0:00terminology that is associated with
0:02blood and its processes is here we have
0:06hemostasis
0:07stasis means stopping or controlling
0:10hemo blood so this would be stopping or
0:13controlling the flow of blood
0:16coagulation coagulation is in reference
0:19to the clotting process so of course
0:21coagulation goes hand in hand with what
0:24platelets do thrombus thrombus and
0:27embolus often confused a thrombus is a
0:31stationary clot this is a clot that is
0:34in place that doesn't have the risk of
0:37moving uh thrombus that aren't causing
0:40any type of havoc in one's health and it
0:44might be riskier to go in and remove it
0:46than not sometimes they'll just leave
0:47them there because they are stationary
0:50whereas an embolus an embolus is a
0:53traveling plot so this clot has the
0:55ability to move and cause harm wherever
0:58it goes
0:59so hemostasis coagulation rhombus and
1:03embolus
