0:00Vegeta kills Goku. A message [music]
0:01reaches Beerus's planet before anyone
0:03can verify it. And within seconds, Whis,
0:05Beerus, and even Zeno are watching the
0:06battlefield through Whis's [music]
0:08staff. There is no mistake. Goku is
0:09lying motionless in a crater while
0:11Vegeta stands above breathing heavily.
0:12He looks horrified. Moments earlier,
0:13they had been sparring [music] when
0:14Vegeta unlocked a strange burst of power
0:16he had never felt before. One punch
0:18connected and Goku's heart simply
0:19stopped. Whis rushes [music] to Earth
0:20and attempts to revive him, but nothing
0:22works. And Daishinkan arrives and
0:23reveals why. Goku was not killed by
0:25energy, force, [music] or destruction.
0:26He was killed by certainty. Everyone
0:28stares in confusion as Daishinkan
0:29explains an ancient law. Vegeta's punch
0:31[music] carried absolute certainty that
0:32he had finally surpassed Goku, and
0:34reality treated that certainty as fact.
0:36Beerus immediately calls it nonsense
0:37until Whis checks Vegeta's mind [music]
0:38and finds the terrifying truth. For one
0:40brief second, Vegeta truly believed
0:41there was no version of Goku that could
0:43ever catch him again. The universe
0:44accepted the decision, but things
0:46quickly become worse. Across [music]
0:47multiple universes, warriors begin
0:48collapsing. Jiren falls during
0:50meditation. Broly suddenly loses
0:51consciousness. Even Frieza drops [music]
0:53to one knee. Daishinkan reveals they are
0:55all connected to the same balance.
0:56Goku's existence acted as a challenge
0:58that pushed countless fighters to grow
0:59[music] stronger. Vegeta demands they
1:00bring Goku back, but Daishinkan says
1:02resurrection is impossible because
1:03Goku's death was not physical. The
1:05universe itself agreed with it. Then
1:06Zeno quietly points [music] at Whis's
1:08staff. Everyone turns and sees something
1:09impossible. Goku is standing beside his
1:11own body. He is calmly watching the
1:13scene unfold. Whis tries to scan [music]
1:14him, but the staff cannot identify what
1:16he is. Goku smiles and says he finally
1:18understands why nobody has ever truly
1:19surpassed him.
