0:00Hello, my name is Eelo Herod and boy am

0:02I happy to be a nerdy novelist. Now

0:05today, like I said in the video that I

0:08just made for you, we are going to build

0:10a story from scratch inside of Story

0:12Hacker OS. The key is that you can go

0:17about this in many different ways. One

0:20way is to use their book builder

0:23functions, but I have it on good

0:25authority that they're going to be

0:27changing one of them, which is the brain

0:30dump to dossier. They're going to be

0:31changing that one around. So, I'm going

0:33to avoid that specific one, but there is

0:36another way that you can build a dossier

0:39inside of Story Hacker OS. So, let's

0:43jump right in. Here we are inside of

0:46StoryHacker OS. And right up here in the

0:49upper right hand corner, you have the

0:51create. You can create a new book, a new

0:54series, a new world. You can go all the

0:55way up to the world level. And one of

0:57the cool things about going to the world

0:59level, if you decide that you want to do

1:01that, is that you can call the world uh

1:05anything you want. Uh we'll call it uh

1:08Killer Assassin. All right. Killer

1:10assassin. And inside that killer

1:13assassin world, we're going to create a

1:15new series if we want to, which is

1:18probably what we would want to do. But

1:21also, there's a document right here.

1:24Now, I know that I've already kind of

1:26gone through this with you before, but

1:28this is incredibly important to me

1:31because you are able to establish a lot

1:34of world rules inside of those

1:36documents. It's pretty slick. So now you

1:39know exactly how far up you can go, but

1:42we're not going to play around with the

1:44killer assassin world right now. All

1:46right. So what I'm going to do is create

1:50a series. And we're going to call this

1:52series

1:54space is final. Why? Just cuz I wanted

1:59to make that up just now. And uh

2:01optional to add it to a world. Nope. I'm

2:03not going to add it to a world. It is a

2:05series. and we're going to create a new

2:08book. And we're going to call this book

2:11book one. Why? Because I am not

2:15committed to what I want to call it.

2:16Now, we're going to dig deep here. And

2:19if you give me a second, I'm going to

2:20figure out exactly what genre I want.

2:23Okay. So, I figured out exactly what I

2:26want to have happen here. I have uh the

2:29book title is called The Power book one.

2:33And then uh it's space fantasy and it's

2:38going to be the galaxy is not as it

2:40should be. Jason and Laura together save

2:44the galaxy. That's pretty much all I

2:47have going and uh my target audience is

2:51going to be young adult.

2:54Now, as you can see, the book is now

2:57present because I hit okay. And now if I

3:01wanted to, I could start on the second

3:03book, but that's not what I want to do.

3:06Now, once you click into Story Hacker

3:09OS, you have the ability to do a couple

3:13of things, but the most important thing

3:16is chatting with your documents. There

3:21are no documents in here right now. So,

3:24all we're going to do is basically is

3:26just chat. No messages yet. Let's talk

3:30to our AI. Hello. I want to work on a

3:35new story. I've got a little general

3:38premise, but I really have a kind of

3:44idea of where I want it to go. So, can

3:47we start discussing it?

3:52And it immediately writes back to me,

3:55absolutely. share your general premise

3:58and then we can work on it. Big

4:00difference, right, from working with the

4:04book builder, you can have a

4:06conversation with an agent and that

4:09agent will help you build this story

4:12from wherever you are with the story.

4:15So, let's show you an example of that.

4:18Okay, the idea generally is that Jason

4:22and Laura are not related to each other

4:25and they were born on two separate

4:27planets, but they're drawn to the same

4:30planet at the same time. And when they

4:33get together, they get some power that

4:36helps them save the galaxy. That's about

4:38all I have.

4:41All right. It says, "Jason and L are

4:44strangers from different planets,

4:46mysteriously drawn to the same world.

4:49There they discover they possess

4:52complimentary powers that only work when

4:55they trust and cooperate with each

4:58other. Their mission is to stop an

5:00ancient threat, destroying the galaxy.

5:03Possible themes. Connection versus

5:05isolation. Destiny versus free will.

5:08Rival planets learning to cooperate. The

5:10cost of saving the galaxy. Ah, this cost

5:14of saving the galaxy might be

5:15interesting. Jason could be impulsive

5:18and distrustful, while Laura is

5:21intelligent but emotionally distant.

5:24They balance each other's weakness. The

5:27mystery planet might be a dormant living

5:30god, an ancient weapon. The remains of a

5:33lost civilization. The prison containing

5:36the galaxy's enemy. H I like the idea of

5:39the remains of a lost civilization.

5:43Maybe they actually have some genetic

5:46Yeah, that's what we'll do. See, and as

5:48you read through these things, you can

5:50either accept them or reject them. And

5:54then all of this stuff that we build

5:57right here can be put into a document.

6:00We would obviously have to create the

6:01document first. So you would go right

6:03over here and hit create a document, new

6:06document, call it whatever you want, and

6:08then put it into whatever type you want.

6:11It could be worldbuilding, manuscripts,

6:14research, all that stuff. Okay? But

6:16we're not going to build a document

6:17right now because we are still just

6:19chatting with our idea right now. Now,

6:24so we're going to go through this entire

6:27thing and we're going to answer each one

6:28of the questions one at a time. All

6:30right. So, uh I think that we're going

6:32to go with destiny versus free will. I

6:37think you should switch the impulsive

6:39and distrustful thing. I think Jason

6:41should be intelligent but emotionally

6:44distant and that uh Laura should be uh

6:48impulsive and distrustful. uh that way

6:51they do still balance each other out but

6:53there is an added uh bonus of uh

6:57masculinity and femininity to add to the

7:00layers. I don't think that they are

7:03romantically involved until the third

7:07book. So I'm thinking this is a trilogy.

7:10The mysterious planet is going to be the

7:12remains of a lost civilization. I think

7:15that her impulsivity,

7:19her being impulsive, lends itself to her

7:23with super strength and uh durability

7:27and all of these things when she's in

7:30proximity to him. And his powers become

7:33more cerebral and mental and he's able

7:36to tap into people's minds and even feel

7:40what plants feel, that sort of thing. So

7:43they are genetically tied together uh

7:46from the ancients because of the

7:48ancients fiddling with the genetics of

7:50the galaxy. So they've always ensured

7:53that they always have champions.

7:57Champions that's funny to take care of

8:01uh to take care of the galaxy even after

8:03they were gone. and a the sacrifice is a

8:08planet full of billions of people that

8:13if they at the end of the first book

8:15their power can't save the planet but it

8:19does save the galaxy in that moment. And

8:21that's all of the answers to the

8:24questions. I'm gonna hit send and it's

8:26gonna think for three seconds and then

8:28probably get back a pretty lengthy

8:32explanation of exactly what it thinks is

8:35supposed to happen. Oh, it even has book

8:37three and book. It's going hog wild

8:41here. All right, let's see here.

8:44H. Okay, we're going to have to ask it

8:47to TLDDR,

8:49which is too long. Didn't read. There we

8:52go.

8:54Cor premise. Jason and L are genetically

8:56engineered champions created by a lost

8:59civilization. They are born on different

9:01planets but are always drawn together

9:04when the galaxy faces a major threat.

9:06Intelligence and emotional distance. Uh

9:10near Laura, he gains mental abilities,

9:13including reading minds and sensing

9:15plants. Uh impulsive and distrustful,

9:18she develops super strength and

9:20durability. Looks like um destiny uh

9:24versus free will. Okay. Yes. And this

9:28all seems legitimate. All right.

9:31I want to build a detailed dossier from

9:34this. Do you have the uh knowledge of

9:38how to do that?

9:40All right. Let's uh build a dossier from

9:44all of the information you have. And

9:46then you have uh 10 questions to ask me

9:49in order to uh get this and only ask me

9:52one at a time so that I can answer them

9:55one at a time and give myself a chance

9:56to really think about the answers.

10:01Now you may notice I am actually having

10:03a conversation and instead of using one

10:06of book builders or anything like that I

10:08am building out a very good

10:11comprehensive dossier right here in the

10:14chat. And that right there is how you

10:17start an entire book right there. That's

10:20the whole thing. I could continue

10:22working through the entire dossier

10:24process, but I think you're starting to

10:26understand that the agent is your friend

10:28inside of StoryHacker OS. It's powered

10:31by open router and that is probably the

10:35best part because you can switch up

10:37models, you can switch configurations,

10:40you can do a whole bunch of different

10:41things. It is an absolute gamecher when

10:45it comes to creating story and it gives

10:47you the ability to really deeply

10:49ideulate and build from scratch. Like I

10:52said, we would start a story from

10:55scratch. I thought up the idea. I

10:58continued the idea on and I had this

11:01wonderful chatbot

11:03actually work out the rest of the story

11:06and help me with the structure so that

11:08people don't get boring. We want page

11:10flipping going on here, everybody. We

11:12want page flipping. And just in case

11:15you're wondering, the technique I just

11:17used at the end is called reverse

11:19prompting. It's a little technique I

11:21picked up from this guy named Alex Flynn

11:24on X. So, what I want you to do, right,

11:28is have it ask you questions about your

11:31story. You know, 10, 15 questions at the

11:33most. Make sure you give it an amount of

11:36questions, or else it'll continue to ask

11:38questions until the cows come home. All

11:41right, everyone. That's it. Next time,

11:44I'm going to finish my dossier right now

11:46with the questions, and next time we're

11:48going to take that dossier, and then

11:51we're going to build out all of our

11:53characters. That's the next one. And

11:55we're really going to dig deep into

11:57those characters and we're going to use

11:58the book builder to do it. So, it's

12:00going to be a lot of fun. All right. My

12:02name is Eel Herod and boy am I happy to

12:06be a nerdy novelist. and I will see you

12:08in the next
