0:00um to me yes okay at a discount
0:03probably so jack put in a hundred
0:06dollars
0:07and it's now worth fifteen grand fifteen
0:09thousand dollars
0:11i'm telling him to sell dojo
0:17i'm sorry cell doesn't sound like hold
0:20to me yeah it's a it's a weird spelling
0:22of hold
0:23yeah thank you that's what i thought
0:27what what would elon musk say you know
0:29what i mean
0:30if elon musk was sitting on that couch
0:32right across from you
0:33would you really look that man in the
0:34face and say i'm going to sell my damage
0:36quality you know what that's actually a
0:37great point thank you for raising
0:39tonight
0:40so right now for reference at the time
0:42we're filming this it's 64 cents
0:45and nice
0:48i this is it's tough for me because i
0:51remember
0:52us uh filming a podcast a year ago
0:55almost a year ago like exactly almost
0:58where it was trading at
1:010.034
1:03cents each and i put a thousand dollars
1:05in it
1:06and that today would be worth i think it
1:08was 150
1:09000 155 000 immediately after the
1:12podcast was over i'm like ah
1:14stupid i sold it oh no
1:19i would turn a thousand into 150 i would
1:22have made uh
1:24like three times the amount that this
1:26podcast has made
1:27over the last year from 60 seconds of a
1:31joke in a podcast
1:33that hurts so bad i feel like when time
1:36travel
1:36inevitably gets invented it's not going
1:39to be
1:40nasa it's not going to be some offspring
1:42of neil degrasse tyson
1:44it's just going to be someone who's so
1:45determined to go back in time
1:47and invest in the right crypto and
1:49stocks
1:50that they pull this off if if that
1:53existed then wouldn't we
1:54now be like receiving people coming from
1:57the future
1:58like not if they were very careful about
2:00it because here's
2:01so here's so here's uh here's an
2:03interesting thing that uh that someone
2:05was talking about on reddit
2:06and the concept was if you could go back
2:1010 years from now and you would have a
2:12choice to go and invest in
2:14bitcoin 10 years ago you knew what it
2:16was going to do
2:17but your future wasn't guaranteed would
2:20you go and take that opportunity
2:22and the topic was like absolutely i
2:25would go and i would invest in bitcoin
2:27back then
2:27and i would get to relive like the
2:29greatest moments of my life
2:31and all my friends invest with me
2:34and we could all be mega wealthy and our
2:37lives would be great
2:38imagine this is a movie though where
2:40somebody today goes back 10 years from
2:42now and somebody today by the way who
2:44has like an amazing family
2:46they have a happy job they're living in
2:48but they just want like
2:49hey i want to help out my family and
2:50like and have all this money and be able
2:52to help everyone else around me but they
2:53have a loving family
2:55imagine if they went back they bought
2:56bitcoin
2:58but somehow by them buying bitcoin or
3:00like one little action along the way
3:03caused bitcoin to become worthless and
3:06now
3:06all of a sudden that because they bought
3:08bitcoin they
3:10didn't meet the love of their life they
3:11didn't have their family
3:13they screwed everything up along the way
3:14and not only that but what they came
3:16back in time for is now worthless
3:19imagine that as a movie imagine that and
3:22just the whole that's that's the
3:24that is i think that would hurt my
3:26feelings yeah i think he wants you to
3:27make a movie
3:28about this no i i just thought that
3:30would be that would be such an
3:31incredible movie because it's not what
3:32you would expect
3:34uh you would have to find a way for this
3:35to be like uh you know for there to be
3:37some sort of happy ending
3:39but uh yeah you know how would you
3:41resolve that i guess you would have to
3:43do it or something like that i don't
3:45know but but it
3:46presses the weight go back button
3:48do-over button
3:49but no it's it's an interesting thing
3:51that even if you were able to go back in
3:53time for certain things
3:54just want like you'd make the wrong turn
3:56on one street
3:58and maybe because of that someone gets
3:59delayed from their job and because of
4:01that they get fired because they got
4:02fired they started the business that
4:03competes with
4:04like there's just so many different
4:05things that i think could happen
