0:00[snorts] me.
0:04Huh?
0:07What's
0:09What's this?
0:12What's this squishy right here? It's
0:15like a It's like a little ball.
0:19[sighs]
0:24Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, hey,
0:26hey. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Hold on. Hold on.
0:27I I didn't know. I I didn't know. I'm
0:29sorry. I'm sorry.
0:31Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Okay. Look,
0:33look, look. I know you got a lot of
0:36questions. I know. Just hold on. Okay.
0:38Hold on. Before you start panicking,
0:41let's just let's just think real quick.
0:43Okay. Let's think real quick and
0:45breathe. Okay. Come on.
0:51I know you want to beat the living
0:52daylights out of me, but just come on.
0:54Just breathe. [sighs]
0:58Okay, good. Now you look a bit calmer.
1:02Okay, look. So,
1:05you asked to come over because you
1:06weren't feeling well. That's why you're
1:08here. Do you remember that?
1:12[snorts] Okay. Kind of fuzzy. Okay.
1:14Well, that's fine. Anyway, you were
1:16feeling sick. You definitely remember
1:18that, right?
1:22Okay, good. So, basically, you came over
1:25and I took care of you here.
1:30What do you mean? Why doesn't it make
1:31any sense? It makes perfect sense. You
1:35were sick and you were came and you were
1:37coming here to get taken care of.
1:43You don't feel sick anymore. Duh. Well,
1:46duh, honey. Duh. Okay. I took care of
1:49you. Literally, I took care of you. I
1:52nursed you back to health. Gave you food
1:55and medicine. So, of course, you're
1:58going to feel better.
2:05You're still confused.
2:07[sighs]
2:09Okay. All right. Tell me why you're
2:11still confused. And about what?
2:19You don't know why we're sleeping in the
2:21same bed? Really? You got to be kidding
2:24me. Really? You don't remember that?
2:28No, that that's literally the most
2:30important part. You don't remember that.
2:35Okay. All right. Well, let me catch you
2:36up to speed then. So, I mean, after you
2:39ate, right after I cooked the food that
2:41you ate, you took medicine and then for
2:45some reason you went to my bed to go to
2:46sleep.
2:49Yeah, I know it was comfy, but I mean I
2:51thought you you were going to sleep on
2:52the couch, honestly, cuz I made it for
2:54you already. I made it cozy over there.
2:56But yeah, you went to um my bed and
3:01whenever I was about to leave the room,
3:04you grabbed my hand and said, "Wait,
3:08don't go.
3:10Stay here with me."
3:13And then I was like, "Are you sure? I
3:17thought you hated me. We're exes. We
3:20broke up, remember?
3:25Mhm. Yeah, of course you don't remember
3:27that part. You have selective memory and
3:30selective hearing.
3:32[sighs and gasps]
3:33Anyway, whenever you made that so
3:36earnest of a request, I stayed and then
3:39I got sleepy. And I guess I fell asleep,
3:42too.
3:44Was
3:48I on top of you? Um, you know that I
3:55you know I I honestly don't know. I
3:57think it's probably cuz I got comfy.
3:59Like I guess I got comfy and then my
4:01body moved on its own and then I rolled
4:03over and you know bad habits again. You
4:07know how it is. And you got to admit
4:10though, I mean, hey look, you got to be
4:12honest. You were comfy too. Don't be
4:14lying.
4:15Exactly. Yeah. You were comfy, too.
4:17Don't be Don't be saying questioning
4:20things on why I did this and why I did
4:22that. Whenever you were knocked out like
4:24a light, we were knocked out. We were
4:26both knocked out.
4:30Yeah, I know. It is kind of like the
4:32past how we we would always take naps
4:35together and fall asleep, you know, fall
4:37asleep on on each other and all that
4:39stuff. But hey, old habits die hard. I
4:44guess you missed it, didn't you?
4:52Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You hate me. Whatever.
4:54Whatever. Okay, I guess you can go back
4:57to hating me now because you're all
4:58better now, huh? You all better now. You
5:01all healed up. Not even a thank you. Not
5:03even nothing.
5:07Finally, I get a thank you.
5:09>> [sighs]
5:10>> Somebody remembered their manners.
5:13But yeah, I guess you're all better now.
5:16But you know, I always wondered
5:20how come you called me. Out of all
5:22people, you called me.
5:26Like you, you know, you could have
5:27called your friends, whoever you're
5:30talking to at the moment,
5:32somebody,
5:34but you called me.
5:37Was there no one else that could have
5:39taken care of you? Was there nobody else
5:41that you're close to that would have and
5:44happily have taken care of you?
5:51[sighs and gasps]
5:52Of course, you have no one to rely on,
5:55Miss Independent.
5:57Miss I don't need no man.
6:00[snorts and sighs]
6:00Well, I guess I'm the special one then.
6:08Just a little bit. Yeah. Okay, buddy.
6:10Okay, buddy. Okay. But like I said, even
6:13though we're not together anymore, I
6:15still help whenever I can. But if you
6:18feel better now, you can stay or you can
6:22go. It is completely up to you.
6:30Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, wait. Hold on.
6:32You said you're still sleepy and you're
6:34going to take another nap.
6:36Well, damn. Hold on. Hold on there. I
6:40was actually going to take a nap.
6:45Huh? You're telling me to nap on the
6:47couch? On my couch. On the couch. But
6:51this is my bed.
6:53This is my room. And this is my place.
6:57Why don't you sleep on the couch? Why do
7:00I got to sleep on the couch?
7:05Okay, I know it's comfy. That's why I
7:07got this bed. But you know what? Too
7:09bad. You're the guest. You go on the
7:11couch.
7:15Oh, you're not going to move. Okay,
7:16fine. Whatever. Then I guess we're both
7:18sleeping here then. Okay, fine. Yeah,
7:21fine. Whatever.
7:26You got something to say? Okay. What is
7:28it? What sassy remark you got now? Hm.
7:30How might I give it back to you? Times
7:3210. So, go ahead. Hit me with it.
7:38Oh, I didn't.
7:41Okay, now I'm now I'm flabbergasted,
7:45dumbfounded.
7:47Um,
7:49can I cuddle you? Uh, yeah. Yeah, yeah,
7:54I know. It was nice to cuddle each
7:56other. Yeah, we can cuddle.
7:59[laughter]
8:01That's funny.
8:04Why? I mean, I don't know. It's just
8:06It's just funny. I didn't expect you to
8:09ask that, but you know, now that I think
8:12about it, I knew you missed it. I knew
8:15it. I knew you missed it.
8:22Oh, shut up. Oh, yeah. Okay, I'll make
8:25you shut up.
8:28How?
8:30Don't test me. Don't test me, girl.
8:33Don't test me.
8:36Fine then. If you want to keep testing
8:38me, come here.
8:43[sighs]
8:46Hey, I warned you. Don't test me.
8:50[snorts]
8:51Whatever. Yeah, sure. We can pretend
8:53that nothing happened.
8:57So, you want to just lay here? I guess
9:01it's going to be dead silent. Let's at
9:03least talk about something. So,
9:08how have you been? Like, actually, it's
9:11been what, two months now? Two months is
9:15a long time.
9:19Oh, yeah. You've been okay. Just okay.
9:25Okay. What's been going on
9:31now? Okay. Work and school. Same
9:33[snorts] old, same old.
9:37Me? Um. H.
9:40What about me? Uh, let's see. What's
9:42new? What changed? Honestly, I've been
9:45all right. Keeping busy. Trying to stay
9:48busy. At least you know how it is.
9:55Yeah. You seeing anyone?
9:59Am I? No. I asked you first. You answer.
10:06No. Okay. Me too. No.
10:12Yeah. Yeah. I'm not [sighs]
10:15It's not really uh you know, it's not my
10:18thing right now.
10:24You know, I just,
10:27you know, still recovering from our
10:29relationship. You know how it is.
10:322 months. I mean, you know, something
10:34has changed between us, but it's only
10:37been two months. Is that enough time for
10:40you to change?
10:44Yeah, that's what I thought.
10:46Did anything different happen for you?
10:51Oh, you got a new plant. Okay,
10:54congratulations.
10:55Even though you don't have a green
10:56thumb. I don't know why you got a
10:58freaking plant for. You always killed
10:59all of them. And then I always took care
11:01of them. I only I was the only one that
11:04watered them and you kill everything.
11:07Damn it. What are you getting a plant
11:09for? You're going to want You're going
11:11to torture it, let it die, or what?
11:15What do you mean? What do I mean? You
11:16know exactly what I'm talking about,
11:18honey. You killed every single plant I
11:20got you. And matter of fact, I got you a
11:23cactus. How'd you kill a cactus?
11:28How'd you kill a cactus? That's
11:31genuinely I'm baffled. How'd you kill a
11:33cactus? They barely need any water.
11:35How'd you kill it?
11:38Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
11:40Okay. Okay, buddy. Okay. We don't talk
11:42about that one. Yeah. Okay, buddy. Okay.
11:44All right. Whatever.
11:46Character development. Yeah, I guess. I
11:49guess you got that now.
11:52Yeah. Yeah. Sure. Sure. Sure. Yeah. No.
11:55No. No. No. For real. You got a plant.
11:58Great. Is it alive?
12:02It is. Good. Perfect.
12:06That's real growth right there.
12:08So, what kind of plant did you get?
12:13Oh, okay. Apaos. Nice. Those are hard to
12:17kill.
12:20That's why you got it. Okay. Smart.
12:23Anything else going on?
12:28Wait, really? No, you've been cooking
12:30more. Really? You You've been cooking
12:33more.
12:34Like actual cooking, not just
12:36microwaving frozen food.
12:39Actual cooking and not just, you know,
12:41making instant ramen.
12:45Wow. Color me impressed.
12:48Wow. Good job. Good job. Okay. I see
12:51you. I see you.
12:55Me?
12:58I mean, you know, nothing drastic
13:00happened to me. I rearranged my whole
13:03room.
13:05Yeah. I mean, as you can see, you know,
13:08there's a big difference. The bed used
13:10to face the window.
13:12It was messing with my sleep though cuz
13:14it was freaking bright as hell in the
13:15morning.
13:19No, I didn't sleep fine. Well, I slept
13:23fine whenever you were here because it
13:26was very cozy whenever you were here.
13:29But whenever it's by myself, I didn't
13:31really sleep well.
13:35What else?
13:37Working out more, you know.
13:42Oh yeah. You see the difference? Good.
13:43[snorts]
13:45Yeah. I've been working out a bit more,
13:47trying to get a better body and all
13:49those things.
13:55Yeah. Thanks. You seem good, too.
13:57Actually good.
14:00I'm glad you know things are turning
14:01around for you.
14:08Yeah, I know.
14:10I know you don't need to remind me.
14:12We've had our, you know, our little
14:14rough patches and everything,
14:17but you know, it seems like you were in
14:20a healthier place and I'm in a healthier
14:23place.
14:25But speaking of that, can I ask you
14:28something?
14:31Did you
14:33Did you miss me at all ever since we
14:36broke up? Did you
14:42Huh? That's not a fair question. What do
14:45you mean? Why not? Why is it not a fair
14:47question?
14:52Oh, because I already know the answer.
14:56Yeah, I guess I do.
14:58I missed you, too. Just so you know.
15:06What did I miss? You know, a lot of
15:09things. I miss a lot of things. The
15:11small things I miss a lot, but sometimes
15:15the small things aren't really the small
15:17things. You know, the small things can
15:19be major, too, cuz they add up over time
15:21and all of that.
15:25Give you examples.
15:28Okay. Let me see.
15:32Oh, okay. I missed the way you'd steal
15:35all my blankets.
15:39Why you lying, girl? Why you lying? You
15:41literally have like the whole blanket
15:44right now. You wrapped yourself in a
15:46little burrito. You gave me like a
15:47little sliver, like a little corner.
15:50Like a quarter of my body has a bl has a
15:52blanket over and the others don't. Like
15:54the rest of my body doesn't. It's cold.
16:00Different, man. What you mean different?
16:02How's that different?
16:06Because you're sick. I mean, you ain't
16:08sick no more. You all healed up now.
16:13Oh, you're recovering. Yeah. Okay. I
16:15thought you said you were fine earlier.
16:22Yeah. Okay. Another
16:25thing I miss
16:27Oh, I miss the way you laugh at your own
16:30jokes before you even finish them.
16:34Yeah, you do. Yeah, [clears throat] you
16:36do. I think it's so funny. Whenever
16:38you're trying to say something funny or
16:41show me something, before you even do
16:43it, you crack up. You crack yourself up.
16:45I think it's so funny.
16:49Yeah.
16:54Something really nice that you did was
16:56um
16:58we used to talk to each other until we
17:00fell asleep. That that was really nice.
17:05Mhm. Yeah, it was really nice. It was,
17:09you know, one of my favorite things that
17:11you ever did. It was lovely.
17:18I know. I know. I know. That was the
17:21problem. I always never told you things
17:24and I told you never told you how I feel
17:26about things.
17:28But you know, I worked on it and I got a
17:30lot better now. That's why I can be so
17:33open about it.
17:39Yeah, I know. I've gotten a lot better
17:41at, you know, voicing my feelings and my
17:45opinions and just, you know, generally
17:49how I feel about things. I've gotten a
17:52hell of a lot better at voicing it.
17:58Yeah, I know. Better late than never,
18:00right?
18:02And also, whenever you called me because
18:04you were sick.
18:06Yeah, I was actually in the middle of
18:09the gym and doing my errands and all my
18:12stuff. But
18:15whenever I found out that, you know,
18:18you were feeling ill and you had no one
18:21else to help you, I dropped everything.
18:24Anything and everything that I was doing
18:25for that whole day, I dropped it,
18:27canceled it, moved it along in my
18:29schedule for another time. And then I
18:32prioritized you
18:35because, you know, it was you. You're
18:38important to me.
18:40And regardless of whatever it is I'm
18:43doing, I'm always going to pick up and
18:47be there with you right by your side.
18:52I mean, yeah, that's just the honest
18:54truth. And maybe it isn't fair, maybe it
18:56isn't, but you know, that's just how I
18:58feel about you.
19:00Doesn't have to be fair. Some things are
19:03just, you know,
19:05um I guess the best way to say it is
19:08some things are worth it.
19:10And you,
19:13that's how I feel about you. You're
19:15worth it. You're worth me moving around
19:18everything just to make sure that you're
19:20okay.
19:29What are we doing? What do you mean?
19:34What is this?
19:36I don't know. [sighs] I don't even know
19:38what this is. But all I know is I'm just
19:42being honest with you and I'm telling
19:44you how I feel.
19:51I know. I know.
19:54I know. I believe me. I understand. I
19:59know you don't want to do this again if
20:00it's going to hurt, but
20:05it's really up to you.
20:07I love you and I do and I always want
20:11you by my side.
20:13And I'm not going to pretend that
20:14nothing ever happened between us or be
20:17strangers. I don't want to just be
20:19strangers anymore.
20:22I don't want to spend another two months
20:23without you.
20:26And I know that you miss me as well. And
20:28I miss you completely.
20:31And I don't want to do this without you.
20:36But I I would like for us to be better.
20:40And honestly, I'm so glad you called me.
20:47Yeah. I'm glad you came over and I'm
20:51glad I was able to take care of you. I'm
20:54glad we were able to, you know, take a
20:55nap together, cuddle together, and sleep
20:58together just like how we did back then.
21:02And now I hope that
21:05we can start over again
21:07and be together once more. Only if
21:10that's okay with you.
21:16Of course I really want that. Of course,
21:20I know you want that because of the way
21:24you kissed me earlier. I know you want
21:25that.
21:30Yeah, I know.
21:32I know. I know. I know. I know. I kissed
21:34you first, but it's because I wanted to.
21:38It just feels so good with you.
21:43Of course, baby. Of course, I want some
21:46more. Come here. Let me have some more
21:49of you.
21:55[sighs]
