0:00We're going to try to raise the house
0:01about 3 ft initially and then lower back
0:03down to about 21 [music] in. To do so,
0:06we run steel beams underneath the house.
0:08They weigh 4,000 lb.
0:10And to move them from the road down the
0:12side of the house, they had to put them
0:14on small little rollers
0:15and maneuver them by hand. We cut out
0:18the concrete. You can see these spots
0:19where the concrete foundation has been
0:22cut out. Then we slide those beams in on
0:24the rollers and then place them
0:27on cribbing that's raised [music] up
0:29with hydraulic presses into position. We
0:32lift about 6 in at a time, re-block it,
0:35[music]
0:36another 6 in, re-block it, another 6 in.
0:39We have gone around and disconnected the
0:40whole house from the outside all [music]
0:42the way around.
0:43And we're ready to go. Quite exciting
0:45today.
