0:00If you're starting Aion 2, and you're

0:02wondering how the hell are you supposed

0:04to make Kinah, you came to the right

0:06video. Because I'm going to explain

0:08everything you need to know about Kinah.

0:10Before we get into farming, you need to

0:12understand one thing. Bound and unbound

0:15Kinah are not the same. Bound Kinah is

0:18tied to your character. You can use it

0:20for your own progression and expenses,

0:22but you can't treat it like normal

0:24tradeable currency. Unbound Kinah is the

0:27one you really care about when you're

0:28trying to make money. This is the

0:30currency you can use around the player

0:32economy and the market. And because it

0:34isn't locked to the character that

0:36earned it, you have a lot more freedom

0:38with it. And this becomes especially

0:40important when you're using alts. If an

0:43alt earns unbound Kinah, you can move

0:45that money over and use it on your main.

0:47So, whenever you're looking at the

0:49rewards, don't just look at the number.

0:51Check whether it's bound or unbound.

0:53Because two activities can both say 3

0:56million Kinah, and one can be much more

0:58useful than the other.

0:59For global I'd put expeditions and

1:02transcendents right at the top of the

1:04list for consistent Kinah. Sanctuary

1:06raids can also give a lot of Kinah, but

1:08you can only do them once a week. But

1:10more specifically, conquest expeditions.

1:13You have exploration, which is the

1:15easier version, and then the harder

1:17conquest content, which will have both a

1:19normal mode and a hard mode that will

1:21come later into the global release. Once

1:24your character is strong enough to clear

1:26conquest comfortably, that's where you

1:28want to spend your time. [music]

1:29You're getting Kinah, gear, materials,

1:32and other drops at the same time. So,

1:34even if one particular one doesn't give

1:36you anything crazy, you are still

1:38progressing your character while making

1:39money. On the current version of the

1:41game, some of the higher level conquest

1:44runs can give several million Kinah per

1:46run. Obviously, don't take that number

1:49and expect exactly the same thing on day

1:51one on global. Global isn't launching

1:53with the current Korean end game. So,

1:55some of the dungeons and reward values

1:57are going to be different. What matters

2:00is the system. Getting to expeditions,

2:02moving to conquest when you can, and

2:04prioritize the ones that give you the

2:06best overall reward for your time. And

2:08keep an eye on your Odium energy. If

2:11it's sitting at the cap, you're wasting

2:13regeneration. If you're trying to make

2:15money, you want that energy going into

2:17content that's actually giving you

2:18something useful. Now, here is the part

2:20that makes this even better on global.

2:22Alts.

2:24Because global is using unbound kinah

2:26for conquest rewards.

2:28You don't have to rely entirely on your

2:30main character.

2:31Once you have an alt that's strong

2:33enough to clear the available conquest

2:35content efficiently, you can run the

2:37same content there, collect the unbound

2:39kinah, and then move that money back to

2:41your main. And global is making the

2:43early progression of additional

2:45characters much easier compared to what

2:47we had on the older versions. So, you

2:49don't necessarily have to spend forever

2:52getting an alt before it becomes useful.

2:54There are obviously limits on how much

2:56expedition content and rewards you can

2:58get, so this isn't an infinite kinah

3:00printer. But if you are looking for

3:02reliable income, this is one of the

3:04first things I'd build my routine

3:05around.

3:06Now, if expeditions are your consistent

3:09income, bosses are the jackpot. I'm

3:11talking about open world bosses, abyss

3:14bosses, basically anything where you can

3:16get valuable tradeable loot. And the way

3:18you decide whether a boss is actually

3:20worth killing is pretty simple. Look at

3:22the drop table. Aion 2 gives you a

3:25proper list of what bosses can drop, so

3:27you don't have to blindly run around the

3:29map hoping something good comes out.

3:32You're looking for things players

3:33actually want. Rare artwork is a great

3:36example. You might have one boss

3:38dropping a blue artwork that's suddenly

3:40worth a decent amount. Then another boss

3:42drops a golden artwork with useful

3:44stats, and suddenly that one item is

3:47worth tens or even hundreds of millions

3:48of kinah.

3:50On the current server, I can show you

3:51artworks selling for more than 10

3:53million Kinah. And earlier in season 1,

3:55some of these were going for well over

3:57100 million. That's why boss farming can

4:00be so ridiculous. You're not farming the

4:02boss because he gives you a massive

4:04amount of Kinah directly. You're farming

4:06him because one good drop can pay for

4:08hours of normal farming. You also get

4:11valuable gear, maps, material, and other

4:13items that can be sold. But there's one

4:15massive downside, [music] RNG. You can

4:18kill 10 bosses and get absolute garbage.

4:21Then the next boss drops something worth

4:23100 million. That's why I wouldn't call

4:25boss farming the most reliable method.

4:27It's the high risk, high reward one. And

4:30you also need to be strong enough to

4:31actually participate in these kills. A

4:34lot of these bosses are going to require

4:36a proper group. And depending on the

4:38boss, you need enough contribution to

4:40qualify for the rewards. So if you're a

4:43fresh level 45 wearing whatever gear

4:45that game gives you, maybe don't start

4:47with the world boss. Get stronger, find

4:50a group, and learn which bosses are

4:51worth killing. If you don't have a group

4:54for bosses, or you just want something

4:56you can farm by yourself, head into the

4:58Abyss and start killing mobs. The nice

5:00thing here is that you get several

5:02sources of value at the same time. You

5:04get the the direct Kinah from killing

5:06mobs, then you get the loot that can

5:08include gear, mana stones, soul stones,

5:10refining materials, crafting resources,

5:13and other items you can sell. So don't

5:15judge the farm just by looking at the

5:17tiny amount of Kinah that pops up after

5:19every kill. A lot of your profit is

5:21sitting inside the loot you're picking

5:23up. I think Abyss farming is going to be

5:25particularly interesting during the

5:27first weeks and months because the

5:29economy is going to be fresh. On older

5:31servers, some basic materials have

5:33become almost worthless because there

5:35has been months of farming, huge amounts

5:38of supply, and obviously bots. On

5:40global, you're going to have thousands

5:42of players trying to upgrade their gear

5:44and craft things at the same time. So

5:46materials like refining stones, leather,

5:48spirit stones, and other basic resources

5:51can become surprisingly expensive. And

5:53now we're getting into the part that can

5:55make you rich without actually farming

5:57more, the market. One of the easiest

5:59ways to lose kinah is getting an item

6:02and immediately selling it to an NPC

6:04because you don't recognize it. Before

6:06you sell something, especially if it's

6:08tradeable, check the market. Look at the

6:11things like crafting materials, spaner

6:13stones, soul stones, refining materials,

6:15rare equipment, artwork, dungeon drops.

6:17If you don't know whether something is

6:19valuable, spend 5 seconds checking. But

6:22I don't only look at the current price.

6:23Look at why the item has that price. Is

6:26it rare? Is there barely any supply? Is

6:29it needed for crafting? Is it used for

6:31upgrading? Because that's how you find

6:33opportunities. For example, you have

6:35these supply requests where you need to

6:37deliver two specific gear items to get

6:39rewards. And the these supply requests

6:41change weekly. So, a random blue gear

6:44piece is worthless today, but next week

6:46it can explode in price because it is

6:49needed for a supply request. Obviously,

6:51you don't need to keep every random

6:53piece of garbage you pick up, but if

6:55something is rare, tradeable, useful

6:58progression, and the supply is low, you

7:00need to keep an eye on it. And honestly,

7:02if you learn the market early on global,

7:04you can make a ridiculous amount of

7:06money without increasing your actual

7:08farming time. Crafting is another big

7:10one, but this is where you need to stop

7:12guessing and start doing some basic

7:13math. The rule is simple. Know how much

7:16it costs before you craft it. If the

7:18materials cost 300 million and the

7:20finished item sells for 280 million, you

7:23obviously don't craft it. The

7:25interesting part is that you might

7:26already have some of those materials,

7:28[music] especially bound materials that

7:30you can't sell anyway. If you already

7:32have 30, 40, or 50 of these materials

7:34sitting in your storage, the actual

7:36amount of kinah you're spending can be

7:38much lower than the total market value

7:41of crafting everything from scratch.

7:43That's why a crafting calculator can be

7:45extremely useful. You can check the

7:47current material prices, calculate the

7:49total cost, compare that to the selling

7:52price, and see if there's actually a

7:54profit. Manually checking every material

7:56every time you want to craft something

7:58is a pain in the ass. If the numbers

8:00work, crafting can be extremely

8:02profitable. And again, Global could be a

8:04really good environment for it because

8:06players are going to be desperate for

8:08gear and progression items. Gathering is

8:11probably the simplest method on the

8:12list. You find resources, you collect

8:14it, you sell it. But whether it's

8:16actually worth your time depends almost

8:19entirely on the market. At the launch,

8:21everybody needs materials. People are

8:23crafting, people are upgrading, people

8:25are leveling professions, and then

8:27nobody has months of resources

8:29stockpiled yet. So, if you find a

8:30resource that's in high demand and there

8:32isn't much supply, gathering it can

8:35actually be very profitable. If

8:37something sells for 500 kinah and takes

8:39forever to collect, you can forget about

8:41it. If something sells for 20,000 and

8:43you can collect hundreds of them

8:44quickly, now you've got a farm. And

8:46don't forget that some materials can be

8:48farmed while doing other activities. For

8:50example, you can get certain resources

8:52simply by killing mobs. So, you don't

8:54always need to sit there staring at the

8:56gathering node for hours. Now, let's get

8:59into a couple of smaller things that are

9:01easy to overlook. First, hidden cubes.

9:04To open them, you need keys. You can get

9:07those through things like duty quests

9:08and command quests, and then use the

9:10keys on hidden cubes scattered around

9:12the world. The rewards are random, but

9:14you can get some useful stuff: mana

9:16stones, soul stones, crafting materials,

9:18stigma shards, resurrection items,

9:20souls, and kinah-related rewards. Some

9:23of the better soul stones and mana

9:24stones can be worth a decent amount on

9:26the market. You can also get lucky kinah

9:29chests. Obviously, RNG is involved, so

9:32don't expect every cube to pay your

9:34rent. But if you're already getting the

9:35keys, there's no reason to leave those

9:37rewards sitting there. Then we have

9:39Shugo event. Whenever an event is

9:41active, check the reward pool,

9:43especially during global launch. Events

9:45can give you valuable materials, radiant

9:47or dial, high-grade refining stones, and

9:50other progression items that can be

9:52worth a lot when the server is young.

9:54Some of these rewards are going to be

9:56much more valuable during the first

9:57weeks than they will be later. And

9:59finally, don't forget the boring stuff.

10:01Daily missions, weekly missions, daily

10:03dungeons, weekly rewards, limited

10:05activities, basically anything that

10:07resets and gives you guaranteed value.

10:09These aren't necessarily going to be

10:11your biggest kinah farms, but they're

10:13easy money that you can add it to your

10:14normal routine. If something takes 5

10:17minutes and gives you kinah, materials,

10:19or tradeable reward, it's worth doing,

10:21especially as a beginner. You don't need

10:24some perfect farming setup. Log in,

10:26[music] clear the useful daily and

10:27weekly content, spend your available

10:29energy, run your expeditions, and then

10:32decide what you want to farm afterward.

10:34And pay attention to weekly limits. Aion

10:362 has quite a bit of systems where

10:37rewards are limited by weekly caps. And

10:40that's pretty much everything I'd focus

10:42on. Obviously, this is just general

10:44information from what is available

10:45currently in Korea and Taiwan, and we

10:47will know more about specific farming

10:49techniques when we get to play the

10:51global version. So, get your expeditions

10:53running, learn the market thoroughly,

10:54pay attention to what actually sells,

10:56and don't underestimate the value of

10:58having a couple of useful alts later on.

11:01And that's it. If this was helpful,

11:03consider subscribing and leaving a like.
