0:00Look, you've shown other people how to
0:02succeed in business. So sometimes I'm
0:05guessing, you know, they come in, they
0:07have a measure of confidence, may not be
0:09high, but they have some. They have a
0:11measure of background, skill,
0:12experience, may not be a ton,
0:14>> and you just help them take that next
0:16step, put a zero behind that. Yeah.
0:18>> And just allow them to keep growing. How
0:20does that feel when you look at somebody
0:21that you basically are paying it forward
0:23to them, helping them grow?
0:24>> I mean, that's what it's all about,
0:26isn't it? you know, that's I'm an
0:28educator, a teacher at heart, and just
0:31showing people how the way, you know,
0:33like here I'm no better than you. I'm
0:35just a bit further along.
0:36>> Mh.
0:37>> And now I can turn around and like help
0:38you get here as well. And I I just love
0:42knowing that no matter who you are, your
0:44background, your experience, your level
0:46of influence, this is all just a skill.
0:49>> We are Attraction Marketing. Welcome.
0:56Megan Brazier. How are you?
0:59>> I'm good. I'm so happy to be here.
1:01>> So excited to see you. It's been a
1:03little bit of a minute.
1:04>> Yep.
1:04>> Welcome to the Attraction Marketing
1:06Show.
1:06>> Thank you so much.
1:07>> It seems apppropo that you would be here
1:09being a person who's had a huge impact
1:11on the community and both as a student
1:13and now as one of our highlighted
1:15trainers.
1:16>> Well, thank you. I I love this
1:17community. I've been here Yeah. since
1:192020. Can you believe
1:20>> that's crazy?
1:21>> Yeah.
1:22>> Yeah. And in that time, you've seen some
1:25transformation inside the industry,
1:26inside attraction marketing and in your
1:28own business, which is
1:30>> awesome. We'll dive into that.
1:32>> Yeah.
1:32>> You came in, were you How long into your
1:35journey were you in attraction mark,
1:37sorry, in network marketing when you
1:39first found us?
1:40>> Four years.
1:40>> Okay.
1:41>> Yes. I had been with my company since
1:422016. Um, doing things the old school
1:46way. And then 2020 sort of came around
1:49and that's when I was like, okay, I need
1:50to
1:51>> Yeah. I need to find another way.
1:53>> Yeah.
1:53>> Mhm.
1:53>> And you have a pretty remarkable story
1:55because you did not come through like it
1:59wasn't the thing you woke up thinking or
2:01growing up as a kid, I can't wait to be
2:02a network marketer when I grow up.
2:04>> No.
2:04>> No. So, what how how did the whole thing
2:06start out?
2:07>> Okay. So, well, I was a elementary
2:09school teacher uh back in Australia and
2:11I did that for 10 years. Absolutely
2:13loved it. Thought I'd be doing that
2:14forever. Uh it was actually my husband
2:17who got a job over in Chicago for work.
2:20So, we had to move over. Um, and I was
2:23actually 16 weeks pregnant with twins,
2:26uh, when I came over, so I knew no one.
2:29Um, didn't have a job, nothing. So, I
2:32had my babies. Um, and then about two
2:36years, they were about 15 months old, I
2:37was I was pregnant again with my third,
2:39actually, and I hadn't worked for a
2:41couple of years. I was seven months
2:42pregnant. And I really wanted a new rug.
2:46I wanted this rug for our for our house
2:48and it was like $1,000 and it just
2:51wasn't in the budget. We're on one
2:52income and my husband was like, "We
2:53can't be spending $1,000 on a rug right
2:55now." And I was like, "You know what? I
2:56I need to find a way. I need to find a
2:58way to make this happen." And that's how
2:59I found I didn't know what network
3:01marketing was to be honest. Um, I saw a
3:04friend of mine posting about some
3:05products online. She invited me to a
3:07Facebook party. I went along. I was at
3:10the end of it, she was talking about how
3:11you could make money selling it. And I
3:13literally was the easiest recruit. I'm
3:15like, "This sounds fun. I can do this
3:16from home. I'm about to have a baby.
3:18Let's do that. So, I signed up um got
3:22started and my first month's paycheck
3:24was $1,029.
3:26So, the first thing I bought was that
3:28rug.
3:28>> Oh, wow. That's cool.
3:29>> So, I and that was like sold me. I was
3:31like, "This is like magic." Like, what
3:34do you mean I can just be at home and
3:36heavily pregnant with toddlers running
3:38around and I've made $1,000? Like, this
3:40is crazy. Um, and so I just ran with it
3:43and I was doing lots of inerson and and
3:47online parties and I actually really
3:49loved it and I was good at it and um
3:52getting, you know, products into
3:53people's hands and it was great. But I
3:57kind of got to a a position in the
3:59company, a rank in the company and I
4:01just couldn't get past it. Like I was
4:02just kind of doing well myself, but no
4:04one else was really doing that well. Um,
4:08and I got really tired honestly. My kids
4:10are a little bit, you know, a couple
4:11years in and I was like leaving the
4:14house, leaving them, missing things on
4:15the weekends, going and doing these
4:17parties in strangers homes and I just
4:19got to a point where I'm like, I just
4:21don't think I can do this much longer.
4:23Like this is kind of I'm over it, you
4:25know?
4:25>> Yeah.
4:26>> Um, and that's when, yes, 2020 came
4:29around and I was like, I need to like
4:31find a way. How else can I do this? And
4:34stumbled across attraction marketing,
4:36um, as I think a lot of us do. and I saw
4:39an ad and I kind of clicked on it, went
4:42through the process and then I actually
4:44ignored it. I was like, I don't know. I
4:45don't know. This feels like a bit I
4:46don't know if it's like something I want
4:48to do. So, I kind of pushed it to the
4:49side for another 6 months or so. And
4:52then I remember just like doing
4:54reachouts one day and trying to get
4:55people to host and getting my team to
4:57get people to host parties and I
4:58couldn't get anyone to say yes. I'm
4:59like, I really need to go back and look
5:01at that attraction marketing thing. And
5:03so, [clears throat] I did. I signed up
5:04and you know that first year of
5:07implementing like how to use social
5:09media, building a brand, building
5:11systems for my team, I was actually able
5:13to get to the the second top rank in my
5:15company um that year um and through
5:19duplication and and building all these
5:20systems and teaching my team how to do
5:22the same thing. Um so yeah, that really
5:25like sold me. I'm like this is amazing.
5:28Um, and then you know as time went on it
5:31kind of it got exhausting because I was
5:33the only one doing it.
5:34>> My company wasn't doing it. My uplines
5:36weren't doing it. I felt like I was just
5:38like kind of you know going against what
5:41everyone else was doing and everyone
5:43else's advice. Um, so that ultimately
5:45led me to find a company that was
5:47attraction marketing focused all the
5:49things all the systems all the things I
5:51wanted to be doing.
5:52>> Um, and now aligning myself with a
5:53company like that that made sense for
5:55me. Um, I I I flew a six-figure income
5:58in in 10 months of being there and have
6:00built a team of a thousand and
6:02>> yeah, so it's doing well now. So, I'm
6:04very very thankful.
6:05>> Finding new rugs lately.
6:07>> Yeah, that rug now is in the basement.
6:09Like I have upgraded since then, but we
6:11still have it in the house.
6:11>> That's pretty cool. It's it's kind of a
6:13fun story because
6:14>> I remember you saying this. I don't
6:16remember where. I've heard you say that
6:17before and I thought, you know, most
6:20people wouldn't think, "Oh man, a $1,000
6:22rug that'll get me into business." But
6:24you kind of had I think an under sort of
6:29appreciated
6:31story there. It's like a side story of a
6:32side story.
6:34>> Instead of being like, "Oh, I can't
6:35afford it." You're like, "Let me find a
6:37way."
6:38>> Yeah.
6:38>> So that attitude or at least that
6:41approach super important as as you can
6:43imagine in network marketing. Can you
6:45tell talk a little bit about that? Just
6:47that approach, that attitude of hey,
6:49I'll make it happen.
6:50>> Yeah. I mean, I wasn't going to sit back
6:53and just be told, "No, you can't have
6:55it." I'm I'm very determined. Like, I'm
6:57like, "You watch me. I will I will make
6:59a find a way to make this happen." And I
7:00think that's really helped me in
7:01business cuz it's always like,
7:03>> you know, when there's a problem,
7:04finding a solution, like that we can
7:06figure this out. Um, and I think that
7:08served me very well because again, once
7:10I was in the business and things got to
7:12a point where they weren't moving, I'm
7:14like, "Right, I need to find another
7:15way.
7:15>> I'm not going to sit here and complain
7:16and just quit or go backwards." like I
7:20love that I get to work like this, but
7:22let's just find a better way to do it.
7:24So,
7:24>> and with before you found attraction
7:26marketing, you were doing the old school
7:27stuff.
7:28>> How was the team? You so your focus was
7:31building the team obviously, not just
7:33selling product.
7:34>> How was their uptake to that? Were they
7:36like, "This is great. This is awesome.
7:37We're in it to win it." Or was it more
7:39like you pulling them uphill?
7:41>> So, they were actually pretty um
7:44responsive to it. my downline, they like
7:46doing it, but the problem was they were
7:48being fed on every other team call or
7:51corporate call was like doing the
7:53parties, doing the reachouts, doing the
7:55100 person list. So, I kept it was just
7:57like it was just hard. Yeah.
7:58>> I just felt like it was this constant me
8:00trying to
8:01>> do it my way and they're doing it their
8:03way and they and they were confused cuz
8:04they were getting everything thrown at
8:06them. So,
8:07>> yeah.
8:07>> You know, but I had a few that just
8:09really ran with it. Um,
8:11>> so yeah, they were they were adapt
8:13adaptive to it. Yeah,
8:14>> but it was just more all the other.
8:16>> So when you shifted to the new company,
8:18they were more attraction marketing
8:19focused.
8:20>> What was that like to go from what you
8:23experienced before into the new company
8:25that had the open mind or whatever? They
8:27were they they could see the vision.
8:29>> Oh, I you know I always say when I when
8:31I joined it was like this huge weight
8:33was lifted off my shoulders. It was like
8:35finally people who understand me,
8:37finally people doing things exactly how
8:40I want to be doing it with social media,
8:41building a brand, um the systems in
8:44place, the duplication. I was like, "Oh
8:46my gosh, this is amazing that I can
8:47bring the newest person in and just plug
8:50them in to a launch plan that's going to
8:52get them results without me having to
8:55like really train them or like help them
8:58host a party. Like all of that, like it
9:00was just
9:01>> the effort required was a lot less. It
9:03was more like just follow. And for them,
9:05I found them recruiting more because
9:07they knew exactly how to help their
9:09newest person like, "Oh, I just need to
9:11tag you in this
9:13steps." Before that, I feel like people
9:15were scared to recruit because they were
9:17like, "Oh, this means I'm going to have
9:18to like help them do a party or like I
9:21don't even know how to help them."
9:22>> And now they had everything for them. So
9:24now they're like they've got confidence
9:26to go out and bring people in.
9:28>> What a cool thing. There's a lot to be
9:30said about that kind of I can do this
9:32but not because of just the you know
9:35motivational I've got this. It's more
9:37about actually seeing how they can do
9:40it.
9:40>> A lot of times I think people over
9:41complicate things initially but if you
9:44can actually see how you can do it. It's
9:46not just it might be a difficult thing.
9:48>> Hey we're going to climb Mount Everest
9:49but I know how we're going to do it. I
9:51can actually see the trail. Okay cool.
9:53Let's just go get some. One foot in
9:54front of the other
9:55>> which is kind of you know a little bit
9:57about what I was hearing there. Exactly.
9:58I think people coming in and I just had
10:01someone join my team like even last
10:02week. Plugged her in and she's like, "I
10:05just can't. My previous company we you
10:07just joined and that was it. You were
10:09left to figure it out." And she's like,
10:11"I can't believe how simple."
10:14>> I never like to say things are easy.
10:16>> Um but simple. She's like, "This is
10:18can't believe this. I can't I I just
10:20can't believe that no other companies do
10:22this kind of thing, you know?" So, I
10:23mean, some do, but um
10:25>> yeah, she hadn't come from that. So,
10:27it's always fun when I have a new person
10:28start cuz I just I get the text message
10:30like a few days in. Oh my god.
10:31>> Yeah.
10:33>> See, you know. So,
10:34>> yeah. That's cool.
10:36>> Did your husband notice anything
10:37different? Was he like, whoa, what's
10:39going on here? I mean, clearly the
10:40income probably wasn't
10:42>> Yeah, that was nice.
10:42>> Wasn't bad.
10:43>> Yeah. No, he I mean, I think he could
10:46really tell just my belief, my
10:48excitement, my passion really shifted.
10:51um confidence shifted and and I really
10:55believe like when you have that and I
10:57didn't know what true alignment was
10:58until I found it because the way I
11:01showed up just became different like I
11:04was just so excited. I had so much
11:05belief and cuz I knew I was helping
11:07people. I was actually now helping
11:09people, you know, when they first joined
11:11to actually make money, you know, like
11:13having that belief knowing that I know
11:14how to help you make that money rather
11:16than people trying to so working so hard
11:19and then their paycheck was just not
11:21matching up and um yeah, he's definitely
11:24not. And I feel like I'm working less
11:25now than I ever have
11:27>> because the systems do a lot.
11:29>> Well, that's fun.
11:29>> Which is great.
11:30>> Yeah. More time for the little ones.
11:32>> Exactly.
11:32>> Maybe not so little ones, but at the
11:34same bigger now, but
11:36>> that's awesome. So when you first
11:38started having that now now you got some
11:40momentum things are going well was there
11:42any kind of learning you know growing
11:44pains that came with that even though
11:46you're using attraction marketing things
11:47that you as a new leader not not a new
11:49leader in the sense like you'd never led
11:51before but now you've got this new you
11:53know they always say new money new
11:55problems or big money big problems or
11:57whatever but not so much in that sense
11:59what was the kind of growing pains you
12:01had
12:01>> I mean I guess for me bringing new
12:04people in maybe who hadn't done social
12:06media media before, right? They want to
12:07do attraction marketing, but they don't
12:09really have a clue about social media.
12:10So, really helping people to understand
12:13that this is going to take time. You've
12:15got to be consistent. Um, and you know,
12:19just really helping them to understand
12:20that, you know, you're not your company
12:21is not your brand. We now need to be,
12:23you know, build a brand. And yes, you
12:25know, you can go and message people and
12:27but most people don't. They're like, I
12:28don't want to bug anyone. But it was
12:30just kind of training people's like
12:32mindset of like, okay, we're doing
12:33things differently and it actually might
12:35take a little bit longer now because
12:36we're not doing kind of direct getting
12:38every person that you know in your whole
12:40life to look at what you've got. Um, so
12:42I think just setting expectations like
12:44that was a
12:45>> making sure people came in and like
12:47don't expect overnight results
12:48especially if you've come in with zero
12:50influence,
12:51>> right?
12:51>> Because that takes time. Like I, you
12:54know, for me now, like the influence
12:56I've built, like in 2020, I didn't have
12:58that influence. When I started online
13:00with attraction marketing, I had zero
13:01influence. But I was doing videos every
13:03day, 5 days a week for like over a year.
13:06>> Wow.
13:06>> And I feel like a lot of people are not
13:08willing to do that.
13:09>> Yeah.
13:09>> But I was like, if this means that this
13:12is going to be a different way, and do I
13:13do five videos a week now? No.
13:15>> Um, but that's how I really just like
13:17accelerated it. I'm like, so I tell
13:19people I'm like, you know, set
13:20expectations, but
13:22>> you've got to get your face on camera.
13:23If you're too scared to show your face,
13:26>> I mean, this is probably not the right
13:27place for you.
13:27>> What do you think that is? How come
13:29people would resist that? What have you
13:30noticed?
13:31>> Um, I think people forget that it's not
13:33about them,
13:34>> it's about who you can help. And so I
13:37have to like train them to be like, no
13:38one cares about what you look like or
13:40what, you know, all the things. Like
13:41that's just ego, right? If you're
13:42worried about what you look like, um, no
13:45one actually cares about that. So, it's
13:48training them. I'm like, you need to
13:49think about showing up for that one
13:50person who's looking out for your help
13:52today. They need you today. So, I think
13:54helping people to shift that. And I'm
13:56like, you and the only way to get better
13:58at it is to get on camera. The first
13:59live you do, it's awful. It's like
14:01nerve-wracking. It's like you feel like
14:03you, you know, it's awful. But once you
14:05do it once, it'll get easier and easier.
14:08>> And I I really I'm someone I'll really
14:09push people. I'm like, you got to do it.
14:12You got to do it. And I promise you,
14:13it'll get easier. And it's worth it. Do
14:14you ever get the Yeah, but you're but
14:16you're Megan Brazier.
14:18>> People like, "Oh, you know, you do this
14:19all the time." I'm like, "Yeah, but
14:20guess what?
14:21>> But I do it all the time."
14:22>> I used to be like you, though. Yeah. I
14:23started out like the first time I did a
14:25live, it's so embarrassing because I did
14:27it on an iPad and what I didn't realize
14:29is the way I had it set up, everyone
14:31watching had to watch me sideways.
14:33>> Oh, yeah.
14:33>> So, I was like had no idea. And I was
14:35doing an unboxing and I was all
14:36flustered and red in the face and I was
14:38nervous. And then afterwards, I'm like,
14:41"Oh my god, I see the recording." And
14:42it's like the camera's the wrong way. So
14:45I'm like, that was my first live. I did
14:47a terrible job, but you know what? I I
14:49just started.
14:50>> Yeah.
14:50>> And it gets easier. And now it's not
14:51even I don't even think about it. It's
14:52just like boom. Let's go.
14:54>> That's awesome because if more people
14:57understood the the beginning, a lot of
14:59times they'll look at someone like you
15:00and they're like, whoa. And because
15:01you've had some awesome results and they
15:04think, well, that's the story. But they
15:06don't understand the backstory.
15:08>> They really don't. I tell people it's
15:10taken me eight years to have this
15:11overnight success.
15:13>> Eight years.
15:13>> And I was, if you knew me through
15:16school, so shy. Like public speaking, no
15:19thank you. Not my thing. Hated doing
15:21that kind of stuff. So shy. And it
15:23really was network marketing that really
15:25got me out of my shell.
15:26>> Got me talking in front of people. Um,
15:29>> you know, and and doing lives and doing,
15:31you know, and then with you guys, like
15:33being on your stages and training and
15:35mentorship, like all of that, it just
15:37compounds. It's just little, you know.
15:38Am I nervous? Yes. Always. Always
15:40nervous. But do I do it anyway? Yes. Cuz
15:42I know it's going to help me grow.
15:43>> I remember the first time you spoke on
15:45stage.
15:45>> Oh my god. I was so nervous.
15:46>> That was so
15:47>> so nervous.
15:48>> It was amazing cuz you I remember you're
15:50in the back in the green room and you
15:52were just like
15:53>> to throw up.
15:53>> You were. And the funny thing is is like
15:55you like personally just hanging out.
15:57You're you're just like a calm like
16:00jovial person. You're not like a stern
16:02like serious I mean you're not a
16:04goofball, but it's like you know what I
16:05mean? like it's it's not like, oh,
16:06Megan's this stiff, you know, like you
16:08can't talk to her. She's like a like a,
16:10you know, like a wall.
16:11>> And you were back there like,
16:12>> the am I doing? And it was just like,
16:14dude, go out there and crush it.
16:16>> Oh, man.
16:16>> And you were amazing. And then after
16:17that, it was sort of like, okay, this is
16:19how far my wingspan is and I'm going to
16:21soar with this.
16:22>> It was a Yeah, it was lots of nerves and
16:25looking back, I couldn't even watch the
16:26recording because I was just like, oh,
16:27this is I'm mortified. Um, but you know
16:29what? We all have to start and I just,
16:30you know, when someone gives you an
16:32opportunity to do something like that,
16:33just always say yes. Mhm.
16:35>> It doesn't matter how nervous you are,
16:36always say yes if you want to grow. If
16:38you want to grow and and just get to the
16:40next level, say yes to those things. If
16:42your company's asking you to do a
16:44training or just say yes because I'm
16:46telling you that's it's all those little
16:48things. So,
16:49>> yeah. And you end up making this huge
16:51impact on the people. Exactly.
16:53>> Because like you said, like I think a
16:54lot of times people when it comes to
16:55something is for what may seem pretty
16:58benign of doing a video for them. It's a
17:01huge deal. It's the equivalent of
17:02speaking on stage.
17:04>> And it's like, well, okay, take Megan's
17:07advice and just do it. Make it about the
17:09audience, not about you. You're going to
17:10be nervous. Like you, but as soon as you
17:12were on stage, were you thinking about
17:13Megan Brazier or were you thinking about
17:15the 300 people out there staring back at
17:17you?
17:17>> Yeah. Exactly. And I think it's when you
17:20Yeah. get up there and realize like,
17:21wow, they're just here because they want
17:23to learn, right? You know?
17:25>> Yeah.
17:26>> And you do all the nerves they go. Once
17:27you're up there, you just like
17:28everything goes away once you start the
17:30live. like everything it just melts
17:31away.
17:31>> Yeah.
17:32>> And you realize what you're there for.
17:33>> And most people I don't think understand
17:35this two. There's really two things at
17:37play whenever especially if it's any
17:39kind of live speaking, whether it's on a
17:41live
17:43Zoom, you know, with people actually
17:44tuning in or you're actually on stage.
17:47Two things. One, they're thinking more
17:48about themselves than they're thinking
17:49about you%.
17:50>> And when they are thinking about you,
17:52they want you to win. They're actually
17:54rooting for you in the back.
17:55>> Absolutely.
17:56>> Yeah. No one wants you to like fail.
17:58Yeah. like everyone just and yeah,
18:00they're not they're not thinking about
18:02how nervous you are or anything. They're
18:03more just like going to teach us like
18:06>> and so for me that's what I think about
18:08what can I what's one thing that they
18:09can take away today.
18:10>> Yeah.
18:10>> You know that they can get out of this
18:12that's going to help them in their
18:13business.
18:14>> Hey my friends, hope you're enjoying the
18:15show. I wanted to take a quick minute
18:17and invite you to something very cool.
18:19If you are tired of following up with
18:22dead leads, if you're tired of all the

18:28family, and people you work with just to
18:30get somebody interested in your

18:52link directly below this or you can go
18:55to attractionmarketing.com/youtube.
18:58Now, let's get you back to the show.
19:01What do you find when you bring somebody
19:03new on? They're excited. They seem like
19:05a great fit for your team. Do you notice
19:07any like this is a very common thing
19:09that you work with in terms of getting
19:11them just to get going, building that
19:13first kind of little bit of momentum?
19:16anything that you have to work with them
19:17on, they have to work through, overcome?
19:20>> Um, yeah. I mean, everyone's different.
19:22You've got the ones that start who are
19:23very hesitant, you know, they join and
19:26then it's like, and I I sort of really
19:28say to them, I'm like, I'm not going to
19:30give you like time until I see you like
19:33launch.
19:34>> Like, you get launched and then you have
19:37all like all my time, but you got to get
19:39started first, you know, just just
19:41start. um you know so you get people
19:43that come in who are real go-getters and
19:44they just like they go um other people
19:47you know don't have that confidence but
19:49I'm like just start and I feel like our
19:51launch plan is very day one is very very
19:53simple very very easy I'm like just get
19:55day one up just day by day um and then I
19:58think they get very confident as soon as
20:00even day one they're like oh my gosh
20:01I've got people interested already that
20:03confidence you know and I think that's
20:04what's key in a launch plan you want to
20:06give them a really really quick win you
20:08don't want to overwhelm them downloading
20:10all these things and you have to join
20:11all this and do all that just
20:13>> we're like just start the launch plan on
20:14my that's all I want you to think about
20:16>> and they get leads quickly and then
20:17they're like oh
20:19>> this is working and then that confidence
20:21just builds and builds so that's my
20:22number one goal is just get in get some
20:24leads
20:24>> do they get a like you find them getting
20:27ahead of themselves like I'm getting
20:28leads now what where's the money you
20:30have to deal with that kind of
20:31>> yeah so some not so much sort of where's
20:33the money but they're like
20:36yeah what do what do I do with them now
20:38that I have them and then we're like
20:39well here's the next here's the process
20:40like here's the the sequence. Here's the
20:42messaging. This is how we're going to do
20:43it. And then I'm here to help you. I'm
20:45always like, screenshot your messages.
20:46Let's get going. And then we have a goal
20:47of like, I want you to get five, we're
20:49gonna get five people in before the end
20:51of the month because we have sort of a
20:52good sort of you get a good payout for
20:54that. Um, so it's just really working on
20:57that with them, you know, just like
20:58let's get your first
20:59>> and let's just get your three and then
21:01let's get your five. Um, and then they
21:03they a really nice paycheck with that.
21:05So
21:06>> yeah. So you it it sounds like you
21:09didn't have too much resistance from the
21:11company because they were already kind
21:13of on board with the attraction
21:14marketing principles, but did you get
21:16any kind of push back outside of that
21:18when you first started doing it
21:19differently? You weren't doing the old
21:20school, now you're doing it this new
21:21fangled digital way. What's going on?
21:24Did you get any push back outside of
21:25that
21:25>> from the original company?
21:27>> Yeah.
21:27>> Um, no, not directly. No, I didn't get
21:30any push back. Um, it was more
21:33>> they just weren't going to adapt.
21:35>> Okay. Yeah. you know, so I just was
21:37like, I'm not gonna fight. Like I what's
21:39the point?
21:40>> Yeah. It's a mutual parting of ways.
21:41Like
21:42>> kind of didn't make sense. And I'm like,
21:43oh, you know, you want to do it that
21:44way, I want to do it this way. Let me go
21:46find a better fit for myself. You know,
21:48I just want to be around people that
21:50>> I can just like collaborate with and
21:51like work together and you know, like
21:54it's hard when you're when you're on
21:55your it can be done,
21:56>> but it's you know,
21:57>> you're on your own.
21:58>> Yeah. So, I got to ask a little bit of
22:02an elephant in the room. There's a lot
22:03of stuff that has come up of late and
22:05it's it's not that it's timely or you
22:08know that it's that it's we're going to
22:10date ourselves here but because I think
22:11it's something that people will work
22:14with struggle with or at least in the
22:16back of their mind have questions about
22:18and that is there's a lot of weird stuff
22:19kind of turmoil that goes on inside the
22:21industry. Now, you and I were talking
22:23about this before. We're like, "Okay,
22:24we're going to avoid getting, you know,
22:27shovels and digging into the total drama
22:29for this, but I think it's important."
22:31How do you personally
22:33lead yourself? Like, how do you work
22:36with when there's upheaval? Could be a
22:38company goes out of business or could be
22:41a huge thing that happens inside the
22:42industry where it's not just your
22:44company or your team that's impacted.
22:46There's a lot of people that are hearing
22:47about it and doing the whole what's
22:49next. How do you kind of work with that?
22:51you know, for me and it is is it I it's
22:53wild out there right now. It's really
22:55wild, but I was saying this actually to
22:58someone the other day who was a bit like
23:00confused and torn and you know what's
23:02going on and I was like you know what
23:04all I care about is what you know how
23:07I'm showing up, how my team is going,
23:10how I can help them. And I'm like all I
23:12want to keep doing is sharing my story,
23:15why I love being here. Uh, I'm not here
23:17to put any other company down or take
23:20jabs at anyone else. If I can just keep
23:23showing up and be that positive light
23:25and just, you know, why am I here? Why
23:28do I choose to be here? Why do I choose
23:29to stay here? What do I love about this
23:31industry?
23:32>> Um, and just keep my head down, blinders
23:34on. And if you're doing that and not
23:37getting involved in the drama, then your
23:39team is just going to to follow that.
23:41And I feel like my team is very the
23:43same. like because I don't really go on
23:46about drama or make a big thing about
23:47it. I'm like, let's just focus on what
23:49we have. What we have is great. My
23:51vision, my confidence for the future is
23:53very, very strong. There's nowhere else
23:55I'd rather be.
23:56>> And so my team sees that. And again, it
23:58just filters down how you show up, how
24:00you behave. That's how your team, you
24:02know, and they're they're great. They're
24:03fine. They they probably don't even know
24:05half of what's going on because we just
24:06don't
24:07>> pay attention to it.
24:08>> They don't pay attention to it. There's
24:09no point.
24:09>> And you're setting that tone. You're
24:11setting that example. And I think that's
24:13a part that most people don't value
24:15enough. Maybe they don't even recognize
24:17it. It's how you show up is how the
24:19people you bring in are going to show
24:20up. So even if you're one of those newer
24:22people, you're just generating your
24:23first lead,
24:24>> you have to almost think of them as this
24:26is the first people I'm going to impact
24:29and influence.
24:30>> So if you're showing up with fear, if
24:32you're showing up with excuses,
24:34>> guarantee it's going to propagate.
24:35>> 100%.
24:36>> Yeah.
24:36>> Yeah. So, I think it's just,
24:39you know, I'll address things that are
24:41going on that need to be addressed, but
24:42it's kind of like this is what's
24:43happening. These are the facts,
24:46>> move on.
24:46>> Have you ever had to do that or is it
24:48pretty pretty minimal?
24:50>> A little bit. A little bit lately. Yeah.
24:52>> Because there's been a lot of
24:53>> confusion and things going on and I'm
24:55I'm just like this is this is let's just
24:57go to the go to the source. Here are the
25:00facts. This is what you need to know. If
25:02you got questions, come to me. I'm
25:03always here.
25:04>> Awesome. you know,
25:05>> and then from there it's a refocus back
25:07on what
25:07>> we're doing. And I find I don't really
25:09have anyone that's like come to me with
25:11concerns. Everyone's just from what I
25:13see in their content and in our chats,
25:15everyone's just so happy to be here. Um
25:17I'm very big on team culture, you know?
25:20I think that's really, really important.
25:21People want to feel loved, seen, heard.
25:23Doesn't matter what your rank is.
25:24Doesn't matter how much you make.
25:26Everyone's important. If you're plugged
25:28in and you want to be here, then I'm
25:29here for you as well.
25:31>> I love that. So curious for you. you now
25:34you're 10 years in. Did I get that
25:36right? Nine.
25:37>> Eight. Nearly nine, actually.
25:38>> Okay, great.
25:39>> Yeah.
25:39>> So, that's that's wild. That's about as
25:41long as I've been with attraction
25:42marketing. Um,
25:45do you have like one like a specific
25:47concern or something specifically you're
25:49really excited about as far as the
25:52trajectory of the industry?
25:54>> You know, I feel like network marketing
25:55is here to stay first of all, not going
25:57anywhere. Um, but I think it's evolving.
25:59I think it's changing. And you know, I
26:02was even talking to Beck last night
26:04actually about it and [clears throat]
26:05I'm like the future of I said on social
26:08media right now I'm actually kind of
26:10kind of bored to be honest. I'm like
26:11looking at everyone's content I'm like
26:13we got to shake this up. I'm like I'm
26:14bored of just the random crap I am
26:17seeing online. Um so I think it's like
26:20you've got to keep evolving, right? If
26:21you're not evolving in this industry or
26:23any industry, but if you're not evolving
26:25and thinking about like the future and
26:26like what are people doing and what are
26:28we seeing? um then you're just gonna go
26:31backwards and kind of be irrelevant. So
26:33it's like what is working like for us
26:34right now, what we know that is working
26:36right now is like live selling.
26:39>> So we now have this once a month um live
26:43selling in our Facebook group for all
26:45our customers and prospects and we have
26:47one of our leaders come on, we take
26:48turns and we just get on for an hour and
26:51we just like live. We tell stories, talk
26:53about the products, talk about the
26:54business. I mean, we had one a couple of
26:56nights ago and I can't even tell you how
26:58many people watched, how many comments,
27:00the sales that came through. Like, so
27:03this is something new we're doing
27:04because like this is what's working. We
27:05know live Tik Tok is working like all
27:07these like live selling on all these
27:09different platforms. So, we're like,
27:10let's use that in what we're doing. Plug
27:12all your people in. Easy peasy. Yeah.
27:15Um, so it's just always like evolve
27:17what's going on, you know?
27:19>> Yeah, that actually is really exciting.
27:22almost like infusing energy into the
27:25into the into the industry, but at least
27:27especially into your community.
27:29>> That's amazing. So, did you get pretty
27:31good feedback from that?
27:32>> Oh, yeah.
27:33>> Yeah.
27:33>> I mean, people love it. Like, my team
27:35love these events because
27:37>> the person who's doing it, she she's
27:40really really good at it. Like, we have
27:41a few, you know, people who do it. The
27:42one we did the couple of nights ago,
27:44she's really good. Like, she can
27:46>> she'll upsell everyone on everything.
27:48So, people are putting in these $400,
27:50$500 orders because, you know, and it's
27:52sharing people's stories and um it's
27:54just really fun. We give away like a
27:56$500 gift card or whatever. So, you
27:58know, it's like make it fun, make it
28:00people want to be there, keep them
28:01engaged. We do code words, we do all
28:03these fun things and it's just like a
28:05nice little energy boost for the entire
28:07team. Um and it works. So, it's like
28:10what's working? Let's do more of that.
28:12>> Absolutely. I got to think too, they're
28:14like, man, this is fun. Like, I want to
28:16be with this.
28:17>> Yeah. Yeah,
28:18>> that's the thing. It's like come and get
28:20a taste of our culture of like how we do
28:22things here and um people love it.
28:24They're like just sign up. I want to be
28:26part of that. Yeah.
28:27>> You know,
28:27>> cool. We talked a little bit about this
28:29too is AI. It seems to be this
28:31effrovescent thing. And and I strive to
28:33ask this question anytime I have the
28:35opportunity to sit down with someone
28:36like you because I really want to hear
28:38kind of what's working for you, what
28:40you're excited about, and how you're
28:41leveraging it. Right now, a lot of times
28:43I think people are still I think we're
28:45getting past it, but before it was
28:46almost like a fear-based thing. Very
28:48resistant. I don't think I want to be a
28:50part of this. I watched too many
28:51Terminator movies growing up, you know.
28:53Now they're starting to go, okay,
28:55>> what are you seeing? How are you using
28:57it? What are you excited about? And
28:58how's that working out for you?
28:59>> I mean, I love AI. I don't think it'll
29:01ever replace, you know, everything. It
29:05shouldn't replace everything. But what
29:07we have found in our team is that we've
29:09actually developed our own team AI. So
29:13we have one that's been trained um on
29:16our launch plan, on our trainings, on
29:18our products, like everything. So um
29:21everything's been plugged into it. But
29:23what's important I think is we do we
29:25train as a team. Like it's a new concept
29:27that we're like get the whole team on
29:29board. We do a whole strategy. We
29:32introduce it. We train on it. And then
29:34it just becomes part of our everyday.
29:36And so, for example, um I'm now when
29:39people ask me to look at their content,
29:40they're like, "What do you think of this
29:42post?" I'm like, "Why don't you run it
29:44through our chat, our team chat, and
29:46just see, you know, what updates?" So,
29:48now it's kind of taking a bit more
29:49pressure off me being the copywriter,
29:52>> you know, editor to let's put it through
29:54chat and then and then show me. And so,
29:57the confidence I'm seeing in my team and
29:59their posting now, I can't tell you the
30:02increase in in their sales I've seen.
30:05I've been seeing it. People who were
30:06kind of, you know, plugging away but not
30:09really growing are suddenly hitting
30:12ranks, you know, getting their, you
30:14know, focus on five that we have in our
30:16in our company. Um, and I'm seeing the
30:18confidence in their posting. It's like
30:20they write the post, put it through the
30:22chat, like, you know, get, you know,
30:23tell your story in there and it's just
30:25coming up or even like responses to like
30:27I don't know how to respond to this
30:28person.
30:29>> Well, let's put that into our chat and
30:31see what they would say.
30:32>> I love this. And the responses are
30:35better than what I would even I'm like,
30:37"This is so good. I've even I had
30:39someone um message me out of the blue, a
30:41cold, you know, cold person try and
30:43prospect at me." And the way they did, I
30:45was kind of annoyed because I'm like,
30:46"You obviously haven't even looked at my
30:48like anything about me. You're just
30:50assuming things." And I was like, I I
30:51wrote back a really kind of just, you
30:54know, got my little bossy Aussie as Beck
30:56calls me on. And I was just like, why
30:57are you even say Anyway, I thought, you
30:59know what? I'm going to run this through
31:00chat. And I said, "Can you just make me
31:02sound a bit nicer because I'm really
31:04fired up right now?" So it it did my
31:07response for me. I'm like, "Oh, that is
31:08so good." I sent it to this person and
31:10guess what? This person is now wanting
31:12to look at my opportunity.
31:13>> No way.
31:13>> I'm like, "Thank
31:16>> ladies and gentlemen, this is a master
31:18class in leadership. I love what you're
31:20doing because yeah, it' be very easy for
31:23somebody on your team, you know, come on
31:25Megan, can you just do this for me or
31:27can you tell me what's right, what's
31:28wrong?" And isn't that like you get that
31:30whole am I doing it right? And you're
31:32like there's no right or wrong. There's
31:34effective and there's ineffective.
31:35>> Let's find out. Yeah. So instead of you
31:37answering the question, you're like
31:39>> getting that person resourceful to find
31:41the answer for themselves using the
31:44tool.
31:44>> Yeah.
31:45>> And so the workload's less on you. The
31:47responses are you're like better than I
31:49could have even given. So you're
31:50probably learning something. I
31:51>> I mean it's awesome and and I love that
31:53you said that because I'm such a
31:54believer in you want your team to become
31:56independent from you as soon as
31:57possible. I'm all about being
31:59resourceful. So, if you're going to ask
32:00me a question, where do I find this or
32:02how do I do that? I will never give you
32:04the answer, but I will tell you where to
32:06go to find it because I want to train
32:08you on like, okay, where is it in our
32:09boards or where is it in the Facebook
32:10group or have you gone into our chat
32:13team chat and and tried there? And
32:15that's it's just training them, right?
32:16It's just training them like, have you
32:17done this first? And if you try those
32:19things and you still can't find it, of
32:21course, come to me.
32:22>> Like, where else could we be looking
32:24first? because I want also you to be
32:26able to help your team when they ask
32:27you, you know how to help them too. And
32:29if we can get everyone to be just become
32:31resourceful, like think about how can I
32:33figure this out on my own first.
32:35>> Yeah.
32:35>> Before I just go and ask, um, you know,
32:37that just going to make life easier for
32:39everybody.
32:40>> Well, the other thing too is you'll
32:43create a really strong team culture
32:45because behaviorally,
32:47>> they're going to be like, "Hey, that's
32:48just what we all do."
32:50>> Yep.
32:50>> We go to the resources. We're really
32:52proud of the fact that we have all these
32:53tools. I mean, damn, dude. and we
32:54leverage them. A lot of times teams will
32:56have great stuff, but they won't
32:58leverage them. They're too worried about
32:59leaning on the leader, you know?
33:01>> Oh, no wonder we're getting burnt out.
33:03No wonder our team isn't doing the
33:04thing. You know, it's like they're not
33:05duplicating. It's like, well, maybe you
33:07need to give them a little bit more
33:09responsibility, personal responsibility.
33:11>> Yeah. And repeat it. Like, you know,
33:12once a month in our team trainings, I go
33:15through our whole onboarding system
33:16again where everything where everything
33:18is in boards and in the Facebook group.
33:20I and I do it every single month. Um,
33:22and people have heard it a hundred
33:23times, but I'm like, I don't care
33:25because every time I do it, I'll put
33:27I'll ask them in the chat like, who's
33:29confident in onboarding? Put a one.
33:31Who's who's still not quite confident?
33:33And still lots of twos come up. So, I'm
33:34like, right, we need and there's always
33:35new people coming in. So,
33:37>> repeating, repeating, repeating, where
33:39to find the resources. Um, it's really,
33:41really important. So, you know, that's
33:43just going to take off a lot of pressure
33:45from you.
33:45>> That's pretty awesome.
33:46>> Yeah.
33:47>> I want to take us little trip back in
33:49history. I remember when you first you
33:52were going to make your first product.
33:53Do you remember that?
33:54>> Oh yeah.
33:55>> So
33:55>> yeah, my first digital product.
33:56>> That was a big stretch, right?
33:58>> Oh yeah.
33:59>> How like walk us through a little bit
34:01about that cuz that was you pushing you.
34:03>> Oh yeah,
34:04>> that was pretty cool.
34:05>> I mean that was Yeah, that was back in
34:072021.
34:08>> Um I decided that I wanted to create a
34:11course and and I remember on a call with
34:15you guys. cuz it was like you, Fernie,
34:18TJ was on cuz I was working out like
34:20what to like what to price it as well.
34:22Um, and that's kind of I don't know. I
34:25really kind of went to a next level then
34:27because I was going to like charge like
34:28$99 for it and you guys are like how
34:31about $9.99 and I'm like what? Oh my
34:35god, I can't do it. you really got me to
34:36realize, you know, the value and having
34:38like belief in what in the product and
34:40yeah, like I worked really really hard
34:42on it and I'd poured everything that I'd
34:43been learning into like this kind of
34:45package. Um, and it stretched me in so
34:48many ways and then I did I charged
34:50$1,000 for it and I I I made like the
34:53first time I sold it, I was like,
34:55>> "Wow, this is amazing." And and people
34:57loved it. People were just like it
34:59helped so many people. Um,
35:02>> it was just pretty cool. Like I wouldn't
35:04have done without you guys. There's no
35:05way I would have done that.
35:06>> Well, I think you it was really exciting
35:08to see because, you know, it's one thing
35:10to see. It's super easy when you're like
35:13you can't see the forest for the trees.
35:14You're like, I'm just going to charge a
35:16little bit for this. And that's there's
35:18actually nothing wrong with that. It's
35:19kind of it's great to have a little bit
35:21of humility to it, but then to have an
35:23outside perspective look at it and go,
35:25okay, you have to understand
35:26>> they are paying for transformation.
35:28They're not paying for information. And
35:30what you have delivered is
35:32transformation. So give them like the
35:34the right to passage or you know the
35:36kind of ticket to ride.
35:37>> Yeah.
35:38>> It it it it definitely warrants it.
35:40>> It Yeah. And what I realize is that you
35:42know the more people invest like the
35:44more committed they are like I want the
35:45people who are actually going to do it
35:47and and transform and um Yeah. Yeah. And
35:50you guys just like helped me with just
35:52Yeah. how to do it, how to lay it out,
35:54how, you know, I don't know. Just gave
35:55me so much confidence. And I was like,
35:56"Wow, these guys, you guys taught me
35:58these skills like that I could go off
36:01and do anything that I wanted. I could
36:03create anything. I had the control over
36:06my future of like the money I wanted to
36:08make and the impact I wanted to have.
36:10Like you guys taught me that. You're
36:12like this is you've just this is how to
36:15package it and put it out there." And I
36:16was like, life skill that I, you know,
36:18million dollar skill like so cool.
36:21>> That's so awesome.
36:22>> I'm so thankful for it.
36:23>> Yeah. Super super excited for you. Very
36:25impressed too because you know, look,
36:27you've shown other people how to succeed
36:30in business. So sometimes I'm guessing,
36:33you know, they come in, they have a
36:34measure of confidence, may not be high,
36:36but they have some. They have a measure
36:38of background, skill, experience, may
36:40not be a ton.
36:41>> And you just help them take that next
36:43step, put a zero behind that. Yeah. and
36:45just allow them to keep growing. How
36:47does that feel when you look at somebody
36:48that you basically are paying it forward
36:50to them, helping them grow?
36:51>> I mean, that's what it's all about,
36:53isn't it? Yeah. You know, that's I'm an
36:55educator. I'm a teacher at heart and
36:57just showing people how the way, you
37:00know, like I here I'm no better than
37:02you. I'm just a bit further along
37:04>> and now I can turn around and like help
37:05you get here as well. And I I just love
37:08knowing that no matter who you are, your
37:11background, your experience, your level
37:13of influence, this is all just a skill.
37:16>> Yeah.
37:16>> That anyone can learn. You just have to
37:18be committed. You have to be consistent.
37:20Keep showing up. I haven't stopped
37:21showing up in 9 years, right? Um and I
37:25always say like even if it takes,
37:27>> you know, 10 years, is it worth it
37:29>> to get to a place where you have
37:31freedom, the income that you need?
37:34>> Like is it worth it to you? You know
37:35what I
37:36I'm always like don't expect things to
37:38happen quickly and you know think about
37:41the work you're doing today is really
37:42for the future you know even like with
37:45prospects in network marketing I'm like
37:47don't show up today to make a sale
37:49>> show up today for the person who's going
37:50to buy in six months time
37:52>> because they need to watch you for 6
37:53months like they they need time to make
37:55a decision so show up for the people
37:57today who are still thinking about
37:59>> you know either buy or joining because
38:01in six months a year three years like
38:03they'll come I two of my top leaders in
38:05my company watched me for seven months.
38:07I had no idea. I had no idea. And I'm
38:09like, what if I had stopped cuz, you
38:11know, they hadn't joined and I what if I
38:12had stopped cuz I thought it wasn't
38:14working and meanwhile they're watch
38:16reading my emails, they're watching my
38:18videos, they're watching my reals,
38:19they're watching my stories. Like I had
38:21no idea that they tell me later like I
38:23was on your email list and I was doing I
38:25was watching I was stalking you for
38:26ages.
38:27>> So crazy.
38:27>> So I always tell people I'm like your
38:29next recruit is actually watching you
38:30right now. You don't even know it. And
38:32they are there watching you. So, how are
38:34you going to show up for them today?
38:35What do they need to hear from you?
38:37>> And that's an amazing way of thinking
38:40about it and the just I mean, think
38:43about the ripple effect on that, too.
38:45You think about like six, seven layers
38:47deep on that. Somebody's watching you
38:49now. They're thinking about it. They're
38:51processing it on their time, seeing it
38:54through their lens.
38:55>> And the more they see it, they start to
38:57understand it. When the understanding
38:59kicks in, that's when the action gets
39:01taken.
39:02>> Exactly. And what if you're not there
39:03anymore
39:03>> when they're ready? [clears throat]
39:04>> Yeah.
39:05>> They'll just go to someone else.
39:06>> So good.
39:07>> You know, so that like terrifies me. I'm
39:09like, "Oh my god, no. I have to I have
39:10to make sure I'm open for business
39:11today." You know, is your storefront
39:13open? Are you active? Are you showing
39:15up?
39:15>> Yeah. Hey, my friends. Hope you're
39:18enjoying the show. I wanted to take a
39:19quick minute and invite you to something
39:21very cool. If you are tired of following
39:24up with dead leads, if you're tired of
39:26all the spammy, scammy conversations
39:28online, if you're tired of chasing down
39:31friends, family, and people you work
39:32with just to get somebody interested in
39:34your business, and you would actually
39:35like to talk to highly qualified people
39:38who have a genuine interest in doing
39:40business with you, then we have our all
39:42digital 5-day boot camp that teaches you
39:45all the things that we do, and it will

39:53you want to take advantage of that,
39:54click the link directly below this or
39:56you can go to
39:58attractionmarketing.com/youtube.
40:01Now, let's get you back to the show. I
40:03think it's fun to watch and I like I
40:06said, the one of the probably most
40:08exciting things is just to see your like
40:11zeal for it every time we get a chance
40:13to be in the same room. We're here, by
40:15the way, I want to ask you about this.
40:16We're here at Digital Networker Live.
40:18So, we're in the same room together.
40:20It's mostly virtual.
40:21>> Yeah.
40:22>> And it's just like you walk in the room.
40:23I'm like
40:24>> there's a change in the force. Like you
40:26know what I mean? Like I was in the
40:27other room, you came in the building.
40:28I'm like, "Oh, of course Megan Brazer in
40:30the house." So you're here. You're going
40:32to be giving out the giving out the
40:35goods this weekend. What are you excited
40:36about?
40:37>> I mean, I get to share my favorite
40:39thing, which is stories, Instagram and
40:41Facebook stories, and and how to
40:43automate those to bring in new leads
40:46daily. Um, but yeah, I'm just so I'm
40:48excited to be here with everybody. I
40:49love being in person. It's always fun to
40:51see everybody.
40:52>> Um and just hear from all the other
40:54speakers and um I love that we're really
40:57talking about like AI and automation and
40:59and because this is the future like
41:01>> and I what I love about automation and
41:04having a thing set up, it's not taking
41:05away that personal touch. It's just
41:06we're amplifying it. It's like how can
41:08we just reach more people, help more
41:10people. Um so I'm excited to kind of
41:12talk about stories because that's my
41:14favorite thing, you know, Instagram
41:16stories. Um getting in there and just
41:18sharing all the things. So yeah, it's
41:20always
41:20>> well, you're a master at it. And the
41:22thing that's really cool is you're
41:23taking something that's quite frankly
41:24foundational. Like those are the things
41:26that whether it doesn't matter what
41:27platform you're using, you still want to
41:29be using that kind of short form
41:30content, but now you're you're bringing
41:32the new school stuff, the AI stuff.
41:34>> And what better way to keep people from
41:36freaking out? It's like, hey, it this is
41:37a tool you can use. It's not some magic
41:39thing that's going to take over the
41:41world.
41:41>> Yeah.
41:42>> But you get to you get the ability to uh
41:44leverage it. So
41:45>> pretty awesome. And it's like once you
41:47end it again, it's a skill. Everyone can
41:48learn it.
41:49>> And you know me, I'm like a teacher. So
41:51I like set it out step by step. Um so
41:53that everyone should be able to walk
41:54away and build something immediately
41:56that's very simple and will get people
41:59raising their hands saying, "Hello, I
42:01want more information, which is
42:03>> the ultimate, isn't it?"
42:04>> The point. Yeah.
42:05>> The whole point.
42:06>> Let's not forget what we're here for.
42:07>> Yeah. Right.
42:08>> So you went from I would maybe it's not
42:12a dream of having the new rug.
42:14>> The rug. Oh, knock that one off. What is
42:17the What's the vision look like
42:18nowadays? What's the next
42:20>> to me? It's freedom, honestly. Freedom
42:24to travel to, you know, and I feel like
42:27I'm living that right now. Um, so I'm
42:30like I'm just so grateful for everything
42:32I have. So, it's always just like I just
42:33want to continue to build build a legacy
42:35for my family. you know, this this um
42:38summer coming up, my husband has a 10
42:40week sbatical and it's awesome because
42:42I'm like, we get to travel and go away
42:44and just I just don't have to worry
42:47about having to take time off or till
42:50ask for leave or anything, you know? I
42:52just love the fre for me, it's not even
42:54about the money. It's about the freedom
42:55that that it affords, like being there
42:57for my girls, you know, when they get
42:59home from school,
43:00>> taking them on trips, um and just who
43:03else can I help? Like, you know, I for
43:06me
43:07where I'm at, it's more like the impact
43:09I've been able to have like on my team.
43:11Like, I just want them to succeed. I
43:12want them to have that freedom. You
43:15know, I did a story actually the other
43:17day about I went and got my girls nails
43:19done. They were desperate. And I went
43:21and it cost a bloody fortune, I will
43:23tell you, because they wanted all these
43:24fantasy designs,
43:26>> all the things. And I walked out of
43:27there thinking, "Oh my god." Like that
43:29what what just happened to
43:31>> How old are they?
43:31>> Uh the twins are 10 and then an
43:338-year-old. Oh, there you go.
43:34>> So, they got fancier nails than me now.
43:36So,
43:37>> but it cost I mean it was ridiculous how
43:39much it cost and but I I kind of walked
43:42away from that and shared that you know
43:45what like for me do be able to do little
43:48things like that for them um and not
43:51having to worry about oh god that money
43:54and now I can't afford to do something
43:56else. It was nice just that feeling of
43:58this is why I do what I do is just to
44:00and I want that for everyone else like
44:02to be able to have that little bit of
44:03extra money that is just going to take
44:05off that financial stress. You know what
44:06I mean? Like that I feel like it's such
44:08a financial stress is such a real thing
44:10and it is directly related to mental
44:12health. Um and I know it was the one
44:14only one thing that my husband and I
44:15ever like
44:16>> you know got like mad at each other with
44:18friction point was like not having
44:20enough money. And I was like I just I
44:22don't want that for people. So many
44:23people are living paycheck to paycheck
44:24and struggling and I'm like you don't
44:25have to.
44:27>> You don't have to struggle. Like there
44:28are so many options now. Get yourself
44:31find something whether it's network
44:32marketing, whether it's something else.
44:34I love network marketing because you get
44:35a built-in mentor. You join the right
44:37team and the right mentor. You've got
44:39like inbuilt mentorship that's going to
44:41tell you exactly what to do and how to
44:42earn money. So I'm like it's open to
44:45everyone.
44:46>> Yeah.
44:46>> Like if you're just struggling and
44:48complaining like we'll do something
44:49about it. You know,
44:50>> your circumstances are your
44:52circumstances. Staying there as a
44:53choice.
44:54>> Exactly. Like go and do something about
44:55it. There's opportunities.
44:58>> You just went to Australia, too. Like
44:59>> that's the thing. Yeah. Like last week I
45:01was able to just hop on a plane, go
45:04home. Um my sister had her first baby
45:06and I was like, I have to go and see
45:08this baby, this newborn. Like I have to
45:10go and see her before she's too big. I
45:11want to go and help my sister. Um I got
45:13a very supportive spouse thankfully that
45:16he was just like, go, you need to be
45:17with her. Um,
45:20but I was being able to do that, being
45:21able to buy the plane ticket and just go
45:23for a week and again, not taking time
45:25off work and not trying to struggle to
45:27find the money. It was just little
45:28things like that that I feel like
45:31>> that's freedom to me.
45:32>> Yeah, that's beautiful. And that that
45:34freedom it's I a friend of mine uh did a
45:37story one time or a post.
45:39>> He had a really nice sports car and he
45:42had driven to a grocery store or
45:44something like that, something, you
45:44know, kind of common. and he was getting
45:47into the car and some guy across the
45:49thing said must be nice.
45:52He's like, "Actually, it is." And then
45:53he just got in the car and drove away.
45:54And his point was, you know, he he's
45:56like, "It kind of pissed me off."
45:58>> He's like, "Do you know how hard like
46:00obviously this guy doesn't. I had to
46:02work to get here. I did not have a car
46:04before this, you know." He's like, "Then
46:05I went from having no car, like riding
46:07the bus, to having a bicycle to having a
46:09crappy car that didn't run. And the
46:12whole time I was nosed down. and I was
46:14dedicated building my business. I was
46:16driven to succeed and now I have this
46:18nice car. So, yes, it is nice.
46:20>> It is nice to be able to jump on a plane
46:22and go to Australia. It is nice to be
46:24able to get the girls nails done.
46:25>> You know what? Cuz I said, you know,
46:26some people might say, "Oh, you're so
46:28lucky." And I'm like, you know what?
46:30>> No, I'm not lucky. I worked bloody hard
46:32for this. You know, I've been working
46:34for eight years
46:35>> to get to this point, honestly.
46:36>> Yeah.
46:37>> Um and there were some years where I'm
46:38like, am I ever going to get there?
46:40>> Yeah.
46:40>> I just kept going because I just
46:42believed it. I was like, I know. I don't
46:44care how long it takes.
46:46>> Just kept going. And I'm I can anyone
46:49can do that.
46:49>> I love it.
46:51>> Badass.
46:52>> All right. So, I got a couple of rapid
46:54fire questions for you. Actually, before
46:56we do this, is there anything that if
46:58you were
47:00>> kind of somebody's watching, they're
47:01like, "All right, you got me. I'm fired
47:03up." What would be the like a word of
47:06encouragement you'd give them if they're
47:07starting the journey or maybe restarting
47:09it? Maybe they maybe they were the
47:11person that was like, "You know what?
47:12They took their foot off the gas pedal.
47:14They see you. They listen to your story.
47:16They're like, "All right, tap me back
47:18in."
47:18>> Yeah. Listen, if you want to succeed,
47:20you got to be plugged in. If you're not
47:23showing up to team calls, if you're not
47:25in the in the group chats, if you're not
47:28aware of what's going on in your company
47:30and your team, like that's the first
47:31place to start. Get yourself plugged in.
47:33You know, our weekly calls give so much
47:35um belief and fire and fuel for people.
47:38like it it really fires me up. Um I'm a
47:40big believer. I'm like get on the team
47:42calls at least because you got to just
47:44stay close to the fire, right? You got
47:46to stay plugged in. If you're trying to
47:47do this on your own, it's lonely. You're
47:50going to get burnt out. You don't know
47:51what you're doing. You got no support.
47:53So, I'm like, get yourself into the
47:55community. Like, be part of it. Like,
47:57plug yourself in. Number one. Um and you
48:00got to be consistent. Now, being
48:01consistent doesn't mean you have to show
48:02up seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
48:04Like, no. I'm a big believer on I take
48:06weekends off, I take evenings off. like
48:08I have my work hours. Um, so what is
48:11that for you? Finding your consistent
48:13like rhythm for you that you show up and
48:15I think understanding that you're going
48:17to have most days where you don't feel
48:18like it.
48:19>> Mhm.
48:20>> But that doesn't matter. You have to
48:21show up anyway. What can you do on those
48:23days if you're having a down day? Kind
48:24of what is your kind of baseline? What
48:26things can you do just to keep things
48:29moving along or know yourself? For me,
48:31when I'm having a really unmotivated
48:33like bad day, I know I have to get my
48:36face on camera. Because as I push myself
48:38because as soon as I do that, it just
48:40the motivation just breathe like comes
48:43back into me. You won't be motivated
48:45first. You you have to take action
48:47first. Yeah.
48:47>> And that brings in the motivation. So
48:49stay plugged in, get plugged in. Um be
48:52consistent and get better. Like if
48:54you're looking for mentorship, find
48:56someone that can help you. Um whether
48:58it's in your company or outside, you
49:00know, I found you guys like you guys are
49:02the ones that kept me so accountable.
49:04Um, for me, investing in mentorship was
49:07what kept me accountable because I'm
49:08like, I paid this money, now I need to
49:10like make it happen. You know what I
49:11mean?
49:12>> Um, but you've got to go and take
49:14action. Like, don't just sit back and
49:15wish it's going to happen because it
49:16won't unless you
49:19>> show up.
49:19>> Yeah.
49:20>> You know,
49:21>> good stuff. I'm glad I asked asked that
49:24question because I really appreciate the
49:25answer. So,
49:26>> we get questions from all over our fan
49:28base, all over the big blue marble, as
49:30we say, mailed [clears throat] to us to
49:32our corporate office. Oh, yeah.
49:35>> What is your go-to saying, phrase, or
49:38resource?
49:40Get yourself your best self on the
49:42daily.
49:44>> Um, do you know what? I have a post-it
49:46note that I put up like on my ring light
49:49in front of me, which I stare at on my
49:50computer, and I just say, "How would and
49:54whatever your like rank that is that you
49:56want to get to." So, for me, it was
49:58diamond, which is one of the top ranks
50:00of the my current company. And before I
50:02just have a post-it note like how would
50:04a diamond show up?
50:05>> Wow.
50:07>> That's it. I don't care if you're at the
50:08bottom rank. Like put up how if I want
50:12to be a diamond, you got to behave like
50:13one,
50:14>> right? You got to behave like that. How
50:16would they show up? Would they be
50:17showing up on their socials? Would they
50:20be showing up in a team call? Would they
50:22be going to the team calls? Like how
50:23plugged in are they? Like are they
50:24creating resources? Like, you know, not
50:26waiting for someone to create things for
50:28me. Do I need to go up and just get
50:29things done? You know, so that for me,
50:32so whatever it is that you're wanting,
50:33like how would they show up?
50:35>> That's awesome.
50:36>> Show up like that because
50:37>> I always say like even with a following,
50:39say on Instagram, you're complaining
50:41because you've got 100 followers. But if
50:43you're not even showing up for 100
50:44followers, why do you think that you
50:46deserve more?
50:47>> Yeah.
50:47>> You know, so show up for them and the
50:50rest will come. But you've got to show
50:52up as if you had 100,000 people there.
50:54>> Yeah.
50:54>> You know, would you show up differently
50:56if you had that kind of following?
50:57Probably. So, you got to kind of show up
50:59the way before it happens.
51:01>> Yeah. Nice.
51:02>> Yeah.
51:03>> Favorite city to visit?
51:05>> I mean, always Sydney Frog. I love going
51:07home. I miss it a lot. Um, so yeah, I
51:10always get goosebumps when I fly back in
51:12there.
51:12>> Do you like when when you're on the
51:14approach and you're looking out the
51:15window and you can you see like the
51:16harbor and all Yeah, it depends which
51:18way you come in, but when you do get the
51:19glimpse of the city and it it's the most
51:22it is the most beautiful city in the
51:23world and I maybe I'm biased, but
51:25>> I think it is it's a it's a gorgeous
51:27city and just you know and it's home. So
51:29you see it and you're like wow it's an
51:31amazing place but I also I love Chicago.
51:33>> I have been to Sydney and it was
51:36>> the best probably one of my favorite
51:38places I've ever visited.
51:39>> Okay.
51:40>> Very warmly received. Just the people
51:42there are awesome. Had great food.
51:44>> Oh yeah.
51:44>> I had a one of the best steaks I ever
51:46had. Oh yeah.
51:47>> City. Yeah. True story.
51:48>> Really good food.
51:48>> Yeah. And uh a lot of fun. Just a really
51:51cool city.
51:52>> It's I think it's a my friend was there
51:53recently. She and she described it I
51:55think perfectly was this perfect mix of
51:56urban and nature together.
51:58>> Yeah, that makes sense.
51:58>> You know what I mean? So it's like a
51:59proper city, worldass city. You've got
52:02the water, you've got like a lot of bush
52:03land. You've got, you know, all that.
52:05Lots of animals. Yeah. So
52:06>> pretty cool.
52:07>> Thing you're most proud of. Not business
52:09related.
52:11>> I would say my girls being a mom. You
52:14know, it's not always easy, but I feel
52:17like they're becoming good humans
52:19hopefully.
52:20>> Love it.
52:20>> They're pretty strong willed. They're
52:21very high energy, strong willed little
52:23girls, but they are confident. I was
52:26never confident as a kid. And they are
52:28so confident and very social and I love
52:32that about them. And I think, you know,
52:33moving here having knowing no one and
52:36and sort of starting from scratch, I'm
52:37really proud of that.
52:38>> Yeah.
52:39>> You know, doing it.
52:40>> That's a cool answer. Yeah. that I'm
52:42sure they look at you and they think,
52:43"Wow, mom is quite the uh quite the
52:46badass."
52:47>> I don't know. Well, I don't know.
52:48>> Maybe they don't shave.
52:50>> It's more like
52:52complaining about something. Phone. No,
52:55I think
52:56>> Yeah. Oh, they're at that age. That
52:57makes sense.
52:58>> Awesome.
52:59>> Betty Branson from Boise wants to know,
53:02"If you could be any animal, what would
53:03it be?"
53:04>> Oh god. Would I be an animal?
53:09Um,
53:13I don't know. Maybe
53:16a lion a lioness or something. Free run
53:20around. I don't know. I I really don't
53:22know. That's interesting. Or maybe
53:23something that could fly. That'd be
53:24cool, too.
53:25>> Yeah. Yeah. Probably something that
53:26could fly. That would be I don't know
53:27what my answer to that would be.
53:28>> It's hard. I have to really think about
53:29that.
53:30>> A great white shark.
53:32>> I don't know. I don't like being in the
53:33cold. I don't want to be in the water.
53:34>> Yeah. Yeah. I don't think they care.
53:36>> They don't care. I just do great white
53:38shark all day.
53:41>> Oh, that's funny.
53:42>> Awesome. I really appreciate you being
53:45here. It's been awesome. A lot of fun
53:47and so good to see you again.
53:49>> Me, too. I look, I could talk to you all
53:50day. Um, I'm so happy to be here. I
53:54>> so appreciative of this whole community,
53:56you know, and I just love giving back to
53:57it and, you know, it's like my second
53:59second home.
54:00>> Yeah. Well, we appreciate you. Where can
54:02people find you, follow you, get to know
54:04you more? So, uh, Instagram, just Megan
54:06Brazier, Meghan Brazier, or Facebook.

54:11probably my two platforms. I have a
54:14Facebook group, but you, you know, just

54:18how you're doing.
54:19>> Megan Brazier. It's been a pleasure.
54:20>> Thank you.
54:21>> All right. Thanks for being here.
