0:40than a than a new one because they're
0:43sold out everywhere

0:47responsibly afford it

1:30why so much why have they gone up so
1:32much in value
1:33all of them have you know um i'm
1:37not a huge fan of rolex i personally
1:39find them boring even though i do own
1:40one i own two
1:41actually why because they're a marketing

1:44i mean it's a status symbol it's the it
1:47thing to have
1:48uh it's a great watch nothing against
1:50the watch but whenever you walk into a
1:52rolex boutique
1:53and they laugh at you you know like oh
1:55you have the submariner and they just
1:56throw their head back and laugh
1:57and call security you know what i mean

2:01because they're sold out everywhere it's
2:03one of those things where it is
2:05it is what it is um i mean the
2:07submariner was worn by james bond
2:09you know before omega there was
2:12the submariner before the submariner
2:14there was the explorer when ian fleming
2:15wrote the books
2:16so it represents this like cool
2:19sophisticated machismo or you buy a sub
2:23you kind of feel like james bond
2:25it's it it's also one of the few sports
2:27watches you can wear to the office
2:28in a suit and it looks great or you
2:31could
2:31you know wear like with t-shirt like
2:33graham is wearing now it looks great
2:35it's something you can keep for the
2:37entire your entire life
2:39and hand it down and it's it's a great
2:41great watch
2:42but as a watch collector and dealer um
2:46you know you get over it a little bit
2:48because it's everywhere
2:50you know for jack it's perfect honestly
2:53it's a great way you won't lose money
2:55it's a great way to start
2:57if you never want another watch for the
2:59rest of your life
3:00you're set forever or it could start
3:04a deep and ugly addiction where you
3:05spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a
3:07year online
3:08hundreds of thousands of dollars i wish

3:12spend well you'll get there

4:11heirloom piece
4:12that you're going to buy once as a sim
4:15to me that's a symbol of hard work
4:17saving and dedication to get a watch
4:19like that and that's going to be a
4:20constant reminder of like
4:22look what i was able to accomplish and
4:24what i purchased
4:25and that's a sign of hard work that's
4:26what i see it as
4:28that and it's still safe i mean it's
4:30safe if you really
4:31don't feel comfortable with it

4:56wear while you're putting together ikea
4:57furniture when you're playing football
5:00with your buds while you're at the gym
5:02while you're digging in the dirt when
5:03you're in the shower it's one of those
5:05watches that
5:06that i think you could keep on your
5:07wrist 24 7
5:10and it will it it's meant to take a
5:12beating that watch and it looks
5:13better as it patinas with age
5:16i'll tell you what when i get an
5:18investment property
5:20i think that that would be a good way to

5:29uh or on a milestone like when the

5:57to attach a watch with a memory is
5:59something men have been doing it
6:01men have been doing for generations and
6:04you know there's something beautiful
6:05about that you know why not being a
6:06birthday or or when you get your
6:08investment property or
6:10whatever it may be i think a milestone
6:12if you could pick a significant
6:14milestone that you could remember for
6:15the rest of your life whether it be a
6:16specific birthday
6:18or buying a rental property how about
6:20this the day i retire
6:21no no right then the launch is going to
6:24be like 40 years
6:24okay all right so i like the uh the
6:27investment property
6:28because i i it's so hard for me to get a
6:30watch just i feel like i'm
6:31i understand where you're coming from
6:32like it holds value but i feel like i'm
6:34still it's like
6:35i can't view it as an investment so i
6:36need to do something you have more cash
6:38sitting in a bank account probably just
6:40losing money and interest
6:41here's the thing you you don't need an
6:43emergency fund unless they keep the
6:44emergency fund in the watch
6:46really yeah you can you know why don't
6:49you have like 50 watches then i'll make
6:51you a deal
