0:00If I woke up tomorrow with zero in my
0:02account , here is what I would do . Five
0:04pieces of advice I would give myself . I
0:07have already lost everything twice , and
0:09both times I came back . So listen
0:11closely . First . Forget about finding a
0:14good job . A good job is a dead end . You
0:19trade time for money , and nobody is
0:21going to give you more than 24 hours a
0:22day . I am not saying quit tomorrow .
0:26Here is what you do . While you work ,
0:28build something of your own on the side
0:30, something that makes money even when
0:32you sleep . Second . I would find one
0:36skill that people are willing to pay
0:38for and invest every free evening into
0:41it : sales , copywriting , repairs ,
0:43consulting , anything that you can sell
0:45as early as tomorrow . Third . I would
0:49not spend the first money , not a single
0:51cent , because that first money is not
0:53income , it is a seed . You plant it , you
0:56don't eat it . I would open a separate
0:59account and not touch it until there is
1:01enough to buy my first asset . Fourth . I
1:05would cut out everything unnecessary
1:07for at least a year . No trinkets , no
1:09restaurants , no new things . One year of
1:12discipline can change the next 20 years
1:14. Most people are not ready for this .
1:17That is why most people start over
1:19every 5 years . And fifth . I would stop
1:22listening to those who have built
1:24nothing . Advice from people without
1:26results is just noise . Find one person
1:29who has traveled the path you want to
1:31take . Watch what they do and do the
1:34same thing . Wealth is not luck . It is a
1:38system . Those who know the system
1:40recover . Those who do not stay in the
1:43rat race . I built my fortune on these
1:46principles and would rather pass them
1:48on than take them with me . Everything I
1:51know , I have collected in a book . The
1:53link is in my bio .
