0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

0:23Welcome in.

0:30Wednesday, September 16th, the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.

0:37Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway, and the Ducers in the building for another episode.

0:42Another fine episode, indeed.

0:45Only the finest.

0:47I feel like that's how I would describe the Thursday night football matchup.

0:51See, that is the issue with today's episode.

0:54Why is that an issue?

0:55The Thursday night matchup.

0:56Because I want to enjoy it.

0:59It's an incredible matchup.

1:00The Lions going to the Bills.

1:02And it's like so much fantasy relevance.

1:04And we're going to have to sit here and hear about your team.

1:09No.

1:10I don't need to tell you about my team.

1:12You already know about it.

1:13Inside.

1:14Inside my heart.

1:15I doubt Josh Allen, Jameer Gibbs, and Amon Ross St. Brown do anything on Thursday.

1:20Now you're tempting me.

1:22Now you're bringing it to the forefront.

1:23No, look, I'm just excited.

1:25This is an awesome Thursday night matchup.

1:27It really is.

1:2954 and a half point over.

1:31And it doesn't hurt that both of these teams are in two of the best matchups in week one.

1:34Like the Saints game with the Lions was awesome.

1:37The Bills-Texans matchup.

1:41I got Mike already here.

1:42He's scouting.

1:44Wavers are running, guys.

1:44He's scouting waivers.

1:46Yeah.

1:46He's a big Debo guy.

1:47Picked up Debo for 17 fab.

1:49Felt like you had to do it, didn't you?

1:50Had to.

1:51Felt like you had to do it.

1:52The bench with Zay Flowers maybe or maybe not playing.

1:58I had to make an aggressive move for Debo, which don't hear what I'm not saying.

2:05I just needed a guy.

2:07This didn't feel too.

2:08No, it didn't feel great, but we did it anyways.

2:11Yeah.

2:12Matt Collins.

2:12I'm going to do it anyway.

2:13Matt Collins went for $12.

2:14Wow.

2:15Jason, you took Kenyon Sadiq for nine.

2:17I did.

2:18It fits my game plan of playing for 2027.

2:22Interesting.

2:22I got Caleb Douglas, it looks like.

2:25Okay.

2:25You did.

2:26It's hard when these go through on the show.

2:28It's hard not to take a glance.

2:29I was at six for Caleb Douglas, and I moved him down right before we came in here, so you're

2:37welcome.

2:37Well, I was at six for Caleb Douglas as well, but he was behind Sadiq.

2:42Okay.

2:42Yeah, I mean, I think we all thought it was kind of an uninspiring week one waiver list.

2:47I said that to you this morning.

2:48I think in the last decade, this was the least exciting week one waivers that we've experienced.

2:56It just wasn't really a home run pickup.

2:59It's a little bit of the double-edged sword, because if there's a hot running back pickup,

3:03it's an injury.

3:04Generally, that means that there was an injury.

3:06Every once in a while, you get a James Robinson who you're like, seems like it's out of nowhere.

3:12Wide receivers, they're more likely to come out of nowhere, but no one really hit the

3:19home run.

3:19Yeah.

3:20Yeah.

3:20Yeah.

3:21We always remind people, and it's a good time to do it.

3:24We say, drop it like it's hot.

3:25You want to check your waiver wire after it runs and see who people released.

3:31Not thinking there's going to be a fight in this league for anybody.

3:33Xavier Worthy, Terrence Ferguson, Najee Harris, and Tyrone Tracy, and Justice Hill hit the waiver

3:38wire.

3:38They're going to stay there.

3:39But maybe your league's different, because there's probably some of these disappointing

3:43week one guys.

3:44We went through the, what was it, bounce back or buns yesterday?

3:47Mm-hmm.

3:48And some of those...

3:50It's heavy on the science.

3:52Yeah, the scientific segment there.

3:54And the data.

3:55But no, I mean, there'll be guys that hit the waiver wire this week for sure.

3:58I thought it was going to be Tyler Shuck, and then the second half happened.

4:02I thought I'd be releasing him.

4:04But back into the show here, we have a fun quick question.

4:09We're going to do take checks, just a quick week one inventory on things we feel like we

4:14got right so far.

4:16And what you've more not got right, just like, what do you feel good about right now?

4:19What do you feel bad about?

4:20Right.

4:20From what you thought in the offseason.

4:22We'll get into some news.

4:24We'll preview the Thursday night game that Jason's excited about.

4:27And then we'll talk some mailbag.

4:29But a couple of reminders at the top.

4:31If you haven't done it, we have two apps.

4:34We have the UDK app, which people use all offseason to get ready for their drafts.

4:37But it's a good reminder.

4:39Pick up the free Fantasy Footballers app on the App Store, Apple or Android.

4:43And it's, you know, our rankings are in there.

4:45We got articles.

4:46All the Foot Clan perks are in there.

4:48It's absolutely free.

4:49You can grab that right now on the App Store.

4:51It's a good reminder.

4:52And then if you want to join the community, jointhefoot.com, Ultimate Dashboard, all of

4:59our premium in-season tools, custom waiver wire, spot starts, and tons of other resources,

5:06including a bonus episode of the show every week.

5:08Absolutely.

5:08And the Ultimate Dashboard, it's the only way to do your waivers, honestly.

5:12It's so helpful.

5:13It is really being able to see all your leagues at a glance with waivers, who's available,

5:21go league by league.

5:22It just speeds things up tremendously.

5:24If you're in one league, it's still helpful.

5:27But if you're in multiple leagues, it's like I can't live without it anymore.

5:31So we just had our chopped league, our guillotine league waivers go through.

5:37And it looks like I have Jamar Chase now.

5:40You sure do.

5:41Morgan of East.

5:42You devil.

5:42I bid 6-6-6 on him.

5:45Yeah.

5:46It looks like it wasn't, I mean, everybody bid on him.

5:49It wasn't too much higher than where the hitman was.

5:56Colson Loveland went for 3-16.

5:59If you're in a chopped league or you don't know what that is, they're pretty fun.

6:02We did it for the first time last year, 18 people.

6:05One person, the lowest score, gets chopped every week.

6:08Raise your hand if you were chopped this week.

6:10Okay.

6:10Okay.

6:11Yeah.

6:11For those listening at home, Al Borland's hand went up.

6:14Gave you Jamar Chase.

6:16You're welcome.

6:16One less thing to worry about.

6:18But yeah.

6:19So interesting.

6:20Yeah.

6:21Those just popped through as well.

6:22It's always week one in a chopped league.

6:24You don't know how much to spend.

6:25Nope.

6:26I mean, the budget's 1,000.

6:27Yeah.

6:28So you can spend up, but you really don't know how much to spend.

6:32Some people really don't know how much to spend.

6:35And we get, who are you talking about?

6:36I'm talking about 150 bones spent on Demarcus Robinson.

6:40Who did that?

6:40Jake, one of the guys in the.

6:42He got chopped first last year.

6:44So he had no idea.

6:45Yeah.

6:45He's going heavy.

6:46He outbid the $5.

6:47That's what I thought.

6:48$5 was the second bid.

6:50Oh, Jake.

6:50Oh, man.

6:51People, you know, like more and more I'm starting to get the guillotine chopped advice.

6:56Like, hey, what do I do here?

6:57And it's like, dude, I don't know that there's boilerplate for any of chopped league.

7:03Because it's so contextual.

7:05Yeah.

7:05It's so subjective to your roster.

7:06You want to be able to have fab over the course of the season, but you also don't want to get chopped.

7:14Because once you get chopped, you're out and you go to the grave with all your money.

7:18Yeah.

7:18It's fun.

7:19Can't take it with you.

7:20I feel like I overspent, but not by too much.

Take Checks

7:25All right.

7:25Quick question.

7:26Let's do those take checks.

7:27Let's talk about one, two, three things you feel good about in terms of what week one might have confirmed about the offseason thought processes.

7:38Sure.

7:38Some of the things that I think I feel good about getting right based on week one.

7:47Jackson Dart was a guy that I, you know, I tried to take a lot of shots on.

7:51He looked good week one.

7:52That one's tough because it was Dallas and Dallas's defense looked like 2025.

7:57So, you know, that one I'm tempered, but I'm excited because he did look good.

8:03He looked mature.

8:04His play style, he still ran the ball.

8:06Everything that I was hoping for.

8:08And he has neighbors from week one.

8:10And likely.

8:10Like, the fact that there's two, it seems like there's two strong weapons for him.

8:15And then Malachi Fields can, like, come along slowly and maybe turn into a third option.

8:21Yeah, I was not as into Devon Achan.

8:26You know, I was worried about the offense for Achan.

8:28That seemed a little bit worrisome.

8:30He didn't get, you know, he scored fewer fantasy points this week than in any week last year.

8:35I also saw a thread of plays where there were potential checkdowns that turned into scrambles for Malik Willis.

8:43Yeah, it's going to happen.

8:44And it was like, you know, you just watch that and it's like, okay, that's three or four targets a game.

8:48Which is like, it's not, it's just a couple plays.

8:51But that is, that's a baseline of like four fantasy points.

8:54I also think Malik Willis in week one was the lowest on target rate percentage wise for his passes in general.

9:01The offense did not get momentum at any point in that game.

9:04I mean, I think there were like one or two times we were like, oh, here's a drive.

9:08Like, you just, there's some things to be concerned about.

9:10Hopefully he can work it out.

9:11And he's playing with two rookies.

9:12I mean, he's a great player.

9:13So you hope that that, oh, I mean, it can overcome like Bijon did with Cooper Rush in that game.

9:18And that's what you'd love to see.

9:19But yeah, the check downs are going to be a problem.

9:20And then of course, Bucky Irving.

9:23Oh, wait a minute.

9:24The guy that.

9:24Your unofficial my guy?

9:25Wait a minute.

9:26Yes, my unofficial my guy clearly was that dude.

9:28What an offseason.

9:29I feel like you almost said nothing about him all offseason.

9:31Man, all offseason.

9:32He spoke with his actions.

9:33That's right.

9:34That's right, Mike.

9:35It was the subtext of most of the other things you said.

9:37Yeah.

9:38I feel good about Caleb and the Bears so far.

9:40I mean, Caleb was my guy and the Bears, the bold prediction.

9:44I said they'd all break out.

9:46I feel great about Isaiah Likely.

9:48He was a darling and in the offseason.

9:51Great start.

9:52And then I think we all, we had the conversation about Drake London and how it might be a problem

9:59without a trustworthy quarterback.

10:01I think we saw that in week one.

10:03We didn't know how untrustworthy his quarterback play was going to be in week one.

10:07It will get better with Pua, but still concerning.

10:12Well, and then Ladd.

10:13I feel good about the involvement.

10:15And it seemed like Ladd was the dude.

10:17He was eating.

10:17Yes.

10:18And even though the injury happened.

10:21I feel good about that, Mike.

10:22What do you feel good about so far?

10:23I feel good about my optimism for the change in the Ravens offense that getting old hat,

10:29old busted out of there, get the Ben Johnson system down to Lamar Jackson, see what he can do.

10:36You know, that's still, that's a one game.

10:38It's like the, what you were saying about Dart, Jay.

10:40Like, it's the one game.

10:41It's the Colts.

10:43I'm not going to victory lap it yet, but it feels, if you got Flowers or Henry on your team,

10:49you're feeling really good.

10:50The Cleveland Browns are who we thought they were, and they are, it's an absolute fantasy graveyard.

10:58You were very hands-off on all of their players, and so far it looks like you should be hands-off

11:02on all of their players.

11:03Yeah, it's just.

11:04And maybe you can get the Shadur thing going.

11:06Maybe.

11:07Because Fannin was good with Shadur.

11:08Maybe that happens.

11:09Maybe that's the salvation for Tua.

11:10That's for the Falcons.

11:12Sometimes you, like, drop your wedding ring into the toilet, right?

11:16Right.

11:16And it's like, sometimes that water's clean.

11:18I'm just saying.

11:18I'm just going along with it, dude.

11:20Hypothetically.

11:20I'm good.

11:21I've never had this happen.

11:22I've never had it happen, but my point is, if you drop something in a toilet, sometimes it's like,

11:26oh, good, there's nothing in that toilet.

11:28Still gross.

11:29I've got to get it out.

11:30Okay.

11:30God.

11:31Oh, yeah, yeah.

11:31This is like, Quinch on Judkins.

11:34I don't know where we're going.

11:35Is in a toilet bowl of diarrhea.

11:37And it's like, that's a good player down there.

11:40But are you really going to go try to grab that?

11:42No.

11:43You just got to flush the whole team away.

11:45You got to flush the whole team down the drain.

11:47Just let that ring go.

11:49All the nice gyms.

11:50Yeah.

11:51Concepcion.

11:51Yeah, yeah.

11:52And, you know, everybody, just flush them.

11:55Okay.

11:55There you go.

11:56Perfect.

11:57They're a nasty bowl.

11:58We're all tracking.

11:59Just disgusting.

12:01The sidewalls are ruined.

12:04If I don't talk, he's going to keep talking.

12:06There is.

12:07And there's more to be worried about than just Deshaun Watson and the quarterback play.

12:11Like, the usage of Harold Fannin was not what it was.

12:16And I'm not just talking targets.

12:17I'm, like, talking his actual being on the field, running routes.

12:1982% of snaps.

12:20Like, it's not what it was.

12:22I took a little glansky at this morning.

12:23And then I'm feeling good about Stephon Diggs as the, you know, when he signed on with Washington,

12:29took him in, like, a lot of mock drafts of saying that this player's ADP is not going to catch up.

12:35And he was 1,000 yards off of his ACL last year for Drake May.

12:39He also had very good separation numbers in week one, if you looked at that.

12:42He also, look, it's a, Diggs and Antonio Williams, who I thought looked outstanding,

12:46are a problem for Terry McLaurin in a real way.

12:50Yeah.

12:51In a way of consistency from Terry McLaurin.

12:53He's not the only show in town anymore.

12:55He's going to have his games.

12:56But I think you have reliable pass-catching options that are emerging there that are a threat to McLaurin being a safe start every week.

13:04McLaurin's target market share has always been one of his saving graces.

13:07It's just like he's been on an island, the only person to throw it to.

13:11And now if you do have other options, it's going to be tough, especially for an offense that doesn't necessarily look great.

13:16That offensive line is hurting.

13:18And it'll be interesting because Antonio Williams, I think he only played 43% of snaps.

13:22He got a touchdown and looked great.

13:24Will he play his way onto the field more and more, or will he just kind of have that slot role?

13:29Yeah, he was targeted on a high percentage of routes when he got the opportunity.

13:33It was neat to see.

13:34And don't forget McLaurin's super year was like 11 touchdowns.

13:38And so you had what?

13:39Antonio Williams and Diggs was a touchdown in week one.

13:42It wasn't all good.

13:43Some of the things that...

13:44Yeah, what do you feel shaky about after week one?

13:46Some of my opinions I feel shaky about in both directions.

13:49Speaking of the Ravens' offense, Mike, I was worried about Derrick Henry with the loss of the offensive line, the loss of their fullback.

13:55Like, will this work for Henry?

13:57Yeah.

13:58He was fine.

14:00He's immortal.

14:01Totally okay.

14:02Anyway, I was optimistic that with Kevin Petulo out of the way and Sean Mannion taking over kind of the ping pong we've seen over the last like six years for the Eagles,

14:14where good coordinator, bad coordinator, good coordinator, bad coordinator.

14:18Week one, I was so uninspired by the Eagles' offense.

14:21And not just the play, but like that.

14:24It just looked like more of the same.

14:26Like, where's a good offense?

14:29Right.

14:29Is this really just a Jalen Hurts problem?

14:32And then my biggest fear, because he's my guy, is I still have zero doubts on the talent of Carnell Tate.

14:39Cam Ward.

14:42Here, Jay, you intended.

14:44Yes, thank you, Mike.

14:45Your intentions were good that Carnell Tate was going to be a great player.

14:50You know, we talk about, when we talk about the worst teams in the league, which we've done a lot this offseason, we have brought up, you know, the Cardinals, the Jets, the Dolphins, the Browns.

15:02Those teams are like, who's going to get that number one pick?

15:06It might be the Titans.

15:07I mean, the Titans might be the worst than all of them.

15:11I, mine are easy ones.

15:13It's obvious.

15:14A-chan Malik, Dolphins, week one, not good.

15:17We'll see what it looks like over the next couple weeks, but the schedule's tough.

15:22I expected more.

15:24Hopefully, Chris Bell can get, like, better involved.

15:26It was not, I mean, Caleb Douglas was a success story from week one.

15:30Five for 94 in his debut, playing 92% of snaps or something.

15:34And then Marvin Pitts.

15:36I mean, Marvin Harrison and Kyle Pitts combined for one catch in week one.

15:40And I was kind of hopeful for both of those guys.

15:43So we'll see if it's prescriptive or just an anomaly.

15:47But those three situations I feel nervous about.

15:51Sure.

15:51I'm, you know, I was kind of apathetic on Justin Jefferson of feeling just, man, I don't know if I'm, I'm not willing to take that risk.

16:01And this one still is TBD.

16:02Because if you would, if I knew that Carson Wentz was starting for the Minnesota Vikings.

16:07How funny.

16:08Yeah, it's ridiculous.

16:09How funny.

16:09It's so absurd.

16:11If we knew that the third string quarterback from two weeks ago was going to be starting, we'd obviously love Justin Jefferson.

16:19Because I know that he's capable to get Justin Jefferson the ball.

16:23And he forces him the ball.

16:24He's just, he's like a top tier, I'm sorry, he knows that Jefferson needs to get those targets.

16:31And when he's not open, it doesn't matter.

16:32You just throw him the ball.

16:34And it was week one, but Steelers backfield, man, it, it looks like it's just a.

16:39A mess.

16:40And on top of the, you know, the Steelers were very pass heavy.

16:45They were pushing the ball downfield.

16:47I mentioned this in the, um, on the dynasty show that's coming out today.

16:51So you can, you can check that out as well.

16:54But like how bad I came away from watching DK Metcalf.

16:57It was so horrible.

16:59But the opportunities were there.

17:03Like this isn't just, just garbage check downs to DK Metcalf.

17:06I made offers on him this week.

17:08These, these are like big boy, high a dot.

17:10If DK Metcalf can actually come through with the opportunities, which again, he didn't, he stunk.

17:19But you want, like you got to buy into situations and offenses and, and like, just hope that the player can come through with what they're being asked to do.

17:28Just to be clear, you were, you were optimistic the Steelers backfield would have value.

17:33Yes.

17:34It didn't look that way in week.

17:34No, it didn't.

17:35It, it looked like a split mess.

17:38Okay.

17:38Let's do some news.

NFL News

17:42News and notes from around the league.

17:47Dajon Stribling placed on IR with the ankle injury.

17:50This was news that broke moments ago.

17:52Don't worry.

17:53He's doubtful on sleeper.

17:54That, that just broke Jason.

17:56That will get fixed momentarily.

17:58Jacoby Lane is expected to undergo wrist surgery in the coming days, potentially as long, uh, as soon as Wednesday could miss about a month.

18:06Uh, the update to the Josh Jacobs situation.

18:09We found out yesterday that his ex-girlfriend who's involved in the, uh, the case filed a motion to seal evidence and discovery materials in the criminal case.

18:18It makes it more challenging for video footage to be released by anybody.

18:22It's not just his side that wants to file for that.

18:25It's her side.

18:26And, um, she wants to protect her privacy is what she said in the documents.

18:30So the, the room, I don't know the NFL can get the tape.

18:33The reporting, the reporting after Jacobs did this was that the NFL, uh, was still trying to get the video.

18:41They, they, they want to see that, you know, as part of their investigation to know what to do.

18:45Then after that was reported, her team, uh, did the same thing and, and filed the seal.

18:50And so I don't know if the NFL will go against the, you know, the, the filings and wishes of, of the victim.

18:58The video opened them up to like a year long suspension or something like that to me.

19:02Uh, you know, we've seen, I mean, the Ray Rice situation is an example where we never saw him again.

19:07Right.

19:08Um, what is your expectation?

19:11I mean, I, I, I think maybe it'll be a six game suspension with to put it time served, you know, like games missed,

19:20credited towards maybe he's back in week seven.

19:22Yeah.

19:23I think that would, if, if I had to make any sort of projection or moves based off of the evidence, that's what I would go with.

19:30The Brock Bowers news has been positive and it continues to be.

19:33The knee injury is not overly serious.

19:35According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the team felt he could have played this week if necessary.

19:39And it's possible he returns this week, but they do not want to play him until he's a hundred percent certain until they're a hundred percent certain.

19:46He's not effective.

19:47The last sentence.

19:47I believe you'll see the latest, the latest to see him as week four, according to Dan Graziano.

19:53Okay.

19:54So he's that, is that, what are we doing?

19:56Is that not serious?

19:57What are we doing?

19:58So two more weeks off maybe?

20:00He might play this week.

20:01The latest you'll see him as week four.

20:05Okay.

20:06Come on.

20:06All right.

20:07Come on.

20:08Omar Cooper Jr.

20:09High ankle sprain.

20:09A lot of rookie injury news, by the way.

20:12Lane, Stribling, Omar Cooper.

20:14Week to week.

20:16We'll see.

20:17I don't think he has a lot of value in fantasy.

20:19Dylan Sampson's placed on IR by the Browns.

20:22What was the name of the?

20:23Raheem.

20:24Raheem Sanders.

20:25Yes.

20:25Is the backup.

20:26Yeah.

20:26And he did get playing time and he is kind of a dynasty.

20:29This, this was part of the Judkins problem of how Todd Monken has run his offenses.

20:35It doesn't matter who the primary grinder on the ground is.

20:39And if they're able to catch the ball, which Judkins is, he always had someone else.

20:44And it's when Dylan Sampson went down, they're like, Hey, all right, Raheem.

20:47Now it's your job.

20:48It, so it just really hurts the, the ceiling and the floor for Judkins.

20:53All right.

20:54We'll take a break and we'll talk some Thursday night football, get into some mailbag and help

Thursday Night Breakdown: Lions at Bills

22:09Thursday night breakdown.

22:13All right.

22:14The Detroit Lions want to know by the skin of their teeth.

22:19Barely.

22:20Yeah.

22:20Buffalo Bills want to know.

22:23One two point conversion.

22:24By the skin of their teeth.

22:26I mean, both these teams, they were in nail biters.

22:28Vegas line, Buffalo minus five and a half at home over under 54 and a half.

22:33Let's just call it.

22:33So close.

22:34Let's just call it.

22:3455!

22:35We round up around here.

22:37Buffalo, 30 point implied total.

22:39255, of course.

22:40Yeah, 255.

22:41We round always up.

22:42If it's 53 and a half, we don't really care.

22:44No.

22:44Honestly, if it was like 55 and a half, we round down.

22:47Yeah, we probably round down.

22:49Lions implied point total.

22:5024 and a half.

22:51I mean, that's a huge over under 54.5.

22:54That's awesome.

22:54I mean, we did not see.

22:55Either of these defenses able to stop people in the second half.

23:01Houston moved the ball.

23:02Three touchdowns for Montgomery.

23:03Tyler Shuck got it going.

23:05They were awesome in the second half against the Lions.

23:10This should be fun.

23:11This should be really fun.

23:13This is the stuff fantasy football dreams are made of.

23:14The weather is great.

23:17You know, no worries because it's in Buffalo.

23:20The time of year.

23:21There's nothing in the way of a ton of fantasy points.

23:26And congratulations, Andy.

23:28He doesn't want to see me smile.

23:30There's people listening that need advice, Jason.

23:32Here's what I would say.

23:33On this game?

23:34Really?

23:35Since 2021.

23:36Play them.

23:37There have been 41 games since 2021 that had an over under a 53 or higher.

23:41And the highest scoring of those 41 games was Buffalo against Detroit, 48 to 42.

23:48And that was in 2024.

23:51This should be a lot of fun.

23:53You got this new look Buffalo offense with Joe Brady.

23:57He did his best.

23:59He did the Ben Johnson.

24:01He tore the shirt off in the locker room.

24:03Yeah.

24:04Didn't work.

24:04He doesn't work out.

24:06He doesn't work out as much.

24:07I'd leave it to Ben Johnson.

24:08Yeah.

24:08If you're going to pull that move, people, when it happens, have to go, oh.

24:14Yeah.

24:14They've got to be surprised.

24:15I'm surprised.

24:16Yeah.

24:17I mean, when he did, I was like, oh.

24:19Yeah.

24:20That's what I thought.

24:21That's what I thought it would look like.

24:22Okay.

24:22You did that.

24:23Yeah.

24:23I mean, look.

24:24That's cute.

24:25I'm not.

24:26It's better than me doing it.

24:28But when Ben Johnson's the standard, don't do it.

24:33Josh Allen.

24:34Play him.

24:35Jameer Gibbs.

24:36Yep.

24:36By the way, Josh Allen, most rushing touchdown since the beginning of 2023.

24:44That's crazy.

24:45I'm on quarterbacks.

24:4644 of them.

24:47Gibbs has the most rushing touchdowns among running backs.

24:49He's already all time, right?

24:49Kyle, he's got the most all time, right?

24:52Most all time is Josh Allen.

24:53Yeah.

24:54So, Allen's the most among quarterbacks.

24:55You say most since this time, you could just go back to the beginning.

25:02You can pick any date you want.

25:03I guess he just wanted to let us know he's scored 44 times since 2023.

25:06Ah, okay.

25:07Okay.

25:07But, so Allen's the most among quarterbacks.

25:11Gibbs is the most among running backs.

25:1251 of them since 2023.

25:14And then don't worry.

25:15Amon Ra is the most among wide receivers since 2023.

25:18So, all of them since 2023.

25:20James Cook just broke their, you know, all-time rushing touchdown record as well a year ago.

25:25So, Allen, Gibbs, Amon Ra the most.

25:28And if anybody's got all three of those guys, you're in good shape.

25:31How are you feeling about Jameson Williams coming off of a disaster of a game?

25:38It really was.

25:39I mean, the volume's there.

25:40Nine targets, but it was four for 45 with how many were credited?

25:45Probably three drops.

25:46He was tackled at the one-yard line.

25:49I was mostly optimistic about the utilization.

25:53The drops, they can happen.

25:55Yeah, they come and go.

25:56But the plays where, look, they would have been big plays if he held on to the football.

26:00And so, I wasn't too discouraged.

26:03I mean, 36% of the first-read targets, I don't think they're going to go away from that.

26:06They've said it publicly that they're not worried about the drops.

26:10So, pretty, I mean, in this game, yeah.

26:13Fire them up.

26:14You can't ask for more.

26:15Jameson Williams, to me, if people are disappointed in that first week, I think you should go trade for him.

26:20The utilization was perfect.

26:22The worry was like, okay, Sam Laporte is on the field.

26:25Is he going to run the same amount of routes?

26:26Is he going to have that participation, the amount of targets?

26:28Nine targets, 95% route participation, 77% outside.

26:34It was everything you want other than catching the ball, and that's going to happen sometimes.

26:39So, Jameson Williams is a must.

26:41Yeah.

26:42I think he's an absolute must start.

26:45So, that's easy.

26:46I mean, I think golf, when you look at the matchup, you are going on the road.

26:49We don't love golf on the road as much, but did I mention the 54.5 point over-under?

26:55It's pretty delicious.

26:56I think he's stream-worthy.

26:57I mean, Stroud was fine.

26:59Yeah.

27:00I think you're stream-worthy there.

27:03DJ Moore, fire him up.

27:06Spot starts in this game, I don't think Khalil Shakir is a bad spot start in a game with this high of and over-under, a 30-point implied point total.

27:13If you're looking for ones in that category, I mean, he's a go-to guy for Josh Allen.

27:20Six targets last week.

27:22Yeah.

27:22I mean, you just could do worse, is my point.

27:25Yeah, not everything is going to be a top-end player.

27:29You've got to fill out an entire roster.

27:29You just picked up Debo.

27:31Yeah.

27:31Would you rather play Debo or?

27:33I would.

27:34I'd rather play Debo.

27:34I would as well.

27:35We like Purdy this week, too.

27:37Kincaid and Laporta, I think, are both in play.

27:40Absolutely.

27:40I mean, this is not a complicated game.

27:42No, that's what I was saying.

27:43People don't really need our advice here.

27:44It's like, do you have a lion on your roster right now?

27:48If you do, start them.

27:50Isaac Tesla.

27:50Do you have?

27:50No, that's right.

27:51But that's not someone that you probably are rostering right now.

27:54No, he's not rostered.

27:55If you already have a lion or a bill on your roster, plug them in your lineup.

27:59Also, the biggest advice we can give you is get them out of your flex.

28:02Yes.

28:03And put them into your running back or your wide receiver spot.

28:06Now we're helping.

28:07So that you leave flexibility.

28:08James Cook will be fine.

28:10The excitement here is just.

28:11He's going to have a great game.

28:12Wee.

28:13Wee.

28:13Yeah, start them all.

28:14I mean, I look at every name.

28:15Allen, Cook, Moore.

28:17Put your hands in the air.

28:18Yeah.

28:19And get ready.

28:20And wave them like you just don't care.

28:21What a game.

28:22This is going to be so fun.

28:24It is really.

28:25Oh, man.

28:25Look at both those dudes back there.

28:27I mean, I know that we have had.

28:29You can do it, guys.

28:30There are plenty of matchups in the past with a over 50 point over under, which is exciting.

28:36That disappoints.

28:37Yes.

28:38It happens.

28:38This is the NFL.

28:39And, you know, I can't fathom a world where this game.

28:45Maybe it doesn't hit the over because it's so high, but I can't fathom a game where it's like.

28:51Not an exciting offensive output in some capacity.

28:55It's hard for me to imagine at home, the home opener for Buffalo.

28:58Buffalo, they can't score on the Lions defense after what we saw last week.

29:02And if they score, then it's going to be wheels up for Detroit trying to get back into this game.

29:07I mean, it is a five and a half point line for Buffalo.

29:09I get it.

29:10I mean, it makes sense.

29:11They looked pretty good.

29:12My goodness, the Lions defense in week one gave up 45 fantasy points to the Vele-Olave combo.

29:23Yeah.

29:24That was impressive.

29:26Mr. Vele with the two diving catches.

29:29Yeah, this game is easy.

29:30I'm just kind of wasting time here.

29:32I mean, what else?

29:32Let's go to the mailbag there.

Mailbag

29:33Is there any questions?

29:34No.

29:35Let's do some mailbag.

29:39Mailbag.

29:40Mailbag.

29:41Mailbag.

29:41Presented by Paramount+.

29:43I feel like that was a little quiet.

29:47What?

29:47You were a little chill.

29:49I didn't feel that.

29:50Oh, okay.

29:51Maybe my ears are clogged.

29:53If you have a question.

29:54Is there a clog, Grandpa?

29:56The FantasyFootballers.com.

29:57Submit a question.

29:59Button or dial the voicemail hotline 302-464-TFFB.

30:02Looks like we have some voicemail questions in here.

Guillotine League Ethics

30:05Let's start with a, I think, a Chopped League question.

30:09What's up, Ballers?

30:10It's Doc.

30:11From Atlanta.

30:12A quick question about these guillotine leagues.

30:14I've got some buddies that are really doing some nefarious things in the chat, trying to

30:20bait everybody into spending all their budget at the beginning, you know?

30:23Yeah.

30:23This first week, we had a Jamar Chase hit the wire, and everybody's saying, oh, I bet

30:27it all.

30:27I bet it all.

30:29Kind of like a poker match here.

30:30What do you guys do to keep it clean but still get a little dirty on the chat forums?

30:37Guillotine leagues.

30:37Let me know.

30:38Let me know.

30:39I mean, this was our lunch conversation yesterday.

30:41I was trying to tell people to spend up.

30:42I think that's part of the fun.

30:44League chat influencing.

30:46And here's, you don't have to worry about collusion in the guillotine league.

30:54I don't think.

30:54Yeah.

30:55Yeah.

30:56You're saying when you're talking about spending money.

30:59No.

31:00At that point, you're just trying to affect markets.

31:02Yeah.

31:03I mean, it's survival of the fittest.

31:04I mean, you just do whatever you want to do.

31:06Dude.

31:08Lather me up in the mud, bro.

31:10I don't.

31:10Yeah.

31:10I don't think.

31:11I'm getting dirty.

31:11I think that's part of the fun is taunting people into trying to spend.

31:17I mean, I had no idea what people were going to spend.

31:19At the lunch conversation, I didn't think I was getting Jamar Chase for $666.

31:26You didn't think you were going to give up?

31:28No.

31:28We really did talk it up.

31:30I mean, Mike bid $515.

31:31Yeah.

31:32I was there.

31:33But the Demarcus Robinson guy, the guy who paid $150 for him.

31:37Yeah, we got him good.

31:38I thought he said he really needed him.

31:40I thought he was going to spend $1,000.

31:43I mean, I have seen some resources come out.

31:46We may put some up on the site in terms of like fab guides for these players at some point.

31:51So, I mean, it's so difficult to actually tell people what to do.

31:55I think that the best way to think of it is it's a pretty big range for these guys.

31:59And then you add your context to the range.

32:01It's like, you know, Chase is probably, you know, it's $375 to $500.

32:10You know, something in that range.

32:11Like, that's probably a fair price for him.

32:13I guess we could.

32:14You get the most weeks in week one.

32:16That's another factor, right?

32:17Like, you get the guy for the longest amount of time.

32:20But on the flip side, you also have the most amount of teams that have an opportunity to be better than.

32:29And so, you know, it's one of those what the small research that I've done, because this is a newer league in the last couple of years, play style, is that saving your fab is more valuable.

32:41Obviously, your team context is going to very much matter.

32:46If you don't have a wide receiver to play or a running back to play, go hard in the paint.

32:50Because if you, you know, if you are going out there and putting up a goose egg and you're out, you're out.

32:54Yeah, that's the funniest part about saving fab, right?

32:57Right.

32:57It's so valuable unless you go out.

33:00Then it is the dumbest.

33:02I mean, people last year, I feel like the first four or five of the first six or seven people that went out had full fab budgets.

33:10100%.

33:11They didn't spend.

33:12A lot of them spent on Brock Bowers.

33:14Well, that eventually happened.

33:15But I do remember, I think the first three weeks, it was like almost full budget people that went out.

33:21Oh, but.

33:22Which just feels bad.

33:23Like, if I go out now, I went out swinging.

33:26And yet, Matt is saying the people that won, as I assume you're saying Schneider, didn't spend until week four or five.

33:33Yeah.

33:34Yes, because if you can thread the needle, if you make it through with that roster, you got, you know, you didn't draft Josh Jacobs.

33:39Yeah.

33:39Or someone who got injured.

33:42And Marv.

33:44Yeah, that's where I think at the beginning of the year, you just have to not be the worst.

33:48And when there's 17 and 18 and 16 and 15 teams that, like, you've got good odds at not being the worst.

33:55Yep.

33:56Save your money, and then you can get bigger and better studs that drop to waivers for cheaper later.

34:02All right.

34:03Justin in New York.

34:04Hey, Ballers.

34:04What do we do with A.J. Brown right now?

34:06Should I try to trade him for someone that will at least play these next few weeks?

34:10Who would be the cheapest player you would be comfortable trading him for now?

34:14I think that's a good question to work through here.

34:16Yeah.

34:17If you feel like he was a key cog, you don't have a bunch of other depth or players that are going to carry you.

34:23I mean, we've got rest of season rankings that are valuable for situations like this, where you're like, okay, well, how do you value him on the season?

34:32And so let me bring up some names and see if you guys would be willing to trade, you know, right now.

34:39He's really low for me.

34:41Yeah, he's pretty low.

34:42Where is he in your rest of season wide receiver rankings?

34:44Because I've got my number.

34:45He's at 35 for me right now.

34:47He's at 27 for me.

34:48Yeah, he's at 34.

34:50So above, the name's just above A.J. Brown for me that I would trade him for based on rest of season rankings.

34:56Luther Burden.

34:57Yeah.

34:58Jamison Williams.

34:59Mike Evans.

35:01J-Mo, you might be able to do.

35:03Oh, yeah.

35:03A Burden.

35:04I don't think you're going to get that trade.

35:06Roman Dunze is just below him for me.

35:07I'm guessing he's above for you guys.

35:09He is.

35:09Devontae Adams.

35:10Would you do that?

35:11Because, I mean, it sounds like he's above yours.

35:13I would do it for Adams.

35:14I would do it for Rome.

35:16I would do it for Jamison.

35:16It's a lot of weeks, guys.

35:17It's six weeks plus some reduced production.

35:19Yeah.

35:20And never proved that he's been with May and done it yet.

35:24Yeah.

35:24This is a player I was extremely bullish on.

35:28Just check his rosters, guys.

35:30Yeah, I know.

35:30He put his money where his mouth was.

35:32I still believe that, you know, it'll work out in the end.

35:36But if you don't make the playoffs, it doesn't matter if they go off during them.

35:41Yeah.

35:42Yeah.

35:42Yeah, that one's really unfortunate.

35:45It's just a big injury that happened early.

35:49And you've got to – sometimes you do have to do this.

35:51You just have to accept your losses.

35:54A.J. Brown is not worth what A.J. Brown was.

35:56And how did the rest of your draft go?

35:57Like, did you hit on one of the middle or late round wide receivers that you can –

36:01like, you can tread water with them?

36:04Is it –

36:06When it comes to trading the big boys like this, it's just –

36:10it's so difficult to give a blanket statement of what I would do with that player.

36:17Jason brought up the rest of the season rankings,

36:18but those are what factor into the trade analyzer algorithms that we have on in the Foot Clan.

36:23So there is a trade analyzer.

36:24You can plug names in there right now and see how we balance it out based on rest of season rankings.

36:30That's a quick way to put some of the other names maybe on these opponents of yours.

36:34Put them in there and see what we think about it.

36:36That's at jointhefoot.com.

36:37Let's do another voicemail.

Jacobs and Loveland for Bowers?

36:39Hey, Ballers.

36:40Would you trade Josh Jacobs and Colston Loveland for Brock Bowers?

36:46Half point PPR.

36:47Thanks, bud.

36:47Hmm.

36:48Big no for me.

36:50Yeah, that's a no for me as well.

36:52I think that you are then having to find a tight end to play.

36:57Would you trade just one for one, Loveland for Bowers?

37:00That is interesting.

37:02Yes, easily.

37:04You would trade away Loveland to receive Bowers?

37:06Easily.

37:07Yeah.

37:07I'm on the Bowers side still.

37:10I wondered, though, when the injury happened, like, would you?

37:13But I don't think I would.

37:15However, if you're adding in Josh Jacobs, which I expect you're going to have half of a season

37:19of a, you know, an RB1, at least probably a top 15 running back, but potentially a top

37:26five running back.

37:27I mean, that's where he was last year before his knee injury.

37:30I would rather have Loveland and Jacobs.

37:34Okay.

37:36Did Mike answer that?

37:37The solo?

37:38The solo?

37:38I would not do the two.

37:40I'm still thinking of your immediate.

37:44You're like, no, I would take Bowers over Loveland.

37:46I'm worried about the knee.

37:48I'm worried about the knee.

37:49That's all it comes down to.

37:51I'm very optimistic that the knee is not going to be a problem for more than a week or two

37:54more.

37:55Right.

37:55Well, I'm saying long term.

37:56Yeah.

37:57No, I get it.

37:57That's part of it.

37:58If you're afraid that you don't want to do that dance and he's going to get hurt again,

38:02that would be a monster problem.

38:05And you don't want to, if you don't want to be in that situation.

38:08If the production of Bowers becomes someone that's like, okay, he's good, but he's scoring,

38:13you know, nine and a half, 10 points a game rest of seasons.

38:18That's, that's, that's good for a tight end.

38:20That's fine.

38:21But that's not what you drafted Brock Bowers to be hoping that you were getting 15 points

38:25a game.

38:25You're not going to get a goose from him.

38:27That's for sure.

38:27That is for sure.

38:28That's not going to happen.

38:29We'll take a break.

38:30We'll answer some more questions.

38:35What's up foot clan.

Pace of play

40:11Warren Elder in Ontario writing in.

40:13You guys have been talking about Kellen Moore's offensive system and how it results in more snaps.

40:21What are some other teams that have a similar pace of play?

40:24And alternatively, what are some teams that are prone to match a slower pace of play?

40:30We do put a pace of play article up on the website every Wednesday afternoon, and it is Wednesday.

40:35So that'll be going up there.

40:36But the top five pace of play teams from week one, and then Jason, you can share the bottom

40:41five.

40:42Saints were number one.

40:43Insane 86 plays in that game.

40:45The next closest team, by the way, 67 plays.

40:49Green Bay.

40:50Kansas City with 67 plays.

40:53The Steelers with 64 plays.

40:55That's interesting.

40:56And then the Panthers with 62.

40:57Yeah.

40:59Shockingly, the Ravens were in the bottom five in the neutral pace of play.

41:05They were just so doggone efficient.

41:07The Broncos were down there.

41:10Yeah, that felt like it.

41:1129th.

41:12The Jets were very low, which was, I think, surprising.

41:15I expected them to be a little bit faster this season, but that's worrisome.

41:21The Dolphins, as expected, were very slow.

41:24And then the Vikings were the slowest.

41:27The slowest.

41:28They were the worst.

41:28But I will say that they had an, you know, when you have a quarterback that two weeks

41:34ago was your third string hopping in, not just even like, you know, pregame, the way

41:39that happened with, you know, the Cooper Rush had all the week one snaps in preparation.

41:46You're going to end up with a slower pace of play.

41:48So I don't view the Vikings as necessarily like a, oh my gosh, they're bottom five type

41:53of team.

41:54Miami compounding how bad the offense was in terms of expected points added, you know,

42:01their EPA for everything and they're slow is concerning.

42:07The fact that the two of the bottom three were in the same matchup, that's a fun one.

Trade Jadarian Price/George Pickens for CMC/Kaelon Black?

42:15All right.

42:16The next question comes in off of YouTube.

42:17Would you trade Darian Price and George Pickens?

42:21Whoa.

42:21What?

42:22For CMC and Kalen Black.

42:25I know.

42:26I know my answer.

42:27I know my answer too.

42:28Oh.

42:29And it's.

42:30No.

42:31My answer is in almost every situation.

42:33Yes.

42:34Mine is basically the same.

42:35I am a yes.

42:36In a vacuum, I'm a yes.

42:37Zero wide receivers.

42:38But Pickens, obviously, I'm not going to do that.

42:40I can't imagine they'd be asking the question.

42:43I mean, I'm doing this.

42:44Yeah.

42:44I want CMC.

42:45I do too.

42:46I think we saw, what we saw from Darian Price was worrisome.

42:51We talked about it.

42:52It could be, hey, rookie's first week.

42:54Sure.

42:54He's going to get more and more and more involved.

42:57But also, Charbonnet is going to come back in a couple weeks.

42:59And this definitely seemed like a team that, you know, was it Clint Kubiak?

43:04Or was it the Seahawks that were so adamant in the timeshare?

43:07Well, Clint Kubiak left.

43:10And Gentry, there was all this worry about, oh, Mike Washington's going to hit me.

43:13Gentry got a monstrous workload.

43:16Yeah, yeah, yeah.

43:16And then the Seahawks were a 50-50 split just like last year.

43:19So I think it's a Seahawks problem.

43:23And we can know for sure that Ken Walker was a very good enough to be a workhorse running back.

43:31And they still didn't.

43:33So to me, Darian Price.

43:34That situation is going to forever be in my brain as a conundrum of right and wrong.

43:40Sure, they won a Super Bowl.

43:41Because the plot, the bigger picture was perfectly executed.

43:47And you don't know what you don't know.

43:49You don't know if Ken Walker can handle the workload this level in Kansas City.

43:53And you don't know if he would have been as efficient, good, or uninjured as he was last year in Seattle.

43:58Sure.

43:58You also don't know if the Seahawks would have won the championship had Charbonnet been there to take out.

44:06Oh, man.

44:07Like they might have backed themselves into a Super Bowl by having to forcibly use your better player.

44:15That is wild.

44:17I mean, the unknown there, yeah.

44:20Alex writes in on Instagram.

44:22Yeah, Schrodinger's running back.

44:23Generally, how do you value the number one waiver priority in a league without FAP?

Waiver priority strategy

44:27Great question.

44:29To me, it is, if I've got it.

44:30Next question.

44:31If I've got the number one priority, I am absolutely holding on to that until there is that running back.

44:40Well, you had mentioned Kalen Black.

44:42You were willing to burn it for him.

44:44So, if there is a guy, I mean, obviously, Kalen Black in week one showed that he is a must-be-rostered player who is good enough should CMC go down.

44:55And in week one, there wasn't really a lot of options.

44:59From this point forward, if I've got the number one spot, I think I'm going to hold it.

45:04Let the waivers pass through until an injury to a main guy happens.

45:11And, you know, then I get to pick up a star running back going forward.

45:16That's how I would personally use it.

45:17The way I handle it is, if I have number one, or the top priority, I will use it for if I'm going to pick up a player who I need to play right now.

45:28But, like, I'm not padding my bench with depth by burning my number one priority.

45:35But there's times where it stinks to let it go.

45:39You needed Debo this week, which is why you paid up 17 for me.

45:42If you had the number one waiver priority in a waiver priority league, would you have used it on Debo and gone to the back of the line?

45:49I would have had to, yeah.

45:51See, I probably would have held on to it and then let the waivers run.

45:54Because you still get to pick up a player after it runs.

45:57Obviously, you're not going to get your Debo.

45:58But that's tough.

46:01Where do you stand on that?

46:02Like, that specific example, Andy?

46:03Well, like, I wouldn't have got Debo.

46:05Wouldn't have got Matt Collins.

46:06Would not have got Caleb Douglas.

46:08Like, this week where, like, the wide receivers shook out.

46:15I don't know.

46:15I felt like Debo was the most playable guy immediately.

46:18And with dribbling out.

46:20Who knows?

46:21Yeah, I think he's going to be involved for a while.

46:24It doesn't feel amazing to spend on Debo.

46:27No, especially because the last time we saw Debo on the 49ers, he was not good.

46:32So the perfect example then to play that one out, you would have lost Debo and all those other guys.

46:39Right.

46:39So right now, like, just looking at our league, you would have probably picked up Khalil Shakir.

46:43Right.

46:43And be starting him instead of Debo, but you would have retained the number one.

46:46So it's like a trade.

46:47Yes.

46:47Would you trade the number one priority and Khalil Shakir?

46:53I think it's really hard to sit there and just wait for an injury.

47:01Yeah.

47:01Because you just, I think you will grow.

47:04So, like, it can get frustrating and it can be a pretty big impact.

47:08Like, sure, the biggest waiver wire running back impact could win you a handful of weeks starting in week seven, eight, nine, something like that.

47:16But then what happens in those early weeks when you have needs and depth and, you know, other people are not going to be patient either.

47:22So there is a bit of a, like, know your league aspect of, well, okay, maybe I burn it, but these guys are all going to burn theirs.

47:28Like, I don't know.

47:29It's just a tough call.

47:31It's very valuable, but you can't be beholden to just like, I'm going to hold this.

47:37Because it's like, maybe I can't think of it, but last year was there a week where it was like, oh, man.

47:43The last two years, I will say this.

47:45Because the running back stayed healthy last year.

47:48We brought this up.

47:48Running back health has been abnormally high.

47:52I mean, outrageously high for the last two years compared to pretty much every year for the previous decade.

47:59They got some new cleats or something?

48:00I don't know.

48:01It's the peptides, man.

48:03I mean, look.

48:03Give them to the wide receivers.

48:05The other thing you can do in a league with a waiver priority you want to preserve is make sure that, I think in those leagues compared to fab leagues,

48:11I think you even more need to have your insurance backs so that you don't put yourself in the position where you've got to hold that

48:17to get those guys, maybe that puts you in a better spot.

48:22I don't know.

48:23It's a tough call.

48:24And I just hate the idea of holding it and holding it and holding it, and then nothing materializes,

Devonta Smith or Parker Washington rest of season?

48:31and I'm not picking up guys I need to pick up.

48:35Chance writing in on Instagram.

48:36Parker Washington or Devontae Smith rest of season?

48:38Oh, Chance, you dog.

48:45That's brutal, man.

48:46That is.

48:47I don't want to be.

48:48Well, let's rely on the rest of season rankings here.

48:51Week one.

48:53Yeah.

48:54That's amazing.

48:55I don't want my love for Parker Washington to distort this answer.

48:59I want us to all write it down.

49:01Yeah.

49:01I've got the answer.

49:04I know where I'm at.

49:05I'm going to let sanity prevail here.

49:09I've got Devontae Smith four spots higher than Parker Washington.

49:13I'm going Devontae.

49:14I'm going Devontae Smith as well.

49:15I have Parker two spots higher right now.

49:17Okay.

49:18There you go.

49:19It's a fair question.

49:21That's why it's so funny.

49:22I still think Devontae is just the, I think he's more assured, but we'll see.

49:27They're both great.

49:29And they'll both, it'll even out.

Bailing on a stack

49:31All right.

49:32YouTube question from Sonic Spartan.

49:33How many weeks until you bail on a stack?

49:36I have asking as a Bo Nix Jalen Waddle manager.

49:41Ouch.

49:41Ouch.

49:42Indeed.

49:43I would.

49:43So here's, here's the.

49:45Ouch indeed.

49:46Indubitably.

49:46Here's the real problem.

49:48And this is why Andy before the show was talking about how he wanted to make Bo Nix a my guy,

49:53which makes sense.

49:54This is a player who was the quarterback seven, then the quarterback six and was drafted as quarterback 15.

49:58Yeah.

49:59Yeah.

49:59That just jumps out as like, hey, maybe I'm a my guy.

50:01Maybe I'm a perfect target.

50:02But the opening schedule was why you didn't.

50:05I want to tell this person, well, don't bail.

50:09The Chiefs have a great defense.

50:11I would have expected a bad game for Bo Nix and a bad game for Jalen Waddle in week one.

50:16Like those aren't.

50:17But then it's like, OK, well, what do you expect for the next five weeks there?

50:21I don't have it pulled up right in front of me.

50:23But it's Jacksonville is next.

50:24OK, that's that's fine.

50:25That's totally fine.

50:26Then it's Rams.

50:28It is at home.

50:29But you won't have Miles Garrett, who's on IR now.

50:32Right.

50:33They're still very good.

50:34They're still very good.

50:34OK, but that's that's OK.

50:37And then at San Francisco.

50:39I think that's the weirdest thing is schedule has not always mattered for them.

50:44Yeah.

50:45They've got a fart against the Raiders.

50:48The Raiders on Thursday night football.

50:49I I will say this.

50:51I would like to see it.

50:53I would like to see the good form soon.

50:56So here's what you do.

50:57You can't just be like, it's going to be bad six weeks.

50:58You've got to have good form somewhere in there.

51:00Here's what you do.

51:01You you can bail on the stack, not by like dropping Bo Nix, but by starting another quarterback.

51:06Sure.

51:07And hoping that Waddle just gets more involved.

51:10I think that that that is a reasonable expectation on the stack now.

51:17What do you mean by that?

51:18I just mean, I just mean letting go of Bo Nix and I don't think you have to keep just drop

51:21him to the way.

51:22You have to keep on your roster.

51:23If you want to do that, you can.

51:24But I don't think that that stack in particular is that crucial for you.

51:29If Brock Purdy's out there, pick him up and drop Nix and just play Brock Purdy and Waddle.

51:34Yeah, I agree.

51:34And then minimize your exposure to a bad, a bad schedule for Denver and maybe a bad play

51:41caller.

51:41Who knows?

51:42I, I, that's another variable here where like, is Davis Webb a part of the problem?

51:46Is Bo Nix going to be the problem?

51:49Uninspiring start and really discouraging targets for Waddle.

51:53Yeah.

51:53I, I think that what we saw doing waiver work for week one was that this year there's a

51:59lot more multi drafted quarterback leagues.

52:03Um, like for instance, Brock Purdy, I think was drafted in 82% of leagues, something like

52:09that.

52:09Um, the name that I think is probably out there at quarterback that if you're wanting to pick

52:15someone up and hope that a going forward, mostly available and, um, could be really good

52:22as Tyler shock.

52:23I was, I did not drop him.

52:24I was very, I didn't have him in any waiver bids.

52:26I was like, you know what?

52:27I want to, I want to see what this looks like.

Mike sucks

52:30Uh, one more question from Instagram, Skylar writing in quote, Mike sucks.

52:36Oh, what?

52:37Told me to start Kyler over Mahomes.

52:39Oh, Michael.

52:41Can you give him the booze, Jason?

52:42I don't have that power.

52:44For sure.

52:44No, that's on me guys.

52:46Dude.

52:46Listen.

52:47That's on me.

52:48How did you see that not coming?

52:51I mean.

52:52That's on me.

52:53That's ridiculous.

52:54You, you, you told him to start someone that was going to get injured.

52:57Yeah.

52:58I, I'm going to put it into my process.

53:02Okay.

53:02Nice.

53:03Way to learn from your mistakes.

53:04When I know a severe, an injury that will knock you out of the game.

53:09If I know it's coming, I'll put it in.

53:11I'll put it in.

53:12If it's, if it's early.

53:14I'll weigh it as a very, we'll do a new segment guy getting knocked out this week

53:18and we'll just call the shot, which, um, Hey, that's coming week too.

53:23It's terrible.

53:23It's the worst segment, but Jason's done.

53:25Week two, quarter two.

53:26Oh, you.

53:27That's we're in it.

53:28We're in it.

53:29I still can't believe you're sticking with that.

53:31I just called.

53:32It's wrong.

53:33This is your fault.

53:34It's I just called.

53:35How is it my fault that you'd say something so egregious?

53:38You put Ramondre up, uh, behind me.

53:40Oh, at the live show.

53:41Yeah.

53:42Uh, I just saw the future.

53:44Wait, one more.

53:44Edward wants to know, have we ever thought about switching seats on the set?

53:48Uh, I certainly have not.

53:50I'm not a profile guy.

53:51I'm pretty interested in Jason's seat.

53:54We've done it one time for a reason.

53:56Oh yeah.

53:57Oh yeah.

53:57Oh yeah.

53:58Hillbilly.

54:00Mike and Andy flip flopped for toothpaste.

54:02The prospector showed up.

54:03Uh, I, I, I had lost the tooth on one side and it was weird.

54:11It was very weird.

54:13But, uh, Jason has, uh, long since said he does not want to be in the profile.

54:18Correct.

54:18Let me, let me, like, do you change seats like in a car?

54:23In your family?

54:25You ever change the side of bed you sleep on with your-

54:27No.

54:28I actually have one.

54:29You have you?

54:29I wondered.

54:30It was, uh, cause I was closer to the bathroom and then the wife was pregnant and I was like,

54:36okay, she should probably be closer to the bathroom.

54:38That's nice.

54:38Uh, who, who would defend in a, an intrusion though?

54:41Who's closer to the door right now?

54:43It is now still the wife.

54:44Okay.

54:44Jason, who's closer to the door in your situation?

54:48Back door or?

54:50No, your, your bedroom door.

54:51The main entry.

54:52Uh, because they say-

54:53My wife is.

54:54Only you is like, which of my seven doors to my room?

54:56You freaking-

54:57Well, I'm like right by the back door.

54:59And someone comes in the front door and comes in to attack you.

55:01Yeah.

55:01It would be the wife.

55:03That's my house too.

55:03And I'm right there ready to escape the back door.
