0:00Zeno suddenly erases an angel, and for
0:02the first time in history, [music]
0:03nobody dares ask why. It begins in
0:05Zeno's palace as every angel from every
0:07universe is summoned without
0:08explanation. Whis, Vados, and the others
0:11quietly line up before the Omni [music]
0:12King. The Grand Priest looks unusually
0:14serious. Then, without a word, Zeno
0:16points at one angel. Erase. In an
0:18instant, the angel disappears. [music]
0:19No explosion, no scream, just gone.
0:22Every God of Destruction stands frozen.
0:24Even Beerus lowers his head. Goku steps
0:25forward demanding to know what just
0:27happened, but Whis silently [music]
0:28stops him. No, the meeting ends
0:29immediately. Hours later, Goku secretly
0:31asks Whis if angels can really die. Whis
0:33answers with something even stranger.
0:34[music] No, Goku, they can only be
0:36erased if they choose not to resist. Now
0:37Goku is even more confused. Then, why
0:39didn't he resist? Whis looks toward the
0:41empty place where the angel once stood.
0:43Because he agreed with [music] the
0:44judgment. Silence. The Grand Priest
0:45finally reveals the truth. The erased
0:47angel had broken the oldest law of all.
0:49[music] He had secretly saved his
0:50universe hundreds of times by using his
0:51powers when no one was watching. Not
0:53once, not twice, hundreds of times.
0:55[music] Every miracle had one silent
0:57witness changing fate. The angel
0:58accepted erasure because he knew he had
1:00betrayed the duty every angel swore to
1:01uphold. Goku can't stop [music] thinking
1:03about one thing. If he saved billions of
1:05lives, why was that wrong? For the first
1:06time, even Whis has no answer.
