Exactly , but one of the two , 100 % . Good

38:43, otherwise you wanted to tell us

38:45earlier why you bought the car , because

38:46you said it's so contrary to what you

38:48do for a living .

38:50>> Yes . Yes , exactly . Well , most people

38:53think , oh , he helps people there and

38:54then he orders a car like this , what's

38:56wrong with him ? But for me , it was just

38:59the case that in 2022 I was actually in

39:01Ukraine from February until December .

39:03In '23 it continued . Um , yeah , anyway ,

39:06I was over there a lot , too . And we

39:09always have these routine checks , all

39:11reputable organizations do that . You

39:13have to go see a doctor , and then the

39:14doctor talks to you . And the doctor

39:16asked me about hobbies or anything like

39:18that , or anything that gives me fun or

39:19joy . I said I don't have any . He said ,

39:21" You've been working for so long now ,

39:23you have no balance , no free time at

39:25all . " I said , " Nope , " he said . " Yeah ,

39:27anything nice at home or something ? " " No

39:29, do you have any dreams ? " I said , "

39:31Well , I do have one dream , it would be

39:33this car . " " But it would be really

39:35stupid to buy it . " I told him , " Because

39:38afterwards , people see me driving

39:40around in it and then someone says

39:41something , and it just doesn't fit , and

39:43it's also really tough for me

39:45internally . " I said , " How can I drive

39:48such a nice car when people are

39:49suffering elsewhere ? " " That's just not

39:51right . " I didn't take any vacations ,

39:53nothing at all . I went without

39:55everything and even had a bit of a

39:57tendency to just leave what I earned

39:58back then at my full-time job in

40:00Ukraine .

40:02>> And the doctor really said , " That's not

40:04healthy , that's not healthy . " And I

40:05really struggled with myself for a long

40:07time internally and then I thought ,

40:09come on , why actually not ? I had it on

40:10my watchlist and it always went like ,

40:12you know , when you get a notification

40:14when the car gets cheaper again . And at

40:16some point it became so interesting , it

40:18was back then Germany-wide , in 2023 it

40:20was the youngest , meaning the cheapest

40:23" Junge Sterne " GLC 63S nationwide .

40:26>> Definitely speaks for the color .

40:27>> Yeah . Yeah , maybe some whisper this ,

40:30others that , and um , yeah , and then , um

40:32, exactly , and then I just had it on my

40:34watch and at some point I said : " Okay ,

40:36hm , well I could , I could finance it

40:38now , yeah , and I would get the money

40:41from the bank too , because they say ,

40:43the secure income was there . "

40:45>> And then I just called there , I said ,

40:46what is wrong with the car ? They said ,

40:48nothing , everything is perfect . And

40:50then I said , okay , I’ll buy it , even

40:52though I didn’t know yet when I’d

40:53pick it up . Eventually , on the way back

40:56from Ukraine , I managed to organize it ,

40:58and that’s how I drove there in a

41:00company car , picked it up , but took it

41:02nice and easy . That was just my , my , my

41:06, my balance , my treasure . Sort of , I

41:08consciously enjoyed that for myself .

41:10Later on with my wife , too . Uh , we’d

41:12go for nice drives , Black Forest , Lake

41:14Constance , Switzerland is right there ;

41:16Freiburg is all just around the corner .

41:19>> And that personally just , uh , gave me a

41:22lot . But of course , I can understand

41:24that some people might say ,

41:27>> but I have to say , your doctor is a

41:29legend , he deserves a medal . We need

41:33that doctor who tells his patients , if

41:35you’re not feeling well , buy an AMG .

41:37>> Yeah , unfortunately , no one writes that

41:39. So , the car is prescription-only .

41:41>> Yeah , exactly . I was just about to say ,

41:43unfortunately , he couldn't write a

41:44prescription for it . That would have

41:45been cool . Maybe if I’d had private

41:46health insurance . No idea .

41:48>> Right , let's take a look , the rear

41:50brake looks , yeah , it looks better .

41:52It’s also a bit better than the front

41:53brake .

41:54>> Could be that they were like , classic

41:56move , you know , saying let's just do

41:57the rear . Is that right ? Feel the back .

42:00So , I’d say the rear brake is better

42:02than the front brake .

42:04>> But the front isn't bad yet , either .

42:06Bad , right ? So , uh , I’d say it’s

42:09got about 20 % left on it . Ah ,

42:11>> okay . Yeah , that’s actually good .

42:13>> We already have a good lip . I mean , we

42:14have a very , very distinct lip forming .

42:16Okay .

42:17>> And you learned that you have to feel

42:18the back and not the front .

42:19>> Yes , exactly . But

42:21>> did you really just say that ? This is

42:23live , right ?

42:24>> Oh , ,

42:25>> this is live .

42:26>> I’m out of here . So guys , let me

42:28explain to you what Serkan explained to

42:30me . Look , normally as a dealer these

42:33last few years , I’ve just always

42:35reached for the edge here

42:37>> and checked , okay , if I run my finger

42:39along the brake disc to the edge , if

42:41the disc is new , there's no edge ,

42:43it’s completely smooth , then you

42:45slide over the edge , and then I go over

42:47here , do this

42:48>> and then I notice , okay , there is

42:50already a lip forming , right ? I can

42:51already feel it a bit with my . But what

42:53I've learned now is that a brake also

42:55has an inside .

42:56>> Ah . On the other side , you sometimes

42:58have more rim than on the inside . That

43:00can happen .

43:01>> Here , in terms of grip . Um ,

43:04>> evenly .

43:05>> Okay ,

43:06>> see ? This is real , this isn't AI here ,

43:08right ? So , these are real cars we're

43:10dealing with . Right , let's keep going .

43:12We only have 44 minutes left . We have

43:14to be careful not to ramble too much

43:15today .

43:16>> Yeah , but we're already on the right

43:17track . Everything is fine as it is . You

43:19already think the car is great , don't

43:20you ? You want

43:20>> Do you — do you think , I mean , I have

43:22to admit I like the car . Ser , what do

43:24you say about the color ? We don't even

43:26dare to make statements about colors

43:27anymore , right ?

43:28>> I dare to . Yeah , it's a shitty color .

43:32>> And I say that as a Turk . I mean , red

43:34is actually our color . So , but it

43:36stands — but the whole chat is against

43:38it too . So

43:39>> against the color .

43:40>> Yeah ,

43:40>> I heard , but it stands — that's the

43:42sentence I heard .

43:43>> Felix , can we throw a poll into the

43:45chat ? Let's really let the chat decide

43:48now . Color good or bad ? Just good , bad .

43:52Can we start a poll in the live chat so

43:54that also

43:56>> Okay , the director will put a live poll

43:58in the chat for you right now . I'm

44:02really interested in your opinion on

44:04the color , because I truly learned from

44:07Axel , with Axel's '91 model , that as a

44:09dealer , I also have to open up a bit to

44:11colors .

44:13>> Mhm .

44:13>> Because sure , black always works , white

44:15always works , gray always works , silver

44:17always works .

44:18>> Mm .

44:18>> But then there are people who say ,

44:20these are exactly the colors we don't

44:21want . Do you know those posts on

44:23Instagram or other portals where it's

44:25shown that humanity has lost its colors

44:27,

44:28>> where you get a parking lot displayed

44:29like that ? Back in the day , cars were

44:31nice and colorful , and then parallel to

44:33that , a parking lot today , right ? All

44:34cars white , black , gray .

44:36>> In Italy , parking lots are still

44:37colorful today . I think that's more of

44:39a German sickness . Maybe .

44:41>> Maybe ,

44:41>> maybe .

44:42>> I think , I mean , I think what really

44:44helps the car and what balances out the

44:46color for me are the seatbelts .

44:48>> Yeah ,

44:48>> so the seatbelts somehow make it look

44:50nice again . So do the brake calipers .

44:52>> Yeah , thanks .

44:53>> I mean , you have to say , the GLC itself

44:56is really a beast . It's

44:57>> a cool car . So , the G I love I love the

45:00GLC .

45:00>> Yes , thanks .

45:01>> I also have a

45:02>> Is the voting already running ?

45:06>> It's running ,

45:06>> it's running . Can I see it too ?

45:10>> I'm curious to see it myself . 19

45:12>> stop . I didn't want that now .

45:15>> You see it here asking for mileage

45:18>> 107,000 right ?

45:19>> Yes . 107,000 km chat . I'm doing the

45:22price check right now . When you've

45:24voted on the color , then please also

45:26give your opinion on the purchase price

45:27. I'll take a look with you now

45:31>> and be honest , no weird sympathy stuff

45:33or anything .

45:35>> Regarding the color .

45:36>> No , people should just be like always .

45:39I I like it when people give honest

45:40feedback too . So ,

45:42>> okay . Felix , what's the current status

45:45on the colors ? If only 10 % say that the

45:49color is nice .

45:50>> Color good 62 % and color bad 38 %

45:54>> 2,000 items .

45:56>> How many people said the color is good

46:00>> out of the 2 , 62 % of 2,500 , so around , I

46:04don't know , 1,400 people said the color

46:07is good .

46:08>> Oh , good actually , that's impressive .

46:10>> 62 % said good . That can't be right . We

46:13have to be honest .

46:14>> Doing great . So , now chat , next

46:17challenge , the purchase price . I'm

46:19taking a look now . We still have 41

46:21minutes left . We still have to do a

46:23whole technical check in between and a

46:24test drive .

46:25>> Yes .

46:26>> Yes . So feel free to come with me . I'm

46:29entering it live now . Best keep the

46:31camera on this . I'll clean my phone . We

46:34are live .

46:36>> So , professionally cleaned phone . So we

46:38have a Mercedes ,

46:39>> which still has a warranty , right ? And

46:41that can be extended too .

46:43>> Young Stars .

46:44>> I think Mercedes-Benz 100 , because of

46:46its age .

46:46>> Wow , the chat is already going crazy

46:48with the prices .

46:49>> So , it is a coupe . Don't tell me the

46:51prices yet , I want to discover it for

46:53myself . Look guys , it's a coupe . I'm

46:55just entering " Coop " now , if you're

46:57wondering why I'm doing that . It's

46:59because of the apostrophe over the E.

47:01Some get it wrong and I don't want to

47:02miss a incorrectly listed vehicle . You

47:05know what I mean . That's why I'm

47:07writing " Coop " for coupe .

47:09>> So , then I should turn in that

47:11direction . So , it's a '18 car . Right .

47:15>> I'll do from 2017 .

47:18>> Mileage up to 125,000 .

47:21>> Yes .

47:22>> So. And performance I'll set to 510 .

47:25>> Exactly . It

47:26>> is an S after all .

47:27>> Exactly .

47:28>> Good . And now , let's start the search .

47:31I'm going to sort by lowest price first

47:32right now . So , here we go . Repaired

47:36accident damage 445 . Alright , we're

47:38making progress . Then 449 , 2019 car ,

47:41120,000 km in black . Ooh ,

47:45>> Burmester , head-up display , it looks

47:47better than Hyacinth red .

47:49>> Scroll down a bit .

47:52>> I'm scrolling down . Second owner .

47:54>> Accident-free .

47:55>> Oh , that’s a pretty aggressive price

47:57point , right ?

47:57>> I really have to say .

47:59>> Fresh Service B4 just done at Mercedes .

48:02Rims completely repainted in satin

48:04matte black .

48:04>> Dealer or private ?

48:05>> It’s a dealer .

48:06>> Okay , respect .

48:07>> So it comes with a warranty and

48:09everything . And

48:10>> look , it's also priced quite fairly .

48:12449 .

48:13>> Yeah , that’s crazy . Mhm .

48:14>> Then the next car . 449 . VAT can be

48:17shown . White car , 2019 , 995 uh , 99,500

48:24km for 44,999 .

48:27>> Yeah . Mhm .

48:29>> Then we have 77 , that’s a sponsored

48:31one . We can move on quickly , because we

48:34really need to hurry now . I'm under

48:36time pressure . The car is located in

48:37Sweden . 75,000 km . 459 .

48:41>> But there aren't that many , right ?

48:42Comparable ones . Just three or so . Yeah

48:44,

48:45>> I haven't seen one in red yet .

48:46>> Yeah , that you that’s where I have

48:50you . No , the good thing is that you're

48:52fit . I mean , you're really on the ball .

48:55You know exactly when to say what ,

48:57don't you ? I think you're pretty good

48:59in our videos .

49:00>> A little bit . Yeah ,

49:01>> so '18 car , 102,000 km , 469 .

49:05>> And we have an official result from the

49:06chat that red is the color . As of

49:09>> recently . The chat was on your side ,

49:12but the selling price of this car is

49:13now nicely priced , and I'm curious to

49:15see what the chat said in parallel .

49:19>> Wow , and look at 49 , all the cars are

49:21consistently under 100,000 km , right ?

49:2469,000 km . I’d say you can list the

49:27car for 469 .

49:30>> What does the chat say ?

49:31>> Can we check again ?

49:32>> Listing price between 45 and 47 . Does

49:36the equipment make a difference , like

49:38if it has the Command system , steers by

49:40itself in traffic , absolutely

49:41everything ?

49:42>> They were all okay .

49:45>> Yeah , they all had more or less good

49:47equipment , but honestly , 469 , the chat

49:50agrees . I mean , we really did today , on

49:53one hand the chat said red is cool .

49:55>> Yeah , thanks again .

49:56>> But they say , oh , someone says purchase

49:58price 34,000 , they don't like you . Okay

50:01, no .

50:01>> There are some that say purchase price

50:0437 , 35 , 34 , 36 , 37 ,

50:07>> that would be , look ,

50:08>> look Michael , the chat says

50:11>> everywhere 30s as a purchase price .

50:13That’s heavy .

50:14>> Yeah .

50:16>> 40 to 41 for sympathy .

50:21>> Hm . Yeah , that actually hurts a little

50:24bit inside , I have to say .

50:26>> Then I would say , subject to the

50:28technical condition .

50:30>> Mhm . 46,900 . I’ve seen the car .

50:33Service is due , brakes are due . We’re

50:36surely looking at 2,000 or 3,000 euros

50:38already or with lots and lots of

50:43sympathy .

50:45>> Now , at this point , my first offer to

50:47you .

50:48>> Mhm .

50:50>> 39,000 euros .

50:54>> Generous .

50:58>> Yeah . What now ? Tell me honestly , where

51:00, how do you want to sell it then ?

51:02>> List it for 46,900 .

51:04>> Okay .

51:05>> We’re being transparent , those are

51:06the market prices we see .

51:08>> So 46,900 , you’ll need to drop 3,000

51:10because of what you have to put into it

51:12.

51:12>> Yeah , hopefully only three . The

51:14technical check is still pending .

51:16>> Yeah , does it have the Mercedes-Benz

51:21warranty ? Does that make a difference ?

51:23I don't think the others had that .

51:24>> I’ll gladly take that as a plus . Yeah

51:26,

51:27>> as a plus ,

51:28>> because I think you pay 2,500 euros a

51:30year for the warranty extension on this

51:32car .

51:33>> We’re already at 46,900 , right ? I

51:35didn't say 44,900 like some of the

51:37other cars listed .

51:39>> I just wanted to say that the warranty ,

51:41it doesn't expire tomorrow or anything ,

51:43it has 190 days left , I believe .

51:45>> Very good . Important question . I think

51:47you’re being very transparent too .

51:48You’re talking about numbers too . How

51:50much do you still owe the bank ?

51:51>> Uh , 35,800 total .

51:53>> Okay , that’s good . Yeah ,

51:55>> that means we have no obstacle with the

51:56car being over-financed or anything ,

51:58>> right ? No , I have

51:59>> someone wrote 35,800 and the , and the

52:02loan is paid off . Something like that .

52:04>> What a bullseye .

52:06>> 800 , not eight .

52:07>> Well , Mercedes-Benz Bank said they’re

52:09watching tonight too , maybe they’re

52:11in the chat . Okay , cool . Best regards

52:13to Mercedes and the Mercedes-Benz Bank .

52:16Basically , as we said before , right ?

52:19Serkan’s saying is always Benz is

52:21Benz .

52:21>> Benz is Benz .

52:22>> But I have to say , it’s true .

52:24Somewhere , I really have to say , it’s

52:26true somewhere . Um , also , I generally

52:29celebrate all German car manufacturers ,

52:31but Mercedes really has its unique

52:33selling point at the end of the day . Um

52:36,

52:36>> I was actually being very parallel and

52:38simultaneous . I once treated myself to

52:40some beauties . I have an SLS AMG , an

52:44S580 Maybach , a BMW Z8 , and a BMW 7

52:47Series — the brand new one , it’s

52:50arriving next week . As cool , futuristic

52:55, and modern as the 7 Series is . That

53:00refinement you get when you step into

53:02the Mercedes , that final finish , that

53:03feeling is ultimately just different .

53:07>> Yeah , that thing ,

53:08>> it's always a step above .

53:09>> Here is the S-Class .

53:10>> Yes ,

53:11>> then there's a long gap . Then there's

53:12BMW and other cars .

53:13>> No , it’s not that bad . I mean , the

53:15BMW is also a brilliant vehicle .

53:17Especially regarding the infotainment ,

53:19and BMW has taken a very , very big step

53:22towards the future with the interior of

53:24the new 7 Series .

53:25>> Do you like it with the Renault-style

53:27screen ?

53:29>> I’ve already had a chance to drive it

53:30. Yes , I like it .

53:32>> The steering wheel is also completely

53:34redesigned . It looks a bit strange at

53:36first with the flat bottom , doesn't it ?

53:39>> It fits perfectly in the hand . Only the

53:41buttons are unfortunately not so easy

53:44>> to operate . They turned out a bit too

53:46small . That was my first impression

53:47when I drove the 7 Series a few days

53:49ago .

53:49>> But that’s also , I think , done on

53:51purpose for voice control and so on .

53:53>> Perhaps . Ferrari certainly did it for

53:55that reason too . Right , we’re going

53:59to do one thing . Um , we are now

54:01preparing for my monumental test drive

54:03across our grounds . I’ll drive the

54:06car out . I’ll take it around the yard

54:07once and then drive it into your

54:09service reception bay . We only have 33

54:10minutes left . Serk , you really need to

54:12go full throttle on the technical check

54:14now . Get the lift up before the car —

54:16no , that’s not possible . No. Right ,

54:18>> I’ve already seen everything I need

54:20to see .

54:20>> Good , then I’ll hand you the iPad now

54:22. You go ahead and chat .

54:24>> I’ll just take my phone off the

54:26windshield .

54:26>> Yes .

54:29>> 39 . Michael 39 ,

54:31>> did you say ? Uh ,

54:32>> I offered you . Yes .

54:33>> Yeah , haven't done it yet . Said yes .

54:35Okay , then that’s already good .

54:40>> So , interior . Listen to the sound again

54:42.

54:43>> Listen to the sound once more .

54:44>> I'm listening to the sound again . I’m

54:46listening to the sound again .

54:54>> Good .

54:55>> Dynamic down twice .

54:57>> Wait . Dynamic down twice , says the

54:59display . Again .

55:00>> Again .

55:01>> V8 biturbo .

55:02>> You want that good sound , right ?

55:04>> Yes .

55:06>> The interior is ready . Aha . Oh , nope .

55:12So , whether

55:13>> the ones on the internet all still have

55:15such an open exhaust .

55:17>> You mean like a burned-out one .

55:19>> Yes .

55:21>> So , test driv .

55:22>> Okay . I'll take I'll take

55:25>> a look . Old school . This reminds me of

55:28back in the day at the car market , the

55:30cars were all unregistered , so you

55:31couldn't really test drive them . Driven

55:35around the car market lot there .

55:38>> Well , the designers definitely did

55:39something right in that era .

55:41>> Yeah , really . Yeah , look at that .

55:49>> Good day .

55:50>> Good day .

55:51>> I'm taking it for a test drive .

55:52>> I'll be spinning around here 3000 times

55:54. Now I'll see if it also drives to the

55:57right . It drives well to the left , but

56:02joking aside . I have the steering wheel

56:05locked here too . Everything sounds good

56:07so far . I'm not allowed to take a

56:08camera with me now . Do you see that ?

56:10We've got satin matte in the back ,

56:12gloss , and so on . Well , those are the

56:14many teething troubles it has .

56:15>> Yeah ,

56:16>> that's interesting . The car is red .

56:18>> We're turning like this .

56:19>> Yes ,

56:19>> on the backup cam . Look , Serkan . Is it

56:22normal for the car to actually be red

56:24on the backup camera ? Seeing that for

56:27the first time .

56:28>> I didn't pay attention to that . I can't

56:30say .

56:30>> Isn't the car usually always white or

56:32grayed out like that ?

56:33>> Somehow black , I think .

56:35>> Michael , was it always red ?

56:36>> Excuse me ?

56:37>> This car here , was it always red ? Was

56:40>> always red .

56:40>> To all Mercedes drivers , is it true

56:42that the car is displayed here in the

56:44camera in the actual body color ?

56:45>> I didn't paint it with a marker . That

56:47much I can say .

56:51>> So. Now let's head out onto the lot .

56:57Serkan , I'll see you in the workshop .

57:02>> We haven't written anything in yet .

57:04>> Good , I'll see you in the workshop .

57:05>> Okay , let's f

57:06>> see you in a bit .

57:07>> I'll walk over there too . Yeah ,

57:09>> we'll walk together .

57:10>> We're taking the path across our yard .

57:14>> What about this path

57:16>> are you still allowed to sing that ?

57:17Door ,

57:18>> because there's trouble

57:19>> is sing everything

57:20>> evil is everything .

57:23>> Fabian , look ,

57:24>> could you maybe get out , so the viewers

57:26can see the car from the outside too ?

57:28>> How cool is that ? Show the guys .

57:30>> Awesome .

57:30>> Do we have another camera ? Okay . No ,

57:32then stay with me if another camera is

57:34filming .

57:36>> Good day .

57:40>> They're just sitting here .

57:43>> A bit bumpy , a bit rough , but we are in

57:45Sport Plus after all . Go away , go away ,

57:48go away . Run , run , run .

57:54>> That one’s got power , huh ?

57:55>> Are you heading out ?

57:57>> But hop out for a second , I’m on a

57:59test drive . We’ve got spectators on

58:01the sidelines . I haven’t driven it

58:03like that , so I can’t say . But with

58:09that groove in the middle of your

58:11parking lot , you don’t want to drive

58:12over it sideways , otherwise you’ll

58:14probably

58:14>> how do you get it sideways well

58:16>> with the is healthy . It’s actually

58:25okay . I’ll just take the spectators

58:27along for a second . Hi . Hi .

58:35>> How’s it going ?

58:36>> Everything’s good .

58:36>> What are you doing here with chairs ?

58:38>> We want to watch .

58:41>> Are you on the live stream too ?

58:42>> Yes , we have

58:43>> are you watching along ?

58:44>> Yes .

58:45>> What is the car worth ? Se 46

58:52>> 46 .

58:54>> Good .

58:55>> Likeable candidate .

58:57>> Yes , very likeable .

58:58>> Should we let him have it ? Yes , 100 % .

59:02>> We’ll see . I’m a car dealer .

59:04>> Are you coming back out later ?

59:06>> I’ll come out to you . See you later .

59:09Right , time to get it on the lift .

59:17>> So that’s , that’s

59:18>> all and everything really

59:27>> good

59:31>> so . Serkan . I’ll take over the live

59:35chat while you check the car . How

59:37>> much

59:38>> time do we have left ?

59:39>> Uh , not much anymore .

59:40>> Oh , not much left , huh ? Just about 29 ,

59:4328 minutes . 28:30 left , even a bit less

59:46. Good , go for it .

59:48>> Come on ,

59:49>> the next few minutes are yours .

59:50>> Okay ,

59:51>> Micha , go ahead and come along . Okay ,

59:53>> we’ll go straight up , because I’ve

59:55already seen everything on top . Front ,

1:00:03left , left , and your edge are painted .

1:00:08Is a painted hood bad or not bad for

1:00:10resale , how serious is it if the hood

1:00:12is painted ? Well , yeah , you have to

1:00:17mention it . I saw earlier that you had

1:00:20200 microns . That’s definitely been

1:00:21repainted once .

1:00:22>> With this color , it could also be due

1:00:24to rock chips , because look at how good

1:00:26it looks .

1:00:27>> Yeah ,

1:00:27>> so relatively few rock chips . I mean ,

1:00:29it has rock chips , but I do think it

1:00:31was repainted at some point .

1:00:32>> You can see the plastic parts .

1:00:34>> I mean , I definitely got it like that .

1:00:36With , what did I buy it for back then ?

1:00:3887,000 km .

1:00:40>> I think I put 20,000 km on it , and in

1:00:42my time , I definitely didn’t repaint

1:00:44anything .

1:00:45>> Why are you actually selling ? A few

1:00:46people are wondering that right now .

1:00:49>> Honestly . So I

1:00:50>> did your doctor say , buy a Porsche ?

1:00:53>> No , but look , this is also perhaps hard

1:00:55to understand , but you get used to

1:00:57everything . I've been driving this car

1:01:01for three years now

1:01:03>> and let's be honest , I can't really do

1:01:05anything with this car other than it

1:01:07bringing me some relaxation , but

1:01:08relaxation — I could just start playing

1:01:10soccer again or something . That would

1:01:13be good for me too . Then I don't have

1:01:15to pay a 600 € monthly installment ,

1:01:17plus insurance and this and that .

1:01:20Serkan behind .

1:01:21>> Oh .

1:01:24>> And next , I'd like to buy a Touran from

1:01:262014 again . A diesel one . That's a

1:01:30solid car . I had one for a long time in

1:01:32Ukraine .

1:01:33>> I once drove 170,000 km in a car like

1:01:36that .

1:01:36>> Yeah , the Touran keeps going .

1:01:38>> I got it with 200,000 km and put

1:01:40170,000 km on it until ...

1:01:43>> and it just keeps running and running

1:01:44and running , and you could do anything

1:01:46with that car ,

1:01:47>> like , practical things too .

1:01:49>> Mhm . It has plenty of space .

1:01:52>> Karim Fellbert writes : " Umit and Serkan

1:01:54, I'm watching with my dad . Can you say

1:01:57hi to me and my father ? That would be

1:01:59really sweet . " Sending warm greetings

1:02:01out to you and your dad .

1:02:02>> That part is here , he's not sitting

1:02:04here .

1:02:04>> Okay , now it's about the car . Come on ,

1:02:06let's take a look .

1:02:07>> Now it's about the car . Real quick . So ,

1:02:09a few minor things . We have a dent here

1:02:11. This part isn't seated right . The

1:02:12front left rim has been reworked a bit .

1:02:14The rims here were also reworked a

1:02:16little . You can see it in this , almost

1:02:18this imperfection . Look , it's

1:02:20completely cracked here , but this matte

1:02:22black from Mercedes — you can't help

1:02:24that , the quality is just trash anyway .

1:02:26>> It's really shoddy . So the rims need to

1:02:29be completely refurbished anyway ,

1:02:30because you can't get any of that out .

1:02:33>> But I think that's the only rim that

1:02:34has those little issues .

1:02:37>> Bring your chairs . it has it too .

1:02:38>> Okay .

1:02:40>> Front . Yeah , here it's clean again . The

1:02:42front left and the rear right . They

1:02:43have that . Okay . Okay .

1:02:45>> Otherwise , we have a

1:02:47>> very unkempt vehicle . At how many

1:02:48kilometers did you buy it ?

1:02:50>> Come on , I'll open the gate for you .

1:02:51>> 84 thousand .

1:02:52>> So I had , or 86,000 , I put 20,000 km on

1:02:56it .

1:02:56>> Come on .

1:02:57>> So , I just invited the guys to bring

1:02:59their chairs . Serkan , we'll be right

1:03:01back with you .

1:03:02>> No stress , I'm already taking half the

1:03:04car apart here . So , I'd say we bring

1:03:06the guys in .

1:03:07>> Is it , is something already off ? I'm

1:03:09opening the gate for you .

1:03:10>> Simply not good .

1:03:12>> Is that normal ?

1:03:13>> So , guys , faster . We don't have much

1:03:16time . Come on , quick , faster , faster ,

1:03:23faster , faster , faster . They don't have

1:03:26to sit by the fence , right ? Shall we

1:03:28bring them in ? We were just talking

1:03:30about how we need a few viewers in the

1:03:31background . Let's do that now . So , and

1:03:38then like this . Alright guys , look , I

1:03:41would suggest ,

1:03:43>> we'll bring you in . Where's the best

1:03:48place for you to sit ? Best right here .

1:03:50Here you can Hi , hey ,

1:03:52>> welcome .

1:03:53>> Come on in . Hi , Arthur .

1:03:55>> Hi Asel .

1:03:56>> Loren .

1:03:56>> Hi Loren .

1:03:57>> Hi . You guys brought cool chairs .

1:04:00>> Good . This is legendary already .

1:04:07>> Hey .

1:04:09>> Hello .

1:04:11>> So , your job is to applaud , laugh , and

1:04:13boo in the background . Yeah , you know

1:04:16that from old sitcoms . We'll be right

1:04:18back with the car . Yeah , that's the

1:04:24cool thing about live . That's the cool

1:04:26thing about live . I love it . So , I took

1:04:29care of the audience .

1:04:30>> Yeah .

1:04:30>> Yes . Tell us what you discovered on the

1:04:33car .

1:04:33>> Well , many people wrote that I should

1:04:35pull off the trunk lip .

1:04:36>> Yes ,

1:04:37>> because , I think because of the last

1:04:39video ,

1:04:39>> so , not the trunk lip , but I can pull

1:04:41off this fender flare here .

1:04:43>> Yeah . Oh , okay . It's sitting a bit

1:04:46loose . Just glued , right ?

1:04:47>> Yeah . The tab is broken here . Mount .

1:04:50You can also see the damage here ,

1:04:51>> here , right ?

1:04:52>> You can see the damage and the part is

1:04:54too , it's too new . I think it has to do

1:04:56with the frontal damage , or with , not

1:04:58frontal damage ,

1:04:59>> with the front damage . Otherwise , we

1:05:02actually have an it's okay .

1:05:04>> I have a very important question for

1:05:06you , Ser .

1:05:06>> Yes ,

1:05:07>> a very important question .

1:05:09>> Always .

1:05:10>> We've had this problem many times

1:05:12before . Squeaky valves on the AMG .

1:05:15>> Yes .

1:05:16>> Did it squeak ?

1:05:17>> No.

1:05:17>> I didn't hear anything .

1:05:18>> No.

1:05:19>> Did you pay attention to it ?

1:05:21>> I'm relieved . I don't want to have that

1:05:23discussion again . That discussion too ,

1:05:25right ? That's also always hotly debated

1:05:26in the community . Yeah , just let it

1:05:28squeak , just grease it up . We know your

1:05:32stance . Greasing lasts until noon .

1:05:36>> We've already greased it .

1:05:37>> Yeah ,

1:05:38>> lasts until noon at best . And by the

1:05:40way , some wrote , oh no , there are

1:05:42retrofit kits , there's this , there's

1:05:44that , my Mercedes guy says no .

1:05:46>> Okay .

1:05:48>> Do you guys ever get mail from any car

1:05:50manufacturers saying , " Hey , please

1:05:52don't say things like that . " Never ,

1:05:54never ,

1:05:54>> and don't want to write . I would say

1:05:56anyway .

1:05:56>> Yes , sure . The thing is , we respect all

1:05:59car manufacturers , but the truth should

1:06:01be allowed to be told . So , uh , I stand

1:06:04there and celebrate the models and name

1:06:06them , and also what I like very , very

1:06:08much , which doesn't mean that if an

1:06:10exhaust flap squeaks , we won't say it

1:06:12squeaks .

1:06:12>> The problem is , we have almost every

1:06:14manufacturer in our fleet .

1:06:16>> Yes . There's nothing we don't drive .

1:06:18You , you drive , you drive a Chinese one

1:06:21.

1:06:21>> You have more cars than I do . I have to

1:06:23say , I found the videos interesting

1:06:24because

1:06:25>> it gets even more interesting . Now

1:06:27>> he has a Chinese car registered under

1:06:28his name .

1:06:29>> Yes . H O , you know

1:06:31>> a " 31er , " if

1:06:35>> then on the E-car

1:06:36>> a " 31er " against the German automotive

1:06:38industry .

1:06:38>> No , because of that , that's more the

1:06:40Turkish 31 .

1:06:41>> Yes ,

1:06:44>> Ser tried to dribble around it , right ?

1:06:46You tried to dribble around it . You

1:06:47didn't want to . You just didn't want to

1:06:49. We have videos of you that they sent

1:06:52me , how you explain at the board what

1:06:54that means . Car sub ,

1:06:58>> but really with these and these

1:07:00>> we do .

1:07:01>> So , further

1:07:02>> 21 minutes left , rim damaged on the

1:07:04inside . Show me .

1:07:05>> Rim damaged on the inside .

1:07:07>> Can I see it for a second too ? Feel

1:07:08free to come along .

1:07:09>> Here .

1:07:10>> Wait , I'm coming .

1:07:11>> Careful , don't hit your head .

1:07:13>> Okay . Is it something you can still fix

1:07:15, or is it like that ?

1:07:16>> Yes , yes , yes , yes , yes . The rim is

1:07:18damaged on the inside . Omit , you know

1:07:21that next time you'll have 200 people

1:07:23standing in front of your gate . A

1:07:25problem .

1:07:26>> You have a problem now , my friend .

1:07:28>> Why ?

1:07:29>> Next time there will be 200 people

1:07:30there

1:07:31>> or more .

1:07:32>> We are evolving . We can think of

1:07:34something for the future . Maybe some

1:07:37kind of free ticket contingent , so

1:07:39people can apply . Tickets for free ,

1:07:41definitely not paid .

1:07:42>> Okay . You could set up a grandstand or

1:07:44even a studio . Like on " Heute Show " or

1:07:47something , or " TV total " ? Well , I'm

1:07:49happy to think about something for our

1:07:51future live events . Especially , I think

1:07:54we're doing it for the first time on

1:07:55the 28th . October . So for those who

1:07:59haven't heard it yet , we're launching

1:08:01our very , very big first live event on

1:08:02the 28th . October . Last Car Standing .

1:08:07You can apply for it from now on . We

1:08:09are looking for the coolest car in our

1:08:10community . No matter what kind of car

1:08:13it is — a very expensive car , a budget

1:08:15car , a tuned car , a custom build , a JDM

1:08:18, whatever it is . If you think you

1:08:19drive the coolest car in the community ,

1:08:21then please apply with us . We will

1:08:24invite ten cars and then the live chat

1:08:26gets to vote . We always do it like this

1:08:29: we start with two cars , we introduce

1:08:31the cars , the candidates introduce

1:08:32themselves and their cars , and then the

1:08:35live chat decides which car stays and

1:08:37which one goes . Then we bring in the

1:08:39next car . Then we get to know that car ,

1:08:41have the battle between the cars again ,

1:08:43the live chat decides again , and we

1:08:45play that for 10 rounds . The car that

1:08:49survives the tenth round is officially

1:08:51the coolest car of the day , and the

1:08:53winner gets € 5,000 with that car . We

1:08:58will select a winner every month , and

1:09:00at the end of the year , we'll have 12

1:09:02monthly winners who each received €

1:09:045,000 . Then we do the big annual battle

1:09:08, and the winner of the year gets

1:09:10another € 25,000 on top . You can

1:09:12apply for this . We have the link in our

1:09:14video description . So apply right now .

1:09:17As I said , only ten cars will actually

1:09:20make it onto our show , and for that , I

1:09:22might also consider — we'll come up

1:09:23with something — inviting a few

1:09:25spectators here to join us , having a

1:09:27certain ticket quota . We need to

1:09:30coordinate the whole thing , security ,

1:09:32what we’re allowed to do , and then

1:09:33we'll raffle off the tickets for free

1:09:35among our viewers . With pleasure , final

1:09:37verdict on costs .

1:09:39>> Whoa , the cost thing . Can we please do

1:09:41that together ?

1:09:42>> We can do that together . What have we

1:09:44got ? So we have the pre -

1:09:45>> I'm lowering the car again . Yeah .

1:09:47>> Yes . The detailing , we have that — what

1:09:49do you estimate the brakes for a GLC

1:09:50cost ?

1:09:51>> Down 1 or Down 2 ?

1:09:53>> Uh , as long as it's not down one .

1:09:56>> Always cool . The lift goes up first and

1:09:58then down .

1:09:59>> Safety mechanism .

1:10:00>> Yeah .

1:10:01>> Yes .

1:10:01>> Do we still have time to run or what ?

1:10:04>> So if you somehow — I’m assuming

1:10:05based on what you said last time — you

1:10:07have to put it in the yard .

1:10:09>> Hmm .

1:10:10>> Are we redoing the rims or not ?

1:10:13That’s not proportional . How damaged

1:10:15is the rim ?

1:10:16>> The rim isn't broken , but the matte

1:10:17finish is dead . Look , here is — here is

1:10:19refurbishing , my friend .

1:10:21>> Do we have to or

1:10:22>> refurbish , not replace

1:10:24>> but by refurbishing I mean uh

1:10:27>> You'll make them look nice without us

1:10:28having to repaint them .

1:10:31>> No way at all .

1:10:33>> How am I supposed to do that ? The matte

1:10:35, the wrong cleaners , the acid ate into

1:10:37the rim everywhere . all of it

1:10:40>> Wait , I'll take a look at it once our

1:10:42lift is down eventually .

1:10:43>> Take a look

1:10:44>> or wait , I'll leave it exactly at this

1:10:45height , then I can see the rim better .

1:10:48>> So , question for you , Sean , you mean

1:10:50these marks here ?

1:10:51>> Yes .

1:10:52>> Question for the chat , let's get some

1:10:53more light on it . Look at that . It's

1:10:56eaten right in .

1:10:57>> Yeah , you can't get that out .

1:10:58>> That's not dirt .

1:10:59>> No , no , no , you can't get that out .

1:11:01That's from the cleaner .

1:11:02>> Okay . Oh , and that's the question .

1:11:04What's your opinion , Michael ? Well ,

1:11:06I've never seen it like that before .

1:11:08But if it's there , I can't just make it

1:11:10go away , right ? So ,

1:11:11>> no , but would you , if you were buying

1:11:13this car now , inspecting it , would that

1:11:15be a dealbreaker for you or not ?

1:11:16>> Well ,

1:11:17>> or did you want it nice and clean in

1:11:18matte black ?

1:11:20>> Well , for me , there's often this , what

1:11:23do you call it , an 80/30 rule . Like , do

1:11:26you know the principle where people say

1:11:28,

1:11:28>> so 70 , yeah , but 80/30 is a first for

1:11:31me .

1:11:31>> Sorry . Yeah , that's live for you . My

1:11:33bad .

1:11:34>> 110 % for us . No , no , it suits you . You

1:11:38always give 110 % too .

1:11:39>> Yeah , okay . That's why I

1:11:41>> No , I said I'm learning something new .

1:11:42>> Yeah , no . Yeah , sorry . Yeah , that

1:11:45>> so the chat says , absolutely not .

1:11:47>> some say leave it , no need to do

1:11:49anything . Whatever , new . Well , you can

1:11:51tell .

1:11:52>> Quick question , can you see Serkan , has

1:11:54it been like this for a long time or

1:11:55did it happen recently ? Can you tell

1:11:57somehow , or is that ?

1:11:58>> No , that was already like that before

1:11:59your time . You can also see here , for

1:12:01example , it was sprayed matte black

1:12:02with a rattle can . See that right here ?

1:12:03>> Okay . Okay . Wow ,

1:12:05>> Boss , see for yourself here .

1:12:06>> Something was sprayed here before .

1:12:07Something was smart-repaired here or

1:12:08something . That's why you have the

1:12:10unevenness here .

1:12:10>> Felix , please start a poll in the live

1:12:12chat . Whether the rims should be done .

1:12:14Do the rims . Costs 400 euros per rim

1:12:17>> round about . Yeah , so we basically coat

1:12:19them , then they have to be finished

1:12:20again

1:12:21>> or is a grand enough , or is it not

1:12:22enough ?

1:12:23>> Doesn't matter what I say . You've

1:12:24already got a grand in your head .

1:12:25>> A grand . So , question for the chat .

1:12:28Should we deduct € 1000 from the

1:12:30price , or charge € 1000 more and fix

1:12:32the rims ? Please vote , no pressure .

1:12:34>> Mm .

1:12:35>> So , then we have the catastrophic paint

1:12:38surface . That is , that's already

1:12:40included in the preparation .

1:12:43>> I would just fix those few plastic

1:12:45parts , let's say , fix them with Smart

1:12:47Repair ,

1:12:47>> right ? Uh , the trunk spoiler lip is

1:12:51painted blue .

1:12:53>> Yes ,

1:12:53>> we have to paint that in the body color

1:12:55again .

1:12:55>> That'll set you back another € 200 or

1:12:57so , give or take . Uh , the fact that

1:12:59they didn't quite match the color of

1:13:01the hood doesn't bother me right now .

1:13:02We'll leave that as is . I for you

1:13:04brakes . What do you think the brakes

1:13:06will cost ,

1:13:07>> chat ? What do the brakes cost ? I'd

1:13:09estimate the front axle at 1500 . Rear

1:13:11axle needs to be done too .

1:13:12>> Ah , I think the rear axle can go a

1:13:14little bit more ,

1:13:15>> it's a tad better . I'd say the front

1:13:18axle will be due in the next 5000 km .

1:13:20>> Rear axle 15,000 km .

1:13:23>> You can still drive on that .

1:13:25>> Okay ,

1:13:26>> so give or take . Okay ,

1:13:28>> brand new . Service needs to be done .

1:13:31>> Service , I'd say roundabouts , I'd say a

1:13:33five-spot is exactly right . So , if you

1:13:35were to do everything , do the rims , the

1:13:38rims , detailing ,

1:13:40>> but then it would look top-notch again .

1:13:42Top-notch ,

1:13:43>> then it'll stand there for 469 looking

1:13:45great .

1:13:45>> Yeah , because with the others we're

1:13:46looking at ...

1:13:47>> You don't know ,

1:13:48>> you don't know if you might have to put

1:13:49another four or five grand into those

1:13:50to make them top-notch ,

1:13:51>> what the tires are like , what the

1:13:53brakes are like , how everything is , and

1:13:55you still have a warranty .

1:13:56>> Yes . It's a balancing act . Yeah , put a

1:13:59grand more into it and sell it for a

1:14:01grand more . I'd say in the end it's the

1:14:03same thing .

1:14:06>> You could say it costs € 5000 and

1:14:08list it for 479 , or say it costs €

1:14:114000 and list it for 469 .

1:14:15>> In the end , you're the pro .

1:14:17>> It's six of one , half a dozen of the

1:14:18other , as they say . Six of one , half a

1:14:20dozen of the other — well , in Mannheim ,

1:14:22I think they say " hopped like doped . "

1:14:23>> Really ?

1:14:24>> Yeah . A

1:14:28>> good , so costs , we'll go with four .

1:14:32>> Thank you . Right , I'd say I'll drive

1:14:35back inside now . You can go say hi to

1:14:36the guys . Don't be startled . Serkan . Go

1:14:39ahead and go to the guys .

1:14:40>> Where are they ?

1:14:40>> They're sitting inside . You can't miss

1:14:42them .

1:14:42>> Yeah , you guys go with Ser .

1:14:44>> How much time do we have left ? I hope

1:14:46it's not

1:14:46>> We're checking the time now .

1:14:51>> Imagine coming back and time is at zero

1:14:53. Ah , 12 minutes .

1:14:57>> Guys , what's up ?

1:14:59>> Look at them . Did you pay for entry ?

1:15:02>> No.

1:15:02>> We snuck in .

1:15:03>> Snuck in .

1:15:06>> Hi , nice to meet you .

1:15:08>> How ?

1:15:12>> What's your name ?

1:15:13>> Hello .

1:15:14>> Leon .

1:15:20>> Solid . Thailander . Can you tell ?

1:15:22>> Yes , I can . If you bring in audience

1:15:36members for 5 € , you know , it looks

1:15:38like you have to clap when I say clap .

1:15:40>> Okay , we need to

1:15:43>> yeah , where was it standing earlier ? It

1:15:45was standing further by me .

1:16:02>> So , for you guys , in a non-live setting

1:16:05, you'd park the car at this point .

1:16:07Forward , back , forward , back , scene

1:16:09change , and then it would continue .

1:16:12Guys , what do you say ? Yeah , definitely

1:16:14.

1:16:14>> Price-wise . What should we do today ?

1:16:17>> I didn't catch the inspection . Just now

1:16:19.

1:16:19>> 4000 € costs , 469 . Can you sell it ?

1:16:23>> Are you offering it at 469 ?

1:16:25>> No , no , that's the online one .

1:16:27>> On mobile.de .

1:16:29>> Yeah , that's good for you . You're

1:16:30Albanian , right ? D

1:16:34>> Let's say 469 , we want to earn 4000 .

1:16:38That means we'd have to buy it for 43 .

1:16:40We have 4000 € in costs . We're back

1:16:43to the 39 I offered you .

1:16:44>> Mm . So , what are we doing ? We still

1:16:48have 10 minutes .

1:16:49>> We have 10 minutes left now . Yes ,

1:16:50negotiations start now . Okay . Um , I've

1:16:57always been fair in my life , and I have

1:16:58to say , all the points you made and

1:17:00that the chat made , they hold water . So

1:17:03, what should I say ? It's not like that

1:17:05. Makes no sense .

1:17:07>> Um , I came here thinking , okay , the car

1:17:09is maybe worth 49 retail . Now we have a

1:17:14difference of 10,000 € . You say 39 , I

1:17:20say You know what hurts a bit ?

1:17:24>> Mhm .

1:17:24>> That I still have in the back of my

1:17:26mind .

1:17:26>> Boxing . Boxing hurts .

1:17:28>> Yeah , that too .

1:17:29>> Yeah ,

1:17:30>> but also , um , that I have in the back

1:17:32of my mind how much I paid for it .

1:17:34>> What did you pay ?

1:17:35>> Back then , it was already cheap .

1:17:37>> When did you buy it ?

1:17:37>> 2023 . It was just 5 years old then .

1:17:40>> Three years ago .

1:17:41>> Yeah ,

1:17:41>> but that was already post-covid ,

1:17:43meaning prices had already gone down ,

1:17:45but it's still 3 years ago after all .

1:17:47You paid 579 , I'd say . More .

1:17:52>> More .

1:17:53>> How much ? A lot more six before it .

1:17:55>> 69

1:17:57>> nah and whoa . But I tell you ,

1:18:00>> now you guys need to make shocked

1:18:01noises .

1:18:05>> But you know , look , my thought process

1:18:06behind it was the following . I looked ,

1:18:09as I said , Germany-wide , just the

1:18:11cheapest " Junge Sterne " certified

1:18:13pre-owned , and back then it was really

1:18:15like that , prices fell after Covid . It

1:18:17was , I remember , listed for 80 and then

1:18:19they really lowered it by € 5,000

1:18:21within two weeks . Maybe the dealership

1:18:23actually took a really bad loss on it ,

1:18:25because who knows what price they

1:18:26bought it for . It was a wild time back

1:18:28then .

1:18:29>> Um

1:18:33>> yeah , and I bought it for 69 because I

1:18:35said I want the " Junge Sterne " warranty

1:18:37; if something happens with a car like

1:18:39that and I'm financing it , I'm left

1:18:41with nothing .

1:18:43>> They're saying something about being

1:18:45ripped off .

1:18:45>> Ripped off .

1:18:46>> He got ripped off .

1:18:48>> Yeah .

1:18:49>> Well . Nah , I don't think I got ripped

1:18:51off .

1:18:53>> Did you apply certain filters back then

1:18:55that limited your search for the car

1:18:56significantly ?

1:18:57>> Nah , not that . I searched really

1:18:59broadly . I really just looked for the

1:19:01cheapest GLC 63S nationwide as a " Junge

1:19:03Sterne " certified one , and that was it ,

1:19:05I got it in Braunschweig . I drove all

1:19:07the way to Braunschweig for it . I'm

1:19:08from Freiburg . Down south , the cars

1:19:10were actually still a lot more

1:19:11expensive back then .

1:19:12>> Crazy .

1:19:13>> And this isn't my ... I mean , I've bought

1:19:15one or two " Junge Sterne " cars before .

1:19:18The Sprinter outside was also a " Junge

1:19:20Sterne " and I have a very good

1:19:22connection . I've never felt scammed by

1:19:24our trusted local Mercedes dealer , and

1:19:26he told me back then : go to

1:19:28Braunschweig , get that thing , because

1:19:30you won't find it here .

1:19:31>> So scammed , I would say no , I wouldn't

1:19:33go that far . Now I just have to face

1:19:36reality and say , okay , I wasted a lot

1:19:38of money . Yeah , that really hurts .

1:19:41>> It definitely does

1:19:42>> especially because , again , I'm already

1:19:44struggling with it internally , asking

1:19:46myself : was it , was it really worth it ?

1:19:48Especially in light of the fact that I

1:19:50already have a guilty conscience .

1:19:51>> 69 to 39 would be € 30,000 loss in 3

1:19:54years but

1:19:56>> whoa , that's extreme

1:19:58>> intense

1:19:59>> don't talk , just the noises .

1:20:00>> If you guys keep doing that , you'll get

1:20:02a fee at the end of the evening or

1:20:03>> once more now .

1:20:04>> Whoa ,

1:20:05>> wait , wait , I'll say it again and then

1:20:07you guys do it . Yes .

1:20:08>> Wow , that's a € 30,000 loss in 3

1:20:11years .

1:20:11>> Whoa .

1:20:14>> Yeah , on the other hand , everything is

1:20:16always relative , right ? So ,

1:20:18>> relatively irrelevant .

1:20:19>> Yeah , well , it is pretty intense ,

1:20:21though . I mean , on a car like that , 30

1:20:23in 3 years .

1:20:24>> Honestly , I actually speculated a bit

1:20:26back then that the value might stay

1:20:28relatively stable or maybe even go up a

1:20:30bit , because before Covid , back when I

1:20:32was younger , I had a CLA 45 Shooting

1:20:34Brake , the

1:20:36>> old

1:20:37>> one , and I bought it for 28k from a

1:20:39dealer and brought it back to the same

1:20:41dealer a year later for 35 , just

1:20:43because of Corona . I drove it for a

1:20:44year for free and made a 7,000 profit .

1:20:46Yeah , those were good times back then ,

1:20:48but the profits we made back then are

1:20:50gone now . They’ve also — I mean , cars

1:20:53have lost value disproportionately over

1:20:55the last three years .

1:20:58>> Yeah ,

1:20:58>> you have to look at it that way .

1:21:00>> Yeah ,

1:21:01>> money hurts , but the story of the car

1:21:03and how you got it stays .

1:21:05>> That’s true . And you have to say one

1:21:09thing , with everything I've experienced

1:21:11, what no one can ever take away from

1:21:13me is that I drove my absolute dream

1:21:15car from the age of 24 to 27 . And that

1:21:19was at a time when I didn't have much

1:21:20else to be happy about . And real talk ,

1:21:22that might sound like , for some people

1:21:24out there , " What is this guy talking

1:21:26about ? " But it was worth it to me , to

1:21:29an extent .

1:21:29>> Look , real talk , 39 , we've still got 5

1:21:32minutes and 56 seconds .

1:21:34>> Come on , I'll meet you halfway with a

1:21:36huge leap .

1:21:36>> Don't say 45 ,

1:21:38>> right ?

1:21:38>> Good .

1:21:39>> 41 .

1:21:40>> 41 ,

1:21:42>> I'm into something really big now . Now

1:21:45it's about . Now it's about . You really

1:21:49have to incorporate that . That's a cool

1:21:51element . I would , I would use

1:21:52scaffolding to put a light gallery in

1:21:54here and then I'd put them up there .

1:21:56Then you've got like 100 people

1:21:57creating a vibe .

1:21:58>> Look , 41 , 4,000 euro costs , 45 , 469 , I

1:22:02can list it for that .

1:22:04>> Do you think ?

1:22:05>> Yes ,

1:22:05>> for sure .

1:22:06>> Yeah ,

1:22:06>> not like chat .

1:22:07>> Is that also

1:22:08>> 48-49 ?

1:22:09>> Unfortunately not . No , at 48-49 , the

1:22:11cars have 60 , 70,000 km on them . Yeah ,

1:22:14okay .

1:22:14>> So unfortunately , I have to stick with

1:22:1739 for now .

1:22:17>> Okay . Yeah , that's pretty wild , right ?

1:22:24What's my payoff amount again ? 38 still

1:22:27to the bank , so I'll just go home with

1:22:29500 euros and have no car anymore

1:22:33>> and no more debt .

1:22:34>> And no more debt and no monthly costs .

1:22:36>> Always very positive , right ?

1:22:38>> Yeah ,

1:22:38>> that was a great argument . Come on , but

1:22:40you have to say , I don't have to do the

1:22:42service myself either . If I do it

1:22:44myself , I'll save another € 2,000 ,

1:22:46great .

1:22:46>> So , then warranty in 6 months .

1:22:48>> That’s really , really well calculated

1:22:50. Really good .

1:22:51>> I know , I know .

1:22:52>> So , let's calculate it , right ? 39 + €

1:22:544,000 is 43 . Even then , I would have a

1:22:57margin of € 3,900 on the target

1:22:59purchase price .

1:23:00>> Without negotiating .

1:23:01>> Yeah , I understand .

1:23:02>> So , I'm not going to get rich , I'm

1:23:04being very ambitious .

1:23:05>> Yes , 100 % . I just need , I still have 4

1:23:07minutes and 22 seconds . I just need a

1:23:09quick

1:23:10>> and with these gas prices .

1:23:11>> Yeah , and maybe I'll get myself one of

1:23:13those China Chinese things soon .

1:23:15>> Chinese from China .

1:23:16>> Yeah , like a China electric thing .

1:23:18>> Yes ,

1:23:19>> that's what I mean .

1:23:19>> Yeah ,

1:23:20>> don't get me wrong , chat .

1:23:22>> Barely has 500 € in his pocket . And

1:23:24he buys a Chinese car .

1:23:27>> Oh man . Um yeah , but it is pretty crazy

1:23:33. All right then . Will you help me find

1:23:39a Touareg with 200 , 250,000 km or

1:23:41something ? Chat , let's help him find a

1:23:44Touareg . I think so , yeah , on a budget .

1:23:49So , as cheap as possible , because it

1:23:51just needs to be solid for long

1:23:52distances .

1:23:53>> '14 Touareg ,

1:23:54>> yeah , right ? '14 ,

1:23:56>> do they still cost 15 these days ,

1:23:58>> I mean with real , with really high

1:24:00mileage , but long distance and stuff ,

1:24:02they go for 10 , right ? 11 .

1:24:04>> Yeah , I would say a good car , a very

1:24:06good car . You should be able to pick

1:24:09one up for 15 , 16 , 17 , 18 ,

1:24:11>> but I'll take one that's a bit

1:24:12>> beat up . Yeah , but I'm going to drive

1:24:14it through Ukraine .

1:24:15>> Okay .

1:24:16>> The Sprinter is also my private car .

1:24:18>> Big diesel , right ?

1:24:19>> Yeah ,

1:24:19>> with the diesels , they

1:24:21>> also come as V8s .

1:24:22>> No , no , no . There's also a six-cylinder

1:24:25.

1:24:25>> No , but they do come as V8s .

1:24:27>> Also available as a V8 . If so , then I

1:24:29mean they also come as a V ... Are they

1:24:30available as a V8 ?

1:24:31>> I think so .

1:24:32>> Yeah . Yes .

1:24:34>> Yeah . Okay . What do you say ?

1:24:35>> 39 ,

1:24:36>> still , and I say 41 .

1:24:38>> Yeah .

1:24:39>> And I say , I have 2 minutes 40 left .

1:24:41Okay , so that's the middle ground

1:24:43actually , or do you say that’s

1:24:45impossible ? Is it rude if I say that

1:24:47now ?

1:24:47>> It's not rude . You can say anything ,

1:24:49but I'm sticking with 39 .

1:24:50>> I wouldn't say anything , like , let's

1:24:52not start insulting people and all , but

1:24:54>> No , no , that's not how I was raised .

1:24:56>> Time's running out .

1:24:57>> I had a birthday

1:24:58>> and anniversary last week .

1:25:00>> Okay ,

1:25:02>> congratulations .

1:25:03>> Thank you . Two years already . My wife

1:25:06is up there . Okay . Am I even allowed to

1:25:09do this ? 25

1:25:10>> what

1:25:11>> at that price

1:25:12>> letting the car go

1:25:13>> she's nodding , she's nodding .

1:25:15>> You have to ask .

1:25:16>> Mhm .

1:25:18>> As soon as you're married , you have no

1:25:20say anymore .

1:25:20>> 2 minutes left .

1:25:23>> So I say , you say 39 .

1:25:25>> Mhm .

1:25:27>> Exactly 2 minutes .

1:25:32>> You say , will you go a bit more , not a

1:25:35cent . 39 . We're already at 39 to 44.3 .

1:25:38>> You're right . What helps ? What helps ?

1:25:40Come on , let's do 39 .

1:25:42>> 39 .

1:25:44>> Let's do one .

1:25:45>> What

1:25:46>> to do ? 45 .

1:25:49>> Michael would have sold me the car for

1:25:5139 now . But I can't just let you leave

1:25:54like this . I was primarily concerned

1:25:55about one thing . How do you negotiate ?

1:25:59That was more than a fair value . €

1:26:0139,000 . Yes ,

1:26:03>> you would have been very well served

1:26:05with that today . But hey , with your

1:26:07story

1:26:08>> I'm not letting you go with 39,000 ,

1:26:10think about when that happens .

1:26:12>> I know you way too well . I'm paying you

1:26:15€ 45,000 for the car . So more than

1:26:18you'd get anywhere in Germany today for

1:26:19this car in this condition .

1:26:21>> You decide yourself what to do with the

1:26:23money . If you say , some of it goes to

1:26:25the aid projects , that's fine . If you

1:26:27say , hey , this is mine , I need the cash

1:26:29for the Touareg soon , then it's yours .

1:26:32That's up to you , I want to tell you

1:26:33that I respect deeply what you've done

1:26:35in your life . You were in Lebanon , you

1:26:38were at the Gaza border , and as a

1:26:40German .

1:26:41>> Yes .

1:26:41>> Yes . And as a German . And I don't mean

1:26:44the politics . You were in Ukraine . Yes .

1:26:47You were there , you helped people , you

1:26:50saved families . You were in situations

1:26:53that hardly any of us could handle

1:26:54mentally . Stop crying , or I'll start

1:26:56crying too .

1:26:57>> Sorry , it's emotionally difficult right

1:26:59now .

1:26:59>> And that deserves recognition , my

1:27:01friend . That deserves recognition .

1:27:03>> Thank you . If you say so , then it is so

1:27:05.

1:27:05>> € 45,000 , do you accept ?

1:27:09>> Can I , can I give you a hug ?

1:27:11>> Of course .

1:27:12>> We have a

1:27:13>> We reacted correctly for once . Learning

1:27:15too .

1:27:17>> Oh man , wow . € 45,000 . You just sold

1:27:21your car . Congratulations .

1:27:23>> This will take a little time now , but

1:27:25hey , I'm telling you in all seriousness

1:27:27, I didn't expect this . I was

1:27:29>> Time is up .

1:27:30>> Yeah ,

1:27:31>> wow .

1:27:35>> I really was , I didn't come here and , I

1:27:37mean I saw the chat and the points were

1:27:39valid and everything , and I almost felt

1:27:41ashamed to haggle at the end . Others

1:27:46might have done it very differently . I

1:27:47was raised to be a bit humble , and so

1:27:49people will say again , now he's talking

1:27:51about humility and stands in front of

1:27:52the

1:27:54>> I was hoping the whole time that you

1:27:55would just follow my recommendation and

1:27:57take the 39 . I had already prepared it

1:28:00in my head .

1:28:01>> Okay , but

1:28:02>> I wanted , for the viewers , the one

1:28:04thing is the negotiating ,

1:28:06>> so that you know exactly how to

1:28:08negotiate and the viewers see it too ,

1:28:09right ? I mean , if you stick to a

1:28:11standpoint price-wise , the 39 , right ?

1:28:14Usually it's like , let's do 42 , then

1:28:16I'll do 39.5 , then I'll do 40 , then you

1:28:19do 40.5 , and eventually we meet in the

1:28:21middle . But also for you guys , for

1:28:23negotiating , you saw it , I shamelessly

1:28:25stayed completely stubborn .

1:28:27>> I said 39 every single time , that's all

1:28:29there is

1:28:31>> and I pulled you to my price , knowing

1:28:33full well that things would turn out

1:28:34differently for you today , but that's

1:28:36how you negotiate , guys . But no , you

1:28:39deserved it . Guys , you heard his story

1:28:43earlier . Did you hear it ?

1:28:44>> What ?

1:28:45>> Did you hear his story earlier , caught

1:28:47it at the Z ?

1:28:47>> What do you say to that ?

1:28:48>> That's super .

1:28:50>> It also motivates others to go in that

1:28:52direction themselves

1:28:54>> to help . Definitely .

1:28:56>> Mega .

1:28:56>> Really super .

1:28:57>> Respect , really .

1:28:59>> Thank you very much . So you deserve our

1:29:01respect today . You are our big hero

1:29:03today .

1:29:04>> Uh ,

1:29:05>> it has to be said , otherwise your story

1:29:07wouldn't have been told today if you

1:29:08hadn't been here . Yeah , maybe you have ,

1:29:11I mean thanks , I just , it's difficult

1:29:13for me right now . I'm really , I'm

1:29:16really , I'm quite emotional right now ,

1:29:18so , first of all , wow , you didn't let

1:29:20it show . I really thought 39 and that

1:29:23was it and I'd go home and I thought ,

1:29:25I'm going home with 400 euros now ,

1:29:27don't have the car anymore and so on . I

1:29:29would have spent tonight

1:29:30>> can't even pay for the gas .

1:29:31>> Yes , exactly . Yes , exactly . I was

1:29:33already thinking inside , I can't even

1:29:34go out to eat once .

1:29:35>> You threw out the bulletproof vests .

1:29:37Speak up . No , but that was just really

1:29:39intense . I I just thought I misheard . I

1:29:41just thought to myself , whether I

1:29:42should now Yeah , well , I don't even

1:29:44know , um

1:29:45>> your wife is beaming up there , right ?

1:29:47>> Yeah , everything is crazy .

1:29:49>> Would you mind coming down to us for a

1:29:50second ?

1:29:51>> Yes ,

1:29:52>> I

1:29:54>> Yes , go ahead .

1:29:55>> Oh , you have to pull that one .

1:29:58>> I , I have , can I say that ? I applied

1:30:00here a day and a half ago .

1:30:01>> Crazy how fast it went .

1:30:03>> Now I'm standing here and

1:30:05>> how fast it went .

1:30:06>> A day and a half ago . So

1:30:08>> crazy .

1:30:08>> Hi .

1:30:09>> Hi .

1:30:09>> Good evening to you . How are you ?

1:30:11>> Very well , thanks .

1:30:12>> Very well . Better now . I'm doing

1:30:15>> great , even .

1:30:16>> Yeah , after such an ending .

1:30:18>> Are you happy for him ?

1:30:19>> Yes . Yes . He deserves it . Really .

1:30:23>> In case you ever need a translation or

1:30:24something in English ,

1:30:25>> I can hear the English accent .

1:30:27>> Yes . Yes , I am American . Yeah ,

1:30:29>> you are American ?

1:30:30>> Exactly .

1:30:31>> Okay .

1:30:31>> Yeah . And my parents ?

1:30:35>> Are we still allowed to applaud today ?

1:30:36Yes . Okay .

1:30:37>> But I can also translate English well .

1:30:39>> Yeah . Yes , exactly .

1:30:41>> So ,

1:30:42>> but she also translates she also

1:30:43translates Russian , Ukrainian , and I

1:30:45speak German .

1:30:46>> Did you meet at work ?

1:30:47>> Exactly .

1:30:48>> She was a translator in Kyiv . We met

1:30:51there at a conference for various

1:30:53organizations and I said , " Hey , we

1:30:55might need more translators on our team

1:30:57. " And because for me , there's a rule ,

1:31:00I don't date people in the countries

1:31:02where I work , but she was also there to

1:31:04help people . And so , um , I took [ her ]

1:31:07from

1:31:08>> to Germany and then we dated .

1:31:09>> Real talk . On the first day , I said to

1:31:12my boss at the time , " I'm going to

1:31:13marry her . " So , and then we Yeah .

1:31:17>> Yes . Wow , it works . It works .

1:31:21>> Since then we've done everything

1:31:23together , and it's crazy . I mean , she

1:31:24does everything with me , too . She's

1:31:26everywhere . She has no fear of going

1:31:28anywhere . She's always right at the

1:31:30front , wearing a helmet and vest and so

1:31:32on . Driving driving driving all the

1:31:35cars and such . It's just , I never would

1:31:37have expected to find something like

1:31:39that in such a dark place during the

1:31:41war , that I'd simply find the love of

1:31:42my life there . Yeah ,

1:31:44>> but when you're our leader , then it's

1:31:46easy to follow .

1:31:47>> Come on now .

1:31:50>> I like that , please . We always need

1:31:52that . I love these guys . Are you guys

1:31:55still looking for work ?

1:31:57>> Side job . Side job .

1:31:59>> You're still in school on the side ?

1:32:01>> Yes . Yes . A job while in school . I see

1:32:03prospects there right now . Yes . May I

1:32:05ask two small things ? I have one more

1:32:07small gift .

1:32:08>> Yes , sure .

1:32:09>> But may I say one thing , when I walked

1:32:11in , I said , hello ,

1:32:12>> what kind of transport vehicle is that ?

1:32:14Through the glass , he said there's a

1:32:15bomb inside .

1:32:17>> So , so funny .

1:32:18>> And then he said , well , that's just the

1:32:20dark humor you develop in my line of

1:32:22work . And then he said , I'm not afraid

1:32:24of bombs .

1:32:25>> Well , let's leave it at that , right ?

1:32:28Now that's a very difficult transition

1:32:30again . They're already translating my

1:32:32quotes , shot dead by the front line .

1:32:37>> It really is a difficult transition now

1:32:39.

1:32:39>> Okay ,

1:32:41>> I brought a little gift . I thought I

1:32:45wanted to give you something that is

1:32:47perhaps unique , that fits my story , and

1:32:49that you might associate with something

1:32:51positive , even though it's actually

1:32:52something bad . And you said earlier

1:32:58that , um , that you , uh , or that I had

1:33:00downplayed everything you do earlier .

1:33:03That is not the case . You are , you have

1:33:07written an enormous history here , and I

1:33:09can imagine that in everyday life ,

1:33:11perhaps when you see all these cars ,

1:33:12you might forget what actually happened

1:33:14. For me , it was intense , driving into

1:33:18this yard ; immediately , that little ,

1:33:19that little young heart was pounding . I

1:33:22didn't even know where to look .

1:33:23Beautiful cars everywhere . But all of

1:33:25this is not something to be taken for

1:33:26granted . And , um , peace above all , and

1:33:29health , too , that can be gone from one

1:33:32day to the next . And I have here , um ,

1:33:37as a reminder of that , and so that you

1:33:39are simply always aware and grateful

1:33:41every day for what you have and what

1:33:42has been given and entrusted to you .

1:33:48This is shrapnel from a missile from

1:33:50one of the worst battlefields in

1:33:51Ukraine . This is from Lyman . A tank was

1:33:59hit by a missile or a projectile there ,

1:34:01and I went there a little later , I mean

1:34:03, really a few hours later , and I

1:34:04picked up a few pieces of metal , just

1:34:06as a , as a reminder . And on this

1:34:10battlefield , well , they are still

1:34:12fighting there today ; for 3 years , the

1:34:14front has been moving back and forth ,

1:34:16back and forth , always across the city .

1:34:18Um and a very , very , very , very large

1:34:22number of people have died there in

1:34:24recent years , and that is from

1:34:26>> you can see it better from behind ,

1:34:28>> it's original from there .

1:34:30>> You can also imagine the damage it

1:34:31causes when something like that flies

1:34:33through your body . No vest or helmet

1:34:35will help you there . But I wish you ,

1:34:40>> thank you ,

1:34:43>> both of you and your families , that

1:34:45wherever you go and wherever you are

1:34:47and whatever life has in store for you ,

1:34:49that there is always peace where you

1:34:51are , where your family is , and that you

1:34:53always have health and joy in what you

1:34:55do , and yes , a small special gift .

1:34:59We're standing here now , it even stands

1:35:01on

1:35:04>> will find a place in our background

1:35:05that will always remind us of you .

1:35:08>> Thank you .

1:35:08>> I want to say congratulations , you've

1:35:11sold your car for € 45,000 .

1:35:13Afterwards , all live , I'll sit down

1:35:15with you again , then comes the

1:35:16paperwork , then we'll get everything

1:35:18finished .

1:35:19>> With pleasure .

1:35:19>> And

1:35:20>> gladly . May I also share a brief

1:35:22message with the people ? Of course .

1:35:24>> You said it nicely earlier , that is

1:35:26also a bit of the point of my story .

1:35:28Yes , I think we must not let ourselves

1:35:30be defeated by evil , but rather we must

1:35:32overcome evil with good . And we all

1:35:35know who is responsible for what .

1:35:36Everyone has a few names in their head

1:35:38right now , saying he did this , he did

1:35:40that , he did there . We can be angry at

1:35:42those people , we can get upset , or we

1:35:44can simply start doing good . And at the

1:35:46beginning , I also thought , hey , what

1:35:48can I really achieve ? And in the end ,

1:35:50there was a relatively large number ,

1:35:52and many , many people in many different

1:35:54countries who still remember us very

1:35:55gratefully to this day . And I just want

1:35:59to encourage you : do good , go out there

1:36:01, simply start right on your own

1:36:03doorstep , and break this cycle of

1:36:05wounded people wounding others . Just

1:36:08start being kind again , give something ,

1:36:10support someone somewhere , or help

1:36:12people and groups who maybe aren't

1:36:14close to you , who you have nothing to

1:36:16do with at all — just completely random

1:36:18people . You can break this cycle ; we

1:36:21can do it . I think our generation wants

1:36:24to change things , and we can all start

1:36:26small . And , um , the message goes out to

1:36:29everyone out there . Yes , start now , do

1:36:32something , do good , and overcome evil

1:36:34with good . I have nothing to add . Thank

1:36:40you so much . We’re continuing now ,

1:36:41guys . Stay tuned . We still have a lot

1:36:44to discuss . We’re going up to the

1:36:45desk now . To you , too . Thank you so

1:36:47much for everything you do .

1:36:49>> Serkan . You go ahead and take the

1:36:51camera . I’ve actually prepared a

1:36:52little surprise for you . Please head up

1:36:54to my desk . Take the camera with you .

1:36:57Just chat with the stream . I’ll

1:36:59follow you in about 60 seconds .

1:37:02>> Uh , yeah . Okay .

1:37:04>> See you in a bit .

1:37:05>> Trick something . We’ll be right back .

1:37:08>> Feel free to walk faster . Ser

1:37:10>> I’m curious what’s coming next . Why

1:37:12do I always have to talk to the chat

1:37:13alone ? I don’t know what to say , but

1:37:15hello and welcome . And , no , just

1:37:16kidding , the cameraman is already

1:37:18laughing . What’s with all the

1:37:23surprises today ? What’s going on

1:37:24today ? Day of surprises . So , welcome to

1:37:34the news . Today’s news . Yes . What do

1:37:49they have ? What do they have ? What is

1:37:54he up to now ? No one knows that yet .

1:37:57What’s up with Serkan's RS6 ? It’s

1:37:59still with the police in Frankfurt . The

1:38:01vehicles are still there . Today we

1:38:03received a letter stating that the RS6

1:38:05has now been inspected . The cars are

1:38:08cleared now . I think they’ll arrive

1:38:10tomorrow . Let’s hope so . So the first

1:38:18video is coming to our channel ,

1:38:20Serkan’s Glanzk Manufaktur channel , I

1:38:22think the first video comes out next

1:38:24week . Support it , subscribe . Go to

1:38:33Serkan Glanzk , then you’ll see it ?

1:38:37Good day . Hello . Good day .

1:38:38>> Good day .

1:38:40>> I’m back .

1:38:41>> Wait . Press whatever makes sense right

1:38:45now .

1:38:46>> What makes sense right now ? How do I

1:38:48feel right now ? I feel about

1:38:50>> this much .

1:38:52>> Um , I feel about

1:38:55>> see ?

1:38:56>> You are actually the first person I’m

1:38:58coming to , and you have my kids to

1:38:59thank for that .

1:39:00>> Okay , cool . Okay , cool . In the end

1:39:04it’s so funny . Yes , that’s that is

1:39:09>> Guys , we need to congratulate Serkan on

1:39:11a few things that have happened in the

1:39:12last few days . The first big thing ,

1:39:16your YouTube channel is already set up .

1:39:19So , the YouTube channel is online now .

1:39:21You can find it and you can subscribe

1:39:23to it . That means after the live chat ,

1:39:25please go to Serkan’s YouTube channel

1:39:27and subscribe to the new channel so you

1:39:29don’t miss his first video , which

1:39:31will be out in a few days . So it’s

1:39:33also a huge moment for me to celebrate

1:39:35too . Your first video is going online

1:39:37on your channel . We've made so many

1:39:39videos together now , but it's really a

1:39:41matter of the heart for me that your

1:39:43video is launching on your channel . So

1:39:45for your information , guys , Serkan's

1:39:47channel is going live . Go ahead and

1:39:49subscribe now so you can give it a

1:39:51boost right away . I mean , if anyone

1:39:54deserves to have massive success with

1:39:56their channel , it’s Serkan . The way

1:39:59you work so hard around the clock — and

1:40:01that reminds me of working hard around

1:40:03the clock .

1:40:06>> Your online shop is also live now . So ,

1:40:09now we’re doing home shopping .

1:40:11>> You have an online shop called what ?

1:40:14>> Uh , glanz-op.de , let's say .

1:40:17>> glanzk-shop.de . So , you brought me a

1:40:22bag full of gifts . You've actually been

1:40:25waiting a week for me to post it on

1:40:27Instagram , and every time you asked if

1:40:29I’d posted it , I kept quiet because I

1:40:30wanted to surprise you today . Why post

1:40:33on Instagram when we can share it here

1:40:35with our community in the live chat ?

1:40:38>> So , there’s a bag among other things

1:40:40you brought me .

1:40:41>> Leather bag .

1:40:42>> Leather bag .

1:40:43>> Air fresheners .

1:40:44>> Here is the RS6 .

1:40:47>> There's also the Serkan . Don't show

1:40:49that .

1:40:50>> Why ? What else do we have ? You're known

1:40:53for your caps . You’ve worn caps in so

1:40:55many videos .

1:40:55>> Yeah , I do wear them .

1:40:57>> So guys , please congratulate Serkan in

1:40:59the chat , because this is a big deal .

1:41:01You've also already sent out a lot of

1:41:03packages .

1:41:03>> You guys ship them from home , right ?

1:41:06You don't have a fulfillment company in

1:41:08the background adding a card and

1:41:10shipping the package ; you do it all

1:41:11yourselves .

1:41:13>> How many packages have you sent out ?

1:41:16Whoa , we're already at ... I don't want

1:41:20to lie , but I think , wait , I have a ...

1:41:24>> What do you think ? What's in here ?

1:41:26>> Well , we've easily sent out over 1,000

1:41:28packages .

1:41:28>> Over 1,000 packages in the first week .

1:41:31>> Yeah .

1:41:31>> Amazing .

1:41:33>> This is the best drying towel I've

1:41:35tested in over a year and a half .

1:41:37>> I thought there would be pajamas in

1:41:39there .

1:41:39>> No , it's really , really incredible . For

1:41:44everyone who really wants a great

1:41:45drying towel , this thing is really good

1:41:47. But ...

1:41:49>> we refined it twice and so on , because

1:41:51the bigger it is , the heavier it gets ,

1:41:52which can cause streaks , so this thing

1:41:54has been in testing for over a year and

1:41:57a half .

1:41:57>> Incredible .

1:41:58>> Truly .

1:41:59>> Okay , I'm curious .

1:42:00>> It also comes in small . It's like us

1:42:02two , when we get in front of the camera

1:42:03, you know ?

1:42:04>> Oh , I see .

1:42:05>> Yeah , you and me .

1:42:06>> You're the purple one .

1:42:07>> Yeah .

1:42:08>> And I'm that one there ,

1:42:09>> the small one . So cute . That's for the

1:42:12door insides . Many ask , why small ? It's

1:42:16like , when you go in for the door

1:42:18insides , the door panels , and so on , I

1:42:20thought , because we used to cut them

1:42:21small back then ,

1:42:23>> the big ones , we cut into four , and

1:42:24eventually I had them made that way .

1:42:27We've been using them for over three

1:42:28years .

1:42:29>> Amazing . What I want to tell you guys

1:42:31is , I think Lenny's is really cool here

1:42:33, right ? In green . I didn't even see it

1:42:35was green . But what I actually want to

1:42:37tell you guys is , believe in your dream

1:42:39. 100 % .

1:42:41>> Believe in your dream . Look , we've

1:42:42known each other for 8 years now .

1:42:44>> Yeah .

1:42:45>> You started in the business with us 8

1:42:47years ago , just to clean and detail

1:42:49cars . The classic way . Car washing ,

1:42:51polishing for the dealership . But you

1:42:54have worked tirelessly for the last 8

1:42:56years , working and working , always

1:42:58proving yourself , always proving

1:43:00yourself . I have basically entrusted

1:43:03you with my whole life , not half , at

1:43:05every point in time . And you have

1:43:07always performed . You grew from a man

1:43:10who came with his wife and wanted to

1:43:12run the business as a duo , now to a

1:43:14huge operation ,

1:43:17>> many employees , you have a lot of

1:43:19attention Germany-wide , and not only is

1:43:21your detailing company completely

1:43:23booked , now your channel is online ,

1:43:28>> and we know exactly what you will

1:43:29achieve with the channel , and beyond

1:43:31that , your online shop , your products ,

1:43:33your dreams are online now , and I want

1:43:35to congratulate you on that . Thank you

1:43:37very much .

1:43:37>> Really , congratulations . Thank

1:43:39>> you .

1:43:40>> You will always have me by your side

1:43:41for everything . Always .

1:43:42>> Thank you very

1:43:43>> much . Always by your side , wherever you

1:43:45need me , I'm there . Yeah , keep doing

1:43:47exactly that . Follow your path , and

1:43:49guys , you follow your path too . Um ,

1:43:51there are many different paths . Michael

1:43:54defined his path differently than we

1:43:56actually did . And everyone finds their

1:43:58happiness and fulfillment in what they

1:44:00do . And I can also warmly advise you .

1:44:04Fight for your dream . In life , you

1:44:07sometimes need a lot of patience , many

1:44:09years of patience . You have waited a

1:44:11decade for your chance , so to speak . A

1:44:13decade has passed . We've aged almost 10

1:44:15years .

1:44:16>> 10 years . Yes , together .

1:44:18>> Pretty wild , right ?

1:44:19>> You guys should do the same . Always go

1:44:20full throttle , always believe in your

1:44:22dreams . Good things will come . It

1:44:24doesn't happen overnight . You don't

1:44:27know how many hours he spent under cars

1:44:28or just cleaning them to be where he is

1:44:30today . Never gave up .

1:44:32>> Congratulations .

1:44:34>> Thank you very much . I’m looking

1:44:35forward to everything that’s coming .

1:44:37Tomorrow at 5 PM , guys , the fraud

1:44:39victim case with Melder is dropping .

1:44:44It’s really next level and we’ll be

1:44:45relying on your help . In this case too ,

1:44:48we need a lot of useful tips . I mean ,

1:44:52what happened there and what the family

1:44:54had to go through is really intense ,

1:44:55and the filming was the longest and

1:44:57biggest production we’ve ever had for

1:44:59a fraud case like this . And we’re

1:45:02just getting started now . The video

1:45:04comes out tomorrow at 5 PM . We hope

1:45:07many of you will tune in to watch the

1:45:09video , and I’d say now — you can

1:45:10already tell , right ? I’m starting to

1:45:13stumble over my words . It’s been a

1:45:14very , very long day . Now it’s time

1:45:16for us to call it a day , too . Thank you

1:45:19for watching .

1:45:20>> This weighs heavily on us .

1:45:22>> The worst scam there is .

1:45:23>> There’s no solution for that . What

1:45:25kind of solution ? We’re out of this

1:45:27matter . We’re not doing anything else

1:45:28. Feel free to escalate it . I don’t

1:45:30care either . But I don’t even want to

1:45:31argue with you .

1:45:32>> I don’t want to discuss it . No.

1:45:34>> I’m shaking a little bit . My pulse is

1:45:36racing .

1:45:36>> We’ve been talking about nothing else

1:45:38for six months . At some point , it just

1:45:39wasn't possible anymore .

1:45:40>> So this is a whole new dimension .

1:45:42>> That was really hard . I also have a

1:45:45small child and I really had a bad

1:45:47feeling about putting him in here .

1:45:53>> I’ve flown about 500 km with my crew .

1:45:55Direct confrontation . We’re looking

1:45:57for a car dealership here .

1:45:58>> A car dealership ? Don’t you have eyes

1:46:00?

1:46:00>> We’re going in . I have a bit of a

1:46:02queasy feeling here , too . I wouldn't go

1:46:04down here without my community .
