0:00You've probably seen these manifestation
0:01videos that tell you that everything
0:03that you want already exists, [music]
0:04that you just need to relax, as if all
0:06of the sudden the Amazon delivery person
0:08is going to show up on your front
0:09doorstep with a million dollars to
0:11deposit [music] directly into your bank
0:12account. It's not that any of these
0:14principles are incorrect. It's that most
0:15of us don't understand them. And in
0:17fact, what we're doing most of the time
0:19is exactly the opposite of what we need
0:21to be doing in order to create the
0:22reality that we want. So, in this
0:24episode, I'm going to share with you
0:25three things that each and every one of
0:26us are doing on an average daily basis
0:29that are preventing us from actually
0:31materializing our dreams. Whether it's
0:32making more money, changing your health,
0:34having better relationships, it is true.
0:36Everything that you want actually
0:37[music] already exists. But the question
0:39is, why is it not showing up in my real
0:42life experience? That's what we're going
0:43to unpack in today's episode of a
0:45Changed Mind.
0:49All right, guys. Today's the big brother
0:50episode. Not that I'm going to be spying
0:52on you, but a woman who's in our
0:54community recently said, "Dave, you're
0:55like the older brother that I never
0:58had." So, what she meant is you just
0:59tell it how it is. And I'm going to tell
1:01it how it is in today's episode because
1:03what I know to be true is that you have
1:05big goals, you have big dreams, and
1:06everything that you want is possible for
1:08you, but you're doing some very specific
1:10habits that are preventing what you want
1:11from materializing. And so, I want to
1:13talk about how this game called reality
1:15actually works. Now, look, I'm not up on
1:17a pedestal here. For years, I tried to
1:20change my life by doing all the things.
1:22You know, it was first it was by trying
1:24different strategies, then more hustle,
1:26more grind, trying to really control my
1:28external circumstances. And then when I
1:30got into personal growth and I realized
1:32that wasn't the key that was going to
1:33unlock the door to my future, I started
1:35doing personal growth really hard, like
1:37more self-help, more law of attraction,
1:40more events. I was working really hard
1:42at manifesting the life that I wanted.
1:44But the truth is is that I kept getting
1:46mostly the same life. Are you with me?
1:48So, I finally got this idea, right? I
1:51saw it. I read it. I heard it in some
1:52videos that the only way you can create
1:54a reality that you want is to stop
1:55paying attention to the reality that you
1:57don't want. And for years, I heard this.
2:00I was like, just stop paying attention
2:01to my problems. Just stop doing
2:02anything. Just ignore my reality. But it
2:04didn't make any sense. So, I'm going to
2:06Dave explain it here so that you can
2:08understand what this really means. And
2:10if you get this, literally your whole
2:12life, your business, your career, your
2:14bank account, your whole world can
2:16change. Now, there are three specific
2:19things that we are doing that are
2:20getting in the way of us materializing
2:21the reality that you want. Before I get
2:24to those, the fundamental idea here is
2:26that what you put your attention on, you
2:28get more of. So, we've all heard this
2:30like where attention goes, energy flows.
2:33And so if you want to change your
2:34reality, you need to actually focus on
2:37what you want and stop focusing on what
2:39you don't want. Right? And the great
2:40mystic Neville Goddard talks about this.
2:42He says, "Everything that you want
2:44already exists right here, right now.
2:46The ancient said all of creation is
2:47already finished. And so my dream home
2:50is in vibrational form." Right? The
2:52million dollars in my bank account is in
2:53vibrational form. The soulmate that I
2:56want to attract is right here, right now
2:58around me as if it's a holographic
2:59reality. What I need to do is I need to
3:02assume that I already have those things
3:06because then I will be at the frequency
3:08or the vibration of those things and
3:09then those things must manifest into my
3:11reality. Now it sounds like a mouthful
3:14but as you start to get into personal
3:15growth you're like yeah that really
3:16makes sense. I have to calibrate or tune
3:18myself. I have to start acting as if I
3:20already have the things and then the
3:22things will become the byproduct of that
3:24shift in my inner being. Neville
3:27actually talks about a a process or a
3:29practice where you at you go to bed at
3:31night as your brain waves are shifting
3:33into alpha or theta or beta or whatever
3:35it is and you drift off into the feeling
3:38of having already accomplished your
3:39dreams having already acquired that
3:40dream job having already filled your
3:42bank account with millions of dollars.
3:44And again, I love Neville and all of
3:46these teachings are actually true. I
3:48talk about them in so many other
3:49episodes, but I can also tell you that I
3:50never woke up to a million dollars under
3:52my pillow. like the million-dollar tooth
3:54fairy never visited the Bayer household.
3:57And principles like these can become
4:00frustrating. They can frustrate people.
4:02It's like, gosh, now I now you've got me
4:04to buy into this idea that this is how
4:06reality works. But how do I actually do
4:08this? How do you pay attention to a
4:09reality that doesn't exist yet? And how
4:12do you ignore the reality and all the
4:14problems that are in it that are in
4:16front of you right now? Right? It's
4:18like, don't you feel sometimes like
4:20you're stuck between two realities, like
4:22two dimensions? It's like you have one
4:23leg in your current reality where you're
4:25stuck or you're struggling or you've got
4:27a bunch of problems that you don't want,
4:28but you're doing better in that reality
4:29because you've been doing personal
4:30growth. You know, your mindset's a
4:32little bit better. You you can find
4:33gratitude for your situation. And then
4:35you've got another leg over here in the
4:37fourth dimension, right? In the reality
4:39that you want, but it hasn't quite
4:41materialized itself yet. It shows signs
4:43every once in a while that it's going to
4:45show up in your third dimension. But
4:47then the problems take over again like
4:49weeds in a garden. You start to see
4:50these little flowers pop up like, "Oh,
4:52finally I'm gonna get the thing that I
4:54want." And then like it doesn't happen
4:56and then it's it's pretty exhausting,
4:58right? So, let's unpack this together.
5:00Okay? I'm going to I'm going to give you
5:01three things that you're doing right
5:03now. And what's what's interesting of
5:04about two of these three things is that
5:07being able to accelerate your capacity
5:09to materialize the change that you want
5:11in your life is actually not about doing
5:13something different. It's about not
5:14doing the thing that you're doing that's
5:16preventing the manifestation from taking
5:18place. And then the third one is a shift
5:20in perception. So, so the first
5:21distinction
5:23I would describe as your word is your
5:26wand. Right? This is a this is a book
5:29written by one of my favorite authors
5:31and teachers. Her name is Florence
5:32Govshin. But she has a series of books
5:34and one of them is called your word is
5:35your wand. She talks about the power of
5:37the spoken word and she says what you
5:41speak becomes your reality. The basic
5:44principle right that your words have
5:46power is literally all over the Bible.
5:49Like I would say other than the
5:50instruction to not have fear this
5:53explanation that your words have power
5:55is like one of the most prominent things
5:57in the Bible. Proverbs 18 says death and
5:59life are in the power of the tongue.
6:02Right? Matthew 12 says, "By your words
6:04you will be acquitted. By your words you
6:05will be condemned." Psalm 141, "Set a
6:09guard, O Lord, over my mouth. Keep watch
6:14over the door of my lips." I mean, are
6:15you kidding me? Could this be any
6:17clearer? Like, so your words have power
6:20or as Shin says, your word is your wand.
6:23Okay? So, what we need to start doing if
6:26we want to transform our reality is we
6:29have to pay attention to the words that
6:31we speak. And notice I'm not saying here
6:33figure out how to change your reality.
6:34I'm saying pay attention to the words
6:37that you're speaking. In particular,
6:38what you're saying that is reinforcing
6:42your current reality and that is
6:44ignoring the reality that you want. In
6:46other words, we talk about our current
6:49reality quite a bit, don't we? And what
6:51you're speaking is the leading indicator
6:55of your vibration. Right? If our
6:57vibration or our thoughts or our beliefs
7:00are creating our reality, we should pay
7:02attention to what we speak because what
7:04you speak is a byproduct of what you're
7:05thinking and feeling. If you understand
7:07basic behavioral psychology, you'll
7:09understand how simple this is. This is
7:11not woowoo. This is not new age, right?
7:13But behavioral psychology says what you
7:16think you feel and what you feel you do.
7:20And what you do produces the results in
7:22your life. Really straightforward. And
7:24so that's why if you want to change your
7:25reality, you have to change the way that
7:27you think because changing the way that
7:28you think changes the way that you feel,
7:30which changes what you do, which changes
7:31your results. But I don't know if you've
7:33noticed, sometimes it's hard to pick up
7:35on what it is you're thinking. Like
7:38thoughts are happening all the time and
7:40they're happening so fast while we're
7:42engaging with reality that it's hard to
7:44catch our thoughts. And feelings for
7:47many people are equally difficult to
7:48assess. I can ask, you know, a a a room
7:51full of 10 people how they feel and five
7:53of them won't really be able to
7:55articulate what it is that they're
7:57feeling. It's just like I feel good or I
7:58feel bad. So, your thoughts and your
8:01emotions, they happen beneath the radar,
8:03but they're the root cause. The
8:05byproduct of your thoughts and emotions
8:06is what you speak, right? Speaking is an
8:10indication of what you're thinking and
8:11what you're feeling.
8:13And so, you say, "Things never work out
8:15for me." But that's what you're thinking
8:17and feeling. You say, "I'm worried about
8:19this outcome." But that's an indication
8:21of what's going on inside of you. And
8:23what's going on inside of you will
8:24always materialize outside of you.
8:26That's how creation works. So the first
8:30thing that we need to do if we want to
8:32start shifting from the reality that we
8:35have with problems to the reality that
8:37we want with solutions is to pay
8:39attention to what you speak. It's an
8:41indicator of what you're thinking and
8:42feeling and it's a lot easier to
8:44control. Now, if I were to sit with you
8:46for an afternoon and just listen to what
8:47you had to say, I could tell you with
8:49the utmost precision what your life
8:50looks like, right? Your words are the
8:52leading indicator of your life. And so,
8:54you could say, "Well, Dave, what good is
8:56it to stop saying things or commenting
8:59on my current reality if I'm still
9:01thinking and feeling it?" My answer is,
9:03well, you start to starve the thoughts
9:06and the emotions because they're fueled
9:09by the speech and then that speech
9:10becomes action. So this speech thing is
9:14the bridge between your inner world and
9:16your outer world. And if you blow up the
9:18bridge, everything that comes before it
9:20has less power and what comes after it
9:22cannot come anymore. If you stop
9:25speaking negativity into your life or
9:27stop speaking about the situations or
9:29circumstances that exist right now that
9:31you would like to pass, it will allow
9:33them to pass. So your words are the
9:35leading indicator of your life. But it's
9:37even more than behavioral psychology.
9:39Your word is your wand because your
9:40words are dense. They're even more dense
9:44or physical than your thoughts and your
9:45emotion. Your words are the final
9:47byproduct of the translation of very
9:49subtle thoughts into more noticeable
9:51emotions. And now that you what you
9:53speak is the first presentation of that
9:56inner vibration into your outer world.
9:59Right? You're actually broadcasting a
10:00frequency and reality is responding to
10:03that frequency. Think about it. What you
10:05speak is the first visible
10:07representation of what you're creating
10:08in the world. It is now external. It's
10:10traveled from inside of you to outside
10:11of you. And so like Florence Goville
10:14Shin says, your word is your wand. So
10:17you're literally broadcasting language
10:19into the world. But casting is a spell.
10:23You're spelling. You're spellcasting.
10:25That's what you're doing when you speak.
10:27You're casting spells. Letters are
10:29coming out of your mouth in the form of
10:30vibration. words that string together
10:32into concepts and you create that
10:34reality. All the words we use to
10:36describe magic or to break down language
10:39into letters, right? That's not by
10:41accident. The ancients understood this.
10:43Your speech is creative or destructive
10:45depending upon how you use it. Hey, it's
10:47David. Just a quick interruption to your
10:49regularly scheduled episode by your
10:51favorite sponsor, Mwah. I want to tell
10:54you about my book. It is available on
10:56Amazon right here, right now. A changed
10:58mind go beyond self-awareness. rewire
11:01your brain and re-engineer your reality.
11:03In this little book are all the
11:05frameworks, the tools, the methodologies
11:07that I talk about on this show and that
11:08I've used to actually change my mind and
11:11that tens of thousands of other people
11:12have used to transform their bank
11:14accounts, their businesses, their
11:16relationships, their health, their
11:17spiritual connection, everything that
11:19you want to achieve. This is the way to
11:21achieve it. And Amazon has done us a
11:23good one right now. It's significantly
11:25discounted. So, you can go and pick up
11:27your copy, or better yet, pick up a copy
11:29for a friend, too. There's nothing
11:30better than giving the gift of
11:31transformation right now. Hop on over to
11:34Amazon. There's a link in the show
11:35notes. And if you love the book as much
11:37as I loved writing it for you, do me a
11:39favor, let me know that and leave a
11:41review. And now, back to your regularly
11:43scheduled episode. So that's the first
11:45thing that we have to do if we want to
11:47really start to change our reality is we
11:49have to stop speaking about the reality
11:52that we don't want and start speaking
11:55about the reality that we do want. Have
11:58conversations in anticipation of the
12:00beautiful things that are making their
12:01way from the fourth dimension to the
12:02third dimension. Stop talking about the
12:04things that you don't want. What little
12:06money you have in your bank account, how
12:07much your body aches,
12:09right? Stop speaking about those things
12:12because your word is your wand. So this
12:13is the this is the first piece of
12:15ignoring your current reality and how to
12:18make sense of that recommendation in the
12:20context of manifestation. Now the second
12:22thing
12:24is the quality of speech that we would
12:26call complaining. So your complaints
12:29compound your problems. See most people
12:32don't know this but your problems come
12:34to pass. All of us have problems. You're
12:37always going to experience things in
12:38your life that you don't expect or
12:40things that don't seem to be in
12:41alignment with what you're wanting to
12:42create or that seem to be challenges or
12:44roadblocks between where you are and
12:45where you want to go. That's never going
12:47to end. And it's the same for all of us.
12:50But the question is whether or not your
12:51problem
12:53transforms into a solution. Whether or
12:55not your problem comes to pass. Problems
12:58are designed by nature to pass. They're
13:00like part of the everchanging dynamic of
13:02reality. All things come and go, right?
13:05Nature comes and goes. The sun rises,
13:08the sun sets. We come and go, right? We
13:10have an incarnation. We live and then we
13:12pass and then we die. Change is a
13:15fundamental principle in this system.
13:18And that's true also for your problems.
13:20Your problems are meant to change into
13:22what? Into solutions. But complaints
13:25compound your problems. As I mentioned
13:28before, most people pay too much
13:29attention to their current
13:30circumstances.
13:32And not only do we speak into our
13:36reality things that we do not want
13:37rather than things that we do want, but
13:40we engage in conversation with others
13:42about it. And this is what complaining
13:43is. Complaining is taking a problem and
13:47hardening it into our reality by
13:49enrolling other people into agreeing
13:53with us that this problem exists. What
13:55do we do when we complain? Right? We
13:58bring attention to the circumstances
14:00that we have that we don't like and then
14:02we discuss them with others. We
14:03socialize them. We post them on social
14:05media. We reinforce them. There's it's
14:08like there's some weird part of us that
14:11feels like we have to talk about what it
14:13is that we don't want as if that's how
14:16we're going to get rid of it or that
14:19that somehow complaining is going to
14:21make us feel better. Has complaining
14:22ever made you feel better? I can see if
14:25I really inquire within me like why am I
14:27complaining about this? It's like I want
14:28someone's empathy. I want someone to
14:30tell me it's going to be okay. Somehow I
14:32think that talking about it might spark
14:35up a discourse around how I'm going to
14:36solve the problem. I don't want to feel
14:38alone over here with my problems. And I
14:42get it. I get it. But but what we're
14:44doing is we're bringing energy and
14:46attention to a manifestation in our
14:49reality that we're wanting to change.
14:52And we don't change something by
14:53bringing energy to it. We change
14:54something by starving,
14:57starving it out. We do not speak about
14:59it. We do not complain about it. And
15:03then when we really get good at this, we
15:04do not worry about it. We live in
15:06unshakable faith and we and we refuse
15:10the energy to that problem in our life.
15:12And so it can no longer maintain itself.
15:14That problem has to come to pass. This
15:16is a very important thing to understand.
15:17Problems always come to pass.
15:21The third thing to understand here,
15:23watch what you speak, stop complaining,
15:24is to give proper perspective on what
15:27these things are that we call problems.
15:30And I would say that they are the seeds
15:31for your dreams. You say, Dave, how can
15:34that be? How can my health problem be
15:35the seed for my dream? How can the
15:38negative bank account balance that I
15:40carry in my bank account and the
15:43significant amount of credit card debt
15:44be the seed for my dream? And Abraham
15:46Hicks explains this really, really well.
15:48Abraham says, "You experience problems
15:51because problems help you focus your
15:53attention towards a desire."
15:56I if you didn't experience what you
15:58don't want, you'd never really know what
16:00you do want. And the truth is is that,
16:03you know, we've got 8 billion people on
16:04the planet right now, all creating their
16:07own realities. And those realities start
16:09to overlap. They bump into each other.
16:11So, you run into someone else's reality.
16:14And you get to determine whether you
16:16like that reality or you don't. And
16:19that's okay. This is a natural part, as
16:21Abraham calls it, the sifting and the
16:22sorting through the buffet of life.
16:24Because each and every person has the
16:27right to create what they want to
16:29create.
16:31And in this overlap, we run into other
16:34people's creation. And the parts of
16:36their creation that we don't like, we
16:38call problems. I got a problem which is
16:41my boss. I got a problem which is my
16:42partner. I got a problem which is the
16:44market. I've got a problem which is AI
16:47replacement. I've got a problem which is
16:49my government. But the problem is the
16:51seed for your preferences. It is the
16:54seed for your dreams. And because you're
16:56so powerful, because you're made in the
16:57image of the great creator itself or
17:00himself, you have the ability through
17:02the power of your attention to sculpt
17:05reality and to create something
17:07different to bring a solution into the
17:10world and allow the problem to pass. And
17:13this is important to understand because
17:14it'll allow you to give yourself
17:17permission to stop speaking about and to
17:20stop complaining about the reality that
17:22you don't want. The reality that I'm
17:24asking you to ignore. So that the
17:26reality that you've already called
17:27forth, which is in the waiting room
17:29called the fourth dimension, which is a
17:31byproduct of you running into problems
17:33and fine-tuning and honing your desires
17:35and dreams, can manifest itself into
17:37your thirddimensional reality. So all of
17:39this is a structure to give context to
17:42this what on the surface level seems
17:45like a crazy idea which is ignore your
17:47reality. Stop paying attention to your
17:50problems. We've been taught that we have
17:52to wrestle our problems to the ground.
17:54Attack our problems and roll other
17:56people and helping us solve our
17:57problems.
17:58But the truth is is that you ignore your
18:00problem. You ignore your problem. Your
18:03problem will transform into a solution.
18:04Because problems come not to stay but
18:06they come to pass. And they exist to
18:08become the seed of inspiration for what
18:10it is that you want. And if you can
18:12develop the skill of noticing your
18:14problems but then bringing your full
18:16attention to the solution or towards the
18:19desired outcome which has not yet
18:21manifest in your reality. Man, will you
18:23accelerate change in your life. People
18:25will look from the outside in going this
18:27guy's a miracle maker. This woman's a
18:29miracle maker. I don't understand. It's
18:30like it's like she just speaks reality
18:33into existence. And it's like yes,
18:34that's what we were told. we have the
18:36gift and the privilege of being able to
18:37do is to speak reality into existence.
18:40But the problem is is we pay too much
18:41attention to the reality that we don't
18:43want. And we speak that reality into
18:45existence over and over and over again.
18:48You know what's really interesting is
18:50the philosophy that [snorts] your
18:52reality is being refreshed on a
18:54momentby-moment basis. In other words,
18:56the fourth dimension is always streaming
18:58into the third dimension. But it seems
19:00like our third dimensional reality
19:02doesn't change cuz we keep putting the
19:04same song on replay. It's the same
19:07speaking, the same complaining, the same
19:08mistaking our problems for problems
19:12rather than the catalyst for solutions
19:15and for desires and the expansion of our
19:18life. And so this is telling it to you
19:20straight. Stop paying attention to your
19:22problems. Now you would say, "But Dave,
19:24will they just disappear without me
19:25taking action?" No. Sometimes you'll be
19:27inspired and you'll take some action,
19:28but you'll take action towards a
19:30solution, not actions against a problem.
19:32It sounds like a 2 millimeter
19:33distinction like it's just semantics,
19:35but it's not. When you step away from
19:38the problem, you allow the problem to
19:41change. New thoughts, new ideas occur
19:43for you, not to solve the problem, but
19:45to create the solution. Other people
19:48become active, which is what creates
19:49synchronicities, coincidences. Uh other
19:52people show up with the solution. other
19:54people become a part of the solution.
19:56But notice it's all about becoming a
19:57part of the solution. It's not becoming
19:59a part of solving the problem. We're not
20:01trying to solve the problem. We notice
20:02the problem and that catalyzes in that
20:05moment in the fourth dimension the
20:07solution is created. And now our ability
20:09to experience the solution relies upon
20:11our capacity to ignore the problem to
20:14align ourselves with the solution not to
20:15entangle with the problem. This is what
20:17quantum entanglement is. Can you
20:18entangle with the solution that has not
20:20yet arrived? Or are you hooked by the
20:24problem that exists right here, right
20:26now? You know, it's important to
20:27understand that all the problems that
20:29you're experiencing right now are again
20:30as what Abraham would call old news.
20:33They're the byproduct of old thoughts,
20:35old emotions, old speech, old focus.
20:39So in this moment, are you courageous
20:41enough? Are you faithful enough to
20:44ignore the problem and to direct your
20:46attention towards something else,
20:48towards the solution or anything else?
20:50Sometimes the business plan I give the
20:53entrepreneurial clients that I'm working
20:54on who are trying to attack a problem is
20:57go for a walk, go spend time with your
20:59kids, go grab a cup of coffee, what do
21:00you enjoy doing, go surfing, go play
21:03with your furry friend. Step away from
21:05the frequency of the problem. Ignore it
21:08and allow the solution to emerge. Right?
21:11Step away from your thirddimensional
21:12reality and allow your fourth dimension
21:14to manifest or materialize. So this is
21:16the teaching. Everything that you want
21:18already exists right here, right now.
21:20That's true.
21:21In order for us to change our reality,
21:24meaning to allow that fourthdimensional
21:26vision to emerge into our
21:28thirddimensional sensory material space,
21:30we have to ignore our reality. Right? We
21:33have to stop fighting with it.
21:36The way that we do that is to watch our
21:37speech, right? Watch your speech because
21:40it is much easier to catch. Become very
21:43disciplined with what you say. In
21:46particular, notice the complaining.
21:49Cut it off. Starve the complaints and
21:51you'll starve the problem. And know that
21:54the problem is the seed to the solution
21:56that you're looking for. You would not
21:58have the desires that you have if you
22:00had not experienced the opposite of
22:01those desires, which we call a problem.
22:03But don't become committed to the
22:04problem. Be committed to the expansion.
22:06And do that by ignoring your reality. So
22:08here's what I want to leave you with
22:09today. Okay? Again, the reality you have
22:11right now is just yesterday's thinking
22:14materialized. It is old news. Don't
22:16worship it. Don't complain about it.
22:18Don't keep speaking it back into
22:19existence. The reality that you actually
22:22want is right here, right now. It
22:23exists. The only thing standing between
22:26you and it is where your attention is
22:28going. So today, do me a favor. Catch
22:30yourself, right? Catch yourself. Be
22:33supportive of yourself. Notice the
22:35words. Notice the complaints. Notice the
22:39dreams that you have been getting
22:40drowned out by everything that you keep
22:42saying about your life and start choking
22:46off those problems by giving them no
22:49more talk time. And the problem that
22:51you're staring at is actually the dream
22:53announcing itself. So, if this video
22:55landed for you, do me a favor. Share it
22:57with one person who needs to stop
22:58arguing with their current reality and
23:00needs to start speaking into the next
23:02one because they need to hear this. If

23:27thoughts, the wisdom that I've gained
23:28through the very bumpy road of my own
23:30experience. This is not a do-it-yourself
23:31project, this thing called personal
23:32growth. It's to do it with others. and
23:34I'm grateful that we're doing it
23:35together.
