0:00There's a reason why nobody in the
0:01YouTube content creator space will
0:03actually tell you how they became
0:04successful because if they told you
0:06their real strategy, they'd worry about
0:08the competition since now everyone can
0:10be successful. But that cannot be me, so
0:12I'm going to expose how I did it. Three
0:14years ago, I was a girl fresh out of
0:16college who just wanted to be a
0:17YouTuber. I spent my whole childhood
0:19watching my favorite creators, but I
0:21never felt like I could do the same.
0:22When I started, I had 51 subscribers.
0:25Today, I have over 400,000. My videos
0:27have been watched more than 30 million
0:29times over a million hours. That is more
0:32than a century of watch time. I was able
0:34to leave my 9-5. YouTube paid for my
0:36dream apartment, and I actually have the
0:38life I used to dream about. This is not
0:40me trying to flex, but I'm telling you
0:42this so you can see what's actually
0:43possible for a girl who started with
0:45nothing. In this video, I'm going to
0:46walk you through the four things that
0:48took me from zero subs to almost half a
0:50million in three years, but I guarantee
0:52you'll be able to do it in less. And no,
0:54I did not blow up overnight. It took me
0:56three years of posting every single
0:58week, and I never missed one even if I
1:00was sick, traveling, or going through
1:02personal stuff. I didn't have the most
1:03aesthetic lifestyle already. I was
1:05living with my parents, bought a cheap
1:07camera, and filmed videos in my bedroom.
1:09Back then, I edited everything myself
1:11and posted videos that got like 200
1:12views over and over and over. The people
1:14who grow successful YouTube channels
1:16don't have better equipment than you or
1:17natural talent. They have these four
1:19things in my exact strategy. The number
1:22one thing that took me from a complete
1:23beginner to 400K subs is treating
1:26YouTube like a search engine. This is
1:28not about trying to hack the algorithm.
1:30This is a perspective shift you need to
1:31have if you want to grow on YouTube.
1:33YouTube is not like TikTok or Instagram.
1:35On those platforms, videos are fed to
1:38you through a feed. You're not choosing
1:39what videos to watch, they're choosing
1:41you. YouTube is the opposite. You cannot
1:43watch a video until you actually click
1:45on it. And that difference is the
1:47limiting factor for beginners. Girl to
1:49girl, I need you to understand that
1:50people don't know who you are yet. They
1:52don't care about you. So you have to
1:54make them care first. And that all
1:56starts with seeing YouTube as a search
1:58engine. People are going on YouTube and
2:00looking up specific words, phrases,
2:03questions to their problems. So, your
2:05job is to make videos that answer their
2:07questions. Even lifestyle creators or
2:09vloggers still provide value to people.
2:12AKA, they answer some kind of problem
2:14for the viewer. So, before you even pick
2:16up a camera, you need to know what your
2:18audience is already typing into the
2:19search bar or the words they're looking
2:21for. And you need to make every video
2:23like it's the only one that's going to
2:24answer the question. Now, how you do
2:26that is through your title and
2:27thumbnail. I touched on this a bit in a
2:29previous video, but I didn't actually go
2:31in depth with it. But like I said, I'm
2:33not gatekeeping all of my secrets, so
2:34here you go. The most important factor
2:36for titles and thumbnails is emotion.
2:39When a viewer reads your title or sees
2:41your thumbnail, it should elicit some
2:43kind of emotion in them. For example,
2:45aspiration, joy, fear, etc. That one
2:48switch from what video do you I want to
2:50make to what is my viewer already
2:52looking for is the difference between
2:54getting 200 views and going viral. This
2:56is not about luck, it's about
2:58understanding your platform and creating
3:00strategically. That being said, SEO
3:02doesn't guarantee that people actually
3:04want to watch, which brings me to number
3:05two. The second thing I need you to
3:07master is knowing exactly who you're
3:09talking to. This is the secret no other
3:12influencer talks about. They tell you to
3:13just study the algorithm or use trending
3:16sounds, but none of that is actually
3:17important. People don't subscribe
3:19because your video was just valuable,
3:21they subscribe because of how it made
3:23them feel. They subscribe because of
3:24you. But the only way to make videos
3:26that resonate so perfectly with your
3:28audience is to know your ideal viewer.
3:30Who is the one person you're making the
3:33video for? It cannot just be a vague
3:35group of people. You have to pick one
3:37person you create in your mind. You know
3:39her down to a T. What she's scared of,
3:42what she wants out of life, the secret
3:43she's never told anyone. When I film
3:46every video, I imagine I'm talking to
3:48her. And because I know her, I already
3:50know the words she wants to hear. Don't
3:52use language your ideal viewer doesn't
3:54understand. You need to pretend you're
3:55having a conversation with them. What
3:57are the words or phrases that they would
3:59use? How would their thoughts sound? You
4:01also need to know her objections before
4:03she can say them. For example, if she
4:05says, "Nobody wants to be my friend." I
4:07would say, "I know what it's like to
4:09walk behind the group because the
4:10sidewalk isn't wide enough." Or if she
4:12says, "I'm scared everyone will judge
4:14me." I would say, "I cringe at my old
4:16videos, but I still post them anyway
4:18because it's my dream, not theirs." So,
4:20that's the combination. A video that
4:22gets found by strangers, number one, but
4:24feels like it was made for that specific
4:26person behind the screen, number two.
4:28That is what transforms a random viewer
4:30into someone who subscribes and never
4:32leaves. But, knowing who you're talking
4:34to isn't enough if you just sit down,
4:36hit record, and just ramble, which
4:38brings me to number three. Script it,
4:40don't wing it. When I started on
4:42YouTube, I would just turn the camera on
4:43and talk. Like, whatever came out of my
4:45mouth was in the final video. And the
4:47results showed. Rambling might be fine
4:49in real-life conversations, but it's a
4:51hard watch online. When you have no
4:53direction, no roadmap for the video, you
4:56lose the plot and your viewers.
4:58Something really important to know is
5:00YouTube keeps track of your watch time.
5:01So, if it's low, it will stop pushing
5:03your video out to new people, which
5:05hurts your growth. So, you need to make
5:07sure that whatever your title says, you
5:09deliver in the actual video. If you
5:11don't, we call that click bait. A big
5:13misconception beginners have is they
5:14treat YouTube videos like movies. Don't
5:17get me wrong, I used to do that, too. I
5:18would start every video "Hey guys,
5:20welcome back to the channel." I mean,
5:22can you blame me though? I grew up
5:23watching 2014 to 2019 YouTube, like
5:26everyone was doing it. But girls,
5:28please, please cut that out and get
5:30right to the point. Because of TikTok
5:32and Instagram, everyone's attention span
5:33is super short, even on YouTube. Don't
5:36let people walk away before you get to
5:37the good part of the video. And the best
5:39way to do this is by scripting. You need
5:41to plan out what you're going to say. It
5:43doesn't need to be full sentences, but
5:45at least an outline or bullet points
5:47that include the hook. The hook is the
5:49first 5 seconds that prove to the viewer
5:51they're going to get what they're
5:52looking for. Once people are hooked in,
5:54they're much more likely to stay to see
5:56what you're going to say next. Scripting
5:58also helps you avoid saying filler words
6:00like um or like, which are unpleasant to
6:02hear and makes you seem unconfident. But
6:04to be honest, if I could go back in time
6:07and tell 21-year-old Allison what she
6:09needed the most, it would be that she
6:11needs a sister hud. For the majority of
6:13the 3 years I've been doing this, I felt
6:15very isolated. I didn't have friends who
6:17were content creators and I didn't know
6:19anyone personally who was already doing
6:21what I wanted to do. I could only watch
6:23my favorite influencers live their dream
6:25life, but if I ever tried reaching out
6:27to them, they would probably never see
6:28my message. So, I just didn't try and
6:31accepted that I had to go through this
6:32journey alone. I also looked for
6:34coaching and mentorship, but every
6:36single time the face was an older guy.
6:38And I just thought, why can't I find
6:40someone who looks like me or relates to
6:42me? This is no shade to men, but I just
6:44wanted to learn from someone who
6:46understood me, especially when it came
6:48to style, because let's be real, guys
6:50will never get the girly aesthetic. Like
6:52I wanted to make my videos cute, not
6:53super masculine, and I could never find
6:55anyone to teach me that. To keep your
6:57fire burning on your YouTube journey,
6:59you cannot rely on just yourself. You
7:01need a roomful of women who are going to
7:03encourage you, see your videos, and hype
7:05you up. You need to learn from someone
7:07who has already walked your journey
7:08before and can help you get there. That
7:10was the only thing I ever wanted when I
7:12started. So, I decided to become the
7:15person I never had. I'm your online big
7:17sister who started with 51 subscribers
7:19and a day job, and I turned my dreams
7:21into reality, and I want to help you do
7:23the same. This is what my entire
7:25strategy looks like mapped out. I broke
7:27the whole YouTube growth journey into
7:29four phases. Phase one is laying the
7:31foundation. The goal is to post your
7:33first video in 7 days, even if you've
7:35never filmed anything in your entire
7:37life. It is not about getting views, it
7:39is about building a real intentional
7:40channel, creating your niche ideal
7:42viewer, and your first batch of real
7:44videos. This phase is also where you
7:46finally get over the fear of starting
7:48and build on-camera confidence. Phase
7:50two is making videos people actually
7:52watch. Here is where you refine your
7:54craft, creating titles and thumbnails
7:56that actually get clicks, structuring
7:58your videos correctly so people don't
8:00scroll away, and learning all the
8:01YouTube metrics so you can maximize your
8:03reach. Phase three is growing through
8:05the plateau. I struggled with this so
8:07much a couple years ago, and it's why
8:0999% of girls quit YouTube. This is the
8:12point where it's so discouraging and it
8:14feels like nothing you're doing is
8:15working. But the 1% who break through
8:18don't just wait it out, they get 1%
8:20better with every video. That's what
8:22turns into your first a thousand
8:23subscribers and then your first 10,000.
8:26This is also where we dive deep into
8:27analytics to break through the
8:29complacency. Phase four is monetize.
8:31This is the path I actually used to
8:33start making real money with YouTube.
8:35This is where we talk media kits, brand
8:37deals, getting signed with an agency,
8:39contracts, and other income streams. It
8:41wouldn't be your dream career if you
8:42weren't getting paid, right? And girl,
8:44the earning potential is high. Even
8:46though I told you what my ungatekept
8:48secrets are, that's just the what part
8:50of it. The harder part is doing it the
8:52right way and knowing when you're doing
8:54something wrong. That's the part I can't
8:56give you just in this video. So that's
8:58why I made YouTube for the girls. For so
9:00long, I just wanted to know people who
9:03were doing the same thing as me, but I
9:05never found that community, so I created
9:07my own. YouTube for the girls is
9:09literally just for the girls, where I
9:10show you how to start, grow, and
9:12monetize your YouTube channel. It has 20
9:15times more information on this exact
9:17strategy that took me from zero to
9:19almost half a million subscribers.
9:20Inside, I included the full curriculum,
9:23eight entire modules with my
9:24step-by-step road map for both complete
9:26beginners and girls who've already
9:28gotten started. We have live group
9:29coaching and Q&A with me, where you get
9:31to personally ask me your questions
9:33about YouTube or literally anything
9:34you're struggling with. There's a
9:36template vault, which has all of my
9:37templates and guides, like a
9:39fill-in-the-blank business plan, your
9:40ideal viewer profile, my personal
9:43content calendar, and more. Of course,
9:45we have the sisterhood, our inclusive
9:46community of other girls at your exact
9:49stage who can help and encourage you.
9:50Don't be like me who isolated themselves
9:52for 2 years. This is your chance to
9:54connect with like-minded people. We have
9:56my monetization playbook, which is
9:57everything you need to know about brand
9:59deals, agencies, and how to monetize
10:01through YouTube. I also threw in a few
10:03bonuses like my media kit template and
10:05my exact equipment recommendations,
10:07which is everything I use from my camera
10:09to lighting to softwares. Now, unlike
10:11other YouTube communities in the space,
10:13I'm not asking you to cough up $6,000. I
10:15think that is ridiculously absurd and
10:17overpriced. When I started, I was
10:18working a 9-5, living with my parents,
10:20and making $0 from YouTube. So, I wanted
10:22to make this affordable for you because
10:24everyone starts from somewhere and you
10:26deserve to have this. The link to join
10:28is in the description and you don't need
10:30to hop on a sales call with me. There's
10:31no application. The price is right on
10:33the page. Today is the official launch
10:35day and I do have to be honest about
10:37spots. Because I'm actually in the
10:38community with you and doing live calls,
10:40I can only take so many girls at a time.
10:42So, once we hit capacity, I will need to
10:45close enrollment for the time being.
10:46This just ensures that every girl gets
10:48personal attention from me and is able
10:50to connect with other people. If I'm
10:51being really honest though, I built this
10:53selfishly for one person, 21-year-old
10:56me. Me who stayed awake till 5:00 a.m.
10:58editing, googled how to start a YouTube
11:00channel, and didn't know anybody who can
11:02help make my dreams real. If you've been
11:04thinking you want to finally go all in
11:06on YouTube, don't keep waiting for the
11:08perfect time. Cuz like girl, the perfect
11:10time was yesterday. Every day you wait
11:12is another day stuck at the same number.
11:14The unique thing about YouTube is that
11:16it's a compounding platform. Meaning a
11:18video you post today will still be
11:20getting views years from now. So,
11:21starting later doesn't just delay the
11:23start, it delays your snowball effect.
11:25Every month you wait is a month you're
11:27losing on precious growth. Your prime is
11:30right now. If I realized that sooner, I
11:32would have started before college. So,
11:34here we are, girl. You've got two
11:35options. You can leave this video and
11:37tell yourself, "Ah, maybe next time when
11:39I have a better camera, more time, more
11:41confidence." But, spoiler, that time
11:43never comes. Or, you can take one step
11:46today with your phone already in your
11:47hand, my entire YouTube playbook, and a
11:50room full of girls who are cheering you
11:52on and know exactly what you're going
11:53through. If you've said yes to going all
11:55in on YouTube, you can secure your spot
11:57for YouTube for the girls in the
11:58description. I cannot wait to meet all
12:01of you and see how much you grow. All
12:02right, you know what to do. Thanks so
12:04much for watching, and I'll see you
12:05inside.
